McAuliffe Hopes Joe Biden Can Spark Struggling Campaign

"So America, Joe Biden, you go out there and vote for Terry mccaul and Joe Biden after last night's rally. There was a, quote, rally. Let me show you a couple of pictures, put up by our friend Mac. Here is the CBS picture of the rally that the president did with Terry mcauliffe in Virginia last night. If you're watching on YouTube, you can see that picture. I don't see it yet, so maybe it's stuck in the ether. But it looks like a good crowd. You don't even think, wow, wow, the president may have more hustle than we think. Maybe he's really good at it. Then you pan out. There's the first picture. That's the CBS News picture. Then you pan out, and they've taken over one corner of one tiny park in Virginia across the river from The White House. And they basically rounded up the locals and shuffled them into maybe 300 people there. That 300 people Dwayne, do you think that's 300 people? I'm not sure that that's 300 people. But the president, though, is simply out to lunch on this stuff. Here he is, last night, talking about blend young and who has clearly got the Democrat scared to death of winning an upset that would be an earthquake in America. Cut number 17. Jesse look how he's closing his campaign. He's gone from banning a woman's right to choose to banning books written by a Pulitzer Prize and Nobel Prize winning author. Toni Morrison. So if you talk about love, by the way, which I just finished recently and he's talking about not banning books, but about allowing parents to know which books are being read in what their messages are beloved as a fine book for teenagers to read and I'm sure glad you can would agree with that. But if you have to start what you're attacking opponent is saying, then you're responding to attacks two days before an election with a weak and unpopular president in a tiny park with nobody in it. And that means Terry mcauliffe is sucking air because people don't like Joe Biden

Jessie Jane Duff's Hardcore Response to the Concept of Women in Combat

"And we're back one on one with Jesse Jane Duff. Okay, we discussed it at the beginning of the show. Let's open it up a little bit further. The NDAA, the national defense authorization act the Republicans who are bending over backwards to facilitate the crazies in the Democrat party. Well, not crazy. The crazy Democrat party told us about this idea of the draft for women. And who's behind this insanity and give us your take justice? Well, you know, there is so much disarray with this current administration that I couldn't tell you the logic behind any of it. Other than they have been enabled by our enemies. I mean, I look at this as just watering down the capabilities of our United States military one drip at a time. And people, you know, I get on Twitter and I get these guys. I wanna say, well, you all wanted equality. And I'm like, stop it. Stop it. Don't sit here and argue with someone like me. I wasn't one of those lieutenants that went to go to the courts and protest ensues, so I could become a general one day. The odds of you becoming a general in the infantry are slim to almost zero. Number one, number two, what is your motivation for this? It's not going to impact combat readiness. On one level. So first of all, there was a study done by the United States Marine Corps when Obama had lifted the combat exemption for women. And I believe it was 2015. April 15th, I remember was tax day. And it went without nobody cried. Nobody cried. Civilian women didn't even care. And I'm sorry, civilian ladies, you never care till it impacts you. And the fact is, as they've taken it for granted that their daughters wouldn't get drafted, but I told that many radio shows and TV shows as soon as you put women in ground combat, how are you going to be able to say you can justifiably stop putting it having them in the draft? So here's the thing, the bulk of the women don't want to go in the infantry for a multitude of reasons. We have 45% less muscle mass 20% less won capacity. And I hear women in the army particularly want to get mad at me and say, oh, you're against women's rights. Say, you are not thinking this out. Even if a woman can get through the training, what are her odds of surviving hand to hand combat with the enemy? Because that's what Fallujah was. This is equivalent to putting a woman in a mixed martial arts cage with a man. You can not believe pounds or 80 pounds of equipment. And not only that, the enemy tends to fight on methamphetamines and other drugs. So that right there. Two. Even if you pass the training, your odds are you're going to be at the lower percentile of the men. Unless they've done so many accommodations, they've lowered the standard. You now have

Gunnery Sergeant Jessie Jane Duff Describes When She Knew She Was Different

