"O a Hey, What's up, Lou? You baby. What's up? Talk to me about this election recall, um, I think yeah, well, the general election. His term ends next year. And so I just think they should just wait til next year, and the Republicans should totally kind of maturity. Hold on platform. Is your window down? I'm outside. Oh, I can compare. I'm catching every other word. Played for me now. Yeah. Okay. Start over. Start over. Yeah, I think this whole, uh, call election is kind of just say wait till next year and up here, the Republicans Give your platform um and run against Avenue from next year when his term ends. I don't think that's true and my opinion really worth All of that. Um, but what I really wanted to talk about you said the vision. In our politics. And, um, I've been following you heard of Jesse Ventura, Right? Yes. The former governor. Yep. Yep. Well. When he ran for governor of Minnesota. He spent $300,000 One governor as an independent. And he was like one of the only people and politics Braun and spend last To get the job and what you say so he paid more for the job except to get that job. And what he said. And I think they can wide. So many people are frustrated with our politics right now. You know the president. You know what? I'm sorry, my man. It's just not. It's not working. It's It's too much noise for me to to handle and I didn't I apologize. So next time call me from inside or go in your car or something. Um, so we've been talking about a lot of things that we do have numbers, and I'm getting all these text messages about No, Rick. No, Dave. No, Kathy, I'm going to move on that sort of thing. Folks. Let me tell you, Kay always been in business for over 100 years. Okay? And they don't just need jerk reaction. Do things all right? If you look at the overall station You know? We kick it off with April and Marty from 5 to 9. Then we're going to continue the news. Current event Talk with Ross Kaminsky, who's No. You know, rookie that hasn't ever done radio before. He's worked at our sister station K How for the last six years, and before that he was here on K away, So he's going to be nine to noon, Mandy Uh, owns the time slot from noon to three. Uh, she kills it, Uh, with her audience, She kills her with her topics She kills her with, uh, everything you can imagine. All right, so she's not going anywhere noon to three. And doesn't it make sense? Doesn't it make sense to bring on the iconic Dave Logan? Okay? Dave Logan to go back to where he always was and where he started. To hook up with a two time Super Bowl national champion who's got the gift of, uh, just You want to always be around him? Because every time he's on the air, it sounds like there's a party going on Alfred Williams. And have those to hook up. I'm just telling you, you've got to give it a chance. I know what, um I know. You know, I'm used to this. I'm used to that. But trust me. Trust me. You've got to give the people here on the blowtorch and opportunity and and and don't be negative. You haven't even heard what's going on. You know, Don't forget Rick Lewis and Kathie Lee have a radio show that's begins at six o'clock on one. Oh, 35 the fox every morning every morning. So Kathy leads not losing her job. Ricks been an icon since 1990 in this market. He's the co, uh, host of the, uh, Broncos broadcast Dave played by Bill play Guy Ricks, the color guy. I just think you guys are getting a little out of control and I'm tired of reading these texts. I mean, jeez. I mean, you think we were, you know? Going to, uh, first wave radio or something, you know? Think about this from three o'clock nine o'clock every single day, you're going to have the best sports in the market. With Logan and Alfred. Come on, come on, people. Give it a break. Get rid of me. Andy, please. Um So As we continue, and I'm here tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. So you better get used to your cousin Lou from Littleton, because I'm not going anywhere, either. So earlier today we talked about there was a uh some information coming out that there's some front runners too. The ownership of the Denver Broncos. If, in fact the Broncos hit the market in 2022. After what the team says will be quote an orderly determination of ownership. It could set the stage for possibly the biggest franchise sale. In US sports history. Now back in 1984 Pet bowl and paid an ungodly amount for the Denver Broncos. He paid $78 million And when he passed away in June of 2019, there were Uh, there were some Oh, disagreements amongst the family. And there was even a lawsuit that was supposed to start in July, but I think they Wanted to respect Um Pats legacy and they decided not to move forward. And that's all speculation. However, the $78 million investment that Pope Apple and made in 1984 Pat Bowlen and his brother and other Investors that Investment is now expected to be worth around $4 billion. Now the NFL states that if you're going to Own a team. You have to have 30% ownership of that team. And that is 30% of $4 billion, which would be $1.2 billion of my math is right. Not a lot of people, maybe grant Have 1.2 billion John Elway doesn't have 1.2 billion. Peyton Manning doesn't have 1.2 billion Jeff Bezos has 1.2 building billion and he's one of the front runners. He's the richest man in the world. Any remains interested in an NFL ownership. The other person that has come to the forefront. Is Jay Z. He's the hip hop's first billionaire, but he would need partners to purchase the Broncos because he's only worth about $1.4 billion. So you need to have 1.4 or 1.2 to participate in this Itself. It should be interesting to see what happens with Jeff Bezos, who I think from day one is the odds on favorite if if the Broncos cell He's the one I think will own the Denver Broncos. Jeff Bezos. Now to me, I kind of like that. Because I think he has a opportunity. Two. Never have to.

