"Just answered my own question. It's actually on sunday on sunday selena. Hbo show yeah. I believe so. I mean it's Well you mean difference between. Hbo and hbo max. Is that what you're or. Hbo original so max like flights ended in air on hbo. Just aired on hbo. Max yeah. I'm not sure i'm not sure i'm glad to have max though. Because they're killing it and this is just another addition to what they're doing. This library of these awesome original content series is that they're putting out so very very happy with it. I just don't know what the hell's going to happen and that's probably the best part about it. You know dan fucked me up was before we watch that roadrunner movie. They did the trailer for like the prequel for the sopranos. I've never watched. I've never watched the sopranos. It's pretty brilliant for four seasons this trailer and watching his son playing him in it made me want to watch the sopranos and like totally. Think you should man because it comes out this fall and it's like okay. Maybe you know. Maybe i should just put some of these things that i've been watching on the back burner and like do a sopranos watch because i love gangsta shit. I'm a huge fan of goodfellas and all this shit man. Maybe i should fucking just like dive into the sopranos socratic. Legend for like light. Vick said forth is some of the tv. You will ever see your life. Okay question okay. it's gotta happen. I've got to watch the sopranos. That's the last couple seasons have their moments but it's pretty much brilliant from edge to edge for four seasons and then all of sudden it's like oh you can tell that they made them have three more seasons they start just killing people. Like why would. What's but i still watch the no mistake. I still watch every single episode so it was. It was a good Good show beer with wide worried about this new thing. They're doing man. I don't know anyway anyway for four seasons except a perfect show. Yeah one has to ask themselves. This really need to be made. I'm not entirely sure. But i appreciate that they're doing it. You know i mean. I think that There's a lot about tony. Soprano that we can still find out. I really want to see the origin story. And you know. But what. I love about the trailer and you have to be in sopranos to get this. I'm talking about tony's mom you'll just brand. You'll learn to know tony's mom. He's one way pretty much throughout the whole series. And when you see the young version of his mom i don't even remember what the line was but she makes this face and you're like oh my god like you are you. Are this woman like it's just I don't want to spoil anything about his mom about sopranos. Actually but i think it's going to be good dude. I really do i. If it's not like sopranos worthy as far as like something that they feel you know we would feel comfortable including with the sopranos laura. I think it's going to be good on his own. It's just a standalone like regular old gangster movie. I'm pretty. I'm pretty easy on the gangster movies. I just like that. It's movies and stuff is crazy dude. It's like like right before the fucking fast nine movie came out. I'm like i'm going to do this. Whole fuck fast and furious. Watch that. I've never fucking delve into. And then i started getting these feelings about paul walker at the end and i feel like maybe if i go down this fucking sopranos fuckin- journey. I might start getting. Because i i appreciate james gandolfini. I love him and true lies. You know i love to live. I loved i think james scandal phoenix fucking really good actor. But i've never seen him like shine like the way everybody talks about him in the soprano role. Tony soprano. yeah real quick. Let me get a taste of his viciousness when you see true romance i mean tony. Soprano most of the time until you get pissed off. You get a taste of that viciousness and true romance true. Yes that was a fun. Movie real quick. Let's talk about these last couple of things. We're gonna talk about quick. The beasts must die on amc plus and then it dropped a week later on regular amc and this stars. Billy how cush jumbo. And then jared harris which was not in the first episode. I watched the first episode. It's about jumbo plays a woman who ingratiates herself with the family of a man. She believes responsible for the fatal hit and run of her young son. She's tracked by a detective. Played by billy how who's reasonably has department covered the man's involvement in the incident. And it's an amc. Plus original six part revenge thriller and i watched the first episode and i i enjoyed it. I'll give it a solid taste. It and i think that You know it's one of those. Like i may or may not come back to the next episode like i'm ready for the next episode of the white lotus which i loved and i don't know if i'm gonna come back to this one right away i i'm going to be finishing. I think i'd be finishing dr death before this one but who else watched the beasts must die. I did what did you think steve I love gumbo eilly i. I loved her in the good fight. The good wife. I thought she was. I've never seen either of those. They're they're in the title. Yeah i this this show for about half of the show. I had no idea what the hell was on. I was like what are we doing. And then it finds it sea legs. Or maybe i just had to catch up and by the end of it. I'm right with you brian. I think i could see this being the sell totally. Forget about next week. Hated you ever finish. I'll be like. Oh you're right and i'll go binge it but i would say if i if it came up a conversation i would recommend it would bring it up in conversation no way. It wouldn't be something that just. Oh you gotta see this. Mc plus i will give it a low taste you with a few want to because this is not a watch. While you're you have to sit down focus. Is it worth a person's focus. I don't know but i'll give a little taste it. Here's the thing though steve. I'm a huge fan of jared harris. I love them. Noble and he hasn't even appeared in the first episode. so maybe maybe maybe i'm speaking a little prematurely. And once we get to the jared harris stuff. I'm going to be all about it so you know maybe i'll maybe i'll give it a second episode. Just to get to to jared harris because we haven't gotten jerry hairs yet in the series normally. He plays a dangerous person where you're like if he's trying to ingratiate herself into family know what he's capable of sometimes place. Oh date or is there like all boy. Who's this guy. So who knows either way i. I wouldn't be opposed to ninety nine for the show. I wasn't like wasted three.