"Welcome back to one on one with Marine Corps guttery sergeant Jesse Jane Duff. All right, so you joined the Marine Corps, Jesse James, you don't have driver's license. I want to give you MOS transport. They're going to be driving stuff. Big rigs. I got to ask you first because I'm just curious. What was your favorite thing to drive of all the rigs? Oh, they probably the Mac that when we at least a Mac truck at my commercial motor pole at camp Pendleton base motor transport. They at least a Mac at one time, and let me tell you there was nothing like it. It's like the Cadillac 20 feet up in the air. But I can tell you two of my favorite experiences. One was when I was driving. It was probably a flat nose white. I don't recall the tractor that I was in. And I was hauling heavy equipment to an Air Force Base outside of riverside, California to get offloaded onto a aircraft. And I have to drive through commercial streets, civilian streets, and I didn't have a concept of how I looked. I didn't realize I was pretty. I really didn't. I wasn't even allowed to date for goodness. Yes. Protective family. Straight into the moon. I mean, I knew I wasn't ugly, but I just did. So what happened? Well, so two things. Well, one. What are you wearing? Are you in common? Yeah, it's always in camouflage. So to experiences, being naive like that was very good for me because I was never arrogant or big headed, and I never thought I could. Manipulate people. No, I was always like, I got to prove myself. I got to work harder. Always. I was always like a maniac. So I'm driving this tractor trailer. Now remember looking at the roads and how the navigate the turn. This is a long trailer. And I look down and there's a civilian lady. She looks up at me. Her eyes pop out of her head. Her jaw drops, and then she gives me the biggest thumbs up, you would ever see. Like, she just thought that was so cool 'cause the side of the truck said the United States Marine Corps. I'm in camouflage. The second experience was offloading heavy equipment and, oh, no, to pick up equipment from an infantry unit in 29 palms. So I get out there, that's the desert. I have to back up into and I'm backing up into the dock to load up their hummers. They're humvees. And I jump out of the truck and the look on their faces was absolute shock. Now I'm a sergeant at this point. Marines are professionals. You hear all these horror stories from I'm sorry. In the Marine Corps, they see your rank, you don't hear a PEEP of disrespect. And I'm out of that truck and they'll look on their faces was seriously. She's gonna hold us out of here. You could just see it. And I said, all right, double dogs. I need to get you to drive up the hummers onto the trailer. And they're waiting for me to ask for help to chain it down. But we don't do that. When you're trained in the motor pool, you're taught how to chain down your gear. And again, I'm not thinking I'm a lady opened the door for me or help me. It was a different mindset. And then they stood there and watched me get the underneath those at the chains and then take the break apart, pull it in and clamp them all down all two or three hummers. And then I said, anybody want to ride back to camp Pendleton and that one of them had the balls to get on that truck. And I roll back to campell, guys, I'll see you there. And then they offloaded. But I would say those stood out to me because that's when I realized I was different.

"She's none other than gunnery sergeant, UN United States Marine court Jesse Jane Duff, she worked on the Trump campaign co chair of veterans for Trump and also contributed a fellow colleague of mine on newsmax. Gunny, welcome to one on one. Thank you so much. I love your introductions. I get real big headed. Can't get me out of the studio after that. We will always stick to the truth. You are a gummy always a gunny. We've got to talk about what is happening in the last ten months to our services. As you know, the Marine Corps is especially close to my heart. I've worked with all the armed services but I spent two and a half years in Quantico. The latest breaking news item is we find it. I'm sure the Chinese are most impressed. I'm sure Vladimir Putin is quaking in his boots. We have a transgender admiral. Now thank the good lord, it's not in a real armed service. It's not in the coast guard or the navy. It's in the health corps, but put the footage up. This is what's his name Richard Levine, HHS, who has been made a quote unquote admiral in the health corps by the man who sadly bears the title commander in chief and president sleepy creepy Joe Biden. Jesse Jane, this disturbing turn of events, they're not going to keep this just to the health cor are they. Oh, absolutely not. For example, the national defense authorization act right now in Congress got passed. It has to go up to the Senate still. Got passed, though, that taxpayers would pay for transgender surgery. And vote for military members. Military members. So you could join the military. Now, here's something that a lot of people are not aware. The Trump administration did a year study on this under general Mattis, who was very open minded, maybe a little more so than many of us would have liked. For other issues such as women and ground combat, but getting back on this, general Mattis had this studied conducted and they came to find out that transgenders could join the military, but it would be after they've had the hormone treatment, the surgeries. And they were psychologically fit. So they were actually capable of doing the job. And there would be a 5, I believe it would be 5 years within the time that they are surgery. So that you knew that they had fully adjusted. We know that there are record breaking medical concerns among the transgender community for psychological issues, the what is it? What is it called gender dysphoria things to that effect? And I'm no expert on the topic. And I have no issue with the transgender being in the military, but I have a huge issue with the transgender who is using the military to be non

