"Went Jennifer Rawson Bill Adams tomorrow morning, five thirty to nine AM on news talk. Eight fifty W MTO. All right. The Markley and van camp show. Jamie Markley that is David van camp. Can't wait to get the Craig's Keebler elves dream. That's just a couple of minutes with all the cold. There is a lot of concern with people that have heart conditions. So it turns out about half of us. Do that safe to say? Yeah. The American Heart Association. In part says that yes about half of American adults have some form of cardiovascular disease. Now, this is because they've also changed the definition of the condition. You know, they're defining this as coronary heart disease, heart failure, stroke or high blood pressure. But also the threshold for what it means to have heart disease or some kind of problem is lower a little bit. But the forty eight percent prevalence of cardiovascular disease in the United States. That's nearly almost one hundred twenty two million adults is a huge uptick over last year. Although this was again, mainly driven by the way. High blood pressure is defined hypertension guidelines were updated so people whose blood pressure was one thirty over eighty or above are now considered hypertensive before the definition was one forty over ninety. Okay. But that's I mean, that's disturbing. And we all know why? Right. We we eat light crap is a nation. Yeah. I mean and not enough exercise. It's all those things I met I was almost fearing that some song was gonna come up out of nowhere. I did not want that to happen..

"Family and tell them Karen said ya. South Florida morning show with Jennifer Rawson Bill Adam this morning, five thirty to nine AM on news talk. Eight fifty W F T L. It's Red Eye Radio. I'm Gary McNamara. Eight six six ninety redeye surprise show. Let's head to you. Let us go to Tim in Culpeper Virginia. About the partial shutdown and where we go from here. Tim, welcome. You're on Red Eye Radio. Welcome to the show. Hi, good morning. Dell's. My point is by the way. I I want to compliment you on this concept that we have to reach that ten or twenty million voters in the middle and just briefly, I would tell you I have been pushing that concept since December of. Seventeen with both gay brats campaign was Corey Stewart can Kuching Nellie and pretty much all the campaign manicures, totally ignore that concept. Well, my point is, you know, as you, and I imagine you felt I've talked about this that on they built a wall over his real the year before they had fifty five fifty six thousand crossover and a year after they got eleven. So I think if Trump could change the concept to talk numbers that unless I'm mistaken average number that sneaks across is about a million a year, but he would set the goal and talk about the goal of reducing it that homeland security plan will reduce it to a hundred thousand or ten thousand or fifty thousand a year. And then throw that in the face of the democrat. What do you have that will reduce it to ten thousand fifty thousand a year? Well, and I think Tim the the idea you can you can talk those numbers the president has talked numbers. But the at the end of the day, it isn't about the money. It's not about the wall. It's about the fact that he's president. I mean, they want to block him at every move. If this were some of the president, they they, you know, but it yeah. If you're talking about overall the comprehensive selling of ADM overlong prototype. Yeah. That's a part if you're yes. But but to the Democrats appealing to the Democrats know now what I would agree is just say, okay, great. You know, what I wanna do? Give me your idea war border control. Right. Look the goal is always in politics of the United States right now where we are is that you come across as the sane and normal one and your solution are critical thinking solutions, and they're insane. That's how you have to do it in this day and age here's your forecast.

