"Welcome back to NewsRadio six ten WTVN live coverage of the winter storm that well it wasn't. Then it was analysis really damn cold out there, man. Just Friesen got an update here on your snow -mergency levels. Franklin county, we are under a level to stow -mergency. Basically. This means road conditions are very hazardous, and you should not be driving unless absolutely necessary, and you really need to kind of think about why in the world you need to be out. In case. You're knucklehead that works in radio, and you have to drive in Delaware County level to Fairfield Fayette level twos. We've got Madison County is a level two. Pick away county is a level two richland's a level to Ross level to union level to pretty much the entire area other than really Athens. And then I've got more oh county is at a level three which means you are subject to arrest. If you're out on the roadways and just as a reminder, again tanger- outlets in Jeffersonville in sunbury. They are closed your Columbus metropolitan, libraries, close the zoos close, although good luck. While you were trying to. The zoo today, vets memorials closed Cosi is closed and also coda bus services free today for all writers because of that level to snow emergency. We do have a couple of hills snow hills out there. I'm seeing at least in Franklin county. The metro parks announced that Battelle Darby creek and CEO, grove parks. You can do some sledding or sled. Ryden dependent on how you view it. And oh dot right now has two hundred and forty drivers working twelve hour shifts throughout central Ohio. So they're getting it done, man. And as of right now, again, a piece about eight hundred people without power in and around Franklin county, which is a lot better when it was over five thousand earlier this morning. It is my pleasure. My honor to bring onto the show the guy. I am lucky and blessed enough to be able to say I get to produce. And he lets me play side kick and be as cohort on the afternoon show. The Mark blazers show Monday through Friday, three to six on this great station. The one the only it's the Mark plays her, dude. Thanks for calling in, man. I appreciate it. Absolutely, man. I don't deserve that kind of an intro. And I hope your stay in war. And I it is absolutely. Unbelievably numb outside. It's crazy. Yeah. Dude. It's like, it's it's sort of like how I feel on the inside watching most sporting events when my team's losing just numb and cold. And I'm I'm I've got nothing going on dude. So we kind of maybe I don't know if we should peek behind the curtain and let people know but last night you and I exchanged attacks message where we're kind of like, oh, man. Yeah. What a storm. Yeah. Her. Yeah. We're even exchanging Waldorf and Stadler memes from the Muppets. And then Bowden nine thirty ten o'clock when that thing switched to snowman. We got hit pretty good. I think we ended up with about four inches in Dublin. What what was it like up in blazer territory because I know you live a little north of where I do up Olen Tanzi school area. Yeah. Yeah. It was in Delaware. And it ended up. I think we ended up just over six inches here. So just a couple of more than where you're at. And we were under a level three which I didn't even realize this morning until I don't know not too long ago. You've done the exact time. But I was out. I got out pretty early started messing with the driveway such and my neighbor comes out to walk his dog. And he's like you're under a level three. I had no idea. Good thing. Because I was warming up the Jeep. I was going to try to find a place and get caught because my daughter on the heels of a birthday party yesterday. She had girls staying, and I was trying to be super dad, blah, blah, blah. But yeah, this morning it ended up being it was pretty good man with the blowing drifting up here in Delaware. It's it's it's still not the greatest out right now. I was out just a little while ago. But we got hit pretty good just a little bit a little bit harder. Probably than Dublin. Even started the show..

"Here on the tomorrow program. John and Jeffersonville Ohio. Hey, john. What's up? Yeah. Tom I had a a basically a situation that happened. And then I'd like to, you know, make MAC inclusion on and I'd like your comments, and I I did a deep dive on the Reverend Barbara sermon out of South Carolina, and he was talking about the three reconstructions that we've had in this country, and he goes back into the recipe behaves whenever they did the eighteen seventy seven compromise. And how you know they pulled out the troops out of Louisiana and South Carolina in order to let this out do what they want it again. And then it goes up into the plastic versus Ferguson separate but equal and it was eighteen ninety eight. I did. At the deep dive on all that stuff. I it just broke my heart. I mean, just to sit here and think about where we're at is a nation. And and what all you know. Worth. Thanks daren. And basically what conclusion that I came to his people who are racist if we can identify that are racist. We need to just basically not. Remove them for my life. Not communicate with him and not have anything to do with them and shame them. And that's the only thing I know how to deal with with the racism that were were experiencing. Well, and I agree John. And I think that the good news as it were is that if you look at the popular genres of of, you know, homemade YouTube videos made with camera phones phone cameras is that you know, we went through. I it was the, you know, cops killing unarmed black people mostly men, and then and then it went to know people behaving badly, you know, shouting shouting racist stuff at at bed black people by and large. You know, the the, you know, trying to have a picnic or whatever may be and then it moved to in the more recent version of this. And we've been seeing a lot of these in the last year is basically white people yelling back at other white people for being racist when they misbehave in public and. And so, you know, the genre is evolving, and I think that it's evolving in a way that reflects a broad consensus in America, at least with I think the majority of Americans along the lines of what you just laid out John that Americans are saying enough already. We you know, we s we have racist among us. We are not going to tolerate them anymore. We are going to call them out. You've got even you know, the guy who was the founder Gavin McGuinness the guy who's the founder of the proud, boys. Now in his neighborhood. They're his neighbors have signs up to say, hey, doesn't live here. And you know, suggesting that it does live in his house, and he and his wife are threatening legal action against them. They're freaking out there going around door to door begging people not to