"Junior excited be here today because this is a training camp special. It's a fun time of year because training camp is kicking off. Today is the first day of the team in pads so finally there's a lot going on. Hopefully you all enjoyed the cross pond. Crossover show last week. If you didn't go back and check that out but this week we're gonna go right to your twitter questions and get some of roth's observations rodman in person in camp. I haven't been able to make it there yet. But ron is our is on the ground. So we're going to hear from him But Before i get too far ahead of myself ron you doing today. I'm good matt. i'm good it is. It is finally feeling like football season after a long offseason. Felt like that was just the anticipation of waiting for like to see the new line to see the new faces on defense to just kind of waiting for everything finally kind of come to a head. We have stuff to talk about so yeah no. I'm excited let's get into it. Let's get right to your questions from twitter. Jake wilson at jake for now. Always asking good questions. I what play call or strategic changes. Do you predict with our new offensive line and clyde edwards and developing adding in gravy powell. Mckinnon man. I'm getting fired up. Just just thinking about this. What do you think they're gonna do strategically on offense. That's different with this new. Look on offense. Well jeff schwartz on twitter. Everyone knows jeff schwartz. Right brother mitch shorts. Obviously he's already pointed out one big thing that we've seen at them run at camp and we've talked about this a little bit too but the The new gap scheme runs and one of them is the guard tackle counter. And it's funny. Actually i have some Some some lower level expertise on this particular play because my senior year of high school actually was our staple run play. I mean that was the are are. We ran it basically every time we ran around play because we were spread offense and threw a lot so i love me. Some guard tackle counter. I think it gives you a lot of ability Because these these lime are pulling through the whole right one of them's kicking out of defensive end one of them's coming up through the hole and you're not talking about a fullback leading through the whole you're talking about a big dude that can take on a linebacker and bury them into the ground and and actually move him. You know a fullback maybe just gets in front more and and and give them a pop but you know if you got joe -tuni- or you know on the other side trey smith obviously coming through that hole and it's it's it's gonna it's gonna be you know someone's getting put into the ground so i'm excited for that. 'cause they didn't run a lot of it last year actually did see him on film Running with remers and wiley a couple of times and it just didn't really go anywhere. It was when lady on bell was getting a lot of the carry. So that is that is the the guard tackle counter thing and and that's the offensive line. But there's a lot of other stuff too. But i'll let you if you wanna talk anything about that offensive line part of it. We only just had this visual of of remers and wiley trying to lead. Leave ya bill through the whole and it feels like a probably a slow motion version of and this this season. We've already seen some of it on film from camp. I saw at least one play. That was highlighted. By a number of people where you had orlando brown and joe -tuni- ledin leading the way and that was a very different look than what we've seen in very different from those other guys. That would have been trying to run that same play last year so that that's certainly going to be a piece of it. i think noah gray probably expands the member of titan multiple. Tight end sets. We're gonna see. And and i think ryan use a lot of that camp as well right. Yes that is another emphasis point that i had. I took away from campus. That they were hammering. Those three tight end sets especially on monday. The the last day before pad you guys will be. Listen to this on wednesday. They were hammering. Those three tight end sets add Bell as the third tight end than gray and kelsey a really great kelsey the ones being targeted out of those sets Calcio a few nights catches gray had won a one night sketching and another back shoulder attempt at he. It was a tough catch to make sure. But i you know i. It wasn't the easiest catch either so can't fault them too hard on that but yeah so three tight end sets. I do want to say another thing. He mentioned mackinnon. I think that actually factors into the guard tackle counter thing because on that play reading that backside in no one is blocking like the packers poland. So that that end is free. He's free to go with the running back or not. So if that end goes to the running back home will pull it and then you might have if you have a to running back. Set the running back. That's not getting the hand off is coming around