"Back. Everybody handled morning crew Tuesday, February 2, Let's do it more handle on the news. Jennifer Wayne Me Isis deported Hundreds of people under President Biden, Yours called his eyes. Now you're a may remember that at the beginning of his term, the president announced his campaign pledge was to stop removing most people in the U. S illegally. But Federal judge last week ordered President Biden not to enforce the 100 Day moratorium on deportations. But the ruling didn't require the government to schedule them. So in recent days, you've had ice Report people to three different countries. I believe 15 to Jamaica, 269 to Guatemala and Honduras, and more deportation flights were scheduled for yesterday. In so little more complicated than just hundreds of deportations happen, and at 7 20. I'm going to get into it on. I think the point of it is new president comes in and says Day one. Here's what I'm going to do easy to say that when you're campaigning, not so easy to do that. Out when you're sitting behind the resolute debt, Resolute desk and I'll talk about the ins and outs of that one ins. Of course, coming into government outs, people being deported. The Nazi incidents. Let's move on. 30 homes lost in a massive wildfire in Australia. Sweet deals to the floor had fires burning northwest of Perth, and they're more homes that are threatened 17,000 acres at this point Perth, Australia. Not too many people know a lot about it on the it's on the West Coast of of Australia. The The.

"Maven. This is let's do it handle on the news, Jennifer Wayne and me and the Let's do Breaking Fire news. I see five. So we're kind of going to do a twofer here, and I'm actually going to start with one that just we learned about just in the last hour. This is a brush fire that's burning near Hemet and Idlewild. When I started telling you about it, maybe a half hour ago, it was a 250 acres. I just got an update. Now it's at 600 Acres. 0% containment. They've got an evacuation order that's been issued for the mountains center community Highway. 74 is closed in some places, so people are advised to use the 2 34 right now they've got an evacuation. Center set up at banning community center. Now, we last night first we're watching this 250 Acre brushfire that started about five o'clock in 1000 oaks. Different fire. Totally way different area and s O Now that one last night that one is under control. They got a quick handle on that one group. But the winds Oh, my gosh, the winds. I don't know how firefighters do it the way that those winds can just whip up and just take that firing different 20 have wins. Now That's the herbs, road fire Unless you happen to be of British descent, then it's the herbs, road fire. Uh, all right. Let's move on. All right. One in three L. A county residents. Have been infected by Cove in 19 1 in three. So that means, though I mean a couple of things, I think that they say, scientists say this is a sign of how rapidly the virus is spreading through the region. But if one.

"News. Jennifer Wayne and me. I love the sound of this. What do you think about a deep freeze suitcase that would have Cove in 19 vaccines in it. Panic can because that's what visor is gonna have to have in order to distribute its cove in 19 vaccine because this is the one that needs to be kept and nearly minus 100 degrees, And this is where I know. A lot of medical experts are saying the Madonna one is going to be, um Far less of a logistical nightmare, I guess and its distribution because it can be just kept in the fridge where this one needs to be kept so cold, the distribution the distribution of the Fizer vaccine may very well be stopped cold on Penn intended, But let me go on. It wasn't that clever, But logistically the waited and it is 500 to 1000 doses in the suitcases, and it's only gonna last a week. And you have these small pharmacies. Let's say you have community pharmacies. They're going to get what 500 doses and it's going to be almost impossible in the special cooling and these neat, uh, suitcases that are filled with dry ice that costs well, I mean, they're not expensive. The Fizer, Uh, cooling systems are 20,000 bucks a pop. To keep the vaccine cold enough. So my guess is Fizer is going to disappear very quickly. If the Moderna the border, no vaccine comes in, and others that come in, that could be stored basically almost forever in a refrigerator. You know, vaccines are just kept in the refrigerator. Summer room. I'm assuming summer at room temperature. Correct me. If I'm wrong on that one. Someone can look that up where vaccines are either stored at room temperature or refrigerators. I don't know how many are kept frozen. Next to the turkeys. Right there at Ralph. You got the turkeys of frozen turkeys, and you always want to do fresh on guard. You go vaccines right next to it. At least I make shopping easier. I say something. Yes, certainly does. All right, Let me make a excuse me. Let me make a hard pull on this steering wheel. And get us back on the road. Um Jen, I'm so sorry because I know that you have a friendly relationship with our governor. But he's a massive tool..