"South Florida morning show with Jennifer Rawson. News talk, eight fifty. I believe it is in the best interests of everyone, the president congress and the American people did this matter be resolved by lowering the special counsel to complete his work. Okay. Granted not the most exciting thing in the world and not the most exciting sounding guy, but William bar taking the stand yesterday and his confirmation hearing for attorney general sounds pretty solid to me, John. I dunno for a second term attorney general. He was Bush's attorney general. So it's like, okay, let's bring it back for a second run. I live in the city wasn't going to be influenced either by the president press by any member of congress by anybody on the outside. And then what struck me the biggest point that he made yesterday with somebody asked him about the fake news. And all the crap that spreading that was pretty amazing. Yeah. Should any of these people will be punished? And he was like, yeah. You know, what we need to look at stuff like that? I was like, wow. That's the first time. I've ever heard anybody say that but bias and social media. Yeah. It's like linked into the fake news and everything. Yeah. So it was I don't know. We'll see they're trying. Trying to paint him as a Trump flunky. Well, you're just going to do everything he says doesn't sound like it to me. Not at all. It sounds just the opposite. Actually should be interesting to see. But yeah, it's it's not the most riveting of testimony to watch. It's really not. I get that. It's that important. But it's pretty all right? Just up to each of the meantime, while Karen was doing the news break. I was getting update on this in the other room on the caravan. It's forming right now expected to reach our border the southern border with ten thousand plus people right now, it's a two thousand and ready for this. It's an a town called Agua Kellyanne t- Honduras. Does that not mean hot water hot water hot water for whoever's organized, and this and this started with about twenty five people, and they're already up to two thousand and they say once they reach the ten could possibly even reach fifteen thousand that they are more or less going to run across the border when they get here in mass. I don't know who's organizing this because you know, somebody is or somebody's organizing at funding it it's going to backfire the last one did. But worse it's going to prove Trump's point that we need the wall. Especially while especially if they get to a point like, you know, where they were was it the Rio ground that where they were just running across the right? It's like, okay. Let's put him over there. I it's how these caravans get so large is beyond me. People. It's like a recruitment mission yesterday. It was literally a handful of people two days ago. Now, it's up to two thousand and they're saying at least seven to ten thousand by the time, they get how many people ten thousand people as a lot of people storming the border and then funneling to the points where there's no fence. Where they are going to go. Here's your proof build the wall. Build the wall day twenty-six partial government shutdown continues. But the IRS is going to have people. That's a good news. They they brought her. They told a bunch of people you're gonna show up because these tax returns are going to start hitting like it on February first you better be here. They say eighteen million tax taxes are filed within the first three days off eighteen million. And that's a big concern. But there's not going to bring bring an extra people to do audits. Which is great news. That's really good. If all the new hires or the the people that they're bringing in for special work, which is for. It's. Bad PR, go. Oh my God. No. So hopefully, no one will be audited and you'll get your refund back as soon as possible. So we still see hope so we can only hope, but I don't know. I don't know. Did you see this district, by the way as we sit here and look at computers, okay? In in your view right now. How many screens are there four look up? Well, those those, but I was looking down. Okay. Get three TV's or get our cell phones. We got computer screens in front of us. They say, but if you lived an average of two seventy eight years old, you'll spend half of your almost half of your lifetime. Looking at a screen some form of screen sounds about right? But if not more a TV screen the screen in your car, if you got like, you know, one of those displays your laptop, your your tablet, your cell phone, whatever the case, I'm like, oh my God. Forty seven percent of your time will be spent looking at a screen sounds about. Right. And that's for people like us. Can you? Imagine her kids just their whole life ninety five percent of lives. You know what? Carolina just got a new job in phones are allowed. I'm thinking, you're going to have a milk. You're going to. Got to start to shake. She is. I bet you betcha. There is such a thing as cellphone withdrawal. There's gotta be. Oh, absolutely. I've seen it. It's like, oh, yeah. Oh, it's Cal. Okay. I really feel this really truly bothers me maybe more than it actually should. But I, you know, we always say the lunatic lefties are killing comedy kill the Oscars. Well, Kevin Hart. Now, they can't find a host if they can get to family guy and get them to kind of curb what they do..

