"Culture. Say everybody by american culture as it is yeah is has been steeped in diet culture since i was born and it's been steeped in a lot of different destructive things that we have to kind of unlearn and so. I think it's really awesome when people right in with questions about these things really important to talk about them and to to like consider and listen to one. Another and nudge things into awareness. Positive directions awesome. Yeah carry cardi last last question that we have one Married this gopher. My boyfriend loves outdoor activities surfing mountain biking climbing skiing etc and has been doing them practically since he was born. I on the other hand much less experienced and take sports less seriously than he does. Because we both love the outdoors. We like to go surfing or biking together. But i'm always the one holding us back because of fear or lack of skill or biological disadvantages. Thanks double x chromosomes. We decided to take windsurfing up together but after just a couple of hours he has already excelling while. I am on a more standard learning curve. How do i manage my resentment over his athletic abilities. I love to watch him. Have fun and succeed. But it's made much harder. When i get trapped in a comparison game i find myself beating myself up much more when we do things together. Which is something. I work really hard to avoid. In general i would appreciate any recommendations on how to let go of the feelings that i know are not serving me and do not represent my values but still have a strong hold on me. I can start with one thing while you're thinking which is just that general idea of like. How do i manage my resentment over his athletic abilities. I could insert that. How do i manage my resentment over the hundreds of random dudes that are better than me on every segment that i try my hardest on that. They are like not in the same athletic class than i am comparatively and that's that's a challenge. I think that's a challenge of being a female bodied person in general is that you often do find yourself behind physically and it's hard not to feel bad about that so i've i've had to work with some of these things to and i've also been on the other side of the exercising with friends that are like your freak of nature and everything you do learn really fast and you're really good at and it makes me feel bad but actually totally normal. I mean th this person will like. I'm totally normal but around you. I feel like..

"Very very low flexibility huge problem especially in endurance sports for sure and it's framed as dedication but really i definitely extremely damaging but with superfood. I personally feel like that. One is not as as cut and dry cleaning. I feel like in just in my lived experience. There are foods that i eat that. Make me feel better. And their foods that i eat that make me feel worse and that there is a big industry around using artificial things to make food's taste exceptional that in a way that makes them taste better even than foods the way they come in their natural form and i appreciate the idea of kind of rebranding foods as they naturally come as being inherently powerful right and that there was a trend all through most of my twenties of something that you just buy at. The grocery store isn't good enough. It needs to be enhanced somehow right right by external measures right and so. That's how i think of a superfood. I think of like. Wow look at this apple it is beautiful as it comes which to me is a very affirming message layup. You are very beautiful as you come. You don't need to be made any different right right. But i'm certainly open to more interpretations of that. And i am definitely not denying that the term superfood has been used in ways that contribute to dire culture by by people. Yeah i think that this is. This is one of those like really interesting challenges. That happens when you have two brands like kind of coming together. You know and i will say is that i think that there's you know the the like i said like i said at the beginning of this show. The brand value. Overlap between the two brands is really strong. You know so. There's a lot of shared values there. There's definitely some nuance differences between some of the ways that we present our values and some of the way that they present. There's and this is one of the places where i feel like. There's a real opportunity for us. As the founders of picky bars and for picky bars as the brand and as a product philosophy to impact Laird superfood positively. And so that doesn't mean that we'll do everything our way you know. There's there's both sides need to you know kinda come together. Yeah but i think there's i think there's opportunity there and i'm excited about going through all those conversations with them the people that have been really good so i feel confident in saying that the people behind lord superfood dot are not interested in causing harm absolutely and and not interested in. Yeah in in like no. Their intention is to create healthy balanced. Like you know healthy balanced people just laid humans brands little brands just like humans are only know what they know through the experiences. They've had people. They've talked to in the things they've read and all those things and so i leave the only to be for the only reason i know anything about the clean eating thing. Being having a negative association with it is from lauren. And that's really like pretty recently. You know for people to frame that as a positive some intentionally when people use that term. It's not always intended to young negative but intent and impacter thing i do. I think just circling back on that. I think the intention behind the two brands is the same. And that's what makes me feel really good about it. And i think we will continue to affect each other and and i appreciate this question. The reason i pulled it was because these are these are like the the interesting questions that are that are in the nuance of this kind of like post acquisition world with us you know and so i appreciate the question on it just for anyone listening. I think it's just like we're i'm really committed to these things. Yeah also we've all been raised in.

