That year, The 49 ers ended up sending him as a free agent and undrafted rookie. And yet he was on the bubble that first year, But there was I forget who the veteran guy is that they kept him over. But the thinking was that this guy can be a starter in this league, and he can be a starter pretty soon and that my dad already had Green Law and and Fred Warner. So I think what you saw on Sunday was he's now in his third year. He understands his role. He knows that defense and so I think because of him, there's no reason to push it with Greenlaw. Greenland has the groin. So I think there because of because of the guys they have there and Demetrius plan against thousands is a pretty good player as well. Good special teams guy and learning more and more how to play. Uh, linebacker in the NFL after being a safety in college, So I think because of that, um out here has a chance to be this week and every down linebacker right now he's playing that Sam position. Not not just our Afghan partners, but even potentially some Americans. It's horrifying. It's horrifying. And are you served in Iraq but mostly a lot of people you served with served in Afghanistan. Uh and they're wondering, you know, they have to go help. Now, These veterans groups are doing more to get American people out. Then you could argue, then our our our Marines are being allowed to do our soldiers have been allowed to do because this administration They're afraid of a Saigon moment. And it got worse Now they're not letting choppers go out into ended about Kabul and Kandahar because they're afraid of a black hawk down moment. What do you say to these risk averse president who seems clueless. Yeah, I mean, it's it's again, you know, it transcends politics. It's becomes as a military man. It just becomes tactics and strategy, right. The idea that we have. I don't know if you've talked to Chad Roby shot lately, but guys like Chad, who are working with save our allies, this new this new organization that's coupling military people to go and leverage their own networks and their own relationships in Afghanistan to get people out while The active duty military is not allowed to go outside the wire justice insane. I mean, there's just no other way to say it and again. It's just not a political thing. It's a military thing. You have the best trained, most powerful, most capable military in the world. And you need to let them do their job. You can debate later. Whether we should should still be in Afghanistan should not. How should we leave? This is where we are. This is our moment and you've got to be kinetic. We've got to be able to respond. To the situation. We're in, like we all know that No good plan survives first contact with the enemy. Well, that's where we are now. So okay. They didn't see it coming. That seems crazy, but Whatever that's where we are. So what are we going to do now? Are we going to just leave people? Are we going to let the Taliban decide who we get to take out who we get to save and who we don't? That's just so madness. I think that the Biden people think this is a news cycle. They think this is just a downtime. And no one pays attention the summer anyway, I think the crazy but that's what they're buying. Because they're they have the president coming out and making some ridiculous vaccine announcement that we all knew that a clerk could read it. And then they have other experts come out and just spin their way and not say anything, so they pretend they're communicating. I want you to hear this, Jen Psaki on going after Peter Doocy for asking. Are you abandoning Americans? Cut 25. There are no Americans stranded is the White House's official position on what's happening in Afghanistan. I'm just calling you out first thing that we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan..

