El Salvador Will Use Volcanic Energy to Mine Bitcoin

"El salvador has moved more quickly than anyone thought possible to make. Bitcoin legal tender with more when president naib kelly jumped on nick. Carter's twitter space on tuesday. Someone asked him about bitcoin mining. I think it was actually alex. Gradstein that prompted president kelly to speculate about the potential for bitcoin mining powered by geothermal energy from volcanoes while by the next morning he had initiated a project around exactly that and the ceo of the largest north american minor was up in his comments asking about getting involved. The net of all of this. Was that the possibility of a new mainstream. Narrative of bitcoins capacity for economic empowerment has captured. The imagination of bitcoin is the world over but of course this wouldn't be bitcoin without some controversy and strive to go with it last night. I jokingly said that today's episode is going to have to be called the empire strikes back and this wasn't in reference specifically to the global powers that be getting up el salvador's craw about bitcoin although there is a meeting with the imf today that could provide some insight into their initial reaction to the move in fact as i was prepping. The show preemptive comments from the m. f. came out jerry rice and imf spokesperson said quote adoption of. Bitcoin is legal. Tender raises a number of macroeconomic financial and legal issues. That require careful analysis. Which i mean isn't surprising. Of course they were going to say this. And i'm not overly concerned yet. Instead the empire strikes back comment was about a string of established powers. Ratcheting up their rhetorical and real attacks on bitcoin and crypto at large. Let's head first to china as this is a story that's already started and that has seen some significant developments this week. There was action by two provinces against mining in xinjiang. The local government issued a notice to shutdown crypto mining activities. The shutdown was immediate. Taking place yesterday. On june ninth and the specific focus was on the economic technology development park. This is a fifteen thousand five hundred square kilometer area that houses a number of different coal powered industries

Antonio Brown Re-Signing With Buccaneers on One-Year Deal

"Antonio brown is good. The case could be made over a six year period before he left pittsburgh he was the best receiver. Sense jerry. rice and the thing about receivers are randy. Moss might have this amazing year or two and his talent was you know. Maybe the best avenue randy moss. Another guy might have a year or two but these receivers tend to come and go fast. Now they stick around they might be like. Julio jones is he won the top three receivers. now he's not today but he certainly had times. Wise brown was very consistent very consistent and in just eight games. He had forty five catches as the number three option and what really stood out is his yards after catch or the best on the team so this is not a guy going out of bounds. This is a guy taken the ball and head up the field. I agree very productive. And if you think about it then that's awesome great. Why well obviously there's the author field questions but if you look at the time before the off the field were the questions. This was as productive receivers. We've seen since jerry rice and that's saying something that means maybe the second most productive six year period ever ever. Now he's hitting the wall when it comes to his age Four receivers typically again jerry. Rice was the exception to that even if he drops off a little bit a little bit. 'cause age antonio brown i believe will be at least as good if not better this year. Well how could he drop off and be better. The other circumstances remember he joined the team midseason right as much as he is a pro's pro in a way that in browns able to get acclimated and get integrated. He was paying much better coming into the playoffs now. He did get hurt but to me. His last three or four games were better than his first three or four which is a trend line. I think they continues with a more robust offseason into having the whole time with the team. So net net. I think browns more of a factor

'Masked Singer' spin-off 'The Masked Dancer' to premiere in 8 days

"The premiere of the mask dancer in about eight days. So that'll be coming. We'll be talking about that. We just wrapped up season four of the masked singer. Yeah so you can find all both those shows on the reality rap. He work will the mask dancer be hit. I think the first episode will do well. I just need to envision it. Like i understand why the singers they hit like singing shows do wells. Dancing shows have noticed. There is so think like give it. Those are legitimate stars that you know who's dancing but the league with the mask you could tie is going to be lower for the masked singer and i know there was at least one or two people on the thing this year that like donate wikipedia pages basically so i don't know okay because what support what celebrities agreeing to dance. More people can sing and dance. While i think i think there's some athletes. I've heard some olympians rumors. I don't know but we'll see we'll be interesting thing about all those shows. The athletes are usually like jerry. Rice in theory in sports is like a bigger deal but like he could go on dancing. Th you know what. "Daddy okay. Hook the nineteen ninety-one cult favorite reimagining of a Peter. Pan Lor starring Robin Williams. And Don Bosco you are. I'm just GONNA cut right to an icon. Come on come on man and you have been ever since this this role Rubio and we have so many questions for you. But we're going to start is what has revealed meant to you over. The course of the time. I mean is changed over the years. I did Rouphael when I was fifteen. Start when I was ten before was an actor. I was I'm from me and my brothers from the bay area right. And we're all artists and actors and musicians and poets and we start as break group in the Bay. Area called Street freaks. We popular was in the bay area. Kid You know grew up going to forty niners games in Oakland as games and we ended up dancing for the forty niners and the Oakland A.'s. Halftime shows thirty. Four thousand six hundred that kind of stuff then. We got scholarships the Ballet Company ballet and so we start studying ballet and it was like a real billion Elliott thing kids from St that they picked up and start the world ours and so like being an actor. Artists has been in my family's story since my earliest memories of whatever we were doing you know and so by the time I was fifteen and did hook it was like I mean I was you know somewhat prepared for it because I was studying acting for so long and studying the greats and then I was very much whereas work with greats worked with Spielberg maybe at the height of his powers. Dustin Hoffman is. He's on the Mount Rushmore of the actors. That changed the face of acting the seventy S and whatnot. You Got Robin. Williams is the Godfather improv acting. In one of the great you know give me. The list goes on Maggie. Smith said Bob. Hoskins is like every day is like what's going on here and so I was really prepared to just really do a great job but that never prepares you for character lasting twenty five years later. It's like now I've been Rubio longer than I haven't been Rubio. You know so you know you walk around. And now it's like it means something different to a whole generation as people tattoos of your fifteen year old face on their body crazy. Which you've seen with your I've seen with my own eyes. I've signed people's bodies at kamikaze tattooed on you know. And they name their kids after Rubio and their dogs after Rubio and it means something to just the people at large as far as like this rebel spirit you know and then in mean something completely different to a whole generation of Asian Americans where I get a lot of like. You're the first cool Asian that I ever saw on television as exactly what I was about to say. It's you and I'm dismayed that you hear so often not here and again when you're young you don't really think about it when you big movie in your teenager like even though I was like a trained actor and a pretty solid artists at fifteen is like I just WanNa be cool like plea at the for. The love of God can come out on Friday in theaters and when I go to school on Monday. Ken like some people. Think I'm cool. Where are you going to school at that point in in southern California I was going to school in Southern California? I was in high school Limit town called paramount. And it's right. You know right next to Compton. The crazy thing was this is the nineties s in we got into some trouble me and my brothers in the middle of shooting Hook. We got caught shoplifting. At Serena's mall yes. I needed some isotoner gloves. We needed some isotoner. Glove would use gloves and southern California. I don't know Jerry Rice War on I duNno had some is anyway. We got caught. My parents got so and again when you grown up in the neighborhood and paramount which is like site content but it's more Mexican than black and it's you know gang violence in the nineties and we have friends run drugs. Everything's a lot going on in your young mind like shoplifting is nowhere near anything else going on a neighbor but we got popped. We got in trouble and I was actually in the middle of shooting. Hook which is super strange and the guy that Catis history does mall was like watching. Because he'd seen me in a movie called perfect weapon he's like that's that do from perfect weapon and then. Oh my God. He's they're stealing isotoner gloves So we ended up getting bused to Orange County and started and finished our school at Orange County. The and then I was there when the hook came out. So it's kind like I was a kid in school and the movie came out and I went from a school. I was like predominantly black and Latino to a school in Orange County. That was I think there was twelve black kids in school And like it was like predominantly white. We were like. What are we doing here so that was a school that was that you were in? Hook was coming. Yeah that was I was in when he came out and I was. They thought it was cool. I mean we were cool are here with me and my brother like three. Brown brothers walking around campus with high hair and Super Hip hop kids and then the big movie comes out. And you're like that kid from that movie. I kinda always wished I was in my old school when it came out. Because know you get the extra On the hometown new school. And it's all weird already now. Super