and getting into the flat and that's where that can turn into a quick. You know a swing screen like jerick mckinnon who has look good and camp. So far he has looked explosive. He feels as good as he ever ever has. I think mckinnon's actually gonna have a pretty big spot on this team and mahomes gonna act like a to. I think they all all the Offensive staff and the players kind of acting like mckinnon is going to be a role player this year. Yeah there's some excitement around him. So you're saying you could use a counterplay like that to set up a misdirection or would you use mckinnon as outlet in that situation or both. Yeah so yeah so like. It's amazing like a shotgun with a running a running back on either side of a home. So let's say the run is going to the rights of the running back on the left is getting that handoff but at that end crashes down on that back mahomes can pull it. That running back is actually maybe in motion to we've seen them do it in motion that orbit motion tyreek. He might be coming around the other side. And so with that with the linebackers getting sucked into the run and that end getting sucked into the run you give mckinnon space to the left open field. Maybe two blockers ahead of him. You know to receiver set out there. Yeah that's that's something that They'll utilize in and they do that. Motion and that motion is going to be part of that play and that actually will sometimes hold that and so there's more room up the middle if the end wants to commit to the to the motion back yeah. There's a lot of easy. They're certainly a more physical offensive line and with the creativity of reading the misdirection plays that they run all the skilled player positions that they have. I think it's going to be interesting to see how creative get. There's gonna be some new wrinkles. There's already looks a little different this year than it did last year. Just in those ways that you mention another way might be with watkins departure. Are they going to rely a little less on that traditional role and let mccoll be mccoll as a number two wide receiver. Not trying to force him to play watkinson's role but figuring out ways to get him the ball continue to get him the ball maybe increases touches.
Chiefs release Eric Fisher, Mitchell Schwartz
"Are very lucky. Chris canty that we have breaking news. Because otherwise i would be sitting here yelling at human. They are yelling at me to go immediately to diana. Rossini lonzo has breaking news out of kansas city. Diana what are we have. Yeah adam schefter. Just broke at the kansas city chiefs have now made to gigantic cuts. Both of their tackle. Starting left tackle eric fisher and right tackle jeff schwartz. These two are key players on this offensive line. We know that they didn't play in the super bowl. Obviously eric fisher tours achilles right before so he was unable to play in it and jeff fisher was really working hard. Excuse me jeff. Shorts was really working hard to come back and he said on instagram himself that he was going to be one hundred percent ready to go for this upcoming season. We talked last week all about this week. Being a really difficult week we called it. A massacre at least one coach told me that. And that's what it is. Look at what. The kansas city chiefs are doing off of line that we knew were struggling in the super bowl because they didn't have those two guys no longer on the team. Now
Kansas City Chiefs unveil Super Bowl LIV rings
"Welcome to. The podcast for one of the hosts thinks playing guard means lurking next to the door in part synthetic truck that drives by that's me. I'm just getting. That's Lenny. And it's appropriate because I am joined today by a human being who played guard if you have to fill for eight seasons. That's right. Jeff Eight. Eight seasons just made it eight. That's the voice of Jeff Schwartz the host of the NFL podcast. Geoff Schwartz is smarter than you jeff is currently well. He's doing this podcast when he was just before we started, he was watching the super bowl ring ceremony for the Kansas City chiefs, which is the thing I did not know was happening until he told me. Yes and I feel very i. feel bad for them because this is supposed to be an I'd never won a super bowl but I've always wanted to one and the party looked so much fine. The Ring Ceremony Party they have like an April every year I mean it's a giant using I was at the Super Bowl. My. On my brother cheese right tackle I was at the Super Bowl postgame party when the chiefs one, they had flow rider and pit bull performed it was unbelievable. I imagine this'll be equally unbelievable but these these poor guys are just like. Wearing the masks are supposed to they're just walking out grabbing their rings. And Mike Moving on their families are putting together a message which is awesome. Just feels like this is like I I know the won the Super Bowl I feel bad for them. This is like nothing.