We don't rehearse any of this. I don't tell you what I'm going to ask you. This is the question. I don't think I've ever asked you. And I think it's the most important one. Nobody is doing what you're doing. I mean, you know, Jesse ward is what his world is fun. It's amusing, but your videos are shocking. Why are you doing what you're doing? What's the genesis of it or we share that story? Yeah, sure. You know, so my background was as an investment banker. That's what I did for most of my career. And one day the Saturday night and I was watching the Michael Moore film going for Columbine. And I started drifting off thinking about the United Nations and how horrific they are and damaging they are. And why isn't anybody up in arms about it? And I looked over at the screen at the Michael Moore documentary. I thought, what did engaging interesting. Way to convey an idea, this idea of a smart, dark documentary. Now, he may be totally wrong, he's a big fat pig. But hey, you know what? Still, it's a really interesting way of conveying a perspective. So I thought, you know what? I'm going to do that. I literally quit my job. I was sorry, I quit my job on Monday. Start raising money, made a movie called you and me, which was thank God successful enough where a kind of open live doors for me. I decided I didn't want to do any more. I didn't want to spend another 7 years on one topic and spend millions of dollars on it. So I said, you know, this social media was really taken off that point. And you can kind of create your own platform. And that's what I did. I just started doing these one off videos. And they just kind of became super successful and they kind of blew up to the point where now we're across all platforms are probably four and a half million views per video. As soon as the show, right? Then you're going to have your own show called triggered. Yeah, yeah. We are in the process of that as well. Really excited about them. I'm sure. "Well off you know your childhood. I grew up in a single wide trailer with a single mom in southern west. Virginia you and i didn't grow up that much. Different the differences at a certain point in time in your life. You know you're blessed enough in your dad. Did something pretty remarkable. Yeah and that's when. I saw the light where i was like. Whoa like this is what making it is like. And it was a quick shift and went pretty fast you know. The atmosphere of our environment completely changed but the values of the like. What made him there. What i saw behind the scenes and how he kind of became this person like what it took to get. There was always ingrained in what i was doing. So even though i had to find my own path and go through ups and downs and challenges of my own habits and procrastination's and fears and normal. Human shit. I did get to embody what he went through to. How the success he had and i got to experience both sides of the spectrum. Now i wasn't necessarily poor what we weren't well off. We were comfortable at the time and went through influxes of money but getting to experience both sides. I knew which side i wanted to be on no matter what and that was. Not on the o k side. It was on the successful and rich side. So that's what i've been grinding for and ostlund for other than you know serving and helping an impacting obviously to solve problems for other people. But i knew that was my got to. My y was not to go back to that life. I wanted to stay in the lifestyle that was created in my second half of my child. You know it makes a lot of sense. What are some of those values that you've stuck with from the first part of that childhood. You know. I think one of the biggest things that most people forget is that nothing worth. It comes easy and everything takes time and energy and i think a lot of us are so used to this immediate gratification world of like press this button. Do these things you're only one funnel away kind of mentality when you have gone through it and you know what it takes to be successful. You understand that. There is a certain amount of time energy and effort required to reach a certain level of success. And i think that value of understanding what it takes to actually get to that level was really you know what i saw an experience from watching my dad constantly in his office like just really going after it now.