"It's gonna be hard here. It comes maybe that is somehow triggering it. It could be. Yeah there could be something that when you tell our kids when they're laying down in bed like if you're having trouble falling asleep count backwards from one thousand earlier you can't close your eyes and try to close your eyes and you will fall asleep. Yeah one of my interest. I try to stay away to stay away. And then you'll fall asleep. You know not using a device or something but just trying to stay awake. So i don't know maybe try to throw up. That's a good idea to throw up. Try to beat it yeah. It's interesting if you were trying to like de emphasize the importance of something because if if it's mental than it's there's something about the finish that is like there's some big thing that's happening and that's what's making you and so if you so i'm trying to think of ways that you could deemphasize at one would be. Maybe you do a race that you don't tell anyone about so i don't know if there's like a public nature to this if you like friends or family know that you're racing and there's like expectation around it or if it's just completely private or you have somebody sign you up for a race that you don't know the distance of there you go off and on until the until the finish line happens. I don't know back ma'am. I might be interesting in. This doesn't happen in training. Because this line i generally have a weak stomach running marathons but even these shorter distances. I need to pull over to the side. Yeah maybe i don't know. Yeah one of many questions that we don't have gradients and for those of you. New to the podcast. We have a follow up section on our podcast that we do at the end and that is what our listeners are like. You guys are dumb. I have a better answer. Or that's cool. I'm glad to hear about picky bars next. Phase with leonard superfood. Congratulations to all involved. I know that that's the culmination of lots of hard work and we'll open up future opportunities. Thank you for that. I'm curious to know how you feel about lert superfoods branding especially following up on the recent work. Play love podcast. Discussion of clean. "That's called like the stupid rule committee. A rule is turns out to be stupid. We we discover an application of it that highlights just how stupid it is that it allows for a process that could streamline change change process. I agree and so we need to put this to the stupid rule committee. That doesn't exist. Awesome okay already. The next one. Who i am so thankful you both have found yourselves back to the recording studio after this heck of a year as we get back into racing i ask if either of you have personal. Coaching experiences with quote negative race associated associations in quote. I've been running races. Age group competitively since high school but over the last five years have developed in association with sorry vomiting as soon as i see the finish line. It doesn't matter what distance five keta marathon. I generally have a weak stomach running marathons but even in the shorter distances. I need to pull over to the side. I was never wanted to have a strong kick at the end. In general i was never trying to go that far into the red. This has happened over a dozen times. I think it's one hundred percent mental. I've tried slowing down before the end and totally ignoring the finish line sign fanfare as much as possible. Any mental tips or tricks. Thank you for the humor and honest banter over the years. Oh man. I wish i had a good answer for this such an interesting question. I think it is going somewhere else with negative associations like any time. I run this particular coerce. The same thing happens to me but the seems to be like associated with completing the completion of a major endeavor situation. So i don't know i don't know if this this person believes that it's one hundred percent mental. Maybe that's kind of sounds like it is but but who knows you know. I'm not a doctor or an exercise physiologist. Maybe this happens to certain number of people near the end of an effort. You know. I don't know the only thing that i could think of a similar like involuntary thing that i i don't know that i don't think was mental. But was man. I would cramp like towards the end of my racing of my races all the time. And i like. I don't know how you mentally create a cramp. But i just felt like that was something where i was like knew it was coming and then it would come. You know what. I mean and I just look back at that. And wonder how much of that was influenced by mental stuff also in or just sometimes when i'd finish a race just not being able to finish strong period because of like mental kind of blocks. That's that's what no separation between mind and body so right there. Yeah that idea of pushing like getting stressed out about the the end like knowing that it's going to be hard knowing that it's going to be whatever and then getting stressed out about that and having that be like a negative cycle like a wilting. As opposed to kind of positive like running into the finish do you. I guess mental category of questions about hydration nutrition because a lot of people do those things differently in races than they do in training so that might be just a place to look and then but i agree it could be coming like starting from the mental side. And i can't figure it out i would. I would try the approach of like not carrying Just to see if that takes away some of its power. Yeah if you're just like. I'm gonna. I'm just going to happen and i'm gonna do it sort of the opposite of like. Why does this keep happening. What can i do to stop it. Because like you were saying with Slowing down thing..

"But you can't you can't just overturn a rule for one person with a collective outrage that has been applied to everybody. You know I know that an and i'd like it if they see if we could do that. Like a part of me with like that because it is a really stupid rule but also we need to believe in systems that have a way of changing rules. That we aren't just disc- nobody wants a discriminatory applied rules. Yes i can. We'd like to go this rules dumb. Let she carry run. But then you're basically endorsing discriminatory applying not applying rules as a concept which we don't want to do with water rules generally but get outraged and we need to change the rule. I mean into good way to know that the rule needs. I mean i would would and one of the questions on here was what steps forward are needed to. i know. Yeah what's up for need to happen. And i don't know that i'm guessing. It has the athletes integrity unit is a it would have something to do with it. It's involved with world. athletics too. Small group of athlete run. Yeah advocates for clean sport but who can push things one way or the other to me. It seems like it. You know. And i don't know so. Call your senator. Here's the thing one of those things where you have. Hey you this this rule that at least clearly to most people doesn't make any sense. Just got a massive spotlight on it you have. You still have like three weeks to fix it four weeks till like fix it. Do you have time to change. Rule and retroactively remove the suspension. I mean to me it feels like you do if feels like one of those things. That's like it just gets lost in bureaucracy because like what's the bureaucracy like what does it actually take to take a vote of the of somebody like this. It's the things that actually need to happen. Like how much time does actually take dogs. That's where that's probably where or that's where it feels really frustrating to me because there might be a lot of people on the athletics integrity unit or whoever that believe that the rules and they're just like it's just lost in i i but i don't know i think we need that address..

