"A prayer your in the desert. I jennifer kennedy teen the lord. Your god has blessed you and everything you have done. He is watched her every step through this great during these forty years the lord your god has been with you. In you have lacked nothing deuteronomy two seven as we see in this verse. God shows us who he is by what he does. We see his promises worked out in the lives of his people and now the same god is working in our lives when we are in the middle of a desert track. God's hands seems absent blinded as we are by the glaring circumstances but when we emerge from not leg of the journey we can look back and see that god has watched over our every step. The journey was hard and went on longer than we thought we could bear. But here we stand all the way through the desert just when we thought we couldn't last another day god's mercy meta's in some observable way a kind word an unexpected provisions or a chance encounter. The assurance of his presence always came. The desert has things to teach us. We learn things there that we can't learn anywhere else. We see the careful provision of our father a different light. His love stands out in stark relief. Against the background of the deserts barren landscape in the wilderness. We come to the end of ourselves. We learn in new and deeper ways to cling to him and wait for him when we come out of the desert the desert lessons. Stay with us. We take them with us into the next stretch. We remember the god who led us through the desert and we know that he is with us still desert times are fruitful times though they seem barren lush fruit is being produced in our lives when we walked through the desert. The lord will sanctify your desert times and make them to be fruitful in your life. Why dear lord. I know that wherever i am. You are with me guiding protecting providing you make a mountain into away. He makes streams flow in the desert. You cause a route to grow out of dry grounds. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see you work when all hope seems lost in jesus name

"Organized. No one from the peaceful march acted up they all matter nowhere hedge tear-gas shot into the crowd and they all ran. That's win. It was all of a sudden being violent in instigated. It was presented as being instigated by the by the peaceful protests and. Try Your mornings in the. Thing happened in Charlotte with the Keith. Lamont stop well approach to your point senator that that may be. The context matters so thank you for that perspective. Because we're far removed I knew that was true, but now we're some of the details, but it's to your at that might be what. Respectability politics thing that might be why they're making the roads they have is because they were peaceful, but it's interesting. Violence happens against black people, and we're the only ones to route. We're the only ones expected to remain nonviolent. We're the only ones to be nonviolent, but we're. We're almost out of time. I got. A few more minutes, but I do want to ask a question. Of everyone here in and I want Jennifer Kennedy, to start, because you're the only white person on on the on the posted, I invited on. That's not a host How how do we? How can how can anti-racist allies help with? People's pain and this is where you around. These are the pool this pool you swim in Jennifer. So how can anti-racist alleys allies no allies? Keila, allies I'm keeping it together for how much I've been drinking. Okay, how can how can you all? Help with black people. Stay through all this right now. That's an interesting questions. Something that I've really been trying to navigate in the space is one not making it about me in trying to figure out how I can best be used in this time, and so one of the things because social media is so heavily trafficked at this point with us all being home, and all being online one of the things that I'm trying to figure out navigate is what is my presence like mine? So how can I be Voice of Truth and speaking truth to? White folks essentially getting my people that how can I do that in a way that honors black people pain in does not promote because one of the biggest things that I'm struggling with. Is this thing that we're calling black trauma porn, so this need for white people to see black pain to believe it this need for white people to seem less pain in black trauma to become motivated. Motivated so I'm really trying to figure out in the space. How can I and my friend? My should T. she She's at check your privilege. She has this great post in. She says three points one ill. This negatively impact, the mental health of Black Brown indigenous. API folks to why am I sharing this? What's in it for me three? How do I grieve and so there's a? A lot to that, but for me right now, particularly in light of this recent situation. I've had a lot of opportunities to go into the DM's to talk to people to engage them, and so like my heavy lifting is dealing with the white man sense might heavy lifting is having the one on one conversations. My heavy lifting is getting in and saying you know like note cedric you. You don't have to deal with this bullshit. You don't have to have this conversation if you don't want to. I'll deal with this person in this moment and have this conversation and spend hours. You know trying to educate people in connect them to resources and point them toward lack educators, other people of Color. Were educators so I've kind of forgotten your question because you know I have. No just wondering what wondering how you can be, and the gadget is distinctly, but obviously since I don't want to center whiteness, the at the end of the show here I want to ask the others on this show, obviously a Gen Kenney has stepped into the spaces other people. That look like her who have stepped into those spaces I would say that Stephen Kent by being even host on this show that consistently talks about outracing raise issues have stepped into those space. If you've noticed they've been silent, almost the whole episode which has been, it's been great I. Love You. Guys were great. Friends because you're silent because you know when to stop and listen, but I would. I would love to hear from the other panelists that I've invited on. What would your advice be to people who are stepping in who don't look like us? who were trying to speak up for us? What would your thoughts we? Got Something. Go ahead Anthony. I mean let's let's go off. What let's go off. What history has been? You know usually when black people when when US as a group. When we complain about something, you know I I can only imagine that you know the modern average white guy or white woman is light well. They always complain about that. No what's next on the news? But usually when you see someone like you know a Jennifer Kenny or you know even a Taylor swift or somebody who is a celebrity. Mainly in that world, stepping up and standing for a standard.

"To be a banner year best wishes to the class of two thousand and twenty one so falcon always a falcon thank you Jennifer Kennedy I'm sure that shout out I will doing throughout the broadcast really through the first two weeks of June on Wednesdays I tried for them in during the week between three and six PM leave them easiest ways that he would show on Twitter that he would show on Facebook and also you can opt in on the huge text chain it's free and you don't get cross with bounce backs ansys text the word huge of the twenty one thousand that's were huge at a two one zero zero zero an ideal market with executive director myself had a couple weeks ago when the seasons or cancel that I wanted to take our Wednesday broadcast and featured coaches then we get into maybe some student athletes and their perspective on losing the season losing a championship run not walking for graduation and the impact that this fight against the corona viruses had on so many families so many coaches so many teams throughout Michigan and we want to get that feedback from the coaches and players in a moment we're gonna welcome and Dorene Ingalls head basketball coach at St Agnes high school there in the U. P. the girls basketball program is as good as any in the state if you get these kids who have worked and now it goes back to the planet team a we mention someone at eight that these girls and Riverview I played softball together and they put so much into it but I will say for those seniors and what they've learned here that because they didn't play they'll they'll be a special memory here that they'll take with them forever that was cut short but twenty years from now not everybody will be remembered as a state champion maybe conference not everybody's Cup champ but don't worry be remembered for the sacrifice we've all made sacrifices I don't care who you are how rich you are how poor you are where you live rural big city to look at the tri metro with third dealing with what they've dealt with compare downstate Detroit that sacrifices your family business maybe the family business opens back up you have to go help your mom and dad keep the business going to maybe some of those teammates will step up and help to there are so many life lessons I know I'll be a better father as we had all this you have to do those things for your children there is there's there's no club coaches there's no high school coaches there's no teachers I know the teachers are trying the online thing but good luck with that I have more Xbox is right now on the blacklist but I do the huge show Facebook page I appreciate my job Keith guy the head basketball coach at Michigan high school so the best then we appreciate the little things get your hair cut yeah hi Stanton and watching your kids when you used to thank all gosh we got a game all the way in Washington township I gotta drive there and back to watch one game where they played two the football games on I got a lot of sense and now I can't wait to sit there when I watch my kids play their next fourteen event there will be one of the biggest moments in my life to be tough not to cry.