All right. We'll have more on that story coming up in a moment. I want to get something else that happened this week. That was overlooked by many of the media, and that was a see attacking all white men. That's right. If you're white, and you're a man, you are in the crosshairs of AO see getting ready for this election. Take a listen to what she had to say about white men being really the terrorists that we should all be terrified of here. It is the San Bernardino attack was labeled on the San Bernardino. Tackle. December second two thousand fifteen was labeled as a domestic terrorist incident is, is that correct a blue so and Mr. Austin, do you know with the June twelve twenty sixteen pulse nightclub shooting was also labeled as a domestic terrorist incident. My understanding. Mr. Salim window and roof a twenty one year old white supremacist entered the Emanuel African Methodist episcopal church and murdered nine African American worshippers was that labeled as an incidence of domestic terrorism. I don't believe it was. But there's no question that it was. So it was in your in your belief as, as a leader in the space. It wasn't incidents of domestic terrorism, but it was not labeled as such. It's correct. What's the white supremacist shooting at Pittsburgh tree of life, synagogue labeled as a domestic terrorist incident? I'm not aware that it was, although then attorney general sessions came out and called it that, but the, the charges that were that have been brought to bear and are currently playing out in court are not ones of terrorists. So despite all of that rhetoric that we were hearing, they weren't actually labeled these white supremacists incidents were not labeled as domestic terrorist incidents. And I really dug into some of these distinctions what was labeled as domestic terrorism? What was labeled as a hate crime, and I could not help as much as I tried to dig in and explain I could not help, but feel and see that attacks committed by Muslim Americans were autumn almost automatically labeled as domestic terrorist incidents, yet, white supremacist shooting after shooting after shooting is not, and I can't help but come. To the conclusion that these labels. What's being labeled as terrorism is almost exclusively coming down to the identity. And it seems as though white men invoking white supremacy and engaging in mass shootings are almost immune from being labeled domestic terrorists in their violence. Do you find similar patterns, Mr. Salim? I think when we look at, and I'll just call it what it is the terrorism that has been perpetrated against not just Jewish communities, but against Muslim communities against Christian communities in Charleston against sick communities in oak creek, Wisconsin and a range of other communities that organized based.

"Small. For the hundred thirty thousand dollars they need to recoup the costs of the hate crime investigation. The he sent them on by his perpetuating a hoax against the sitting. Last week. The Cook County state's attorney's office dropped those sixteen felony counts against smaller. Of course. It'd been accused of faking a hate crime against himself. Chicago is out of control everyone's upset about it may around manual among them blasting the prosecutor's office. And that's when just two days later you had the city's quote department of law. They send small out of Bill one hundred thirty thousand one hundred and six dollars and fifteen cents. They said you have one week to pay us that deadline. Was yesterday afternoon. Now that department of law has said that they are drafting a lawsuit. Here's the here's the statement from the city. Mr. small has refused to reimburse the city of Chicago for the cost of police overtime spent investigating his false police report on January twenty ninth two thousand nineteen. The law department is now drafting a civil complaint that will be filed in the circuit court of Cook County, the law department will file the suit in the near future as a part of this legal action. The lot apartment will pursue the full measure of damages allowed under the ordinance. My first reaction when I heard that they were charging him for this was like, well, you know, as much as we know jussie small is guilty because all the available evidence is abundantly clear. It does seem a bit weird that somebody who wasn't actually prosecuted and convicted would have to foot the Bill for a law enforcement's efforts. Like of seems like in our system, you should actually be found guilty of something first before you have to pay up. But the case the police are making here is okay corrupt prosecutor notwithstanding. This guy really did cost us a hundred thirty thousand dollars. It was a prank that he pulled against the city of Chicago. We're going to file it in court. This lawsuit will have its day in court and in in a different way. You may actually have an opportunity for the for the case in a civil complaint for the for the city to basically try Jesse small for his fraud, by way of this lawsuit. And I think it's reasonable for the city to one it's money