Eight six six ninety redeye I wanted to get to this year because this was op Ed piece by Senator Mark Warner. Okay. This suggests so bogus. Here's how you make a deal. Mr President advice from one businessman turned politician to another. Okay. This is the democrat Senator Mark mortar. Yeah. In the Wall Street Journal. Yes, Donald Trump ran for president telling a story of business prowess, the author of the art of the deal would come to Washington and solve the problems that politicians could two years later, the longest government shutdown record is revealing gaping holes in his facade like the president. I've spent more time in business and in politics, and it was about twenty years in executive investor did very well. Governor and Senator I relied on my business experience to get things done every day the shutdown drags on. It becomes clear. The president. Never learned lessons of successful, executives know by heart. Right. Here's his first one. And here's where you can stop. You don't need to go. Any further in the op-ed piece. Always try to find a solution in which both sides come out ahead. Mr. Trump has refused to compromise or negotiate. Sorry. He just lost me. Just lost you right there. All your credibility is gone because that's absolutely false. Lately. False. I would say Senator Warner one of the first things in business is the first point that you make when you talk about negotiating should not be ally. Right. Well, the president has has opened up a number of possibilities. First of all we need to point out that right now, he's not even asking for twenty five billion, right? You and I wanted that how many times? Version was twenty five billion us ask him for five. That's an go shooting tactic. He's not asking for everything. Right. "Show with Jennifer Rawson Bill Adams, tomorrow morning, five thirty to nine AM on news talk eight fifty W F T L. All right. The Barclay invade camp show. Thanks so much for being here. Jamie Markley that's David van camp. I did not know that North Korea was back in the news. Oh, it is. Okay. Is it ever not really back in the news? I guess it's always there. But it goes to the fact bird or whatever it's convenient because there's other pressing issues. President Trump said yesterday that the US is negotiating a location for a second summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong the chubby little nutjob in North Korea. Trump says he's spoken to him indirectly so through some proxies. Of course. So was reported last week that the US has been looking for sites for the second summit Trump. I met came in king. Trump. I met Kim in Singapore. Uh-huh. Last year, of course for the historic and unprecedented meeting. I don't know this. This winds up, you know, after the New Year's address from the chubby little nutjob. And now there's just kind of does feel like recycling the old news because now anytime this is brought up there's the. Out of the blue take that somehow Donald Trump gave out everything gave up everything John and Kim Jong and played them like a cheap federal. Yeah. I mean that wasn't true. And it was like the original was okay. Yeah. I mean it wasn't critically acclaimed, but it was certainly an enjoyable watch. But this sequel, I'm really not interested. This is like, okay, we've been down there. I just want to see results. Are you saying now that this is like rush hour two maybe? Yeah. For the die hards. There might be something there. But, you know, fair weather fans like myself bright, let me know if there's some great scenes in it. Okay. Okay. All right up to date. Daddy, just.

"Morning show with Jennifer Rawson Bill Adam this morning, five thirty to nine AM on NewsTalk eight fifty W F T L. It's Red Eye Radio. He's her curling. I'm Gary McNamara. Let's go to Allan Graf Allen in Grafton, Iowa. Alan, welcome. You're on Red Eye Radio. Welcome to the show. Well, thank you, Gary. You daily just terrific for. Bob, simple, common sense. Thanks. Sad for our country. You to talk so hard for it. And YouTube or on the radio will thank you very much. You say that. I'm talking about what Chuck Schumer said today. Yes. Yes. You said you had something that will pass the Senate and the house if the president will take it. I don't even get what named Gary has to me. That's putting the cart the horse Chuck. Something that will pass the Senate and the house. Well, go get it passed Chuck president and decide if it's good for America and America's children it. Good. Yeah. He was it was referring to something in terms of the the spending Bill. It really isn't the it's because it has it has the one point five one point six billion in it, which is basically border patrol or border control budget to begin with. So he knows he was he was trying to divert away from the topic essentially, which is another tactic by the left. They'll change the topic. It was two different things. Those are two different things that they were promoted my calls kind of opera singer. Yeah. Sure. Pass pass. Then. Aside can decide if it's good enough for America in the America's children sign it, right? You'll be toward you. But the thing is the thing is just can't get past because he's not in power