"All right, my next team, the Chicago Blackhawks. He gave some stats. I'll give you some stats. That's on this. I'll give you some stats and then I'll open the floor to CJ. O 5 and one -15 gold differential outscore 22 to 5 at 5 one 5, which is somehow even worse than Arizona coyotes, we've played 362 minutes so far. They've trailed for 270 of them and have yet to hold a lead, which I believe is an NHL record to start a season. Here's how they've started their game so far in terms of how much time has passed before allowing the first goal four 26, 17 seconds, 15 seconds. 24 minutes against the islanders, and then 6 and a half and 5 40. So yeah, it's been bleak. It's a bit about as catastrophic or start the season as you can, especially for a team that made a lot of moves to try and expedite the process and be much better than they've been in the past few years. And there's a lot of obviously things to unpack here and how to look at this start for them. But I'm really curious in terms of figuring out how to portion the blame and sort of what's the root of the cause of it and how they address and moving forward because obviously this is about as bad of a start as you can have. Well, don't they just have a talent issue? You know, like, fundamentally, I think I understood on some level what they're doing in the off season, but, you know, I think that the people that looked at those moves and were like, all right, this team's now ready to compete for the playoff spot. I didn't quite understand that reasoning. You know, they've got a couple high end players still, but there's just not enough there. And so, I mean, if we're assigning blame, it goes to the front office, right? And, you know, I understand that Jeremy Carlton is understandably under some heat here. But, you know, they could have fired him in the off season if they had those issues with him. I think you have to go right to the top with this one..

"For us it was a pretty good breakout We just get in the zone Stop there put it on matchstick and he gave it to me and I didn't really think about anything else I was just trying to shoot it and went and so really happy about that but I think right now for actually this game it was a lot of special teams So I think PK get it pretty good job too and we score in a power place So that's got to keep going Keep doing the next game too Dominic Kublai K was right the Blackhawks went four for four on the penalty kill tonight they scored their first power play goal in the first period towards the final few minutes and the guy you just heard from scored that goal his first of the year something that Jeremy Carlton talked about during pre season is you know that first power play unit again It's a new makeup now with Seth Jones kind of quarterbacking Jonathan taves Patrick Kane Alex to bring it in Tyler Johnson You got a lot of good skill set and Dominic Cooper league not to mention how fast his slap shot is but he talked about Jeremy Collins did that is talked about how he and Patrick Kane can kind of provide that same role in the power play So it's better to have them separated so you have that explosive shot and you have that opportunity from the top of the right circle and that totally proved to be productive for the locks tonight is again was able to score while hawk's first goal of the season on their 5th shot on goal of the night with the hawks do fall of the Colorado avalanche tonight for two We've still got more to get to Let's go to another break You're listening to.

"Troy. It's not a full house, but I don't know what the percentages but they're They're pretty much filling the building with some space and social distancing in between, and national anthem time in a couple minutes, it's going to sound like we got a full bar, so let's get to some items of business before the anthem, starting with the injury report. Sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. The card to carry through it all. Add to the list Duncan Keith and Brett Conley out for the season concussion protocol, and we wish those two gentlemen all the best. In the speedy recovery, along with Adam, both quest wrist surgery done for the season Calvin to Han Day today with the hip problem. He has been practicing Ryan Carpenter concussion protocol as well. He is out and Kirby Doc. Aggravations of scar tissue from surgery done for the season for the rest of them. Jonathan Tape Alex Knee lander, Zach Smith. Brent Seabrook and Andrew Shaw, all on long term injured reserve. We wish everybody the best of health and get back into the line up this soon as possible. Those of you that can now time for tonight's keys to the game sponsored by Bud Light. Detroit right over there in front of you. There's a bud light there. I wish there was but there is not a piece of the game. First one play with fried. Give it everything you've got. I mean, this is a You are amazing opportunity for some of these young kids to play the last couple of games in front of fans, and I think you can get off to a good start in this one. Dallas was eliminated last night, so all their hopes and everything coming into this set a game against the Hawks have kind of gone to the side as far as getting a playoff opportunity. That's not gonna happen. So play with pride and play with heart and gumption here. Second key is work on the defensive structures. One thing Jeremy Carlton is harping on to finish off the season strong. The third key is pucks and bodies. Let's fill the net tonight. How about that? I'm well, right there with you. The Blackhawks in the Dallas Stars. I'm gonna shut up for just a second. Yeah, that's real fan noise, folks. They've been piping it in for a while now up until today, and it's just so great to hear the fans and see him back in this building. Man does my heart good black ops in the Dallas Stars In the first of two games to end this regular season, Troy talked about it. The Stars were eliminated from playoff contention last night. It would probably be pretty tough to have to sit there and watch the game on TV and know that your fate is sealed that you are not gonna make the playoffs and I'm sure that was the emotion felt like All of the Stars players and be very interesting to see how they play here this afternoon. But they're professionals. We.