So that because way got way had to Francis with what way? Haven't had the one year way had a little little front come in. And then yesterday it was rough and hacked again. Um, better today. But not not great, but better today, And then there's another one coming in tomorrow night, our mark even tomorrow evening, but it's gonna We're gonna We're gonna have South Wind east Wind west Wind and north wind in 24 hours up, but your dearly said probably gonna freeze Monday morning. I'll tell you what. Last time I was at my dear Lise Woz Tuesday morning, and it was 27 e. I wasn't prepared. Didn't have the clothes with you. Ah, you know, I just My body wasn't prepared, not close, but it's a sometimes it's just psychological thing. I understand. But you stand there. You stand there and you go. Oh, My that mad Adam, or should I go back to bed? No, You better go get out in the blind. Well. And then you don't shoot one unless a big one. A really big one comes out and you sit there. I really want to get my knife. Nasty. Oh, I saw the big one to holy cow. And he is big South Texas Big Good guy, something that I would have needed a machine gun. It was that quick, you know? Hey, just run through. Yeah, he's big. I don't know what I'd have done. I was there by myself. I've had Call for help. Couldn't have got him in the truck. But, you know We got a trip for two out this week. You know, uh and the fish are still there. If if the people would come down in Beta hook, we could catch some fish. Vermillion staffer Kingfish shark. They told me they had to release like 15 of them endangered sandbar sharks, You know, they all weighed about £150 or better. It's quite a thrill if you haven't done it before. It's not a thrill for me. Not interested at all. You get the long needle nose pliers. Get that hook out of his mouth. Oh, that. Just just give me a new leader. Just cut it off that, Yeah. I've had that experience before. And and if you look at the back of my ankle, you see what I'm talking about. You know, if you doing something involving the outdoors, it's going to be a contest. Well, deep sea I mean dolphin docks. Their boat is slower than hell. Because I've been on it. Yeah, but they've got that newer boat like I knew what people and it's fast. It's called The Express and it pretty much is It's a nice boat, and, uh, big Tim. Captain Tim runs that boat and they do a fine job. They do a really good job. You know, that's our competitors and on and we we like to talk a little nasty about it. But where? What we're friends now is All still around. He's gotta be getting Sameh Joanie. He must be 85 out of seven. He's a He's the only man I can't tell you that story on the radio, but, uh He lives in. "Family. This is the first of three seasons in a row where. Acdc songs accompanied the recap. This season was hell's bells season for. Is you shook me all night long in season. Five is thunderstruck in my last little tidbit. Also totally bit filming. The boys escaped from the bar. Several takes were done of jared diving into the backseat. Of bobby's car. The director commanders wanted it to happen fast. And because jared is six foot four in was diving into a small space he kept banging his head in the same spot over and over concussion. Well when hair makeup came to touch them up after the scene. The hairstylist ran her hanser. Jerry's hair in a small clump of hair with a piece of scalp came out. Oh god they use that clump of hair in the box. The boys used to summon the crossers david later in the series. It remains in the proper lockup to this day no both are is poor head locks..