Ross Kaminsky Jeff Bezos John Elway Pat Bowlen Jesse Ventura Rick Lewis Kathie Lee Logan Jay Z. $300,000 June of 2019 Dave Logan $1.2 billion Alfred 2022 July Andy 1.2 billion tomorrow Kathy

Legendary design icon. Bunny williams. what are you waiting for it. There's no other way to build this up. It's bunny williams. After eight years doing this podcast and many years prior doing interviews for playboy. I don't get starstruck to the contrary. Actually while hosting the playboy radio interview for playboy. I spoke with actors like henry. Winkler bands like dirty heads and drive by truckers. Strong personalities like tom. Sizemore governor jesse ventura artists and artisans alike. And i always challenged myself to go beyond what you already know and bring you new ideas. That's not always easy sometimes. Interview guests are focused on quote unquote talking points. They want to stick to the hits. The showroom is an interview series in partnership with walker zinger. We're in our second year of the series and it has been an absolute joy working with walker zinger and the guests who appear on the podcast. Like the one. "That has never told me what to say. I write all my own words and that type of thing does not exist in our corporate media landscape. It is not a thing and there are career. Correct graveyards filled with people or their careers filled with People who who spoke out even once they achieved great fame. People like phil donahue jesse ventura. You know they get up to a point and they are hugely well-known hugely famous yours successful and they started speaking out against war and msnbc wherever you know what you're not you're not right for us. So that's that's my rant on that someone in the chair reminded me that you are a direct descendant of robert e lee and i'm curious about how that history has played a role in your life. I'm sure it's something that at some point you. You took some time in trace this stuff back. Wanted to understand more. And i'm curious as to what did you find yours in history. Yeah my father's side i am. It's kind of All the american colonists it is you know we have nellie washington's hand town nellie was washington's niece we have her hand talent they actually signed it back then because these were fine. Nice hand house that were expensive for the time. So it's got her signature on it and it's framed in our house and Yeah descended from john. Marshall supreme court justice robert e lee and then also probably the most important one is descended directly from walter camp who basically. He's called the godfather of american football. He invented american football. So that's the really important one the others you not forget them but so yeah it. It is kind of crazy and In in some regards. I i grew up in combination washington. Dc and then. We moved to richmond. Virginia the capital of the confederacy. And i was like twelve years old before. I fat before anyone bother to tell me that the south of lost the war. I knew about the civil war. I knew i was named after robert e labor and i thought well named after a loser so we must have one but yeah it's you know it's kinda crazy in that regard but i'd like to think not maybe not with robert lee you know but fighting for owning slaves but With the others. I'd like to think that the navy there was some voice in their head. That knows that the most patriotic thing you can do is speak out for the truth. Is paul. America had to account for our current sins and our passions and try and make people informed and and i hope there would be a piece of them that would see that as The best thing you can do in a country like it is today even though they could never imagine What insanity we'd involved in So you know and maybe some people can say my lineages contradictory. But i you know. I've never really viewed it that way..

It was very late at night. I was watching by myself because my my child had deemed it inappropriate and scary for him to watch it by myself. I rarely watch movies as tired as i was when i watched Mitchell versus machines. I usually quite awake. Or i try to drink coffee for and that's not a lot but it was the week i got back into. "Was there the good news is that it was recessive to the time that mitt romney orion john not fanning those flames engaging in that kind of demagoguery but it was there was building up the second term president obama. I think turns out. In retrospect i hadn't quite seen it at the time. Gotta say people really want a little off the deep end and that of course trump in twenty six at all came together. I personally don't believe that unless you come to grips with trump especially the big live at the election but in general the demagogry the mean-spiritedness database of unless people say no to that doesn't mean they have to grovel at apologized for weeks on end doesn't mean the after even say they were wrong necessarily to vote for him once or twice they can rationalize that with some of the things they think that happened. There were okay. They need to come to grips with with what happened. Was recent republican president. Trump wasn't just like another random set largely jalen greens senator Member of congress or random governor somewhere. There's a little embarrassing. He was the republican president united states supported by the republican party at the national level in a very strong and almost uniform way. Well he didn't start that way back in two thousand fifteen. He was the laughing stock of the republican party. One can write a scenario trump. Lindsay wins denomination. Sort of fluky twenty. Sixteen you know love divided field the a couple of issues a beats hillary clinton the general election. Because she's not such a strong candidate want change and so forth against lucky intellectual college. The russians helping you can write a scenario where the republicans who control both senate and house standing up to trump. They refused to go along with certain things he wants to do. They make clear that he's president. Obviously they respect that but they are gonna make up their own minds about issues and you can write a scenario where members of his cabinet really stand up to him and not just a few of them in those few. Don't just pushed aside. And where the republican electron course doesn't seem to have an insatiable appetite for trump's demagoguery. But that's not the scenario that happened in history for me. Enabling of trump by the republican party is almost as important destruct themselves you could have had trump was kind of a one term sort of presidents sort of a fluke sort of embarrassing frankly to damage. But you know kind of like Unfair probably jesse ventura or something has governor of minnesota schwarzenegger. I think it's unfair to shore snake series. I you know. Scharzenegger gives fun term. One after governor. You know life goes on afterwards. You could have imagined that with job. But that would have required republicans on the hill not to sort of go down the path of emulating in and enabling him and imitating him and once that starts to happen. What's the whole party became. Trump's party that everything got deeper. Everything sunk deeper. The damage was more serious for people who haven't been deeply involved in politics but even for those who have how did it progress. That trump ran is an outside candidate with no real support from the rnc. Then he gets the party nomination at which point you begin to work with aaron c. Was very much a big fundraiser. But how did it go from this outside candidate to him. Really taking over the republican party. Does that happen. What were the steps. That sort of got the party there. Trump is clever..

