"That sounds incredibly boring. Yeah. I don't have high expectations for him. I mean, look, we talked about Jerry Rice. I'm not saying he's gonna be right. But many a great player has tried and failed on television. Just as many a scrub for a quote unquote or bust or career backup or nobody has flourished on television. The type of player you are and the type of player that you presented yourself as in controlled environments such as press conferences and your own podcast nowadays or locker room access ain't got to do with how you're going to be as an analyst. And so I don't have great expectations. I think he'll work hard at it, that's another thing. And. Does he want to do it because they pay them so much money to do it? Or does he want to do it because he really wants to do it because you and I also know that the athlete who thinks it's easy and it ain't or who's just like, yeah, it's something to do to stay close to the game, but I'm not really viewing this as my craft. I'm not doing this as my profession. I'm not approaching it with the same intensity and commitment as I did. The game that I once played because I just, it doesn't do it for me. So if he approaches it and takes it seriously and tries to get better at it, I think he can be more than capable just because of his wealth of knowledge,

"I said on Twitter one day that it wasn't like, I think he should get in, but I'm not going to guarantee it, and people got mad at me, and I'm like, dog, I don't get to decide who goes to the Hall of Fame. I'm talking about how difficult it is to get into the pro football Hall of Fame. But he will call him a Hall of Famer. I really don't have any qualm or gripe with that. It's when you try to call him the greatest tight end of all time. I'm like, dude, grunt beyond be on TV at halftime. He's right there. Like this is there aren't a lot of no brainers in the NFL, okay? These are the no brainers on greatest of all time at insert position here, where there's just no way around it. They're really aren't that me. Jim Brown at running back. Jerry Rice and why I receiver. Gronk had Titian. That's it. I don't think there's anywhere else that you can go and just be so sure about it. And I would even say we're Gronk, I think the space between Gronk and the number two tight end whoever you so choose is actually bigger than the gap between Jerry Rice and say Randy Moss. Or bigger than the gap between Jim Brown and whoever you want to make your number two running back. I think the gap is bigger. That guy as good as he is as a tight end. You're not supposed to win a Super Bowl with him as your number one receive option.

So I go, well, we got to bring it up, but he did address this. Yes, he once tweaked that Jay glazer reported on Sunday that Beckham is expected to be fully cleared by the end of this week. Okay. Start getting them checks. You think he knows where he's going? Yes. Yeah. I want to re clear means clear to resume activities, clear the resume, practice clear to play this Sunday in a game where he would be relied on. I'm curious. And how much is it going to cost to get OBJ? What is the bidding war for OBJ? I'd be curious about that as well. He probably wants a bigger deal than people are willing to give. Well, I would want to say, come on in, I'll give you some incentives. Give you a signing bonus or something, but I just think you've got to be careful where you're bringing in somebody like this. This latency season has he been able to work out? I don't know if he's running routes and conditioning and all of those things. "That used to be, I remember Tim Brown, James Lofton, I remember when art monk had 889 catches or something and had a hard time getting into the Hall of Fame. But remembering art monk when he played with Washington, it felt like he was their go to guy. But then you have these guys, you know, Tony Gonzalez with Jerry Rice, Larry Fitzgerald. It just feels like those numbers are now like, what is a Hall of Fame wide receiver? What are those numbers that you have to put up? Used to be a running back was 10,000 yards. Now it feels like if you get packed to 10,000 yards, you deserve to get in the Hall of Fame. Yeah. When art monk retired in 1995 with the Redskins, he was the leading receiver all time and catches with 9 40. Now he's 20th all time. In less than 25 years. Here's a couple of guys that might not be going to the Hall of Fame that have over a thousand catches. Anquan Bolden. Boys, he was a great receiver he just wasn't great for he didn't get a lot of star treatment. Yes. Yeah. It's Richard wink on the Hall of Fame? Not the cult Hall of Fame, but the Hall of Fame. So what's the most surprising thing about the teens versus the veterans this season? I think it's their ability to adjust. I think this is what I love. I mean, you've seen these teens. They can adjust to anything, especially under pressure. I don't know, but for me, at 15, 16 years old, I wasn't under this type of pressure, you know, I was playing high school sports. I wasn't, you know, in front of millions of people on a Monday heating. And not only competing but competing against some of your favorite ninjas. This will be the equivalence when I was in high school playing against Jerry Rice. You can't do that. 'cause the veterans, you know, they know they have to be ready to go. That's right. And so that's the one. I love watching these teens really kind of just thrive under the pressure, but also too, seeing the veterans going, we're not going back down to young and you in the right direction. Just because you in the club don't mean you got to move. But we saw one contestant do something stranger the banana on his run. Watch this.

