"And Justin meet up at his art. Studio I suppose a woman of your age is allowed to have a little fling. Provided. It's discrete. Well Actually. It's it's more than a little flying. We've been seeing each other for six months. For six months and you never said anything. Was the point until I was sure it was serious. Syria you are not serious. He's a one third age. Thought half half, you're age. Still, young enough to be Say. And I don't WanNa hear it. Especially from. I just love these scenes with these. Justin has managed to fill his entire studio with work on shorter but I still love that space and I I just love the way that they're interacting in there, and we find out that the guy in the motorcyclist named tack. He's an eighth. Grade Science teacher at wait for it. Molly school remember molly. Justin's a little sister who hasn't been mentioned since like season two that's right. He has a sibling. Jennifer has a reason to be around a school. It's kind of funny because we complain so much that nobody keeps the book for the show here they did. It's like Oh. Yeah. We need a sister someone went back years. Where is there? Does, he have a sister or brother would have and cooler if it was like he teaches college any, he's Daphne's science teachers something like that. Jennifer's are in this one. So I like I like the fact that she was able to explain like this is what he does. I mean sure 'cause I could see like I glance your mom getting on a motorcycle with some young hot dude that you've never even heard about yeah. It's like wait who is is jarring but then here she explained like this is how I met him. This is what he does on I'm like okay. So he is a handsome stable will meaning like good with children so good children. Cool. Great. I would have loved it. If it was like lock shit down because clearly he's cool with her having a gay son. So what's up Justin is unusually caddy over Jennifer dating he hates his dad. So why does he care? It's like his only reason is their age difference. But again, why does he care Brian's twelve years older than Justin? So is it just because Jennifer? Kept it a secret there? Yeah there is something about how The uses language like disapproved are has to be someone who is appropriate and I was like who the fuck are. You do hooked up with some guy when you were seventeen. So we were always talking about the legality of that situation and not a boy van. And then you have. The nerve to be pissed off, your mom scored this hot piece of beefcake. Please fuck off. Yeah. That's why it just seems so manufactured to me and I don't know why this needed to be there. Is it just to draw Jennifer and justice closer together or modern? I'd well no I was completely ready for Justin to be like get all this information about what he has like. Oh, he treats you. Great. This is awesome. Get to normal because I. think that is so played out the more we see that the child is disapproving of the parent moving on and I. It's tired. I think that's just as much of a cliche. It would have been a lot more fun if he's like, mom you bitch for you like some shit like that would've been a lot of fun. Yeah. At first I was GONNA say that the story really had no place in a queer show but then I was like well, if there's any other character other than Jennifer Taylor, I would suggest we stopped covering it but since it's Jennifer Taylor, I was all into this story. Huge Fan yeah. So also at justice art show Justin is suddenly like a dick to the art critic. But why I did I miss something there. Surprising intensity to. Especially for someone so young. What made you want to be an artist it was a mass murderer. That's very amusing. Are being touched. Did, you hear what he saw. Remember this. Before is kind very influential count. I guess because the art critic is supposed to be a dick to like it's just Yeah but I didn't know why the only thing that I had was is this anger because Jennifer has a boyfriend because he wasn't an addict to Karen when Melanie's date came over I have no idea. I didn't quite get that. It's no I mean I thought it was more I. Think it had anything to do with that. He was upset about Jennifer though I was just because there seemed to be this Arab condescension from the critic. Like how he'd he'd ever wants to come to Pittsburgh early he had to be convinced to come here and like he was like pleasantly surprised by the art or some Shit like that Nice. Level headed justin usually roles with that. It wasn't until we had like Ping Pong Justin where he would get militant and so like Knowlton, Justin came out. Yeah. But here you put him in a black here you put them in this black turtleneck where he gets real artsy. The Blue Stripe on Oh my God he was also such a Dick to talk. Let me guess. You don't know Arp you like. I like my says an and John's And did go to college. Also. Like your stuff. Like another. Yes I do. Don't you want your own? That's not why like her. I like her because she's. Beautiful. Oh. Sexy heavy factor. Think that concerns you as they say, twenty five goes into fifty a lot more than fifty goes an twenty-five. Except in your case. Although to be fair, he's not white battled. She's an adult. So My Free Love whoever she pleases without her child's approval. Her son. And then an adult. I immediately talk tuck started talking because he came across. Like Super Intelligent, well-spoken can roll which essenes bullshit and he's hot and he just shots Justin down like very politely though loved it he just didn't tries the trip him up and Tucker's like I love these artists and he's throws night even just a typical artists and then he says I did go to college. Yes you did Justin's dropout. Yeah, you could see they're they're having this Ted Ted and then. Just address the claim that he's an adult. Birds ended walks away with that. Then act like one. There's great. While written seen. I was like Tucker. Take me please on this one limited situation. I walk up to a straight storyline inquiries book. Because it's good. It's so good. Again like Jennifer Ma you. Have Done Better Sherry Miller see if that guy had been cast as brandon I would have understood the rivalry. At. The diner later with Jennifer and Justin I love how Justin doesn't think that he was rude to talk. He's like all I did was ask some questions. Not. You were Dick Stop It. Do you think that Justin deliberately quoted word for word Jennifer Season One do you think that was just accidental? Taking title could be with. Someone, appropriate. Someone your own age? Funny coming from you. I was seventeen. Sure. You're my mother.

