"In August Schultz decides on a bold move. He called Baldwin at home. Hi Jerry I've thought it over and I need to explore espresso bars. The concept may not workout. But I have to try it. I get it but as I've said a thousand times now's not the right time for us to pursue this. I know I know. And that's why I've decided to set up my own company strike out on my own. I think that's a great move for you now. You know what to show you. We believe in you I leave and write you a check for one hundred fifty thousand dollars. Cow Well thanks Jerry. Your faith in me means a lot. It's April nine thousand. Nine hundred five opening Dave Schultz Zone. Seven Hundred Square foot store on the ground floor of a shiny new office tower. This shop is named heals. Your Nollie after Milan's daily newspaper with this long counter wooden floors and roundtables. It's a slice of Italy in downtown. Seattle shorts greets customers as they arrive. You might try a cafe latte. I've never heard of it. It's new to America. Delicious Espresso topped with steam milk. The perfect marriage sure. I'll give it a try. Schultz rolls up his sleeves and works alongside the Baristas. He four shots steams milk blends beverages. He can't stop smiling. He's dreaming of Espresso Bars and every American city. And he knows he won't stop until it them. Two years later Schultz is making Kapa Chino at LG or knowledge when Jerry Baldwin Calls Hi Howard. I have big news. We're going to sell starbucks. All six stores. Why we need to focus on running Pete's and that's why I'm calling. I'd like you to have starbucks. I'll give you a ninety day exclusive to raise the money. The prices three point eight million. That's a lot of money for scholes. But the prospect of owning starbucks sets his brain on. Fire Schultz convinces investors. The Espresso concept will take off two months later. He's raised two million dollars. He's confident he'll get the rest in time with the deadline looming Baldwin asks for a meeting at a downtown restaurant. I'm sorry Howard. But one of your yields investors has offered us four million cash Schultz stares at him. He feels as if the world just ended. Luckily Schultz has Seattle's most powerful and respected lawyer on his side Bill Gates senior father of the tech mogul. He's the colleague of a friend. Schultz Russia's to see him gates is a towering figure literally he 6'7 and known for rattling. The city's bigwigs gates listens then gets up and take shots to the investors office. They burst past his secretary in March up to his desk. Before the man can say anything gates explodes. You should be ashamed of yourself trying to steal this kid's dream you'll stand down this kid's buying this company. Remarkably that's all it takes. The investor withdraws his offer in August nineteen eighty seven Howard Schultz by starbucks for three point. Eight million dollars but almost immediately Schultz spaces a conundrum. The coffee market has been stagnant. Young people would rather drink soda. He has to figure out how to get them into starbucks and convinced them they want good coffee and Espresso for a frothy price. It's not going to be easy. But SCHOLTZ has total faith in his own abilities and it is coffee. He's sure he can persuade millions of people to love it. And he won't stop until they do. It's nineteen eighty-eight back East Dunkin donuts. Eeo Bob Rosenberg has big plans for something. He thinks. We'll take the company to the next level but it's not just up to him fifty year old. Donuts coffers and fast Bob's embarrassed and panicked but bill still licking his wounds. He hasn't forgotten his son's betrayal. Look at these sales figures Bob. This is a disaster. I don't like to say I told you so but I know you told me well. He's too late now. You went behind my back. You had no respect for me now. You've gotten us in a mess. I'm done I promise. You'll never see my face in the company's office again. The next day bill is at home still seething someone knocks on his front door. He answers it and sees a man holding a massive box. What's all this? I have a package for you. Bill takes the package inside as he opens. His wife enters the room. What's that I can't believe it? It's my portrait from the lobby of the corporate office. Why was it said here? I told Bob he'd never see my face there again. I guess he doesn't WanNa see it. Either in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine. There's more bad news with a company. Weakened and the Chili's franchises sold a corporate raider tries to takeover Bob Rosenberg fights to maintain control but the next year he agrees to sell Dunkin donuts to a British company allied. Leon they own the company but Bob remains at the helm. Bob Holds Breakfast meeting with the new owner. But it's not the friendly chat. He'd anticipated Bob. Our priority is to grow the company so we need to make changes within the stores. So we're getting rid of the counters. They take up. Eighty percents the space but account for only twenty percent of business but counters are important hostesses. No are counter customers by name and know exactly what they want they don't even have to order having counters means only having stores in suburbia where. There's enough space. We need smaller urban stores. That reminds me another thing. That's got to go having the kitchen inside the store. You don't get it. Our customers love looking through the window and seeing the donuts mate. Despite Bob's protests allied Leon create separate kitchens and then delivers donuts to the stores without a kitchen or a counter. The company is able to open smaller stores and kiosks and bus terminals train stations in department stores some measuring only sixty four square feet but the smaller stores do great business. One takes a million dollars in. Its first year. In the next four years Dunkin donuts moves from eighty new store openings. A year to more than three hundred by nineteen ninety..