"The news, Jennifer Wayne and me. Around Coachella could be postponed a third time next fall. They should put it at Disneyland. You'll never see that it'll never be. Oh, I mean, it's not funny in terms of dynamic impact. But you know what I mean Something like Coachella's has to be the very last kind of thing that comes back just because of its funny I mean, it's not even like a Hollywood Bowl concert, which is what $18,000 that place is full. You're talking over a quarter. Million people over the course of a Coachella that's over two weeks, so I mean, they're Stickley. Maybe 100,000 people crammed together at 1.1 place. I went to AA desert trip or desert Storm or whatever the hell that was with trip. Yeah, I knew that. And it was. I have never been so jammed with so many people in my life. I mean, it was just crazy and lives people so you can imagine, And these air you know fairly young people except the one I went to rolling stones, etcetera, a lot of young people there, but it was It was a lot of close contact a lot of breathing on each other. Especially everybody was so high. You don't even have to take a puff. Just Took a sniff of the person next to you, and you're already high. All right. Last night in Westwood, you had Armenians gather in the street took over a big part of West Hollywood on then. Now we understand that Armenians from Los Angeles are going Tio R are traveling to Washington, D C today and this is all part of the protest against aggression by Azerbaijan..

"The a team. Jennifer Wayne Me when I'm gone, it's Z team. When you guys were gone is to be plus team. It works out. All right. The protesters who were saying things like we hope they die. When the sheriff's deputies who were ambushed this weekend, Compton got to the hospital, the sheriff says. They're almost worthy of Isis. Don't think too many of us agree. It's despicable beyond despicable, he said. It's a a new low for the hatred that I don't think anyone in this nation has ever seen before. No, I can't accept the fact that they're out there chanting Let them die, or we hope there they die. You know what First Amendment. I can buy that as despicable as that is, they have the right to do that. Blocking the emergency room entrance, where they arrested for trespassing. I think some were arrested. Okay, I think they're going to be in front of a judge, and I hope the judge looks at them and gives them the absolute Max. It's a misdemeanor up to six months. Problem is six months. Today is four minutes. Ah, it's so They're walking away. I wouldn't be upset with excessive police force on those people. You know, As much as I have a really problem with excessive police force. I wouldn't mind a baton or two on someone's head. These people stopping the emergency room exit and saying that about two cops were ambushed. That is a new low. I have not heard of that at all. I mean, you've been in news for how long, Jennifer, you know, 20 years 25 Year. Almost 30. Have you ever heard of anything like this? No, That's why I was disgusted When I heard it. It's like, you know, and I agree with you. It's it's free speech and but Wishing death on anybody to me is just plenty of people. Yeah, I have no problem with that. But in this one, this is a little tough. This is Yeah. Disgusting. Well, Bill I brought up that this might happen yesterday. There has been some backlash against the sheriff's challenge to LeBron James to match the reward. In the search for the man.

"Jennifer Wayne comes back tomorrow and me. There we go. Well, there is a public there was a public radio journalist who was arrested over the weekend during a protest. Really Interesting story. Yeah, So it's a KPCC and latest reporter Josie Wang. Up from the ground. They're showing several deputies. There's video of it, pulling her up from the ground, handcuffing her outside ST Francis Medical Center, and earlier the video show deputies pushing her away from a patrol car where somebody was detaining a guy, so it looks like she was going over there trying to stop them from detaining the guy, or at least you know, might have been. I don't know what she was shouting at them or what? But then everything sort of went from there. Yeah, and it said, this is where it gets a little ah, wonky or a little hinky, actually, ah, she's she gets involved. In three altercation, right? She's not a reporter at that moment, simply reporting and looking at what's happening. So she how gets involved. The police are seeing someone just getting involved and they're gonna argue she's interfering with ah, a police encounter. She is screaming. I'm a reporter. I'm a reporter. They are saying that she'd identity didn't identify herself. It's press and she later admitted she didn't have the proper press credentials on her person. Now did she have any press credentials? Was she wearing? It wasn't easy to see. And if they're not proper, how the police going to know Oh, that's not appropriate that that's not a real police press credential, so Ah, it's Ah. If it turns out that she yelled. I'm about poor grammar reporter in intervene. I got to tell you the fact she's a reporter is incidental to the process. Reporters should not jump in. Because she intervened with the police at that moment, and she is simply someone intervening. It's only ask you if you're covering that, because you are a alleged reporter, unlike well, me, But then I don't pretend to be. Would you intervene? No matter what was happening if a police were beating someone up Oh, that wouldn't jump in. If I could see where maybe my Just my morality would take over and I think I might jump in the middle. But not without knowing there were repercussions. You would recognize that you're done as a reporter at that moment. Well, yeah, And maybe the other thing would be if I just thought that something inappropriate was happening, but not not where somebody was going to be hurt. I would just call I would call the station. They put me on the air, so I'd understand what actually happened because we're getting different stories, and I haven't seen the video. And so that is merely speculation on my part. I don't think it's being refuted that she actually got involved. No. Yeah, sitting. Ah, ah and Yeah. All right. In Georgia. There is a white sheriff's deputy who can be seen in this video, repeatedly punching a black man who was pinned to the ground and now that sheriff's deputy has been fired..