"But I think at the same time, you you can't be foolish enough to think that you're not movable. You just can't beat it. Just you can't be that way keys foolishness or is it just naievety. Is it just that haven't been through it before they they're foolish is you keep expecting something to happen different. Even though it's happened one way every time. That's foolishness naive is just I've never been through this. I thought everybody was going to kind of be cool. And it turns out that everybody's everybody is cool. But everybody's out looking for themselves. I'm not looking out for you. Or average looking out for me. But everybody else is cool. And I'm not looking out for me. I'm looking. For the organization, right. And they have for him better prospect that we get it. But I don't so I should know that you not Anthony Davis already know that. But you also came to me, and they told me all of a sudden I was playing football. You know, we're gonna move you for Jerry. Jerry Rice, we'll we're gonna get Jerry Rice in and and Roger Craig and we will package them up. And we're gonna move you. What I'm what you want me to do? Oh, I got you wouldn't but. Man, which we do. But there's also the factor that if you're Kouzmin specifically, and you're you aware about Anthony Davis. You do have that part down. But you also know that LeBron's showed up you've been balling out with him like those to mess together. Really? Well, right away. You look at BI. He struggled a little bit with them initially. He looked at Lonzo. He's to struggle with his shot. See looking around going. Oh, yeah. I'm good 'cause I'd have fit in really well right out the gate with Brian. And then you find out that while it is true that you fit really well with Brahman the gate. You ain't good your steel eight. They're still going to move you to that's got us thing a little bit. Because you doing everything you think you need to do to justify anything, you think you thank you do. But you may not necessarily be doing it the way that they needed done, which is you getting them over the top. They don't feel like you're a part of what can get to the next stage is a lot of times players of people in general think that because someone specifically have a certain type of numbers in sports that has getting it done doesn't mean it is getting done. Then just means that his points in this way or catches in touchdowns that way, but at the end of the day, I remember when we try to Curtis more than we got rid of age Maria. I couldn't believe like Adrian just rush for like fourteen hundred but it was a different type of fourteen hundred Carter smart rush for like thirteen which is same as fourteen but it was a different thirteen. It was a it was Curtis Curtis. Martin was a seven seven nine fifteen a loss to another seven seven seven eight nice run a forty eight. Morales was a sixty loss loss loss loss, forty gain a one loss loss, but with the the day the numbers. Added up till you look at it. He was like. I like a d but this do cars more. And if this difference between Emma's myth and Barry Sanders. Yeah difference. Yeah. Smartness top ten rushing still right? Which is all time. Always just one name. People miss when you're talking because he just didn't it didn't look a certain type away. But the -ffective is was just ridiculous..

"So I'm still making fun of the idea. Like, I really don't want to have the conversation. Anyway, who was the best receiver other ever? And Furthermore, like I don't want to split the hairs between Randy moss, Jerry Rice te'o and Odell Beckham. Okay. Jerry Rice, let's move on. I mean, you I don't think a lot of people do rings, Jerry Rice. They just do. He did everything better than ever rains help. I mean, okay. Is it is it just three? Then you mix it all up in a little soup. You throw the rings in there the yardage receptions. The did it with two quarterbacks. He did it with the raiders a couple of thousand yards easy, but all on their greatest wop receive forever soup. I think you only about that. Never mind. You'll have what what do you? What do you think? Correct. You're right. You're right about every one. I want to hear what you thought happened. The Jerry got says weekend. Osher vacations are coming up in ten minutes. I just what do I have to do to not talk about this anymore? Bring it up. I know it's my fault. I got I got I know thank you for playing the result in telling me that it's my own fault that I brought this up. I know. I'm just asking you. What do I need to know? What do I need to do right now to never discuss this again with you to go the remainder of my life right with never having another conversation about who's the best wide receiver on heard it's upsetting. But because I love these conversations that you, and I have but just say that Jerry Rice is the greatest ever. That's fine. I didn't say. Ever bring it up again. Okay, fine. Jerry Rice is the greatest wide receiver. I was easy. So here's another tweeter writing in Texas Tech, Auburn Michigan state Virginia this morning. I got tickets for the opera for Saturday night for me. And my girl I'd rather sit through Mozart's lack Clemenza the PTO then watch that horrible collection of lower majors compete for the national championship. Put some respect on Jerry Colbert's name. Okay. Texas team Texas Tech team is good who's Culver, Mike. It's gonna be weird. It is going to be odd to see Texas Tech holding up a trophy. I can't get my head around the idea of Texas Tech at the end they get to win. I don't think the sports writers know how to write that story. I believe that ESPN will cover it very poorly because we don't know what to do with Texas Tech winning at the end the other. I get the more. I wanna see the established programs because I've seen do play. Plenty I actually had seen Texas Tech play. One sounds like they're good. And I had them as my wacky final four entries. So guess who nailed it this guy? But I'm excited to see Texas Tech and Auburn in playing for a national championship in this close. I'm excited to have Bruce Pearl back in my life. But that's the one that has everyone ESPN stay up all night. You're right. Because there's an Auburn story to tell and there's of course, it Michigan state story to tell there's a gin boring Virginia story to tell. But how do you tell the story of the red rado know how to say I don't put it on the poll. Guillermo, does ESPN know how to tell the story of the red raiders because I believe that he is in. Now has now arrived at the one story in sports. It cannot tell. What what do you mean? Texas fach won the title, wait, watch recovering Zion. Williamson all sees it. Oh, we did. We talked every day about Zion. Williamson. I just I forgive me. Okay. College basketball fans, I know that that you don't like the analysis around here. But I'm just telling you there's too much damn defense in this. Final four get them all out of here. Zion sore? I want to watch someone fly through the sky and be wonderful. If yet this everyone getting here on grit and grime I don't want print grind with my final four. It's fine. For just missed making the grit and grime instead of grind. Because he he Jerry was people forget there's about Jerry Rice. He was not a burner. He was he was never the fastest. Now he had speed on. I always remember about Jerry Rice. He was the first wide receiver. I heard announcer say this Jerry didn't slow down out of his cuts Jerry speed from the minute. He left the sidelines. You know, a lot of receivers do a stutter step into their cuts. Jerry, just ran the same speed. That's why even though he wasn't a burner. He was one of the first players. They said he has football speed that Jerry, you know, in the underwear at the combine runs a four six and then in the game runs a four five five that he didn't slow down out of its cuts, and I can remember Pat Summerall and these broadcasters saying there's fast, and then there's football speed. And Jerry Rice could never run like Dion Sanders, but he had football speed. And if you didn't see him play live, he was he and Randy moss were just diff. Well, you see that all the time with college athletes who try and transition or even high school athletes at trenches transition from track speed into football does is a little different. It doesn't work not the it's not the same speed. But Jerry Rice go though, he's unbelievable coming up next. Lebron returned for the Lakers and update on Anthony Davis becoming a Laker. Of African American descent who have been starving to be in a position where they could be Mavericks. Not beholden to the stringent rules and the puppet strings and the muscles of corporate America. They want to be able to do what they wanna do when they wanna do it. How they wanna do it whenever they damn. Well, please. Here's the funny part about that that I often laugh about tell me what person regardless of if misty doesn't want that in their life. Tell me that you listen to a man right now that you see in a man or woman. No matter the ethnishity their color of their skin, their cultural, whatever who doesn't want complete on adulterated control over their life. Everybody wants it. It's not a crime. You know, where the crime comes in? When you think you're entitled to it as you have your hand out for somebody else's money. That makes no sense. And those are the kind of things that we don't talk enough about. When you look at a player. Anthony davis. For example, you want to have the freedom to go where you wanna go and do what you wanna do. Now, one time that I hear you say to the New Orleans Hornets. I'm making twenty five million dollars this year. Here's your money back. I never heard that. When poor thing is got hurt and missed the last thirty four games last season and missed all of the games just for the I v games this season. I never once heard him say Yonex. His your money back. See we don't talk enough about that reality. You know, many times as a pundit commentator or report in inside of the ESPN. I got people rolling up on me. You'll Stephen you speak up on this. Even have it doesn't even have to have anything to do with sports. But because I'm an African American sitting in this position having the cash in a position that I have. Which few of us have been blessed and fortunate enough to have everybody thinks that I should have. The license and the willingness to speak on these issues, and guess what they actually right because me sitting in this position knowing that on one of the few. I have to give a voice to the voiceless. And there's an obligation that I feel a sense to my immunity to have which is why we'll touch on those issues, but touching on those issues as one thing. Echoing the sentiments to express and voice and give voice to an issue. That's pertinent and relevant to our community. Yes. I feel an obligation to do that. But you don't get to tell me how to feel and what I'm supposed to believe. And the reason why that's important is because in today's day and age with these athletes, they wanna do what they wanna do. They want. Everybody to disseminate what they wanted to semi. See just as much as I understand Anthony Davis wanting to leave the smoothie king Reno for the.