It just took steps to get to the point where we are. We have people of different backgrounds and and and and color variations and experiences that are now in position that call the shots because as an actor even today day. I can have an opinion. Look here's about what. I have to say more about my s made. We stand what we're told and we do what we say you know but in the day everything starts to create a process. So what's so beautiful about show out of black sketch. Show is even we. They all the time. Black people were not a monolith right. So writer's room the diversity in black women it's all black female writers wrote but even in that the amount of diversity that in that rome allows us to tap expenses from all over. So i think what's great is a said. Now you've got creative. Like an isa ray who started out they to the platforms that we have now. She's started off on online and look where that got her now. We've done the work we've proven we asked but now we're no longer asking anymore. Who like now position where we're making retaining control and we're telling our stories and people are getting on board with it. They're now asking for the content now wanting to see the stories and and the beauty of a culture because it is celebrated in this something that is it's refreshing to see that when you look at the decades decades decades of the same type of stores told over and over again. The audience is pallet is diverse. And it wants more. You know when you go out every every week every friday like every now and again you want to exit labor different variety. Give me the menu on the left. By the way. I i have to know because i watched a black lady sketch show and i wonder if your friends are ever leg beach. Did you tell that story about that. Time to the writers because that seems that seems like us they did you go ahead and tell the producers now like literally as after have zero in the writing. We'll get on it and we can improvise. But i do know a lot of like for example like asha programs also star in the show lake. She does her and robina heard him say that comes up those come from like personal experiences. But i think what's great is. They started colonels by via in the room and everybody gets chime in and create the sketch as far the right as roma's concerned so i'm sure carl's people's personal lives that they told me they probably need chitchatting. Those writers rooms like while in the right kind of tea. But it's so fun that it so there is no identity in the sense that it's not so specific that's not relatable to everybody unanimity. Like you say the girl tonight. Wait. did you know. I had no idea about your story. But it's just perfect that it's relatable because we all have kind of a similar experience in the how we react to respond to things a lot of fun. It's so fun to if you guys have not seen the show what i love about. This show is every sketch is about eight ish minutes like it reminds me of what in living color was what mad. Tv was back in the day where you could sit down. You didn't have to watch ten episodes before you could skip through the episode but my favorite thing about episodes is you always know the character like we all have to go to the club. We all had the girl who played mash in high school was started tired about what he was going to get. Everyone knows somebody so for me. Black lady sketch show is what wayne's brothers were creating but with an extra layer. Yeah because we all know the funniest aman tv. With jeff wilson. Like the blackley on mad. Tv was deborah walson. Who yeah he was a queen and you know why she probably stood out is because she got to play stories again. They see other places and it has to polynesia. Debra wilson is like hello governor. Wilson like we will look but again argue maintenance house bring that extra off to the table and she was doing things no other person that cast could do because they were unique to a black woman's experience so i think also genius is even the title of the show. A black lady sketch. Show robin cole. Purpose at the beginning was for to be not be story about. Robin didi and friends. It was more of like this is a representation of a black woman ping woman pick a black story. It's not defined in the ought to one experience and hope that this is one of many future shows that put him on a platform like this so this is a black lady schedule now but hopefully there would be more a black whatever in the future. I think that's what's so great. It's interesting because i wonder if you get the same thing that i do in you know. I'm on a daytime. tv show. We talk a lot about things. Race comes up in conversations and just for instance other day we were talking about this woman whose mother had a ridden affair with charles manson while he was in jail and then she now has one with another convicted killing increase. Watts and my comment was yeah. It's kinda strange. It's always random wide ladies who are having these kinds of sort of like assorted affairs with murderers and the white lady on my show. Said you know what you're absolutely correct and this fan tweeted at me and she was like you know. How would you feel if i said a random black. It's always random black woman. And i thought about it and i was. I don't know but i'm not afraid to talk about race. And the way. I talk about racist not in a in a racist way or oppress somebody else. I talk about it for comedy. Do you guys ever get the people that say well what we did it. Why lady comedy show would you guys before they don't need to watch. The show is just the title along turns. Some people are in it just like the word. Black is such a strong powerful word. It's so strange how it turned terms. People's it just upsets upset stomach. It makes the man why fido what off. And it's like sir ma'am had troll. Have you watched the show at relax. Take effect and it's also the fact that shows to exist you never you never explore the reason why our show has to exist now. Why it's doing so well because there's been some of us like not having misdeed at the table. Yes so like. I was one of the many black women who got to test for. Snl years back when keenan thompson had made the point that where the black women on us to now so it's like the fact that these questions have to be asked. You should be annoyed at the fact that black people wanna see table and wants to play saying energy unexplored. Why do conditions are the way they are for show like ours to have to exist. Yes our show. No one would ever get to experience the layers in the range. The us on the show have been able to. Where else would. I have been able to have the opportunity to do that. So all hell all hell awful. Hbo for giving us this opportunity in this platform to do things. And i've been at this game for minute and i have not gotten the same amount of love and and feedback in appreciation for my talent and range and to be able to do and even apply a lot of my skills to.