"It's great to have you on Monday. Chris Broussard stopping by perk. Kendrick Perkins Jeff Schwartz in studio, where Colin was right. We're calling was wrong. Forty minutes from now, joy, Taylor. Is joining me it is great to have yen. So I sat and watched every second yesterday. The raptors Milwaukee, it's my job. It's what we do, and my big conclusion, and I felt this by about the, the middle of the second quarter on these, these teams aren't beating Golden State, come on. Come on. Stop love you Drake. Love you the people of Canada loved him. Horton's it's Leonard and four guys terrified to shoot in a big spot. This isn't even the NBA finals. This is just the conference finals. You're at home. If you don't have confidence there. I mean, Fred van bleed. The missed free throws. They are terrified. I mean at some point Colli, Leonard who is even more amazing than the word amazing. Just took it a game over. And it's remarkable a guy can dominate in, in small doses against other great players like that. Toronto's they're not ready to win the NBA finals come on now and I'm watching this yesterday, and I'm thinking, what do we know about Milwaukee? The east is weaker than the west, the Celtics couldn't get their act together all year long in Toronto's a one man team. What do we know about Milwaukee well during the regular season yard Denver was great during the regular season? They couldn't be beat at home during the regular season. Then Denver couldn't get out of the second round in Las three games at home in the mile high city. These are not. These are teams are not beating the warriors warriors are gonna have rest. They're more experienced. You know, it's thinking about this, if the warriors win tonight, and they're all beat up, not just Katie and boogie. I mean Andrea Guatemala. He played eighteen minutes less than he did on average is playoff. So he's hurt. They get nine days off, if they went in Portland tonight. Well, young teams like Milwaukee don't want nine days off. They want to keep playing young teams have the energy they overcome injuries. The warriors have Steph got a finger issue. Andre Igwe dolla had to go to the training room in the first half..

"That's Tom Brady live at the podium following the Super Bowl as they live looking. Radio the Super Bowl win over the Los Angeles Rams thirteen to three. No. That's our theme song actually for today here in our super post game show on ESPN radio the SPN app along with Jeff Schwartz and Bobby carpenter. I think Andrew Whitworth the Rams tackle summed it up. Well after the game when he said, quote at the end of the day, we're all going to die. Tonight's way to put it. Nice sunshine lollipops way to look at life. He's not wrong. Fact he's one hundred percent right now. Speaking of right, if Vegas is correct, it appears the Kansas City. Chiefs will be your Super Bowl champions next year. They are the favorites. According to west gate LV super book, they opened the odds to it next year Super Bowl and and the chiefs right now had the second best odds when the book opened but right now it's the chiefs with top odds following by followed by New England. They're six six to one by the way, the chiefs followed by New England the Rams and the saints second-best at eight to one at west gate. No other team has odds in the single digits teams with the next best after that Steelers. Chargers bears at fourteen to one at super book. The Cleveland Browns are among sixteen games at twenty to one. So we. We left last segment talking about how many more Tom Brady can win. It's hard to. I think people are life lessons about this that they continue to learn every year, which is don't just don't pick against him. You'll be bright more often than not if you just pick with Tom Brady and the patriots. But Jeff start with you, Mr. prop bet money line over under. What chance would you give the patriots to do it again next year? I mean, they're going to look at this and say disrespected again, no one believes. Yes. Kansas City needs to prove or defense. Indianapolis will continue to get better. That'll be a tough test for to give the patriots Cleveland's better. Houston should theoretically be better. But again, New England still the favourite noon still has a bad division can still run through that division and the end up with a home playoff game again or have now remember there are one hell, Mary, we're you know, we're funnel play against Miami. For being the number one seed closely. It already been the chiefs. I like just from a value angle is Philadelphia twenty two one to win the Super Bowl. Carson Wentz should be back healthy ready to go. And then Lanta forty-one Atlanta has a lot of talent there replacing all through the coordinator's office special teams. But this is a healthy. And they have a good opportunity to get back to Super Bowl. Yeah. Just doesn't necessarily feel right? The one issue with Philly to me is you look heard they're going to potentially pick up. Nick foles is option like get got some quarterbacks issues that they've got to straighten out two guys