"Lets continue on with handle on the news, Jennifer Wayne and me Well, the Trump Administration has already limited the foreigners that can come into the U. S. But what if you are a U. S citizen and you want to get back into the U. S when it comes to Cove in 19 concerns. Good day. So now that is the latest thing that the president is looking into anyone who may have or may have had Corona virus that or cove in 19. He doesn't want to let back into the US and the constitutional issue is very interesting here. Does he have the authority to stop a U. S citizen come coming back into the country. And I think not. If there are alternative means to allow U. S citizens come back. That's a big step. U. S citizens can cut not come back in their own country. I think the president does have the authority to do what New Zealand did. Ah, and saying, If you're in New Zealand citizen, we can't stop you from coming back. You're two weeks quarantine at the airport. I think the president can do that with a health directive. Ah, declaration, But I think it would have a hard time saying you just can't come into this country will specifically at the U. S Mexico border and another one sending setting up the san You see to report of entry in that they're putting up testing site and again, there has to be a rational basis if it turns out that there is no more Covert covert positive. People are sick people coming over the border, then are already there in Texas, Arizona. I think he's going to have a hard time and at this point, there's no evidence that they are bringing in more so because community spread already and so I think there's maybe some big issues. I'm going to talk more about this at 9 20 by the way. President Trump briefly taken out of the briefing room because of an incident he.

"Everybody on Thursday morning March let's go right into a more handle on the news Jennifer Wayne me well apparently Americans are now starting to hoard food behind corona virus fears and one big company want you to know they're gearing up to make sure you can have it he used to be the not so good was there no cable superbly there's progress which is a really good soup they are but I believe progress so is a Campbell's brand it may be but it's still Progresso right right as for example are you go Progresso chicken soup has huge chunks of chicken in it yeah and Campbell's chicken soup all right someone goes check whispers chicken and that's their chicken you don't like the sirloin burger I guess what I don't know I've never had that but actually hamburgers definitely I think the really big soup to you like a thick soup you go to Brent's deli I'm giving up a plan here they have a beef and barley soup that is not there's almost no liquidity is just this hardy hardy was like a stew it is always a Campbell's is speeding up it stop production yeah and there later in in great now they say look that only ten percent of their ingredients come from outside North America and only two percent actually less than two percent from China so what Campbell's is saying is we're going to be fine yes stocking up and we we're we're lucky that our supply chain isn't as impacted by right unfortunately I you're not gonna get as much formaldehyde coming in from China as you used to to make soups a real quickly I just read a story Starbucks is no longer letting customers use their own cops for refills out of coronavirus precautions how does that work because someone has to take a touch it yeah I don't know if you've cleaned your cop yeah that makes sense or you might just send it out I can see that it out back and so they say they're also stepping up their cleaning workers have been told to sanitize door handles chairs and tables more often during peak times and it's close to thousand Starbucks in China I didn't know that this that's one of the things why the United States is better set first world countries are better said to deal with corona virus because of this massive cleaning and sanitizing of everything and it is for example here right when Gary comes here if you know starts to show I mean he sanitizes everything as does some Alex before I show up everything is sanitized and so it smells like Lysol is actually pretty good so we do a lot of sanitizing all right twenty one people are still unaccounted for a day after those deadly tornadoes in Tennessee the death toll now at twenty four yeah with twenty one people still missing so you know it's going to go up substantially when they discover.