Peddling pipe and how. What is what is that for those who don't know been coupling? So he were the old business and to drill you obviously in the couplings, connect the pipe to drill for oil. So Dad was in the pipe coupling business and he was he would call it peddling pipe. Paralympic. No John Pendant peddling pipe, and that twenty did on the phone eight to six, and then he hit the road and go. Make personal appearances China. So pipe, he started office a truck driver than own Texaco station down you've Audi we moved to longview Texas in the oil boom within like six months after being in Longview Dad like twenty six employees under him. That's how big of an oil boom was, and then obviously at that business through, I think around eighty two and he kind of held on from there he was always. Always peddler is line was great. He was always be never did it never went bankrupt and that was a piece of honor for him not to go bankrupt but he was always after all boom sort of busted he was always act boys if I could just. I just hit a lick and he never did hit that. Lick. But if if he lick is Big Sale Olympic is a big cow. Lick is okay. Mr Jim Magana Hey i. want all my pipe from you and we're going to drill two hundred thousand feet above abide. So says huge count on my Gosh I'm going to supply the pipe to this one large account that would be a lick he never quite yet So we're going to jump to the other track with mom for a second here and at like to have conversation about or description maybe of mink oil. Could you tell us how oil entered your life please I would not be here talking to you right now if it wasn't for the oil of Meek Yeah. It was about home fourteen, fifteen years old ninth grade adolescence. My mom starts pedaling again. Pentland Milan family was pedaling something. My mom starts pedaling this oil of me product door to door sales. Look here you put this mink oil on your face it brings out all the impurities that you have and watch those impurities all come out. You then have clear glowing in for the rest of your life that was sort of the sales pitch, right? Well. I'm fifteen I got a few pimples as any fifteen year. Old Does one night. My mom goes well, you should choose this all. Great you're let me do that. Sure. So I started putting this oil make on my face every night before I go to bed, and after about a week I wake up and got more pimples than I had a week. And I check in the mirror, go to Mama as don't. She goes that exactly what is supposed to to pull out all the impurities keep doing it stick with it. Sure. I'd just religiously keep putting it on after two weeks. Now seem to be run into a problem. He I've got I've. got a whole full of pimples and it's it's it's getting pretty severe back. She's Oh. Wow. You've just got more impurities then I thought you just keep keep doing it going to keep bringing out those impurities I keep it up three weeks. Go by now I've got full blown acne and I'm really concerned my mom's staying on with no stick with it all coming out well, I, sneak off to the dermatologist on my own. And this was not my mom's recommendation. I, sneak there on mountains in take a bottle of this Mako go doc look at my face. This is put on your face shown this bodies liberty reads ladies like Oh no, no, no, no, no, no no this is I someone that's like forty year old or not a teenage child who's got oily pours anyway this blocking your pores your pores can't breathe. You are ten days away from having ice pick holes in your face from acne. Off This Okay. As we also have to get you on this stuff got accutane. It's a years worth of medicine. It will dry you up. There will have its complications, but it'll be better than in the acting that you can have APSO boom. Get on the accutane off the oil of make and around that time my dad who's always as peddling and look and how to hit lick. says. Damn Boy I. We got a lawsuit against his company. Them becoming I mean you're you're looking at me look as you you're all swollen up. So he takes me to see lawyer remember lawyers, Jerry hairs. So I'm sitting down with my dad and his lawyer Jerry Harrison new think we got a case and he asked me like you know, hey, did you confidence lower? We know with these these pimples you've got this acne down by guess Sir because we are you doing good with the girls and I said no, sir, not at all he his eyes light up and I can tell that even at my age fifteen he he's building his case goes. Emotional distress you were under emotional are under emotional distress and I look at him and I'm like sure yeah Moshe stress in. Jerry's. Gosh dog we can get thirty five to fifty thousand dollars emotional distress go long way Jim Medaglia caught. At fifty thousand dollars a way to goes on and so that's getting all excited about this deal. We're GONNA make fifty thousand dollars off of my emotional distress is youngest son. So anyway, meanwhile on accutane. Takes a year to get clear up and you get Scaly Dandruff in your knees. Hurt you get slits in your mouth and everything else but much better than this acne and it's yacky clear in this acne up on my faith well, as lawsuits go they drag on awhile. So come two years later I'm back in Jerry Harrison office sitting across the table from the.

