"This week. The biggest tv viewing day of the year has arrived on sunday. Tom brady and the tampa bay bucks face off with patrick mahomes and the kansas city chiefs in the super bowl. Cbs airs the game this year with starting at three thirty pm pacific and of course the network will use the big super bowl to launch. Its queen latifah lead reboot of the so. We know for a fact going in. There's going to be fewer ads from movie studios because of the pandemic and the uncertain nature of theatrical releases. But you we can. We know for sure. We're going to probably get some more ads for paramount plus which is rebranding in march. But there's a lot going on and a lot that goes into programming for the game slot joining us. This week is friend of the five and former fox and nbc. Scheduler analysts preston beckmann preston. Thanks for joining us. Oh my pleasure looking forward to the conversation. So i guess the first question is you've been in that room. How complicated is the decision to choose. What the show is that airs after the super bowl. How often is it a no brainer. And how often does it actually require. Months and months of discussion in conversations. Well i i can only speak to how we did it I think it's different at the different networks for us we Both at nbc and fox would try if we knew we were going to have the super bowl. We would try to figure out which show we wanted to put behind the super bowl because my philosophy was not to use the game to launch something but rather to make money and the way you made money was to get one of your shows to agree to do an episode special episode following the game prior to the upfront with in which we sell advertising and may so that we could go to new york and may announce that we have the super bowl. And here's what's going to follow the game and then it was as close as you could get to putting a gun to the advertisers heads and literally they would walk out and find the sales executives and tell them that they wanted to be in the game. That's how we did it so We would generally should around usually right after the prior super bowl and say who do we want to put in it and Because we wanted to make sure they had all the time they needed to do the episode that we wanted them to. I mean it started as I think last week. There was some the hollywood reporter about friends. My former boss warren littlefield. I could differ a little bit about how it happened. But what i think we agree on is We sowa. Abc had done. The abc had the super bowl. They put a show called emergency after it for for quite a while the networks were airing pilots and after after super bowl immediately collapsed when it was put in its real time period. We used to have a daily meeting and at the meeting. I said you know when the networks can going to realize that when show socks putting it after the super bowl you're just telling everybody had sucks quickly as opposed to let letting them find out in in their own time period. So i said why. Don't we do something different. Why don't we go to one of our big shows get them to agree and be ready to announce it in the upfront. We originally went to seinfeld to be to be perfectly honest and not surprisingly and we knew it. jerry larry. David turned us down because they just didn't do things like that. And after that we we went to french and they agreed and delivered an amazing our tony. That's right the one that aired after the super bowl celebrates its twenty fifth anniversary this year and for non friends die hard. Have people who aren't diehards friends of that fans of that. Show is the one with with julia. Roberts and john claude van damme and brooke shields and the return of of marcel. That was the big get smart. Really we feature that in the promos fans are friends. That was really the big one. But yeah and that and that episode still remains the highest rated program to air after the super bowl even still twenty five years later. And now we've seen other shows that have aired in that slot the office aired after their glee. Did a super bowl episode once. And you know how recently twenty four tried to launch the twenty fox tried to launch that twenty-four reboot. That did so well immediately. After and then as you said cratered in the subsequent weeks but for from the sun so we the became the way to do it. Which were actually. The friends. were so successful. That i suggested that the following year even though we didn't have the super bowl that we kind of did like an in living color thing and that we would put a show on mmediately after the game because the point of the big problems or issues is you have to track from the end of the game through the post game show and depending on the cooperation of the sports people which sometimes was not the best specially at fox You would have to get through that to get to the show that you were putting on. What was amazing about friends was the demos for the post game show in the eighty four eight hundred four nine audience which generally probably just bail soon as the game was over stayed and therefore we wound up with some ridiculous rate. I think like a forty five share. For and i can't remember it was homes or eighteen to forty nine for the game for the The friends episode. That was amazing. Yeah so now. You're seeing a show like the equalizer which is obviously a reboot of the denzel washington movie. And which is a was a reboot of the original series. And it's got a big star like queen latifah in it. So does it make sense for from your point of view. Does it make sense to launch in this fragmented era to launch a new show with a big name. Even if it's a reboot and has a big star like attached to it. Well i haven't seen it. So i'm not going to say talks to things but like cbs has ncis an all these beloved shows. You know i think the last time they they had some like james corden unscripted show. That was canceled after one season. But like if you're cbs if you're working in scheduling working with the network. What would would you have recommended a new show like this one even if even if it is based on ip and has a marketable star attached. Or would you have gone with one of their tried and true franchises. Well with all due respect to my friend kelly called. Cbs of all the networks has never seen to embrace the notion of. I wanna make a lot of money in the In the upfront by announcing a successful show existing successful shell. they've More they more than any other network has generally tried to launch stuff after the super bowl. My opinion the equalizer is going to do what it's going to do when it moves into its time period and for whatever reason they've never taken the approach of as you say they could have done across. They could have died cis crossover weather three of them on the air. Now still. I think they could have done you know. Some kind of big crossover were stunt or something like if effendi see had The super bowl sometimes when they can do. is chicago chicago. Prosser it's really to me. It's about showmanship And you know it's not about trying to expose the audience to to something new. I think that if you put in the effort and tell the advertisers because that's what sold out really if you tell the we're going to do something special after the super bowl they'll say on But but again that's the would. I have done equally no But but i have. I respect how they approach things. They're they're still the most old school network that we'd love and respect. I wanna i wanna go back to the the friends and seinfeld at all. When you make the call to larry david jerry seinfeld but then also the people is it just as simple as we have this slot. Would you be willing to do something special for it or do you say that certain things would sort of make it special. You say we need a big ageless guest star and the monkey like that or not Well i i didn't make the call. My boss fueled shawl not that powerful where it wasn't that powerful. I think i think if your going to seinfeld or if you going to friends you're going out of respect and you don't go to them and then tell them what to do. I think it was as simple as warm. Taking up a phone and calling calvin bright and crane or some combination of them. And saying we want to offer you the tied after the super bowl.

"A little bit. Was not what i meant. Depress depress there. We get specific. How do i know where these things are. The fantasy cops are here. This is our fantasy cops music. It's funky all right. This is from stanley. Says dear jerry. Larry terry and gary did you ever watch it adam apart rex. Yeah yeah i finished. That's happened in the last like year right because you haven't really been a big fan. I binged it during the quarantine basically because we were telling you it's such a great show. It is really funny except the last season is painful. Absolutely painful i mean one of the worst one of the worst seasons. I've ever seen if any show i don't even remember. It's so bad. Like ron and leslie in a fight. I and then there's this like oh that's different areas. Oh it was just awful but but it didn't ruin the show. The show was great. all right. here's the here's the question for the fantasy cops. I normally they're am. There should be no vetoes and fantasy but this just went down in our twelve team keeper. League one keeper team is one and eight has not said his lineup. Since week three has been called out for it in the group chat for not setting it and has not set his lineup. Basically everyone assumes he's not making any effort anymore team b's excuse me on the fringe of the playoffs and makes the following trade with team. May team gibbs d andre swift davante adams and nick chubb team be gives. Darrell henderson chase. Edmonds and marcus brown. So swift atoms and job for darrell henderson edmonds and marquees brown pretty grabby trade. What do you do in this situation. I at least texted are threads saying that. If you're gonna make trades you need to set your lineup. And it's fair. It is fair to make plans for the future with one keeper but this trade is lopsided and with a team that wasn't putting effort and so i'm challenging. You guys is. I know you don't like vetoes especially frank..