"Good morning everybody handle here as we continue with handle on the news on this Thursday morning Jennifer Wayne and be well the governor has said you know what P. Jeannie if you don't get your stuff together I'm just going to take you over wishing for it anyway their entry bankruptcy and the governor is trying to stop the bankruptcy or put it in there I have to judge instead of allowing the board of directors instead of allowing PGA need to reorganize under the current management at Newsome says get them all out and that the we want to change P. Jeannie completely or the state will take it out Jane wells I just talked to her this morning she actually talked to the governor yesterday about this specifically and she said she tried to pin him down on how much is this going to cost and he said I have an idea in my mind I'm not gonna tell you right now because they don't have exactly all the facts then she said also as a socal Edison customer why do I care about this and is in this eventually it's the state taking something over so eventually aren't going to have to pay for it of course and she said that it's sort of caught him off guard she said I don't think he was expecting that question and he just said that like in other words almost we'll just wait I'll give you the specific price soon as I'm ready and then you wonder how efficient the state can run a utility yeah his is a utility being either totally private Clydeside private I. L. A. D. W. P. for example I don't think is a private concern I think it's a quiet sigh the municipal organization much like the airport commission right you know the way LA access right well three are arrested after the FBI raids a church in van Nuys over human trafficking it's the kingdom of Jesus Christ Church it is out of the Philippines and what these people are accused of doing his side people would join the church and they would basically turn them in to finalize a fund raising the indentured servants making them go around to raise money and beating them and abusing them psychologically for didn't make quotas and they would work for no money remember the R. Hari Krishnas at the airport yes that model although they were to be used in you could leave many times so I don't want analogize that but I think the people joined the temple and for free would spend hours at the airport around street corners site with Safran robes and I chant you know what actually was started by a guy named Harvey Christian man I saw people if you listen you would be they be chanting Harvey Krish men Harvey Krishnan Harvey Harvey heads wherever prepare your homework based on what bill Handel says great yes that's great okay you guys normally wouldn't bring up a police chase I know that we're covering this in traffic however this police chase that went from Long Beach to San Pedro the guy got the I don't know how you put this but they got a minute pit maneuver and the car spun somehow while the car is still spinning the guy bails out of the car he's it as younger tall guy it looks like but he got out of the car and he has just run into somebody's house and they're still out there yeah Jim self he's inside this yellow house that you're looking at right now and do they know is anybody there I don't know he just and they don't know if he has a weapon or not no he just got out of the car and ran in and win in the back door this house I know you were watching this in real time as which is how Jan works she does fifteen things at one time the news reads it watches what's going on follows everything I so at least that the the chase is over and now this is a spin at him in the house that's just it that's why I stopped because they know where he is they know where he is but who knows who's in this house well it's not going to mention it's six forty in the morning and some guy just bills in your back door yeah and I'm willing I'm assuming people are home most people aren't crazy enough to work our our our hours and their door was open because he was able to go right at so anyway sorry this is my slight distraction there no alright man in Mississippi has been accused of faking his own death to avoid child rape charges now this guy's been added to the U. S. is list of fifteen most wanted fugitives and he's wanted on suspicion of sexual battery touching a child for all kinds of different discussing resent reaping impregnating his step daughter and teenage step daughter and yeah although he's out there now and they don't know where he is Colorado Nevada Louisiana Mississippi he's a survivalist yeah I mean I mean down there in the woods and you can be there we are a quite at mankind they usually catch those guys so you know there are too many people although I can't Bundy how long was Ted Bundy doing his thing out in that little cabin in the middle of no kissing ski yeah yeah yeah not Bundy I yeah although trying to figure out where in who it wise was years in the making but those people aren't that easy to catch although they usually do it just takes a while the more they the more they stay completely off the grid the much harder it is to get him down our postal worker in Virginia felt so much pressure to deliver all the mail that he ended up renting a storage space and stuck it in there instead he's pleaded guilty to charges of delay of mail and he's set to be sentenced on February twelfth he just was overwhelmed right which mail there was to deliver and he could get up to five years I don't think he's going to cause a chest pressure or and he didn't keep Padian steel lady in open at and only out of the five thousand pieces ninety seven were first class the rest of it was junk mail good interface say though if they wanted to nail and that he did keep it he did steal it but he technically wasn't it it's kind of obvious that he put it away and he said he intended deliver so I think they're gonna have a tough time with intent to criminal intent on this one well I don't know I think it's fascinating I mean that's why I've never works well that's why it's only delay of mailing not theft of mail right yeah all right the odds take a break come back I got a great story about cats your account person aren't you I'm an animal person I happen to have a cat because I live in a condo and I don't have a yard so doc would be very problematic understood all right taking a break we'll come back and do plenty more Jennifer Europe sixteen people in the ID been arrested in a drug bust prosecutors say the drug trafficking ring use post offices to ship large amounts of cocaine and other narcotics across the country one of the biggest LGBTQ groups in the nation as the doors people to judge for president equality California and its partner group and if that is the the former south bend Indiana mayor who is openly gay has the most in depth plans to project LGBTQ youth in schools and end the HIV epidemic and K. "We'll talk a little bit about that at seven AM and then the astoundingly boring debate last night with a democratic debate a couple of nice little jabs with each other but nah and nothing really nothing all right back we go more handle on the news Jennifer Wayne and me are at a British actress claims that she was attacked by a lift driver set up and there's a video of this and she got pretty beat up in it but these all apparently started because she was playing music in the backseat of a car owner phone really loud and the lift driver says Hey turn that down and she says you know no I won't he says our animal three out of the car if you won't turn the music down and she says all call the cops if you do that well he didn't care about that pulls are out of the car and it beats rap beats are out yeah and there's video right and there's the him on now left drivers as left and uber have hi and how do you defend against hunting one or two either crazy people or people have fallen through the cracks when you have hundreds of thousands of drivers by the way I'm not arguing that too lift ruber should be responsible and that there's no question but is anybody surprised that this happens I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often right speaking of uber uber issued a report that shows government requests for writer information have gone up significantly.