"Is a tough conversation, but I feel like we've had conversations like this for a long, long time. This is the Colleen and Bradley show. I talked 1071 streaming live at my talk 1071 dot com. Everything entertainment Pelin Lindstrom Bradley trainer. Hey, So you didn't watch the documentary cheer? No, on Netflix, Did you okay, So I did, and I Loved it. And there was one particular person who captured everybody's hearts on that documentary, and his name is Jerry Harris. And we heard recently that Jerry Harris Had some allegations brought to him by Ah, a pair of twins who were ah young underage. I want to say they were like 14 or 15. At the time that Jerry Harris Solicited some Um Sexual in nature. Ah, um, interactions with them, okay? And so You know, so he's been arrested. But then now we're learning about more allegations, and these were made in a government motion for pre trial detention against Jerry Harris. Who, of course we all know from Cheer and apparently like there are many other stories that are starting to bubble to the surface about the way that he leveraged his own celebrity because of his His appearance on that dock, you Syria Documentary You're docuseries cheer and And it means there are stories of rape of a 15 year old boys at cheer competitions in public spaces. There are stories of him offering money in exchange for certain services by Children. And it's interesting because I read through some of these allegations and you get that pit in your stomach. And it's like this experience that were kind of familiar with now, when somebody who you've admired for one reason or another You find out that they're not who you thought they were. Oh, yeah. Or that the dimension the 21st century, Right, like we've been on that journey for a while. Now, Right? Like you've been delivered a one dimensional version of a person. And you like that version of the person And then you learned that that person is nowhere near who you thought they were. Well, Jerry The thing that I find interesting about Jerry is, you know we weren't the only ones elevating him. But like Ellen did generous. Don't forget this. Ellen de generous had him on her show and sent him to the red carpet for the Oscars. And so then there he was on the red carpet with the microphone, talking to all the celebrities who were equally starstruck with him. And it just got me thinking like I would like to hear from I'd like to hear from Ellen. I would like to hear from because it's like this has happened and it and it's in the headlines of the news. But then it's like nobody wants to address it. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, with Alan. I don't know if show ever address anything like this. But if she were gonna dress it, I mean, certainly I all I would expect her to say is, you know that Is not the person I knew, and that's disgusting, and I hope that he's held accountable for all of the You know? Things that he is alleged to have done. Yeah, I don't know what I mean. It's not like she knew right now, And that's not why I'm you know. Yeah. When I say I would like to hear from her. It's not because she owes Any sort of it's It's not like that. It's not like she created this. It's not like you said, like she knew, And the same goes for the docuseries right? Like they didn't know. Who, Jerry hair and what I should be clear and saying is, we don't know that they didn't know. But assuming they didn't know where there weren't signs because sometimes with these stories, you know there actually were in people should have known better, but we don't know what people did her didn't know. But presuming they didn't know. Then you wouldn't expect them toe right? Sort of feel in any way responsible. Even though you've got to feel like ooh, That's unfortunate that we Like, you know, Ellen is not the first person that's run into stories like this. Absolutely not. And I guess that that's why I want to hear from her because I think there's an opportunity here. Four. I know And I know it's uncomfortable, but for her as a celebrity and other people who maybe have Who have celebrated Jerry That there's an opportunity for them to sort of guide us through the murky waters of reckoning with what happens when you have elevated somebody. And they have turned out to be not who you thought they were. And again. This is an exercise we have had, as you pointed out so many times in the 21st century. So many times because Any number of, you know, I think about I'll just use Michael Jackson as an example. Right? We've wrestled with that conversation for a long time. Is that that, you know, can you Appreciate somebody for their contribution to art. Or they're his music in this case. And still You know, not accept. The wrong that he may have done. Yeah, there's I mean, that's a lot right Lady. I think of, you know, with Michael Jackson in particular. I think it's a different conversation in that there are people who owe explanations and conversations about why They felt fine. Ignoring the allegations that were staring them in the face in orderto have a relationship publicly with that person like I think that's a valid question, right? Because you want to know like So are you not believing victims right when you knew that Michael Jackson had been alleged, and I think a lot of people and you know whether it's Michael Jackson whether it's Bill Cosby Again picking examples where people And put allegations out there hardly points, you know, and they continue to have a relationship. With that individual like I think the test of your character is like, what do you do when you're presented with