Yes that's great that's Everybody wins. That's way better than any answer i had. I think i'll just keep it at that one. Anybody else has any ideas that the person can't can't walk at all which is boring so i love movies like a morning or sunset. Walk around the block where you can just you know talk to each other can little not. I just Think smaller yeah. Unless it's you know romance time. Think bigger but if it's if it's any other kind of movement little moments little joyful moments go okay right meat and potatoes. She carry richardson's recent positive. Thc test has gained a lot of media attention given the opinions on her suspension. Why as thc on the list of banned substances at this point. What steps forward me to happen to remove. Thc from the banned substance list. Thanks for potentially answering in love listening to your podcast as a current runner in the ncaa. I find it inspiring to learn from you both all answer real quick lawrence lauren's answer. We'll have sheila. She knows a lot more about this than i do. I mean i personally feel like having. Thc on the banned substance list doesn't make a lot of sense. I don't know a lot of the Science behind it or why. It's on there. And then in this case in particular i mean it just. It's one of those things where it feels like. The rules aren't having the intended effect of the rule. It's having like an effect. That's totally ridiculous. That's the way i feel about it. But i don't know what a you may. You might know more about it or yeah. Thc's losy down right. i mean called. yeah anyway right. Yeah so why. Is it on the banned list. There are certain events may be biathlon or there may be some of it might be might be helpful to for like focus or unlike dr. Jekyll definitely not helping the hundred years. Yeah and i don't probably most people already feel this way. It's it's shocking and ridiculous now when it was universally legally viewed as illegal r- everywhere tool gave made sense that it would be on the waddled banned list if it's also an illegal drugs because all illegal drugs sport yep so i think what we have here is a case of A long overdue reminder that there are expired yes items on the anti-doping list and they need to be changed. I i will be shocked if that doesn't change. After all of this i will be to It's time and you know. Just the the whole global perspective on has changed. It's the wave is moving in the legalizing Direction more broadly. So i think the. I think it's just sucks because i think she knew most people most athletes know that it's a that she knew and she took responsibility for in your body way. It's drug. that does nothing for you athletically and stays in your body for a really long time after you do. So it's just it's such a sucky situation For so many reasons. So yeah..

So you obviously I got first a second. I got Maddie in front of me. And I knew regardless of what happened with his that battle was gonna give chance to win the game with a man on second, so I just kind of had that I had that my thought, like, Hey, I'm gonna get this app that you know no matter what so Um, you know, he grabs a double double play. I get the bat and remember, you know something. Tell me. Hey, this guy's You know, I love change up, sit off speed, So I was kind of sitting on it just sitting on something soft and I don't want to get too out in front. Just that economy and you know you didn't change it right down the middle. And you know, pretty good swing on it. Yeah, You sure did. How difficult is it in that situation when you know you're waiting, breaking ball or change up? To stay patient. Stay back. Yeah, that's like something. I've been kind of dealing with this whole year and and just kind of letting it travel. And trusting that my hands in to get through. So that was awesome to Ah, to kind of have a plan before I got up there and to execute that plan that does pretty rewarding for sure. And the way you celebrated, I mean, it has been a little bit of a rough packed for you that had to feel so good. Yeah, that was that was a big monkey off my back for sure. And then that My first walk off, so I was definitely pumped. Yeah, And then earlier in the game, the big home run for you did did it feel like you were do Is there anything to that as a hitter? Yeah, no doubt. I feel like you know, recently. I wasn't Get back to my approach and my swing just, you know, generally feel Like Josh Uintas, and that Homer fell like John's point, as you know, that was through and Through and through and, you know, kind of thinking that middle approach so for me, you know another change of down the middle and to stay through it. And to drive it, man. That was the focus. I felt like my work has been paying off. Yeah, when you say it didn't feel like my swing specifically what do you What are you talking about there? Yeah. You know, it seems like I'm Like pulling everything you know these past couple weeks and, you know, groundballs. Even even the hard hit Bullseye feel like component and usually that's not where my strength is that it's up the middle in right field, so And, you know, Once I start getting back to that, I feel like I feel like myself again, and I feel like I can hang on to every pitch and not roll over. So it's that middle approach. We're with Rockies infielder Josh Fuentes game on the line situations. I mean, you go back to a kid on the playground with those things, don't you? Yeah, that was, uh, I've actually been in this situation before. You know, winning run out there, and I haven't been able to get it done, but That was great it It's like that clutch factor. You know, You always wonder if you could do it in the clutch. And you know when everyone's depending on you and And to be like You know, to finally get one and kind of like whole. You know, I can do it in the clutches. Is really is really good. Gives you a lot of confidence. I would think so. You know what? When you go through a rough patch, How difficult is it just to keep grinding to stay positive to stay in that belief that you know what it is going to turn around the cycle is going to come back, and I'm gonna have Have more success. Yeah, 100%, I think When you're in that, I guess. Slumber whatever you really don't You know, All you think about is how bad you're doing. And you know, I've been here before. You know, I've had times of