"Happen sir breaking news all right. This comes in from our injury expert. Matthew bats cooper kupp is a name to watch. Today fell on his wrist yesterday. And there's concern for a potential fracture. So there's going to be an mri in the next day or two so pay attention. All right Lets you try to trade for robert. Woods I is hard to me. It's more like it's probably a waiver. Alert for reynolds jefferson sure Yeah all right Amari cooper one for five. Adam feeling three for twenty seven. The weather was real bad in green. Bay i'm not worried about thelander jefferson. I moved them both down in the rankings. Step morning due to the weather. You guys agree with that one hundred percent and also dalvin cook said you. Don't get to throw the ball. Yeah yeah tyler. Lockett four for thirty three. It's just the way it goes. Yup what are you doing with cooper though you you glossed over it but i mean. Obviously it's not going to be the nucci forever. He'll get dalton back. Cooper's just the one i wanted to have but maybe not this week and then on the by. Somebody tried to get rid of them. Yeah i mean you got two weeks where you. You can't play. Amari cooper in my estimation so if i could trade him i would diontae. Johnson exited with a hamstring injury. Came back in the game. He was only one for six in this one dallas next week you probably just deontay we. We have supported you over and over and over and over my man. I think you're great. I think you're eight tremendous wide receiver chain. Change your so so there's got to be fixed here. We got to keep you on the field. Yeah it's gonna be hard to sit him against dallas next week if he's on the field you probably just playing him Yeah and then you're just You're you're saying prayers for for his hamstring's and his groin and his and we'll we'll see you here for this discussion next week. A right nelson aguilar. This game turned sour with the weather as well. This is breaking news. Jason more wide receiver for the chargers had no targets. Oh next week. Oh we get that. Td jarvis landry had eleven targets four catches in this game. Couple drops again. He's been dealing with the drops skis. Well he's got a broken rib. That was a bad weather game too. I was gonna say i. I remember some of those targets that were just horrible and you could see the ball moving in the air. I'm not worried about eleven targets is the focus here. He is going to be very good. Yeah i think higgins was goose in that game after eleven targets. The week before tight. End stinkers are you worried. Mark andrews is very boomer bus yet again. it's more jackson jackson stinks. He's not playing. Well i mean he's fine for fantasy because when you run you get more fantasy points but when you watch him throw the ball. He stinks hollywood. I'm worried about mark andrews if you're a pass catcher there's not i mean the exact opposite you get this little deepali. Yeah you get this little tiny single serving delicious hostess apple pie. I love them. But i'm not sharing twelve of my closest friends. That's one bite. No you're not. that's what i feel like. It's happening sharing it with one of his need up. Full mark andrews. You know get that whole thing. We need all the targets to one person. I darren waller whether game. Don't worry about it. Jonnu smith though. Yeah i mean he's not been good for a while. No the the emergence of corey davis. There's it's very disappointing of what we saw at the beginning of the season from johnny. But it's fading away target four two and that was after seven five eight seven. So yeah the targets. Say you got to look elsewhere. Dallas her one target. It was insane man. He was on the field over eighty percent of the snaps one target. What are you doing whence on her catch rate. Sixteen yard took it to one hundred. He's the drew sample size while a wasn't like richard rodgers was bringing them in because he had zero targets. Rogers farewell y- well as soon as governor was activated. It was you had to abandon yup. Yeah and also you had to abandon got her that's what you didn't know apparently Other important tied in situations i mean. He came back four targets to for fourteen everett. Five or thirty two here in that boat every week with the ramps it it. It could be a situation with but he is read a cup. That's what i'm saying. You got pick you still gotta pick one. You still got to pick between everett and higby. Nobody wants to do that. You wanna know who is. Yeah who is it mike. Who's the guy gerald gerald. It's i know i know. I know it's his name. It's a funny name. We get it gerald. We get gerald. Why are we doing that. I know there's no reason. Why ler we would g g everett. When are you taking his name away from them as not nice. Gerald deserves gerald. Jerry larry larry the parks and rec coca speakers of the week presented by odor eaters odor eaters the best foot odor. "You don't need to score a touchdown necessarily here, but you gotta pick up five yards, so Jimmy could run If they pressure him, Pettus type left. Kettle is tight. Right? Three. Go right, the rapido back throws and its broke it up. He was going to trend Taylor it was broken up. By Byron Murphy Jr. Arizona will take over on downs. The game is not over 40 Niners to have three timeouts left, but it's very close to being over. They're great. Papa. Tim Ryan on the call. Surprisingly 20 for 20. The 40 Niners lose to the Arizona Cardinals here at Levi Stadium, John one Super Bowl champion, Dennis Brown of the Great Larry Kroger joining us. Thanks. Great question that you asked on Twitter, and we're getting a lot of great responses. So, Jerry Larry jumping here and they give us some more of the people why they thought they lost today. One thing and again. This is a great Chris Babcock, who since he normally up with Pablo and Tim, and feeds, Papa all these great stats, and it makes Papa sound very good. But it's kind of like that movie. What was known Roxanne with Steve Martin and Steve Martin's, whereas the big nose so he's in the back, and he's feed the lines. That's exactly what Babcock doesn't make them. Pop is the one who, you know, just regurgitates about Papa stop the Cyrano Cyrano de Bergerac and Babcock has hanging slash And so he sent me some step. Also the first quarter the Niners. Time of possession wise 10 27 to 4 33 for Arizona. So dominating Arizona one the time of possession. 31 26 2 2034. So it's about 27 18 and last Three quarters of the game in the second half. Thank you, Chris Babcock 42 to 29 in place in favor of Arizona. Well, why does that matter Because like you guys said, air quality wasn't so great Today. First game of the year you're gassed and Kyla Murray's running all over the place and this is an excuse isn't excuse. It's an explanation Givers on a credit they won the football game, but they were gassed. At the end. The defensive line wasn't dominating because they're chasing sky around, and they just They got tired. Look, Dennis brought this up during a break. It's a great point. After the 94 yard drives, you're on the field defensively for a 94 yard drive. The offense went three now. Yeah, I think I was it. No, e. I hope you enjoyed that 62nd ball. You just got after that 94 year. Dr. You're coming back on the field. That's a factor in this game. Yeah, And it's a factor when you when you haven't been able to get off the field. I mean it be great if your offense goes through and out and then defense goes through here now, But if you go, you're often goes three and out. You go back in for a eight minute drive, 10 minute drive. I mean, and then you go back off the field. You have to come right back on after another three and out, or maybe a foreign out, So I mean, it's It's tough. It's tough. I mean, you got the air quality going. It's your first game on like I said, I mean, you guys know crowd to give you an energy is no. There's nothing and just going like practice your just going right back out there