back from him. Yeah. That's a good point. I had the same reaction as you when they were trying to charge him for this setting sort of a dangerous precedent. Perhaps that anyone who? Launched his requests a police investigation. And they don't find the perpetrator in accused the person making it up will they be responsible for the cost of that investigation. Even if they were actually telling the truth, but the fact that more of this evidence the case against jussie smollet could come out in a civil case is good, especially considering what seems to amount to cover up by the prosecutor who initially claimed that he had already done his do community service to pay for his hoax, and then later tried to pin it on the police department. "Against TV actor Jesse small ad for staging a hate crime attack against himself. However, Chicago PD say they stick by their investigation. And mayor Rahm Emanuel, not happy a whitewash of Justice. Let's dig into it with NBC News Radio is Michael Bauer. Michael good morning. Is this kind of thing typical in a case like this. I would say it's probably more typical than we think. But it's not. Not that you have this high profile case this celebrity cases spotlight on Chicago. Like you've had here in regards to this. We had the police superintendent Eddie Johnson out in front of cameras the day. Smaller was arrested not only listing the laundry list of charges against him. But almost sounding as if he were creating the opening statements for the case, the lawsuit the prosecution against Jesse small Ed, and that may have played a role into why the prosecution felt like they couldn't get more from this case. But that said sixteen of those charges you pointed out drop yesterday in the -mergency court hearing, and we don't know why. Because they have sealed the case at this point in time, the attorney for small Ed says they did not strike any kind of deal with prosecutors that they walked into this meeting said, hey, we think you should drop the case. And prosecutors are like, yeah, we think you're right. And then they said, and you know, what let's seal this case up, and they said you're too for two today. Let's do that. And then he forfeited his ten thousand dollar bond voluntarily that doesn't sound like somebody who's exonerated or innocent. At this point, even though that's what Jesse small lead is trying to walk around saying. Yeah, it sounds like a plea deal. Even though is as you point out small. It's attorneys say it was not the city gets ten grand small. That doesn't go to jail that feels like a pay for play doesn't it? Right. The only thing outside of some sort of a deal would be possibly an indication. The prosecution didn't think they were going to be able to make their case. Did they did they not have the proper evidence that they thought they would have or wasn't strong enough or could they not prove that small at orchestrated this attack? Or or was this a case where legitimately they had concerns about the fact that Chicago PD got right out there in front of the cameras, and may have tried to plead their case in the court of public opinion, and could that be seen as an overstep on behalf of the PD? Or maybe there was remember the two brothers that supposedly got paid thirty seven hundred dollars for small at did they recant did they not have a plea agreement or an immunity deal where they not going to testify any of those things would certainly hamper prosecution's case, and maybe those or any combination therein or reason why they decided to drop these charges back to the two brothers smell attorneys maintain. He was the victim. And the perpetrators were those two brothers who told police that the actress stage the attack so does that mean the states? Attorney should be going after those two because a crime was committed here that could certainly be a twist another twist on top of all of this. Right. They could go after them. And then those guys may have charges against small letter against the city of Chicago in their police department. I mean, any number of things could twist up here that would make that incident become even bigger and become a bigger question. Mark in the field case. It's NBC. News Radio is Michael Bauer. "Wrong. Maximum smaller is wrong. Accountability to the max. Now turns out another way it ought to be that way. We have learned is that we have got to always look at these situations. You do what we have learned is that we always got to look at these situation nuggets of wisdom from the sage. Wow. The article of New York for new oracle. In that amazed one thing we've learned and he says it so emphatically as though it actually has meaning just extraordinary. Yeah. I should face. I if true he just wouldn't wanna leave tiny conclusions. And I guess he doesn't believe the police chief in Chicago and everything that was laid out. I mean, honestly, it's like Austin powers and the Swedish penis pump this receipt from Jesse smollet for Swedish penis pump a book by Jesse smollet. Swedish penis, bumps are my bag baby. You know, I I don't know what more you need on top