"So I just want to say that. Okay. For those out there that a younger and all of that other stuff adult film star. Does that sound better? I like porn star Jimmy though it works anyway back to porzingas. You know, there's a biggest story going on here that everybody needs to pay attention to when it comes to the NBA. What you have is a situation you gotta remember when LeBron James elected to leave Cleveland, the go-to Miami say what you will about him. But he was a free agent. He's spent the first seven years of his career in Cleveland. He wanted a different experience. He went to south beach on his own after he served his time in Cleveland. He went to Miami. He gave them for years. Got them the four straight NBA finals appearances won two championships elected to be to take his services back to Cleveland, but he was already a free agent. Okay. Whether we like it or not he did his tante. He honored his commitment when he was free to go. Elsewhere. That's what he did. That's not what's happening. Now. That's not what happened with Carmelo Anthony when he forced his way out of Denver. That's not. What hap that's what's happening or what happened with Kyrie Irving when he forced his way out of Cleveland. That's not what happened with Anthony Davis now who's trying to force his way out of New Orleans. And so what you have is if you'd think for one second that this is about the Lakers in the Lakers getting an Anthony Davis. For example, you're missing the boat. This is about the NBA with various teams in various small markets collaborating with one another in an effort to try to influence, the New Orleans pelicans to stop them from shipping him to LA because if you capitulate to those demands to a God is a superstar, but is under contract for the next year and a half. You've completely depleted in wiped out the power that a team has to hold you to your contract. That's why went wild Leonard wanted to leave San Antonio. Gregg Popovich and the Spurs sent out of the country Toronto, they say, you go to L if you want to, but it's not gonna be hands is going to be through somebody else's hands. 'cause we're not giving you that power, and they're encouraging warnings to not give Anthony Davis that power, the New York Knicks capitulating and giving away porzingas and a lot of people's eyes. They they caved, and that's what people have a problem with. I think the difference with the New York Knicks that it's to the disadvantage or it would have been to their disadvantage to keep porzingas because if he signed a qualified he basically went into the room, ladies and gentlemen, and said if you keep me I'm gonna sign a qualifying offer that qualifying offer which would have to happen. This summer is a one year deal after you sign a qualifying offer. You are an unrestricted free agent free to go elsewhere to following year without them getting any compensation..

It's not my choice that's up to Kevin Lynch and also John Lynch. I mean, I mean John Shanahan. In cal- Shanahan that's up to those guys. Stephen a Smith. You know what I'm saying? But I'm just delivering the message got it. You see what I'm saying? And we would love to have him in San Francisco. I got to be honest with you, man, because the way where are you living these days, I'll I'm seeing northern California, man. Yeah. We need hang out sometime. You know what? This. California. I live half Hennessy on rocks. Yeah. I know you like him see and coke and stuff. I did we can chill man. You know, what it is is damn cold? What you're talking about where you told me about coding or the California. I'll be damned if it ain't look I had to go through Chicago one year for championship game. And it was like in the teens. You gonna tell me you Fairweather. Like that man. When I hit a words, California. I'm thinking warm sunshine palm trees, if I don't hear that associated with California. I have no use Ford. That's me. Todo? Was a tough guy, man. Cold weather hail. No, i'm. Admit it. Appreciate you. My man. I'm proud of you as always always good to talk to you hear from you all the best to you. Okay. Man. I love you, man. You all time. Yeah. All right. My men play the one and only Jerry Rice the greatest wide receiver in the history of the National Football League right here with Steven A, ESPN radio ESPN news. I really don't understand what the hell say right now, you're not willing to admit that you just have a personal affinity for the San Francisco forty nine. Why the hell would you suggest that Antonio Brown needs to be there? I got a state this for the record. I'm before I get back to porzingas. I'm really sick and tired of this. Love porn star. Jimmy gets. That's right. Jimmy Garoppolo this right? Porn star. Jimmy. That's what I called him. And you know, let me give an inside joke because as Mickey Mouse, you know, ESPN is Walt Disney's, you know, they own us. Oh, just as Mickey Mouse. And everybody's always in an up rule. You know, my producer just, you know, just do my producer right over there. Jonathan went to one of the wildest, dude, you wanna meet in my life and your life, but I'll say porn star Jimmy and his face cringes. Ooh. You know, Tim with it. The producers back in Bristol, Connecticut, New York, cal- LA, everyday do excuse me. Jimmy Garoppolo without with a pool and star in Hollywood knowing that the pup rot season the cameras everybody was there. He knew that. And he went out there any with what opponents now, I'm night. I I don't have a problem with that to each is. Oh, but what I'm trying to say is that we didn't hesitate to say he was out would have poured saw. So what's wrong with me? Calling them porn star. Jimmy. What's wrong with that? I'm not changing that it's going to change it. It's going to be executive orders from the top. Because guess what? It's accurate if you go out with a porn star before you're damned pass for particular season. Anyway, all right. And you're more recognized for that date. Then you off any damn touchdown passes your through in the season because it got hurt game too. Whatever the reason why you relevant is that your point start Jimmy. I don't see the problem that I'm not and by the way, so the two Jimmy Garoppolo and the family of Jimmy Garoppolo in his not an insult you understand to each his own young single men good-looking do can quarterback protege working behind Tom Brady, clearly has some skills. Bill Belichick wanted to keep you you were seven and knowing your I seven starts as a quarterback haven't been able to say healthy got hurt. A New England got her when you got to San Francisco after you got one hundred thirty seven million, by the way, by the way, he went out with the point. So after you've got one hundred million dollar contract four. So it wasn't like she was out with porn star Jimmy before he got paid. But that's neat. The point is it happened. And that's okay..