"That that just shows everybody that. Hey, I'm buying into this a swell. Let's go guys, let's let's have some fun that Zoe got a ton of bricks to fit in here before 11 o'clock. But Jeremy is now meeting with reporters VIAS and Let's get some of that game for two periods that were really good, and you know, obviously pretty good overtime. First question will come from Charlie Romilly Otis from NBC. Sports. Charlie, You're Mike's acts of Go ahead. Jeremy in years past. Obviously, this team was very high risk high reward, but it seems like this year you guys can win those 21 games. How nice is that going into a game where you can win the defense of games or the offensive games? Yeah, well, we're trying to Get it. Have the hockey together that we can win. Sustainably. We gotta feel like we have a chance to win every night on You know where what? We love scoring goals, no doubt about that. But you know, we gotta you gotta keep it under your net. If you want to have any tape up consistent success on and I feel like we're doing now we gotta Yeah. Say the same things but Work ethic and commitment to doing little things and It's so long, more fun went so happy, really happy with how we Ride it through this game. Then how big were those three caves in the first two minutes of the second period there to keep it at one all? Yeah, we weren't very good for that little stretch. No. You two chances. One short handed in the one with that comes out of the box. So, you know, important moment and That's what a team that sort of team does he pick each other up and And like, just like, tell me about Go to Ben Pope with the Chicago Sun Times, then your mike is active. Go ahead. Germany and I have four rookies, including Lincoln and on the ice for the OT goal. Just what was that sort of say about this team in the impact? The young guys are making well, they're getting better there. Building confidence and Work or building confidence in them. They understand. Key moments in the game, and we gotta play and, you know way need them to be able to step forward and Do those things and you know it's a couple of real be place to get excellent back. Tricked by Menschel strong, strong battle strong on the puck by Hagel. He skates 200 ft with the on his back. You know, very intelligent, play toe kind of free up suitor, and then you know, it's a Very skilled, very skilled player to score. So you know, obviously likes is part of that. He's made a lot of big saves tonight. That zip unwashed. On then, did you talkto PS after the first period? It seemed like I was a little rough for him. And how impressed for you with how he responded as the game went on. Yeah, just, uh What's the one play a couple turnovers and Ends up in the back of that That's gonna happen sometimes, But the important thing is is more so how we responded. I thought it was really good after that, and No. So it's Cirque. Sure, nice to see him come through with a big goal. Go to Phil Thompson with Chicago Tribune failure. Mike is active. Go ahead. Jeremy kind of following but then question Do you feel like You know a situations like us suitors turn over there. He just kind of mentally brushed it off that it didn't get to him. Yeah, well, you found a way to you know him. You know that a scandal what he felt and You always want to. You want to get back to it, But it's important not to let it affect your next shift. And, uh, I thought, you know, Z the way played the rest of game was, uh Excellent, So a lot of mental toughness from him and Specially. She's played the main games yet so for him to do that, and be a big part of Fisk and you know It gets a hard, hard building her team. It went against and he's a big part of it. You mentioned the big states by Lincoln and another case where he faced some solar breakaways like curry on off coming out of the penalty box. How big was that? Little ended up on duh. Lot of sustained the game. Jeremy Carlton. Hey, continues with reporters down in Dallas. We're going toe slip out right now. Because again, we have a bunch of squeeze in before 11 o'clock, But choice and final thoughts. Yeah, I look at the score sheet here. Another 21 game. Six Black Hawks made the score sheet that includes Let's see four rookies, a guy in his second year and the new guy in Matea CN Market. It's just fascinating to see this this Whole parade. This this whole pot roast coming together and finding different guys to contribute night in and night out. Even though your stars of the guys who are the ones who are relied upon and carrying the load, it's fun to watch. It's fun to watch the energy and I love the way that Jeremy is handling these young guys. Suitor knows he made a mistake and before the popcorn and then that I think I said, you know, they turned the park over there, and they made some sloppy place and they were turning some park over. Is there park management wasn't great. But he got suitor right back out there. If you make a mistake as a player, you know you've made a mistake. I mean, nobody has to tell you, but how you reinforce it, and how you respond from that situation is how This team is gonna build on itself within itself Within that group inside the locker room. I think there is a lot of belief that Hey, we didn't play our best game, but we got great goaltending. Thank you, Kevin Lincoln and And then let's just move on here. Let's try and figure out a way to be better, and they're fighting ways and different ways. Toe win these things and Jeremy Collinson. Reinforced, you know his hunch to get Hagel out there because he's a competitor. He's gonna battle and he talked about going to 100 ft with a guy on his back, and that was Pavelski. Oh, they're one of the best guys in the NHL in the one on one battles and And Hagel's just getting it done, and he's he's not a fancy player. He's a you know, meat and potatoes type of guy and and that's how they're getting the job done. Everybody's as we've talked about buying into what they need to do here. The key is as you move forward the goaltending, But the more that you play a better style and a team style. You're going to take pressure off your goaltender on a more regular basis. Allow him to just kind of feel a little bit more comfortable in there, not under siege with all kinds of shots coming at you with all kinds of, you know, pressure. And and they've done that. They've handled that They have done an excellent job in finding ways to manufacture points when they haven't been at their best, and when they have been at their best, they've been good. It's a It's a good kind of buzz. And you know every every time we sign off here at every post game show. You're looking even more forwards a couple days. Whatever they play again in the back of the United Center on Thursday, you know, you know what the bad thing is there? I know we gotta move it along quickly. It is, I think the fans of the United Center what would love to see this team play in person because it zah team that's not going to quit. You know what? It's a hard nosed team. It's not a big team, but it's a very competitive team is a relentless team that the way that they're playing, and I think, you know, even coming after this game. I think you walked back into the United Center. If there are fans in there and you would get it unbelievable response. That's just too bad. But anyway, we get you we get to enjoy this team. However, however, away we are able to and even though the fans aren't there, I'm sure they're getting a kick out. I would I would love to be able to walk into the locker room and talk to these guys in purses it and see the smile on their face and talk to them. And then got a sense of what's going on, baby. Yes, but you know, it would be fun for us, for our sake. At least. Okay, Thanks. Thanks, Chris. I'm speaking for myself, so great job is always looked for. To see any on Thursdays. We check out this club again against Columbus. Great job tonight..