do it. I mean, you know, he's saying, oh, the proud boys is just a fraternal organization. You know, it was just a joke. I know I'm not even involved with them anymore. I mean, even the big time racists are being taken down. So I think John that we're moving in the right direction. Frankly, it's just heartbreaking that you can hate somebody. You don't even know. Yeah. The color of their skin. It just to me. I it's inexplicable. Don't get it is breathtaking John. Thanks a lot for the call Al in Beverly shores, Indiana. Hey, Al, what's on your mind today? Yes. I wanted to talk about horses in spirits. I loved your article. Can we take it back to the grant administration? Sure. But let me let me just before you continue. Let me just tell people what you're talking about. Because a lot of people are going what when when Ronald Reagan rolled out trickle down economics. The the idea of trickle down was presented as new and novel. But it actually wasn't back in the eighteen seventies eighteen eighties eighteen nineties as the oligarchy were basically taking over America along with the industrial revolution. They started promoting this idea called horse and Sparrow economics and the whole idea was back in the day. When there were a lot of horses. People knew that the sparrows love to eat love to pick the undigested seeds grain out of the horse poop that was all over the streets because everybody wrote a horseback in eighteen seventy and so what they suggested was that if you feed the horses more oats than they normally need they will put. More oats, which gives more food for the sparrows, which is going to cause the sparrows to be fat and happy and grow in population. So therefore, we should do the same thing with rich people give them more money, and they will then you know, poop that money on the rest of us Reagan. It was us and tell us that it's raining, and you know, the will all become richer back to you L. I strongly agree. I also think that grant kind of a rail because he just didn't know how to deal with the oligarchs nobody had to deal with them before you know, it was a brand new situation. Yeah. This is a illicit assessed. Grant. Who is I recall was elected president what eighteen seventy two or was it? Seventy eighteen sixty eight sixty eight coups. Remember Johnson was impeached over. Grant took over the following Presley. And then went to terms. Yeah. Then got reelected in seventy two. Yeah. And and and grant also I mean, if if you've read his his notes, his biography, and you know, his his notes on the civil war. I mean, he was a brilliant civil war tactician and military guy. But he was also a severe alcoholic. And that was the problem that really really hurt his administration was that he was drunk most of the time while he was president and it eventually killed it. I mean, you know, he died as I recall the mouth cancer. Didn't he? I don't recall. But.

To accomplish mayor Mike more goal an told more when JP trial I agreed to sign on was to show the world what police officers. Go through on a. Daily, basis it's my. Friday, Goto I'm they're both nights. Well we, work but, no action you know quite honestly it all kinds of looks the same except for Amazon. Is always like highway traffic stops let me, we work half days on Friday so I, go home and then you know no one's home to, jump on the couch TV on. Pillow blanket lay. There and watch in I mean it's a great I liked her little half hour shows because they've got the half hour shows that's because. I've got now what's it, called police came. Where, they go back on the. Body camera, videos people, are because there's there's an abundance of body camera videos that you don't see where it's. Just routine traffic stops people making an abundant, support decisions right which right for whatever reason, just amuses me immensely I think it's hilarious You can almost see the anatomy. Of a stupid decision coming you see the? Cop asking a question you see the person getting figures like. Something stupid and then it happened so it's great TV it's fantastic I'll be interested who they replace it and honestly like your Jefferson Jeffersonville it does. Them? A service? And people get, to see what they. Go through every day Show helped me guys another's moon shiners. Whatever the name of that show is that. One never took off though, that was kind. Of that was, almost I mean would that be interesting. If they went back into the boonies of North. Carolina or northern South Carolina and started finding a moon China's long. With the moon Shanna, thing I couldn't. Get on board with because it almost that was, almost too scripted I. Sat down and tried to watch. That I'm talking about the unscripted like live chases, that'd be well you talking about chasing moonshine live moonshine they can do that on the show they have now Yeah Place but, possibly I, mean who would watch that around? Here that's just a. Weakened bullet? County That's nice and not? Very accurate they don't they don't They don't sell moonshine. In bullet. County legally I. Mean as far as I know they don't there's a ton. Of good reality TV market iheartmedia dot com not take any. Responsibility for what comes out of his mouth but I think I think a and, he has hit a home run with, this and this has got some staying power and I'll be interested to see, who who takes over for, Jeffersonville because honestly after you see enough communities you're starting. To get into the l. we've. Met before I've seen that, happen with Jeffersonville, they're like a women. Before and I'm like I've. Seen that dude there are some frequent flyers Sure there are I have a community I think it's a Missouri, yeah we're Dan Abrahams who is with, ABC you hear him from time to time as their legal and the host, of the show yeah and, they'll help preface the segments kind of you know bring. Up to speed on what you're. Seeing it was oh here's, somebody that we've, met a couple of. Weeks ago on the show Pretty much. At the same place doing the same thing that got them in trouble the latest time and you can see. Where they actually run into like. Dead. Zones in the shows now they're doing these this. Person. Is missing. Feature and which is. A good thing don't get. Me, wrong but you, gotta have Phil you gotta but you can tell they're starting to hit dead zones and and that's okay so. I'll, be interested to see who steps up and, takes because, you basically you have Arizona Jeffersonville South Carolina. There are, no, Paso Paso Passos interesting because you got a lot of like border type Down. To Tijuana, let me see San Diego PD's is a six ten NewsRadio eight forty w. h s a couple. Of things are going to be working on the next is going to be a government shutdown will happen President Trump says he's willing to shut down.
