"Team in that formation. It was sticking to toppling. Playing underneath Jesus Ferreira as kind of a number ten, saddling is a good player. He's a good depth player in this league. It's not a number ten. Dallas have an open DP slot, speaking into existence. If you're playing a double pivot now and I think we've seen enough of pama call to say like he's not that difference maker in the final third that we all kind of hoped he would be. But he's still a good player still have to have him out there. Fair enough. It was just Matt Doyle and A.C. Milan. But he's okay, he's more of an 8. They need that creative hub. It can't all be Jesus Ferreira and the wingers. You have an open DP slot. You're not going to spend it on another forward. You're not going to spend it on another winger. Go out and get more Diaz two, man. It fits. Let me just start to play with it. Let me just ask you though, so then how much resources do you have in legit and pommel who you can't play both of, right? That's fine. Legit is 31 years old. You know, he's been a good player, but never truly great in this league. He's probably more comfortable as a number 8 or as a backup winger. Like you can use him if you want to go to a four three three with a single pivot at that point. Squad rotation. Everybody's playing a million games now. Yeah, but we're talking about playoffs, right? We're talking about winning. It feels like a lot of resources on your bench and big does it? Think about the resources that LAFC have on their bench and we're talking about two different clubs. This is like, this is the step that you're going to have to take.

"The PGA golf, the performance of Michael block, what a story. PGA club professional from Southern California. Just warms the hearts of millions, have beautiful. So Dwayne McNeil of gold, but this is our first. We really is like the first time we've used Dwight McNeil in a nice way in your life. Yeah, I'd used his nickname Dwight as opposed to his given name shape but this is our first part and we have to deal with the serious news up top since really American history. The American nation was forever changed. We kind of solved the next top American striker. Yeah, I mean, we hope so. We hope so. For Lauren balagan comes in to scoring for fun in the French league that he wants. Our nation, let's put this into context, who stood all the three goals total in the interior the last World Cup, one a good one, one off of politics, ball bag. And what a total fluke. Now have following balik and riding with us. And if the name is new to you, I'm shocked because it's been headlined. So it was in my New York Times front page above the fold. The 21 year old Brooklyn born arsenal bred striker on loan the season at rem, where he really just had a breakout season. At the weekend, he scored his 20th goal of the season and became the first U.S. men's national team play in history on nations history to net 20 goals in the top 5 league God bless you flow who tweeted yesterday. I love this. I really did. This gave me so much bloody pleasure. Today, I became the first American player in history. I love this so much to score 20 or more goals in a top 5 league without my teammates. This wouldn't be possible. And I know Jesus Ferreira is listening and no doubt you don't have to tweet us Jesus. We know you're smiling through this, but I read that and was like, I can't get enough as he as a newly made American, I can't get enough of following the use of the word American here. We are lucky to have balagan ride with us and I've talked a lot last week on YouTube in the reaction video that I made in on at least two podcasts I think about this news following baliga who could have played for England. Could have played for Nigeria, but committed to play with the United States ahead of the World Cup on home turf here in 2026, which I think is quite a draw. But what are you make of it, David? I mean, look, I'm not going to, I don't want to pour cold water on this because I do think it is significant. I think it's significant for a number of reasons. He obviously is the best possible striker. I would say available to play for the U.S. and that's who they've got. But we do tend to crown U.S. players before they've quite achieved what they need to achieve for the team that we're actually crowning them for. He has to put on a U.S. shirt. He has to score goals in a U.S. shirt and ligand is definitely impressive, but Jonathan David scores plenty of goals in that league. I think maybe even more than florin balagan. Lacazette, who I don't think many Arsenal fans were sad to see Lee arsenal has scored more goals in ligand. There are other strikers, it's not like Habib Diallo of Senegal, we're thinking, oh, like Senegal have got Diallo. This is a huge move for scored more guys. Let me just step in here because I know the other