struggle even worse than I did in April, but it zit takes It definitely takes outside. Help to Theo. Kind of get some perspective. Hey, man, you know Either if you hit the ball hard, are you having a good at bats or or something like that? So you know when you're in it it Zeke the worst and everyone's looking at you and you feel like man. This guy's stinks or whatever. But In reality, It's not that bad. You know, in this baseball everyone goes through their things. Yeah, absolutely. We'll keep it going. It was fun to see it last night. All the best in this serious. Thank you, man. Richard Grant would be an impact player for this team right off the bat and honestly, like I said If you don't take before he's not gonna be there. And then when you get 71 you liked our friend Alex came up with the nickname the other day if they if they came away with Mr Tan and Richard Grant called It called the new secondary Steal Team six s. I'm here for that. You know all the interception steel teams. I kind of dug that. That's good. We do new nickname. We can't do no flies on them or doing a new nickname can do it. I won't do it. 5660 this one. Now we will not with the F C West playing the other guy's game. Build the defense. Get a game manager for the offense. We could win. Well, that's a little bit of where they're at right now, at least currently with the quarterback. And I think that's right. I think it's the right philosophy. You're not going out Mahomes Mahomes, So build the defense to the point where you could, you could slow him down, and they kind of laid the blueprint on that. Last year. You look that second Kansas City game Broncos held the Kansas City offense and check a large portion of the game. So you know, you kind of tune up the things you can tune up with that and then you try to add to that offense as well. And so I think that after having looked at Tampa copying, by the way, the Broncos blueprint the Super Bowl You look at Tampa, executing the blueprint that Vic Fangio laid out. I think you say, Hey, look, let's let's build a defense like that. Let's build the best defense that we possibly can. And then we'll come back and try to build. The offense is best we can on top of that go from there. But I think in arms race idea, the idea that you're gonna out my homes for homes is his foolish and you know the the If you if you go look around, we talk about the homes being a generational talent, right? If he's generational, that none of these other guys you were gonna stack up, got a mascot. So again, this idea of arms racing Kansas City on offense is not one that I think is is a good idea. I think the best way to look at this is do the best you can. In terms of trying to slow them down. Bend, don't break on defense, tried turn touchdowns and a field goals and then try to improve your quarterback situation where you're not turning the football over and see what you could do. Yeah, and the first game last year, the Broncos got blown out 43 to 16 a lot of that because of turnovers and a special teams Touchdown, but Pat Mahomes 200 passing yards. One touchdown, took three sacks in that game, so not spectacular numbers. But again, he didn't have to do very much, so I will acknowledge that the Broncos couldn't stop the ground game very well. The were turning the ball over ridiculous clip, interceptions and fumbles. The second time you mentioned that's the one that 22 to 16 lost to Kansas City. That's the one where they really had a great game. Plenty of a ton of yards in that way. I mean, Pat Mahomes of 318 passing yards, but the important stat here only one passing touchdown in that game. No rushing touchdown. They held the Kansas City Chiefs team to one of their lowest outputs. Travis Kelsey went off eight catches for 136 yards. He was the one guy that they really could not stop, but it was a bend don't break they got to the red zone. They made them settle for many field goal attempts. Kids sitting on scored nine points in the first half. So there's a blueprint there. Don't turn the ball over. Drew lock still had two interceptions in that game. You lost by six points. Andrew Luck had two picks. What if you have a quarterback in that spot lock or Bridgewater otherwise? It doesn't throw those two interceptions. You might win your first game in nine appearances against Kanzi Chiefs on the road at Arrowhead. One of those one of those was a red zone turn over to that would let two points for the Denver Broncos. So You know you really that that's the key. That's gonna be the key to next year turned trimming down the turnovers. Trying to generate more turnovers on defense, and I think that they're building the team to be able to do that. And whether or not whether or not drew lock is able to beat out Teddy Bridgewater and capital Big AL, Thanks. Teddy's gonna be the starter. You know, I think it's Drew's job until Teddy takes away from him personally, But, um, you know, I think that I think that's the king. You know, you kind of hope drew locked progresses if he doesn't well, you got a guy back there who's kind of similar to Alex Smith. And that is sufficient doesn't turn it over. Not gonna put up I popping touchdown numbers not gonna put up by popping yardage numbers these efficient, effective with the football. You know, maybe that's what you need. Maybe you need a guy who's not going to turn it over and just kind of makes those short throw short plays and you go from there. You know, A lot of people hold the touchdown numbers to Teddy Bridgewater when often times for his teams. They moved down the field and they hand the ball off Most. The team's he's been on and I'm going on. I'm not saying you're defending Teddy Bridgewater. Because if you watched a Bridgewater play, you know where he is. And you know what he isn't and you know what he isn't exactly. So I'm not gonna sit here and try to sell you on Teddy Bridgewater anymore than I have to. I'm just saying that sometimes numbers could be what they are, depending on what the offensive scheme is, If the scheme is designed of we're gonna pass between the twenties, but when we get down to the Reds, and we want to run the ball effectively Well, you know you're running backs. We're gonna be getting the bulk of those Mike Davis last year for the Panthers that he had double digit touchdowns. I think I'm looking up right now..