"While. Scholtz tries time and again to get a job at starbucks Dunkin donuts. Ceo Bob Rosenberg is basking in his company. Success they now have more than one thousand franchises throughout the northeast though his father Bill Rosenberg is no longer. Ceo He's the company's most knowledgeable and respected adviser wherever he goes for business or pleasure. He looks for potential new store. Locations or checks out existing stores builds developed a point system to scout out the best locations for new stores. It gives credit for visibility. Traffic Count for traffic. The ease of getting in and out of the store. Plus points for demographic diversity how many people live nearby how well nearby supermarkets are doing. Even the number of kids bikes is an indicator. Kids eat more doughnuts than adults. They build Dunkin donuts franchises in places that receive at least seven points and these prime locations can be anywhere lately. Dunkin donuts franchise stores have been cropping up outside the US. Many of them in Asia in the fall of Nineteen eighty-one Rosenberg and his wife visit Dunkin donut. Stores in Singapore and Hong Kong businesses booming. Their next stop his Bangkok Thailand. The Dunkin donuts store in the World Rosenberg and his wife gingerly crossed the street in Siam Square. A popular shopping district motorcycles and buses go whizzing by the streets are packed with small shops and restaurants and stalls selling food and Candy. It's eight am and the store is already bustling. Well look at that. One hundred thirty seats in every one of them failed at the counter. Young shop wearing trendy blackout fits stand next to businessmen in suits local musicians who've been up all night and are making their final stop before they go to bed. They're all drinking coffee out of Dunkin donuts signature Styrofoam Cups with a name written out in bright orange and pink and they're happily devouring the special doughnut geared to tie tastes a traditional glazed donut shop with dried shredded chicken. Thai Chili Paste. Rosenberg looks on the big smile on his face. He's proud of the savvy way. Dunkin donuts has adapted its menu to its locations around the world. It's a smart move that let them quickly gain a solid foothold overseas from there. Rosenberg goes to Japan where the first International Dunkin donuts open in nineteen seventy. Most of the Tokyo franchises are running smoothly but to his perfectionist. I one store stands out. He pulls the franchise owner aside. You'll coffee's cold. Dunkin donuts is famous for its coffee. It's the best there is if you can't meet my standards. I warned you. I'll shut down you store. We will do better. I promise. Then start now. My good name depends on you doing your job. The whole point of these stories is to share the joy of great doughnuts. Great coffee you CAN'T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS. Rosenberg's white pulled him aside. You were awfully tough on that man. I need to be Dunkin donuts. Success is based on attention to detail. We can't afford to get sloppy or lazy so the more successful. We become the more vigilant. Again and Rosenberg's vigilance is legendary from the very first store. He's made sure. The coffee is brewed in Small Tin Cup. Silex pots to preserve its freshness after eighteen minutes in the pot. The coffee is thrown away. It's expensive but Rosenberg doesn't care after the old coffee is toss beans freshly ground for the next. Batch is his way of assuring that customers receive uniform dependable experience. He knows that it's this insistence on excellence. That's made his fortune winter. Nineteen eighty to New York City. Howard Schultz is totally frustrated. Months have passed since he visited starbucks yet. He can't keep himself from calling Jerry Baldwin again and again Jerry. You've gotTa know that starbucks has tremendous potential. I'm sure of this is I've ever been of anything and I know I could play a huge role in helping you reach that potential. But we don't care about potential Howard for us. The company's mandate is to sell coffee beans and coffee makers and a few small stores. Don't you ever dream of making it something more? Well to tell you the truth. I sometimes wonder if we could expand a bit beyond Seattle. You could Jerry. That's a good dream finally in the spring of nineteen eighty two Baldwin invited Scholtz to join him in Gordon. Backer for dinner and San Francisco. Schultz is Giddy with anticipation before the dinner. Schultz is in his hotel room dressing in his best suit and a new shirt and tie he bought for the occasion. He's meeting the starbucks crew at Donatello's an upscale Italian restaurant he arrives early. There's a light rain falling. But he walks around the entire block to pump up his confidence as he walks he tells himself. I've waited my entire career for this dinner. He's already at the table when Baldwin and back arrive there dressed casually in sports jackets no ties Schultz wonders. If he's made a mistake with his formal attire then he thinks they're both older than I am. I'm dressed to show respect. But his main goal is to charm them. Once they're seated he launches into his pitch. You got a real jewel in starbucks in New York. When I served your coffee of my friends they love it. Why wouldn't people all over? America react the same way you can open stores throughout the United States and Canada. You could share your knowledge passion with so many people as Baldwin. Listen they're calm expressions? Don't change but by the end of the meal. Schulz's convinced he's won them over with his youthful enthusiasm and energy. He calls his wife get ready to move to Seattle. I'm about to be hired throughout the night shots tosses and turns. He's too excited to sleep at eleven. Am The next morning. His Hotel Room phone finally rings. It's Jerry Baldwin. I'm sorry Howard. We're just not going to hire you. What why not? It's too risky too much change Shen. Oh no shots thanks. My enthusiasm. Didn't impress them at SPOOK THEM. He paces the room. He has to do something to change their minds but what a few minutes later. He calls Baldwin Back Jerry. You're making a terrible mistake. The destiny of starbucks is at stake. I know that you know how great it can be. Baldwin is about to blurt another stronger version of no but then he catches himself. Schultz is wearing him down. What gets him? Most is shows his faith in starbucks. He asks himself. Does it make sense to turn away a person with so much conviction?.