"Really have a big impact on inflation. Certainly in the near term is very limited, very, very small. I will say one other element to inflation that's going to become more of a deal if the economy doesn't slow, though, is the tight labor market. I mean, we are at full employment. The economy continues to grow at this current pace. We're going to blow past full employment, wage wages are going to rise more quickly and are we getting into that kind of wage price kind of suffering forcing dynamic that's a problem. I don't think that's a big deal yet, but that's what the fed is focused on. They're trying to slow the growth rate in the economy. So we don't get into that situation. But at the end of the day, it's about the pandemic and the invasion. And how about corporate profits? A lot of I don't think that's a big deal. I mean, there's some folks that think corporate greed gouging are a significant factor here in inflation. I just don't see it. I mean, I do think there are some industry sectors where the market is the industries are concentrated in business pricing power. The meatpacking industry is like the poster child for that. But that's really on the margin. Not that administration and lawmakers shouldn't be shining a bright light on corporate pricing practices because you want to keep people honest and that's part of their remit they should be doing that. But I don't think at the end of the day that's a significant contributor to what's going on here. So there was a story recently in the paper. I think it was The New York Times that may have been The Wall Street Journal. That took a look at the wages that people at the largest companies in the country were earning. And it said, you know, they are for the first time in a long time up by about 10%. But the people who are earning those wages are not able to keep up because of inflation, right? We've been watching stagnant wage growth in this country for what? A decade and a half maybe even longer and we finally get some wage growth and it's accompanied by inflation or it's caused by inflation. How do we not have a wage price spiral at this point? Well, I think the wage inflation expectations don't come undone. So people, businesses, consumers, workers think that inflation is going to be high in the future. We will go into that kind of dreaded wage price dynamic. So workers will say, hey, to their employer, hey, you got to pay me more because it costs me a lot more to fill my gas tank to come to work and pay for child care and the clothes that I need to go to work. And then in the businessman or woman is going to say, okay, no problem, because they know that they can pass through that higher price, the higher labor costs to their customer. And you get into that kind of self reinforcing dynamic. So it's about expectations. But if people think in the future inflation is going to come back down and be close to where the fed wants at 2%. Then that wage price dynamic suffering forcing dynamic is unlikely to take hold. And right now, this is a success story and one reason why I'm feeling more confident that we're going to avoid a recession is the fed because of its very strong aggressive talk and recent recently very aggressive actions. Inflation expectations have come back down. People believe that inflation is going to be lower. If that's the case, then I think these wage gains, these outsized wage gains and price increases we've experienced over the last year will start to abate and come back in. So it's all about, I think, about expectations, whether we get into that wage price spiral or not. And at this point, it feels like we're going to be able to avoid it. The coloring isn't as good. For whatever reason it was gone homerun stat on the back definitely off yet. Def definitely centering edges color. Different things like that. Also like the jerry rice rookie since we mentioned jerry rice. A minute ago has like i believe it's nineteen eighty six tops as a green board so some of it is the design into how well the card grades so for example like that. Green border is hard to not see a white mark Whereas if you have a white border A slightly he. You might not see something now. These grading companies have technology. That are out of this world right now. I actually let me grab discard real quick. So i'm posting this in another video soon. But i have michael jordan sky box. I sent you photos of of a couple of my when you look at. And i bought this from someone online and i bought it and it was in another holder. It was in a Just a really non reputable grading company holder. And i and tsa has the service called cross creating where you can send it in bill crack the slab of the other grading company in great it for you but he so i originally. This isn't an sec holder. Right now i originally sent us into psa they send it back to me saying it was altered and there was evidence of trimming. And when i look at the car. I cannot tell the card trent on but so i cracked so. Psa didn't even crack a slab from the other grading did technology. It was they were able to look examined through the other slab. Tell that it was. Richard transcended back to me. I cracked out tonight slabs. Yeah so i checked it out of that. Slabs senate into s g s. She put it in their slab. That are not rated. But they're really good cards like