now. It was a guy the beauty of this game thinking you don't need a crowd. You're gonna motivate yourself, but I really saw that. Pride would've helped out a lot, especially when the defense is on the film. You need that boost. I think it was missed today truly missed today. You know, we're getting a number of different responses. I asked the question. What is the number? One reason the Niners lost in a lot of people pointing at Jimmy Jimmy was a bit slow. Jimmy. Just like the Super Bowl. We had to make one throw. I didn't do it. You know, I expected more from Jimmy. You know, one guy said, you know, two for 11 on third down. I mean, that that that obviously was a key fact and seven for 14, Arizona. I mean, that's the contrast Is that losing out on the field? I mean, you give up 50% to a team that is so they converted seven of 14. You converted Team two of 11 minutes. That's the biggest status game. Somebody says no to force Buckner, one guy says, where were are wide? Receivers. But Eric Ah has has the one that I would vote for. If you said if you said Give me the number one reason the 40 Niners lost this game, I would say they couldn't they lost contained on Kyler. Consistently and this is the last quarterback in the league that you can lose. Contain on you have to rush him with discipline. You have to rush him in Lane's Dennis. You know, you have a doctorate in in exactly what I'm talking about here. The art of rushing the mobile quarterback. This is the most mobile quarterback. And then you mix in the poor air quality. And, as John said that the total 42 to 29 play advantage that Arizona had in the second half and being gassed in no O T A s and no training camp and no no preseason, but to me if you said number one reason they lost contain on Kyler and once who's contained on a mobile quarterback like that, man. Everything starts to fall apart. Yeah, and a couple times it wasn't about to contain. It was just about on the inside. Once you open up that rush lane and he would see it so quickly. He would step back there and he'd read it like a rotting body was one reading Go. Yeah, it was like it was a lot of my reads. Not there. I'm gone. And there was a quarterback here a couple years ago, and that's that's kind of how he made his bones in NFL became a superstar that one read and go and he made the place. I mean, that was it. It was a lot of third in 12 13 15 and you see He'll take that one read in Hell knows he'll see that rush lane, and it wasn't about to contain. It was just running straight up the middle class. You know what? What's gonna happen, and we see this in the MBA bubble when you watch that there is no home field..

"Love at some point or another in our lives we have all put our time and energy into something that we just simply were not happy with at the end of the day that is the case for a lot of Hollywood stars who never want to see their movie after leaving the set so here are a list of celebrities who hated their own movies Aries is a staple in pop culture but for hairy himself actor Daniel Radcliffe he was less than happy with his performance in half blood prince okay so my favorite movie to watch is Titanic miss Kate Winslet did what had to be done that when playing the iconic role of rose too bad she would rather forget it can you believe then twenty one year old actress appeared on screen in nothing but a necklace and Kate Winslet has tried her best to forget the ins how you're being shy at la buff actor Shiloh bluff has revealed that the second transformer movie transformers revenge of the fallen is not one of his favorites Sally field she is a prestigious Oscar and Emmy Award winning actress and some say that we're training on may in two thousand fourteen the amazing spider man two was a step down for her there are so many actors and actresses who have hated their own movies I could go on and on and on so I get a full list for you at pop Chris dot com you think you know Seinfeld's Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld didn't pitch a show about nothing the real pitch for the show was a psicom about how comedian gets a material the show about nothing was just a joke in an episode about the show within the show the pilot was filmed at stage eight of does he live Coalinga studios the same studios where I Love Lucy the Dick Van **** show and the golden girls were filmed and is currently the red digital cinema camera company studio in the pilot for Seinfeld there was no Elaine character just a sassy waitress named Claire played by Lee Garlington although the pilot didn't generate buzz some executives fall for the show while most people know the George Costanza was modeled after Larry David Jerry Seinfeld has a real life friend named mica stands that friendship didn't last long because Mike sue Jerry Larry and NBC for one hundred million dollars claiming invasion of privacy defamation of character the case was ultimately dismissed despite becoming a catchphrase Jerry only says Newman sixteen times throughout the one hundred and eighty episodes.

"The Tempe improv now it's a little different he will be reading from the best selling book letters from a not by Ted L. Nancy and Patrick joins us now in studio Patrick thanks for coming in well thank you mac it's great to be here what attracted you as a performer what attracted you to this instead we just don't say stand up or something else do no hard stand up is do you ever do them back the answer was no yes I don't know what to do stand up I'm a little green at the the stand up you gotta eat drink and brief that stuff in order to be great so I just had to start doing stand up at the tender age of fifty four on may I comment on stage and you know I've got to do but a ten or fifteen minute introduction which is essentially them stand up I've been a huge Seinfeld fan love John Seinfeld is the party character was that character created for you no but there is an evolution there it was a one off it was just an episode I think cakes I created a a bit of a character that a light so they brought him back there a couple of years I could've gone gone back I couldn't do it because I was on another show the CBS show for two years spent hours regular and they would they would let me no contract that I write anywhere else yet so that was a little frustrated in the show was on was probably the you know the eightieth rated show Friday night show and I am getting enquiries from sign fell right come back and I can't says one of those things where you get the call sign filled once you do a one and done and you're like yeah I'm gonna take my shot on this I'm gonna leave them with something that wants them to call me back was it a one liner was it was if the dead panned you know no it was I went in and I you know read for Jerry Larry David and they liked what I did and ma'am laugh and so was the jury's mechanic right right right I figured you know most of the guys go in the room they seem to be more like your Tony's in your Vinnie's you know that kind of thing I know is that the way it was written I just decided to what this guy just has a screw loose not all there yeah just a damn ball dim balled you know he's the kind of guy that's funny to watch from the outside and go what a more want to hang out with that nobody wants to hang out with them well Elaine did figure that out do you guys would break up all the time if you break up on a plane on one of the episodes of Seinfeld sure we broke up all the time they there's two didn't have anything in I just you know I just thought like it only he must've been moved you know remarkable set like I don't know there was something that she needed Patrick Warburton as our gas the is in town at the Tempe improv tonight one performance tonight I will be there in the performance dragging Patrick down like a millstone around his on a why he asked me but I'm glad he did at the Tempe improv tonight and of course tomorrow night