"Every wildly successful company needs a visionary leader. Dunkin donuts had theirs in the smiling determined. Bill Rosenberg and now his son Bob. As of Nineteen eighty-one Dunkin donuts has been successful for more than three decades in part because they never faced major competition but Howard Schultz is about to descend on Seattle and once he does. Dunkin donuts will finally have a worthy rival. This is episode to Mission Espresso. Schultz arrives in Seattle an Autumn Day in one thousand nine hundred eighty one. The clean air is so sharp. It makes his lungs ache. He can't wait to get to the starbucks store it's located in Seattle's original farmers market the famous Pike Place Market. Schulz makes his way through the enormous market. He's never seen anything like it. He walked by a stall where freshly caught. Salmon is displayed on beds of ice. He takes in the delicious aroma baking bread. When he finally reaches the starbucks store he surprised by how small and UNASSUMING. It is a young violinist at the doors. Playing Mozart Schultz. Drop some change in his open case and enters the store deep. Fragrant scent of coffee beans practically overwhelms him. He gazes at the dozens of large bins full of beans behind the warn wooden counter. They're displayed on long shelves that reach up to the ceiling. There are beans from Kenya. Costa Rica in Madagascar beans from plantations on the Indonesian island of Sumatra in the center of the store Schultz sees a mysterious gleaming metal machine with a large tree in the front a cheerful man wearing a red bandanna is pulling a metal scoop from it. What does this machine do? This is the roaster. We roast the beans for a long time until the green coffee beans turn a deep brown. The man stands by the machine leaning toward it cupping his ear. Oh what are you listening for for the beans to pop twice? That's whether done Schultz shakes his head in disbelief for him. As for everyone else he knows coffee comes from a can not being. Those starbucks sells only beans. Customers are offered small samples brewed coffee. Schultz takes a steaming cup of Sumatra coffee. The intense aroma fills his nose. He takes a small SIP. Whoa is it too much more. You know it just prising. He takes another SIP now. The flavors are fully striking. You say this is Sumatra coffee folks like I could see why it's got body in packs a punch. I've never tasted anything with such a strong earthy flavor. Another thing that makes it so good is brewing it in those coffee makers we sell everyone who buys our beans also buys one of those. This is why the coffeemaker orders are so big Schultz realizes that all. The coffee's been drinking his whole life has been nothing but swell before. Schultz came to Seattle. He set up a meeting with the company's owners. Now he heads upstairs to introduce himself to the two men. Schultz can immediately see that. They're both at least ten years older than him. Jerry Baldwin is reserved informal. He Run starbucks full-time Gordon. Bowker is offbeat an artsy. He divides his time between the store and his advertising agency. Schultz is impressed that they're both so intelligent engaging well-traveled and they both have an undying passion for coffee. Baldwin opens a bag of beans straight from Java. He grabs them and Bruce. Two Cups in a French coffee. Press this job as a rich buttery brew. Smell that it's known for. Its delicate floral notes. In a sweet aroma. I had no idea there was so much variety in taste. And why is it so important to roast the beans dark that roast differentiate starbucks from everyone else the finest beans can withstand the heat the darker you roast them. The more flavor you get coffee is simple. Just watering ground beens but when you have the perfect means it's one of the world's special pleasures Schultz nods. He's envious of Baldwin's passion for the beans. It borders on and Schultz has to admit that although he likes his job. There's nothing magical about plastic products on the plane. Ride back to New York. He can't stop thinking about starbucks. He thinks maybe just maybe by the time the Plane Lands Howard. Schultz knows what he wants to do with his life. The next day he takes his mother to lunch in midtown. Manhattan Mom. You know. I haven't been completely satisfied lately. Well I have a new goal. I want to leave. New York moved to Seattle and become part of this great new coffee store. It's called starbucks. You're doing well you have a future. Don't give up everything you've achieved for a company. Nobody ever heard of but despite his mom's warning he can't get the idea out of his head a few weeks later on a cool and rainy Seattle morning. Jerry Baldwin is in the starbucks store unpacking a new shipment of Kenyan beans. The phone rings he size. He has a feeling WHO's calling. Is that kid from New York again. Hello Again Howard is the third time. Schultz is called this week. I don't mean to be a past. I'm just so sure I'd be a perfect addition to starbucks but we don't have a position for you. I'll do anything just to get my foot in the door. I understand Howard but my answer is.