"I doubt this comes up nearly as much. And then on top of that, Justin Herbert had a brilliant rookie year and so That's where we said this. From the beginning. He said that Justin, her word plays well is gonna put a ton of pressure on this organization. Right. Can't advantages that you know, maybe a drew locked didn't had players that first of all is this multiple years? The same scheme? Yes. Yet players old veteran players in that around that offense, It already knew it. All he had to do was just come in and catch himself versus Trulock, who was learning it alongside his rookie teammates and second year player teammates and That was probably well, I didn't have a Keenan Allen out there. Courtney got hurt. You know, I didn't have 100 Henry out there. You don't even have a policy. It's center. You're a rookie on so it's you know, it's it's one of those situations where you know the context. People always talk about excuses, Mans no excuses. Just the context the situation. I'm not saying Drew's gonna go out and become that guy or not. I'm just saying, Let's let's be honest about the situation go from there. The Raiders. Close to the playoffs with a Derek Carr. Well, that that's the name he brought up that Andre brought up because he gets it he feels like that's kind of in that blurry lines. You know that Ryan kind of Jerry's in that tear he's in that you could you could you get the playoffs with him? You might even be a little Super Bowl with him. But you probably you probably looking to see if you have a down year something happens and you got the opportunity Quarterback. You probably do it. Yeah, I think the tough decision and this is a decision. They have to make any time soon. The Broncos that is Tough decision is paying those guys because, like I didn't I would never have wanted to pay that Ryan 30 million. But why you're not gonna find replacement level like anywhere else. That's what I do. The painting will be snapped up in a heartbeat on some other team and you're gonna watch him probably take a team to the playoffs or is not beyond it. There are really good team and they were a quarterback away. And so it almost seems like been the goal is you build the team in order to put yourself in position that when you get that quarterback you drafted requirement, whatever. Then you are basically ready. Toc skyrocket. It's basically what the Broncos did in 2012. You know, they built the team around there. They had good defensive players they had, you know, young up and coming offense with the marries Thomas and Eric Decker. Handsome young. You know, titans, Tom? Yeah, I had some talent around them. And as soon as they got Peyton Manning here It was the difference and they went to 12 wins that year. Here's the thing. Is if you're gonna make a bonfire You got to put the wood up first. You know, so that when you when you put the lightning rod in there and you catch that and you catch fire, you can sustain it from there is you gotta build. You know you gotta build it up first, and that's what they're trying to do. That's what George Payton is talking about. You got to be prepared to put the lady right up there, but we can't sacrifice our wood pile. Righto rub sticks together and into us. We put the put the bonfire together and then try to like the thing on fire and get it going. That's that's what the quarterback is. Quarterbacks the match. You know that gets that thing going and so, you know, end of the day. You're you're just trying to find that guy, but you don't want to sacrifice your whole woodpile to do it. Like that's really well said, and this is a fun conversation. Let's come back to this tomorrow. A little bit will bring this up with Steve Atwater, but I mean again, it kind of goes back to the point. If you're gonna trade away future drafts, like the biggest, most important players that you'd be possibly drafting, trading away future drafts in order to get to Shawn Watson. It's likely not just setting yourself back in a few years, but you're thinking about building up that woodpile you're thinking about building up. What would be the talent around that quarterback and we've already seen how stretched this team got when things didn't go, right. And they got hurt. Yeah, and that's the thing you eliminate the margins at that point, So you know you you want to build this thing right? And I have confidence that he's going to do that. Yeah, I certainly do. I don't know why that got misunderstood the way it did, but You know you're right. People are looking for reasons to be upset before they even have a legitimate 12. All right, that does it for us tonight. Thank you. Jesse Thomas. Thank you, Michael Cooper. Thank you guys for listening. We'll be back tomorrow. Seven. Broncos Country tonight on Kayla NewsRadio in everywhere on the I Heart radio out tomorrow on.