there's two shows this is going to be a little different in the fact that it is a show not a stand up show but a show about a guy plunking corporations it's hysterical who is the best to work with did you enjoy being on stage with one more than the other now I wouldn't say that yeah did you know Michael Richards was a racist she he's not right now right now I know something horrible happened I know I know and I think he was trying to do something sort of edgy and yes free see it but there is the frustration of getting heckled it just didn't come across right and it's a tragedy that you know are because he's a very kind hearted soul who is not a racist but you know right I was being sarcastic and I know that you are yeah I I'm just as you know as friends of who is Kerr understands at your who knew him back in the day just you know just wanted you know wanted to show that but it seems like everybody that worked with Jerry just you guys all got along there was never there was never any Charlie Sheen tiger blood drama there was never this person's holding out in this person's holding out for more money absolutely but that all star to the top and Jerry is a very easy across hers now is he is he a friend is he a boss easy just what the guys got the name of the show so you got to listen to him what what what no I've never ever experienced or heard anything about Jerry being a hard **** yeah you just can't you down and I think he's just I've been on shows where you know if it was an actor show they would be very terribly and secure and make sure that you know they be insecure about other actors getting funny lines and secure a spot as well as David spade he's actually he is actually not one of them now I know I know of Davey and he's one of the funniest people naturally funniest people I've ever met you others he goes out there though that say I don't have anybody to be funnier than me and I've worked with them and I will not mention the names but Jerry's I've worked with them too and I won't mention any thanks a lot or you're looking right well you know you know what what one guy that comes to mind is Jimmy Kimmel Jimmy Kimmel doesn't want to be necessarily the funniest guy in the state he doesn't care I've seen an interview with them he wants it to be enjoyable for the audience if it's his line that's great wonderful if it's the gas line it's great even better and I think it's tough to find in Hollywood well you know a boy walking your works find out every day now today in your house bottom your burden joins us is gonna be the Tempe improv tonight you can get tickets to Tempe improv dot com tomorrow night as well to shows tomorrow night one show tonight I will be there just embarrassing myself in front of everybody's going to be great you're put in a costume or so I'll be embarrassing you well that's fine that's fine you're the headliner hi hi trying in Paris and every day it's a lot of fun Leo is what he does he's five years older than me but I think I act like the older brother picking on the little brother yeah that's basically what it is yeah he's only five years older than you when I went wait a minute yeah we did you I I know from watching the show before it that you wanted to be an actor your parents really weren't enthusiastic let's say about you know going to Hollywood becoming an actor did you want to be a serious actor or did you now or did you want to pursue comedy or did you just kind of wind up there I like to do both you know I just did phone with lily Collins and Simon Pegg which is very dramatically I just did a service called the should events for Netflix which is Emmy nominated while great which is a departure what do you see yourself as a serious actor or yeah for you but I gravitate I've gravitated the pastors in sitcoms and be out there great the I. "I mitch. Tomorrow morning. So your show that I love and I'm not a big TV guy. Life, and I used to make sure we. Absolutely love. The ending. I was very happy. Patrick, Jane spoiler. Spoiler alert that I was very happy that he killed John. Right. And I thought he had to come in. And I thought it was. It was just amazing. However, ten minutes earlier the way he was able to get out from. John Lewis holding onto the whole series read. John was just his mental genius. Who was always a step ahead of other guys absolute genius. And yet the writers decided one up on red John was four Patrick change's sake. Can I show you something? Getting closer. Right. John and then openness under jacket and have a third fly out. Magician by I mean, it couldn't have been any worse. If you had a flower sported water. Yeah. I was I was just once angry. Untouched. Rated the us. Whitebait writers come up with a better way to just get running and moving around. Right. But then I forgave them a little bit closer. Straight. Yeah. Yeah. Now, I know I know what you mean what you mean? A lot of fans of the mental did not did not enjoy twist at all. That's true. Yeah. I actually thought that the guy that he wound up killing. Or apparently kills. In the mall, also taught that guy should have been red, John. Much easier. Much more believable. And it really threw me when he wound up dying. This guy makes up. Okay. Great show. Thanks that. They also make life. Thanks, man. Take care. Three one two nine eight one seven two hundred is a phone number shocking or a really memorable or crazy TV finales. Here's A J in Kenosha on WGN. I'm jay. Yeah. High net. Can you hear me? Yes. I can. Okay. Well, I'm good of embarrass myself. When I was eight years old. I. Enjoy the television show the flying nun. Okay. I was eight years old at the time and the final show was about a couple an elderly couple what the a woman let step in bed and the man wanted to marry her. So what happened was they did not have a tendency afford this couple. And so the the the flying nun. The casino owner agreed to be attendance toward this couple ceremonies. And so with that said, the the camera film showed the characters standing in front of their bed a couple that were getting married and the minister was there jabbing, you know, the right this wedding. Right. So I just wanted to let you know that and I embarrassed myself, and I really did it know that when I was eight years old, and I saw the original show, but I happened to catch a remake of it or or rewrote a rerun rerun out with and so I just thought you know, I just wanted to embarrass myself. Okay. Jay, the mission accomplished take care. There you go. All right, there you go. Yeah. The flying nun one of those ridiculous shows in the history of television. I used to watch it when I was a kid. I watched it. All right parks and rec. Amy Poehler beloved comedy took a risk when it set its entire final season the seven season in the future the series finale went even further and farther in a storyline. That moves from two thousand seventeen to two thousand forty eight. We see the fates of our favorite pony residents unfold. Andy and April have a boy named Jack Ron is made superintendent of the pony national park. Donna is happily married. Tom is a motivational speaker. But the most surprising vision of the future is that either. Leslie or her bow, Ben, we're not sure which has presidential level secret service. And then by the way, Jerry, Larry, Gary, a becomes mayor of pony. I final season was kind of interesting. I actually thought that it was very interesting. How they they jumped in time like that. The then someone mentions the all in the family finale, but that didn't go that didn't I really didn't end because Archie bunkers place came after that. So the show in some form or another continued. But by the time Archie bunkers place came on that show really fell apart. Eight hundred area code says the ending of the show how I met your mother really did a disservice to fans who watched it from the very beginning. It's true. Everybody went everybody's gone nuts over that. Seven.