"Off their season last night with a victory with Brian Hanley. I am Pat Boyle coming to you from the first Midwest Bank studios. Brian. We got ourselves a hockey team to talk about. How about that? Patrick, who saw this coming? Can they get a point for practice today to keep the streak alive? They're going to try. They're going to try. Be honest. When the Blackhawks started this season owing three And we're out scored 15 to 5 and those losses. You thought this train was off the tracks, and this season was going to be ugly, right? Oh, beyond that. I mean, I thought, you know, the pointed for the goal differential was going to be one for the record books. Even you know, losing five before in that fourth game, they still had five goals, but in very short order, they found a goaltender. And so that you know the rotating three for the auditions. Auditions ended. And then the power play's been unbelievable. And boy, I don't know. Are they getting paid by the hour over there? Obviously, like over time. There's like over time and shoot out. They're not playing the pain. The broadcasters by by how long the games go, But you're right. I mean, in the last 3.5 weeks, they've Registered at least a point in eight of nine games. As you said, it looks like they have a legitimate starting goalie Rookies who you barely knew their names Curse chef suitor. Lincoln in Hagel. Maybe Mitchell. You've seen their talent on display already. You talked about that power play. They've scored a power play goal in 10 of 12 games. PK has been very solid. Most importantly, you seen a young team buy into their coach's message. Be harder to play against be resilient. Be relentless. His team again. We said it last week, Brian They need to outwork you because they're no longer going toe out skill you unless it's 88 on the ice. Right? I think we lost Brian. No, it's speechless. Another, It's instinct is to break it said they knew they had better. Even after the start of the season. I'm not sure I knew they had better because it looked like this was gonna be a very long slog, even in a short season. Um, you know the message Jeremy Carlton is instilled in this team. I don't know, because maybe it's ah, younger team that it's Ah, message that's easier, sold or bought into Patrick Kane's body into it, So once you're best guy buys into it, it's easier for the rest of guys in the room to follow. But is it time to its old premature for me? Because I'm not sure. What kind of coach Germany Contin is in the now It's It's seems like he's Ah, good coach for this team, but I saw Billy Donovan a couple weeks ago look like he had the team going in the right direction. And now they're going in the wrong direction. So it's just maybe it's too soon to tell. But I know a lot of people were not too sold on college and getting an extension before the season and we'll talk to Stan Bowman about that decision when we visit with him. In just a little bit here. He's going to join us here on the hockey show. So do we. All Jeremy College Tin Ah, good amount of praise for righting the ship that was thinking rather quickly in the first two weeks. Well, I think we do. And I guess it really doesn't matter what I think the players think he does. And the buy in from the core. Is paramount like when they had that zoom session when Stan Bowman and Jeremy Collinson had the zoom session with cane tape's Keith and Seabrook. And Danny words. After Tapes when it public in the athletic that I was unaware of this, this rebuild I I didn't see this coming and that we weren't going to re sign Crawford. So they had a zoo meeting kind of clear the air to tell those four Direction this team was taking and what the plan was, and it was a given take conversation. And so here's Patrick Kane the other night. After a Gain that like when you're up 3 to 1, and it's you're going to the second period. You're in a pretty good spot, and then Carolina scores two quick goals in eight seconds and it's 33. I was like, Well, this is where a young team Could could absolutely fall off the rails. They fought back, fought back and they get they get the win. Here's Patrick Kane on Culture that Jeremy Collinson is setting with this young team. To be honest, these guys play so hard. I mean it Z really great, I think. Jeremy's setting the culture here where you know he wants the hard work and he wants guys skating heard and Eyes, winning battles. So, um You know, I think a lot of a lot of these guys do that so well. Something I can get better at two. So, um You know, it's ah, especially lately. It's been a fun group. You know, we've been pretty much in every game and Battle in hanging around whether it's good goaltender her timely scoring or just, you know, um, trying to figure out our game and now it's like, okay, we're in these games. Let's figure out how to win him. And tonight was ah, good example where Playing a great team. You know you're up, 31 They come back, make it 33 pretty quick. And we hung in there and found a way to win the game so that Z It's a kind of stuff you like to see, especially this season and For the 1st 12 games or 44 and four then get a lot of points lately, so I think we can continue this on and Try to keep winning games and hopefully keep making a push here..

As they beat their central division rivals by a pair of 3 to 1, the dulcet tones and Johnny Weida been last night at the United States. The Blackhawks kept off 31 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Welcome back to Blackhawks Live Presented by Chevy Dr Chicago dot com. Drive. What cane and tape drive along with Nick is Monty. I'm Chris Boat is our pleasure now to bring in the head coach of the Blackhawks in his third season. Jeremy Carlton, Jeremy, Thanks for doing this on an off night at home, when, when family time I know is During the season is so valuable. I almost hate to ask this one when coaches just drive for the goal is first place. The goal is lifting a Stanley Cup. Over your head, rather than 34 and three records through 10 games, But it seems like this team has come a ways since that trip to Florida and well, I know there's still lots of work to do. You're going to tell us that What's been most encouraging to you over the past couple of weeks. Yeah, You're You're right. We're not satisfied with where we're at. But We get to where we want to be is getting better every day, and I think we've We've had a lot of good days in a row where we're improving, and I think that's that's probably the thing that's most encouraging is that we're trending in the right direction, and we got a lot of young guys who have Seize the opportunity to play and contribute and I like the work ethic of our team, and you know, especially Basically, since we got back from the road, we've been really competitive. And of course, we want to put more points on the board. But how we get there is by Playing hard and doing a lot of little things, right? Coach. I get up. I gotta pump your tires, and I know that's that's not a surprise. People will, you know, know that I'm the positive guy. But you know for me, you being a great communicator, I think put you in a great spot with this group this year because you do have so many guys. That are sort of Swiss army, right? They're adapting. They're coming in and out of the lineup. They're they're They're playing wing. They're playing center. You know, you've got to. You've got a mixed bag a little bit, but because you are that communicator. Does. It doesn't allow you to? Maybe You know, sort of drive your message across a little bit better with this group because they're a little bit more Moldable. Well, e think it's I don't Communicator. It feels like it's a label. Kind of. I mean to me. I'm just being myself. Um, I think it's Players want Can you help me? Can you help me? Play better? Can you help? You know how can we went? What's the plan? Um, you know, how can I play more? How can I How can I help the team win and the coaching staff? That's our job is to deliver that message and help him out and You know whether this year you're before the year after like, that's the job, and I think that's That's the part that's rewarding when you know, hopefully we can But these guys and get situations and then help them improve, and then they're going to get what they want, which you know, depending on where they are in their career, But Um, you know, right this year we got a bunch of guys who are trying to find their way in the league and how can they contributed our level and how can they help us Win and It's fun with spin a fun group. So far, they've work ethics and really good. They practiced hard. They've taken feedback and responded. Um, and that's how we're going to get to where we're going. I wanted to have a little bit deeper into that because you are getting the sea for various reasons How a lot of young players react. Take steps forward, Take steps backward. When you and your staff critique them being positively or negatively did they usually know what's coming and see the same things? Or are they often for lack of a of a better word oblivious. And if that's the case does that make teaching and coaching? Easier or more difficult, depending on how they see things with that you guys were saying Yeah, that's that's kind of a journey that you want to be on is so that you know, the more you work with a guy and the more he develops and Being Ah, being able to evaluate your own play is that's a that's a real big outset. And typically when you're young, and you're learning kind of what it takes that you know, maybe a lower level they really asked. You just score. You know it is produced. And everything will work out in the higher your goal that becomes not enough, you know, so Being able to watch someone's transformation so that you know, after a game you know you come out from when you say Hey, Hey, I got a couple of clips story and then like, Yeah, I know I don't You can show me like that to me that that shows that you're You're going in the right direction, and then they start coaching themselves..