They didn't by fox previews gray untreated rights. I mean yeah. I mean they let. Hbo have new mutants at the moment. So you know charlotte. How wonderful indian. Well they're like. I don't know man you know you've got this awesome and this jet someone you deal with some of this stuff will have you and some of this stuff might have value a few years down the road they may bring. I mean you know the thing. Is that things like the predator are not really that unique of a concept in general hillary down. So bad too though. That's all that other stuff. So yeah because forth worth that's like my. I am at once intrigued and horrified by legendary. Making a toxic avenger film because it is like. I don't know if you know what toxic avenger is but budget wasn't the problem you know. We're not we're not. I don't know if budget is gonna make if we only had more money. Imagine toxic avenger would be like if we had more money. It's like when they say when they did the digitally remastered hardware wars. And like you know we can remove the strings from the shot if you want us to. We know we shot it to show this trains because it's cheap. That's the gag. Oh my god ray literally will podcast about anything russell. Taking ray and him. We're going to do a quarterly podcast on predator. But it's on hold now till the lawsuit click so rare literally will pass. If you if you have any topic seriously contact ray. He will okay but the thing is on the predator. Stuff's out there. You can still podcast predator. No one's stopping you. How much you. But how much material in the predictions of what's coming what's new what's going on if you just tied up in a lawsuit with you. Take ten fifteen years. Sometimes i don't think it's a consistent universe with with with strong cannon. I'm just going to help one. Some aliens Senators and those. Both those franchises are completely different. Universes that completely different points in time. Okay but this is my point. It's i mean. I mean it is what it is. You're planning to give you shackled. Gulford that that. That's pretty much the gist. That bigger and everything. I will say is i think that predators and aliens go very well together. Fine tristan i get the feeling that there's that yes i think that. The kissing demographic a demographic and the facts metres i think any individual item by themselves gets less and less attractive to what core audience detracted you. I mean that's what you're doing for continues to success the kids. I mean you know you get. The tristan can be get another decade or two out of it right now. He's into attack on titan. So you know that's the thing is comes to body horror frightening nece. There's a lot out there and you know if you're gonna and that's the thing if you're going to throw a whole hissy fit about disney only predator and they say well we're not gonna do then. Okay here's ten more tech titans and everyone forgets about predator. It's like avatar. It's like if you're not in the business of making it. People are going to fall away from it and you know these writers kinda hurt themselves in that way by. I don't know what trying to renegotiate. After the fact because whatever was in their contract is worth. I get the feeling disney reads these contracts very carefully and yes they are looking to pay as little as possible. But i get the feeling every argument they have will stand up in court because they hired lawyers expressly for that purpose. They don't stop cutting checks until they know they're not going to get penalties on those checks because those penalties do rack up racking up just just an opinion. Just just completely unfounded opinion. But i get the feeling that disney doesn't pick these fights unless they know they're gonna win know way to say they haven't lost a lot of these fights mean the best won't they have the best legal The best lawyers m for what. It's worth a lot of people. Do like to sue disney. Just because that's where the money that's you know. Wait did i did i did i. Did i flying something. He said they were going to do the predator series for marvel in the dark lord that marvel had a predator series. I wasn't predators. Walked rental ought places the core stuff they did like you know predator vs superman predator vs batman and stuff. But i don't remember them arrival though i mean marvel isn't the only place twins star wars comics right now. I mean they're still letting other people do comics spam. And you know maybe my said you know it's not going to be worth it to go into it because for it's worth there's already other people that are doing predator comics is other lore. It's sort of like every time they wanted when another company takes over gi. Joe and it's not larry hammer and that's a whole other set of lauren whole other set of concepts. And now you know. Snake eyes wasn't in vietnam. You know. all these things happen and didn't have his face melted off. And you know. And it's it's a little harder for people when you have these different parallel realities you know. Obviously you sat hard for the really hard core who've been following every single iteration but if you come in from one iteration another wait. No that's not right