that can both play, but they can't play at the same time. So let's you're gonna have to make a decision. It wouldn't surprise me. But just you have to make sure that you do everything in the locker rooms all on board with you. I've learned this year. That's the chargers to beat the paths in the division around the playoffs. I'm never doing that again. Tom versus time. Tom is undefeated still time is taken a couple of L's from him. And because of that like, I've got to watch his demise. Jeff said earlier he did deteriorate a little bit throughout the course of the season. A lot of quarterbacks do that a little bit older. They monitor the number of throws. He takes some practice when he takes hits. It obviously affects him more during the season. I store should make throws there were very very difficult and you need to make you down the middle of the field, some deep balls. A he looked really good when he has time. He can step up in the pocket. He's just as good as he's ever been functionally out on the field, and you saw that manifest itself tonight. So he's got six rings. And as as we talked about where does he put that ring? Jeff you said middle finger. Yes. Yeah. Put a put out in the middle finger Bobby had a different answer, which we won't repeat, but family show, Bobby how many more maybe hanging on his said, maybe it's more. How many more rings for Tom Brady because like you said no signs of slowing down. I mean, look he's every day passes. He's getting closer to retirement. We get that in Costa glide, he's closer to dying. Yes. We are all. At the end of the day. We all we're all gonna die. Thank you. Andrew whitworth. But how many more Bobby? Overrun overrun one and a half a half. I'm taking the disrespecting Tom at all. If you told me that about any player in the NFL how many Super Bowls instead over or one and a half, the smart money would be on the under for sure. All right point five. That's a different story over oh, gosh, that's crazy thing. But I would be with Jeff and take the over. I don't know how you can pay against them again. Like, they keep winning these games. Remember who was the who's the more talented team? Chargers. Chargers were who's more cheeser patriots? I mean Rams are patriots. I mean, you look at these teams. It's not even close like match up stored for starter. You're probably taking on average between fourteen and fifteen starters off the Pat off the opposition of the parents, but the pats have twelve draft picks to have cap space like they have opportunity to go out and make their team better, especially wide receiver position with Belgian Forever's and has not been able to draft very well in his tenure. So they'll be back. And look I think for Tom Brady lava depends on his wife just saying like finally were done. Was this? They were Super Bowl all time. Oh, low outsor-, bad, blowouts or bad games. This was entertaining. It was in doubt until the final two minutes. We're Super Bowl then. The Broncos the Broncos the Broncos Seahawks. Forty three eight Broncos. Niners was bad. Niners Bronco Cowboys bills. The fifty five ten Steelers Cowboys like there were some blowouts that were not good. Most of the ones that growing up. That is true. I think I think that she's a. Support was far worse. Cheeses was at TCU. John cale. That was far worse. That would have been a great undercard to this far super post game show on ESPN radio ESPN app up next at sportscenter all night. Thanks, Jeff, Bobby, I met. Thanks for listening super postgame show,.

"Former panther giant Viking chief Jeff Schwartz offensive lineman. He's great his brother Mitchell Schwartz plank put achieve starting for the chiefs on the old line. And they're they're saying now wind chill in Kansas City will be minus fifteen degrees. It's going to be the coldest NFL game in a half decade Arctic blast advantage New England. I am not though for that. Oh, no Lord. Lord. I went to college in a cold place. And then I went and lived in Connecticut. What's a cold place? And I really preferred living in Las Vegas and here, which is not a cold place quits. Berg is also known for ability of getting an Arctic by is it. Oh, yeah. Blizzard's? It's it's I mean, it's the same kind of weather is Connecticut or Kansas City. I think there's three teams this weekend. The patriots Rams and chiefs. I think could win games on a neutral field home in a way. I gotta tell you. I don't feel it with New Orleans. I don't think they could beat the Rams in LA. And I don't think they could beat him on a neutral field. I think if they do beat them it's because they're at home. Here's an interesting thing seasons. Don't look at a season holistically Bill Belichick historically September. They experiment early October. They experiment by thanksgiving on their great. And they're always best in December January. He's the best coach ever in. It's incredibly incredibly predictable. Andy Reed has generally been great September October early November. He's had trouble finishing later for a variety of reasons. Maybe he's a place scheme designer. He.