"When when you're out there, it's like nothing happens. The one thing that I'm loving seeing, And this is what I talked about when the when the power play was not being successful is the motion and I, actually, honestly I was watching Columbus's powerfully. And they got stagnant on the half ports. And it's it's an easy kill. But when you saw Patrick Kane one side of the ice to the other, the movement between Duncan Keith, you know, setting up Kubelik. You've got some good motion down low with Sean Strom. Moving in from the front of the net. Harry ordered another slot from the middle of the ice to the side of the ice to be available. Lots of good movement and that's what you need, and it was not a buzzkill. They had lots of opportunities in the first power play. They had five chances and they were really good. Unfortunately, they didn't score. But you're not going to be too disappointed because sometimes you're just not going to score. But it's the processes as you look forward to how you need to play to be successful in the long run, and right now you're seeing some really good moment at movement, and I think that the guys out there and especially, you know you have to focus on Patrick Kane. I think he's kind of excited. What's going on. If people feel that he's excited about what's going on here, said I liked the options. You know, Alex to break its Not there. Well, we got some different hands in there, and we're having some different looks that I You know for for for a team that comes into this season, where there's a lot of people looking and pointing fingers, I think they've done an excellent job to be where they are right now, and they're being very competitive and they're putting themselves in a position that they could concern Selves in tow. A postseason berth, You know, but let's take a quick break here in the postgame show. We're waiting for Jeremy Carlton to speak with the general media. "I'm gonna snap one top shelf hearts come through the power play to cut the lead in half. It's the Hall of Famer Pat fully on the call on NBC Sports Chicago Last night. He will join us in about 15 minutes here. The hockey show on ESPN 1000 Brian Hanley. I am Pat Boyle. That was Dylan Strom's third goal of the campaign, the on Lee tally from the Blackhawks last night. Strom also was a 10 of 16 at the faceoff dot the fourth time this season. He's 1 60% orm or off his draws, So he's off to a good start it and we were talking about finding guys that can be finishers on this team. Strong's gold last night was definitely a type of play that a finisher makes and They're asking him to step up in class here. You know, I think he was penciled in to be the third line center. With Dave's out with Doc out. He's been your your second line center with courage, Chef and Kuba leak and so far coming off the contract extension, Brian he's been fantastic. Yeah. And look if you come away without a goal in that situation on the man advantage after Kubelik had those two great opportunities. I mean, that's demoralizing, and you mentioned the face off. You know what he's doing on the dot and, you know Jonathan tapes Unsung part of his game or certainly, box fans are aware of it. But when he's on his game, you got to get the puck from the draw. Right ordered tea generate anything. So with tapes out for who knows how long you don't need guys like strong? Not not only to bury parks when you get an opportunity, but get the park and keep it in the zone, you know, Start anything you're gonna generate offense or even on a power play. So Dylan is going through some changes here. Let's just say that he's only 23 years of age right before he left for the bubble and badminton. He and his girlfriend, Taylor found out that she was pregnant. She is due in March. They're gonna have a baby girl. He is going to turn 24 in March. He just got that contract extension. I mean, this. This guy's going through a lot, You know, right here. What We also know he's like best friends with Alex to break it. And so yesterday I caught up with strong. I asked him, you know. Is he talking to Alex a lot? And how is to break it? Feeling of courses on covert 19 protocol list? Talked him a lot. Um Hopefully, it's not as long as they originally thought. So hopefully I'll see him soon. And, um, no, it's zoo. Never ideal. I mean, um, no, it's kind of the world we live in today. You know, it's It's weird how you know some guys can get it in some guy's, um, another rest of team is okay. It's Z. Just weird. It Zez really make sense. I don't think it makes sense to anyone but the reality we're living in and it sucks. And we wish it was fair ends here and everything. And just try to get through a day by day and Look for the next team. I thought the one thing he said there. That was interesting. Brian was hopefully he won't be out as long as originally thought. You know, again, we're reading into this. This is a lot of this is, uh You know things that are kept private because of HIPPA laws and covert 19 protocol. But it sounds like you know, maybe to break it might be back, maybe a little bit sooner than that. Two weeks that we originally heard. Yeah, well, the insidious part of this pandemic and this virus is it runs spectrum right from asymptomatic, too mild symptoms to I C U and worse so It's it's you know, it sounds like like he said. If you're reading between the lines there, that may be mild symptoms or no symptoms. Who knows? But, um, the good news is that there doesn't appear to be an outbreak. Right. Right s o that. That's what? You're not gonna be missing games here. Off the schedule, so good thing, they caught it, and hopefully he is going through the protocols and getting whatever you know, medical help he needs if he needs it to get through this thing. Yeah, and you, You know, so you've got wall Mark. You've got to bring kit and you've got both quest right now on that covert 19 protocol list and originally the Hawks, said Bo Quist. And the brink. It would be out for two weeks. We're still holding out hope that tape's will be back at some point again. We talked about it last week. We're not going to be in the The business of story in history of speculating is stirring up the rumors, but we we are holding out hope that tape's will be back at some point that this team needs Needs guys to help them scoring certainly five on five and so you know, it was going to be tough at the start of this season. Even if Doc and saves were available. Take those two out of the equation. Take to bring it out. Now. Take wall Mark out. Take Uh, me Lander out of the equation. I mean, it's next guy up words starting tol too. Pretty deep on that death trap. Ryan. Yeah, but you are seeing some guys emerge or guys you want to see more off. So that's good news to you know the suitors and Nick Nick Voting also in is gonna be a guy that you know you want to take a look at a little bit here and Jeremy Carlton has been talking up. His training camp. Certainly, and now, if he's going to get an opportunity here, with both fists out, we'll see. But no one had the Hawks pencil dinner intent as a playoff team..