"No one was answering wasn't moving when you walked up to know and then I did something dumb competit- because I was like maybe it will be like take it and so a pet it hits but it didn't bite got hit by a car I think so and so I read read on all these like websites that you go back and you get a box and you've covered with a blanket and pick it up and then I could take it to an animal place the next it's morning but by the time I went back I went and got my box from a wine that I bought a big old box of came as Iraq and was GonNa go came as I love it and by the time I got back it had. I don't know why wasn't there anymore. Well that's good. I know hopefully really hopefully it's okay. Maybe you woke him up but that happens to me all the time it happened with the possum to on that same street and I waited there in the rain it was when we were having an ice storm and it was just happening and I was just getting poured on and I just thought with the Pasta until the animal control came and got him so so that's how crazy I am. I think that's really sweet chase stray dogs around the neighborhood. Oh yeah they all waking up looking at the sights to see what strays are missing and like chasing him down. No luckily because I'm not home and do that anymore yeah but my mom has taken the same way oh she's the same way but bow now is like. I rescued a pit bull and somehow we got him to California on a plane when they wouldn't allow pit bulls. I'm covered in Maine. I mean oh my gosh and so we got him to Melvin now. He's living the life on the beach. It's it God okay so tell me how you've gotten to where you are now. So after start off tennis started off moving doing solo things we got together. We formed a band and amazing race then you also after amazing race. Were pursuing another band for a little while to yeah I was in It was called Darlington Abbey with Josh He's an incredible player but I just kind of I guess just kept writing was like the main thing and then that Eric passing song really kept me going because my publishers signed me again because of that and so and then Benny Brown who is head of broken bow at the time he saw Naomi staying and he had heard about my songwriting and you and it's Kinda how it all happened really songwriting. I feel like it's Kinda what Eddie Yeah and then then joined that band which has been away June and that was five years years ago. I think five years ago that's crazy but even that I mean it's been a long road for us. I mean we have this is our third single and Dan girls that get married and came after us. That'd be so many girls came after us at just skyrocketed and we have been waiting waiting for the moment that we're going to make it and finally this year we've had we just had our first top. Ten did break history with your first single 'cause y'all which we wrote together so they asked. Lucky and grateful to be part of that so caroline and I wrote lipstick our first single together and also our title track blue roses so pretty it's beautiful. It's my favorite song and album pretty over Brigham history though even he didn't have a number one or top ten whatever you at trio female trio hadn't the top twenty five and took the yeah. It was crazy so that was like okay. You're getting some credit we were. We were getting awesome like we got nominated for ACM New Group of the year or two times we were getting you know recognition yeah recognition and you know I think for for us just being out there grinding it out on the road and figuring out like what we like to play live what people like to hear live. It just took a lot of growth on the road for us to get to where we are now and I feel like now you could just put us in any situation and we're like we've been there done it. When you play anything we could have any sound problem any whatever problem could happen nice to be at that point yeah and feels good because you're like you know what I worked for this. You know I feel I feel confident and comfortable comfortable because I've been in this situation a thousand times uh-huh before three now know how to work together and all situation yeah and also like having people that carry who underwood forget forget that I've been on Tour Carrie underwood all year. It's been amazing but having people like her. She didn't give you like her stamp of approval that just it just means everything and I feel like that all the People John Party that did it all the people that have helped us in our career. It's just kind of little things that have gotten us to this point point and it's just a crazy feeling very grateful for the community and like the people that have reached out and helped and I feel like we could do that to oh. You know like every every female to especially that kind of breaks there. I feel like we're breaking down doors for people up and coming new artists behind us you know is it hard hard. Being a female and country music do feel that. I don't think it's hard because we're going to be in our own world and we just go play. We do what we do but I think when you look look at the charts you definitely see this. There's a definite lack of females on. I think there's three females right now. In the top thirty it's US Carrie and Miranda and it's just like it's not enough. Oh you know so I don't th I don't necessarily feel like it's hard to just feel like there's an obvious lack of of female airplane and also not just radio but on fairs and festivals and tours and it just feel like we all have been talking about it so long but like we need to start doing stuff carey. She just did it like I'm taking to feel ex- Allen tour you know and I feel like that's the next stop for this year next year. Just everybody