"I'm Jeff Schwartz alongside Jordan. It's been a fantastic show, George. I really enjoyed the first time we've done do this together. I like mixing a little basketball basketball flavor to this show. Yeah. Man. It's fun to be out here with you. Look, the legend precedes, you my friend. You've worked with my fiance have before. And she she I thought she may have oversold with the potential liver. Overdeliver? Awesome fantastic. And you said she actually listened tonight. So good. She did. So there will be some critiques things. I go at the end of the show. I will be hearing about tax, but it's been a fun ride. Man. It's been fantastic. All right. We're great weekend of football. Obviously. There was some other sports because there with a UFC fight as well. There was there was two two fights last night on one of the women's side won the men's side. We call it football. Obviously yesterday pro football today, I'll start with you joy hear this one biggest surprise of the weekend for you. Biggest surprise of the weekend would have to be something, you know, this is from a personal note. No doubt, you know, being at my alma mater and having traveled down to Dallas to watch Notre Dame and the college football playoff game versus Clemson. I firmly believe that Notre Dame did belong. I still do believe the Notre Dame did belong, and I am a little surprised by the outcome of the game. I did not anticipate nor did a lot of people there, especially as you got towards the end of the. That first quarter, and it was all knotted up three to three. I firmly believe that this was going to be a more even match up with the opportunity down towards the end of it for Notre Dame to win it. And I did think there were some unfortunate things have changed overall. How the how the rest of the game played out with some injuries most notably Julian love for Notre Dame. And then that got exploited and open the game up a little bit. But I was disappointed with how Notre Dame responded. Even despite those obstacles, I thought they'd make it a little bit more competitive. I thought they put up some points to me the takeaway from that was the surprise of that was is. Wow, I think people need to put some respect on Trevor Lawrence's name nineteen year old freshman quarterback for Clemson Clemson in the program that they are in the team if they'd been maybe this whole year, we simply didn't know about there's something to be said for teams that have been there before especially coach that has been there steadfastly for last four years of this rise meteoric one from Clemson, I mean, how long ago does Clemson sound to the listener out there that that was the phrase for Clemson who would just when the opportunity was right? They do something wrong. Those days are over. And I think we need to start to appreciate what Dabbas built here and in these moments his his football acumen, really comes to the forefront is propelled this team back to a place where they've a great opportunity to beat Alabama. So I'd say for me the biggest prize was. Just how good this constant Tigers football team is. Yeah. I was comes. We're not like that doesn't surprise me. Too much. I will say that. What surprised the cultural side was just like stop trying the middle. Second quarter was just shocking. They're up twenty nothing, and they just shut it completely down. And I always feel as Ryan you thought they just let up. The. Off lost one hundred percent. Yeah, they slow down. Stop throwing the ball against the worst passing defense in the country. I think you can never have enough points in college football points are complete pre. You can never have enough in college football. I I guess you want to preserve your defense and knocking Murray the ball, but he was always gonna get his and eventually got there. So I mean this court to a thirty four points, right? Thirty four it's still a decent amount of points. Not not fifty or something. Right. But they still got the points in the game. I just felt able to put up like sixty five sixty three if they wanted to. So that wasn't terribly surprised but easily for me, I think we've touched on this tonight is the Vikings no show today. I mean, you're you're you're one win away from making the playoffs in a year where you signed cousins, and we know windows, the NFL or small with the patriots do is not normal. You don't have a dynasty for fifteen sixteen years the Seahawks right there back in the playoffs. Now, we thought they were the. The next big thing. Right. They had legion of boom that that Russel Wilson marshawn Lynch, the offense ally, Baldwin all all these guys here and there one championship. And yes, there were close to one another one, but they didn't win it right painting. Any Broncos won championship? A we thought the Panthers. We Cam you. And we're