"Experience as a five year engineer. They mean definitely. Yeah i learned a lot from the experience You know one point work. Twenty five days straight sixteen hours a day then rolled over into more stuff for the kill wells and stuff like that. I was dealing with the at one point. In time i was dealing with the vp of golf mexico for halliburton and the operation manager max directly giving them updates. Because i got very involved in the bunch stuff. You talk about exposure. Yeah Actually bp gulf mexico's. Now the of alberton. Okay jeff miller sorry jeff was my vp at the time and so from that actually rolled in. I got recruited to be a project manager within halliburton because they realize that can handle juggle bunched up at once. So then. When i went to in house marathon i was a project manager which makes a mouse in house completion in jail for deep water so smart and all services for deep water. Oh okay all right. maybe good connections. There they went in house at shell after that. And then i hit a point my career. I realize you know looking for opportunity. Go the next step. Do i want to continue my kurth albert in which alborz great to me a great experience. There i don't wanna look at the operator side. Add mentioned earlier. Pretty much stuff was going to be moved international or jumped on operator. So i'd started through my resume out there interviewed with marathon murphy and then i was talking to an old boss. Halpern bob moon. Indonesia and in the marathon job popped up and decided to go for that kind of it worked out well because the connections made in house. You actually interviewed a marathon. One of the managers time said oh. I don't i don't need him. he's good things he knew. What was it like do get accepting that a that offer from an operator even at the service for so long. So i was more nervous about the quitting side accepting Because albert had been good to me inadequate experience there and manage time early liked him at ten respect for him. He was actually in lafayette. I was in houston so we don't even in the same city. So i wanted to do it face to face. I'm having to do it over the phone. Just because we're never in saint spot time wise.

"They do lose that 1 37 to 21 with Houston at home today, and he and his What I was hearing and seeing watching like Red zone today, and some of the mistakes that Trevor Lawrence was making was like he's going to have to learn. You heard announcers say that over and over again, like he's going to have to learn this. He's going to have to learn that so I just I watch it with the thought of of Justin Fields and what we will see from him and where to kind of measure him up to some of these other guys that played full games today. I mean, Zach Wilson. Obviously the Jets are going to jet that's just who they are, but he sex six times. I mean, like that doesn't feel productive to me. Yeah, no, he he struggled the Jets as a whole struggled. I will say I do want to Reject the notion of the Jets being the Jets just yet, because I'll give them a little bit of leeway because I do believe Robert Salad. Their new head coach is going to be a good head coach in this league, and so I don't want to just put the whole thing like they have a new regime change. And so I'll give them a little bit of leeway before I go ahead and they can prove that I'm wrong and they can just go ahead and be the Jets. J. E. T s Jets, Jets jets, right? We'll give them space and grace to grow right. Exactly. Hold out the judgment on week one. I try and be a little more nuanced as a as an analyst when I put my house cap on d N, but Also around the league, Your browns, Dion your grounds. They looked good early, but I'm not right. I won't talk about it. Wow, Lost 18 Street openers. A lot of people have been very excited about the Browns. They picking them to win the A F C north this year Because of all the injuries the Ravens have had to deal with. Lot of people think Ben may be done in Pittsburgh, and so it looks like it's the opportunity for the Browns to go ahead and claim their division finally, and they looked really good early against the Chiefs in Kansas City. But it's September and it's Patrick Mahomes, and he is still undefeated in September. He is now 11 0 in his career as he brought the Chiefs back after trailing at halftime 22 to 10 Browns have not one week one since 2000 and four That's a really long time. That is quite a bit. That's a long stretch of not winning. I'm disappointed because you even said it off the air. We were talking. You're like, Wow, 10 minutes feels like a really long time for the Browns, and it was. It was spelled the end for them. They were clinging to their lead as much as they could. But Patrick Mahomes goes for three touchdowns 337 passing yards Now Nick Chubb ran for two touchdowns. He rushed for 83 yards as well. But Tyreek Hill had a long touchdown 197 yards on 11 catches and one touchdown today. So the chiefs even though they allowed the Browns, um to get up on them, they were able to come back elsewhere in Washington. The charges and Justin Herbert get themselves a win. Brandon Staley's first win as head coach. They beat Washington football team 22 16. The Seahawks Go ahead and Russell Wilson behind his four touchdown passes. Beat the Colts 28 to 16 Remember when we thought Russell Wilson was coming to show? No, it's all right, because, like, I'm glad you were like again, I had actually forgotten all about it because of the Justin Fields. Draft pick, and then you reminded us at the top of the show and was like that did happen. We spent like at