of the evidence that has been supplied by the Chicago police department who very copiously collected this evidence and presented it. Expertly yesterday. And if you're still saying, well, I don't know jussie says, it's not true. So I'm going with Jesse then you should have a brain scan because there might be a tumor the size of a grapefruit in your skull. Are there might be a squirrel running laps around the inside like that motorcycle that used to ride inside the globe that Ringling Brothers. Barnum and Bailey Circus because your brain is not working as designed if you're still buying that. Okay. Let me before we get to that. There's another just a stunning absolutely astonishing story from the hill day before yesterday was Wednesday. If I'm doing my Gazeta correctly, it was Wednesday, and we learned on Wednesday all kinds of important information on Wednesday evening yesterday. I said I was binge-watching jussie smollet on television. Apparently, I didn't turn to MSNBC because when we learned night before last that jussie smollet was no longer considered to be a victim in the case. But he was a suspect in the case, then we. Learned that there was a warrant out for his arrest on the Chicago police were actively looking for Jesse smaller. And they no longer believed that this was the hate crime that Jesse small claimed that it was but had turned the corner and come to the conclusion that this was a hate crime perpetrated by Jesse small. It turns out that MSNBC all night didn't mention any of that they airbrush to that. Like Trotsky standing next to Stalin MSNBC. The hill wrote does not cover small at hoax charges on Wednesday. Primetime shows by Joe conscience, who is a legitimate media analyst and critic MSNBC did not cover breaking news empire actor jussie smollet being charged with filing false police report about an attack in Chicago. It should say an alleged attack in Chicago during its prime time programs on Wednesday night. Now last night. I assume they did but night before last we knew what it was like we were waiting for the OJ high-speed chasing the white. Bronco? You know, this is. Al Cowlings was gonna take jesse's mullet for a ride I ninety four through Chicago and MSNBC didn't mention it all night long. Chicago police actually announced before eight pm that small. It was being charged with faking his own attack prompting Fox News and CNN to cover this story heavily for the remainder of the evening, but a review of the hill by or all for MSNBC programs from eight pm to midnight showed absolutely no coverage of the smaller story MSNBC did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the hill. Of course, they didn't nor will they ever see MSNBC MSNBC's primetime lineup consists of all in with Chris Hayes. He's the, you know, the Rachel Maddow with very small peanuts. And then the Rachel Maddow show. She is Chris Hayes sans. Then the last word with Lawrence O'Donnell who proudly describes himself as a socialist, just by the way. And then Brian Williams says a TV show who knew. The former NBC nightly news guy has the eleventh hour with Brian Williams. Not one of those shows mentioned the fact that there was a manhunt underway for the guy that they had been prattling on about for well since January twenty ninth about this terrible hate crime that had been perpetrated and win the coin flipped. They just said, well, we're not going to touch that. We're not going to say anything about that. That's that's absolutely not within our purview. They're also another. Here's one the New York Times, the New York Times aronie Asli reported that Jesse was charged with faking his own death. This is the New York stinking times as I think it should be known. You know, what their slogan is don't you? The wash their slow going. Oh, yeah. We'll put out for scoops. That's what it is. Because of their fine reporter Ellie she she dates her sources when I say daytime using a euphemism and their reporters they put out for scoops. They put out friscos, but they reported that Jesse had faked his own death in one report. They did go back and correct that but it took a little while also yesterday when all of these news stories broke, they the New York Times with two reporters reporting from Chicago said that while they wrote a long story about it these reporters, and they forgot to mention in the entire story. The New York Times with two reporters on the byline allegedly reporting from Chicago, they forgot to mention that Jesse claimed that they were maga- hat wearing yelling this is mega country. The New York Times when writing about Jesse now being charged with crimes they just erase that from the story the New York Times, why would you put that in? I e faked his own death at the New York Times, and they corrected that then they published a story but to fake reporters typing from Chicago on behalf of the party. And at an oops, they forgot to mention that. He blamed Trump people for it. Gosh, isn't that amazing? That's a that's a political hate crime. If I'm not mistaken quick break here and back with more. I didn't get to those..

