You're not really winning it, but you're being awarded this honor because of your work and your drawing power and your ratings power. So it is a big deal to be a champion. Any kind of champion. It really does make a difference. To me, people will say it's not a big deal. We'll never be champions. Or don't deserve to be channel or earned it. To me, that means the company trusts you. That's what it really is. The company goes, we give you this championship belt is proper but what it means is that you're on the posters. You're the guy that people are going to see first. You're the guy that has to sell out the houses. So being a champion doesn't mean something. It means something else. They'll never be a champion and they certainly will never be late champion. So these two, these two belts go together because there's a really cool story. So Jerry Lawler in Memphis, CWA wrestling, you know, he had like a 20 year pursuit of a world title and everybody went through Memphis back in those days and Jerry Lawler was always the guy wrestling for the world title and always getting screwed out of it. He finally wins it. He beats Kurt henck, mister perfect for the AWA heavyweight title, which is this belt. It's a little different than the one you remember Bach winkle with. Yeah, no, this is different. They had changed it towards the end. And made that belt. So Jerry Lawler wins that title. And this is in the dying days of the territories. This is like 1989. So the companies that had not gone out of business yet from Vince McMahon junior's national expansion. They're just figuring out ways to scramble to try to make a living and keep an audience coming. You know the good times that you had with them you pretty much hold onto that you know and you go with the notion that hopefully whatever pain suffering they were going through that if there truly is afterlife daring your four year now and they're relieved of all that pain and suffering that struggle. They're relieved the wall of that now so But it doesn't. It doesn't get easier. You know i. I wish people would stop saying that when somebody it doesn't it doesn't in my ex wife My ex wife who. I Cherished dearly as a friend You know she got along with you know not just it was interesting because we were better friends then as a married couple as weird right but that's happened some relationships you find that are not exactly compatible compatible by pretty solid as friends. We were better friends than lovers and She was pretty much part of my. I circle of friends. You know when me and tam's Get together and everything. A Forgotten African American Burial Site Could Be Hidden In Washington DC
"Over the past century. Archaeologists and town residents have unearthed dozens of human remains on the thirty three hundred block of street northwest. Experts have spent years trying to identify the origins of the remains. And they told dc ists. Elliot williams they may belong to a forgotten african american burial site. It's a quiet historic street in georgetown on one side. There's volta park a slice of recreational heaven with a pool tennis courts and a jungle gym on the other. A row of million dollar townhomes from the late nineteenth century beneath those homes. Residents archaeologists have found countless skulls jaws ribs and skeletons from bodies buried ages ago. One q street resident. Diana scholl calls a day in two thousand twelve when she noticed something odd at her next door neighbor's house digging a pool and i came home and the police were there and they have found remains the dc. His story preservation office says burials. Like this are quite common on q street. Evidence is growing that this block was the site of a pre civil war. Burial ground for free and enslaved residents men says she loved to know the identities behind the barrels but she also has renovation plans of her own. I'd also love to build a pool or say you know.