"The Rangers critical home and home with the Philadelphia flyers on the road Friday night they'll play the fire Sunday in a nationally televised game at noon they want to keep those good vibes going five unanswered goals taken down the Montreal Canadiens we didn't tool the plow spot the idea of the range is now we go in there when a post season becoming more more believable when he's passing day let's admit back alley without valley Hey good morning hi Alan how are you good thanks just one thank you point that out Yankee pitching and the injury first the pitching I know you were talking about yesterday night yeah I think you nailed it yesterday I like to see them try to use it do you see these kids and see what they have in these kids I don't want to see like them pick up somebody off the scrap heap like Matt Harvey or like one of these guys that the last cycle but colds or somebody I really want to see what these kids are right give change give us should give one of these kids a chance and I think Jordan marked only a year removed from Tommy John is going to have a really good season I don't now how do you have anything to worry about that the Yankees are going to give one of the young starters a chance to be the fifth guy I think Jordan Montgomery will be number four and dad cavalcade of keying Schmidt lives ago Garcia one of those guys going to be a fifth starter yeah so and in addition to that don't don't the injury bug especially with Giancarlo Stanton they hired an entire new training staff the question I have is these guys you see like their Instagram accounts and other other social media accounts a few pictures of them and videos of them working out at their own private facilities wherever they go you know we're really decide to go what does a flavor of the of the off season is child Yankee training staff match with what these guys are doing late in their off season preparation because I want to see like if if there is a continuity like what difference does it make if they hired an entire new training staff if these guys are training with these private facilities and doing something that's not going to benefit them yeah I'll yeah I can't really speak on what their routines are and what kind of communication they have but I have to assume the team those Richie's guys are going to be doing I have to assume that the Yankees revamped their entire training staff from last year thinking that maybe would sell some of the injury problems well so far at least it is our I said to run kinda Eric is up next to it's all very that was a good quality J. jail like that okay couple things real quick the other might be some real credence that your report but Tom Brady but until I see a press conference on that with them holding another you know formal believe I want to see it okay as far as the Severino I I've heard over the last few days there is some people call them wondering why you know they didn't find this care initially on their end speaking as someone who's had you know with my my last go around with the shoulder on there I actually had an MRI into cortisone shots in there and they still couldn't figure out what the problem was and then they decide to do the dying junction on there with the MRI so I know the you know because the other day I don't know I can't speak for Severino but that stuff made me sick if the wood so it's not exactly the the the first option on a lot of doctors list so yeah they they could very well yeah a lot has been made Eric of the timing with the Yankees not figuring out why Severino exactly didn't need Tommy John right after the end of the year look I want to change anything for twenty twenty if they found out it together here if they found out in February he wasn't pitching now it would hurt fall more next year will you could have gotten Severino maybe full systems go by the start of the year if he has that surgery in October or November bloodwork to twenty twenty season doesn't matter the care is the care is the care and you know it kills a guy like Severino who I'm sure always dying to get back on the mound after not pitching for a good chunk of last year yeah it is and you know honestly even even in October if they had done it this way they might not have seen it you know because you know he he still doesn't work after the fact that was developed afterwards so they still might not have seen it back in October you know to the point of saying he needs Tommy John so it's hard to say the it is hard I don't generally tend to be a doctor listen that's where things get you know above and beyond out of my comfort zone when I am giving medical advice it is when I'm no longer on this radio station beat on the allied somethings are obvious listen if they found a chair within Louis Severino is all on you will like this surgery three or four months earlier but I'm worried about the Yankees in twenty twenty that's my focus right now twenty one AM this team going to winning a championship and losing him as well I mean there's no going around that we're talking about a guy talent wise who is one of the most talented pitchers in the American week I know someone believe me but seventeen eighteen would back that up now you don't have the services of a guy like seventy the good news for them though Eric they got so many different ways to be in and out so many different answers they can survive the loss to separate all and they could survive the loss to John Carl is that yeah it is and that's what the the model was if if it was the last year before they were using that next man up you know Montreal last year that was the M. all yeah he's still down yeah how will we can J. Jack broke the call as always and you hope that the rash of injuries not going to be as severe as it was it is a team that's prepared for how to go to season listen this guy Mister Aguilar is the New York Yankees to Jersey city Eric is up next these are the families out back what a great day how are you and good morning what's going on reporter generators these kids are unbelievable to watch they gotten quite and they're right there to point out your door one Christy give on a bench in the ride the kids all I did Catholic corgi has played I mean he's been terrific and it looks like he's going to play Friday night and I thought you might see a hanky met Friday because you're playing the second game of a back to back because remember the Rangers are in Philadelphia Friday night then the goal in an eight point twelve o'clock game on Sunday if the Rangers find the where to win on Friday night I wonder if they would try to get Hank in that now they lose Friday night they may be far more desperate they may say we got a ride to goaltender that's carried us these last two weeks in court you have and all of a sudden he plays but you gotta dig right you are going to get one because the net absolutely you've got a plan I think I have five games in the next week next seven days you gotta play one game and if the Rangers are deployed all's JJ disco G. you may bid coach of the year with this young group listen that's not our agencies done a wonderful job but this schedule for the feel good Rangers is about to take a turn they have this home and home coming up with Philadelphia then they take on the St Louis blues and I believe that game will be either on Tuesday or Wednesday yes Wednesday March the fourth now take that back they put the capitals on the fifth when I put a boss Tuesday yeah let's get right I know I saw that the blues a plan arranges the got schedule from the edges of the server was Tuesday Wednesday cell fires flyers blues capitals every point is so crucial but the fact that you were talking about this team that should be in the middle of a full tilt rebuild second year into it and on the verge of potentially making the playoffs this year for more Bork remarkable every which way and the team that shares a building with the New York Rangers do you think the blockers they should be taking notes we are as a company this guy do it do the right way the Yankees were able to do it the right way the Rangers decision almost certainly doing it the right way it's been a fun week it's been good to be back for one five shows Mike freedman outstanding work on the other side of the guys you guys were outstanding we calls you got the woman show that's coming up at around five forty or so then it will be bloomer angeal Friday show I'm back Monday morning at two AM it's now off to Jennifer Kennedy airport was big bus flight call Leah thank heavens let's make it up to Syracuse enjoy your weekend may I say because everybody how.