in the Senate. Not the problem bring it to a vote. He can't do those things and he can't get started. Although his friend Nancy can in the house has January. Yeah. He was just what he was standing is. They can they look if they if they put the one point six billion dollars spending Bill in he could he could get what are you saying you can get enough Democrats? He can get enough Democrats in not he, but he and Nancy closing up Democrats to cross over were they could get that passed easily. What they were trying to say is we just want to get the spending Bill done irrespective of how much money it is an irrespective of whether it it it it it has any money for a border wall. We just were talking about just not causing the government, and you're talking about not closing the government. If you don't get a wall, right? We're on you know, they were talking about two different things and his point was no unless we have ordered security. Which I believe is the wall or at least five billion for the wall. Nope. Right. And and it's you know, again that scenario is not going to change anytime soon. We were talking during the pre show meeting, Gary, and I said and we've talked about in recent days. I don't put a pass the president to to go right ahead with the shutdown. Now, the problem with that on the other side is that eventually president is going to have to bring back. You know, he's going to have to get the government opened again. But that will be on him he'll have to sign what's in front of in order to do that. So we'll see where that goes. I fully suspect that the Democrats in January will put together exactly what they what the Democrats have been talking about. And that is the spending Bill that has the one point six hundred and they'll be done. There's. There's nothing the president is going to give them to change. There is no. There's no position by the president that will act as a quid pro quo in this case, he wants the wall. The five billion. They don't they're not gonna cough that up. That's that's not gonna change. There's there's no middle ground. There. Look Schumer's were wrong. Schumer's ready made it known you're not getting one dollar pass one point six billion NOK headset. Nobody's gonna vote in the Senate for so president goes through with the shutdown which I you know, I would expect him to do. I don't know if he will do that by the president's executive will presidents do anything if they can't if the house can't agree in the Senate candidate greet. Then it just shuts down the president's not even involved in. It doesn't even get to that point. It would only get to that point of view shutdown if they passed it the president veto. Yeah. That's that's my point is that he'll be fuller respond, and he doesn't have a problem as you heard him today. Now, he's proud. He's use the word proud proud supporter shut down here. But the problem is is that at some point he would have to reopen the government and only he could do that. So that's going to be on him. So politically that's not going to work for him. So I don't know again, what the play would be because there is no there's nothing that he would give or be able to give the Democrats to concede. I just can't imagine what. Because they would be asking for it right now. Well, this is what we want. If you want your five billion, we want this. We and that would be news unlimited Dr. Yeah. Right. We want we want we want that we want all we want amnesty, right amnesty with citizenship. Eventually, and and you know, I mean, they would be you would you would hear them saying that which is interesting because of the way we've been positioning this against the Democrats for a long time for the first, you know, hour and a half of this program this morning talking about how they don't they don't promote what they want. It would be hard for them. To also come out and promote. I think back as a you know, is is given because they they've had no problem and promoting. But eventually they want citizenship for amnesty. And it's going to be hard right now. To say amnesty. If you're on the left. You know, there was a time. I mean going back to McCain Kennedy that wasn't going to happen at that time. But there was a time when you could get Republicans on board for some type of amnesty deal. But there was a a set of certain markers and elements in that in order to get to know, the amnesty, and and maybe permanent legal status of not. But you you make a great point. There is no negotiating point here. Right. There's no middle ground there. It's it's no we're not gonna give you over one point six billion. Well, I want five billion are shut down the government. Yeah. They're not gonna come back with two. They're not gonna come back with one point seven and the Democrats are gonna say fine. You're going to get the blame. Right. Look Nancy Pelosi made a political point not a point of sub stress because the point of substances will know the Republicans aren't in control because they would need those ten votes in in in the Senate. But she said you're going to get to blame because you have the presidency you have the house and you had the Senate right now. And you get the blame. Right..