"And so there are like really. Ways in which? People are being cut out of the process and just they're not even trying to hide it anymore and I just find that shocking. Agree Cheer Point Jen about people not not being told the voice matters that their vote matters. I think this is a you know everything else aside. Protests and everything aside. I think this is such a challenging time to be thinking as a candidate about how do I go out and motivate voters when I can't even go talk to them I can't have a big rally I. You know how I can't knock on people's doors and say I care about you I. Want Your Vote, so you know and I think that that's something that it's perhaps going to be slightly less of a problem at the presidential level, because so many people will be voting against trump, no matter what but I think is going to be a huge problem down ballot. Ballot for people to to really capture the imagination of a of the people who will be voting for them. Have you been thinking about that, you know. Do you think that any of these virtual method or phone calls or anything are going to have that same impacting in encouraging people to think that we really do care about your vote i. don't know I mean. I think that this is unprecedented. What we're going through right now I think we will see in a once. It's over and I'm sure that there are people out there. Her measuring these things writing fundraising for instance I mean actually. Thinking of the presidential race, I know that there have been online. Fundraisers for instance for the president at the presidential level and they've been raising. Money I think. Kamara Harrah's just did a fundraiser with Joe Biden and they raised almost four million dollars for three and a half, million dollars or something like that so again. That's the presidential level is on a local race, but I guess it speaks to the fact that there is motivation energy still there are amongst constituencies. If you can translate that into voting and and you know donating Plate hopefully the work down ballot but I honestly really don't know how people are adjusting. I guess one positive thing is that. Since everyone is in quarantine, you do have a captive audience right? If people are online and looking for content on a lot of people are having know, zoom meetings with constituents, and so that's one thing rights, and there's less of a costs for people to travel to seek candidates so possibly, but I. I don't really know. I can't predict. You know how this is going to work. One thing that we've been talking a lot of a lot. About is the the vice presidential selection on the democratic side. You Know Joe Biden has has promised that he will choose a woman as his running mates, which were won't be. SADLY RARE History of America. Do you think that the selection of the vice presidential candidate is is different this time around so usually? We say it doesn't really matter that much. You know it can maybe help the ticket a little bit, but but when you have a candidate who who is so old compared to the history of American presidential candidates, and you're in this moment where it's hard to capture people's imagination, and it's hard to get them to sort of. Tune in and listen to what you're saying when you can't be there in person and we have so much. That's going on in the country that needs to be tackled. Do you think that that this time around the vice presidential choice is is important is different. You know what what qualities are you hoping for? In the woman that Biden chooses? Yeah, I mean obviously it's important. I mean I think that you're right I. Mean He is? He'll be seventy eight on inauguration day. I mean that's you know. Trump is only seventy three right now, and it's interesting to say no only seventy five years younger and Joe Biden so on inauguration day. You Know Joe Biden seventy seven now. His birthday is in November. We seventy eight, so that is obviously the reason why one? One reason why VP choices really important in it's grim to discuss the people. Are you know suspecting that he may not finish affoil to two terms given his age, and so I think that's why there's this huge focus on on the BP pick right and secondly, because he did promise that he'd pick a woman and I think that was a nod to a few things. It was a nod to Hillary Clinton. And her being cheated out of the two thousand sixteen election, and I think that's an odd to her. And all of the energy around women in a wanting to to you know vindicate what happened in that election and you know obviously there's lots of energy around you know women candidates. You know was the women's March and you know there was the you know the the wave. I guess they call it. The pink wave of to eighteen, the record number of women being elected to Congress so you know I think that. You know given that the presidential primary the Democratic primary. Also had historically high number of women running for the the nomination. I think that you know it. It's important that sense of what it means that. We could possibly have our first one president via Biden's VP. I mean that's essentially what everyone's thinking? If we didn't do it in two thousand sixteen, the. The way that we want and we'll, we'll get it. We'll get it one way or another. Yeah, you know I. Think it's it's interesting. And of course this has been talked to death by all sorts of political people, but you know we had this wonderfully diverse set of candidates on the democratic side and you know..