"Hopefully, he's added some points back, and we'll be on the right side of the line. I see Richard Scott, Kohl's, and he's got of course, the presidential assassin thing going for him with the three day. I do not know who he is. But I will always remember him. Now, though, I will try not to refer him that way in prayed. Well, there was a couple of other names that and of course, you know, we should mention that our leader is the player with two first names. Gilbert. Where that line with where that line particularly lives. Have you ever seen Garbo talks? I have not oh, you see Garbo talks. I'll take it. And Bancroft is impossible to live with mother. And and. Ron Ron silver is is the son kinda Nebe she son and. Stephen hill plays the strange father. And there is the the. A couple of references to men with two first name way. Predating seinfeld. I'm sure that's where Jerry Larry David God. Yes. From from Garbo talks about about how when when the two parents go to the to get their license their marriage license. She refused to take it. Because the the guys the guy had to first name it doesn't trust people with who. I. But wouldn't trust our leader? But what a day he's had still just pouring it on at the top of the leaderboard. Oh, here's somebody else who stopped by Bobby shoemaker, one seventy six so outside looking in. But a but in position if he's got the bullet I own see him over there. Love to get the update from him. That'd be a fun. One to follow might be nice to have a player to we can know what they're doing for the cut rate cut line race. So folks can route along for them. Unfortunately, we won't have all the information. Gosh that would be an improvement. Maybe one day we can get there where we can have that in real time. Like we have at the final table through the magic of the website. I'm looking for somebody else to button hook. I'm not seeing any of our. All right. We've got we've got the eighth race coming up in a minute at at. Golden Gate and a quick glance at at this group. Let's look at we had a nine to five favorite in in here. And boy, my you know, it's late when when your screen on your eighty w starts filling in with harness track. When you have to you have to jump over Batavia, and so forth, Yonkers buffalo, and and more. All right. Gracious me, Blaine, right? Nine to five is your favorite and beyond that seven two on may song at motor. Seventy-two second choice, then it gets up to nine to two Plum wild. Bob, Hess, senior not Bob Hess junior. Bob has senior up north and Ninety-two on Plum wild the rail or after that how about listened to blue four to one for Jim Cassidy with his Golden Gate string. This is a heat shield Philly, and after that, it's all double digits listened to blue looks pretty live. I think should be a good spot early. Not too far back and has some finish. But a lot of different ways you can go here. But then fifteen minutes to the Santa Anita. Nightcap eleven races. They layered on thick today at at the strike group..

Go up to your lady and go my man, we're going to knock boots. They kind of takes you. Call your lady, man. Well, he's just man. I think he was all the fellas out there getting ready to knock boots. But by the way, I asked to ask the question before Doug fister who hit the line drive? Doug fister. Melanin two thousand twelve World Series. Yeah. The white shark, Greg or blonde. Greg right off glancing shot up. Doug fister. Had he stayed in the game as you. Well know where the great fister did. They came out shortly. I should've left, but yeah, the the white shark that. That's good giant. Yeah. It was good giant outfielder vote when he's a starter little different deal that he started in the World Series in some pretty good team instead of put centerfield on a couple of World Series teams. Well, who who else was the center fielder, though, what do you mean who else? Well, I mean, he was the starter for the whole year. Well, I mean, go look at the two thousand twelve World Series or twenty fourteen or both didn't he played in Gregor Blanco. Play a ton of centerfield in both those October's, I believe I believe he did. All right. Well, if they went under is was in the mix the first go round dodgers stores. So I meant they should have. I just started over block. I was asking Mike affair Carlson's going tonight. He supposedly practice yesterday. Sharks caps. Go tonight has always tank. San Jose's won six in a row. Mike is like a ritual here. Larry sincere with that. Or just a bunch of crap. Well, overwhelmingly go with him Brian. I think that was fake and what an awful transition from talking Gregoire Blanco straightened Eric Carlson. All right. Squeeze my Carlson in. We we brought up. The fact that were done is the only go ahead might say it out loud. I don't want the audience than just as Larry so worried about it and the projected lineup tonight. There is no Eric Carlson Kuching there, of course, coaches in there, and we all love on Valentine's Day. You gotta make sure he's on the line. I again, Mike sincere question about coach. Or now, Jerry Larry loves coach. I do love by the way. How many how many how many coaches teeth has? He really lost. Oh is there is there any hockey player? That's like, hey, man. I played my whole career. I've lost not. I was lucky. All right. Well, back Neil. Did you send that highlight of James Neal puck hits him in the face, and Gary you see this explosion of white chick chiklis firing in the air. There's teeth teeth his mouth exploded. But has there ever been a hockey player when his whole career just lucked out didn't lose any teeth? Yeah. There are in fact next segment I'll go team by team. Guys. I I've found that you ask. Yeah. No. I've got I've got three. Got three dentists on the whole will break it down. Hey, john. We came up and we got all excited Super Bowl week work done. The old running back was given a little piece of the team by Arthur Blank's Atlanta. And he's the only living player that. And then what he said to. He goes. I think I'm the only one Larry has a list set of athletes who've been. Yeah. Athletes who've got one hundred okay? This is the list that I have tell me if there's if you know anybody else who's on this list worked on got a piece of the pie in Atlanta. Thank you. Michael Jordan owns ninety percent of the Charlotte Hornets, and are you with that? That's that's probably the Robert Johnson as you. Well know, the man who founded be that's could call shack O'neil, he wants the mayor of Sacramento vers head didn't he own a piece of the king's does he did he divest himself of that ownership? Yeah. You remember we had some of what Marcos Brittan I said, I'll give you a hundred bucks every time shack actually, visit Sacramento that was just a PR. But it says he's now it says he has a piece of the pie. No. I know. But I'm just one percent is good. Santa's wing Gretzky owns the Phoenix coyotes. Okay. Very good the entire team. He owns. I didn't know, you know. And Ryan is a minority owner in the Texas Rangers you see the big right hander behind home plate. Y'all Ming owns the Shanghai Sharks in the CBA. The Chinese Basketball Association is good research. So there you go. Yeah. Serena and Venus own a small piece of the pie with the Miami Dolphins and very that was done. I'm sure for PR reasons, but good for them. I will agree with you. Any percentage is a good for magic owns the dodgers owns, you know, he's another small Warner. Of course, the dodgers. But make sure you got two times. And then magic it'd be funny. If they told magic, hey, we'll let you in on this deal, but you have to sit next to Lasorda and pretend you like him in times a year. Believe me spends a lot of time with Tommy. David Beckham owns an MLS team. I'm not sure if that was given to him Oscar de LA Hoya owns a piece of the Houston dynamos. That's it. I didn't know that credible now. John Elway owns the Colorado crush which is arena Rena league team. I think and then Mario Lemieux I didn't realize this, Mike Marietta. Mu is is the owner of the pens. He's the controlling owner. Do we know that's the whole thing. I I've the majority owner, I don't know if he had the whole thing though. Every penguins game every penguins game. But whenever you flip around there. He is sitting in his in his nice suit. Aren't you surprised though that that list? So that's thirteen people. Somebody said Jerry Richardson is no longer with us. And I probably missed a couple along the way, but we're talking thirteen to fifteen athletes in history own a piece of the pie when you think of all the athletes and all the leverage plays in all the agents attached to these athletes. I can't believe that that number is in the teens. I can't believe there's not one hundred or two hundred or more passed you former athletes who have a piece of the pie just shows you the owners ownership will, you know, the last thing they want to do. Well, you're going to see how it's going to be LeBron. Hey, maybe Durant seriously. Maybe curry one day, you know, because they make enough now. Yeah. They don't have to fake it. All right. We've got love coming up Marcus Thompson coming up. It's all on these sports later lost to get into the future. Or by JR wins dot com and the views opinions and picks expressed do.