least a month talking about the idea of Russell Wilson coming to the Bears, and I haven't I'm actually glad, though, that they were able to go ahead and draft Justin Fields because the truth be told. Everything that they were going to have to give up for Russell Wilson. I was in love with the idea of landing a franchise quarterback, but it was going to be very tricky. The thread that needle of how much is too much to give up and still still surround him with actual talent. Right and Justin Fields be here longer, like we're looking at 10 15 years hopefully, and the truth is that If Justin Fields if they landed the right guy. Having him on a rookie deal is going to be a huge advantage for the Bears in years, 23 and four where they can hopefully surround him with some elite talent land some free agents who maybe want to come and play with Justin Fields while he's on the rookie deal. That's the real value of having a good young quarterback on your tears. Of course, it opens up so many possibilities on the financial side. Alright, Well, zip around the league and tell you what else happened as we get set for bears and rams. She is Dan Miller. I'm Jeff Miller. This is The Chicago Bears pregame show. Brought to you by three key and Valparaiso University here on ESPN 1000 this This.

"We'll go back to Mike here shortly. But Dion the Packers get crushed 38 to 3 Jamis Winston. Throws five touchdown passes and again I'm not really surprised that the Saints beat the Packers, but I'm a little surprised in the manner in which they did so, uh, very surprised in the manner in which they five touchdown passes for James with 55 and zero interceptions, zero and and He got LASIK two seasons. I don't know. If you've heard I have heard that game changer. I stand here. I can attest that LASIK is a game changer. So, um, that is way. Let's not move past this too quickly, because here's the thing. Uh, I am. I'm not diminishing the fact that it helps to see better, right? But I'm surprised by the idea that having LASIK Would all of a sudden allow you to stop throwing interceptions? Two guys who are in different colored jerseys. How bad was his vision? Questions? The question. Right. Listen, I mean, We don't cover the saints here, but we may need to get on the horn with some of our ESPN brethren who do cover the saints and say, Listen, we need we need to sit down story. How bad was your vision? Jamis, right because, like five touchdown zero picks. And, uh, how bad was it? How glory were things? All right, Let's try. Let's try Michael, who's on the South side. Hey, Mike, You're not surprised that the Packers got thumped today, huh? Surprised because I don't need this is the same. Uh Rogers. This guy, don't he don't seem like he wants to be there anymore. Our guitars appearance. And they don't give it the traditional ways. Just just like that now, I mean, this is a good blueprint for the rest of the lead. What they did to me. Really? It was like there was not into it. I mean, they will look logic and he looks old. Uh, I mean, maybe he came back. Maybe he wouldn't have wanted to retire should have retired. So Mike thinks that now the door has been opened for the Bears, potentially to go ahead and claim the NFC North Now, uh, I think you know. Complete honesty here, D N and I have been watching the game but with one eye, because obviously we're doing the show, so I don't know if I can, you know, accurately tell you that the blueprint has been laid out for everybody now going forward to beat the Packers Percent. You know, this could just be a one off. The Saints are still a very good team. They were playoff team last year. Very good team. Yeah, They're very good team, and I think Jamie's too had something to prove. And And you know that where they're playing in Jacksonville. It's all odd. I mean, I agree, though, with Mike that Aaron Rodgers body language was not positive course they were getting beat badly the whole time. But next week, they play the Lions. I still feel like there is this is still the Packers. This is still they're going to turn things around. They know. I mean, I'm not sure Aaron will come out and say Relaxed, but I feel like that's really where his brain will be in this like everybody. Chill out. It's week one. We are going to be just fine. And I think that that's what we're going to see. But I will tell you it Bears fans want to do this just for fun. Go look at the standings right now. Bears are alone in first place. Now they do kick off in about 50 minutes. Things could change very quickly, but snap a photo with that mentally of that, the way that looks because that's That's the ultimate goal, right? I love it. It is. It's a great point that bears are alone in first place in the NFC North for the first time in the 2021 season. They haven't played yet, but everybody else has lost. So there you go. Take solace in that Bears fans correct and say that at some point during the 2021 NFL season, the Bears were indeed. In first place. We'll see if it's short lived, or if maybe the last all week that would be a very good thing. She's Dionne Miller. I'm Jeff Miller. We're here for your bears pregame show. We will be here all season long, two hours before the Bears game begins tonight, they have a 7 20 kick and NBC. The marquee matchup as the Rams Open up Sofi Stadium to their crowd this time, So we've got plenty more to discuss, including what exactly a longtime NFL veteran thinks a quarterback needs to get ready to play. Jeff Saturday tells you whether or not the quarterback needs to get game reps. We'll do that. Next Chicago's.