"Your ditch which Midwest player of the game to Patrick in another 27 minute performance from him, six shots on goal and four attempts blocked was if you look at him last two games ago, no shot attempts in that game against Nashville. And that doesn't happen with Patrick Kane. No shot attempts, and he just He didn't have it that game. And he was the first one to admit it. So you look at 13 shot attempts last game 10 in this one very active. Let's hear from Jeremy Carlton is he addresses the media? Actually, Jeremy, If you want to start with a quick statement, you go ahead. Sure, um, Overall, we played a pretty solid game. They're a good team. They work hard. They may care and what you get and you know, obviously it's tough to come from behind against a team like that, and they got really good goaltending. But I thought we we did a lot of good things, and we created more than enough to score. More than one goal. And, you know, I thought we were fairly solid defensively so By no means a re satisfied and we expect to get better and we'll keep at it tomorrow with practice and continue to improve, but think we continue to move in the right direction. Maybe some technical issues assumes we see Jeremy. Respond to a question. I think they're trying to get some reporters questions that you know, my right hand E didn't get a response. So we're up here on the seventh floor, so that that means okay. That may be a problem, but I think he recapped generally what you've been talking about, as he continues to wait, What's what's going on with the zoom call here, But the way they played the game, much of that game that Z you good enough to win this game. They had the chances they played. Well, defensively. You look at his Demeanor right now, and you can't see it, but we can see him on the screen. Here is demeanor from the national first game to where it is now both losses but a completely different feeling of how you lost the game. And that's that's the important part and Jeremy talks about Process as you move forward here, and that Zeke Riddle called critical part of it. You can see progression, and it's heading in the right direction. So we'll we'll take this game. What it was that they didn't get it. The results that they were looking for, but the way that they played the game, they will get results for how they played. And still there. There is a little sense of of getting back on track or when you come back here on Sunday. Mean so many of these teams in these back to back situations very rarely, unless it's unless it's um it's mismatch. You're finding teams win back to back a back to back in these situations where they're playing the same team in the same city. This reset button tomorrow is gonna be gonna be pretty important here in terms of just hanging with, you know, Columbus is up there in 11 points. The Blackhawks are at seven. It's it's about growing and competing this season. But if you want to stay in the hunt in the middle of things, especially with the likes of Florida and Dallas in this division pretty much taking care of business. With the games they've been able to play. It'll be pretty important. We'll circle back to that on once Jeremy has done if he is going to hear questions and provide answers, like, uh, See if we got something going on Sumas. He's Looking around to see if the technical difficulties are All squared away. It's putting up with you. We're hearing anything. One of the critical things that is gonna happen to is the extra point There seems to be a lot of the extra points being passed around in there all within the division, so they're all gonna count. I think that at the end of the season Lot of the standings they're going to be. You're going to see some separation from the top teams on then you're going to see a clump of teams fighting for playoff spots underneath that elite group of team and I think in this in this division, I don't think there's any any after after Tampa Bay, Dallas, I don't know if there's necessarily any clear cut. Teams. I mean, Florida has looked good so far. Well, Carolina's OK, Latu interesting team, but you wonder how they they certainly reacted well. Last night after having what nine consecutive days off due to covert. They host Tampa Bay and they win it one nothing in overtime. So that's another on the back end of this home, standing another very structured. Team that the Blackhawks we're gonna have to be able to contend with kind of like Columbus is, too. If you look at Carolina, I mean, it's a team that you don't really think a whole lot about. It's not a team that has a great rivalry with anybody you know, in the Western Conference, you only play him once and you know the building is has now got some atmosphere in it because the team is Vince's successful but at the same time You just don't have a great rivalry with them. You probably will develop the rivalry much more than you've seen in the past. But there's solid team and and I think that they know that they're good, but I'm not 100% sold on them. They haven't been a team that has gotten over that hump. Yet. Dallas, you know, took a big stride last year. Third time's the charm. Let's He's trying to see if Jeremy is able to hear reporters questions now. That's the aliens that I hear night in my sleep. Shooting.

"Welcome back to the Fanjuls Sports Book. Chicago Blackhawks pregame show Chris Boden with you as we continue getting set for the rematch between the Black Hawks and the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena in Music City, who My banking on is sponsored by Marquette Bank, Love your Bank, Wake up to a better way to bank with Marquette Bank and Fun rewards. I'm gonna bank on Patrick Kane tonight. He was electric over the weekend. In those two wins over Detroit. They had himself a down night last night for whatever reason, zero shots on goal and he knows it. Usually he is very much aware of those kind of nights where he has a quiet one per se, and he was also on the ice for the game winning goal. But I expected Patrick Kane to come out and play large here tonight in the rematch against the Nashville Predators. Some other Blackhawks News Little bit earlier on. We already knew that Adam broke. Listen, Alex to break it. We're in covert 19 protocol. The Hawks have added Lucas WalMart to that list as well and once again the definitions of those as determined by the NHL, sharing the names of players unavailable to the club to practice to travel or playing games, and such protocol related absences can result from a number of factors, including among others, and initial positive test, which remains unconfirmed until confirmatory testing is complete pursuant to positive Test protocol also mandated isolation for symptomatic individuals pursuing two positive test protocol required quarantine as a high risk close contact in accordance to their protocol. Also, another option could be isolation based on a confirmed positive test result. And our quarantine for travel. Or other reasons again as outlined in covert 19 protocol. None of those further details are given. All we know is that Wal Mart joins the brink it and bow qu'est in that cove. It 19 protocols. Some other news today. The Rockford Icehogs opened training camp just a couple of days ago, and they had themselves an exhibition today against the Chicago Wolves. Over in Hoffman Estates. Chad Chris opened the scoring on the power play goal early, but that's all the scoring that happened for them as they ended up losing to the wolves by a final count of 6 to 1, Scotty Darling, who is getting a player tryout contract. With the wolves are rather with the ice dogs who are kind of beaten up at the goaltending position. Hey, started out made six made 16 saves on 17 shots. But then the wolves variable open things up against Kill Morris, the former Notre Dame ER, who allowed five goals on 25 shots, some other NHL news today. Rather surprising news out of Pittsburgh that 71 year old general manager Jim Rutherford decided to resign for personal reasons. No other reasons given other than it is not health related. He took over that job back in 2014 and helped lead the Penguins to the Stanley Cups in 16 and 17. So Jim Rutherford is out, and his assistant GM Patrick L. Wien, will take over some. There's only one other game in the NHL Tonight. Now is a rematch between Ottawa and Vancouver. They played a couple of days. It's a go in the Canucks getting a much needed victory over the struggling sense. 