like start me yeah so the conversation has been had and it's time it's tired yes analysis do yeah speaking of top thirty top ten single. It feels amazing. I mean y'all came by my drinks. I was like if this song it does not go all the way then I shocked I have your voicemails saves just because I I deleted all my voice mails but I specifically say about about one because it was one of the coolest voice mail voice messages I've ever gotten and she called and she was like Jen. This is the one that it's the one and I have it. I'm like yeah. I'M GONNA keep it forever and you right you will it just felt so good if so positive in its women empowerment but it's not male bashing we love Herman. You love your man but you lost a frigging love yourself and it's like you're just table to have a great time and do your own thing as as you are without a man and friends like the beginning it was like I called my friends. They can't go out like like you. Don't need your friends. You don't need a man. You'll need anyone to make yourself happy. You can make your own self happy and it saying just for the tonight. Yeah Keno what I'm still not over this guy. I'm just going to be by myself tonight. I'm not GonNa just jump into something else. You know it's just like I think you said it best. You said itself self love. It is about self love. My favorite line is going to be my own boyfriend saying yes. You can't be boyfriends and you should be your own boy seriously just die every time we saying that line. What's going to happen in the crowd and it's so just? Oh and the guy is eleven eleven heck yeah heck. Yes everybody loves. It is so good. Oh it's so good I'm so happy for you and just like your whole journey to get here and of stuck doc with it and to never give up. Stay mentally strong. It's just a testament to don't give up. It is if I can do it because you're you're twenty three twenty three years old. How many record deals have you had three three record. Kerr deals mixed with a million jobs and entertainment song plugger a radio REP. I mean we've done it. All you too but it's just like like you could have easily quit any of those times and just been like this is too hard. I'm not GONNA do this. I wanted to what what keeps you going because you knew that you would get here. Did you know you'd get here. I did and I didn't like I feel like you know you have to know like I said it's in your gut. You have to know that you can do it but your mind will be like. Oh what it really can't but you know I can but you had to know a lot. At least you had to know pretty strongly because this is a hard thing to keep going for if you don't strongly feel it. I think I'm just stubborn Michigan. I think I'm very stuff but I really truly believed to that like I was telling you about my faith in God and if if my journey was going to change even if I wasn't going to make it how I wanted to make it it was gonna lead me to what I was supposed to be doing and that's really what I believed even still to this day. It's like whatever I'm doing. Now is for a reason I'm here for a reason yeah and I'm on the right path so you trust it. Yeah I feel like you have to or else. It's impossible. You kinda like being an industry that forces you to trust that much in God yeah I mean for me. That's everything and I feel like especially country music. We're like a family and that's what's so special about it and we talk about God or in this day. Sometimes it's not the coolest thing to talk about but yeah faith is so important and I feel like this whole community kind of embraces that and I think it's wonderful. What's one of the moments that you think about back in your life that just makes you smile from ear to ear and brings you so much joy when you think back on my dogs everytime. I've rescued a dog the honestly the truth I like that's also songwriting is what I left but I really want to make a change for animals and I would I love to start a sanctuary for old dogs that kind of thrown out when they're older and just want them to have like a good life at the end you know and beloved at the end because I think that's everyone adopts new dogs than new pepys but all the old ones kind of get left behind so that's what I WANNA do. I love the mix fix them make some money to do so. That's like your goals charity island. You've always been dogs. Yeah and I love kids. Obviously I mean kids. Kids and dogs are are everything but I feel it. Definitely put dogs dogs on my heart for reason because probably so many people have kids on their heart. You know I think he definitely put that on my heart it for a reason. What does success mean to you after everything you've seen growing up with John. Was your grandfather like you've seen success and you have been on your own journey of major highs major lows. What is success for you at this point not giving up seriously like to me when I look back. I'm like so proud of myself for that. Obviously there's all these accomplishments that you create that. You've that happen but for me. I'm like wow I never gave up and that success he no you could have to fail is is to not get up when you do fail you know and failing is a part of success. All those things lead to it so I feel like not giving up. It's like that's. That's the coolest part. If you had to pick a song for your theme song of life what would be God well. My favorite song of all time is don't worry baby by the beach boys and I'm a worry wart. You worry about everything everything no. I mean Ah yes. It's crazy. You don't seem like you were yours an internal warrior. Oh Yeah you don't speak your worries. No I just in my brain just think about every every single thing they could ever happen. What.