as the wanna pay jesse ventura royalties o. I think royalties. I absolutely pay jesse ventura to come back in reprisal except i think he died did it only jesse mentor meted out of there the move again. Yeah yeah no. I can't remember what his character's name was. I know is that he said he was sexual tyrannosaurus. And they say of this up your soros. So there's dropping there's a drought anyway central way. Yeah so that's that's that you know. I mean i support writers rights. But it's like yeah but you also have to recognize where your rights end and we're another storytellers right so beginning. I'm because that's really the thing the whole other now but again. It's like the brubaker stuff. It's like bucky already. Pre you know pre existing character. It's like we look at barlinnie created thanos. I don't think he's getting anything for those movies. Credit we get credit cities brubaker. A credit in them. In the to get what i think is twenty is that he's getting something. Just not very much yeah. Ns because the royal branch. You don't wanna get man. I mean that's the thing. Matthew McConaughey Says He's Considering Running For Governor Of Texas

"It is possible. He responded to the question about whether he would run for governor by saying it's a real consideration. Bernie, What do you think of the idea? Of Matthew Makani running for president. Well sided, are you? Well, I enjoyed interviewing Kinky Friedman when he was running. You know, When I hear this, I knew this was inevitable. I don't think you'll actually run. But I feel like after Trump became president. Now It's everybody longer. Yeah, Anybody can do it. The mystery is gone. Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes governor of California, Jesse Ventura of Minnesota. So, Yeah. Why not? Matthew McConaughey. What the hell? Governor that the good thing in Texas the governor. Power in Texas is with the Lieutenant governor, not the governor. Actually, we have kind of Ah, weak Governor system in the state of Texas. So you could be governor here. No big deal just where the where the costume and Where the hat and everything's good. It's a good gig if you can get it. That's right. $150,000 for not doing too much of anything unless there's some kind of crisis than everybody because nobody knows how their own state government works. Everybody starts looking to you and saying Well, you're the leader lead us out of this. And they don't matter what you do. It's not good enough. They

"Ancient stone circle in Wales and supports the theory that the monument was dismantled there and then dragged over 140 miles to Welcher, England's Okay. I'm sorry, but that is incredible. Stonehenge was moved. 140 Miles. How and also why? What was the difference between a field in Wales? In a field in England in prehistoric times. No one was like the schools are much better there. Plus, there are so many good restaurants you can walk to. Um Yeah, one of the great mysteries they now know that Stonehenge was moved 100 some miles. Somebody's gonna go with taxes could be just got high in Wales. I'm taking my stone circle and leaving. Um, How you doing? Impeachments over, Trump acquitted again. That's the end of that. Nancy Pelosi wants to get a commission going to study it. I don't know if that will happen around Well, she wants the study. What happened at the Capitol, A 9 11 style commission. It just depends on who's who's on it. She says. It will be an independent commission. I don't mind that idea. Sure. I have a feeling it will turn out to be not nonpartisan, not independent and not reliable, But I'm a cynical man. A majority of Republicans think a third party is needed. That's pretty interesting. Stay tuned for that. Wow. Remember Governor wrestler Jesse Ventura? Uh, he was the governor of Minnesota. He was a famous wrestler and kind of an actor. Anyway, he says. It's now time for a maximum wage. Forget the minimum wage. We need a maximum wage. $12 million A year is enough for anyone says the former governor wants to cap it at that. Come on. If you can't live an actor if you can't live on a million dollars a month. He says, Uh what was his big hit? The shiny movie predator had to future governors in it, and I will not stand for this disrespect. It's true to future governors. Yes. Arnold and Jesse Ventura. Yeah, both of them Boneheads as it turns out. Stop whining speaking, Michael, If I ever get tired of our Arnold clips, I will let you know. So Speaking of wages, this is such an interesting tidbit from history. From Jeffrey Tucker. He's with the Basti at society, free markets free people. These rights, always talking about $15 national minimum wage prompted which is a terrible, terrible, terrible idea for a number of reasons we get this great note. That's right now we've got this great note from from Ted. Did the architect who pointed out I I in particular, have said over and over again that That a $15 minimum wage would mean it's illegal to employ anybody who cannot bring $15 worth of value per hour to your business. And that excludes maybe, you know, poor people. Teenagers, some immigrants, the rest of it, your outlawing those people. But he said, Wait a minute, fellas. And