7 to 1 was the final score on money that only improved the connection record 23 and five auto a meantime, drops to 14 and one is we get to the back to this game between the Blackhawks in the national Predators. Hawks, looking to score for a a straight game out of the gate on the power play right now seven in a row to start a season is second all time. To the 11 consecutive games back in the 90 91 season ox power play now nine for 21. They also killed off all four penalties called against them last night, although I'm sure Jeremy Carlton still wants that number to go down after Five trips to the box in the victories both Friday and Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings. Meantime, that Predators penalty kill is now just 12 for 22 on the season, so the Hawks need to feast on that with every opportunity they get over the present only called for two penalties last night. And that Preds power play is just two for 24. While the Blackhawks go with Kevin Lincoln in Nashville will go with you see sorrows in that he is two and two on the year so far with a 3.2 goals against average and lifetime against the Blackhawks. Oh, into with a 3.68 goals against an 8 77 save percentage and it looks like as the lineups are presented here this evening by Jeremy Collinson. Troy alluded to this earlier. He is going to go with seven defenseman so Lucas Carlsson remains in the lineup tonight as well. Nicolas Bohdan will be 1/7 defenseman Matthew Highmore, who got back in the lineup last night. Will draw out S O Bohdan can go back into the lineup as the Blackhawks looks to get a victory. Get back in the wind Come as they enter this 123 and two good for six points on the season and look to get back in the wind come for their first Victory on the road so far this year. "Yeah, I think I think Chris you can look at you know Mitchell's play there and and it's pretty easy. Just say Hey, listen on that situation. Let's back off into the neutral zone. Really. We were forced into a corner rate by the boards and the blue line there. You don't have many. Options. Let's back out. Let's regroup. Let's try and find some time and space still awaiting a second player at the podium for the Blackhawks right now, As soon as we see someone, we will certainly die. Then it's gonna be interesting to hear Jeremy Carlton's comments after this one, and you know, in terms of of the four lines there was a There was a lot of quietness among the four lines except for that fourth line once again because You know when things were going well over the 2nd and 3rd period's usually it was that force lot of fourth line getting some action in Nashville zone. You just You just wish those guys were there for reasons. Just wish someone Would be that that may, perhaps is a little bit more of a finisher, our creator among those three guys because they do everything else, right on down that sheet of ice. They reliable in what they need to do. They're not going to create a lot of grade a scoring opportunities, but they're gonna muck and grind and they did get in the offensive zone. They're going to crash to the net. John had mentioned that Hagel was denied his first ever goal in the NHL by a nice save My pecker rainy, but that was a big scramble right around the front of the net. So look at that. And take a page out of the way that they play. It's a simple game. Put it into areas where you could four check. Get in there hard Finish checks, get pucks towards the front of the net. Get bodies there and look for those loose pucks. You know, I thought it was a quiet night for Um, You know a lot of players in this game that you would hope that they stepped up and continued building the momentum that you saw here in the last couple games and Circle back to its Malcolm Suban because some eyebrows may have been raised. And Jeremy Carlton didn't go to Kevin Lincoln. And for 1/4 consecutive start after a day off, trying to keep that moment, um going. You figured he was going to have to split these duties here, but this was certainly no felt of Malcolm Suban, and he has to feel pretty good about himself. Coming out of this game after having just that season opener under under his on his resume for this season. If you're the goaltender right now for the Blackhawks, it's very tough. Um, mentally too. Keep yourself Being positive in the process of what's going on here. You're looking for one goaltender to step up and be the guy. Not only are you looking for that one guy, but you're also looking for the guy who could be the The number two guy and there's three guys in the equation. They're all going to have some opportunities here. And I think that for Suban after that first game little bit frustrating against a really good team that buried their opportunities. Now you look at this game here at National had some good quality chances and he was up to the task, so he's got to feel a lot better about his play here tonight. You don't know when the next start is going to be. I would assume that because it's back to back that the Lincoln and gets back into the net at tomorrow, But there's not much that blanket and probably could have done in this game. There was any better than what Sue Banded. Tell you what as we wait more reaction, Let's take a break here. Our post game show. "Blackhawks win six to a four point weekend for them, they outscored Detroit 10 to 3 over these two contests. Tomo get the win column A couple of times. Here's the postgame show rolls on up until the top of the hour. We brought you all of the post game. Reaction in its entirety, along with some awkward zoom moments that we will sometimes have here when we do that for you, but six to again your final Some of the things that you heard Jeremy Carlton, talk about anything particularly stand out. I know. One of those questions, was asked about the workmanlike effort that they needed to bring here to show that they could take another step. Keep the progress going, and I think that's something that Jeremy was was pretty satisfied with here today, really impressed here in the last couple games to see how the building process on how they want to play his has come along here. I thought tonight that there was You know you're going to get hemmed in and Have your moments where you're being dominated by the opposition team. But I thought the structure in all areas was really good. They they've started picking off a lot of plays in the neutral zone there passes were crisp tape to tape coming out of their own end of the ice. Um and very few times in this game, And if you can think of one, I can't off the top of my head where they really missed manage the puck less scrambling while they were smarter when they when they had, you know, in the neutral zone, if if there wasn't place that weren't there The chip pucks in and they very seldom. Did you see Bernie a play the puck, so they were putting into areas where Detroit had to go back on. Do you could get a four check in or if you're making a line change, get some structure in your neutral zone Defense system. I just I was really impressed. How much is that of the Blackhawks? And how much is that Red wing team that you know, looked like it was struggling, but I gotta throw it into the corner of the black arms. It'll be a better test as you move forward. You know, you're gonna play Nashville that on paper, like everybody saying is a better team. Tampa was really tough to play against. You make mistakes against those type of players with that type of talent. And, um, you're not going to keep the puck out of your net. So you did a lot of things right that you could build on here. But don't get ahead of yourself moving forward. You've won two games in a row, which is great. There's so many positives in this game, but you know, just just temper. You know the enthusiasm and make sure that you prepare the right way to play those back to back games Tuesday, Wednesday against Nashville. It's going to be tough that are hardworking team, but what you've seen here over the last two games here, I think there's tremendous progress in the way. That this team identity is going to develop, and that's important for Jeremy and what he wants to reinforce and again when you get results like this. If you play well, and you think you're You're heading in the right direction. But you lose. You still build off a lot of stuff. But when you get reinforced with six goals for even strength goals in this one Um, actually, five even strength calls right? Yes, IBM strength cool. They only had four in the first five games that five on five so It really gives the players an opportunity to absorb what Jeremy's message is reinforcing it by the video saying, Listen, here's where we get results. Show the guys going to the front of the net. This is how you score goals in the NHL. This is how you manage the pocket the tail end of a shift. This is what you do, so they've got a lot of good stuff that they can work with here. And the players need to buy into that and again don't get ahead of yourself. This is a long season and lots of work to do and you still earn a position where you're under 500. But boy, a lot of good things came out of these two games against the Red Wings and two individuals don't ask about before we do. We cut you loose here. And that is Adam Beau Quist had himself probably his best game of the year in new You pointed out, a couple of Couple of real good and smart things that he did today. Yeah, and again, you know, you look at a few suitor and he's 24 years of age. Both questions only 20. So you forget that you don't give Bo quest another four years of maturity and see where he's at. Without being picky where he were his players right now, But I thought that he looked a lot more confident playing in this game this afternoon for the place that he he made, he won some battles. I didn't notice anything in the defensive zone that stuck out in my mind and a lot of times when I'm watching it. John's calling that the aim and ill mentally, you know, make a note that okay, he's on the wrong side. Of the player, whatever, blah blah. I thought he was really good in that area tonight, Paris afternoon, and he made great plays when he got the puck. He was He was smart with what he needed to do and really kind of, I thought had a solid game here. He's playing with knocking Keith, which always helps the one guy that I thought I had a really good game. And if he can continue on here and stay healthy is Calvin, don. I thought he was really good in this game. Yeah. And finally, let's let's go to the net here, Kevin Lincoln and you know Another solid performance and and he kicked..