"Poking on you know and their stance on this issue their stance on after the fives and I think that this is actually one of the more tense moments right because we do all work together and care about each other and you know stand with each other on some issues and then there are moments of disagreement right with with people that you usually feel like you're you're standing on the same side with right I I imagine I imagine that their their support of after thirty five is is challenging but well let me answer that because I love I'm you know both these people have been personal mentors to me I'm in their seat Marco can add this seat and then Jerry Baldwin so I'm you know I think the rapper that congressman Paul can't just put out a statement today raising questions I'm not I don't think he would say today that he is in strong support of this it didn't sound that from his statement I think he is hearing from people and I know him I know he's a thoughtful congressperson so helpful his stance previously has been teleport and I think people find that letter unfortunately yeah and I think there's a difference between saying I want more more information and saying I'm ready to pull the plug on right project right and it sounds to me like you and Emily are ready to pull the plug on this project yeah I will say might might want to pull the plug yeah and I'm like I think that makes you makes you position pretty differently than a lot of other folks in right insufficient leadership a million what is success look like for you what is it what does it look like two two reconciles style this issue what is truth and and reconcile reconciliation look for look like in terms of having accurate information having the communities were most impacted at the table and then affecting the outcome right so what is the outcome you're hoping for you're doing all this work you're traveling across the country you're spending time away from your like amazing Cato what do you hope that results in well I hope that are low Congress leaders in Congress will sit down with those who will be most impacted again and that's a listen right I think that Chris is yeah I mean Chris is a politician she's a great politician I think operating like most people operate when they have friends they disagree with in their area he is that they try to have a conversation to to come they'll bring things to light and and I and I appreciate that I presented a whole can and senator Baldwin has to come around on that's what success looks like to me is that they are more creative and more courageous about how they're going to bring economic an economic boost to their districts and we've heard from the airforce colonel I Greco who is in the field for thirty years and it's your job to know more about these weapons delivery systems in these weapons than anybody else in the world and she said that Madison to get a different mission a medical mission a mission that employs ten times more people bring ten times more of the economic impact and it actually used to rescue people and help people and so what I am hearing from the community that is most informed about this project in these airplanes and people who are finally got into affordable housing and don't want to leave is that they don't want this noise because it will harm no I think that its leaders across the spectrum of leadership in our communities in Madison I and congressional leaders could put aside any sort of notions of grand your about their personal legacy for bringing a defense contractor this city or bringing money in back trying to any model higher the machi I mean really spring money don't bring money anyway bring money the right way bring money in a way where you don't have to sacrifice people who you claim to support I think that ideal outcome for me is that people sit down and remember that we all are have burden bear some far greater by than others and we all have families we all have our health that we want to keep intact and that we can come to a conclusion here where everybody benefits and nobody is farms and that means a different mission the F. thirty five do not come here and by the way Ollie everywhere else they've been stationed aside from Burlington where they just arrive has been at least thirty to three hundred miles away from the capital city and then for that yes but that's that's one of the things I I was curious about in terms of success because you know if the environmental impact is significant here than the environment and mental impact is just isn't enough again right and so I I really what I really appreciate about your answer Millia was was that your answer wasn't after thirty five go somewhere else they your answer was we do something else and I think that that is the answer we don't get very often a lot of times were like either we do this or were missing out on these jobs in this opportunity right so if you want to join this conversation if you want to tell us what you think of F. thirty five you want to talk about the options or why you think it's a great a great thing to have a great way for us to invest whatever your opinion as we want to hear it so give us a call this is W. or TI eighty nine point nine I'm your host this is a public affair and you can reach us at six zero eight two five six two thousand one we're excited to hear from you all and have as much of