I know you know this, in essence. It costs a hell of a lot more than $15 a Knauer. To employ somebody at $15 per hour, and the small business Administration points out that it costs somewhere between 1.2 and 1.4 almost 1.5 times your wage. To employ you after her benefits. If there are any payroll taxes, unemployment taxes, there's a fee for every higher paid to the government. They're huge tax burden. The government taxes employers for hiring somebody. So anyway. Yeah, it could be 1.4 times your wage, You have to bring that much value. Even have your employer break even on you fogging their particular mirrors. If I may, you know, abused the metaphor so anyway. Let's see, Jeff writes. All this talk about the $15 national minimum wage caused him to go back to some historical economics screens and books and that sort of thing and one, you know, Touchstone of economics in the progressive era. Principles of economics by Frank W. Tossing in 1917. There's one section, he writes, where he really goes off the rails. He's discussing labor policy and compulsory minimum wage rates. There wasn't one at the time that didn't have until 1933. But this is 1917 the height of the progressive era. Uh, you know, you're You're, uh, What's his name? Woodrow Roosevelt. It was big Woodrow Wilson was was the president everything as he plainly states. The purpose of the law is to regulate the plane of competition so that one no one could undersell others by cutting below the established great. And workers whose productivity fell below the minimum would simply be excluded. It would be impossible to compel employers to pay the minimum to those services who are not worth it. This is intentional. Some people are unemployable, he says. For example, those who are helpless cases irremediable do the old age infirmity, disabling accident, alcoholism. Criminals. Tramps this, Clarence says, right this class. No one Frank when you see him because they're stamped, right, right. This classy opines must be stamped out and should not be allowed to breed. This is all about eugenics. The minimum wage is established to make it so you wouldn't hire people. That weren't worth much because he wanted them out of society, right? Wow. Right? Certainly not only our society but not allowed to breed. At least they could be segregated. Shut up in refuges in asylums. You have a tramp breed with are a remedial. You don't know what you're gonna end up with with a kid. They could be shut up in refuges in asylums and prevented from propagating their kind. There are tool to achieve the goal of the early progressives, which is eugenics building some sort of master race. The power of laws must be very strong. Indeed, he writes, and very rigidly exercised in order to prevent the making of bargains, which are welcome to both bargainers. Chilling welcome to the world, the world of Progressive era economics as informed by eugenics. That's really wild away. But there's more. He was hardly alone. In his view. Princeton University's Royal Meeker, who is Woodrow Wilson's commissioner of labor, he agreed, quote. It is much better to enact a minimum wage law even if it deprives these unfortunates of work better that the state should support the inefficient holy and prevent the multiplication of the braid. And subsidize incompetence and on thrift, enabling them to bring forth more of their kind, in other words, while the great liberal icons I did not like the lower classes right?.

You know you got the Internet, so it's really easy to confirm things. Yeah, I mean, we've got All the information in the world at our fingertips. But if you get something that you have, Ah, you already kind of believe you go. I'm not going to research that. I believe that. I know what we should do, Alex. We should get Governor Jesse Ventura back on. We haven't had him on in a long time. And he of the body. Yeah, and he Um He's really Hey wrote a couple books of conspiracy theories battle. It was last 2012 looking at conspiracy there, he would just adventure. They had a TV show. He was the star of the TV show. He's a character and I think I think he just Loves tweaking people. So conspiracy theories. Are kind of fun until they get dangerous, But so this Marjorie Tender green thing. Still have some of the floor the microphone on the floor. What's going on there or we listen to what's going what's happening on this debate in the last two weeks? Democrats have taken just two votes. One today. The one last night last month on a waiver for a Cabinet member. This is the least productive Congress since last year. Oh, well. Well, that's because obviously, there's Kevin McCarthy. S o. They're They're having their debate on the floor. Okay? Yeah. No. There you go. Right now. Right now for that. That's what's going on. That's what they're working on in Washington, D C right now. Ari Fleischer. George W. Is press secretary. Says politicians need to stop going after each other and work. On things for you. And May I think last night was a real important pivot point for House Republicans, You know, why are they focusing on each other? Why are they trying to go after Liz Cheney's job? Or Loretta? I'm sorry, Marjorie Taylor Green's