"Just reach over and get that. Wanted toe really remind you of something we talked about in the In the first R, and that's the podcast Now, if from time to time, an affiliate of around the house and you, Norman, listen on runs some kind of a sporting event college or Or or pro sports on we get preempted. Usually it's not both ours just one hour, usually the second hour. If that's the case, then make sure you know how to get ahold of the podcast because you can always listen to the program that way and get the whole thing. So the podcaster available through the I Heart radio site, which is reachable through my website, which is around the house dot com. There's a little set of earphones there. You click on those Listen to podcasts. He'll take it to the I heart site and they're old news around the house right there and ready to go. And you can listen to show by show segment by segment going back, I think The last time I checked, Maybe the 2017 so podcasts are there in Jesse Thomas will put up the podcast sometime this evening of today's program. Let's see what we got here. Uh, this is from looking for this week's email. This is from Dean. Pretty good question for you Talk about recirculating hot water pumps. I've looked at a few and wonder what you recommend our water heaters, 40 ft or so from our From our washing machine. Yeah, I wouldn't know if it's the washing machine. You know You're going to run water in there no matter what you do, And I'm not sure I would do this just for the washing machine. I think it's more applicable to bathrooms that are along. Maybe if you have a bathroom that Near your washing machine. It's 40 ft. Away. Let's talk about a pump, but it was just the washing machine. You're not really interested in hot water coming a little later into the washing machine because it will ultimately get there. We're more worried about getting hot water to a bathroom each and every day and night. When you shower and use the lavatory washing machines aren't used as often as bathrooms. So you might. If it's washing machine, only I might not spend the money. However, if you want to get hot water to the far end of the house, washing machine and bathrooms included. There's there's all kinds of pumps online. The basic premise. Is that you? You pull hot water down one pipe and send it back to through the through the other pride through the cold water pipe round and round. Set up a conviction. Luke from the water heater, so the hot water is right there. Many of these pumps come with a little timer in them. Ah, little, you know, like a little timer that you said to come on before you get up in the morning and And go off when you go to work, so the pump isn't running 24 7. They could go you can find these online auto Cirque laying is another brand L A and G. Grundig has examples of these. There's all kinds of pumps and they're usually a couple 100 bucks. 200 maybe up to $250. So, uh, that's what I recommend A circulation pump. Now the most efficient way to do this is the had a third pipe. This isn't always possible in an existing home. You have to have a third pipe from the bottom of the water heater to that far away bathroom so that the water can return and set up that loot. Now, if you don't have that There's another system and isn't quite as good. Feedback I've gotten is, you know not. It's not a It's not as efficient as a three pipe system, and this is to pull hot water down the hot water pipe and shove it back down the cold water pipe in that bathroom. This is if you can't get underneath. Put that third pipe in the three pipe system is best, but they're the auto certain pump A U T O C I r C works nicely with just a two pipe system. On little again. Kick on you plug it in. I have to get a little power under your bathroom lavatory. Plug it in and set it to come on. Just before you get up in the morning. I'll have instant hot water right there at for the shower. Or the lavatory in your bathroom. So if you could do it, a three pipe system is best If you can get underneath the house, if not the auto search system, and, uh well, take this next break. I look, there's a couple of the brands. I Not remembering right now that I look up when we take the break, so If you want to circulate hot water around, That's good thing. You don't waste nearly as much water. This is especially applicable in ranch style homes where they're where they're very, you know, long, long way If your utility room is at one end of a Ranch style home. Getting hot water to the other end wastes a lot of water and time. Of course in the morning, So let me look up a couple more of those brands while we take this.

"Well, this 100% John Watson's getting traded well, and it'll be significantly under market from what else anybody else would logically think all right, and that Z tweeted somewhere below. Brian's looking at my tweet they can, you know, three first three seconds in a player. I pay that to be religious John Watson, you know, Okay, because he's an idiot. But Zedd so that that franchise That's the reason stereo got a six year deal. Because it's just like the cupboard is bare outside of Watson. There's not much there. And there's no draft picks to replace it because she trade him all way. So if you if you look at, so this is well said Okay, I have some thoughts on that. Well, actually, I have something that's like a Sarah needs to sit down and see if the shop wants us on the same page because if he's not, then you say to Sean, or you will, it'd wave your trade clause. And if we get X Y and Z in a deal. Which I've already laid help. It might be beneficial to the Texans Allow them room. Let's have a little fun, but real conversation. Try to be as real as possible. I mean, yes, you are. You're trying to. I mean, you think Ryan Tannehill's a better quarterback into Shawn Watson. So I have a hard time taking you seriously? Exactly what I said, Basically what you said you had before the show. What? Show it one game for the show and win one game. This guy taking which quarterbacks are you taking to win one game and I would take Ryan Tannehill before the show. All of it was talking about is look One guy's name has go in that the other one does not. And it's very easy for me to choose. Which one I'm gonna take him Take Stan ago. What quarterback leads the NFL fourth quarter comeback this year. It's right in our quarterback leads the NFL on game winning drives past it, But this is a thing like like you're also with going in with the highest passer rating. The NFL is here. There. There are other factors here. Okay, you're You're just doing old Lee, the quarterback. What about their defense? Does not