"Dame the fighting Irish survive an overtime thriller. Against the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday nights. Game in which they led 38 to 20. Heading into the fourth quarter and Brian Kelly, the Notre Dame head coach, was I'm sure happy with the victory, but Was clearly disappointed after the game wrapped up to the points where he decided he would channel his inner John McKay, Brian and I'm Jeff Miller, along with Brian Hanley. We're in for Cap and Jay Hood this morning, fellas back tomorrow. Getting you set for the Bears opener against the Rams. So Brian Kelly, though after the game goes to ESPN sideline reporter Katie George and offers up a or I suppose he was paying homage to John McKay, who For the folks out there who are unfamiliar, the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During the 1975 season when the team went winless. John McKay, the head coach at the time, was famously asked. What did you think of your team's execution? To which John McKay without dropping a beat, said I'm in favor of it, which led, I suppose to Brian Kelly after his team won a game despite blowing an 18 point lead in the fourth quarter. Spurred him to offer this up without without the question and t up. I'm in favor of execution. Maybe.

"Yeah. Um So, look, they have a ton of talent here. They've had a ton of guys step up who you didn't even, you know, expect to be in their plans this year to help fill for injured guys. No. That Tim Anderson thing is a little disconcerting, because, uh, you know, I know it's kind of like, you know, he go. We go because there are 500 team when he's not in the lineup. But Louis Roberts just coming on now being healthy, he's you know, looking every bit the part of being a franchise type player. Lawyers had you know he punishes the baseball. Still, Gray was Player of the month. I mean up and down. It's almost CEOs spoiled for choice of of, you know who's your best guy on the team right now is each guy has taken a turn. But In the playoffs. It's a different deal, and it's against teams with winning records, and I've been harping on this for two or three months now. Whites actually only division leading team playoff game right now, with a losing record against winning tapes and that that's got to change, and you don't have a whole lot of time to change that. But at least the mindset has to Sense of urgency has to change when you face the playoff caliber teams to prove you belong, yes, and to add fuel to that, like again. I'm hopeful that Tim Anderson will have an opportunity once you know his injured list. You know the hamstring. I think that's that was more, You know, precautionary, they figured Like you mentioned the 10 game lead gave them the love luxury. Sure to go ahead and sit him and I was actually happy. They did that because I was also discussing with Carmen. Why would you When you have this huge lead? Why would you play around with a day off here? Three days off, Then you play him again. That didn't make any sense to me at all. Just go ahead and give him the full 10 days. And see how he feels after that, because essentially, you're just running out the clock knowing that Cleveland doesn't have much chance to really realistically catch you. And so the Tim Anderson one. I'm not overly concerned about. I'm hopeful that he'll be back to being The igniter at the top of the order, but the starting pitchers, you know if they're not close to what they've been all season long, that's You know more troublesome because, like you just said it's going to be difficult to envision a scenario where they beat winning teams in the playoffs without those guys being just the shutdown stoppers that they've been at times. They may be able to scratch out a win here or there, but you're going to need your aces to do what they do if they're going to actually make a deep playoff run well, and you know, I know Last Sox fans were on Twitter. We're wringing their hands about the 15 and one uh, road series records since the All Star Break and I know toilet. Russo had the team meeting I thought was a very well time team meeting of the Field of Dreams game right before that, saying, Let's treat this next 16 games without a day off as a simulated playoff scenario, right? We're mental, mentally and physically, you just have to grind through it and be ready to go. And I think there are roughly 500 team through that stretch, but it was against, you know, the Yankees had caught fire Tampa Houston So they were playing the better teams and You know, maybe you certainly