Nighter in four weeks. Yanks What happened? They were all bad San Francisco. Every single player in their team was hurt. They had opt outs that injury that the ball interest was right. They Pittsburgh Had gone from 11, No 10 and no to they can't score on offense. And then New England was just e mean they were bad all season, that first matchup that was really close. You know, I was. It's the Cam Newton fumble that seals the deal for the bills, but it's not like you walked away going New England but I didn't think I'd be that close. But I mean, you walked away going knowing it's not good, so that you would have looked at that and thought. Well, that's a really difficult closing stretch. And what happens, you blow out Sanford. You beat Pittsburgh and you annihilate New England because none of them were good and annihilate Denver to Yeah, but all I didn't look at that. He's charged with first degree murder in first degree arson. Abdi waived his right to appear in court today. Prosecutors say Abdi set fire to his own house in south Seattle late last month while his family was sleeping. Inside is 15 year old son was rescued from the fire but later died from smoke inhalation. Obvious set to appear in court later this month, where he's expected to enter a plea. And an arrest has been made in connection to a serious of burglaries and arsons north of Seattle. Cuomo's Bill O'Neill has the story. The 42 year old suspect was arrested as he was leaving his home in Marysville. Investigators say they found some of the stolen items inside. Marriageable fire marshal alerted police to a serious of suspicious fires that occurred over the past month. I've seen how Mike developed his running game with all those different backs and how Kyle's doing it now with Raheem Mostert, Jeff Wilson, you name him that so many different Names. I was going to ask you. What was the secret sauce that Mike and Kyle have? It isn't Bobby Turner, you know is running backs Coach. Is that the way their offense of line blocks? Well, I mean, I know we don't get to where we're not gonna go to a film session here in 60 seconds. But what is the secret sauce on the run game mark? Well, I think one is getting all 11 players that believe in it to adhere to it to believe in it to get involved in it. And then with Kyle, it's You can take one play. Right. You could run. Let's call in 19 hand off and you could run 19 Hand off 19 handoff force. You can insert guys and different in different places. You can have the tight end, you know, go across the formation all suddenly becomes 19 handoff week so you can essentially move one or two players. Right in that in that steam. Nine guys are doing exactly what they always do. 100% of the time you moved to guys, and it looks like a completely different play to the defense. They have to react differently. They have to move differently because of strength moves. Everything moves the player in search from a gap to a big gap to his D gap in that movement, and so when you presented to the defense Nine guys are doing the same thing they do every single time. Two guys were doing something different, and that one play now looks to a defense like 12 place. And so it just makes them play on their heels, and everybody is committed to it. And that's that's the beauty of of, you know the way they run the ball and how they execute those things. And so they do a just an incredible job of doing that, and And you know everybody being on that same page. Well, well said, and then you're right. They do it and they run the ball beautifully. Uh, so it was being in that system, so we're sort of Ranger trade. And San Francisco paid a lot of money, but they didn't have to give up a lot because we didn't want to cripple the team uses going to and then we assumed he would start from the start. And then, uh, Law school. Yeah, he had to find various things to occupy a sign because His presence made Montana the most competitive he's ever been, and he had great years on Al Davis. I loved Al Davis. So you see traits of a good runner. Now we're not going to sit here and say he's Derrick Henry. But at the end of the day, I I think that a runner still have to have traits to do this Now. We don't know if Jeff Wilson is a guy that if you play him for 16 games with Russia 1500 yards, we don't know that about Raheem Mostert. Either. Re moster is obviously a very explosive guy who runs Probably harder than people think is well. Neither one has been in a situation when he's asked to be the guy for 16 weeks and durability is a Is a trait for running back If you're going to be a quote unquote foundation back in this league durability is a factor. Neither one has shown that trade at this point in their career, so we don't know that. But if you're just looking at running traits, athletic traits, they've got pretty good traits. Well, I really like one or I think he's the past three linebacker in the league because he plays every snap and that I think he's a three down linebacker. I think he's great. Um, you know, I think his experience in college at BYU basically almost being kind of a hybrid linebacker, safety slot corner, you know has allowed him to be what he is in this league. But I really liked Reno. I remember watching him coming out of Arkansas thought he was a really interesting player. Um, didn't have the size exactly that people were looking for, Um he was a late around pick. But I think in the two years he's been with the Niners.