"It was just like it was just unreal. The way he played in the football game, Jerry resolute, Jerry Rice. Let me move on with this quick. First of all, let's get right to it. Who you picking the win this game? You don't think guy is hard for me to pick one. All I ever diction. Whoever wins this game. Guess what they're gonna do. They gonna be toasting with Hennessy. I'm I'm at at that they're gonna be Hennessy and our -plore debt. But I'm who the hell is going to be Tom Brady Bill check or Jerry golf, and Sean McVay. We'll have to wait and watch it watch this play out, man. What What? matter which? Hall of fame of experts. Scared to make predictions. Joe don't make me come through this this wire to get to you. You ain't got you. Don't wanna mention maybe you don't wanna make me. Let me tell you one more thing that parent and they're saying, you know, who's the goat. There's a for. I was. They talking about Tom Brady and acting like Tom Brady should be the goat over Joe Montana. Your quarterback that helped the liver some Super Bowl championships to you are you of that feeling jer? What did I just say to you? I said there's a fraternity of goes. Yes, Tom Brady is a goat. Yes. Joe Montana is a goat. Yeah. You're not taking one over you or go, Stephen Smith. You'll goat man. Appreciate his of all time. Appreciate that. Thank you so much, and I'm touched by that. But. Check in the mail, man. Dan, right. I ain't gonna put the check in the middle. But I still wanna know Tom Brady compared to Joe Montana because you play. Era. Okay. The different Arab. And and what he's doing at the age of forty one. You know, you've got to take your head off to all seriousness Jerry Rice because we got Jerry Rice here on behalf of Hennessy the greatest wide receiver in the history of the national football, right? Hit was Stephen ESPN radio. ESPN news. You've been on a record being supportive of the great Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ultimately coming to San Francisco how you wanted to be traded. He wants out of Pittsburgh. He wants to be he wants to come to San Francisco. Here's where I'm surprised you. And I love Antonio do. Go ahead. Here's where I'm surprised you were a you were a model of professionalism throughout your career, you strongly believe in put your head down putting in the work and just being great at what you did. You wasn't about the drama in it by any stretch of the imagination. Clearly, a B is to some degree. And he's even taught us that because as much love my man Teo. From a pub bliss ity. He contacted me say, hey, Jerry, look, you know, I would love to work out with you. And then the conversation changed a little bit. He said, yeah. You know, maybe San Francisco, I said, man, I say San Francisco, I said, if we could bring you to San Francisco, man, I mean with the players that we have in place right now, God, this is going to send a message to the fans that we're not waiting and trying to win two or three years down the road. "Brother, so Hennessy dot com slash US. You know, Jerry. I I mean, I listened to you right now. And I I don't know if you notice do, you know, the Hennessy's my favorite drink. I drink. See coke every weekend. At least agree on something. It relaxes me. It definitely relaxed. She'll good that we can agree on something brother has never stopped. Never settle. I mean, you did it as a football player. I do it with my my career in television, never stopped never subtle. I'm constantly after it. So I've taken lessons from one of the greatest if not degraded of all time, while unquestionably the grades wide receiver and NFL history, the one and only Jerry Rice as you stand here for Super Bowl. Fifty three was the first thing jumping into your mind about this particular match it with New England versus the Los Angeles. Rams. I think it's just that. Even even though I'm not playing in a game nervous. I was always nervous doing big games. And but it brought out the best in me. You look at New England. Yeah. You know, they got the experience they got probably one of the greatest quarterbacks over play the game. You know, they have a legitimate running game. They got a go-to guy, which I feel is element. Then you got gronk. So they got some weapons on offense. They have a good defense. The Rams, you know, they don't have all of that experience. They don't have all that knowledge about you know, being on the big stage. But then you got Donald you guys sue and they're going to have to get the Tom Brady and try to rattle him a little bit. And then a secondary going to have to do a good job of you know, keeping everything underneath. You know as interesting you bring that up because here's what I'm looking at. We've talked so much about Tom Brady and the greatness of Tom Brady, I don't understand how that hasn't enabled us to transition to Jared Goff being a third year quarterback going up against a genius, Bill Belichick. How come nobody's brought that up? You know, I think the thing is to in. Stephen hit. Here's the deal. And I always say this, and no one felt that Clemson would beat Alabama. So well, I certainly think they was gonna beat their what's the way to. They did let me tell you something. I'm gonna tell you something. So Dwight Clark went to Clemson. Okay. Dow both sweetie wanted me to come in and talk to the team the Saturday before that money, you know, game go in talked to the team, and I talked to the team about teamwork and working together. And and one that the guy next to you got got your back. And you know, I talked to the receivers by using double move. Triple moves coming off the line of stretch. And these guys, you know, they talk about their defense as being one of the best. I said you guys going to get a chance to go up against the best team Alabama. How you going to respond to that? So I feel you know, as a as a as a team the ramczyk a little it chance you got to be able to slay that dragon. So they deserve to be here. But Tom Brady is not gonna make it easy for him. And and and the patriots they deserve to be here. So it should be a good football game is interesting that you told me you win that locker room the Saturday before. That Monday night national championship game between and Alabama. 'cause this kid Justin Rose, a true freshman out of L, right? Clemson over Alabama. I mean, my God we might be about him comparing him to you in years to come. That's bad young bed. Young mayor at your what he was doing. He was killing it, then he hit me up on social media. He said, Jerry I used that. Triple double movie, you told me to do. So it made me feel good, man. But then, you know, trouble Lawrence the freshman special. I've met this guy when he was important. He was at a Nike camp. And the way he threw the ball his composure..