the community involved in the conversation as possible and I honestly I have to say the vote for the folks who are are enthusiastic about F. thirty five I'm like your perspective would be it would be more than welcome to because I feel I struggle to represent that that perspective honestly so I I'm gonna ask Chris you know when you talk to people who think that this is a great idea who think we really need to do this you mentioned that the chamber of commerce a couple times you know what it what is it what are the things that are driving folks just say yes please say yes you have one F. thirty five yeah and I say that you know look I just have I have great respect for people Sir in the military my dad was a veteran so I don't come to this space set you know I with any kind of preconceived notions I have respect I have great respect but what we hear time and time again and this is frankly what they heard in Burlington Vermont the proponents arguments are very similar they're almost exactly the same is if we don't take these chats we potentially are gonna lose a flying mission at true acts and it's going to close and that's going to cost a lot of jobs and millions of dollars well the thing that's so frustrating about that argument is it's been disputed and refuted by the airforce the airforce is someone who makes the decision it's not the Air National Guard sought the chamber of commerce it's actually the Air Force and they have said look that's speculative it would require two or three assumptions at once and they have said there are other options for Truax besides F. thirty five so but it's it it just keeps going this argument and it's mainly perpetuated by the chamber of commerce well I think those and so I think maybe it's possible some of those folks want to represent their perspective themselves because we we let up a little bit right and I look at three people are pretty excited to talk about this one person who has it was multiple questions so David thank you so much for joining us on W. R. T. eighty nine point nine for a public affair how are you doing today well think Wharton thanks to you on the show just two brief comments one is that I agree with Chris and the others and we have to explore all options but the time might might come I hope it doesn't but it might come where if they cram this deployment down our throats in court challenges and lobbying and petitioning and trying to reason with the powers that be doesn't work then I think given the fact that you're gonna have tens of thousands of people severely impacted on the side of medicine I think is going to be of a lot of social base there from mobilizing people in mass nonviolent civil disobedience a year yeah if you are eighteen year out here organizing on the radio right now on the other end toward that end our mayor such a is celebrating her birthday on Sunday if he's having a public fund raiser birthday brunch at the old sugar distillery nine thirty one east main street and that's between eleven AM and one PM so some of us who are also active in just say skies coalition we're organizing a silent vigil we're going to be out there with their signs shot solemnly you know because it is a birthday party for her and so we're not going to be real a lot of nasty about it but we're going to be out there to let her know and our message is sent you is going to be Happy Birthday site yeah best wishes to you and for the rest of us no F. thirty five so I would urge everybody to see she was like a very wholesome you know party crasher variety of pro testing and I I have to you know appreciate the that David thank you so much for making our listeners aware of of that opportunity to express your opinion non violently and peacefully and thank you also for bringing our our mayor into the conversation mirror site tia who has who has taken some some serious heat around around her stance or lack of stance in terms of of after thirty five a million would you would you kind of speak to your your position on that because for me I have struggled to a certain extent with who all were interested in criticizing and blaming for F. thirty five who really has the power to do something about it and who is virtue signalling and and pretending to have the power to do something about it in order to it to play nice with everybody on the S. mass and so a meal yeah what it what are your your thoughts on on site T. as lack of of vocal mess around F. thirty fives I think it is synonymous with everybody else who is a leadership position in that city that normally advocates for those most vulnerable novel in our community but it's taking us stock stance on this because of the potential that the idea that they could gain from it politically or financially and that is just my I am coming back when it is I can't imagine it could be anything else well I know is no kind of quite in my opinion isn't it quite possible that such a isn't trying to address pollution at the federal level via our military because she is trying to you know make significant changes to our police she is trying to make significant changes to our public transportation she is you know literally lit legitimately trying to do her job and and okay focusing on online yeah you know what I have I have often out issue taken really bold steps that I very much appreciate and that many of us the working towards for six years but we're not in a position of power to bring those sports news she she had taken significantly bold steps that I very much appreciate however I it is my understanding that that you did not set out to be a career politician who needs to give and take it in such a way where.