"Killers after close down the bridges of Manhattan and trap them on the islands and they've got until five. Am to find them. Where at that point? Bridges opened again the Manhattan's huge. It's very big. Yes so how are they gonNA do. That helps a little bit. But surely that doesn't exactly the increase your chances exponentially so they still got a lot of you know. They've got a lot of ground to cover. But he's he's the thing is he's a very good cop jeff. The Cop knows what he's doing Chadwick Bozeman plays in with a really steely intensity. Because he's you know he's one of the best in the business teams up with Sienna Miller who I to be honest. I didn't even recognize until about halfway through the film. She's got this amazing New York accent. I mean they've they're all like you know I'm walking here at all a bit of good cop she off which now you're exactly I got the FBI FBI at my ass blood you know why guy. So that's the basic premise. And it's essentially chase movie Through the streets of New York all all all through this one evening It's going to be of It feels a bit John Frankenheimer bit Michael Mind Bits Grace Yes And in that sense also feels a bit like something we've seen before a few times I think it's it is quite generic places Isis I don't know exactly what Jeff Good cops character is other than he's a good cop you oop. He's not the most interesting character but there are some. I really enjoyed it. I thought really well made gripping Really slickly directed action movie. There's murder could action in It's directed by Brian. Kirk who this is his first phone. He's he's done a lot of. TV'S MON so a lot of prestige. TV Background I. It's just a good time in the movies. I aw that's just a good time movies Hopefully hopefully have them printed all the posters yet. I hope it gets on there. It's just a good time of the movies Sean. NUGENT empire podcast. What I mean by that is is like it's one of those films that wouldn't sometimes you just want a couple of hours of just you can switch off all the time? You can have fun on you. Don't think about anything else you ain't ever think about this film ever again really is not going to stay in your memory very long. But it's a good time at the movies I'm excited about it and You have sold me even more I would have seen. This movie had not been slowly dying and likewise frozen to miss the frozen to premier. He believed that tickets. I'M GONNA take. My wife is a massive frozen fan that when the reindeer the reindeer no brainer at the no other premier yeah owner of the Primera Co two moments talking rain there were reindeer okay. Bro Actual Living Reindeer. They would disappointing me small. Okay but Mussa loosened they bought a moose. Then frankly the whole code fucked be if i South Mike. It's still the whole of lessons towered over the nine like the silver surfer in fantastic four rise of how we go. Somebody remembers it hot fact they did the press junket for testing for the silver surfer. NFL on the London. I- I- Tim Story. On the London hotter fact A regular basis of the show may know Helen. I live near Greenwich and The Royal Never College in Greenwich Tends to attract an awful lot of of movie and TV business on Mir a MIMEA. Am Yeah me Mir. MIRA was shot. Their Parts Caribbean Australia. Times was shot their homes and want some was shot there. Pennyworth Shaw there for a whole lot comes as well. Sherlock Holmes Hopes Enola homes recently. Put up a massive big center. Currently it is home to crew Ella. And I'm going to tell you exactly where obviously but on this Sunday any crew l.. It will be shooting. Oh my street I never had before you saw. I'm taking my just pop out have been big old chat with Emma Stone get the exclusive Loucif and then just go home and have a Sunday roast. They were also shooting near me in Deptford this week as well following us we are very attractive people people and we are very attractive people whose whose on squad fairly coughing a lot. That's very attractive person. Who's Ray Stars designed for twenty one bridges and next up? We have blue story. Yes please story this. This is a London sets film from correct Called wrap man So you may know right man from his youtube videos he he got I think ten million views for his series called Cold Shivers Story. And this is sort of an extension of that is a continuation of that theme instantly. Sort of You know London. Gangland story told partly sleep through rap so He Batman himself directs but he also appears in the film sort of speaking to camera almost Minnesota Shakespearian device just wrapping the narration Which I'm not sure I? It didn't quite work for me as a as a device I thought it was a little bit clumsy at times but I appreciate it what he was going for And then the story is about these. These two friends who grew up in south London And they you know gang surrounding them and they're trying to avoid it but that the system and the the the environment they grew up in means it's almost impossible to avoid And so it's really really important and interesting and very authentic story and it's kind of a side of London that you don't see very often if feels really unique can often get London shown in a Rom. com sterilize Hollywood's friendly version. This is much more real feels. Very genuine is really very interesting. is seeing this part of south London quite well. There's a scene shot outside pet complex my favorite cinema London. But it's all about these sort of the rival gangs exp set in between Peckham Deptford in how people just can't step into certain post codes without getting jumped And so I think that's it feels very fresh and important and something. That's happening in London right now and I'm not sure it quite escapes. The sort of the tropes of of that the the sort of gangland genre fills some some parts feel a little bit familiar. But it's a very impressive piece of work and and the to lead Stephen Odor Bowler and Michael Woods. Both really impressive I think this is if not their debuts in the semi debut leads roles and and I think we're GONNA see quite a lot from them in the years to come I think they're really exciting towns and Rotman as well. I think that all GonNa go to very interesting places sick. Indeed full disclosure the curtain we would have had wrap man on this week's show But for my Lurgi pull out of an interview. I didn't see the film as a result. Talk with everybody and as you can tell I'm feeling great fully over it absolutely so three stars in for Blue Story and before I slowly holy die. The last we discuss in depth this week or John's go to discuss because he's the only one I've seen. It is judy and punch now John. That's an inversion of punch and Judy. Why is that? Because it's basically punch and judy but but It's it's yeah this is an odd confection. It some it's kind of telling the story of the famous puppet show that we see on C. sides everywhere. GD You didn't punch But sort of in a human form so there are two characters called Judy and punch her husband wife and they are They have a sort of tempestuous impetuous relationship and they live in the town called seaside It's sort of quirky fairytale. Feel to it. In fact the whole thing feels a little bit like a sort have early. Tim Tim Burton has got that sort of Quite quite tweet quite quite you know PSA fantastical it's Setina this sort of medieval England except knots. Judy is played by me of Ashikaga Punch play by Damon. How're Herman who we saw as Charles into things. They plan Manson again in this. Here's not although he is not a million miles away he's technically a murderer or attempted murder anyway So he they are both Puppeteers very successful puppeteers but they have a very abusive abusive relationship and then it becomes a sort of about halfway through it. Becomes a sort of revenge thriller. I suppose but in Burton esque way. It's really interesting. And quite original and quite strange ways it has a few sort of jaw dropping moments and I liked that it. I was going for that. That Burton by Didn't quite work for me. I thought could have been weird or stranger or I thought they could have done more with the characters which I thought were little bit flat. Perhaps but it's an interesting and if you like that that kind of then I think certainly one for you. I was violently sick halfway through this phone. That whether that was a reaction to the film or the off meat that I had the night before. That's wow entirely up to really come back. Had food poisoning. Yeah Yeah it's I mean I absolutely no judgment on the phone. That was just just poster. I I kind of slightly resent the film as a result. You know. It's funny but I can't. I can't get away from that association with it. So that's amazing. I'm looking forward to catching up all of these this weekend. Yes yeah they'll send very different very good into different so much I've missed. I haven't seen Ford versus versus Ferrari. Sorry six Even though it'd be Jim mangled I haven't seen last Christmas tons of stuff. I have to catch up on so hopefully I'll be well not actually go this weekend. That'd be nice so we gave this three three stars for Judy and punch and very very quickly as well. This week is Harriet. Which this is Casey? Lemons movie starring. Cynthia Riva was Harriet. Tubman who is legendary abolitionist and civil rights activists. We gave two stars I'm I'm a woman or a reviewer said a reverse impressive central performance is frequently undercut by an all too conventional approach. Hopefully Interferes Tubman can get the definitive by pick. She deserves serves. Sadly this isn't it so we gave up to stars to star sadly then for hiring it's and that is it for this week's NPR podcast triumphant in return. I think you'll you'll all agree and join us next week for more from elated fun. We'll be joined by hopefully Sam Clapton. Who Sam Claflin and Ashley in France Yosi Stars of Jennifer Kennedy Movie The Nightingale on hopefully as well Kevin Smith director of one? J. On the bulb reboot which is coming out next week. We are going to support a special flat. But maybe we'll run the non-sport portion of that interview on the podcast. It's as well so fingers crossed. Keeled see what happens until then until we meet again until it a spacious occasion. It is goodbye from John. Nugent Dubai his goodbye from James Dyer. Who has been here for the last ten minutes goodbye? Chris hasn't been he actually has been very quiet. We recorded a bit much much later. Trotted in have you enjoyed the last minute. All they've been fascinating are very much enjoyed games in many ways. The highlight of the podcast. Yes yes so. John went to the cinema for some films. One of which involve puppets and the seaside and was very good but a bit strange and there was some bridges which he may or may not have crossed and there was a rapper who spoke directly to jump through the screen and will happen to join in the movie they saw. Oh he was. He was violently violently ill as a direct result of the movie. See attention to some extent which is nice on that thing when someone says you haven't been listening and you haven't been listening and then and then you desperately crawling in your brain the prestige of sound. That still accurate is. That's what's happening. That's what podcast Armagh friends. His Gupta of course from Helena Hara daily way maybe much and is Google and for me a huge apologies to our new editor. Emma for have.