I'm still mad at you, and my anger towards you has been dating back years, and I have to tell you what you talking about. You mentioned quite you came off, right? Quite frankly years ago when I have on television show on ESPN tubes a decade ago. Okay. Just finished doing dancing with the stars. And if I recall winning dancing with the stars. No, I did not win. No, no. Would you do what you to run came? Yes. I did. I got to beat Shane. Okay. Well, let me tell you something you're dance pretty damn good. And you came quite frankly, and you show dance moves that. I couldn't imitate. So as it was wrong because everybody knows I can't incident, and you all your food to take some lessons. It's all your fault. Well, you don't be blaming me. I am blaming you. Because dammit, you can't I can't I can't help you dance. What you try? I'm not to pay me to give you lessons. Don't play NFL football anymore. I need a job come on. Now. Jerry Rice, first of all what have you been doing? Which is because you're on behalf of NFC. First of all talk about what you're doing with Hennessy, and what's going on with that. Let's yeah. Hennessy is they have of a righty of COMEX cognac brandy and is made in cognac France and two hundred fifty years they have celebrated this with their customers. And you have the never stop the never settle attitude, and that was something that I did in professional football. So hey with the big Super Bowl coming up probably gonna be Hennessy on rocks are might go to Hennessy x ole which is extra extra old. You know, what I'm saying.

"Brought to you by straight talk wireless. Best phones. Best networks, no contracts. My apologies. So those out there. I don't sound like myself. I feel great. I'm not sick or anything like that. I just lost. My damn voice. I've done about literally about twenty seven different interviews over the last thirty six hours. So because of that my voice is a little bit shot. But I'm here, and I'm gonna plug on through the great Jerry Rice will be on the show with us in just a minute. So I wanted to stay before he comes on his show one. It's let everybody in New York. Know that I'm going to touch on this Kristaps Porzingis trait at some point because his the deal a lot of people are getting on the New York Knicks and your your you've gotten pundits. And everybody talked about New York Knicks getting the past. Let's be very very clear, the New York Knicks suck. Okay. Let me be very very clear for those that think that somehow, someway, I'll pull punches I believe in Steve mills, and I believe in Scott Perry, and I believe the future in which they're trying to take this franchise into but the Knicks stink and they have stunk. And that's why I'm so supportive of this move. Because if a guy like Kristaps Porzingis comes to you and tells you I don't want to be here. If you try to keep me here, you don't trade me I'm going to sign a qualifying offer and a qualifying offer mandated by the league's collective bargaining rule. Stipulates that you can only signed for one year. And after that one year, you are an unrestricted free agent. You essentially stripped the team that you're on a all the leverage that they have for you. So in order for the New York Knicks to maximize the value that they have the Kristaps zingers. They had to make a move now because you didn't wanna keep him. Onboard telling you he wanted out essentially indicating the you that he was gonna let perspective free agents know that he wanted out, and I'd advise you not to come here as well. You can't let somebody like that stay on your team when you're trying to attract a marquee free agent in the offseason, which is why you turn around you move him. You create seventy five million dollars in cap space, giving you enough dollars to get to max players, and it puts you in the running to compete with the Brooklyn nets to compete with the lost Angeles Clippers to compete with teams like the Lakers, the Dallas Mavericks and others for the marquee free agents out there is the only chance you have. Now, does it work. Hell, no. We don't it doesn't work until you get those free agents, the New York Knicks on the clock there under immense pressure to get something for losing porzingas. But understand they had no choice in my estimation. Because the man didn't want to stay there. He wasn't going to stay here. And nobody was going to come. If they had to come by themselves to join the New York Knicks and the be the successor to porzingus instead of playing alongside porzingas. That's why you had to let him go. But I'll get an all of that a little bit more as the show progresses. Right. Here's Stephen Smith show ESPN radio. ESPN news is my man on the line right.

"Each writer than you on CBS sports radio. What's up? Welcome back into the show, Bill Reiter with you. We got full phone lines. So let's do it. Let's get into it at eight five five two one two four CBS talking about the definition of what makes greatest football player of all time. Whether it is automatically a quarterback or whether you didn't start somebody else into that. Spot ahead of me Tom Brady, if it's a QB feels like the answers, Jerry Rice Conrad in Milwaukee. Thank you for listen, buddy. You're on CBS sports radio. Bill pleasure. As always and a big shout out to my wife. Rachel is. I'm out on a pizza run on a cold winter night. And she's listening on the big. The zone in Madison. Rachel sorry. This is this is a great topic because it causes a lot of dialogue and your phone lines lit up because you know, how to put a good show together. So here's the deal when you do this you're causing a lot of chaos because you gotta look at like what players caused the pressure against the opposing team. So you've got to go. You can't just go like one player, and you can't say the top three or offense. You gotta be fair. And I was thinking to myself was on hold Reggie White with probably the guy but on defense because the Packers probably wouldn't even have had their third stoop Super Bowl championship. If it wouldn't have been for Reggie White. Not Brett Farr quarterback. You gotta go Tom Brady. He's got all the rings. He's able to tell the field. He's shown that with the best wide receiver ever. He ended up with a undefeated regular season. So anyway, those are mind, but man, I gotta say L T is like right up there. So I would give LT and Reggie White. A tie. But then going quarterback definitely Tom Brady later Kara. What's up buddy shout out to your wife? Rachel shut off to my wife. Lori. Shoutout to whoever will someday be the traces why what's going on there? Oh is that sue the your lessons? Just kidding. There's no marriage. Doug. Trey dumping trays eight five five two one two four CBS. That was not cool by me is your girlfriend listening right now. I hope not. Oh, I was just I was going for a little, you know, trying to make you feel part of the show. But you know, how old are you twenty four you have to wait ten years. That's that's the deal. Right. L is gonna have to just there's no rush. Your phone calls. Let's go there. You're on CBS sports radio. Great show. Hey member I told you that the patriots where the Rodney Dangerfield team and they would win. You did I was writing. Listen Bill this contest not hope Brady, and I'm old enough in my seventies. I've seen Montana, and he was great. But I wanted to tell you something about Brady not only did he go to Super Bowl. And you know, a time we wanted five he had twenty one straight with. He was the biggest. And this is a topic of the biggest steal in draft. History drafted six and look what he's done at one hundred ninety nine. He got the MVP. He got all fifty volts. No one voted against him one year. And he also in two thousand eleven the NFL voted for the top player in history and guess who wanted on braid wanted. So. That's super. Comeback Bill down twenty eight to three. The game off. No way this guy could come back and only Tom Brady could do what he did come back and we're not Super Bowl down by twenty five points in the second half. This guy has done wreckage that nobody seen Jerry Rice. And it's true. You know, what he had Montana but Tom Brady app receiver after receiver to receive a he's like he's like LeBron James. He makes no matter who it is a better player. And you know, he has a check I'm not ballot. Check doesn't have a suit on your eyes other catching Zadie love the call Stu we got to see whether or not, you know, you've been listening to the show that you produce. Who is Rodney Dangerfield? That might be a problem. We have this talk last week with Eddie called in and drop the reference who is Rodney Dangerfield. I'm blanking. Not having a traits moment. We. You're like. Milkshakes. A flavor at a restaurant. No who is running Dangerfield. It's like a. Boy, I don't I don't know. I don't know. I don't know guess actor what kind. The comedy. I dunno. Okay. Eight five five two one two four CBS right down that traced already on Craig in Alabama. He's a comedian. He's a comedian Stu Greg in Alabama. You're on CBS sports radio. How do we not know who? Greg. I can't I can't answer your question. It's a fair question. I have no idea. We'll hey, look everybody else. Brady's boss. Great. Go. Uh-huh. Thanks buddy, you know, Casey on Twitter, sportswriter, sports REIT are makes a similar point. When I think of a player being the best way of all time. I ask myself connect player be put on any team and have success there. And based on some of the boy you've just heard it feels like that is the case with Brady it really does. And I know this is a tired storyline and people are over it. People are tired of Brady success in winning ways. But I gotta say it again. The guy was not a top pick in the draft is in the least he was. So I mean what he's accomplished without people on the field without a number of weapons. I mean Randy moss did more for Matt mccaslin than he did. In some ways for Tom Brady. Got Matt castle paid moss made castle but Brady rejuvenated Moss's career. Even the one example of a hall of Famer. So yeah, let's get the context. Right. Eight five five two one two four CBS is the phone number. We may get to Michael Lee. But we may we may move Michaels, a friend. We may move him. We have full phone lines. And Stu loves it. Like Ed include before him when we bump guests. So if you wanna talk eight five five two one two four CBS is the phone number. We're trying to get your calls on this topic here on righter than you with me. Bill Reiter lines are full bear. With a stick with us. We'll keep it rolling after the CBS sports radio update with rejection..