would have liked to seen a better record after that, But I like his mindset at and and trying to get the team's mindset right that. Take nothing for granted and let's let's know what you know what the expectations are. It's not about just winning the division we have. We have a much bigger picture here in a much bigger goal, and that's to be a World Series team. He's Brian Hanley. I'm Jeff Miller. We're in for Cap and Jay Hood this morning, the only man Who is actually answered more questions about Justin Fields than Albert Prayer. Talked to Albert Prayer about it. That of course, is Matt Nagy will tell you what Matt Nagy had to say. By asking Albert prayer himself. He joins Captain J. Hood every Tuesday at 8 35 during the football season. He joins us next. "Again. Don't forget we're out and about on Friday it's her first live show event for the Waddle and Sylvie Shell. Since February of 2020. There is the last time we did a That's I'm probably the last time I saw Michael Wilbon. Really, I'm trying because you know, I was out of the office for he came in for a bears game and did a show with you. I don't think I've seen WILBON in person since that Chicago cut show. Charles Barkley, right. All four of us were together. Yeah. Um, we've had some good, um, like in person moments. We went to a A Blackhawks game with Michael. We had a great Super Bowl dinner with Great Super Bowl dinner with Mike. We were again and then we were with him when he got into the Hall of Fame, or at least was announced the Basketball Hall of Fame. So we're going to be out on Friday, calling all all Western suburbanites we're going to be at crosstown Pub and Grill in Naperville. Have a world famous wings. Yes, that's what I'm told. It's Miller time, and we want to see you with us at crosstown Pub and Grill in Naperville will be nice to press the flesh. Can I wish you a happy anniversary to someone Can I would like to a lot of people actually happy anniversary to Sox fans today. You know what happened four years ago on this day you they traded Left handed pitcher Jose Quintana to your favorite team for Dylan Cease Eloy Jimenez and a couple of other pieces. This is the Make good for the Sosa, George Bell deal. Back in the day, The Cubs traded George Bell, who had a good year, the year they traded him think they went to the plast. The year they traded and Sosa came to came to the Cubs. This was a make good for that. This is one of the best trades and whites accessory. Santana was dealing at the time that they traded controlled and not only did they feel they were making a trade for a guy. That was going to give them a boost in the rotation because he was dealing. He was under their control to reasonable rate for the next two years. Right So it was almost like you make the trade. And you don't have to go out in free agency at the end of the year as well. Because you don't. I mean, you were it allowed you to go right? And that's how they got Darvish. Correct so that Dar vicious price came down the year he was a free agent, so they thought they were getting like a two for they had a controlled Jose Quintana. Along with still Jon Lester and everyone in Cal Hendricks. And then they got Darvish in contended to go alongside of them. You thought they were setting this thing up to go to a couple more times to the World Series. The biggest mistake they made wasn't necessarily this trade. It was not trading for Verlander. That was the one sort of there to me. There have been two crossroad moments for the Cubs. Oh, I know what they are. Can I guess the other one. The other one is not resigning. Nicholas Castan, right? When they were faced with the dilemma of Hey, Verlander wants to be a cub. I think he was struggling that year with a five e r A. And I remember Jeff Miller was saying to us the whole time You want Verlander? It's worth a shot here. Yeah, with Verlander. And the Cubs decided not to make the move. They made another deal with Detroit that year, and not the Castano Steel for the catcher. Remember that and they chose not to trade for Verlander, and instead they traded cease and the Loi Along with Matt Rose, an infielder Bryant fleet. For Jose Quintana four years ago today. Thanks, clubs. That was stinging right now. I know But look, every team's got him. I mean, the socks. All the sacks fans have to do is turn on the TV tonight and watch Fernando Tatty ease. That's true, you know, and we've all got them. They're there. All these general managers even when they're good. They have made some bad deals or deals that look.