Eight six six ninety redeye but as a John Solomon rights to finish us off here about the the Clinton foundation as as he wrote he said, I've esta half dozen former federal investigators to review the submission and key evidence also said the firm's analysis of taxes on compliance issues would not be that useful federal agencies that have their own legal experts for that. "Dot com. Florida morning show with Jennifer Rawson. News talk eight fifty F T L. But I'm the only guy that can credibly say I'm not under investigation for corruption by the FBI. Rhonda Santa's onstage with the president last night. And south west Florida demand. You would like to become Florida's next governor and the lady who would like to become Florida's next Lieutenant governor on the line with us Janette Nunez. You had to be by the side listening to that line from your partner, your running mate and say, you know, what that's a great line. Good morning. Thanks for being here. Good morning Bill. Thank you for having me. It's it's nice to have the support of the president to to support your ticket. It's such a such an important rallying area of southwest billion tire status is is important. But have that kind of support that has to has to kind of put a little jump in your step for the rest of the campaign. Absolutely. And if you would have been there, you would drive in thousands of people thousands of people waiting in line, the people that were inside the arena. I mean, it really was up lifting and we had just a great time. And I had an opportunity to address the crowd, and I tell you they were pumped and when the president got on there and when Rhonda. They were they were really excited. I bet you could tell that just from the audio from listening to that this morning. It was a new poll and off you saw this out from Reuters Ipsos university of Virginia combined poll, if you believe in the polls, and I think we we learned at twenty sixty Ginette that they're they're not to rely -able, actually. But they have Gillam ahead by five points on average in this one. I will tell you though, I'm not a big believer in polls. I think I think I learned that lesson in two thousand sixteen I believe in what I hear on the street at I believe uncertain little telltale things like, oh, I don't know Google searches. If you go right now, you're aware of this you Google genetics. You're the first name pops up to me, that's a much more solid indicator than any methodology a poll. There's a lot of interest in your campaign. Well, I'm glad to hear that. I haven't googled myself. Not that you would agree with you. Yeah. I agree with you. I think that the enthusiasm the momentum shifts in the campaign. I think accurate debates once Andrew was pressed on some of his ethical lapses in his corruption. Yet. The I investigation I think voters started to pay attention and really start to investigate us to who is Andrew gillum. Why would they want to hand over the keys to our great state for someone that doesn't have a proven track record that has done nothing to keep the city safe? That really has a lot of unanswered questions that that Lord knows what's going to happen. Once you know, once the investigation is concluded, and so I think voters are really concerned about that voters want a candidate that's gonna protect their economy. Make sure that our economy continues to grow. They don't want them on it's going to raise taxes forty percent. That's going to be detrimental to every Floridian. My partner Nigerian she's off today. But we've we've asked this question now, we're going on like maybe three weeks. Why the newness campaign is Harpring so hard on the Broadway tickets scandal deal, whatever it is much more. So than taxes, you may get a completely different read on it on, you know, the people you talk about your hitting the streets every day. But I would just imagine that will you tell people first of all that they're going to raise your taxes and possibly push to get rid of a state income tax or to to institute that is more of an impact. But how come the main focus is on the ticket scandal? Well, I would say the main focus is on the ticket scandal. I think we do press YouTube because I think as I mentioned every single will be impacted by forty percents tax increase off of you look at his very left wing liberal Pakistan plan, you're going to have to like, you said institute from tax, and that's something that you can imagine would make us very very very unattractive businesses looking to relocate here very unattractive to current businesses. You're going to really create a system of widespread panic in unemployment, but as it relates to the ticket the Hamilton tickets we've worked on that. Because it's important. The next governor is someone that has ethics that has standard, but has values and certainly if you download the scores of documents that have been released the text messages between mayor Gillam, and the lobbyists and the FBI undercover agent who was posing as a developer. And you look at not just the ticket. It wasn't one related incident where he could claim that he thought his brother paid for or whatnot voters are smarter than that. It's the ongoing pay to play the Costa Rican junket or luxury villa that he finally that he had a four hundred dollar ATM withdrawals. That was enough and suffice to pay for his trip. Voice where the lobbyists scratched out his portion of that trip, and it said whole, and so he was never charged. He never paid. And so his continuous lack of ethics and the way he handles