"It was the greatest thing that could have happened for all three of us. Yeah just to prepare us for this entertainment journey totally and that's like looking back now. Thirty seven took a long time to get here felt like every single moment every single failure every single thing you did leads leads up to where you are now like. You wouldn't have the tools to be where you are now. If you hadn't done that you know and you really believe that one hundred percent with stealing angels I mean I learned so much rush from you. Girls being on stage and then radio like met so many radio people which got you and I are next job being on the other side of the music business. Tell us about that well so Carolina and I we just don't we just don't give up but we there is a label label and they hired us to be promotion. A promotion team together a duo which they promotion is the one that goes around promoting artists to to you people across the country and he hired us which yes which size we got on the other side which is so important to learn the other side of the news that wasn't a restless yeah a- and they hired us because Carolina and I knew radio from being in a band. They were like this is interesting. We've never no one's ever really done this before. They've never heard hired an artists to be on the side and we did really well famer forever enlisting. There's only one regional her region but Jin generally. We're not doing it if you don't hire us together like we're not going to go on the road and talked to all these radio. PD's who we love but like we've been used to being together in trio or s working together like we're not doing the Solo Yahtzee lowly out there on the roads too hard. It's too hard and also we knew we were good so we're like we knew we wanted to hire us and we're like this is the deal your company. Card Company card and I was it was the real deal never had a company carbon for us like ooh. Oh my gosh that's so funny. I know responsible when there was always one like super organized plan everything out and I felt like I was little sister but we had such a good dynamic dammit. I know we did because you brought me like you made me kind of more exciting where I'd be the boring one but we've totally passed a whole nother world that you and I did big world which was amazing race. That was a defining moment yeah all this is a finding moment but that was like that was crazy because it took us to a whole another stratosphere and also when our band broke up stealing angels broke up because Taylor got knocked up and she wanted to be a mommy and yeah ah was kind of like came to a screeching halt in Carolina narrowly whether we can do with our lives like Taylor got pregnant moved to Seattle. She's still married to her. Husband enjoyed and has the cutest boy now. She's like doing tribute. Band Loretta and she and Conway twitty's grandsons doing with her and she's like on cloud nine loves her life found her. It's like it's awesome. She found her spot yeah but yeah it came to a screeching halt and you and I are like what are we going to do with our lives yeah. We like the same way I think my showcase felt like it. All just came crashing down like we failed like one day to the next deal. I lost my publishing down. I don't know if you lost your. He's still had your but lost everything yeah. It was crazy and amazing. Race just happened like out of the blue. I think like a month later or some crazy. I don't us just so weird but they were looking for to country singers. God Carolina and I didn't know what we were going to do. In that came to us just fell into our laps the blue yes. Oh my gosh like yes little. Did we know what we were getting into. They were like Oh. It's a traveling show because I'd never seen it. You travel around the world world and do fun things and like Yeah Great. We had no idea how difficult your take on amazing race. What was your experience like. And what did you think about that. I mean it. It was unbelievable. It was amazing for lack of a better word but just being able to travel the world and see the way we did like. There's so many things that we would have never ever done on our own like I would never go to three Lanka or you know Malaysia wherever so it just felt like we got an experience that we would have never gotten without that show Berlanga where you made it outfit in sweatshop that was Malaysia Malaysia or China. Oh yeah maybe is that like we went to a sweatshop. I know you made Clo- An outfit yeah and you've got to see like what that really looks like like what a sweatshop in Asia and then third third world country looks like and it's crazy. That was what was so cool about amazing race. Is it puts you in the environment. You're not dislike a Taurus. You are like in real life environments that are happening in that culture yeah and you know also for you guys listening. You don't have any money like you just have the money that they give you per leg leg and so to like be at an airport and not be able to just buy a bottle of water just simple things that you would normally not even think about. It's not even about being rich. It's just being able able to buy a bottle of water to not be able to do that. It's like it just really kind of. Put things in perspective of how how lucky we are. That's that's my take on it. What are some of your favorite places we went