"You find out what Carmen in your co we're talking about. Tell your smart speaker to play ESPN 1000. White Sox annihilating one against the twins. I don't care how bad the Minnesota Twins are the minister Twins. Have been a thorn in my side as a White Sox fan and Jeff Miller's side in the side of every White Sox fan for the last 20 years, 20 years, So I love this. You don't need to engage in any sort of beating in, you know, back and forth with Josh Donaldson or any of them. Just keep beating their ass, and that's what the white sacks are doing. They win 8 to 5, even though they suffered another injury. And it was your in Mankato with a very awkward slide into third base early in the game. I don't know either. I don't know what it was. But they win anyway. There now eating one against the twins, and, more importantly, their 27 12 versus the division, and they will have a chance to increase that record and make it even better. When they go to America Park to play the Tigers this weekend. So early pre game tonight after Waddell and Soviet for Game one of a three game holiday weekend set with Lance win on the bump against Casey Mayes. Do you know that the Tigers had a winning record in June? Not quite as bad as people think. But the socks have done well against them this year, so keep racking them up. And they are now five games clear of the Indians. The two biggest leads in baseball happened to be the two central divisions and the Brewers one last night, the Cubs Rydell, so that is now a 6.5 game lead that Milwaukee has Over the Cubs, So I'm very pleased at the way the White Sox are doing this, even though they're far from perfect right now they've dealt with a ton of injuries..

"Ah, year after George Floyd's murder. The Senate still hasn't taken up a police reform bill, named after him and passed by the House and Congress is still locked in heated negotiations over and infrastructure Bill. Republicans say they'll send a counter offer to President Biden this week. And there's outrage over comments from Republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene again and the lack of Republican response to them. Just to talk about with our political strategist this week. We have Jamal Simmons, the Democrat. Hi, Jamal. Hi. How are you? Good. And Alice Stewart, the Republican Hello to you as well. Hi, Robyn. Great to be with you. Good to hear and see or will not see, but be with you and I have to start with you, Alice. Once again, Marjorie Taylor Greene. Let me set this up. She compared Americans having to wear face masks to Jews having to wear what she called Gold stars. They were actually yellow and then she went on to say and getting in boxcars and going to gas chambers, she said. That's what we're facing. Nancy Pelosi's mask requirement in the House. She doubled down on that later. Ah Yellow Star actually marked Jews for ridicule and annihilation. A mask is to save lives. It took five days and the prodding of powerful GOP donor For any Republican leader to respond. The donor was Jeff Miller, he wrote of Green WTF is wrong with you. House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy condemned Greens comparison a few hours later, but just in a written statement, so there's no audio or video to be replayed. Alice Green is a favorite of Donald Trump. We know that Are Republicans. This afraid of Donald Trump? No and Robin. I'm glad to see whether it took five days. Isa question that baffles me, but I'm glad to see Republicans across the board giving a full throated. Condemnation of these appalling and quite idiotic statements, and she definitely needs to face consequences. And Robin as you say, Faith master about safety and protection. These yellow stars about stigmatization. And in advance of deportation for killing Jews and Marjorie Taylor. Greene not only needs to educate herself on this with regard to history, but she also needs to take a look back at how horrific these statements are. I have been to the Holocaust Museum in Israel. I have been to Auschwitz concentration camp and Birkenau. I have seen These gas chambers that she talks about with claw marks on the walls, people trying to claw their way out of these gas chambers. That is a far cry from what she experiences in the chambers of the U. S capitol. She needs to educate herself and she owes the Jewish people in apology, Gemma You know, I listened to this and I think about Congressman McCarthy, who? Kevin McCarthy, who It just seems in general. He's just a weak leader, you know, and I associate myself with dialysis remarks. But it seems in General McCarthy is just a weak leader because you know why can't he stand up to members of his caucus who are causing the rest of his caucus? So much trouble? And obviously there's the fear of what happens inside of some of the Republican primaries. You know, Nancy Pelosi has a pretty progressive wing of them. They're nothing like Taylor Green. But she's got a pretty progressive wing in her caucus that she seems to be pretty willing to stand up to and say, Hey, we're not going to do that. We're