job when they should be going after Nancy Pelosi's job and Joe Biden's job. The fact that Republicans successfully dealt with these issues last night should now allow them to concentrate on what's most important American people, which is who's going to control the house. Who's going to control the Senate? The White House so you can have jobs you can protect blue collar workers. Only after each other is never going to work. Yeah. That's what they're doing. He goes on to talk about. There is no Minority party that can be successful when you don't work together. That's why last night was such an important pivot moment for House Republicans, and I really think you also have to give tremendous credit toe Congressman McCarthy, the Republican leader, he was able to ride these turbulent waters and to do so successfully in a way that maintained party unity. And that's vital Republicans will never be successful. No minority party can ever be successful if they only aim at each other instead of a much bigger, more important things. Well, um I like Ari, but I disagree with them. I think Kevin McCarthy should have Sort of been a leader and just manages. He's not a manager. I'm convinced he's not a manager. He should have been able to manage is he should have been able Todos whatever he was going to do and come down with with his. His ruling is the leader of the Republican Party in the House. But instead he's turned it now into a fiasco on the floor of the House of Representatives. And, um Well, I look good for Kevin McCarthy. He's in charge. He can figure out what what's gonna happen. There are enough, John Bresnahan. Um got, 11 says. When it comes to the party. He said. He's taking the same position. I am. The Republican Party is still being led by Donald J. Trump. But secular says this is still the party of Trump Here. You talk about a big tent. I mean, Kevin McCarthy was jammed with Donald Trump. Last week he was down at Mar a Lago visiting Trump down there. I mean, we had that. You know, the hours after the January 6th attack, you still had a heart of 40. Republicans Vote not deserted by Joe Bynes presidential victory. So Yeah, there's you know Cheney survive this, But there's new question about Hiss. This is still the party of Trump. I was talking to a Republican congressman yesterday. Who wants to run for Senate? And the first thing this guy said to me was you know who's gonna get the trump endorsement? There's you know, their establishment Lane is there are troubling. That's where this party is. So I mean, you know this genie Genie survived this. Yes with cards he's helped There's new question that Donald Trump still is the most powerful and most influential member of the Republican Party. Yeah, and and that will stay that way until they get another. Nominee for president, so that's probably complicated is away after the 2022 election. Then you'll start seeing the Republicans who want to run in 2024 starting to come. Together to start having debates and the you'll find somebody else to be the leader. I think Ah, Anthony in Reno, Nevada. Thank you for waiting. Anthony. Welcome. You're on the Tom Sullivan show. Yeah, thanks for the TVR is time. I really appreciate it. Tommy Gun. I got to talk back at, you know. I think Biden might be a shapeshifter. I'm just kidding. Totally kidding. Look and people There are people that are gonna go. I heard it. I heard it. I heard it on Tom's elements. I know, I know. But you should feel, man. Here's the deal. You know the right. I don't know if they get a lot of attention with the conspiracies and the religious people of the left is using PC in the race, pandering hustling. So divisively and we, the citizens were the ones just lapping it up and keeping us divided. I wonder did this work like this and went home when it was burning and fallen? Probably here's the deal. You know, with with green, I tell you what, Um, She's just working for the D C circuit back there. Come on, You know the deal. It's just a matter of who. It's who's heading it up. And who's Who's buying for the most face time on TV and most camera time? You know, I think politicians I don't want to generalize because then I'm joined in the crowd, but Mind bending. It's the modus operandi is back there. Just listen to China. Joe Lion Biden or I should say Bidding Biden. You know, and and his press secretary. That Jin past Takasaki? Yeah. Um, you know, come on, you know, I tell you what, they're all pathological back there. There are many other one of generalized There are many back there who are pathological and seems like, yeah, that's what's breeze to the leadership in our society. Both political women. Why do you think? Why do you think I continually from my heart? Tell you I have no use for either party. I really don't. Well, I agree with you, But here's the deal, though. I mean, you know, that's why there was that peaceful protest back there in January, 6 and there is a few insert. You know, people back there who they were conspirators who gave those protesters a bad name and And now it's all roped off for not roped off its fat stop. I mean, it looks like career back there. Joke. Yeah, The problem is it wasn't it? What?.