As far as we know when he first identified this sounds you could see that they weren't doing it with their claws. What did you think was going on yeah. It was really neat. The lead author of the Study Jennifer Taylor had actually brought out these animals into the lab for another study she was going to look at how they behave antagonistically to each other but then she noticed that they were making in kind of classic sound not with their claws and she got very curious and kind of brought the rest of the team to kind of figure out where the sound is coming from what what did you do in order to figure it out. I we used a laser doppler vibe Rahmatullah which is basically vibration sensing lasers to able to pinpoint where in the body the sounds coming from so that told us that the sound was coming from the body cavity probably this gastric mill but we need his see the gastric mill actually moving at the same time that the sound was being produced and that's actually really tricky to jail in bigger crowds. You can stick like an endoscope down L. Nancy the gastric mill moving but these are really small crabs kind of the size of your hand and when they make the sound they're moving around a lot so it's pretty hard to do so we actually teamed up with a group of medical doctors at Uc San Diego Medical Center and we use their radiology technology so basically weekly x Ray imaging to be able to make movies of the animals making the sound while they were moving their gastric. "I don't need Disney's help for that L did the right thing. And this is very exciting. News for Ron who I reached out to in the midst of yesterday, and he's so happy and thrilled beyond flattered that Disney is on the right thing here is double dipping. Did you answer? My question. Like, I know that you've got on and said that he's doing the right thing. But did you answer my question? What do I need to do to get suspended on? Listen. That's what a good manager. Does. He never answers a question. But I haven't been suspended in a long time. And we're overdue. Do you're not get in trouble. Once in a while. You're not doing a very good show. So like you got in trouble. No. But I want to get more trouble. But let's all get in trouble together is what I'm saying. No, no. I know I got in trouble. But I'm saying let's go because now a faceless attorney gets to wander around the premises without going to Trump. Faceless group of attorneys. Right. That's what I meant. This is a worldwide that they take that money out of my check for their Disney lawyers. Is that what they're doing? Like, I see I've got a legal it gets taken right under. My check is that what they're doing just playing defense against being BBB being able to name a hippo, Dan laboratory. I'm sorry. I get very much. Are we getting paid for like is this a we? Get in trouble with the as long as I'm getting paid. I mean, if not then you're on your own. The irony is that several hippos have started in Disney films, including Fantasia, and yet they won't let a hippo be named after laboratory, you know, what I call that discrimination hypocrisy. Special teams. I think we're third in the country takeaways, so we we play an exciting brand of football stunts off a good joke, and we're all sort of disoriented we kill even that's what the competence looks like fifteen years. I mean timing was there was there is there. So a Jennifer Taylor on Friday. April sixteenth nineteen ninety nine because when news breaks we get to nineteen years later around here. She wrote of Elton brand leaving do. I graduated from Duke last may and just wanted to express my disgust for your decision to leave the Duke program after only two years, that's an alum. Not only do I hold the school in high regard. But the basketball program as well, especially since both have deservedly garnered such a great deal of respect for their accomplishments. As part of our basketball program, you represent Duke as a whole we are, first and foremost and academic school. You clearly did not belong Duke in the first place. If this was the extent of your commitment to do and a college education in general, you've not only insulted the current students who are putting in four years at a school they love, but also the thousands of alumni who have realized the value of a Duke education, and what an honor and privilege. It was for there to be there for four years. If you do not realize the opportunity you have in front of you to play for coach K and at the same time to attain a Duke diploma, then that is certainly your loss. I just wish that you had spared us the notion that you were continuing in the tradition of being a Duke student athlete an emphasis excellence. In both academics and athletics. You will not be considered part of the Duke family in my mind as well as many others. You have by no means prove yourself worthy of that. Title. Sincerely, Jennifer Taylor. So Elton brand writes back. Thank you very much for reminding me of the reason why I left do people like you cannot and will not ever understand my situation. I'm sure daddy worked very hard to send your rich self to college while real people struggle. I would also like to extend an invitation for you, not to waste your or my time ever, again, never being considered a part of your posh group of yuppies really hurts me to the heart. Yeah. Right. Because I don't care about you or your alumni. A nice response and what happened Sancho? Yeah. Coach K said let me get all the Elton brand you'll want to get out of here in a year or two and Jennifer Taylor. I'm sorry. But history will not remember you kindly trying to protect four years at Duke slapping the floor as opposed Zion. Williamson three hundred pounds of dunking through the air there in your minor league system, you make amateurism that is really just injustice not getting people paid. I wonder how LeBron is going to try and change all of this with these internships. Cow LeBron and his team when you've got a million dollar internship out there for a college player as part of a a sneaker deal. Like, you can that is one way to sort of shake and rattle. The core of the system what give a kid coming out of college of million dollars say, hey, you could play basketball come work for me as an intricate a million dollars yet. The better option. You don't have to