"Off the clock. The Blackhawks will take a two to nothing lead into the dressing rooms after 40 minutes, shots on goal favoring the wings. Now, after 2 22 to 17 shot 12 to 5 in that period by the Red Wings, they pick up the only goal on Calvin don slap shot from the point. His first of the season. But I think the Blackhawks five on five that a pretty decent job where they ran into problems was on the penalty killed and then trying to straighten things out on the next shift or two after that, so stay out of the penalty box here in the third period. If you're the referees, you look at the Miss Call on Sidorov, who wasn't very happy there. Patrick Kane certainly voiced his displeasure on catching a little bit of a high stick to the chin and he got an unsportsmanlike conduct. So Blackhawks a little bit sloppy and what they were doing his father's taking minor penalties. But that's my only complaint of that period. I thought there was some really good things. Happening, and congratulations to Ian Mitchell picking up his first ever point in the NHL on the Don goals, So some good things happening for the Blackhawks through 40 minutes. It seems like everybody in the black oxide is engaged to a great degree so far here to you, and you know if you look at what's been going on around the league, I mean in Columbus in particular you got Disgruntled forward there appear Luke to blind. You know there's distractions there, but benching and stuff. You look at the numbers in this game other than the guy's getting some minutes taken away because the penalty kill if you're not on that. Jeremy Carlton has been able to use all four lions because everybody is involved in the equation. I haven't seen anybody you know, make some bad plays or lack of effort. So you wanted a good solid 60 minute effort here on on home ice at the United Center Up to this point, you pretty much got it from everybody. So far so good. The Hawks to the wings. No score after two Chris Bonus standing mind Black Cock Central, and he'll have a full intermission report. In third period. Action will soon ensue and we'll find out if the Blackhawks can hold onto this lead and register their first win on this young season. We'll find it all out in a little while. After two to nothing. Just say play WGN. Chicago enjoys We cut You loose your shoes. Some final thoughts. I think over the span of these four games. We have seen the Hawks get better. And one thing that didn't happen to them tonight was, you know you can talk about the two goals that the Florida Panther scored in the span of Three minutes in the first period. But there wasn't this big avalanche where the game got away from them, as it did in the first three contest. There was a three goal period in each of the first three losses. So as this team does come home that being said, coming home against the Detroit team, I think we have seen Ah step by step progress in each other. Each of the four games as we've gone along here to the process is in place and Jeremy Collins and I think as a pretty good Um, pulse on what's going on assess far as you know, you can't get too excited. You can't get too low. You You are going to go through some growing pains with this team. You are going to make mistakes, and you hope that the younger players Don't make the same mistake twice. They learn from their mistakes and move forward and are better players to make a better team. But you like what you saw there was Some mistake's made it in in this game that came back to haunt them. I know you said the ice times were out of whack. But did you play vocalist the regular amount of time, and if he is, he's showing the same amount of confidence he has in the past. Well, I think with him it's He's a He's a young guy, and when you make a mistake, sometimes it's hard to bounce back. But I thought No. Tonight. He did bounce back in the third. You mean a couple nice plays. He was assertive. He advanced the puck. He jumped in. Gonna happen where he makes mistakes, and it's our job to help him through it, And it's also his job toe. Responds in in a way that you know he's not gonna let it. He's got to be relentless. He's got a have the mentality that he's going to find a way to get it done for the team. We believe in him, and he's gonna believe in himself. Jeremy on the on the power play like you spent a lot of time in your own and on the first one, But then you know it was all cylinders clicking on cat school. What do you make of that? It's just inconsistency. Well, they pressed your heart up ice, and they had a desperation. Keep the puck in our end, and we didn't probably match it on. You know, they pressured up ice, and to me that's an opportunity for us is just find a way to win a 50 50 and then go the other way and take our four on three. So that's the way we gotta look at it. Thank you know, to bend Pope with the Chicago Sun Times, Ben, your lines active in Go ahead. Jeremy. Just following up on both quest seemed like he gonna get bent. It's a little bit there at the end of the second. Did you have a conversation with him Theater mission or something that led to his has improved third period. We talked to him. I think it was Thomas talked to him. Listen. He's There's gonna be mistakes mate, and it doesn't change how we think of them, and we believe that he's gonna be a big part of this and it's our job to help him through it. So again. I thought he did respond positively. We needed him. We couldn't just go down. Have him not play the rest the game, so I thought he bounced back. It's Jeremy Carlton after his team Falls five to talk a lot about Adam Book West, who is ice time was 13 minutes and 11 seconds. If we hard to believe these final box scores has been changing into the game went on from the folks down in Florida again. 13 minutes of ice time for Adam both question. Yeah, that one play that he made in the third period, activating when he needed to jumping into the rushes. Long as he had some safety on the backside cover enough for him. Good evening, everyone and Welcome to the Fanduel, Chicago Blackhawks pregame show. Living up tonight's contest between the Black Hawks and the Lightning in Tampa Bay. John Wadham enjoy Marie are standing by to bring you the call here in our WGN studios coming up in less than an hour, but let's dive into our Black Hawk story lines. It is January 13th, which is not only opening night this year, but Jeremy Carlton's birthday every year, And on the eve of his 36th birthday, the Blackhawks and Stan Bowman announced a two year contract extension through the 2022 23 season. Connor Murphy has been a Blackhawk for the duration of Jeremy's time here. It's a hard situation for anyone being coached stuff to step in mid season and then let alone with after cues such a Um, experience and big name and had so much success here and then on a team that has some older players to that are similar to his age. So I imagine that that would be hard, hard todos with and I think he's handled it well and definitely can see his comfort level and still has confidence in what he has to teach us and even teach those guys. Was older guys in our team, So that's a big part of of it. And imagine that was probably a hard hard thing. Toe come into, and and I think you know it really well as we welcome in Troy Murray from down the hallway again is that we said he and John continue. On the road games of the season, at least to start off monitors here in our studios. Jeremy still hasn't had a full normal season since he's taken over here after three Novembers ago when he took over and he won't this season, but his future has been removed from being, you know, potential distraction. He has certainly grown. We've all watched him in shown promise, as you know, now, unbelievably, he is the league's 14th current longest tenured head coach, and, you know now he looks to develop the players. The Hawks will continue to try to bring in under his watch. I think if you're Jeremy College in this is a real good move for the organization. You need