"Coach to go into that. The home of a seventh grader and say, you know, your son looked so good on tape. I'm offering him a scholarship. I mean it now if you win and said, hey, if your son works, hard and baba blah a one day, maybe he could play for Michigan. But if this story is true happens more basketball. I think tank as you can see the, you know, hey, the kids seventh grade, but he's seven one and he looks like shock, and he's got muscle development of a twenty six year old, man. And he's you know, but here's the father. He says the family was shocked an excited for the opportunity. He says Harbaugh called him up on the phone and told him your son has a scholarship to Michigan. I mean, that's and that's pretty I honor. It sounds the honor. It also don't think that high school game should be on television. I just kidding me. They're everywhere. I go. I know and again as we used to have Bob lattice saw the day LaSalle coach, he agreed. But good. Had a lot of his games on ESPN. Exactly there. Dennis. How's games are on ESPN? But that's the point. I'm making is that I think if you make it like like, LeBron James or somebody. Okay. Just part of your your living. But to me if you're on as a high school kid, doesn't that make you think you're something special? And I just wonder if for every guy who goes on from there. It would make us think we're special because we didn't grow up with impotency grew up with eight. It's not a special adds a good point. That's a good point too. I will agree with that that okay? But I'm just saying that these kids that are on. It's incredible. Mike kid played at north Keith this year, you know, I can watch film of you know, from the huddle dot com or whatever of and I'm seriously, I'm watching I'm watching sideline wide. I'm watching an end zone wide. I it's like I'm watching NFL films of Northgate play Rodriguez high school, or whatever it's it's incredible stuff. It really is. And and that's a great point, especially if you can watch your son a little bit on these scouting films. My thing though, is that these kids get recruited them. Because now they got highlights you can just send an Email. But just that you. Freshen at that as that you are something special and totally I mean for for every kid who goes off. But if you don't get the scholarship or you don't or these guys that don't go pro, man. Oh, man. It's just so many stories that you're used to be a big shot since your kids. Seventh fricken grade twelve. Like five years away from shaving by the way. You're listening to Gary and Larry on Cambier San Francisco KC in HD, two San Mateo, the sports leader, and George Karl is gonna join us bottom of the hour. But this story I am cheeses before. And I got I know you don't wanna go into down this road because we like. Like this guy. We liked this guy. But this story is the most disturbing story. I've heard this week definitely in this week, probably months. John wetland. You see this story bay area native. I believe cardinal Newman high school Santa Rosa guy. I'm not sure about cardinal Newman. But I know he's a Santa Rosa guy. He's a former major league three-time all-star with the New York Yankees nineteen Ninety-six World Series MVP with the Yankees came up with the dodgers. He's been charged in Texas with continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of fourteen wetlands fifty two he's accused of of of having a four year old perform a sexual act on him. Yeah. That's that's the end. I mean that is the end yet. I I didn't know I didn't heard the four. Yeah. Four years old four years old. That is just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. It's obviously heinous. And you know, I know he's a local guy. No, he has family here. And I know there's there's two sides every story these are accusations. That have nothing's been proven. We need to give him that. But that is just you mind me asking we've got this far is just like a that was the parent of the four year old. I don't I don't know the details other than it was it was was charged in Texas with continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of fourteen. And then when you read the details, it says it mentions that it was a four year old saw me, and I just unbelievably disturbing. I probably shouldn't even brought that up. But it is a is one of the major stories. Out there this morning, and obviously had cash other. When I first started here. Larry his or called in. There was a musician. And he would you know, just kind of a cool guy and back and forth, and he would call in and his son. My guys was. I mean, he really had a great baseball career. But that's he's he's if indeed that's true. It's it's a six. It's a it's. Yeah. Is this the unthinkable? Sorry. Sorry to bring us down. I mean, that's that's in the news. I'm just curious what our audience is feeling on Antonio Brown. You know what? I mean. Is there your loving the Antonio Brown's yet? Yeah. Because I think that automatically makes you I mean, hey, forty Niners. All of a sudden, there's an air of excitement around them. Instead of let's wait and see what happens and hopefully Garoppolo comes back one hundred percent healthy, you get a guy like that. And I think there's there's the interest level jumps up. And I think there's an excitement level that good draft choices. Yeah. Great. But when you get somebody like that it's like to say to nine you guys should should bring Antonio Brown on the air. Sure. What he says on Cambior would make national news. I'm sure it would I you know, it's this all to me. I mean, not that. I'm telling you anything, you don't know. It's all gonna come down to Shanahan and Lynch, and how they view it. Yeah. How they view where there rebuild is at how they view their wide receiver. For core. I will say this a quick perusal of the forty Niners depth chart shows you that they have severe needs at wide receiver. I mean, look what they have Dante Pettis coming off an injury marquees Goodwin. Was awful this year. Couldn't stay healthy. Couldn't stay on. The field. Wasn't dependable at all Kendrick Barnes and undrafted free agent who can't get lined up correctly in week seventeen. Trent Taylor is a tiny little guy doesn't separate who's coming off of some horrendous. Injuries is back. This year screwed him up Ritchie James is a small bodied speedster who flash some things, but durability questions left and right peer gar son is clearly moving on at the end of the year. So I mean, it's a ghost town. They don't they don't have wide receivers. They clearly need to make an investment this off season in wide receivers. Now. It doesn't have to be Antonio Brown. Maybe so del Beckham junior. Maybe it's in the draft. Maybe it's both. Maybe maybe they go free agency and the draft. But I would say if you said right now the Niners number one and number two needs. They don't have any outside pass rusher worth a damn. And they don't have a wide receiver outside of Dante Pettis that I think you can really say, yeah. That guy's gonna be on the on the team two years from now. So why receivers severe need