a jerry rice card that we got in so they give you like a bunch of random cards and stuff and possibly signed stuff as well. But i got some really good jerry. Rice cars shaquille o'neal card Scottie pippen card A couple other ones that were Can't remember but some old-timer baseball players as well That if i were to get him rated there'd be roughly around ninety dollars a piece so you can get you can get ratings for like i think it's like twenty cards for twenty or fifty bucks or some shit like that so it's pretty awesome but let's see what else i got some other shit too. Oh i got a buddha. Baker signed jersey as well right here that guy so so just been getting some stuff that one. I'm gonna try to flip though going to get a frame per not his stats and get the frame with like the two pictures on the side and whatnot and make it look really buddy. Hundred dollars amazon. "All the game really favors the wide receiver now because you can't put your hands on him, right said Linebackers can't take shots at you coming across the middle anymore. It's kind of hard because it's hypothetical. I probably might be able to, like double everything. Do you think Jerry Rice would double his stats in today's NFL? Double, though, of course, he wouldn't double his stats. I get his point Look Jerry rice. Part of what makes him who he is, is that he's supremely confident and and even arrogant to a degree, right and that's okay. He deserves to be. And Jerry Rice is is, you know? The The numbers he put up are pretty jaw dropping, especially when you put it into context, the era he played in. So do I think Jerry Rice is the kind of guy who would excel in this era, absolutely his route, running his hands everything about him and then the fact that you're throwing the ball more often. It just makes sense that even possibly his numbers could go up to say double. I mean, he's laying it on a little thick with the hyperbole and I think it's it's his way of trying to You know you don't want to be forgotten. Especially when you're as great as these guys wearing, remember like you were the man. And then people start slowly talking about your less and less over the years and you see the the game go the way it has. And you say, Wait a second. Don't forget about me, and that's kind of how that feels. And again. I'm not. I don't even mean that. It's a negative. I get. I understand that And Jerry Rice's, You know, a great Um.

He's tweeting stuff. Meaning it's Brown. He's been doing a lot of stuff. He's creating he's adding a ton of gasoline to these little fires that war with the Steelers in Hammond Tomlin. So if you're another coach, my point is that I do think some of the coaches or a coach will say, okay. This guy's really talented. He's a superstar. He's going to put as we going to put people to seats in the building. Okay. And and these stadiums role big he's a draw. He's going to draw people. He's a star. I so we've heard all this bad stuff about them. Just like Erin said, I've heard the stories a younger coach hypothetically might say. Well, I wanna to take that chance. I've heard the stories too. But I'm going to judge Antonio foot for what what I see we're going to take a chance on him. And that's what then you gotta hope for the best because he's gonna end up somewhere. Most you know, he's just too damn. And that's a fair way to fair way to look at it by also think that if you're having issues with a player friendly coach, Mike Tomlin, see, I I think there are guys that can't work and play for Bill Belichick. I think there are guys that can't work and play for other disciplinarians like a go back a couple years go back years ago. Bill Parcells right there. There are guys it just it just doesn't work. Now, if you can't play for a guy like Mike Tomlin, who's bent over backwards to placate you over the course of your career as you've changed with the success as your personality is changed with the money. "Terrel owens should have been ducked into the hall of fame i don't give a damn what anybody says thank you should have been a first ballot all the fame his numbers with top six like the top six categories he was top three demand was sensational jerry rice randy moss and him top receivers nfl history statistically there is no excuse what tara lomas wasn't inducted into the hall of fame if not the first indefinitely the second ballot and understand this criticism and i get all of that that that's not you know that that that doesn't that doesn't make him look well but he should have been in a hall of fame having said all of that this just continues the narrative against you instead of being recognized for being a hall of famer you're going to be recognized as being the cantankerous individual that so many people wanted to keep out of the hall of fame and that's going to be the narrative associated with you throughout history why do that just because you want to avoid one day of ceremony where no other player in nfl history has ever avoided that ceremony why would you do to yourself i got love for teo i think is a good brother man doesn't lie doesn't even cuss but i got news for you i'm gonna do everything that i can't talk him out of that i'm gonna do everything about power to try to talk him into going to that ceremony i probably won't be successful because he's man thinks himself.