going to be back. Once you rule appearance. It doesn't have the falcons, right? Nowhere to be seen after they made the Super Bowl. It doesn't happen like that. And so you have a short window right now to make it happen and the Vikings Buddha window the so far this year. Mike Zimmer the head coach is gone. I think long and hard he fired as oh see that was the problem. He said three oh season two years. Now, that's not Jeff I don't think he's I think he's a name that could be a splash on Monday that he's given a pink slip. I I. He's just one of those one of those guys that could be the big surprise come Monday in terms of. I mean, he's done a magnificent job. But this year, you could argue that there are some, you know, chaos with personnel. And you mentioned the three coordinators, but then fourteen win team a year ago. You spend all that money on one guy that just simply didn't work. But it's how flat the performance was today. I think that you're talking about which I'm until agreements on. It's just surprising to me case keenum did so much more with this team a year ago. And I walk it that that argument with Adam feeling on the sidelines. I just think that's indicative of what this season was for a team that should have maxed out on the opportunity with Aaron Rodgers that team an influx a second year quarterback with Mitch Trubisky aligns team that has this was the opportunity. This is a missed opportunity for them. No question. Yeah. It was in Georgia. I really. Hope we can do this again at some point..

"Turbulence at ESPN radio at Jeff Schwartz. That's Jeff with the G at Kirk Morrison as well. So we had a interesting game today down in Tampa Bay. Washington. Redskins were missing the left tackle hard the right guard. The right tackle had a big lag inevitably lost another lineman during the games. They were down four off a alignment in this game. Tampa bay. At four hundred ninety eight yards offense and the Redskins won sixteen to three. Tampa Bay had had four four turnovers was over five or the red zone missed field goals really really odd game. But so far the rest of the year have one on the road against the cardinals. They lost a terrible gave you member in New Orleans on Monday night football. They beat the giants in MetLife. And they beat the buccaneers away and after the game. Josh Norman, we know never want to shy away from giving an opinion cut ripped the Redskins fans for the way finished field is on Sundays, for instance, home games. Come on, man. On a road. Home. Now. "I am Jeff Schwartz alongside Danny graves embarrass Jones. And we head back out to Dodger Stadium to hear what losing manager. Dave Roberts had to say about game five in the World Series in general. Would you see from Clayton tonight? I thought I thought he had really good stuff. I did. I thought he was mixing the fastball. Two different quadrants. I thought competed like you always does I thought the slider was good. I thought the breaking ball was good. There are a couple of mistakes in there with the fast ball. Pierce JD the ball that just didn't get there. And the Mookie slider just sit and get there. And that's a good club over there. Very good club a great club. And. So when he did make a mistake they hit the ballpark, and you gotta give credit to David price over there. He puts a heck of a ballgame. And couldn't put together couldn't get baserunners and really stress him at all. So. Was pretty straightforward. But I can't say enough about you know, what Clayton what our guys did. And unfortunately, we can shorting issue. Bradford on third row. You can you say just to sum up your club this year, you know, all year, you've kind of gone up to the edge and always come back from a and finally he just ran up against a really good team. Well, I can't say enough about our ballclub the fight the compete all year when when it didn't look so good our guys stuck together. Stay the course and believed in one another and put ourselves in a chance to win a championship. And that's not easy to do to get to the World Series. Where two teams are playing at the end the very difficult. There's a lot of hard work that that comes with it. A lot of sacrifice and you've got to have good players. And we did that this year are bachelor against the live numerous times. And there were markers points where we could have went the other way. But we found ways to win baseball games and ran up against a very good ball club and just a little bit too much for us. Arosh over here. When you come so close what? Now in your mind is needed to get over the hump. We've just got to go back out there. And and I expect us to be back here next year. But celebrating on the field. I think it's I think the culture the players as far as the the large majority are in place. I think there's a lot of good things. I