out, you know, outside pass rusher. Ab- a Joey Bosa. I mean, one of the one of the big decisions one of the big interesting things to follow here in the next. You know, couple months as we get close to the draft is what Tarazona gonna do Arizona's get the first pick in the draft. And they're either gonna take Nick Bosa, which I don't know what they're what defense they can run. And they get around a three four they can run a four three going around three or four. They're probably not gonna take Nick Bosa. Then people say oh Cuyler Murray because their coach, right? Said once upon oh, I think he's gonna be great. He's not bound by that. And they have they have Josh Rosen. But I mean, yeah, do they go to they trade? You know, they they could trade down with the, you know, the Jaguars or the New York Giants or one of these teams looking to move up for twain Haskins or Cuyler Murray, they could take the big defensive tackle from from Alabama, Quinn and Williams who had a monster year, they can take big at over from Houston. They can take Josh Allen the the outside rush guy from Kentucky if they're going to run a three four maybe they go with Josh Allen. He's kind of a three four outside backer. But we don't know what defense are gonna run. But ultimately it comes down to what they do at one. And if they go quarterback, the Niners could be, you know, have Nick Bosa who's a very polish powerful, you know, very versatile player, very athletic. He could fall in their lap now. And then the other counter to that is he didn't play this year because of injuries his brothers. Missed a lot of time because of injuries the boasts of brothers are talented, but they don't play a lot of football in. At least in recent history tells. Us that paid off for the older one it did. But I mean, do you want to invest the second pick in a draft on a guy who's you know, not gonna play every single week. I mean, they they gotta do their due diligence and figure out to Nick Bosa sit out the sheer solely for financial reasons. Or does Nick bozo. Not loved to play. Some people are really talented. They don't love to play you better love to play. If I'm an investor top five pick out, and I will for the tenth time this morning say that's why would never be a general manager is that I wanna see something now. And if I'm Lynch, and I'm Shanahan you have another year. Like, you did the last two patients is gonna wear out and you made oh, wait hope this draft pick develops you made by the time it comes down to your your fourth or fifth year. I know they got along contract. But man, do I want the wolves of my door. I I wanna I want some excitement now and a guy can help me win. Golden what you really need you need a great player. Doesn't matter. What position? Mcshea? We mentioned this yesterday. Mcshane's got his top thirty two out. This is the top five Nick Bosa one Quinton Williams from Bama to the LSU linebacker, Devon white whose of you know, think Patrick Willis. He that's what he is. He's three Jeffrey Simmons the big defensive tackle from Mississippi State is number four. He's interesting because he might be the most talented player in the draft. But also a domestic violence thing in his past which probably the Niners. Steer clear that greedy Williams the corner of Mela she was five so all defensive players basically in the top of the draft. Maybe somebody reaches for Haskins mcshea has Haskins at eleven and Cuyler Murray. He says is going to go twenty four th overall. So he's got he's got Murray. More end of the round one guy. Well, let me start with this for people that are listening tonight. The first question I'm going to ask you is. Do you see any end in sight for ObamaCare? The disaster that's been for people that are listening in our on forced to be on ObamaCare. We saw Blue Cross Blue shield Humana. At many others, canceling more and more plans and getting out of more and more counties. This coming year already reporting that. It's a state like they have to there doesn't seem to be any end in sight for this. My right, you I think you could say that Ben it sure doesn't seem that way. We're we're watching closely to see what's transpiring in DC among the legislatures among the committees that are studying this. We also have our ears. Eyes wide open out in the states where certain things related individual mandates and other things are being discussed and talked about. But but as a whole we're continuing to hear and see pricing increases going up again this year and additional insurance dropping out. So it doesn't appear that anyone's really going to take a clear direction during this during this legislative year. So let's talk about liberty for a second for people that aren't familiar with liberty healthshare. I am a member of liberty healthshare. I found out about liberty through some family and friends after we lost our doctors on on ObamaCare plan. I'm an independent contractor with my work. So I have to get my own insurance. And after our doctors, we lost her doctors. Even Obama said don't worry if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Clearly that was a lie. We were stuck in a situation where we had an extremely high deductible high premiums and terrible coverage. That's where liberty came in for us. So for people that know nothing about liberty. What? Liberty healthshare is and how it is something that is and I want to make this clear it qualifies you under ObamaCare as having coverage even though it's not traditional insurance. Bring your absolutely right medical cost sharing. And liberty healthshare is a recognized method of funding healthcare in the Affordable Healthcare Act and actually the ACA exempts members that are participating in a healthcare sharing ministry from the individual tax mandates, but let me take just a second to just state from a liberty healthshare perspective. We're a national nonprofit organization, essentially like minded people like yourself, your listeners that that share each other's medical expenses on a regular monthly basis, and we actually share those medical expenses. Really by a simple concept that that Christians have been doing for decades way to tap into the heart really of the American tradition because we are truly just neighbors directly helping neighbors with medical expenses. So let's talk about the cost issue here. A lot of people hear this. And they say, well, there's gotta be a catch. You know, it's not going to let me go. See the doctors that I wanna go see this may be too much money that I can't afford or it may not give me enough coverage. So that I'm too liable when I hit max out of pocket, etc. Explain that for people that are listening nights. They understand truly what we're talking about. When it comes to those issues. Sure, let me address the first part in terms of the doctors and things of that nature. We we we have no network, and we we do not have contracts with doctors per se, we have agreements, and we were allowed to go to the doctor of your choice to the provider of your choice and that works to a program multiple options that we have..

