"jeff tremaine" Discussed on 10 Things To Tell You

"About our love story. You can imagine that he was just thrilled to sit down and talk about all that mushy staff with me but it turns out it's not really all that mushy in I've talked about how jeff and I met we were friends first than we dated and we married I've told the story so many times in real life at dinner parties online I actually got a sense of deja Vu while we were recording may here's the thing. Even, still in this conversation with my husband who I wake up with every morning. I still learn something new about how he felt about our early relationship how he saw us then how he saw me and it was just a reminder that we tell these stories differently he sees that time period and our relationship from a different angle and while I don't always want to constantly be rehashing old staff occasionally like say on anniversary it is nice to revisit. As, there are still things to learn from those conversations. So this week Jeff and I had fine remembering the versions of one another that struck up a friendship back in two thousand and two. But I, also want you to talk to a partner or a friend or any kind of significant other about your origin story together I want you to ask do you remember how we met? What do you remember about that time? Tell me Your version and then I want you to listen and share and remember together. If you're not romantically attached, you can always do this with a best friend with a work busty any kind of relationship in your life that has an origin story I'll be putting some specific prompts on social media this week to start and continue that conversation. I think you might be surprised at how your stories might differ on Stanton out to one another years. Later, it can be a really telling comparison. Now two caveats. This episode Jeff Uses more adult language than is usually on this show, and also we met on the set of his first film, Jackass the movie, and so there's many minutes spent on that time period and on that movie set, etc. So what I'm saying to you is that this is not an episode for little ears. We also almost forgot the MIC was on for a little bit, and so we ended up reminiscing about people and places from our past. It does not veer too far off track. I think it all does make sense in the end, but just a light warning that this isn actual conversation between spouses spouses who have been in quarantine together for over six months. And then lastly, the secret posts are going out this week secret posts are emails that I send with all the stuff I don't want to put out widely the Internet it's behind the scenes information like this week I'm going to let the secret post subscribers know the date for the upcoming one day H. Challenge. There are things in there that are a little more intimate than what I really wanNA share on a blog post, and then it is also A digest of all of my book reviews current style and makeup recommendations, and then of course, announcements and insider info. In fact, over the coming weeks, I will be sharing some stuff in the secret posts that I have never shared before some things that have been a long time coming to get on the secret posts list you go to ten things to tell.

"I am not credited as a writer. I was a consultant resulting. Okay. That way you don't only go in for a couple of days with ridiculousness, but you both were in their room every day for awhile about, so you don't have to join the writers guild and right pay dues and all that stuff. But I was happy to be getting a check. I honestly was was like a an anchor there, like I would have gone insane if you had not been there. It's just like it was really. I mean, some of the top guys are actually the super funny off guys, but then you have to work under like really unfunny people who are running the room or like other people in the room who like our hires because of friendships. Like Jeff Tremaine is like one of the top producers. He's the guy that jazz. Yes. So he had a friend of his. Do you remember this guy? Chris vaguely was like a skateboarder who knew Jeff Tremaine for basically his his theories that Jeff Tremaine ripped off big brother like the magazine that formed his entire empire off of, you know, like like he stole it from Chris sort of thing. And Jeff Tremaine does like nice things for them like, oh yeah, you could be consulting producer on the thing. But this guy was basically a bartender skateboarder who would just get a Nyla drunk. And one day he likes showed up in a cops outfit, and he was just annihilated drunk. And like, I don't think. I think it was still that season or the next one. And like the head writers like she just cannot deal with this like she's mortified and he's like, I'm Nyla drunk. He's dressed like a cop and he just lays down on the ground and like slowly start sleeping and she's like, okay, well, now you have to fire. Did he admired? Yeah, it was like, you know, he just kept pushing it. He was just mad that it's like, you know, he got like he in his is, you know, I should have been shared. I who may Jack say, he's not funny. You know what I mean? Yeah, exactly. That's been every TV show I've worked on. There's always. Hired as a favor in everyone else's. Just like I in worked to be here and making dispatcher story. You're making this worse. I've heard stories of that unfunny friend, higher being the boss. Brian cook was telling me about his job. He had where like they literally could not get scripts through because the person that was I get, it wasn't a show. It was a studio. And so it wasn't a show runner. They were the person that had to approve everything. They just didn't understand what it was to laugh. And they were like, why did you send me this? Well, because it's funny like what's funny about it and would be asking what's funny about it meaning literally, please explain to me what's funny about it because I don't ever laugh. I it table read for show yesterday and the script was so fucking funny. So funny everyone in the room who is not an executive was in tears, laughing, and you look across the room at every like person who's like responsible for moving shit. Ford just looking. I'm. I'm the president of lights on set. That's my job. Just like it's like, what do you do?.