"Jason hammer is here also live in studio with us an attorney a longtime broadcaster, he political pundit. Some would call him a liberal college. Professor. That was an inaccurate description of Abdul Hakeem Shabazz, and that was actually almost a year ago. I can't believe that. Wow. Hey, what kind of law specifically, do you practice? The here's the best way to describe what I do for a living outside of here. Remember, Robert Duval's character in the godfather? Sure. Yes. You just solve problems the fixer. You're the Michael Cohen of Indianapolis, ugly. You're telling us, I not the Scaramucci. I am nothing. I'm the one who doesn't do stuff to go to jail specializes of constitutional constitutional law constitution government, pay special close attention to what what do you think of these Democrats? It's nothing new these a lot like mayor Pete Buddha judge talking about eliminating the electoral college. What do you think? And what would it take for that to happen? Well, you literally had to mend the constitution to get rid of the electoral college because that's sort of you know, how we do things. My my problem is nobody complains about the electoral college when it works for them, which is like ninety five percent of the time. So it was such a good idea to get rid look college. Why do you talk about it when Barack Obama won two times and Bill Clinton won two times? Jennifer Kennedy won the popular vote though. I think that was the issue. Well, there have been once they five times in American history where the popular vote in the electoral college didn't match up, and there was really only one time out of all that when there's some kind of some funny monkey business going on that was round like the election of eighteen seventy. Six Rutherford b Hayes and Samuel Tilden. Do not ask me. Why this Bernie Sanders finished third? I think he was on the Oregon trail. Thirty taken some he'll and shoot squirrels. You know? So so they can eat. I mean, I mean the the system works. I mean, if you went about getting rid of electoral college will get rid of the United States Senate because every state whether it's California with fifty four million people or Wyoming with like six hundred seventy thousand they both get to senators, so guess what? In the Senate Wyoming's vote is just as good as California's considered to represent the state's interest. So this is all basically window-dressing, then we're getting from mayor Pete in Elizabeth Warren, and I think eleven states have put some sort of paperwork and process to try to move forward to get rid of the electoral college is this all just window-dressing. It's silly silly window dressing. And I think it's a blink of potentially harms the country because think about this for a minute, if you get rid of the electoral college, all you're basically saying is if I'm a presidential candidate is have to campaign in California, Texas, New York, Florida, Illinois, Ohio, and maybe. Of all the places because it's all popular vote now. So why would it have to go to to a swing state, Missouri? Lack of Iowa New Hampshire, I can ignore all those places now because guess what as long as the popular vote tab. I went actually know who was the third get on the country in two thousand four I want to say it was Barbara Boxer Senator from California after George Herbert, George W Bush John Carey, she came in third with the most votes. I mean, so I mean, that's how you're popular vote tends to work. I think college works just fine. Don't get mad at the electoral college, get mad at Hillary Clinton who didn't do her due diligence. Never went to kansin didn't campaign in Michigan did a half ass job in Pennsylvania has she showed up with those three places eighty thousand votes. Trust me, everybody would just love the electoral college. Also, one of the things I wanted to get to Abdul. And you being an attorney could can answer this better than I could news came down yesterday that Robert Kraft the owner of the New England Patriots. There was some sort of plea deal Florida. Remember he got busted for soliciting a prostitute at a CD massage parlor of.

"Two two sixteen. Hey, do you need more evidence that it's over that? We're not winning. I'll let me give it to you. I'm gonna give you more evidence. We're not winning. We are not winning. They've done a little here. Little there nibbled around the edges since Trump's been elected president to fricken years ago. We're not winning Donald Trump's fall. It is not Donald Trump's for. Of the Republican party. I'll give you the Trump could have been way more vocal louder kicking and screaming about the Republican party. I haven't seen that. Yeah. You'll see a tweet here there. That's that's good stuff. But I've not seen any. Let's call them fireside chats on the part of our president. I've not seen President Trump take a directly to the people on a regular and sustained basis. Could be one of them near Camp David addresses that very few people watch. But something to worry comes forward and says, you know, I went into office move there by the we the thinking party by the people that sorta crossed over democrat, Republican whatever a lot of real conservatives called silent majority wherever you want. They put me in office because I'm here to save this country save this Republic, keep it from going total global socialists, and I'm trying to get that done. But the people standing against me are the one hundred percent old school swamp. Republicans and then just start naming names. Why why didn't he do that? I don't know. Here's anyway, here's some more evidence. As to why it's pretty much lost. It doesn't mean we we quit fighting. Now, we just stopped fighting by funding Republicans. Okay. More about that in a minute. But they just heard Donna Brazile on Fox News. You heard me Donna Brazile, the school Clinton Easter now, most notably most famous for recently cheating and lying giving. Well, actually, she came out at one point a minute of giving Hillary Clinton a heads up an answers to debate that was supposed to take place with Donald Trump are observed with Bernie, and that was back when they were installing the primaries that Donna Brazile, she's not been hired by FOX. And and Janine Pirro has been taken off. Let that sink in. We're in an alternate universe. Baby. Fox News no longer and for a long time has not served. We the thinking on any level. I don't care about Hannity screaming every night the same with the screen of talking points moving up and down next to him in tax form. No, no. I is not working anyway. And then especially when he brings on somebody like an opposing voice. No. We don't need a post who voices we need a one hundred percent conservative news service. We have got one. We don't have one Tucker Carlson's good. But only to the point where he does his Tucker Carlson thing and doesn't in any way bring on an opposing voice, which has to do, you know, what they do that they're told they have to do that they have booker's that they do it. They just say you will do this. They're called attorneys and program directors to the other thing about that is is. Fox News got rid of Jean peril because she came out and told the truth about Islam. Let that one can you know? Fox rolled-over to his Lama fascism, FOX rolled over toward the oldest Islamic trip tricks in the book now, they've taken another inch and another inch and pretty soon it'll be an Islamic mile. That's exactly what they're trying to do. Gene, peril came on the TV show, which is outstanding. She's got one of the best TV shows ever. But she does that stupid point counterpoint to with some stupid broadening cocoa from transam haven't seen her in a while. But she's does that quite a bit. I think they like to say, well, look, I'm exposing left by debating with this guy. No, no, no, no. You're wasting time. We don't need to hear those people. We don't need to ever hear progressives again on any level. So anyway, other Tekken censorship. Let them go talk somewhere else. I'm over to MSL BT because they've got every other network except FOX now they've got FOX now, you know, what has happened in. Notre it's because Murdoch is getting out of the business. He's retiring he's totally getting out. His kids are running it. His kids are progressives. Who yeah, they loved the party with Robert deniro. And Chelsea Clinton and from time to time. Ivanka. Now, here's the bottom line. Fox's gone straight up gone. I I can I can barely watch it now. Lou Dobbs decent. But Lou Denver does wanted to shut up when he has somebody on who's good that you really want here talk. But other than that, he's good. And he loo so far is not succumb to any progressives. So judge gets on two weeks ago. I didn't see that. I'm not gonna watch it. But she goes off on this Omar Islamist chicken congress about how she's wearing slave rig. He jab I've said this gazillion times that literally as a slave science slavery slave up. And basically says I support murdering Jews, and and I'm I'm pro Muslim Brotherhood, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, she she didn't quite fit like dad. I'm, but that's basically what she said facts came in and yanked her off the air so fast, make your head spin an an said that they apologized for what what she said, why politics is just the truth. It's the truth. Why is not? Pointed out that this chick is wearing a slave rig. He jab in congress when they're not allowed to wear any head cover in congress per congressional rules that go all the way back through the first congress why because they're scared of Islam. They're scared to tell the truth on Islam. Yeah. They're scared of say you can't wear that here because then the Muslim Brotherhood come out and say, you guys are as Llamas as Lama phobic. Then they'll go. No, no, no, we're not I've told you before if you want to see a Republican, Peter pants, and usually it's hard to do because they were blue pants. They do that on purpose because they pee their pants and blue pants cover that up as our good buddy Lee used to tell us, but what you do. And they they're wearing depends these days because they pee their pants so often if you go to Republican, and you accused him of being a racist even kidding around to even said, it just say, you're a racist pants immediately. And they'll go, and they'll start crying, and they'll beg you to not think there are racist. Let's see what Steve has to say St. welcomed on the edge. Thanks day. Roan? Congratulations on the FM station. Ninety ninety two seven FM. We're ninety two seven FM now. Love it. Anyway. Ars just getting to know Beddoe a little bit because they're starting to highlight him media. And you used the perfect word earlier. I think for him vapid that guy strikes me as not being very bright. He's not he has a very let's say a lacklustre career as a Texas State in Texas State house. I think. Anyway. So I'm listening to a clip somebody played in Beto says I just happen to believe that the weapons that were designed for the US military kill effectively to kill many people as many people as possible. He's weapons should not be available on the streets of the United States while they're not the guy's lying. You know this. I am God bless I get it. Trust me. I'm on your side. But but what could is it gonna do? I mean, these guys have got the the youth of America from kindergarten through PHD programs. One hundred percent propagandize to think that we've got to get rid of weapons. That's the problem. They're talking about this now with regard to the shooting in New Zealand and right now, I'm not gonna deep into it today. But they're talking about they're gonna they're going to change their gun laws wherever this prime minister woman is of New Zealand Joe change gun laws to what if anything they should give more people guns because that's what ended up stopping the guy. Oh, I didn't know how they stopped him with somebody with somebody with a with a firearm. I think it was an Australian a legally possessed firearms shot the guy dead great. I know. But then, but they never wanna look at that. They always wanna to look if we got rid of all guns. You coulda shot anybody in the first place. That's the line. Beta is pushing it forward and man you're not shocked by that area. That's what they're trying to do. They want to disarm you. Well, let me ask you a question. It looks like this detto starting to get a lot of tracks. Oh, he's got a lot of tracks. Do you think that he is a likely candidate? He's he's he's burning. He's Obama vanilla. He's he's the he's the white version of Obama for real he's the white version of Obama, and that's the romance that the progressive have with the sky don't ever do. I think he stands a chance. Amen. I think he stands a chance of taking Bernie out because he is very much. He's he's more in league with the young voters out there that can identify with him. They look at Bernie and the they like his agenda in his principles. But he's a he's a touring old, man. Betas got the same friendly progressive rap. They're going to go with him. Hell, yes. They don't ever pick a candidate on the Democrats socialist side because they like America because they want a champion American opportunity. They pick a candidate by falling in love with their wishful thinking in a motion. That's what it's all about them. They want to romance with your candidate. That's what it was with Jennifer Kennedy. That's what it was Obama. Yeah. I'm here in the same style of Obama's candidacy with despacito, except he's not even as good as Obama at portraying this character. I'm just surprised that that he's getting so far. And when you compare them to Trump. One thing that do you like Trump or not I tell people is with Trump. You knew exactly what you were voting for he laid.