"Now, Jerry Larry ticket, deep dive into the bay area columnists from the athletic and. Warriors insider, Marcus Thompson on these. God, Marcus Thompson is here, man. Who knows the NBA we've hung out together. We've I guess Marcus you, and I are probably on the same wavelength on most everything. Correct. My brother. Everything. All right. Larry. Thank you. Larry chastise me for saying at this point season. If you ask me do you pick the warriors or the field? I would probably take the field to win the NBA title. You've been there you understand the game. What say you? Hey, I thought I'd just say everything, but I'm gonna go warriors. Yeah. All right. You don't think this is why the athletic deemed him valuable is very valuable as a knows? It's a shame. He's larry. Getting you tickets for Monday's championship game. Yeah. You should actually twelve dollars right now. Yeah. No. You know what I'm going on? It's just I don't see the dominance. That we've seen in the previous years and there's room for a slip up being along the Western Conference route or Toronto in the finals. So call me crazy. I call myself a man with a vision, Marcus is that I don't think it's crazy, which I think you're actually more. It's more closer to that. That has ever been in his dynasty. Thank you. I just think that in the end in the playoffs talent with out. They just simply have more talented. Everybody else. Does cousins does cousins come in? And is a hit immediately. I think so I think just just by sheer fact that you got a guard of it's not like. Let's see how your achilles field. You're like, no, you better guard that dude because it's still DeMarcus cousins, and you gotta Gardo like that's all they need is a Senate. You have to guard for me. I feel like it. I I don't know how he blows this actually where does it where do they feature him? Do you think on the block or at the three point line? I think you'll go high post just today like that space. You know, I think we'll go elbow area. And you know, they if they're ready to pick and rolls at a guard, which you're gonna go right down low that that's all that's all. They don't have. That's the one piece. They don't have if if they get a point guard stuck on a big minute as little as like looney. Gotta do right. Or was I gonna do. What's your and Bill gonna do? Now the point guard owner, you just go back them down and go get a bucket and. At thirty percents. You get a bucket eighty guard. Elite warriors Rockettes tonight one of the games of the night in the NBA for sure. Klay Thompson scored sixteen points or less than seven of the last eight games. I was talking to people around the team. And and a couple of big guys said the same thing, which was the clay is just not wired to be able to play his best in a contract year. And that maybe the pressure of that contract year is way on him and impacting him. I mean, you're you know, the personalities you get a real good feel for it. What do you think? I thought clay was the dude who is unfazed by everything little surprised by. But I I don't think there's any question the contract year is playing a part. Nothing else. He's trying to prove he deserves it. I mean, he's doing out there looking for thirty points. He's out there like taking off the dribble it crossovers fadeaway. Claire thought you thought you were kind of. But I think there's a part of play that wants to show he could be the man, and he's he's taking shots like he's the bed as the we're we're play like this. It's a little unique. And then he's like ordinary about it like hookah who questioned me about shooting like Larry Bird, Reggie filler. Maybe my coach Steve Kerr the rest of you shut up. You don't know anything about shoot. Maybe Gary could question about probably. Yeah. I probably well compared to you and Larry. Yes. But you still there. Hey, I'd love to see that. By the way, we get Klay on you just start lecturing him on shooting. I don't know. It'd be electorate being intellectual discussion of two shooters for me. I like to see come out of my hand. Yeah. I just love that to me into mardi Lurie. But I'm on fall for it. You know, what I'm curious about though, on on clay, Andrey mine, and this is just for sake of sports talk. This'll be the first year what the warriors get what to all-stars if you had to bet. And that's it. Oh, yeah. I think that's it. Yeah. I mean, what what's it gonna take for the other half the average forty four like January or something? Draymond real. Well, that's that's my thing. Watching from a distance. If people are ignoring you, and you're an all star, you're an Olympian, and they're saying go ahead and shoot that would kinda burn my confidence. Is there some validity to that? No question. I think I think it's yard. I'm a little bit. Like there was a part where even very mild with like, I gotta I gotta get my competence back and who'd ever magin during my struggle with competence. But. I think it's still get to him. But he's trying to psych itself out to just take the shot. Great minds. Holy life is setting up situations. So he gets all crashed to you. So he's like this weird situation where people were kinda trolling him. But you know, he just wants to like have that rebuttal which is why every shot he makes he does that bits and screams out of those will become guard. But I do I do. Mark. Is he happy? This is sounds like kind of a pollyannish deal. Is he happy playing on the warriors now or do you think he looks? And he goes, hey, you know, they wouldn't be leave me unguarded if I was number one or number two on another team. Who? Yes, he happy here. I don't know if he's happy. I think they all are filling a t to a certain extent, I do think there's some like medicines been a long ride is not like it used to be remember it was so much fun about now. It's laborious. So I do think they need the playoffs to get that vibe back. I don't think he's right mind, speak, man. If I was number one number two, I'd be bad. I think he does he's got to work on his shot at work on his game. It if he did leave I think he'd want to go to a place where he doesn't have to be number one or two we can play some defense. It'd be like a X-factor office a playmaker. You don't get a max deal, though, if you're not number one or two I'll do I think back deals kinda been off the table for a while. Okay. So he's settled in there. All right arm, recast Omri Caspian Garrett temple brawling after the grizzlies game. The other day is armory Caspi a tough guy. It seems like he's every time. I'm. Reading about different situations different teams. He's been on. It always seems like it leads to fisticuffs. Is he likes a or what's what's or is? He talked too much or what's the deal by Caspi? As the caffeine. Right. I mean every time I've talked to he's been a little blunt straight board. It will say say what he I don't know if he's knocking out in practice. Right. Right. Right. Like, Tony Allen. But he's not exactly docile, and you know. I think there are some elements about county that you know, if you're not if you're not balling, it makes your teeth sit out Jill. Right. Like, this type of the meters are reserved for people who are putting their work. Beverly see he's not he's not like the quiet soft guy. Like, I don't think he's afraid to mix it up. Hey, you know, Bill Duffy is a good buddy of mine out in walnut creek. And obviously he reps. Pat McCaw eventually, I'll get build a spit it out. And tell me exactly what the deal was. But I mean, is it simply that you think McCaw just one more PT you just one more time on the floor. And I just I don't I don't under-. I mean, I guess I understand I understand the guy wants to play. I understand that. But I I'm surprised that he wasn't Niro more patients with his we, you know, with his, you know, career and kind of force this whole thing to Cleveland. It's like, hey, are you the winner you woke up and now, you're you know, you're in Cleveland. I mean to be honest. I think there's something else going on what it is. But. He could get twenty five minutes with the warriors. Like if he was playing, well, he's as good as he thinks. He's what they need. They're running the all-star ground. They don't wait quick. He and they come after me. They could use them. I don't know. How he does. It look at the St. say he gets forty five minutes. To McKinney walked on off the street and got minutes. So I'm trying to figure out where did you get more than that? Because he envisions himself as a starter. That's all. So he goes to Cleveland would like to guards that they've drag like, I don't. I don't know. I don't know. I just don't get it. I don't understand I need to hear from him. I wanna hear his explanation because it just doesn't add up. I don't I don't know. How I don't know what kind of rubric he was working with it. He he clearly wants to play any clearly wanted to be a situation where he was I would say probably appreciate it. It's never just about the minute. It's about feeling right? It's there's some feeling that were that. That's the only reason why you like, yeah. You guys. If that's not the Steelers thirty he was like, Nah, I don't wanna play with. So something happened. There's something else there. I think for fun. I got in front of me has first game last night played eighteen minutes. Two points, no rebounds, one assist lost to Miami. And I don't know if you believe in plus minus he was. What the hell was he on plus my he was minus eight so not a great start anyone. I mean, he could have done that with the warriors. I don't think it's as simple as he looks up. You got clay, and you got curry and they're not going anywhere. And I don't wanna come off the bench. It's it's not that. Not that this year. Like he would have he could have been free next year. He could've came and play. You wanna play in the playoffs. You want people to see you on that stage. That's how you get the contract. That's how you get other teams to come sign. You no matter what was going to have. There's no situation in this league in two thousand eighteen nineteen we're packing recalls. The starter not one you pick the worst team in the league. He's not starting. So where where was the situation that it wasn't? It wasn't going to manifest yet. His best bet was forward to happen in a year or two and the way you do that is to play in the playoffs and show everybody you can ball you've never manifest on this program. You know, he played well in the finals though, and that opened people's eyes a couple years ago. Hey, I'm reading all these rumors. The trade deadline coming up in February Kaminski's being shot by Charlotte. And you know, Bob Myers has never made a trade at the trade deadline since he's been the the warriors general manager. He hasn't needed to. But. Do you think he's gonna that streaks can remain intact?.