"Arabic-speaking Dr Daniel payments kayakers regarding how to change your brain on that can change your life, particularly agent, Brian. We're going to speak moments Dutch, Rishard pan state, Senator representing California's sixth district that Japan has his pediatrician they wrote a letter to the US surgeon general to stop what he calls a tax on our nation's health with the spread of vaccine misinformation. We're now learning that some of that misinformation disinformation is being disseminated by foreign governments and attempt to foster epidemics in our country, and our government, why don't need to send anthrax over here. I'll just make sure we don't get vaccinated then our undo the basic needs with civilization by creating concentrations of people without sanitation. We call those homeless people, and we'll get an outbreak going. But before the during the break, you texted me, something you want to talk to us about that. Right. Yeah. There's been video released they've done some investigative reporting, and there is video out. Now that shows the brothers. Is linked to Jesse small et the attackers buying the items in an uptown beauty supply store, and you see them throwing a red, hats and ski masks and stuff on the table bleach. Everything the roads everything everything that Josie Smith described right down the list. Yeah. A hardware store. But everything else is like you see him standing there. It's put on the table. Investigative reporter went out and found a he went through scoured all different kinds of shops until he found the one and they have them on video plain as day. And I've I've now heard on a local Chicago station that up to twelve search warrants have now been issued for phone and financial records for Jesse smollet. So I think they're trying to track down his phone records and the financial records to see if he paid them thirty five hundred dollars. Yeah. So they're they're working on it. All right. We are going to go now out to state Senator representing California's sixth district. Richard panik payback in the program. Oh, good. Steve back. Yes. And so you're again trying to fight the good fight. I I've recently been increasingly concerned about the vaccination crisis because a with the concentrations of homeless and the lack of sanitation. This is the Petri dish for an outbreak to really develop and the and then spread out into the unvaccinated public. What did the surgeon general what was his response? Well, he hasn't directly responded back to me yet. So. Certainly, I I hope that he is going to consider the importance of taking action after all the World Health Organization has declared vaccine hesitancy is one the top ten global health threats and we've had a governor of states in Washington declare a state of emergency. So clearly there's a big problem, and how do we combat this? It's so astonishing to me it's gonna you know, we've we've done such a great job at a Radicati infectious diseases. But I don't see this the vaccine crisis as any different than the lack of attendance to sanitation and the homeless encampments were now we're getting typhus we will get our Sandia. We will get to Burke as though nature has somehow fundamentally change in biology is different now at least exert occur anymore. Of course. They do. Yes, biology. Certainly hasn't changed and contagious. Diseases are still a serious as ever accept. We do have new tools for guessing them. I would point out though that you made reference. People who are homeless they for most part. They're not choosing to be homeless. Stay can't find housing they and they're in a situation that unfortunately pan. Unfortunately, that's not true. San Francisco just found out when they tried to give housing church from housing the eighty percent would turn to refuse to they don't want the housing. And so there it becomes part of the mental illness makes them want to be in this situation. Of course, the politicians are caving to the symptoms of the mental illness right and saying it's some sort of humble free will that they're allowed to exert. When in fact, it's just a symptom of the disorders, but they do not want the housing. Well, I seen though, I I would say spike experience that a formal study indicates that certainly people need access to mental health people the housing and housing getting very expensive. So that's a big challenge. But I would point out that unfortunately, the the the vaccine. Nation problem is one that is that's been caused by actually the spread of misinformation that kind of misinformation is causing parents to be anxious, and then making ill-informed choices, especially when you have groups that are specifically targeting particular populations. We've had outbreaks specifically tied to. But he says where they're low accident rate the vaccination rates because anti vaccine extremists have been targeting those particular populations. We saw that in Minnesota Somali community. There was some targeting of the orthodox Jewish community in New York where there's currently an outbreak. And we've learned also that the X group is targeting Facebook ads at women of childbearing age in Washington as well. And and we know that this, unfortunately, it's happening on social media where. Were many parents actually majority parents see axiom misinformation, and that when they're on social media, they even get guided to vaccine mischief, anti vaccination sites. In fact, actually, my experience I was one time I had a colleague. Sent me a video on YouTube. Click the video to watch him talk about you know, providing vaccines, and what was teed up next on auto play was actually an anti vaccination video. Move to the next video to that was going to be out auto play after this video concluded that's the problem. Yeah. I read that that Facebook and YouTube both have a high rate of when you search for vaccine information that mostly what comes up is a lot of anti vaccination information and propaganda. And they say, I don't know if we can trust them that they're going to try to work on that whatever that means. Well, certainly that's why I call them the surgeon general to address vaccine hesitancy