"We're going to stay on the air for as long as possible. Beating all morning. Any? I'm CLYDE Lewis. You are listening to ground zero. Numbers. Call tonight. Triple eight six seven three thirty seven hundred that's triple eight six seven three thirty seven hundred were dealing at a people now people. That's what's happening. And I was contemplating the symbolism of the blood moon last night. I decided towards the end to take a detour because they lamented the fact that very late into the night. I started the momentum of thought. Which created this apocalyptic and post apocalyptic narrative, and this there was based in my concerns about the overall, psychological or parasites logical effects that are created after an apocalyptic symbol appears in the sky and the window of time where we begin to notice the breakdown of community, the reality of economic crisis environmental catastrophes collapses, civilization self and so on so on so and so on. Now, the blood moon rising presentation last night. If you recall began with listeners. Calling the program and describing nightmares of seeing something that was unknown. Something would have them cowering in terror and leaving them twist it in their blankets in a cold sweat. There were two listeners phoned into the show sharing the same dream. There were other calls on the list all the calls in the line that had the same dream. In fact, four of the twelve lines were full. There were listeners claiming that an unknown force or entity. Was in their dreams. And they really did not know what it was. It was tormenting. And I thought to myself I could have just opened the lines to the dreamers in the description of the night terrors, but I had a guest and after the great interview I had with Linda Godfrey all the calls about the nightmares were gone. And it weighed heavy on me. I wondered the whole night. About the dreamers about the dreams the nightmares. Dark unknown entities in those dreams and nightmares. And I could I could not help. But think about that passage. In the book of acts in the bible that reads, and it shall come to pass in the days says God. That I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Your young men shall see visions and your old man shall dream dreams. So it appears it. My listeners are dreaming. Those dreams. I would tempting to get my vision of what is stake here. What is coming? How we should not be taken for granted the comfort that we have been having in this country. Because it just feels like the comfort is about to go away. Jennifer Kennedy once said, quote, those who make peaceful revolution impossible. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible. We'll make violent revolution inevitable. The idea of a peaceful revolution or the ability to make a positive change in this peaceful manner. The Kennedy talks about is now an afterthought because America is now operating in an emotional and moral context that has been set by the viciousness of fanatical political bias. As much as we are told by progressive thinkers that they embrace diversity. They are constantly pushing stereotypes that you're not make any sense. I'm gonna give you give you a case in point. So today, it was raining. Raining really hard. So I took a bus from my house to a train stop that is located near a Starbucks. I usually hop the train because the train goes right to my door here at the office. So I wanted to avoid ran it didn't have an umbrella. So I hop the train was that was on the train. I witnessed a confrontation between the transit security officer in a group of white college students that failed to show him their fare tickets because they do that. Sometimes you're on the train. And all of a sudden, fair inspector inspector comes through checked, your tickets checks to see if you have a card or a ticket or something that's been validated or whatever. Well, these kids that they were they weren't really kids are kind of young adults are sitting on the train and one of the college students. The most vocal of the group was this white male with dreadlocks he was wearing a stocking cap, and he was complaining that he and his group were being discriminated against. Oh, we didn't. We didn't pay the fare because we figured one or two blocks away from the college. We hopped on the train near the Starbucks, and they're all like giving their excuses and the and the agent wouldn't have he says, look, he's if you want to why don't you pay for it now, and we'll avoid any charges because they do they charge. You a fine. If you don't have fair or they offer you can community services. So these guys were really irate that they were being talked to. And they said, well, these guys the minute you got on everybody's showed their passes. And then you went, okay. And then you came right to us and asked us where our passes were because we didn't show them. And he says, yeah, of course, I would've went to them to but they already showed their passes. They held him up and I saw them and I moved over to you guys insure your passes. I had to assume you didn't have any passes. So I was just listening to this conversation just out of control conversation. And so what finally happened was the argument? Got it got, you know, more hot and heavy and the end result was this guy in dreadlocks white guy. Dreadlocks I into a white security Transvaal certain saying, you're a racist say, you're a racist. And he called me a expletive. He called him a racist. And I'm thinking what? Why did this guy? Call him a racist when he's just doing his job, and you're white and he's white. There were no black kids in the group. And yet guys are racist. I thought to myself there was something that was off about this whole incident. And then to make matters better. I saw the sweet old lady get on the train. She was using crutches because I guess she could you know, she was handicapped, so she was using crutches. And she had this beaming smile on her face, and it just warmed my heart inside after I saw that confrontation. I see this old lady getting on the train with crutches. A big smile on her face. I actually commented. I said, you know, crutches suck. Crutches. I could choose. Yes, they do. I says can you tell me why you're smiling she always smiling yet? It's the most wonderful smile. And I'm so happy, the you're smiling it made my day, and she just laughed and she said really really made your Daegu. Yeah. I just I just witnessed some sort of confrontation over here and you getting on the train on crutches working hard to get on the train and smiling. Just made me made my heart warm. So on one hand, I watched the young white man scream his entitlement to a white security officer calling him a racist as he was told to get off the train. And then came this woman on crutches that when facing adversity with her crutches. She was able to smile making the ugly situation of brighter moment when I got into my office. I got to thinking about that Covington Catholic highschool fiasco in Washington DC, and I wanted to point out the whole incident is a symptom of an even greater problem that our country faces in that is how will warped political perception of things is going to destroy this country. Indie stabilize it into a socially retarded operation. And and you know, and and I see this all the time. This this rush to judgment. And using these things like fascist and racist rallies. You know, look find your definitions, if you're gonna use these symbols, and sounds and words, or whatever you're gonna do know your definition before you start spouting them up. You know? It just makes me realize. For some reason the programming is turning this country into some possessed entity like it's possessed by a demon or some superior devil that uses technological programming in order to break down the social stability of this country. Back to the issue of the Covington Catholic school situation. This is evidence again of para, psychological. A pair of psychological virus? And when it reveals is there are dark hearts. There are a lot of dark hearts of this country dark hearts of those who see everything is the opposite, social and political type from their own, and they they wished to exploit it. And so you know because look a kid smiling at a native American pounding a drum. You know immediately. We assume I couldn't understand why he was smiling at the guy. Let's see what it was was immediately. And I saw this on the internet comments about a maga- hat. Saying well maga- had is no different than a Ku Klux Klan hood. No. There is definitely a difference between a maga- hat in a Ku Klux Klan hood, just saying that does not make it. So and perceptions in grooming. This saying things like this is not going to remedy the situation. It was about you know, when you were looking at that situation with that standoff, or whatever it was it was about finding and interpreting images confirm negative stereotypes about people. You don't know that you don't understand any triggered assumptions about a young man who stood smiling while an old data of American, man. Played a drum right into his face. And I don't care what you think politically were your biases. Are we've arrived at a point in our history where we have to deal with a nightmare people, reducing complex human life in the viral memes, and then banished the vanishing. The whole thing into oblivion and there's always judgment. There's this rush to judgment and no matter who. Is right or who's wrong? We tend to humanize and seek to expunge people. We don't even agree with. I'm on frightening. You really seriously? I know it may sound cliche. And I know that people are dying diva political view on the topic of this Cobbing didn't thing, but there's a very important lesson to be learned. And that is this is actually a major sign of the apocalypse. I remember my first broadcast of ground zero. And I stated the purpose of the show. And that was I wanted to use it as a mirror of business as usual in the apocalypse, and as we journey into his dark realm of Armageddon. We would see while there will be plagues famine and pestilence. There will be a time where ideologies could clash and that we as a world would focus on the elimination of all who he perceived to be imperfect human beings, and what I was referring to were wars and rumors of war as we see the other. It's called the other as we see the other as a group that it's imperfect and in need of being expunged permanently. And we all seem to have those feelings about those who differ from us in political views differ from us in religious views. And we put it all on social media. And the crucial thing here is that the nation's culture is now in a new technology that has taught us how to unfriendly delete ban in threatened from behind to screen, our thoughts and social media. We all think are harmless. But are they harmless? Are they becoming a form of grooming? Ms is this something, that's grooming. You into becoming an ugly and hypocritical individual that can be a beast that sits behind the keyboard?.