listens to the popcorn. If you are interested if you're American curious, the type of work. So yes, it's a big story, but let's allow a player to actually do it in a U.S. shirt. And then let's all get behind him. So that's probably the wrong way round. Hype trains don't leave the station like that day though, but you know I agree and I don't agree. I've got to say big picture in context, top line. It feels so bloody good to have great news, positive news, joyous news, emanating from our U.S. men's national team after the leadership conference of doom that we've been really just buried. Did I miss a leadership conference in the middle of that? I'm sorry, I might have missed it. That's a funny thing about balik and he didn't even announce it at a leadership conference at a family odd. I mean, probably going in this country. We go off the record at leadership conferences on the record. That's how we do it, but he is a super capable striker, make no mistake. Number two, in a position that cries out on the U.S. for a massive, massive upgrade. Balagan is a very good footballer right now. But I think as you're hinting, so raw still. So so much upside, we pray to come. I think that's the way to frame it. And yes, arsenal are probably going to deal in. It will be fascinating to see where he ends up over the summer. And he's not messiah. That we have to we have to acknowledge you. In the YouTube instant reaction video that are taped, I did talk about and I've got to say, I can't wait to speak to belly again because this story is amazing. I love this confidence too. I love. I love how much being wanted, both by the U.S. players who made that very clear on social media and the U.S. fan base made him ride with us bond on the YouTube instant reaction video that I taped. We have to be self aware, as you United States fans. By the way, as to say that, I'm completely aware that you're almost the worst offender. Well, that, yes, true, true, but we United States phantom. We dream so big. We've suffered so much. It's been a long time in the wilderness saying that we U.S. fans should be self awareness like me saying, you know, I should get into haircut. Maybe we just are the way we are, but we do dream so big. We do tend to ricochet between roughly, would you say two settings, David? Like a self destructive wallowing and utter sheer despair and the other mood we have is win it all, you know, way out of reality, overconfidence, give us the true fees now. Is that fair to say those are our two general moods? Yeah, these are two settings. I've got a name for both of them and weirdly the name is exactly the same and that name is roger. It applies to both. It's fair. It's fair. I do try and be a bit more nuanced here. I will say, we always want that silver bullet to flick the switch from gloom to glory. That silver bullet has a name. Its name is brick Shay. And football light life does not work like that. You only need to look at the career arcs of politic of geo of Tyler of western, currently segen dest, where we've seen soaring ups incredible moments and true moments of challenge, nothing is straight line. And I say that, as I say, let's welcome follow him.

"Okay. The father's, you're filling in very well for Andrew right now. His favorite thing in the world was when Joseph was the father of Orlando. When I played in Orlando and he scored some ridiculous goals against us, the one where he chops, you know, Jonathan Spector and does a little dink and then I think when they beat us in the future. Which that was for the record. Yeah, I think so. And then when they beat us in the open cup, semifinal, and I believe he was injured, but he was at home on the couch. He was laughing. Hosting a video. So you think he brings that to Miami? I love it. I loved it. I mean, I hated it. And so I left Orlando, but he's such a character, and I think he'll be really up for this game. They didn't start him midweek so that they can start him on the weekend. I'm sure of it. I give enter the edge. They just have no midfield. Yeah. It's always was suspended. I believe he's at the U 20 World Cup. 20 World Cup. So it's going to be ya, which is just not a situation you want, and they brought in Arroyo, which is great. I think has filled in some of the Gregory, but you're filling in for DP. That's gone with a no partner. They're going pretty deep now. Yeah, Sean Mota out. They do look better along the backline. And then Kamal Miller will help them, even though the move was to open up money to get busquets. Last year, whatever it was, I think, come on. Come on, well, there's a good player. So let's go to El Capitan though. 8 30 p.m. Eastern Time, Dallas hosting Houston. FC Dallas, a two one win over Vancouver on this weekend. Jesus Ferreira scored both goals. That gives him 44 all time in MLS regular season play in his Dallas career.