that information, right? Yeah. And how do you follow? I wouldn't be surprised if Ellen doesn't respond in some way. Just, you know, maybe speaking out on behalf the victims and You know, just because she probably because if she I don't know how she lifted this person up. But if she did feel like she played a part in lifting this person up She might feel some obligation toe. To comment on that one. And I think that's the other point is that you know there are victims. They're a real victims in this story who have now come forward have shared barely a lot. Yeah, a lot more than we thought right at initially and probably a lot more than we even know of now. And those victims deserve to hear somebody who elevated the person who It was who was the perpetrator? They deserve to hear those people, you know, speak on their behalf. A CZ? Well, Onda again. It's not that Ellen or anybody else who elevated Jerry in this way. It's not that they Are responsible for his behavior. That's not it at all. But there is a responsibility there to say. I took part in You know? Putting this person forward and I did not know that these were things were the case. I did not know that he was treating people in this way. And so on behalf of the victims, you know, I'm I'm so sorry that this happened to you. You know, because that would be just I just imagine what that would be like to be. Ah! Ah young person who had been Abused by Jerry Harris to see Ellen Degenerate, trotting him out to the red carpet at the Oscars and putting him out front and centre and seeing all these people praise him. For who he is and know that you had been a victim of The bad part. The worst parts of him. He absolutely. Anyway, I know it's a hard it's a hard conversation to have, but it it's it's It's in the headlines today and it's ah It's gross when we come back on the Colleen and Bradley show, Bradley do you want to tell us a little bit about why we're asking people food item? They were like cryogenically frozen. You might wonder why would ask such a question, But I do want to know what fast food item would you cryogenically freeze for science? And this all has to do with something that Ah gentleman froze..

Rebound Yokich has not the way from behind and they don't call the foul amino acid down low. And now they call a foul on mill. Joker completely got hit head. But he's got a good learning for joker that away. Just walk away. Walkaway somebody get joker timeout. Call by Michael Malone here with four zero two left to go in the basketball game. And we'll keep it here hands. I'm seeing a replay yet on here's one on just missed the one on altitude television. Maybe they'll show it again. But you gotta just let that one go. Yeah. You missed the call joker nuggets are up eight they probably could've gone ten on that. Because they had a fast break. Joker tried to pull it back at a guy came right over its back at hit him in the head. But rest missed it. So now, the nuggets look at closest thing. Now, they're up by eight with four zero two to go. What do you think hands? If they get to fifteen one fifteen I should do it. Right. They could actually the last two times the nuggets of scored one hundred thirteen points in the game in the first to me. Here's the scary. That causes the what I liked often go to find it here somewhere. Is it the lead into the fourth quarter out that Doug answer? If they if they lead after three forty two and one no forty three in one at they trail after three they're five twenty four, right? But they got the lead. Now, that's the most important thing. Denver breaks. Timeout huddle with Jamaal Murray. Harry, Harris Nicola Yokich Millsaps, Tori. Craig the good thing. And I love the decision here. Hands of going with Tori, Craig instead of Wilburton down the stretch. All I do defense is going to win this game for you. And I like what at Millsaps made a great play there because they know had easy layup, and he tried to reverse soy took an extra dribble its side out of bounds. Almost a five second count here. The inbound goes to canter canter got it out there by Nicola yoga chance at after Rodney hood, there's a pick number shows hard on hood takes a contested three. Jumper rattles in divall one underneath that three point shot and give good credit. He made a tough shot gets the buckets here, Nicole yoga, Chaz it on the elbow hands. It off the Craig I left side. Now Millsap hasn't he wants to feed Yokich on the elbow. Can't get it to them. They're back over Jamal Murray Murray split the defenders through the window Yokich has it right side in the corner. Harris three missed it again when he was really struggling he's one for eight. And again, I I look at them, and I see just a little bit of a fade on every shot. And that's in the paint. Kanter has it. Leans in way up is up in five nothing run by the Portland Trail. Blazers out of the time out has this game down to a three point lead for Denver one eight two one five I might have stayed with manti to instead of Jerry hairs. Interesting nuggets have played the pleasures. Awhile. But those games have all been close yoga Chazan inside the arc grows in the corner. Craig touch past Harris over to joker joker back in the corner over to Millsaps for three that's an air ball rebound, Craig. And he put it back up. What up play a kid the value of Pori Craig nuggets are getting caught on the perimeter? They're going to have to get this fall back down the joker in the post. Lillard has it watch it over to the high left side whistle and a foul. Call away from the play on Jamal Murray. Gotta use your head there. Young man. How? Hood.