"News crashing and burning all over the place. Yesterday today, general Flynn's fiasco. Judge Sullivan off the rails. The Trump foundation being shut down voluntarily after pressure from. Government law enforcement officials all kinds of bad days tougher going on going on for the president United States and for America loving Americans everywhere bad day, you know, that wall all that talk about the wall and the five billion for the wall. We're gonna shut down the government on Friday, unless the president gets five billion for the wall. Not so fast. Now, the five billion is basically off the table or they try some creative bookkeeping or something like that. But it looks like it's off the table. And there be no government shutdown. Oh, thank God. Because government shutdowns they closed down seventy and the boy scouts can't get in. And it's it's terrible. But instead of getting five billion from Paul Ryan, the Republican leader of the house of representatives from Mitch McConnell Republican leader in the majority in both cases of the of the United States Senate and from President Trump in the White House said of getting five billion dollars for border security, the shorthand for which is the wall, and it's not all wall. And I think everybody knows that President Trump said it a dozen times just in the last couple of months talking about some electric some this some that some fancy fence, it's border security at securing our border. Well, there will be none of that. The Democrats were offering a one point six billion was at one one point three billion, and they were lying about that too. Because they'll throw money on it as long as it has no discernible effect in terms of securing our border because they're not in favor of securing our border because they're not on our side and on the side of our country. That's just not who they are the Democrats, then come the Republicans and Paul Ryan speaker of the house on his way out apparently couldn't care less. His legacy is not going to be a very good one. I guess with the Democrats it might be. But with the people that sent him here and made him speaker, not so good. And then we're in store for Kevin McCarthy who cannot string a sentence together to save his life without stumbling over his own tongue. The guy is about as inarticulate as any member of congress on Capitol Hill and the idiot Republicans in the house have decided that he's going to become the speaker of the house instead of just about anyone else. Mark meadows. Jim, jordan. Give me I've got a shopping list of people that I put in there on a little irked with the Republicans and rightly so, and and so the house sells us out, and they don't pass a budget. They can get over to the Senate and the Senate isn't demanding the money and screw the American people. Don't they know who we are? We're going to do what we want. We're in charge. They're not. And this is why we have elections. So I wish you'd vote these SOB's out every chance we get no one should ever be reelected. We should term limit everyone to one term. And then kick them out. See what kind of people we get that. Because these people suck. And we've got the president of the United States in the White House who vowed again, and again, and again, and again the wall, and I got ten feet hired. We're gonna Mexico's gonna pay for it. There's always a little bit of a joke about that. But, but hey, we'll work it out in trade, and we'll come up with some way of making that we're not even getting their shut. This whole thing is this is what you call a dead shark. This is not moving forward. Nothing. Good is happening with this not only that. But we're going to throw ten billion plus six hundred million to Mexico and Central American countries and ask them to solve our illegal immigration problem for us. We've already thrown billions and billions and billions of these countries over the years, and it hasn't solved the problem. So why anybody thinks that ten point six billion this time around is going to solve any problem. I don't know. In fact, I don't think they think it's going to solve a problem. I think they just lied to us all the time and an NFL. You have a great explanation for this by all means come out to the microphones and explained to us. Why this is a great deal for the American people. There will be no five billion for border security, but we'll give more than twice that to Mexico and Central American countries where people are fleeing in droves because the places are be polls and us throwing tens of billions of dollars at them, which we've already tried is not gonna. Solve the problem. I thank everybody knows that. But we're going to do it. Anyway. Ten point six billion on. We're already twenty trillion in debt. Here's ten point six billion for you. And what are we doing for the border? Well, there will be no money for that. You're all flipping fired. It's again, it's the old thing. This is a this has been going on for years for decades. The Democrats are not Jennifer Kennedy, Democrats, they are. Joseph Stalin Democrats. They're they're Fidel Castro. Democrats. They're they're not on our side. Democrats there some of them make Bernie Sanders look reasonable, and the Republicans aren't much better than they should all be can they should all be fired. Every one of them should be voted out of office sooner rather than later, and they're there. Throwing this in our faces as insult to injury ten point six billion for Mexico and Central America. Right, which aren't s whole countries because dick Durbin says they're not but people are fleeing by the millions. And we're gonna pay them. We're going to give twice the amount that we want her own border security to the countries that are violating our border security. The government's not like this is going to solve the problem. Truly extraordinary stuff. And and then we can just expect even worse after the first of the year when nanny Pelosi. Will become the speaker of the house that I'm sorry. But what's his name? Kevin McCarthy will become the Republican leader of the minority. Not the the speaker, but they were gonna make him speaker of the house of their public and sell the house and seems like a nice guy. Looks like a nice guy cleans up. Well, looks freshly scrubbed incredibly inarticulate, and that's and that's disgraceful. So we've got that going for us the big criminal Justice reform Bill that was passed out a bipartisan basis on a BI party was bipartisan criminal Justice. It'll lead to increases in crime in a number of categorize, but pay no attention to that probably murder leading the way when it comes all this. And so the the headline and is actually the lead story in doctor evils post today. Senate passes Bill revamping criminal Justice, eases three-strikes, comma, crack disparities big pivot for GOP and a bipartisan victory for Trump bipartisan victory for Trump. Because it's what the Democrats wanted. And so when the Republicans do what the Democrats want the news media praises, the Republicans one brief shining moment. Trust me, it doesn't last even until you get to jump of the story on page eighteen but they passed the big Bill, and and I love this eases three-strikes, so we're going to let more career criminals out of jail sooner. And the crack disparities. No, I understand this argument this practice disparities you going to jail for a longer period of time. If you're selling crack, then you go to jail if you're selling powdered cocaine versus rock cocaine. Okay. Now, the reason for that is because Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton and people on the left were raising. Holy hell because the murder rates were skyrocketing. American cities all over the place, and it was all trace to crack. And so with the skyrocketing and there were crazy homicide rates in American cities. There were lefties and conservatives to but the left were leading the way including the Reverend Jesse Jackson and his fellow travelers demanding longer prison sentences at a and harsher treatment for crack. Dealers destroying black communities the shootings that murders. Overdoses the the addiction all the stuff in destroying communities. So they made the laws a harsher stricter and and powdered cocaine trafficking. They were still going to prison, but not for as long because there weren't as many homicides basically associated with the white powder cocaine, but then the left after