"A goal scorer, there is no hotter goal score. There is no player score, more goals in his age group than father and balogun. It's that simple. In a position that you could say is all of a sudden gotten deep, but it's historically been of need. And here you have a guy that's proven to score goals in a very competitive league at a very young age with a high ceiling. Not since Giovanni Reina have you had a player with this ceiling. This changes almost everything heading into the summer. Yeah, this is massively important. I'm with you. I like that you use massive because sometimes when you get a prospect, we want to shy away from it. We don't want to overhype him. But when you see what this kid is doing already, top flight, first division, big 5 leagues in Europe. You say, okay, he's going to definitely have an impact on the U.S. men's national team. And for me, her, the size of the impact comes down to the position that he plays. I don't think there's a more important position not just because you played it. Then the number 9, right globally, if you have an elite number 9 as a national team, even if you're not that good, I think it changes your ceiling in international competition. Because you don't have to be incredibly efficient as a team, you just need that one guy who maybe you create two or three chances and now a team that maybe is around a 16 team with a great finisher could be a quarterfinal team could be a semifinal team. And then when you talk about the United States, it's the position of most need. When you look around the rest of the U.S. team, is there a position they need more than the number 9, so to check that box, potentially hurt for the next 5, maybe even ten years, let's not forget, this guy's just 21 years old. I don't think you could have a bigger announcement, a bigger find in terms of a player than this. Not unless you found the player who's going to rival Tyler Adams because he's got an issue or pension for not staying healthy. That would be the only thing I could think of said, but you're absolutely right. Listen, there's a lot of depth. I'm going through the names. You've got balog and now you've got Haji. Josh Sargent Ricardo Pepe Daryl dike, Jordan P 5, a Brandon Vasquez may be coming through the mix. That Jesus Ferreira excuse me, yes, the producers getting angry is this fed Aidan who's obviously still in the mix. Those are a lot of names, but none of those names will move the needle. Like, a flow bag in right now. And I mentioned it. It's not that he's just scoring goals. It's how young he is and where he's scoring him at the pace he was scoring them at listen. He's in a little bit of slump, just returned to his goal scoring ways. It's something that a goal scorer will go through. But this has to excite you. It's not one of the best goal scorers in his age group. It's the best goal score organization when the top 5 leagues. Do you think it's such a significant addition that it could change the balance of power and conquer capital? Because right now it feels like U.S. Mexico, Canada, at any moment, one could jump ahead of the others. This, is this that big of a deal? With the right coach, yes. And until that's in place, I can't sit here and tell you this will be a success story. Obviously this is 11 V 11 game, a better team will Trump a better goal scorer any day of the week. So we need to know who's in charge, who's at the helm, how they will play, but man, this certainly tilts the cards in the U.S.'s favor, heading into the summer and what was a pick them game. Maybe now leaning towards the U.S. with the goal scorer. Beyond balog in herk, the impact on the program, to me, as far as dual nationals and recruiting, you always talk about Mexico being kind of a youth World Cup, a youth national team, global superpower. I think you say a tongue in cheek. When we're going to talk about recruitment and in this age of globalization, recruiting dual nationals, try nationals is going to be hugely important. The U.S. is now a superpower.

"History. That's right. Reports started Tuesday morning. They were confirmed almost immediately by U.S. soccer. Follow in balagan. Piling his one time switch with FIFA, it has been approved making him eligible to compete for the United States as early as the Concacaf Nations League. This summer, balog in a poor 21 year old striker, lighten it up in the French leagues on loan from arsenal, his eligible to represent, not just the U.S., England, and Nigeria as well. He actually played for England at the youth national team level, but he's coming home, born in Brooklyn. Here he is. Yeah, so my decision to represent the United States came together with my family and we decided it would be the right thing for me. Crunchyroll was born in so I mean in the end it became a no brainer bought for sure. It's just something that I wanted to do and it feels like I'm at home here. So luckily for me, my first time is going to be in a compared to a tournament. So of course the ambition is to win and there's not really much to it. I think I'm going to have the opportunity to train with the boys and just get to know everyone but for sure straight down to business when we head over to Vegas. I like to play under big games and it's something that every young player should be aspiring to do. So for me, having the opportunity to play against Mexico in a rivalry will be amazing and hopefully I can make a difference. Yeah, I mean, my reaction was I was a bit overwhelmed. I think I knew the U.S. is obviously a big country, but I didn't realize just how many people was involved in so called car, especially every time I just went on social media, I was just seeing loads of comments, people saying that I should choose to represent the U.S. and I mean, it's nice to really feel that before that appreciation. For sure. Polar imbalance committed to the U.S. men's national team, what is the impact on the program? It's massive, Seth. Listen, we've gone through the abysmal play in the pool lately. You've got players who on the verge of getting relegated, whether it be in the Premier League and La Liga, you got players who aren't making game day squads, you got players who are playing and not a good moment. This is array of sunshine array of light. And not only is it a ray of light, but this is one of the best players in his category in the world. A goal scorer, there is no hotter goal score. There is no player score, more goals in his age group than father and balogun. It's that simple. In a position that you could say is all of a sudden gotten deep, but it's historically been of need.