to some of your favorite experiences and favorite teams a walk favorite teams. We love the cowboys. Boy loved the globetrotters. Dave and connor were the best and they were the father son duo who beat us at the end. I only got four seconds second place. We should've beat them fine. If we'RE GONNA lose anyone yeah they're both cancer survivors which was awesome awesome. They're amazing. I think those are my favorite teams. my favorite experiences will. Switzerland and I think it was just so beautiful like that cheese. The thing was not my favorite experience so what that that one was was lower is called myself. The man of our relationship with the Brion Gyn was my damsel and we had these forty fifty pounds pound jails of cheese that we had to haul up a mountain of snow. It's here at Jenin. I two girls not huge girls at all. No and there's big guys that were there doing exact same challenges us same way of cheese. I mean it's like thank you get no advantages. No it's all the same for everybody the physical part we get. It's tougher for women I feel like so we had all these bales of cheese up to this no filled mom long load them up on a sled and get them to down mountain and they're like falling the bailed falling. When the cheese balls off it sinks into the snow like it's not like it just falls falls often grass like you have to dig down in the snow to get out and it's like you can do. I WANNA eat the cheese hung in there. I thought we were going to hang in there and I know that was a great advantage. Yeah do you think so. Oh one hundred percent and no one thought we could do it. Everyone was like Oh. Let's keep gin and caroline around because we we can beat them at the end so let's keep them in the dirt man totally we worked it and then. I don't know which because we did two seasons season twenty four all stars this season twenty two and then all sorts of four so I might be mixing up the seasons but one time the cowboys had an express pass and how did you sweet talk me into. That was my theory. I'm like listen so an express pass telling the challenge because I was losing my mind my gosh curling with how we put together a car a big big lake toy a car and it was the directions in Chinese and she doesn't like putting stuff together to begin with. I know you love this. I thought you didn't realize that was my mom. It's unbelievable. Oh my God and I'm terrible too so Oh my poor Carolina it was that was that challenge was a nightmare nightmare so Carolina's just breaking down. She's like crying and I'm just watching her and everyone's breezing through. It and I'm like we're going to lose like we're GONNA get eliminated. She's having a breakdown and I'm like I have to express express pass or we lose and they express as you get to bypass that challenge cowboys had one for themselves and then they had to give one to another team yeah and they could give it to whoever they want at any time and so. I just went there and I just started working but my my reasoning was unlike listen. We are not a threat. You know we're GONNA use it right here so it will never be a threat to you in the future future they already done they already done already going to win the leg and unlike we're going to waste it right now and we're the worst team so if we're not a competition for anybody so you might it is we'll give it to US rather than the one of the good teams that could meet you yeah actually no. I know that's very honest. I worked got it. Never Forget your gave it to you just so thankful enough to put that thing together. I was like we're this is where it's over. Yes where we died. I know I knew it to our stop o but Jan.. That's one thing when you get in the zone. You can get in zone like when you know you gotta get something done and drop the hammer. I'll drop it. You'll drop it yeah. It's a good team. I don't I'm not really as good at dropping the hammer like I'm kind of a start a little more. It feels like in life sometimes on a regular basis yeah but are sort of in the beginning yes I'm like the slow snail but like I just won't stop and then when you really GonNa lay down you get a look in your eyes get focused it. It is happening. Oh my gosh. That's so funny and we got it we going. What were your one of your favorite. You know I'd love Web getting see the different cultures like you're saying it was so cool to go to Sri Lanka and like reading the text which are like little. He's the crazy cars that are going everywhere and I don't know how people don't get their no. Lehnhoff in high sticking their heads out cars running next to and there's no like no lanes or no pattern like this all all wild why don't wreck every day. I know I know we see that. Culture was amazing. I loved going to Africa. I love going to Africa and we got to stay in a cool place and that night when when we got to the bushmen asked us to do their little ritual Mike did the damage by the fire their babies and stuff it was unbelievable so so I remember thinking to myself after amazing race like it changed me in the way that to seeing so much of the world and getting to have so much intimate so many intimate experiences with with cultures and the apple in sculptors it over my eyes so much to realizing that there are so many ways to live life and seven ways to be happy and you can ours isn't the only way or the right way. You know stuck in your.