like the shot wants to play quarterback. They had no corners deep lying there for the Texas and he's got Derrick Henry Kloss. Also, Tannehill has his two top white receivers. You had to shut watching thrown the new guys the entire year. Great quarterbacks. Elevated talent. Stop it. You what you're telling me is by the way by the goal, the goal Post just moved outside the door going fourth quarter comebacks that dish I want to have this year. Many times did he put the team on his was great quarterback? His franchise guy that you want? Sometimes you throw the team on his back Counting down there. Get a score already Know the answer? Because you told me I did it zero. Yeah, he had zero was actually Mother's Daniel Jones. Well, thank goodness. Brett ripping had more fourth quarter comebacks the dish on Watson and he played in two games. By the way, I'm gonna let everybody in on a little secret here. We're actually doing this on purpose because we're gonna send this audio to the Texans to let them know that they have a bust right in their quarterback, and then we'll easily you know, we'll mop up. I got for throwing 1/5 round on a ham sandwich and you realize The Derek Carr's a better quarterback that to shun Watson because of fourth quarter comebacks. Ryan Fitzpatrick has more cook cousins. So just Tyrod Taylor. Everybody has more fourth quarter comebacks this year, and he played in one game. Just so we understand the situation. Benjamin Albright is saying that to shine, Watson is not worth trading for that. We're trading that for Mm. You don't mortgage? Here's the thing. So I had this conversation with several people text meeting because you're the world rituals. You put the tweet out. I was talking and I was like, Look, it's good. You did that. You did this. You did this to everybody. It's gonna be. It's gonna be funny. Like people talk about this and you talk about like Matt staffer and also stuff and I'm like, man. The thing about that is just like, If you trade all this capital to get that guy, you've got a two year window and then you're right back in the place where you started, and another wasteland. Four year wasteland of losing because your whole roster has needs turn over and you got nothing to replace it Now, that's it. Interesting question. Okay, so that that you're you're derailing me from the points I wanted to make, but I'll get back to those. That's an interesting point. Broncos fans, Would you trade two year window like a known to your window? Understanding that the 2 82 to 4? Yeah, maybe three. Maybe 2 to 4 years beyond that, probably four years. Yes. Might end up being brutally bad devil Wasteland. I think they would. It was like the Peyton Manning spirit You're gonna go for? Yeah, Let's say you're gonna get three years. Let's call three. You're gonna get three years of competitive football. And then you're gonna be the Jets for four years. Do it. Heartbeat. No. Yes. What happens it? Jesse Thomas. Whoa. What? No, you wouldn't do it. That's it. That's why he's smart. That's why Jesse I've always said Yes. He was the smartest one here. That's why I say that. See, Don't we want championships hearing and rock this country? I mean, what are we all of a sudden? Are we the bottom of the barrel like they tell us we are had to be bothered about. You could build up to that in other ways. That right would you would you do three years for for four years of barren wasteland? He's sitting there throwing up one finger. I think they're eating their dinner, so we probably interrupted that. Sorry, guys. I don't know what he's doing in there. He looks like he's contemplating something, but he's got a smirk. You can't really tell what's going on just to get back on the border. All good. All right. Roll, Okay. Absolutely do it. 100% what? I've always said he was the smart one back there It was. He said he would do it. You said what I said. I know that's why I said Yes. It was a smart okay, because he wouldn't just just try to make it even Judge is actually good, Just he's got those radio instincts. He's like, Well, if I just agree with Ryan and Ben's gonna feel ganged up on and that's a very good radio. That's I don't ever feel gang up on. I'm too busy being right all the time. This is the deal. This is this is the deal, so ah, couple things in player. First of all the John Watson was unhappy, right if he's unhappy. They just unhappy with not being consulted about the general manager search after he was told he would be. Yes. I mean, I'm a peacock. Let me let me fly a little bit. Okay. John watches analogy. Unhappy and and oftentimes as as we've seen these situations like, say, Kirk cousins in Washington when a quarterback's unhappy They can find their way. In fact, that any player at this point we've seen multiple instances make if it's Patrick. So Antonio Brown, we see multiple insists of star players forcing their way out if they're unhappy. Name one quarterback. Maybe I just said Kirk Cousins, Great example isn't unhappy. He just got three. He kept cashing in. Yeah, I know. You wanna attack me again. Let's do it. They approached him with a contract A six year contract, he said. No, right. Yeah, but now she could make more money It was, but they wanted to bring him back. And then he decided not. I don't want to stay with this organization. But I will keep taking your money right? That's a little bit different situation. There's an unhappy quarterback Kirk Cousins said checking. I'll stay here with Dan Snyder. And then when the When the money goes trials cashing somewhere else is a big deal. Let me finish my thing here, okay? You talk about context. I got shot X right here. Shot watching Unhappy Star player. Unhappy new regime coming in OK, new new GM new head coach if he's not consulted, and he doesn't get what he wants, necessarily Could be interesting. Also, you mentioned it. They have a new empty cabinet. Of top in draft picks as a result of the decisions, ability, Brian. Well, I can tell you where you're gonna get a bunch of top in draft picks if you want him. Trading to Shawn Watson. That's right, But I've already said this and I'm like I'm trying to paint a picture here for you, okay? This picture Anything like the horse that starts off really well drawn, and then it probably you know me And I'm gonna eventually like that. I'm just like I'm gonna lose interested at all in. Yeah, but to this point, Ben I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility that to Sean wants enforces the trade of the Texans. Now whether the Broncos are gonna be in play if they want to do something that we talked about last night, the new GM wanting to make a splash play..