"That was a big chance for them to kind of make up some ground. And for me, it's just like, I think they lack a little bit of attacking depth. They brought in fafa who changed the game. He really helped create that goal that led to that bizarre goal that I don't think I've ever seen happen. But after that, they kind of had to go into a shell. And they took out, I think Dax and ghidorah. They brought in Sean Davis, ananga, but they kind of just started to go into they gave D.C. too much. When a nunga comes on, you know what Gary Smith is doing. I mean, I get shutting it down, but D.C. hadn't been threatening to that point. And so sitting in that shell is almost inviting pressure. The one time they tried to, they got caught stepping out a little bit where we and, oh no, Shaq Moore and Sean Davis who's just returned from injury. They got caught up both of them got caught up in the one time and that's where they find Fletcher who just drives right at picked his head up well to get the assist, but Nashville to me it was disappointing because they had a chance to close that one out with three points and ended up just taking one on the road. Speaking of disappointing, that's awesome FC's season in a nutshell. That's 8 straight without a win. They won their second and third game of the season as they were sort of bouncing back from CCL and it's been nothing. Since then, FC dials with a late goal from Jesus Ferreira, Rodney redes had looked good recently for Austin or at least better. He gets a second yellow, gets a red card sent off, that changed things. Owen wolf is going to the U 20 World Cup dry use he is still injured.

"On your hands. If you're watching on an apple or are you going to behind my laptop? Another 15 minutes on the galaxy. I would. I would, but Anderson. What the heck from the Adams family? What is that thing? That's what reminded me of. Dallas two RSL one Rick asks, what are FC Dallas? Like comma, really? Are they a playoff team? Are they just stuck in the middle? What's up? Doyle, what's up? They're trying to figure that out. They're trying to figure out if they have more than one way to play last year. It was a very controlled positional play for three three with Jesus Ferreira as a false 9. Everything was about making sure they kept their shape, making sure that they didn't expose themselves too much. They ended with them having the second best defense in the league, the best in the Western Conference. They made the playoffs. They lost points over the course of the year because they weren't able to turn those one nils into two now. And right now, what Nico estevez is doing is saying, okay, let's get more guys who are good in the box out onto the field and try to turn one nils into two nils. He's doing that by playing pretty traditional four four two with legit on one side and Paul areola on the other because the last go hasn't been out there as much. He's got a knock right now. He does. Jesus Ferreira is playing up top with Jesus Jimenez and Jimenez is ability to occupy center backs is leading to goals exactly like the one Ferrer scored open to open proceedings this weekend. They generated three more shots on the night. So they're inability to control midfield control the ball in a four four two means that they are not getting enough chances to the guys who are supposed to fix the problem, which was goal scoring last year.