some stability for so long you had you know Joel Quenneville here and everybody knew when she coming into the season. What to expect from Joe Quinn villain? And for Jeremy, you mentioned of you, man. It's been tough on him. You look at it. Ah, tough season When he comes in to replace Cube last year, the season was canceled or postponed. I should say this year's starting late and everything That's kind of gone into Jeremy Collins owns 10 Year here just hasn't been smooth, but it's a It's a big statement. I think from from the Blackhawks down Bowman and the organization That they need some stability. You need that same voice here. Give him an opportunity, especially some of these younger players coming in that they only know Jeremy College and they didn't know Joe Quinn Ville, so give him that opportunity. He's got a two year extension, which is good for him. I know that he's probably excited about that opportunity to continue on here as the head coach of the Blackhawks, and I think it's a real smart move by the organization. Yeah, And we know by now this unique schedule will be mostly played out in two games sets in each city. With a few exceptions, such as You know, the Hawks will host Tampa Bay for three straight home games. That's the lone exception in their schedule, but the league and the players they have to do what they must. Theo get a season in these continuing unique times. And that is something that lost on Connor is as he and his teammates prepared open against the reigning champs. Yeah, I'm excited to be finest. It's ah! Different year with this this alignment, So be cool Toe. Tonto, kick it off, And I think that's the game's all definitely mean a lot. Winner lose with each one of them. You're you're playing those teams so often that you gotta be able to take have Ah, lot of takeaways from the games and no, um How to take advantage of how to play against certain guys and certain matchups. So it'll be fun to grow within that way against each of the teams on obviously fresh field to go down and being in January, get some sun right away and in Florida and start out theirs is different than what we're used to. So it's a good opportunity for all of us. Well counter better not spend too much time in the sun. He says, Fair skinned guy, so we don't want him put on the air not allowed out of the hotel. Unfit unfit list. Do this, son. Burned, but Yeah, Detroit. It's the same seven opponents eight times each. I don't know if you could have stood Cindino sister really eight times in four months. But, yeah, you know, Nashville in Dallas, They're the only teams from the most recent makeup of the central who remain in there with the Hawks that many meetings against the same opponent over and over and over. That means we're probably gonna see some ill will between now and May 8th when the regular season wraps up, I hope so. E really do because that means that you're playing the right way and you're getting under the skin and you develop those rivalries by playing a lot of times. You know, back in the old days of the North Division. The rivalry was really established in the postseason. You played a lot of teams on a regular basis of division heavy schedule, but the rivalry was always developed in the postseason, and when you're going to play a team eight times It's going to be interesting to see how that rivalry develops. You don't have much of a anonymous city with the Carolina Hurricanes. You don't have that with Tampa with Florida, so you're quickly gonna gonna get used to that a little bit more. As you play into this season, especially with the back to back Sometimes three games in a row against the same team on bat will be a situation where players if they get hindered, feel that somebody's taken liberties, you'll take a number and wait your opportunity, and I think this is for a coach. It's going to be different as well. A lot of times. During A normal season. When you're only playing Tampa one time you might go over their power play their penalty killing, but you really kind of concentrate on what you need to do as a team to be successful, and that's against Tampa. That's against everybody else. But Like when you play a team in the playoffs. It's like you're going to play a playoff with these teams During the regular season, you will find that coaches will get more into the tendencies of the opposition team just because you're going to be playing him a lot more. On a regular basis, and I think that's kind of important when you factor in how these teams will prepare for one another when you're seeing town, but you really want to break down their game. You want to look at how they attack how they four check You wouldn't really normally do that to the level that you would this year s so there's a lot of factors going into playing a team that many times and certainly when you're playing that you want that animus the animosity. You want a little bit of hatred developed between the two teams and, you know, for your sake, taking a look at this is glass half full. It's good that you're here in the studios because the saves your four trips to Detroit, right?.

"You're fine. Do you mean you're you're fine. You're fine. Okay, As is the Cubs could be the favorite to win the National League Central. Yeah, as is as though the next two drops and Danny goes Wise. And the amazing thing was. I was watching some video of him last night in the guy's legit, Jerry. Uh, Liam had Oh, I said e guess who reads who tweeted out video of him. Trevor Bauer. About how you're good. Liam Hendriks is Miller. How excited are you? Your socks? Diehard, like there are less and less. It's harder and harder to find any holes on this roster right now with what they're doing on the page on paper. You got yourself a lockdown Closer. I'll give James Fagan of the athletic credit because he wrote up a breakdown of this, and he mentioned how Tony LaRussa in his book, One last strike, used to have debates with his pitching his longtime pitching coach, Dave Duncan. About whether you'd rather have a nice at the top of your staff or locked down closer. And Tony LaRussa always said I want. Give me the lockdown closer because that, you know, then the bullpen falls in the place. Look, you've got Tony LaRussa, and now you've got exactly what he's always wanted. And It's funny because they add him from the A's and White Sox fans can remember now as the playoffs this season. And you know it ended two at the hands of the A's. You had Liam Hendriks come out in game to throw 49 pitches and just shut down the White Sox in Game two. And everyone thought, Okay, well, Likelihood that he'll be available in Game three is probably not very high, but oh no, no, no Liam Hendriks in Game three when the A's eliminated the white sex from the playoffs this year, said Give me the ball went out there struck out the side in 14 pitches. I mean, this is a guy who has an attitude of he's got the old school. Closer mentality. Give me the ball. I'm gonna end this. I think it locks of perfectly and now the great thing is the White Sox had a good bullpen, but they didn't have the guy who you knew yet was going to be the closer. I'm not saying they couldn't have found that guy in this pen. What to know. You have a guy who you trust in the ninth inning and then you've got a lot of high velocity arms. Garrick Rochet. You know what I mean? Aaron. Bummer. So I went through analytical site last night. Two of the top eight relievers in baseball number one. Liam Hendriks, number eight. Erin Bummer. I mean, two of the top eight. Take that. It's all right. We got Ryan to Pere. He got an M V P vote it take that. It's pretty good to be a White Sox fan right now to Paris. Really Good little lime on top Tip. Parent temper. Oh, I beg your pardon? Well, it's the same way Do you see the season coming back? That's the same. You put a little live on him this upcoming season. I just, You know, I just look at the Capitol. I'm just very optimistic and we're gonna have some news here. Coming up very soon. Here.