"You sign a five year deal? Don't sign angered you'll because here's the difference. You look at guys. Nobody's getting. Hughes contracts anymore. Thirty one thirty two years of age. Right. So you set yourself up get guaranteed money five years, Jimmy, seventy five ninety five whatever the number is the market value is then if assures me to hit free agency at twenty six years old dressed like Manny Machado judge site price are right, then you can say a ten year three hundred million by that time. It could be ten years. Four hundred million. You don't saying you don't know what's going to happen. Sign. You're guaranteed now give up three or four years of free agency. Then now, he's hit the market thirty one years of age or whatever. And at that time it said, you know, we're getting those long term does a thirty year old thirty one thirty two year old. That's what that's what crushes me and the option that he got club option, there weren't even neutral auction. So I don't put the onus on on twenty one year old. I'm looking for this kid. I I love Jerry. He's not wrong. He's not wrong. Thank Jerry hairs junior for making time force. Matt norlander covers college hoops with distinction CBS sports, CBS sports dot com. CBS four takes you can catch him there, including my show writer's. Block five o'clock Pacific every day during the week shameless. Plug number two here on the program that I won't be on the next couple days because be doing Jim Rome show a little bit of a conflict in terms of times had met norlander on the program. And we talked earlier in the show about who we thought which some of the most pressure, the final four father notion really interesting because tied up in that has ambition and perspectives on legacy and ideas. Of redemption. If you buy into that Bruce Pearl the the show cause for the three or penalty and Tony Bennett losing to the sixteen last year. And I I'm Chris beard. Most wouldn't I made a case crispier that close to the top of the mountain for the first time a guy who wants to get there again, and again, and again and the power of not knowing when you'll have a chance again, and the reality that if you win this thing, it changes and transforms for all time your ability, if you're even half as good coaches, you think you are..

"Called writer than you. And now we've got some some by coastal influence is going on the program. I am now based just moved. If you go back to beautiful, Los Angeles, California. The guys integral part of the show. Mr. Kovacs topped about debt into day the trace right Nikki in days a week are back in New York City. And we appreciate you very much hanging out with us. Spend some time with us giving us a call eight five five two one two four CBS like our guy. Greg lake Charles who is now on CBS sports radio. What's up, Greg? What's up, boss, man? Thank you for taking my call. You bet. And I want to say with that nation, and oh, yeah. Man. I have agree with you wholeheartedly on. Yeah. On this thing. That's why I called in the ban saying that about Westbrook. Him and Yang to me. Those do never ever cheat the game they always come out every night and never, you know, like acting like, oh, well, I'm the guy. Just check said, you know, what I'm saying? It's true. Is that what he said? And then the day I seen my son. He was watching on. So like, you said he could be you know, the future. I love hearing that because I think he is Greg. Thanks for the call. It's interesting Greg you said that the other day about was broken now. And you're you're not wrong. And so it has me I won't say reconsidering my perspective on Russell Westbrook for trying to be a little more, maybe three dimensional my view of the guy because I I'm not convinced that his approach is winning basketball. I don't like the way he treats the media. I know from I don't know, but Lee Jenkins, formerly Sports Illustrated now clippers employee wrote a really in-depth stories Sports Illustrated at the time on Russ what a great human being. He was I think things like dedicating a game that twenty twenty twenty game nipsy Russell speak to some character. Bobby more than yourself, and you're right. He does not see the game. Doesn't mean you're going to turn that dedication into championships. But he does not cheat the game. And that is something that I should celebrate actually call eight five five two one two four CBS is the phone number in just a minute. Gonna play some of the earlier spaces of earlier conversations with guys on the show. Jerry Harrison, junior longtime major leaguer friend of the program. Former dodger cub Yankee and now toddlers analysts in Matt norlander who was in a lift with Jeff Goodman. Jeff was texting me things to say the mat to throw at off during the interview, which respect even though it's really mean-spirited respect aggressively. But I I wanted to take a pause and say, Stu and Ryan's not here and trays and