"Our Golden Boot squads that we are guaranteeing is scoring. And so I don't know who's in first, but I am highlighting, congratulations, kalen, I got a text and also Tom. 16 goals, 8 assists so far this season for this squad, and that is even with honey and Brandon Vasquez on one goal apiece. So as you look at your team here, who are you guaranteeing scores a goal? Where's my squad? It's honeymoon. Brandon Vasquez, Jesus Ferreira, Denny, which was a great pick fourth. Picked forth on your team wow. Vince here. Sebastian Ferreira, not the best pick. Lucas L'oreal and a good one, facundo Torres, brinner, Martin ojeda, and shakiri, which is just. I'll be back. That's a Tom pick. I'm gonna go. I do like I'm between two. I've got belanga against Austin, which I like. Or I think I'm gonna go with a late pick that we had, which is delay on against D.C.. He went off against D.C. earlier this year and had two goals. So that matchup works well. I think D.C. plays. They are going to try it and condense the field, I think, to try to not allow Columbus space and I think those little runs that sell their real makes were just makes us a little curling runs ducking in behind that back hill to 80 more as I'm still just like be running one direction and just hit it perfectly behind you. That's not easy to do. Mind you hitting that first time also as cleanly as Aiden Morris did. I mean, that was impressive. So I think I'm gonna go with LA on in this one. I like to pick. I like to pick David goss and second just one goal behind you and Tommy scoops on 15. We'll pick somebody off his team at the end of this one who's in third oh Doyle, you've been just killing your team and I'm in last place. You're in third 14 goals you're only two back. I'm only two bet. You're only two back? Why is everybody backing on my team? I have Klaus. I have been tech a Jeremy bobas. He's got a couple. Willie's got one. Yeah. Who else do I? Well, yeah. Duncan Maguire's got one. So you might have, he might be coming back in.

"Most kids want to sit up front, score the goals, grab the glory, and your 6 foot two now, but at the time you get to hit that gross but and I'm fascinated, what drew you to that position at such an early age, because arson wenger once told me, people who love to win become strikers, people who hate losing defenders. Yeah. I like that. I like that quote. You know, of course my dad, he doesn't know too much about soccer, so he is one of those, one of those parents, of course, everybody wants their kid to score, but here's one of those parents who was like, oh, if you're not scoring you had a bad game, you got to a point where, of course, I wasn't scoring. And so I started eventually moving further and further down the field and then once I hit center half, I was like, no, this is like, I feel like I have the most control in the game because I'm right in front of the goalie and I'm able to kind of make my mark in a way where I don't necessarily need to score the goals, but I can help prevent them. And so like you said, I hate to lose, I don't know if it's just because of how I grew up, but I'm very competitive and ever since then, I've been drawn to it and I've not haven't looked back and yeah, I was very short at the time, so everybody thought I was just kind of a temporary thing. Oh, he'd play there for until the guy comes back and then eventually one summer I woke up and I was like 6 inches taller. Thank God for the United States that guy never came back. But the thing about being a young promising footballer in Birmingham, especially a decade ago before Birmingham had the USL team the mighty legion before Atlanta United, there weren't a lot of places to develop at an elite level. So you had to go on trial to FC Dallas 650 miles away from home where you trained alongside the likes of young Texas up and comers western McKinney. Jesus Ferreira Reggie cannon. Do you remember any of those kids from Batman? Yeah, of course, you know, like they would live stream the national championship game for the academy, and I remember watching Wes, you know, of course when we were watching Reggie, Jesus, Brian Reynolds, all these guys, and FC Dallas and one every year, so it was like the top of the top and I was coming from Alabama, you know? Was Wes Wes back then? Yeah, he was still less, you know, he hasn't, he hasn't changed much since he was like 1617. But yeah, I mean, I came from Alabama where we weren't even the best team in Alabama and then I went on trial at FC Dallas and I was like, this is a whole different world. Yeah, the trials didn't last long inside 5 days, you were cut. We've all been there dear listeners. That kind of rejection, 16 years old, away from home, just starting out, and you ended up moving to Texas anyway, a few months later, not to FC Dallas, but to Texans SC, development academy in Houston, you suffered crippling homesickness away