Ex-Steelers OC Bruce Arians says Antonio Brown isn't same player Pittsburgh drafted

"Of Antonio Brown. And he was the offense coordinator at one point in time before leaving Pittsburgh. And then joining the staff of Chuck Pagano in Indianapolis, and then becoming the colts interim coach as he battled cancer Picado dead and successfully thanked out and it became the Arizona Cardinals head coach. And now as the town. Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach. And that is Bruce Arians who said that he would not be interested in in Antonio Brown that he's too much of a diva. Antonio Brown is is not the same player. That the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted not physically we're talking about. Now. We're talking about everything else that comes along with Antonio Brown. Besides his ability to help you out and special teams and catch the football as an NFL wide receiver. Yeah. You know, Arians, basically said he's heard a lot of stories about as recent how he is speaking of Antonio Brown. And he said he plays as hot as anybody on Sunday. He practice really hard to. But you know, he's he's basically said as a paraphrasing. He's got him. He totally Brown's gotta make better decisions off the field as far as his punctuality and stuff like being being on time and whatnot. That's we said, so it's pretty interesting new head coach, you know, you've been in the broadcast booth for a year your new head coach of the box. This guy's a Steeler kinda. And I honestly coached them. It's you know, it's interesting to hear him say that about him. So it doesn't sound like Brown be going to Tampa Bay anytime soon. No. It doesn't sound like that. And that's the concern. I mean, you know, you can listen to every former NFL player, whether it be Jerry Rice and others say that he wants to be a San Francisco forty nine or that's great. I may it's great. And I do we both are in agreement TASR that Antonio Brown's gonna get traded this off season by the Pittsburgh Steelers. OB fascinating the team that he does go to am. I telling you that he's a losing player. Antonio Brown can help you in football games. But I will say that there's a lot of headaches now Brown and distractions. Yeah. Great point that Antonio Brown brings to the table that I don't know if there's a lot of NFL head coaches that are going to go out and look to embrace it. I really do. And that's the issue. I have with Brown is I don't want to deal with the nonsense. I really don't as Aaron said, you know, there's the little things that he doesn't do shop to shop to practice on time show up to meetings on time. You know, you're asked to run a hot return a walk-through run the run the hot read. What are you? What are you doing here? I mean, come on. Exactly nervous. I understand what you thought. I was going. I remember where it was funny. I mean, honestly, I it's not that difficult to it's not that difficult for Antonio Brown to handle his responsibilities. Yeah. I completely agree. I've never heard that before I was refunded. Agree with you to moves by. Yeah. Yeah. It was great. Yeah. Man. You know, I think you're going to get some coaches that are that will some teams that will wanna take that chance because how talented these days. We've all in all careers separately. You and I coming up in in all world separately. Right. I'll separate worlds. I'm sure you've come across the state me. All you've heard of guys that you may be going to do business. What guys or girls that you're going to do business? What that you've heard a lot of negativity about. And what's the first thing you said yourself? Well, I okay. This person's talented. I'm going to judge them for once. I get to know them. You give them that. You know what? I mean. I, you know, my wife always taught my son that you might hear things about someone judge them. I from how you judge them. Okay. Take defamation here. But a lot of times it could be hearsay on the advice. It is with this guy here. It's been a like him himself. He's combustible. He's tweeting stuff. Meaning it's Brown. He's been doing a lot of stuff. He's creating he's adding a ton of gasoline to these little fires that war with the Steelers in Hammond Tomlin. So if you're another coach, my point is that I do think some of the coaches or a coach will say, okay. This guy's really talented. He's a superstar. He's going to put as we going to put people to seats in the building. Okay. And and these stadiums role big he's a draw. He's going to draw people. He's a star. I so we've heard all this bad stuff about them. Just like Erin said, I've heard the stories a younger coach hypothetically might say. Well, I wanna to take that chance. I've heard the stories too. But I'm going to judge Antonio foot for what what I see we're going to take a chance on him. And that's what then you gotta hope for the best because he's gonna end up somewhere. Most you know, he's just too damn. And that's a fair way to fair way to look at it by also think that if you're having issues with a player friendly coach, Mike Tomlin, see, I I think there are guys that can't work and play for Bill Belichick. I think there are guys that can't work and play for other disciplinarians like a go back a couple years go back years ago. Bill Parcells right there. There are guys it just it just doesn't work. Now, if you can't play for a guy like Mike Tomlin, who's bent over backwards to placate you over the course of your career as you've changed with the success as your personality is changed with the money. All of that is well deserved because it's earned. I'm not talking about his personality all the money that comes his way. Tasr? I also have to look at that. Same of you have issues with Mike Tomlin, what the hell are you gonna do here? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, Mike cobblers a really is he's apprentice coach player friendly code. But there will he will be playing in the National Football League next year, you'll be making seventeen eighteen million dollars a year. God bless, but there's there's a lot. There are other guys as Bruce Arians said, I think there are a number coaches to say, I don't want daddy. Deal with that. I don't want that toxic person in your locker room. That's what you don't want. You know, you don't want that. Like, I'm a bills fan as you guys know, and I I love all young quarterback. And if we gotta Antonio Brown. I think that'd be amazing. Be awesome. But I would worry that he would like inadvertently mess. What the Josh out? I would worry about that. And I think that's a fair fair concern. But I think that a lot is coaches will judge him. For what they think and and meet with him Suez heads out, and let's just I just play a little bit on Antonio Brown side. He's been with the same organization right out of college. Right. So seven eight years, whatever it is sometimes difficult to paint. Sometimes you you'll be in better behavior. When rental the people a change of change of environment sometimes could help, and maybe that's what he needs, and maybe things will change. And may maybe