not for to fund please. I don't care how many times you say it. It just seems like McCarthy is not just not have the fortitude to be the leader and certainly not the speaker of the U. S house. Yeah, that's why are you able to say this? But it's not just McCarthy. It's all the top leaders in the GOP who finally made statements after five days. Why isn't she? You know, she was stripped of her committee membership. Why? Why can't they ban her? Well, look, they have done to this point What they can do as you say, removing her from our committee appointments, and I'm I commend them for finally denouncing her statements. But at the end of the day, it's her. People of her district that voted her into that spot, and it's those people that should certainly vote her out. But I think it's quite clear that Republicans have have made it abundantly known that this is not about the left attacking her anymore. This is anyone in the right mind who sees how atrocious her comments are and to be quite honest. What I'm hearing from a lot of Republican House colleagues of hers. Is that she needs to be more introspective herself and realize it. Is she herself a Republican. Should she be in this party? And should she find a new home because she certainly does not represent the views and values and thoughts of Republicans. Robin. One thing is they could they could vote. The Republican caucus couldn't vote her out of the conference. It would take two thirds of the Republican members to do it. It just doesn't seem like McCarthy has the votes and the support of his caucus. This bell hard to get her out of the Republican Conference. Well, and we just wait to hear what she'll say next, but meantime, Jamal, you mentioned your party. There's some debate within the Democratic Party. After the air war between Israel and Hamas. Over 500, former Democratic Party staffers signed a letter urging President Biden to hold Israel accountable. Now in what we were just discussing, you know, Republican leaders finally condemning Marjorie Green for her comments about Jews. They also did a little both sides terrorisms, you know. They also in the same Twitter tweets. They in the same breath, practically said, But Democrats are not supporting Israel and they're being anti Semitic. Who is this going to be? Ah, burden for Democrats down the road. Will they be seen as Antipas anti Semitic. Would you advise buying to do on this? The politics around. Those are tough because they are also changing younger that was watching Rahm Emanuel talk about this this weekend. Younger Democrats have only known Netanyahu as the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu has inflamed The partisanship around eyes. Real policy. You know, Truth is most of my career..

We were in the bowels of the Super Bowl for in New Orleans for Rams Patriot Tom Brady's first And I, we ran up. That was right after 9 11. You too was playing and that was emotional. It was unbelievable. That's a good one. For every you're there, right. Every person that passed away 9 11 was on there. They were scrolling it on the screen, right? Yeah, it was then. Come I was in. I was sitting three on that line three seats away from Ice Cube and the Houston Super Bowl when the Patriots beat the Panthers Panthers 75 to 1 to win the Super Bowl four. That's how quick it was a great game and we were down in the bowels afterwards doing doing the post game, you know, getting all the people and All of a sudden, the NFL PR person comes by and gives us a press release about the Janet Jackson. Justin Timberlake. I'm like, Why do I care about the Super Bowl halftime? We do not. We know you guys have no idea. No idea. Then all of a sudden it became the biggest story than bigger than the game afterwards. So those were the two that that resonate with me. Very good. Miller. I enjoyed last year's J. Lo and secure a loan, Remember? I mean, I remember waddled trains fixed by the job for the entire house. When show here It starts getting that belly going on. It's like, come on. That was some visual entertainment that that one could have been renamed Full Moon Rising Well, for James, when no get There's money makers moving. Hello. I also enjoyed Katy Perry's left shark. The left shark became remember that he was you didn't care for you're right. She would seem right shark steam right shark. On then Lady Gaga made a hell of an entrance the other year. Yeah, right. Yes. Yeah, jumped and then came down from like the roof and, uh, she's gonna record. Yeah. Madonna's was just okay. We were at the Super Bowl. We were covering it that week and I want to say was maybe the Dallas Super Bowl. Maybe Andy That Madonna had done and I realize Indianapolis it Andy. I remember going to her press conference. You want to talk about a wild scene? I mean the world's media assembled to get a glimpse of Madonna walking into a press conference. That was the biggest press conference of the weak guys. I got news for you. I mean, if you're a my right, your government did you come with us? Harry and I and Danny went and to see the