from your family, but that perseverance paid off because a year after the first rejected you, Dallas re approached you, and things have got to say, started to move extremely quickly once you got back to Dallas within a year, you'd sign your first professional contract as a homegrown player. And Chris, your mom has a story about you, ten years of age, you'd put sticky notes on the mirror in your bedroom with all your goals, all of them culminating in the ultimate dream of playing in MLS. And when you're selling that first contract with Dallas, 18 years old, having achieved the extent of what you'd allow yourself to dream as a kid. What went to your head? Were you like, I have climbed the mountain, or were you like, wow, I've got to come up with some new goals and buy some new sticky notes. Yeah. As I had to buy new sticky notes, you know? I had these goals set up for me and it was like, okay, once I signed my first deal at Dallas, I was like, you know, what's next? Signing your first pro contract is always amazing. But then you're thinking, all right, what's the next step? How do I get to the next level? I mean, this is where your story becomes truly surreal through the looking glass. It just an incredible moment because within a month, a month dear listeners, before you'd even played a professional game in MLS. You were given a trial at Bayern Munich, German powerhouse European powers by a unit. They had a player development partnership with Dallas and they offered you a yearlong loan. I wouldn't know we talk about this. Yeah, that happened. And of course, that's where he went. He went first to Dallas, then to how much of a shot was it when they came in, were you playing it cool on the outside inside what was going on because that is a world away. A world away from FC Dallas. I remember calling my parents and I was like, so I'm going to Germany next week. You know, it's a trial and they're like, what do you mean? And I was like, oh, buying this and that. And two years before that, I was playing in Alabama, you know? And then to go from Birmingham to Byron within two years, it was like

"To Frisco with L's for the galaxy. That is crazy. And it happened again, Jesus Ferreira two goals, Alan velasco, had a goal. Paul areola to assist pax and polymer cool, nice little slip ball through to Ferreira for going. That's how you draw it up. If your Nico estevez after a match day one where you really didn't show a ton of ability to create clear goal scoring chances, the flip side is just the galaxy are helping you create clear goal scoring chances by, I don't know, letting balls over the top fall. So that Paul Ariel can square it across the 6. Also that, you know, my fingers completely lost trying to mark the center forward in the box and just ball watching. I think that's more on casares that play. But there's a huge success is 30 yards up the field. So that's why I'm A-okay, then what about the third? What about the third goal then, where it's like, you know the run that Ferrero is going to make. You know the angle that packs the powerful House. Why is literally everyone sleeping? Yeah, there's a bad defensive team. So that's the answer to all of that. They didn't get better. And pooch didn't get a ton of touches in this game, which hurts them. Because if they're not going to score goals, they're not going to be able to win games. But China FC Dallas, baby. And when get it done. Surreal hive. All right, Atlanta one Toronto FC one. Doyle, I wrote in here that Toronto C are in trouble. It's the Federico bernadette show to me. You've got, well, first of all, do you demand it goes off with hamstring tightness? So on comes Io, then Io goes off with hamstring tightness. Lorenzo and senior is not available, might be next weekend, maybe, but they played a very, very defensive sort of you take the ball and we'll just defend posture. Mike Newell, I just saw this tweet out there, says the burning question for the Toronto till I die podcasts are taking your content, trying to tell I die. Would you be okay with Toronto, see grinding out wins and draws like they did on Saturday if it meant they had to play a more pragmatic style. I mean, if I was a fan, I think I would be okay with it. I don't think bob Bradley will be okay with it. He's clearly okay with it for now, but in the long term he wants his team to play like LAFC did in 2019. They just don't have the horses for it. Their ability to win the ball back and in central midfield is not great. They don't cover a ton of ground in terms of that frontline defense at bernardeschi does, but he's incredible, but the other two guys, even when they're fit, don't do a ton of lifting defensively. So they get pulled around really easily, which means they're kind of constantly retreating every time they don't have the ball, which is tough. They do have two good center backs, guys who can do work in the box.