think the some of what we've what we're doing. What we've done is the arrows pointing certainly in the right direction and. Baseball. So unpredictable. You got obviously give yourself a chance to get to the postseason. And once you get there, you just gotta be planning your best baseball. And so thick you look back in. You gotta appreciate the talent the team that you're playing against. I don't think we played our best, but part of it, and you got a lot lot of it is you gotta give credit to the opponent. And. We had a lot of time to think about this one. But again springs that'd be around the corner. And like I said, I expect us to be here next year. Dave Roberts from Los Angeles after the tough loss and ESPN radio is presented by progressive insurance. Protecting your small business is a big deal cover. What you've worked for. Visit progressive commercial dot com. I'm just Schwartz alongside Danny graves and bear Jones this locker room on ESPN radio conversation. I've wanted to have for a while. And I slowly sort of have on Twitter. I am central giants baseball fan. So I'll start this conversation by saying that so maybe I'm a little bit biased toward the toward the giants in in my hatred for the dodgers will show a little bit here. But Clayton Kershaw is one of the best pitchers of this generation. He is a surefire first ballot hall of Famer we had boo. Shotgun earlier who called him a top five pitcher maybe ever by the time. He's done at least top ten. I mean, he's he's had in two thousand fourteen is era for the season was one point seven seven era in the regular season is two point three nine. His whip is is just about one which is ridiculous. I know he owns the giants watching play against the giants. But it's postseason pitching has not been this. This is not include tonight, but it's not gonna help. But his era in the postseason is four point two eight has whip is a little bit higher. He doesn't quite do the same especially when he gets to the third time around the order, and I just feel like Danny on this first since you play the game, obviously. Why does he keep getting a pacifist? I feel like if you are the best pitcher of generation you should be the best pitcher in the postseason. I it's a small sample size. And which is the argument that book made I understand I understand that. But we're seeing a panel, right? This is a closeout game tonight. For the Red Sox? But a game the dodgers had to win to stay alive. He gives up a two run home run in the top of the first inning Red Sox are paid to play baseball too. They have good players are the best team this year. But we keep seeing this repeated pattern from from Kershaw, and I feel like because we liked the guy and he's such a great pitcher in the regular season. So elite that we give them a pass for not being that guy in the postseason. Do you really think that he's getting a pass? Yes. Almost every baseball guy that I follow on Twitter gives him a pass every single time. Like, they blame. Oh Boston's a good team. Yeah. They're good team. Oh, you know, the catches. It wasn't in Milwaukee. A catcher's interference on that one plane, and there was a scene I single and oh just his stuff wasn't. There was a third time through the order like all these excuses. And maybe this is all my daughter friends who to six excuses to me, we all these all clinker Shaw. Jefford here. Yes Kershaw as now allowed eight home runs and potential elimination games. It's the most of any pitcher name it'll be history. Boom Barrett from the top rope. I can't I can't argue against his poor postseason pitching. But I honestly believed that he doesn't get a pass. And I get it. You probably have guys saying that you know, trying to make excuses for him. And the only thing I can say about that is he's a genuinely nice guys. So they're trying to find something. Good to say. That makes any says not that that's the right thing to do. But you know, at the end of the day one other topic. Yes, exactly at the end of the day. I think he is taking heat for it. People are criticizing him left. And right, just like they were David price up until this these last two rounds, so layoffs thirty seconds ago, thirty minutes ago. Yes. I mean, it's gonna it's gonna take Clayton Kershaw to have a couple of good games in a row. He's had good gains. But just he doesn't put them together throughout the whole postseason. So it's going to take that and hopefully change everybody's opinion on fair. Not your legacy. A lot of times in sports coming down. What happened in the postseason? Well, coming up next. We'll talk about David price. It wasn't too long at Boston fans want nothing to do with him. And now, they love him, of course, World Series champions. How'd he turned things around that's next eastern radio and the ESPN app? David.