"It's after hours here on CBS sports radio. I know we're not quite in the same twilight zone as we were with Tom Brady, and Jerry Rice, and Freddie kitchens and the eyes of Adam gays twenty four hours ago, but this is also things that make me go not things that are bad for my health. But things that go Jerry Jones, he wants you to believe that he's not irritated. And not miffed at the questions about Zeke and Jack and Jason Garrett every other player on the roster. But I'm not buying it. Are you asking me to we won't zoo in the foreseeable future on the Dallas Cowboys, the answer's yes. That'd be madness think any differently. You ask a question about back in the answer is yes, I won't him in the short term and the long term now. That's that's something. But Zeke, it's like asking if you. Martin or if he won't Smith, certainly we do. And again, this may sound a little I'm on. It's just that some of these won't longs for future. Byron Jones a lot of these guys. Yes. Now getting there. Hell I want a bigger boat. No you bought a two hundred fifty million dollar yacht. You do not need a bigger boat. Bigger boats. I mean, I just like a boat. Hey, like one of the helipads off of your boat. I mean, come on. Are you kidding me? The eyes of Adam gazer watching you Jerry Jones you'd like a bigger boat. You just got these. You got the two hundred fifty million dollar yacht. But did you get the sense that he wanted to say da? I kind of felt like that was really what he wanted to say was you think bigger boat. Okay. Thanks chair on what? Oh, five three the fan. His weekly appearance on our Dallas.

"Five five two one two four two two seven that's eight five five two one two four two two seven. You know who wants to be on a reality show Antonio Brown. Do we have the Facebook live video that was his attempt at reality show TV? Plus he's done the math the math. It's not an easy word to say the mass singer. Nope. The math singer and dancing with the stars though. I do not remember how he finished. But I do know he was on dancing with the stars. Now, Jerry Rice who was also on dancing with the stars. Who is also a great wide receiver, though, not diva like that wasn't equality with Antonio are with Jerry Rice. Maybe Antonio will rub off on him though, because they keep in touch via FaceTime. Apparently. So there was a photo that was posted to Instagram of the goat and Antonio Brown on FaceTime. And of course, that's bird questions when Jerry Rice did an interview with ninety five seven the game a sports radio station in the bay area. They tiptoed lightly. I'll tell you as they brought up. They went through all the different divisional, football games and rises opinion of this. And that and then one of the hosts tentatively brought it up and said, if you don't mind could we ask you about that conversation that picture with Antonio Brown and your FaceTime. Antonio now, we we have always kept in communication and this guy man, he's totally complete team player. I don't know what happened what in Pittsburgh. But I know that you know, this guy if he comes here to San Francisco, he's going to do everything possible to his team to win. And when you got a titanium like, George, kiddo. You got you know, pretty good running game. Jimmy G is going to be healthy and ready to go. If you can put a receiver on the opposite side like Antonio Brown, and it can really take this ball game to a whole different level. And is also expands the message fan that. Hey, look, we're not looking down the road win. We're looking to win right now. And that type of player big play maker that can you know that can make those big plays. And really put a lot of fans in the stands. Do you get the sense that he would like to play for the forty Niners? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He he wanted to come here. He's he's talking about running the hill with me doing all of that. And just working out. No, just picking my brain. And and you know, I don't know. If it's gonna happen because it's going to be up to Cal Shanahan and also John Lynch, but you know, I'm all for it. If if they want him to come on board, and I'm looking forward to I would be looking forward to. From that knowledge onto him and being around this guy because I know he's great individual. Okay now. Jerry Rice is phenomenal. I've had conversations with in the past before he's accommodating. He's kind he's open. He's a he's a great interview. But we should not ignore the fact that he's also off target on Antonio Brown a complete team player of all the things you could say about Antonio Brown. That is not accurate even his own teammates will not call him a complete team player. In fact, one of his teammates went public and said our locker room is like the Kardashians. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. A complete team player. Couldn't you have said. He's an incredible talent couldn't use that. He's an upgraded the wide receiver position. Could you have said the the guy can catch any ball? You throw it in couldn't use that. He's in the private career. Okay. I'll even give you great guy. Great individual, which is what he finished with. But a complete team player. That's actually the opposite of what an Tonio Brown is. So take it with a grain of salt because not even the Steelers locker room. We'll call it may complete team player, even when they're being politically, correct. But the part that is is more important really is that Jerry Rice with or without the endorsement of the San Francisco forty Niners said. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Four yes. He meaning Antonio Brown wants to come here, really bad. And again, this is an interview he did on ninety five seven the game with Joe low and dibs. So in the bay area. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He wants to come here. Really bad. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I got the I got the inflection wrong. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Either way he was answering the question in the affirmative more than once. He wants to come here really bad hoof a complete team player though. Again, everything he said after that. I'm I'm looking at him with Adam gates is it's after hours with Amy Lawrence on CBS sports radio. I can't help it. I'm trying to get away from the Adam gates is. And then you guys keep sending me memes about Adam gates. Here's one that. I that. I really like it comes from Arrowhead pride, which is apparently a chiefs Twitter for your for fans, but it has almost one hundred thousand followers, and it's got the screen shot of one Adam gates with his eyes sewn wide open. And it says when you realize at some point you're going to be asked to beat Patrick Mahomes with Sam darnold. I mean. Sam darnold got a lot of potential and we haven't seen the best of Sam darnold yet. Anyway, the videos the videos are out there, and I get their distracting may consult would make them go away. Can you please make this Adam gates go away? Put the Adam gates back in the bottle with the genie. 'cause I watch it anymore. Eight five five two one two four two two seven. So that is one Jerry Rice on Antonio Brown sticking in the AFC north. I am not at all surprised that Baker Mayfield. And Freddie kitchens have headed off. I feel as though they may be kindred spirits after hearing what Freddie kitchens had to say in his first official press conference as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. Let's not fool ourselves. This game is about winning everything we do in organization from the football side of things and moving forward with the organization, we're together if you don't wear Brown and orange you don't matter. What I mean to me? Coach kitchens. I understand the point is the Brown and the orange and those are your team colors, but. Two thousand nine thousand nine hundred age of inclusion we include everyone, so it's not just Brown and orange that matter we include red and yellow someone going on, Freddie, kitchens racist racist. I mean, this is the age where everyone gets a trophy. So I have to disagree coach. Or if you don't wear Brown and orange. You don't matter. Defiant. He is. That's exactly why he and Baker Mayfield appeal to one another that they speak the same language. You don't matter. I do you get w otherwise or else at you with the eyes of Adam gays. Also stock crowing about how the Browns nearly made the playoffs and almost got back to five hundred are only go ever one. It drives me crazy people were happy with seven eight and one it drives me literally crazy NFL was in a different setting out. My vocabulary would demonstrate that you know, that's not acceptable. Now. Would you say that to people who wear Brown and orange because those people matter remember? Did Freddie gays give us, Freddie, gays. One person. It's Freddie who better be wearing Brown and orange every frigging time. I see him that means ever wearing anything else. Besides Brad and orange guess what? Freddie gays. You don't matter. If you don't wear Brown and orange. You don't matter ever you better be wearing head to toe Brown and orange. You don't matter. I got you. Wow. Does he send his kids to school and nothing but Brown and orange to the kids? I don't actually know that that was kind of a rhetorical question. Anyway, the eyes of Adam gays, they're watching you to Freddie, kitchens shoot. Maybe that was why we got the the giant eyeballs of Adam case because your kitchen say if you don't wear orange and Brown, you don't matter and there's poor Adam gays in a suit and was it a green tie. I don't know. But he's definitely was not wearing orange Brown. Freddie kitchens you ruined Adam gays, and now we've got the highs case. Okay. I do feel bad. But it's too good. Not. Even funnier is the fact that I work with two jets fans who are so annoyed. Not only were they sure that Adam gates was the wrong higher. But now the eyes of out of watching them too. And they can't stand it. Are you guys wearing brought and orange because if you aren't you don't matter. No, okay. We've been similarity some hoops, we've been don't tell me summarily dismissed we've been summarily dismissed by both Freddie kitchens and the is. Did he do that is press conference? That would affect everything. Maybe that's why he was. I.