"You know, what we've got is only in the moment they get it right later. They're not because they hate him so much. That dude was a hero and a patriot and God loving man. A totally great don't you agree? That was awesome. A woman rob a woman, All right, we're gonna close with. I wouldn't want to play this audio the past couple days, and it's one of my all time favorite political interviews ever. It's not with Trump, but I think it's totally applies to trump and sums up what Trump was up against. And what is going on in Washington now because it's not a Democrat or Republican thing. It's an us versus them thing. And look, I know this guy's a lot of people consider him a squirrel, but I think he's a fascinating figure in American political history. That's Jesse Ventura, former governor of Minnesota. He was a Navy seal these professional wrestler. I mean, the guy's just just a fascinating guy and He did a until you years ago. I think this was 2015 with a guy named Grant Benzinger, and it was about his life and they went through the whole thing and it's on YouTube. You can see it. It's It's incredible tonight all time favorite political interviews and He talks to him about. It's about whether winter would ever run for president and what he would do and what he's up against. And it totally. It was before Trump. This interview was before Trump, but it totally applied to what Trump was up against. And it's the most perfect way. I can think to end this thing today and sum up what Trump tried to take on the past couple years. Take a listen. In order, so I include them is them. I don't distinguish between the two parties because there is no difference after you were both owned by the same corporate ownership. In other words, if you go to sports, if you bet on both teams in the Super Bowl, you're not gonna lose. Are you Well, if you own both candidates, you're not gonna lose. Are you Well, and that's why you've said you wish politicians would have to work NASCAR type suits with the logo. Yeah, I wish they'd require anyone running for president to wear a mask Our shoot with patches dictating who owns them? I mean, it's simple. When you see Jimmy Johnson, what do you see Lows. Red prom that he's got all those others smaller patches around it. Well, if Jesse Ventura runs for president, there won't be a patch on the suit. It'll be clear White. I imagine some of my opponents wouldn't have enough shoot to put the patches on. They may have to have a subordinate wear one, too, so they could get all the patches on. How much do you fault the candidates for that? And how much do you fault just the system. I thought the Democrats and Republicans in the system they've created. You notice? I don't even discuss the candidates didn't do that. When I went for governor, either I run against the parties because the candidates are nothing but puppets to the party. The party's got the strings there. The puppets. Hmm. Wow, this trump suit. Was clear. White Mm. And Thank you for doing that President Trump. Thank you for your sacrifice. And there's only one fitting way to go out today and It's Donald Trump talking about Rob Kendall. Well, I really appreciate how nice you are and you know, get terrific. I wish I could ever everything for you Just like this. Okay? That would be that would be a great dream. But you really you know what's happening? You know what's happening. In fact, I told you guys come in anytime you want, but it's not their fault that they're scared because they don't realize these are fake people. You know that? That's the thing when when everybody was being pressured last year, toe stop advertising on Tucker Carlson, the one guy who stood by him or one of the very few and the main guy who stood by him because if you watch Tucker Carlson back then all you would see when they went to a break was my pillow adds. You got tired of him after a while, even though you like the fact that he was supporting Tucker Carlson. I mean, he's not afraid to stand up for this. It for himself. You. I think he wants to run for governor of Minnesota in 2022. I don't know how we do was Trump in spite of the destruction of the state by Tim Walz in the rioters in Minneapolis ST Paul, he Trump still lost the state and I think you probably lost it legitimately. I would. I would love to see Michael in Dallas. The would be a much better governor than Jesse Ventura was that's for sure. And he's a very decent guy. And you know the thing is to as as you know, from his ads. Those pillows are made in the United States. So what have colds and bed bath and beyond that? It's here in its final days. "And Every episode of conspiracy theories with Jesse Ventura, uh, that you did on I just when you say that the media is referring to The group that was attacking the capital as terrorists and kind of a light handed manner. I What else would you refer to that group that was Well, Trump Marga and Chief for clients. Ellen plans whatever it might have been. That is a federal facility is a federal facility where we are in this Navy base, right? But using the term terrorist using the term terrorist is a magic word, especially when you want to bring forward. Your domestic terrorism bill, which is what exactly is going to go through, probably in February or March with the new president elect. What else? One of the terms of the media's is what other term gonna use? Well, they could call him demonstrators. They could call them. Ah, Group of people. The demonstration were violent and committed crimes call, Um, terrorists is is a big word. That's a big word to call them. They could call them political dissenters. They could have called them combatants. They could have called him a number of things. Calling them terrorists is a very, very, very big word because terrorism Basically indicates ideological differences and basically doing terror in order to change the political outcome, which by the definition is kind of terrorism, But in a way, you know they they were they were, but no, let me finish they were doing what is known is a Democratic security check. That is that is a term that they were becoming they were doing a welfare check. On the election and a group of the people that were there with them got out of hand and did what they did. So they weren't all terrorists. So called them all terrorists is what I mean by that. There are people I know who went there for the valley and storm the capital. Right? Well, you know, And this is the thing with Trump. But see, this is the thing that Brent is that while yes if they were there, and they did exactly what they could have gotten a lot worse. Of course, If they were there, they