and come up with recommendations about policies that we should be pursuing to ensure that we keep our community safe. And that we. That we be sure that we have community immunity, Dr pan, just curious. I'm the mother of a three and a five year old. My five year old is now in TK and goes to a private Christian school. They all have to be vaccinated. We have to turn in our, you know, the schedule sheet of all the updated information of all their vaccines and. The pediatrician before we moved out to where we move now. Right. When all of this was happening. And there were outbreaks and I remember when we took an into the pediatrician in in Beverly Hills. On her office door. I remember she had printed out on please. If you do not back Senate your children, you are not welcome in my office. Do you have the same policy for people that come to your office as a pediatrician? No, I don't I know that there has been a little controversy. And if he asked quarreled about that because on one hand, certainly understand that as a physician, you don't want your waiting room to be dangerous place other patients. Right. You see patients who may not be able to be vaccinated. They may be being treated for cancer. Or they may have a transplant or some other reason, and you don't want them catching a vegetable could but serious disease in your waiting room at the same time. I want to also be sure that parents who are willing to bring their children in to get medical care are able to get access to good inaccurate information. Now about vaccination about other important things that are child's health. So when we exclude those families we make it harder for them to get that information at the same time, though, how do you protect children that may be are still vulnerable. If you bring around somebody that is not back Sonate. Well, that's that's the challenge. Right. If we actually get her overall vaccination rate high enough in in various neighborhoods that community immunity from having high vaccination rates will make it very unlikely that someone will be actually catch disease and transmitted if they're not vaccinated. Unfortunately, though is because we see particular neighborhoods where the anti anti vaccine misinformation has taken hold that those neighborhoods like Clark county in Washington is where the outbreaks happen. And and so. That's the I think the back and forth because if you're in a community where you have a higher rate of people not getting vaccinated, then it is more dangerous than that waiting room. It does it is more dangerous in that school. Where all the kids are congregating that you're going to have an outbreak. And that's that's the problem was not surprising to in that neighborhood at believe it was up in Washington state that right after that outbreak. And it went from what three children to like twenty-seven overnight that the vaccination response that parents wanting to get the measles vaccine suddenly went up five hundred percent and like the week. Well, actually, I think what it shows is that most parents. Who don't dachshund eight they've been misinformed, and when faced with the reality of that choice, suddenly decide that okay, I need to vaccinate. They're not. They're not hardcore. I won't accident. My children. Unfortunately, there are people out there. And like the people pay for the the Facebook pages targeted Facebook pages and who go around they actually are sowing anxiety, and distrust and misinformation that discourages people and create things already where parents go. Well, I haven't seen the disease, but this is making me nervous. And so I'm not gonna vaccinate children. And that's a problem. And so when does vaccination rates dropped low enough? That's when you have the kind of outbreak, you see, and unfortunately, it doesn't just affect the people who don't vaccinate because people then go out to basketball games. I think there's a trailblazer game. The science museum. Someone brought it over there as well as various businesses, and so does spread in the general population. And I would point out because of actual say, well, if you're vaccinated, why are you worried vaccines? Wonderful MR vaccines ninety seven percent effective. That's really great ninety seven percent. Well, what happens if your child is one to three percent, right? That it's not. And I think about it like playing a lottery you don't wanna win. Right. So if you're not eighty of a ninety percent chance of getting the winning ticket and getting easels if you're vaccinated you have a three percent chance three percents a lot better than ninety percent. But I prefer not to play the lottery at all with that. And so why let it outbreak happened where everyone gets exposed and has a shot at getting the disease clearly a vaccinated person is much better protected against disease, even in an outbreak. But still risks is not zero. And so we just really need to stop these outbreaks room starting in the first place, and that means getting a high enough vaccination rate, and that's what I'm hoping the surgeon general addressing a call to action and saying look we. You need to protect everyone community because there's also people can't be protected if you have a newborn infant is under your age vaccinated. Right. And so there they will be exposed phone. Yeah. Exactly. And is anyone in any way persuaded by the fact that it's foreign agents trying to push this information as a way of dissembling in creating disease in our country. That's Inouye impactful to people I hope people also pay attention to the fact that unfortunately, some of this is that it by. For foreign other actors who don't really wish your community. Well, right. They're trying to create the visionary community. Certainly this is something that if they pushed the anti vaccine message, certainly something that puts his that's our communities endanger. So we should come together and say that we have a mutual responsibility to protect each other. That's what we should do as Americans, and we should come together and accept our responsibility to protect each other. And that means if you can get your child vaccinated and yourself actually,.