the assembled the international media. Yes, to get a piece of Madonna. I mean, it was unbelievable. I don't think the performance of all the great although I do like Madonna a lot. All right, we'll see you tomorrow. "Let's start with your partner, the man to the left of you. Jonathan Hood. Who does he have any siblings? If so, brothers or sisters? He does not. Except for my sister Aisha, which is mentioned on the show. Yes. Sorry, my sister. I have a sister 11 sibling. She was a champion. Figure skater. What is her name? Now? You should know this because your wife was looking to buy a call. She actually drove by with the car. Don't be texting people. Don't be looking like you're looking through your phone. All right. Got it wrong. He got this one wrong. My sister's name. Is that right? Yeah. Yes, buddy. Thank you very much, knowing even though she didn't help your wife by a card, our guy Jr Strauss, our main man. He's got Children. I have no idea. The name this kids and I've never known them. No, I'm not even going to go down that road. How many does he have? I know he's got a son who is a big time gamer. Right? Remember that. I believe the holidays. I believe that's his on Lee child. Lastly, Jeff Miller, the man standing across from you. What are the names of his kids? No, I He talks about them every day in the meeting, E. No. He's got a 10 year old son wins, right? He does not have mellowed, does not. I don't believe he has twins. I know Danny has twins. I do not remember the name of this. I do indeed have twins. Alex and paper. I knew it was a new Alex. I can't remember Page design and Alex well, but I did not know paper. I've got capital for four. There is now. Yeah, yeah. I really like the snowman that your kids made. Jeff thought that was a very cute picture that thank you. Cap. That was my daughter's work, Peyton. "The break? You bet. Louise sanitary place everywhere. Yeah, Whatever you do, don't treat. Don't drink it. Just throw it everywhere else. Yeah. So, Connor, Welcome aboard, man. I mean, the newest addition. We've been sitting on this all week. I don't think this one leaked. Believe it or not that we keep this quiet. Quiet as I could get him a shy. Yeah, I felt good, you know, just to hold onto it for a little while, but on the other hand, it's But along pandemic Yeah, for for a lot of people. It's been a long pandemic. I'm one of those folks whose, you know, for whom it's been a little longer than others. Yeah, it's been a long week and I am absolutely thrilled. Like over the moon about the opportunity about this station about the ball club about the broadcast team. I mean, it feels like I'm walking into something that the great thing is. You got a great team. You know, when you've got a niece alone, you got tremendous pain. Now you could sit. You get the paint on the easel and you get to talk about Chicago White Sox. You subject matter's gonna be absolutely fantastic. It almost the show almost doesn't write, which is a great selling point for high, right? I mean, if the show doesn't start, I don't know if that's what you're fine. You don't need it. Anybody turn on them? I just got to be there every once in a while here now. Yeah, absolutely. But of the call the town of sports Crap Right now you have got the elite sacks were kind of like the both. The only team really are. They're the only team heading in the right direction. I love it. I think the Bulls are bottoming out. But the White Sox are the one team that's on the attention. Thank heaven, you know, it's incredible to be, too is just you know, I'm doing a little research for White Sox weekly on Saturday and you're starting Saturday, right? Yeah, I'll do White Sox weekly on Saturday. I'll be I'll be on Monday with Brian handling. So looking forward to that, too. I love Brother Love it. Z could be a good show. It's giving a good show, but I'm just kind of sitting around and like Okay, let's do some divisional matchups right. Like how do you match up against the twins? And how do you measure up against the Indians? Only kind of stuff. I don't think reminding myself that the twins haven't done nor ladder to anybody. And, you know, Cleveland, just Lindores. Our freedom. Francisco Lindores, a rascal like they told you they would three years ago. Which is amazing, So don't get surprised about that. And you're This isn't a team that is necessarily won the off season yet because there are so many free agents that are out there for a whole host of reasons, But you signed the best reliever in baseball. You sign Lance Lynn. You get I mean, This is a sum must have made a little noise. You know, they won't let them make noise, and that's them. And they could make some more. Yeah. Bring your fella is out there. It's a very good baseball player. There's talk about them going after DJ let make you come to the other side of town. Get to the bank, but he's gonna splash is still good. You're right Expression. Yeah. No, I mean, like is like it's primo right now, Connor. I mean, like to say that about the team that I love. Yeah. We just don't