would have succeeded. In overturning the vote or whatever they did, and they did. So by killing people doing capitation. Every exercise. I would say yes. Then we're we're basically black and white terrorists right there. We're in is iffy territory. We're a group of individuals were there They were storming the Capitol. They were demonstrating they didn't kill anybody. Except for you know, people in the melee that may have died of heart attacks or police officers that had died and even a leash. Uh, Alicia Babbitt was shot. These are things that are happening, so yes, it was. It was. It was certainly something that is in that in that terrorist periphery. But don't think calling them terrorists. I think there were enemy. They were there, not enemy combatants. They were combatants are belligerent combatants that probably, you know, things got out of hand. I wouldn't call them terrorists. So do you feel that determines him? Amusement by the majority of the mainstream NASA? No outlets. You know they're they're using or now they're using it because and you can mean you disagree with me and you disagree with me that I'm just saying they're using the word domestic terrorists. Because I know that what they're going to do that they're going to push a bill that was first proposed right after the election By Joe Biden. What is known as the domestic terrorism bill, which basically Will finger and look at people with ideological differences and will declare them domestic terrorists. Just one final thing, then so is the recipients of the Democratic Party that is expecting to move into the presidency on in the media. Well, the media's the media's using the term Joe Biden used the term. In fact, it even trended on Twitter. Donald Trump is a domestic terrorist hash tag. Donald Trump's domestic terrorists. So they're already using that magic word to already nailed the ideological differences of what would be considered well, Trumpism. I don't know if it's all conservatives, but certainly they're silencing a lot of conservatives again. So I don't know exactly what the outcome's gonna be. But the buzz word is terrorist. And it's being used in order to get people ready for that. Terrorism bills could be like another, uh, Patriot Act. In fact, if you Look at Joe Biden, he says he had a hand in creating the Patriot Act. And so once again, he has He has impetus to create something like the domestic terrorism building is going to probably push through, and it's going to be some sweeping Executive orders. I'm sure they're gonna be happening because they certainly want to remedy what they feel is ailing the country which would be trumpism. Well and honestly, it entire career has been the master of semantics when it comes to labeling people, whether it's you know, sleeping Well, yeah, sure. These air things. Yes, These are things that he's done that I didn't approve of either. But what I'm trying to say is you're looking at a guy. Who tried to be president who kept us out of war for four years. But now we've ended in this in this way. But what gets me is the gas lighting this going on the media? Where for, like Months of the summer. We were watching cities.

"Kelly Clarkson Trace Adkins asked listeners and part of our halftime show the FedEx Orange ball. Wow. Now that is not the first time that Ashley Simpson has butchered a performance. Remember, she went on Saturday night live and I believe Jude Law was the host, and he introduces Ashlee Simpson. The younger sister of Jessica Simpson, and she's ready to perform her hit song, but it's totally going to be a lips sing, but the vocals track starts to play starts to skip and she freezes up does like a hoedown dance and walks off the stage. Take a Listen. You're going to hear the vocal track. Begin way too early. And she never says a word Once again, Ashlee Simpson. On a Monday way She does a little ho dance and Dances off the stage. All right, so 16 years ago, the booing at the Orange Bowl again, Speaking of college Bowl games, congratulations, the ball state. Fighting Cardinals of Ball State won the first bowl game in their school history by knocking off unbeaten San Jose. And not so much for Indiana and Notre Dame over the weekend. Notre Dame a game that We kind of figured they have a hard time with against Alabama. You know, the Golden Dome, Ear's against the mobile homers and mobile homers again took him to the Wood shed, although Notre Dame did cover Indiana, though, if you're going to run all that trash talk if you're going to run your mouth about being in the lower tier bowl game You gotta beat up pretty bad old Miss team. But all in all, pretty solid year for the Hoosiers on this date 47 years ago, 1974. President Nixon refused to hand over the tape recordings and documents subpoenaed by the Senate Watergate committee. That was 47 years ago. And every single year since then, Carl Bernstein has said, this is bigger than Watergate. Whatever the big scandal of the moment wants, a squirrel could fart outside of my house and Carl Bernstein right now would say this is bigger than Watergate. Look out. That was 47 years ago and 22 years ago. 1999 Jesse the body Ventura. Was sworn in as Minnesota's 37th governor. Did four years until 2000 and three. Here's the thing about Jesse. He was calling out the media before it was cool. Jesse Ventura was yelling fake news long before Donald Trump wants Listen to this little back and forth. He did on the Larry King show. It was just even tour. It was Oliver Stone. It was I believe representative Connie Mack. They're having a big discussion. And listen to Jesse Ventura giving the media a bunch of crap before It kind of became mainstream. Because the key to Oliver's film is not Hugo Chavez. The key to this film is the lying manipulation of our mainstream media and how they flagrantly lied to us, and I'm a person that knows the experience. Well, he's seeing an independent. You tell me what happened all of our meat this type of when How about when our media used to be the fourth branch of government are media was there to be the check of watching the other three? But our media today mainstream is not that Larry. They are bought and sold. I'll give you samples when I was an independent governor in Minnesota. I wrote at my autobiography When I got in office, the mainstream media accused me of profiteering. From winning that office. Wait. Two months later, John McCain comes through on a book tour and they herald his book. And yet because I don't belong to these two parties, I chastised Yelling at the media. Given the media the business before it was mainstream before it was popular before it was cool. Jesse.