"That's not playing for some reason and out here and let's say the another let's try this again I don't know whether the White House isn't directly involved because we can't get an answer that question but we do know that they are making some claim that a privilege may apply well that narrows the category who may be intervening here and in typical government fashion rob because they don't know what's going on what are they going to do next week we'll have an open hearing with the director of national intelligence where he can explain to the country why he believes the surgeon concern should not be shared with the Congress because the one thing the American people never get is a hearing. so we're gonna be hearing the good for ratings yeah right so is is that we have here and look how that turned out for them so so now we don't know the president says it's fake news he said today he would never do anything inappropriate on a call with a foreign leader now wash PO did some digging robin they said this complaint was filed August twelfth in the president at was at his golf resort New Jersey the White House records indicate he had conversations with at least five foreign leaders and preceding weeks including Russian president Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong moon of North Korea. legal experts are raising the argument that while the presence communications with foreign leaders could raise concerns from intelligence officials he also has broad authority to decide what's classified and what isn't. so so somebody heard something that might be from the president with a foreign leader that might have been promising things any legally can't do and we should have a hearing about it exactly but you gotta understand that think and feel free to weigh in three one two five nine one eighty nine hundred on this entire story that a lot of reporters are running around trying to figure out what happened and they want to prove this is not fake news and we still don't know what it is but maybe Jerry Baldwin has more information Capitol Hill so we're gonna be talking to him next for now I'll send is copper news.

"But then also to you know, so that guy was fortunate that he was able to start his coffee company in that area where it's kinda cold. It's always wet. It's always kinda like down and people probably need coffee to hype themselves up. They don't have a normal circadian rhythm. Yeah. I mean, how weird is that to think about, but that's. That's that all plays into it. And so, yeah, he's lucky, but man, what a pan the dick. It must have been to start up. Starbucks. It must have been really hard. I mean, he did get a little help from number two who does number two work for. Well, she invested in Starbucks early on. Yeah. That's huge. I'm pretty sure that help you know, kind of boost everything and get it out to the masses hail yet. But he wouldn't have been able to get help from number two. If he didn't put in the work. You gotta put it out. You got to put an at work. We gotta have that grind talking about Austin Powis. You know, and then also another famous person from that area guy by the name of Bill Gates. I think Bill Gates grew up in Florida. I could be wrong could be pulling some of this out of my ass. But I know that the next statement is leased correct. Bill Gates happened to go to a school at a really young age eleven twelve thirteen somewhere in that age category. He happened to go to one of the few schools that had computers. So you start to think about that. It's like. You know, holy shit. What would happen if Bill Gates? Would have Bill Gates didn't have a computer when he was twelve you know. Yeah. And maybe all this great stuff that he created. Maybe it would've never happened. Or maybe it would have been prolonged or like, you know, who even knows. Anyway, I've been playing around some ideas, something I wanted to do I took a picture today at the first Starbucks ever. I was thinking about maybe we maybe about weekly or maybe every other week or so posting something up about, you know, an entrepreneur that I look up to because I do get people ask me like, well, who motivates you or who inspires you? I'll look these people up sometimes I'll look up like Benjamin Franklin or Albert Einstein. We're all here. Some somebody will say something here on TV or hear it on another podcast. And they'll say, oh, yeah. That's like so-and-so's theory. And I'll be like, oh who's that? Who's who's who's who's theory? Who's got a theory about some? I mean, look the shit up. You know? And I'll look it up and 'cause I never went to school. So it's like I now that's what I'm doing nowadays. Like, I'm taking myself to school. But I was thinking about sharing that on my Instagram with people and saying like, you know. You know, here's you know, this week. It's I was at the first Starbucks, and it spire me to look up information on. I forget the dude who started it, but inspired me to you know, investigate him. And I wanted to share all this. I think it's Mike something I want. I wanted to share all this information with you guys. And hopefully, this spark something in you to get you hyped up. Oh, man. I have a couple of different name, all I'm sure. Jer Jerry Baldwin. No, wait. I think it's Eric Badran Eric fired when somebody on here's probably answering already for us.