"Hey Cami Hey Monica. Guess what I got a really funny. DM from a listener last week. A D M A direct message in my inbox area. Looks a lot neater than mine but anyway she goes on on this. What is a big mess? I keep buying stuff and there's still nothing in it cheers angell. Let's so nice while tangled thread. Four thousand five. It's funny you should ask because this. This episode is actually going to be full of answers. I suspect not only are we going to be interviewing the founders of one of the world's leading secondhand fashion retailers that's yeah collective which By the way allows you to buy and sell second hand pieces designer secondhand pieces but also coming. I feel like we need to talk about this. Eternal problem of all of us feeling like there's nothing to wear in our wardrobes. Having a wardrobe full of clothes an attorney thinking oh I have nothing to wear exactly and we're kind of clearly missing. The mark of this is a problem problem. A societal problem because we're buying a lot of stuff but we're not buying the right stuff. I also think that a lot of us. I've heard a lot lately that instagram's our social media's to blame for this and it's because girls don't want to repeat outfits on the ground don't want to be seen wearing the same things tonight in a row etc etc.. But I oh. I think that this problem dates back to way way way more before that says that people have been overwhelmed by sort of trends flying at them for a really long time. And it's hard to pare back to the essentials. Well I think also women often want to wear something new to feel confident and and and that's great great but what about also training yourself to not need something new to feel confident on on the country learning to mix and match of things that you have in different ways so that you actually really playing around with your wardrobe so much better exactly. And I'm sort of training myself. That way and trying to really invest in Ki Ki. He says I have to say those are what I feel Augustine. Speaking of I wanted to give a shoutout to this amazing stuff. It's called the registry which is a website that allows you to repair things that you've previously love. Do they come pick up the broken pieces from your house. Yes so basically. It's a website you see. You can go on it. I think it's the restaurant or calm. Or I don't know you. You have your favorite dress that needs fit into your body. Because it's it no longer fits and actually I think we so often think of replacing things buy new ones when we want something Robin repairing so anyway not everyone think of also repairing the things you love before you start investing even if it's investing in vintage pieces that I think it's good to get these these new kinds of services out there. Yeah I agree. Check it out. Also I went to the trouble to properly answer this listener. That was so honored. Also we're going to be fashioned agony. The neons yeah so I actually wrote down my essential pieces that I could not live with her in my wardrobe okay. I've really thought about this. Go on okay. So a perfect suit preferably in black Assamese had measles a great one. I would say velvets a lot of it. Suit Yup. Okay where where's your velvet. Suit is from Ray. His own brown raise amazing as well almost flat but but not quite flat elegant boots I think a day and by far are really good for this or if you have a bit more budget products are brilliant boots a pair of black gray white and dark blue ankle skimming jeans not too tight higher wasted. Because it's more flattering Goldstein. Denim are very good at this. Yeah I think with Denim. It's what works for you. I think each fasten their favorite stall. I'm I'm going for a very mom jeans. Gre like ninety one pair of slingbacks in a neutral color probably blacked to dress at the black gene at night and make your ankles look great a crisp white shirt go one size up. You don't want it to be tight. Where'd you get your shirts from? There's a brand called with nothing underneath. Uniqlo's well wait t shirts from current Elliott great feel and tank tops internal next from a brand that. I've just discovered this dude looled. The Francis dilaudid in English. It's really fake. Check it out and have a great instagram account as well and a body suit to wear under the jacket. which because you can separate the jacket from the suit and just wear it with jeans right but then you WanNa wear in a casual way but open and you have to have something underneath presume bodysuits really good? I feel like this is tetris actress fashion. We should be providing the maximum amount of outfits. You can wear with these combos yet. So would you add anything. Maybe a piece of statement jewelry like from at Gerry. A or an Isa Kerr McGee. I would also add a pair of What I like to call cities meakers things that you were like for example of cool new balance or as X.? Trainers absolutely necessary sustainable option. Yeah I wear my new balance a lot I have to say I love. Also a big extra-large man coats your because I think you can wear whatever whatever you want underneath and just throw it on not be called and then you can have like skimpy little mini dress underneath if you're going out whatever and you'll find even if it's freezing and that's the last is key investment piece potentially the most expensive. Oh by the way also I really believe in like if you have old jewelry that maybe let your mom gave you or something but it feels old school. You can get converted birded into something really new and cool as well like Jesse Thomas Jewelry that her dad's a Master Goldsmith. She's learnt his art and she's learned how to do this and she has really cool. Modern tastes but with all of this stuff. You don't you don't need to buy things not to be preachy anyway. One more thing I wanted to tell you on this topic Chemi is. I met this girl the other day. on this visit London called Catherine quenches. I've heard of her. She's brilliant super committed minimalist. She's black for the past eight really. She hasn't won another Nkala rather than like a commitment. Quite extreme. Yeah not much light. But she's like totally committed and she's super chic anyway. She designs in other neutral colors. Black and everything goes super well together and she has created city break. Capsule wardrobes. So you can actually buy the whole thing together. You don't even have to think about it and everything goes perfectly. So there's just put a London won the Perez ones coming through in the Florence and it's actually all inspired by Joan. Didn't packing list love lies. We read it out the packing list.