"I mean, you saw you saw Jerry Rice changed teams would be awesome. And Antonio Brown is in that tier? She's in the Larry FitzGerald Jerry Rice tier of. You know, one of the top three to five best wide receivers in the history of football. Okay. All right. You guys don't move on Julio. Who not's down Joe? Yeah. There was a point in the season. I'm telling you this just sharing a story from our league of record is the point in the season. Our trade deadline's coming up who knows got like two one touchdown on the air. And I had the chance. Someone offered me. Odell Beckham junior are I'm sorry. I I was offered Julio for Odell straight up and I'm looking at playoff matchups and who to play and how to break down my playoff matchups and I loved what I saw from Dell. And I told myself I said if I do this straight Julio so due to score like it's coming it's coming, and I couldn't believe it. Now, obviously that bit me hugely because Kista Beckham was out and the end of the year. Yeah. Julio was not the first seven games Julio Jones at exactly no touchdowns zero. Nothing nil zip. And then in the next nine games. He had eight touchdowns a fourteen touchdown. Pace on a full season. Is this something clicked something ice was broken? And and Matt Ryan and Julio just figured it out. Yes. You know because one hundred thirteen receptions, sixteen hundred seventy seven yards one hundred seventy targets. This was more the law of averages than anything else. He's going to catch the ball. All over the field ages started getting into the end zone when you have one hundred thirteen receptions, some of those are going to happen. I mean, look we've seen him snake bit for a while. I'm not concerned about it. Now, they switch over to Dirk cutter. Again at office of tornado any of plenty of wide receiver touchdowns in Tampa. Yeah. And I'm just like in love with sixteen hundred and seventy seven yard year more than anything else. Eight touchdowns in the end six percent bus game. Seventy five percent, good forty four percent great. That's a huge great person. I to me the highest grade percentage of anybody so far he is the guy when I look at tyreek hill, and I say. We'll tired to kill make my top five where I when I come staring down the barrel next year at tired of kill or Julio right now. I lean Julio is got a larger body work a larger body as well. He's only going to be thirty thirty is not the death age for wide receivers. Usually that comes around thirty one thirty two, you know, that's the Logan's run. So julio. You know, it's not like with cutter coming back. You've got to do the I need to seasons for Matt Ryan goes to the system he's already been there. So I I think Julio is going to be a great play that this is what I'm saying. The top of the top of next year is wide receiver class, a strong is very strong. And we haven't even talked about someone that I expect will be ahead of some of these names next year. But probably shouldn't be. The next guy on the list. Well, done I wanna say this Julio in mount Ryan that connection reminds me so much of what you had established between Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson for many years like you can kind of print the fifteen hundred plus yards because you even brought in Calvin Ridley you've had changes at the running back position. You've got Muhammad new different players, but Julio's just going to get his because at the end of the day when Matt Ryan's running for his life. He throws it to number eleven throws to Julio touchstone. How are you about to insult? Michael thomas? Cheer darn right? I am that is insane. Because Michael Thomas, our number six on the list, your one hundred and twenty-five or sections, which by the way last year one oh seven we thought that was nice one twenty five for fourteen o five and nine on one hundred and forty seven targets have your way. Jason this ever. Go ahead ever seen before nor could even envision or imagine in a dream that a player with a hundred and twenty five receptions, not target. Receptions, could have a bus straight of a quarter of his games..

"Jerry Rice was on the radio locally in San Francisco today, and he seemed to break some news about Antonio. I'll let you decide, you know, Antonio we we have always keeping communication and this guy man, he's totally complete team player. I don't know what happened in Pittsburgh. But I know that you know, this guy if he comes here just after Cisco he's gonna do everything possible to team to win. Do you get the sense that he would like to play for the forty Niners? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He he wants to come here ready bay. He he's talking about running the hill with me doing all of that. And just working out just picking my brain. And, but you know, my thing is that when whenever you can get a player like that in this guy. He just coming into his own because I remember when I was, you know, early thirties I felt like I was just like a rookie all over again. So you're going to you got some great years coming from this guy is just up to the Niners. If they want to go for it, and you know, bring him on board. But you know, if it was left up to me he would be here in a heartbeat. I agree everything except calling him. The a great team player. He's not a great team player. He's not no great team player, regardless of how pissed at the quarterback or at the coach or ownership. You may be goes into walks out on the team on a Wednesday. Doesn't return the phone calls of the coach has his agent. Call up on a game day that you need to have in order to make the playoffs. That's not a great team player. That's not a team player and every single guy that sat on the NFL game day morning podium with me on the stage on the set last week this week, including a manual Sanders was incredibly outspoken on the subject on live TV on Saturday show at former teammate and Ben Rothlisberger as well says it says lot of blaming around. He said that if Ben ever called him out on a radio show in the same that he's called Antonio out that there would be a problem in the locker room. So like I said it's not all Antonio Brown's doing the dysfunction over there. But Bendon walk out on a team. Not return coaches, call have his agent call. Up on Sunday. So that's what you gotta get. When you gotta be wear of that it would behoove the Niners not to draft somebody like juice misuse to set Antonio Brown off or not getting all the targets. But he is a hall of fame wide receiver and not talking about Jerry Rice and talking about Antonio Brown. And you wanna get yourself a toy for Jimmy Garoppolo when he's healthy to to throw to that works, and he's also three years thirty nine million. That's that's a bargain seems like a bargain it is. Yeah. And I imagine he'll towards the end of that contract. You want more? And I prefer to say that might cause to bring about some lack of team behavior. So just. You know, viable wear. But if he's telling Jerry Rice, I wanna go run the hill with you, whatever it sounds like an end, by the way. That's I think the Steelers would choose that as a target to in the same way that Bella check said. Yeah. Getting outta here. Jimmy, I'll see you once every four years. Antonio we'll see you once every four years may never void go. Ford car makes sense makes sense. Some other notes across the league, Mike era.