demanding these changes in the law notice that there was a negative consequence and unintended consequence. And that is that there were more crack inner city African American longer prison sentences white powdered cocaine Beverly Hills, the suburbs, white rich kids snorting it instead of smoking and. Nobody shooting each other not as many people shooting each other and so shorter prison sentences. Well, that's racist. Now, we've got to undo it. Now, we're just reverting back to the status quo, ante that is the way things were before. And it will and they're all acting like they're shocked that there were longer prison sentences for crack when they were the ones pushing for it. The very people are expressing shock now. And demanding we put an end to this are the very people that were pushing for the change in the laws in the first place. Just by the way, that should be noted. Secondly, you go to the jump here on page eighteen in the Washington Post and the headline the follow on the story. The headline is criminal Justice Bill highlights GOP's pivot from emphasis on law and order. See you go along with the Democrats, and the Republicans are no longer the party of law and order now on the front page. They're praising the Bill because the Democrats like you go to the jump because their undoing what the Democrats insisted on a couple of decades ago. And and and this is how the saga goes again, and again over and over, and then you gotta the jump and the GOP's pivot away from law and order. So there your oh. Well, now, you're no longer the party of Launer. Well, it's true. They did compromise. What the Democrats they did come to an agreement the Democrats? So the Republicans take a beating because they agreed with the Democrats. The Washington Post was all in favor of passing. There are still all in favor of passing it. But now all the credit growth, the Democrats and the Republicans are indicted for leaving behind law and order. And then you want border security want to secure the border. Well, that's a law and order issue. You're a racist. I'm sorry. Wait a minute. We were just talking about law and order, you're a racist. Well, but you exterminate forty percent of the black population by way of Planned Parenthood and their affiliates. You're the racist though. The party that through the Japanese in internment camps and gave us Jim crow loves calling everybody racists, by the way, the the big story breaking this morning. Also that the Trump administration now apparently planning on pulling all troops out of Syria, where the complicated civil slash international war has been ongoing for years and ISIS. The Islamic state is savagely slaughtering humanity and trying to build up strength like they did under the Obama years where they built up great strength under Obama after Obama recklessly pulled out of Iraq. And and now the Trump administration the hits just keep on coming. I gotta tell you yesterday. They banned announced a ban on the bump stock as though that will change anything. You can turn your belt loop into a into a bump stock if if you so choose you can find the videos on the internet, if you're looking for such things, I don't have any personal use for a bump stock, but I know that banning it and doing it not through congress because there are too many cowards there. But doing it through the administrative process is infuriating and nonsensical and pointless and futile and won't save a single life and demonstrates that. I've got to say this the administration has having a really really really really bad week at this point. And I don't like anything that I'm seeing here the no five billion for border security, but ten point six billion for Mexico. It's actually four point eight billion from Mexico. Nearly that five billion that we've been looking for goes to Mexico..

"Five news crashing and burning all over the place yesterday today general Flynn's fiasco. Judge Sullivan off the rails. The Trump foundation being shut down voluntarily after pressure from. Government law enforcement officials all kinds of bad day stuff for going going on for the president United States and for America loving Americans everywhere bad day, you know, that wall all that talk about the wall and the five billion for the wall. We're gonna shut down the government on Friday, unless the president gets five billion for the wall. Not so fast. Now, the five billion is basically off the table. Or are they try some creative bookkeeping or something like that? But it looks like it's off the table. And there be no government shutdown. Thank god. Because those government shutdowns that closed down seventy and the boy scouts can't get in. And it's it's terrible. But instead of getting five billion from Paul Ryan, the Republican leader of the house of representatives from Mitch McConnell Republican leader in the majority in both cases of the of the United States Senate in from President Trump in the White House said of getting five billion dollars for border security, the shorthand for which is the wall, and it's not all wall. And I think everybody knows that President Trump said it a dozen times just in the last couple of months talking about some electronic some this some that some fancy fence, it's border security at securing our border. Well, there will be none of that. The Democrats were offering one point six billion was at one or one point three billion, and they were lying about that too. Because just they'll throw money on it as long as it has no discernible effect in terms of securing our border because they're not in favor of securing our border because they're not on our side on the side of our country. Give me I've got a shopping list of people that I put in there. I'm a little irked with the Republicans and rightly so, and and so the house sells us out, and they don't pass the budget. They can get over to the Senate and the Senate isn't demanding the money, and I ask screw the American people. Don't they know who we are? We're going to do what we want. We're in charge. They're not. And this is why we have elections Hawaii. We should vote. These SOB's out every chance we get. No one should ever be reelected. We should term limit everyone to one term. And then kick them out. See what kind of people we get that. Because these people suck and we've got the president of the United States and the White House who vowed again, and again, and again, and again the wall and it got ten feet hired. We're gonna Mexico's gonna pay for it. There's always a little bit of a joke about that. But, but hey, we'll work it out in trade, and we'll come up with some way of making that we're not even getting there where there is this whole thing is this is what you call a dead shark. Bill Clinton won over Georgia. Walker? Bush nineteen Ninety-two. Trump won over over Hillary Clinton. She can't show the same graciousness. And there's no reason why revisiting is this. I've got a few people who held on for the break. And I appreciate let me take these phone calls and carry that story from blaze. I'll give you the story. I don't think so. Okay. We'll make sure that we get that. Because it's just it's one of the stories that it really this is some administrators somewhere deciding that the American flag is inappropriate. Suggesting strongly. That. In fact, this group of students take down the American flag the American flex. We'll have that for you coming up to the phone lines. In the meantime, it's Joe New York Joe what's going on. Hi, hello. Thank you for taking my call. I just wanted to ask your opinion about something. Take on something. I noticed at Bush's funeral. There was also former president Jimmy Carter and former first lady Roslyn, call it. And it struck me how far the Democratic Party has fallen since called. I don't know if you've noticed it. They have become so much more radicalize and move so far to the left. I noticed when caught a lost he accepted defeat graciously. And you know, he let Reagan just govern. But get no soon at the Trump win, then Obama declared himself leader of the resistant, and you know, and it doesn't seem to want to go away. And no sooner the Trump win that he declared. Legitimate president. And he's been is behavior today notwithstanding I will give him credit for today. But I noticed you know, that there's been a shift, and you know, they just become so much more radicalized. And and you know, the aim is justified the means now anything to win and they don't accept loss. And I don't know if you noticed that. I think that it actually go beyond Jimmy Carter because I don't even think Jimmy Carter was a blue dog. I think he was kind of a, you know, a leftist as well, especially when it came to the misery index and how he governed and the whole mess with Iran. I mean, the guy was not a very good president. So I think that he started getting more left than we even expected him to get having said that if you go back to like, John F Kennedy, Jennifer Kennedy, today, policy wise, not more not morality wise, because he wasn't a very moral guy. But but when it came to policy he would be he'd be a Republican today. That's clear the people that we have representing the democrat party today. And this goes to your point are, I think what we would look at as far left wing, socialists, or even communists fifty or sixty years ago. Do you agree? Absolutely. And you know, I I've never voted democratic. I use Carter is my reference focus. That's when I started getting involved with Djelic. Reagan was my first press. He was president when I started high school into some of my college. But I you know, I. Yeah. I think so. Yeah, I was a sixty five. But then as the president he spoke with this with this great, Georgia