think about it. Very much thing gets the better option. I mean, we're all seeing the start of some sort of evolution. I wouldn't be surprised if you know thirty years from now, it sort of works where European soccer does were nine year old can get signed by a basketball team and get big contracts because you're just going to get more and more uncomfortable with where this is going with teenagers. You can do it. The way Villanova's done it. You can win a championship with guys who have been there for a minute. But that's taken along route we've seen with the Boston Red Sox. How it is that they have taken all the Tampa Bay and Oakland coupon clipping philosophies and also throwing money at them. So Duke can do what Crayton is doing better than anybody can do it. I mean, Villanova's one two in the last three years, so it did take a they had to wait a while. But they've been good for why? No. But now now coach k his stockpiling right now. Coach k coach K is going. He's tired of Villanova. That's correct. Tired of Villanova doing it that way? And now he's just going to get the the best three guys. Fest three recruits, but I have been remiss here because Greg Cody really wants to talk about this movie that this role that he's been. Offered. What is it? I don't even know how to say we made a bet with Daniel Baldwin. I won the bad. It's the only game. I won this past weekend. I stepped up in in a big moment there. And now I get a role in an upcoming Daniel Baldwin movie a role where I have to act and Greg it's a cameo. So gamma was looking through the upcoming projects of one Daniel Baldwin. And I thought it might be fun to listen to some of the descriptions of the movies that he's in the explanation for these things that are in production. What do you have gamma which are your favorites back, then we have four that you could possibly be in the two of you. This is the plot to devotion a pasture takes a boxing after his wife. That sounds like a good one to God's cody's. Do you have anything better than that the four twenty movie Mary Jane with grand ideas of leaving the broken city? They grew up in two sisters, get roped into using their get rich or get rich idea to help their womanizing father saved the city. He loves from bankruptcy and at three foot tall Mexican drug. Lord. That's a great last phrase. I mean, putting it on the poll. Would you watch a movie that stars a three foot high drug Lord? I'd be the drug Lord. To pay for the deal. Make with the devil. That movies got so much potential. Really? I mean, with the exception of Daniel Baldwin's in it. Out here for none of us clean up very nicely around here. But you tend still groom yourselves using the tools from the good folks at dollarshaveclub better than we do look at that thing grown on on cody's face like, honestly, it looks. I mean, can you guys? "Make sure we take advantage of that and the way that we have made such strides in adopting such large percentages of renewable energy in our state is by that portfolio standard so last session by sponsored a bill we passed that bill ab to sex and then the governor vetoed it what that bill would have done was expand our renewable portfolio standard two fifty percent by twenty thirty and as a matter of fact the bill that i ended up passing was forty percent by twenty thirty as a compromise still was vetoed by the governor there was a lot of opposition from folks who are the biggest proponents of deregulation to adopting a higher standard for renewable energy in our state a lot of feel that by adopting the standard we will make it undesirable for companies that have access fossil fuel generation outside of our state to then come to our state and try to sell it to me and you i think that we have a long history of trying to encourage renewable energy in our state and that should take priority over the business interests of some out of state entities and jennifer taylor who is also with us today in studio jio for talking solutions jennifer and i have talked in the past and we don't have any fossil fuels in our state therefore if we import those it's nevada dollars going out to purchase it in the case of renewables however it's using available nevada resources and not sending our money out of state it seems to make sense that we'd like to keep all of that here in nevada i've always thought so and so of the tens of thousands of people that.

"Core of where this film takes off day i call you david hill so i'll see that's the characters name pastor david hill but david white i i've been teaching a college for years which has an empty chapel and nobody it gets used occasionally for a wedding or something like that but it was originally begun as a a disciples of christ church this is not uncommon to have these sort of formerly religious campuses now some formal connection but really god's not part of it it's just not an unusual situation so i think it's going to resonate with a lot of people how how long did it take to do this because you're at work a lot and this movie looks like i mean tatum o'neal and jennifer taylor in it and shane heart it's got a lot a lot of juice in this yeah no it's great you know we we actually bought shane opera back from come back from the first one because we're going back to college campus is well the lead girl is so often these days i think kids they go to the gospel college and all of a sudden they just you know hammered with this you know their whatever their faith was threatened and and and told the solution believe this way and and and then so you know this girl is gone through it she doesn't know if he's even real any more and and we've kind of time the church to like you know it's a church still relevant you know we've we've we one of her lines is she hears so much about what the churches again as opposed to what is for what is the search for and you know i it just it it it's an authentic organic piece that that really take it takes a look at these hard questions that i i think all of us asked in our own you know in different times of our lives so what what has happened to your life having played reverend dave i mean people must come up to you and call you reverend dave what's happened to you yeah i mean it's interesting you know 'cause obviously that the catch phrases got is good all the time and all the time.