"They're going to put more of the game at Thiago almada's fee. I think he's going to have a role with Atlanta that's similar to how we've seen Nikola Darrow play for the past almost decade in Seattle. And I think after a year of adjusting to the league with the kids obvious upside, yeah, he's the young player of the year, man. And he turns 22 in April. So officially, yes, still eligible. That's my pick. I think Tiago model is going to have a huge season. Coming off obviously sort of a pinch me make your life make your career make everything moment at the World Cup. But if you look at some of the underlying numbers last year, just in terms of shot creating actions, like ultimately that's what it's all about. You're trying to, from attacking perspective, whether it be via pass, the dribble, or receiving the ball and shooting it yourself. You're trying to create goal scoring opportunities. So I'm putting it all in on Tiago amada. So I have FC Dallas second in the west, I don't think Ferrer's numbers will be where they were last year. But I think the team will perform at that high level. And he will continue to be a central part of it. So that felt, I agree with everything you're saying on almada and I think they'll modest stuff will pop because the jump for Atlanta could be really large. But I think Jesus freya will be in the running pretty much to the end. I'm offended that no one here picked an 18 year old South American player that will not play into August. Because I can't believe you guys are that ridiculous, but I guess we could stick with names who play in MLS. Well, look, we all miss John Duran last year, so I don't think there's that guy this year, but Tom, maybe you have a list that you can read for us. I don't want to hit the buzzer. No, but because I'm going for young player of the year. But Jesus or Taos Magnum might be another show, but I think we'll talk about this. So I actually think talent magno is less likely to win it than his teammate, Gabby Pereira. I think Gabby Pereira on that right wing for NYC. Like that guy could end up being not just young player of the year, but best 11. You see? Do you see NYCFC Twitter folk? You've bullied us into giving Gabi Pereira has flowers. It's not really, we're pretty high. We put him top 5 wingers? Yeah, we did, we did. I was just trying to, you know, trying to lure them in, trying to draw them closer, put an arm around them and say thank you. Okay, 2222. That's you, Dave. Do we have overlap here in your mind? Maybe we can make this one quick. Not really, because most of the guys we set are on that they are 22 years old will be are all out of that in amata and Jesus Ferreira. I think Thomas bag knows the obvious one because he's a big signing he's a big name on a big team. He's going to play a huge role and obviously Doyle's love for Gabriel prayer goes in there. There's a couple other incorrect. What? Pereira is not eligible for 2222. And I don't care. I didn't have him on my list, so I was just trying to help you there.

"The second half of the year and we're not sure if it was the arrival of the Italians and the change of the game or if he just physically fell apart because he played pro soccer for 18 straight months. So I think this is a really good gamble for Dallas because I still want that DP spot to be either high level center back or more likely a high level D mid. And I think this gets them the goals they need without wasting that spot. I just want to make two real quick points on this. First of all, sylvania, I think comes in as the backup for K and to a lesser extent and obviously Toronto needed that. I still think sylvania's ceiling is if he learns to be a 6. And I think that with bob Bradley, who has a very good history of developing young players and playing under Michael Bradley, who's been a 6 for a long time and has a similar approach to the game because sylvania can spray to he could hit a lot of different passes. So I think that that's very good landing spot for him to potentially hit his upside. And as for Jimenez, I was not a big fan, but it was interesting to see Nico estevez quote after the deal was done. He was talking about saying, yeah, it's not necessarily just a backup for Jesus Ferreira. It's someone who could play with Jesus Ferreira. And I've said on the show a million times. I think Ferrera's ultimate landing spot as a player is in the juicy role. Is in like a sort of a ten sort of a second forward, a guy who creates, but doesn't get on the ball and orchestrate things necessarily. Not battling with center backs. This gives them the flexibility to test that out, especially if the midfield is as lacking in final third dynamism as it was last year. And can I just say the one thing from Dallas fans I've seen the feedback is like, well, you lost depth in central midfield, but you didn't, because sort of to what Doyle said in, the way these guys can play, he's as Ferreira as that's.