drawl, you wanted to believe what he said he wanted to believe he's going to do the best for the country, but every single policy I can't think of one that. He did that I go. Yeah. I was a good one every single policy sucked every single policy didn't make any sense. It just it was horrific in the misery index. I talk about that would be I believe unemployment inflation and interest rates, and they were all through the roof, all double digits. It was nuts. The economy really sucked because of his policies his handling of the Iran takeover and taking over hostages in our embassy. There was ridiculous. It was ridiculous. And then you I'm not gonna like the Christmas tree the the national Christmas tree because that's somehow going to either get our hostages back, and I'm not going to go in and send our athletes to the Olympics until we get our hostages back or until I don't know. "That you know, what I mean did not even look over the Clintons did not acknowledge President Trump did not even look over that CBS. That's a legacy media outlet that saying that. So again, I think that it's appropriate whether your political foes or not whether you got that asks kicked or not in two thousand sixteen to respectfully sit there with a guy George Herbert Walker Bush and Bill Clinton had a great friendship. I am based on how political differences apart any aside. Bill Clinton won over George. Herbert walker? Bush nineteen ninety two. Trump won over over Hillary Clinton. She can't show the same graciousness. And there's no reason why revisiting is this. I've got a few people who held on through the break in that appreciates. Let me take these phone calls and carry that story from the blaze that the story. I don't think so okay. We'll make sure that we get that. Because it's just it's one of the stories that make it really this is some administrators somewhere deciding that the American flag is inappropriate. Suggesting strongly. That. In fact, this group of students take down the American flag American flex. We'll have that for you coming up. Let me go to the phone lines. In the meantime, it's Joe New York Joe. What's going on? Hi. Yes. Hello. Thank you for taking my call. I just wanted to ask your opinion about something you take on something. I noticed at Bush's funeral. There was also former president Jimmy Carter and former first lady Roslyn caught. And it struck me how for the Democratic Party has fallen since. I don't know if you've noticed it. They have become so much more radicalize and move so far to the left. I noticed when caught a loss. He accepted graciously. And you know, he he let Reagan just govern. But yet no soon at the Trump win, then Obama declared himself leader of the resistance, and you know, and he doesn't seem to want to go away. No sooner the Trump win that he declared legitimate president. And he's been not s- behavior today notwithstanding. I will give him credit for today. But I noticed that there's been a shift, and you know, they just become so much more radicalized. And and you know, they the aim justified. The means now anything to win and they don't accept wars. And I don't know if you've noticed that way. I think that it actually if you go beyond Jimmy Carter because I don't even think Jimmy Carter was a blue dog. He was kind of a, you know, a leftist as well, especially when it came to the misery index and how he governed and the whole mess with Iran. I mean, the guy was not a very good president. So I think that he started getting more left than we even expected him to get having said that if you go back to like John F Kennedy, Jennifer Kennedy today, policy-wise, not not morality wise because he was in a very moral guy. But but when it came to policy he would be he'd be a Republican today. That's clear the people that we have representing the democrat party today. This goes to your point are I think what we would look at as far left wing, socialists, or even communists fifty or sixty years ago. Do you agree? Absolutely. And you know, I didn't I never voted democratic. You know, I use Carter is my reference. Oh cassettes. When I started getting involved. Reagan was my first he was president. When I started high school into some of my college. Okay. But I you know, I. And we are I think so. Yeah, I sixty five that's when I was born sixty six so you're just a year old tonight. But go ahead. But I've never voted democratic. And I didn't like call it a. But personally, I think he was a pretty decent, man. It was just the politics, and he was civilized. I don't think that's true. The Democrats today. Did they don't seem like civilized Pete? You're speaking out of line because the Democrats are the progressives of the far left are the ones that are writing are the ones that are ruining the ones that are starting fires in and running anti fall. And all these other things in black lives matter. These groups are radical their violent they're angry. And you're right. Jimmy carter. I think is at least his intentions are good, and based in in some sort of belief in God, and Jesus Judeo-Christian a semblance of a value system with Obama and with Hillary Clinton and with and these others that are coming Cortez. And so on they don't have that same sort of moral, compass? They've got a very different thing by any means possible. We must change this country into into a my vision is listen, very good call Joe, I appreciate New York. That was awesome. They're very good stuff. Carry the guys almost the same age as I am speaking. Because I really started paying attention. When Jimmy Carter was in office. And I remember thinking, wow, he's got some big teeth. Yeah. That was I mean seriously that was my first impression what a gigantic smile. Either cartoons of who was all teeth. He's a peanut farmer from from plains Georgia. He had a brother named Billy that drink too, much beer, just sort of this guy that you never would've would've thought would would rise to the presidency. But then as the president he spoke with this with this great, Georgia drawl, you wanted to believe what he said he wanted to believe he's going to do the best for the country, but every single policy I can't think of one that. He did that a guy that was a good one every single policy sucked every single policy didn't make any sense. And it just it was horrific in the misery index that I talk about that would be I believe unemployment inflation and interest rates, and they were all through the roof are all double digits. It was nuts. The economy really sucked because of his policies his handling of the Iran takeover taking over hostages in our embassy. There was ridiculous. It was ridiculous. I'm not going to like the Christmas tree. The the national Christmas tree because that's somehow going to either get our hostages back, and I'm not going to go in and send our athletes to the Olympics until we get our hostages back until I don't know. Russia leaves Afghanistan. The whole thing was ridiculous. It just I mean there wasn't a decision. He made the need sense to me. But he did at least seem to be a compassionate person who happened to be on the left. Today's leftists are screw you. If you don't if you don't think like, we do you should die. If you don't think like, we do you should be thrown in jail, or you should have your free speech rights taken away or you can't fly the flag or you can't have a Christmas celebration in a public school. That's that's how far we've come. And I think that's what he means. It's an idiot. Eight nine four one eight eight eight nine four one seven two four seven joepags dot com right here..

"That's the key action the film she's she's speaking verse strongly against injustice and and don't you people do something about this liberty and but she she when i noticed watching it again very carefully she makes all the key decisions in the film that only those but for example in the framing story when the editor comes in and demands to know the story of who is tom dunn offend stewart hesitates and he looks at vera vera miles halley is wife and she knots she gives the approval she she's the one that decides to tell the story and when you think about that that's a very big decision because he's going to reveal that their home his whole career as prod and a sham and could ruin his career and could change history and she's willing to go along with them she's lived with all those years living with a lie and you can see the effect on her face and personality at the end couple very sad and kind of bereft and as robin woodson does a certain era of quality to the defending story which is nineteen ten there's a lack of italian and it's seen most clearly in like of energy and the sadness of the couple the standards and so it's taking a toll on her i think she wants to be liberated from that because it's very hard to live with the live but you have to give her a lot of credit for that so she does she gets to tell the story and then the irony is the editor one print the story which i think is very trenchant comment very accurate on american journalism that quite often you're give a story to newspaper and they won't printed because they don't wanna hear about it i mean one of my probably the most important scoop ever had as reporter was i discovered the george h w bush was in the cia long before he became the director which contradicts his his version and so he lied under oath his confirmation hearing they said he had no tell just background and i printed that in the nation 'cause the big store and it's been picked up in a lot of books and then and then i had third stories it's a nation wouldn't print but i wrote about it in my book into the nightmare my search for the killers jennifer kennedy and officer.