his interactions with people looking at you the city of CIA hockey while he was mayor, and then he turned around and gave those developers that lobbies two million dollars be able to build a restaurant in half. So I think it's important that quotas next seminar is someone that's sort of how to the highest ethical standards, and that's what they have in Rhonda dances. Florida state rep. And Lieutenant governor candidates Ginette nudie is on the line with us. I appreciate your time. Again. I know you're busy and you've got a rally coming up again. Today from here on out, you're going to be busy. But I'm wondering if you had a chance to hear this James O'Keefe has Project Veritas where there's a lot of undercover videos, this one just launched last night. If you've seen it there's a top ranking as he's being reported, and describes Gillam staffer Omar Smith who is calling our state calling Florida. This is his his words a cracker state. I don't know if you've seen that inside the campaign any reaction to that. I haven't seen that. And you know, it we're just we're just a call with the tone that Andrew Gillerman. He and his poker are really trying to infiltrate into this campaign. You know, said it before I've said it before we're focused on right versus wrong, not talk for since white. It's not about race. It's not about color. This is about who is the best qualified candidate to lead for the next generation to make sure we protect your and the folks that are lifting have a big part to play. So we're asking all of our voters make sure that they have gone to vote early if they haven't they have ballots at home, but they plead because there's a large percentage, particularly in the Palm Beach area of folks still have their absentee ballots, and we wouldn't want your voice your vote not to count just because you sat on your ballot. Or you didn't have time to go. There's plenty of opportunity to vote early, but we're focused on the issues. We're not focused on all of the other stuff that Andrew gallon has tried to make this race about because we know what this election is about is Florida's future. Well, looks like you got on the schedule today. Meet and greet coming up in key Largo. So no, you're busy Ginette New Year's the Santa's Nunez ticket. I appreciate your time. Very much and your honesty on the issues. And hopefully, we'll talk to you again soon. Hopefully, great. Thank you so much. It's a pleasure. You gotta take care now. "South Florida morning show with Jennifer Rawson Bill at this morning, five thirty to nine AM on NewsTalk eight fifty W F T L. It's Red Eye Radio is Eric Harley, and I'm Gary McNamara, eight six six ninety redeye but overall I mean, if if if you're to look at a mid term, the Republicans are still on a to me, I mean, this is only my opinion, the Republicans still with what we brought up as the negatives that they go in to this midterm with still the positives. Overweigh the negatives. And I have not seen a party going as strongly on the the number of of issues of concerns to Americans that are dominating their their mindset as the Republicans are right now, I still think the Republicans go in stronger to amid term when a party that has, you know, the the both branches of the legislature and the executive branch usually lose quite a few seats. They use lose. Moderate to quite a few seats. I still think they're going in a lot stronger than most parties do into a mid term when they normally would lose seats. And it looks like that, you know, there's still a ton of tossups what it's two oh, five two hundred and thirty toss up still tool five for the democrat right now and thirty toss ups in in the house. And then it's it's the the Senate is all I think everybody agrees. This sudden it's gone for the great. There's no hope I don't think or.

"Government employees when she was still working in the private sector and working for hillary clinton at the state department it's like it's fascinating how politicians and i'm not gonna just say democrats because i'm sure we'll gonna find out a bunch of republicans doing this as well how they can circumvent all of the rules by manipulating the environment and we apparently aren't even put out by when we find out so it's gonna be fascinating this has been one of the more fascinating studies i think what has happened he may not be able to drain the swamp but he certainly has shine the light on the swamp and a lot of these swamp creatures are being exposed and it is marvelous it really is i mean it's sad that we're in the position wherein we're uncovering the things that we're uncovering but that shows you how this system really works when it is working at its optimal we will be unable to hide really agree just behavior by government officials you're gonna find out of eventually and certainly if nothing else comes of the trump presidency now i believe we already had some great benefits what will be a lasting legacy is the fact that the swamp may not be drained but it's certainly gasping right now and as well it should be so yeah stick with me we've got lots more to talk about i want to talk a little bit of about this this race for the for the senate seat of bill nelson between rick scott who the first month is coming to a close and oh boy i'll tell you some of the money that we've already seen being poured into these races on both sides is going to make this the most expensive senate race of start your morning with same boring routine listen to the south florida morning show jennifer rawson bill adams for.