"Than it was last year. I would be shocked if they finished as low as they did, which is what all those numbers are. That with Carly seal and the team, and with the spin that they have on the boreas of Veronese, I mean, even the bows and the outdoors of the world. Josie is a whole lot, we can't even. I told you it's a train wreck, man. It's a train wreck. That center forward depth chart is a nutty right now. All right, let's get to our top 5s and hit the mail and get out of here. We're gonna chop these down a bit. Well, I'm gonna sign you left back because it felt like you had a pretty good idea where you were going with that one. Give me your top 5 left backs. We had Kai Wagner to start and then you had three guys order them. Okay, so you want the top 5 left backs in order. Yes. One through 5. I would probably go Kai Wagner, dewan Jones, Andrew Gutman, John Tolkien, then I think I would take Raheem Edwards. Which is tough because I'm leaving off DACA palacios. I'm leaving off. Marco, who had a really good year last year for Dallas and is just miles better defensively than Edwards or palacios, but what Raheem did last year for that galaxy attack while still holding up and being pretty decent defensively shouldn't be overlooked. So I think he's my, I think he's number 5 on my list. Adam one quist was in our short list, cardio bravo, Dan lovitz, as well, then there's a crop of new dudes, Colorado's got their Australian guy. We're just, you know, we're going generalities to start. Miami's got negri, D.C. went and got the Iraqi international from Scandinavia, Orlando got the Brazilian Santos, Brian Vera, one of three brians for RSL, but he's a Colombian with a big resume trout go in San Jose. We didn't see a ton of him last year, Peruvian international. He can't see a libel, Toronto got I'm just going to say another Italian and St. Louis it goes and gets Pedro Bosnian international as well. So some good talent coming in at left back. You like that? That was an example. He started. He started the show with moody and then he ended the show with that, which is like even more British than moody. You know what? I was really in my Wheelhouse there with that list. All right, not on top number 9s. The last Tati we lost books off our list last year. I made an executive decision and put chicharito number one and you guys. How much would you bet that he's even number one on the galaxy this year? I love chicharito. I had him best 11 last year, okay? I had him on the best 11 ahead of Jesus Ferreira ahead of Brenda Vasquez. If he's healthy, he is still that guy. But he's on it. Put it this way.

"I think we got to figure out, are we going to go to a loan strike or how are we going to handle the number 9 position? I'm all in on just doing a single center forward and allowing the speed and the midfield around us to kind of feed a guy that has a knack for putting the ball in the back of the goal. That's not necessarily burr halter style, but you know, that I would like to see that. We'll see. But like you mentioned here guys moving move in different places to get the potential moves of a few other folks. Pulisic, who needs minutes, as good as TAs, nobody's good on the bench. So he's got to find time and form to find that creativity and that spark that he has. He's going to get the same treatment in the World Cup that he gets in conflict or he's just getting beat up on. That level at any level, really, if you find the best players rag on them all game, right? So and I don't necessarily best player. He's the face of the team, and you know who I think is the best player. And I'm happy that he's back. And seems to be almost built to how he comes back from injuries is a crazy enough and but we'll see how it goes. I mean, EPL, some interesting fixtures already. He's mentoring student results already. I don't take any stock in the first month to be quite honest, you know, the craziest of crazies can happen right now. And that's fine. It's just the first month. I mean, it's just going to awkward year based on the World Cup and some other things. It's a warm for the work club in the winter time. We would be coming out of the World Cup right now or a few weeks ago, right? So I think it's just an interesting time people are steadily in and trying to find a groove and whatnot. And convince them out of the talent, the players playing and EPL that are going to go over the World Cup. So now you're going to see some funky results. I mean, you can't defend your team, though, right? Man, you. So, but again, the funky of the can happen. I'm not going to write it right off menu at this point. They'll be competitive at some point, but certainly need to make some maneuvers. They just seem sort of lifeless early on, but a lot of teams look a little flat. And then you get 9 a.m. come out really, really sharp in the first couple of weeks, like they kind of win the other night, but look really sharp, but can they continue on? And there's another lower table teams that will move their way up into the middle of pack and knock on the door for a while. But you're like most things cream will rise to the top, and we'll see the top 6, usually be about this top 6 this week, but right now. Yeah. Yeah, you said quite a bit there going from U.S. men's national team right into the Premier League. I'm going to go back to some of the things you said at the very beginning with the U.S. men's national team. And I think the biggest question the question that's going to be asked throughout the fall is who is going to be the number 9. I think right now there's 7 guys who are in the mix with Jesus Ferreira, pfas, even FC Cincinnati's Brandon Vasquez has been getting chatted off. He's had a fantastic season.