Tom June amazing job, very appreciative. Those guys dependent on Twitter producers for Tom Stuart Kovacs to Kovacs CBS and trace Ryan underscore Hickey three. They they do great work. Appreciate that. Appreciate you. Listen and pre sheet guys like Jerry hairs junior. Always makes time for us here on the show. And when Jerry was on the first hour, and if you miss the interview, if you missed any part of the program, if you're away from your wonderful filial, you can find what you need. You're on the show any part CBS sports radio at radio dot com. When Jerry was on earlier, he gave us his impressions of the dodgers far. I've just seen young guys like Jok Peterson and Cody Bellinger, making a pretty good stride, especially off economically, and they're making a conscious effort to put the ball in play your last year's the strikeouts of really played the dodgers, especially in the World Series. And they've really tried to change that. And there's an back. Cody Bellinger has a pitch at bat. They're down run run on first base. And he just wanted to put the ball in play. He did that uses speedy got on based on age Pollick better with a two run. Double to put the dodge the head those types of the at bats I've seen John Peterson Cody. Bellinger, and really the lineup. The power is always gonna be there for those guys if they can continue to have that approach when they get to strikes put the ball in play. This team is going to be dangerous. You know, we have the end of every hour little inside baseball. Big technicalities. We have called a hard out the time that we throw a break is is malleable until the last part of the show that it's exactly the same time. So if I keep talking or guess keeps talking we just run into hard out here. Go to break, and you know, I try to be professional and make sure that heaven it's rare that doesn't show, but sometimes it guess I'll get really fired up and just keep on going keep on truckin. My love that love the passion and the authenticity that comes from those kind of moments and that happened with cherry earlier in the day. And what really got him worked up is when I asked him because young Mr. kunia with the Braves that are playing my cubs right now just guy. He's twenty one year old reigning National League rookie of the year. Very bright tail just got an eight year hundred million dollar deal feels like bargain with praise, but I want to ask Jerry, and he got pretty fired up when I asked him what he made of that contract. I understand, you know, young guys getting their deals, and what basically baseball players are are are close you're doing for players the brains deal if I'm the brave front office. I'm doing cartwheels getting a Kuna to sign that eight year deal with two club options a mutual option for Kuna was I mean, a generational type of player. He's the Facebook franchise. I think is a terrible deal. If you're kunas. This guy's the reigning rookie of the year. He doesn't even get a Steiner bonus. It's tough to quote options. You know, if I was a Khuda, I would probably try to sign a five year deal possibly seventy five million the ninety five dollar deal. Hit free agency twenty six years old. The perfect blueprint a Mike you out deal. I think he's saying six years one forty four. I'm my trout five years for ninety m saying that is the blueprint now you if you're the Braves have a Kuna under contract for eight years for one hundred million. Yes. One hundred million teen, but this guy be the face of the game in two or three years. He has that type of -bility why not sign up by your deal for seventy five eighty five ninety dollars. That's guaranteed money right there. You've wasted thrown away those three or four years of free agency. I just think he's gonna regret that deal in about two or three years. I love the Canada from Jerry my favorite things about him. I I'm not a big dusty Baker fan because I'm a cubs fan. And I, you know, one of the arms of carry wooden Mark prior to I I don't know not be cheese. And once that Upton, Jay. Jerry. And Jerry just went after me, Jerry. And I are I mean, we're we're buddies. I mean, we get along. I love guys that that are honest, and that are authentic and say what they actually mean and me with that actually say as well so into this this notion of Jerry's passionate about the Kuni deal that I wanted to go further and ask them. All right. You hate the deal who do you blame for the contracts? The is really on the agent you have to look to your player. And then if you're twenty twenty one years old the veteran players in the club, you know, ask them, and I I I don't blame that he sees billion dollars billion dollars money. Let me jump on it saying, and then if I was on that team a veteran guy on their team, and I wish guy like Adam Jones on that team or somebody like that kinda pull an aside. Hey kit. Hey hundred million dollars money. I'm not saying if not why don't.