say it often. I think they've got they've got a lot of appeal. They got a lot of star power on DATs. What's exciting, They've got recognizable names again for the first time in a while, like this feels so much different than Most anywhere. I can remember where every once in a while, you know, like they'd hit on some free agents and some older guys in the other have, like a halfway decent season, but they never put two together. Things like, read something like this. Where you know we're sorta gonna watch a team come from the minors and grew up together and hopefully be really, really good for like the next five. Multiple swings. Yeah, I mean, you get yourself multiple looks at postseason success, and that's what's key here. I think it's also so fun about this club. You mentioned it like You have guys that could be the brightest spots in the league. You know whether it's whether you're talking about Tim Anderson or Robert and center or a lawyer and laughed like there are guys that are some of the brightest at their positions. And from a from a fan standpoint. You always think about this last night when we were kids. You didn't really pick your fandom. I mean, some kids did some, like little six year old. Grew up an iconoclast was like my dad's a Dodgers fan. So I'm gonna be a Giants fan because you know the old man, whatever we all kind of grew up where we grew up in your fans of where we're fans. You have a chance now in this day and age Major league baseball Too, You know, through Twitter through instagram through player access like you get to pick your team. Yes. Why wouldn't you go pick the lights? I know if you're young kids somewhere else, and I can get excited about him. You know why? Why wouldn't you go take a look at one of the most exciting ball clubs in baseball? That's actually doing something this offseason. I mean, you mentioned the Mets, and they're adding a whole bunch. Great, awesome. It'll be a Mets fan, I guess because that track record is one But Come on, man. I mean, this is excessive excited. They didn't. They didn't add Adami know that it Adam Eaton? Yeah, and you mentioned the long pandemic and it was pretty wild and now it's like Hey, I mean, you're here. You're on your on the good side. Now you're on this side of time. It feels good. It was good ground. We've been in before crazy here. There's a good side of town where the truth matters. That's right. Yeah. Welcome, but it's what I like. So starting saying, you got White Sox week we're up and running right up for us. Light up White Sox weekend Saturday gonna meet with boys and we're gonna put on air, but it's gonna be a lot of white sides talking. I'm looking for Conner. McKnight. Everybody. He's gonna be doing pre post a bunch of games in the play by play Booth. White Sox weekly filling in Welcome aboard. Thank you for listening, calling a participating today. "Or was that just a dominant defensive performance for New Orleans? They had a kind of opportunities. Leslie basic drops. Potential interceptions in that game, too. So on down a lot of game late in the game really was out of hand. But, um, you know, it isn't the chains have done a really good job all year of getting pressure. Was their defensive line and given opportunities for that secondary, and now they're going to be as healthy and deep in the second areas have been all year, so that is something they can absolutely do. Mike. We appreciate it jumping on for a few minutes. I know that the maybe there are some fans around the NFL and I know that in New Orleans, definitely that feel the sage have gotten the raw end of the deal. The last several years, you know, the miracle of Minnesota and every other non call against the Rams and things like that. Nobody in Chicago's pulling for the Saints. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that does that. Come up as you approach this playoff series now. Well, I would say this. I mean the things they're sort of the poster team for how hard it is. Get to a Super Bowl. Um, as you mentioned, they've had so many minutes spent. This is their seventh trip. To the playoffs since they went to the super and they've fallen short of getting back there with with all those things. Another funny wrinkle. The only three teams in NFL history have ever gone 13 and three and knocked out in the first round by it happened twice and now they're a two seed. That isn't getting a first round. Bye because they extended. It seems that they used up all their Carmen 2009. Let's see if they can finally break through it. That's amazing, Mike. We appreciate it jumping out for a few minutes. We'll talk to you soon. All right. Thank you. Thanks, Mike. Mike triplet from ESPN NFL Nation. I can't feel bad about it. I mean, you know, I know, I know. But if you had known if you had no dog in the fight Mean everything He just said. I mean, you know, the Minnesota miracle why they got doesn't tackle digs at that point, And then you know the non call against the Rams, where they've actually changed rules because of it. And, uh, is remarkable. I mean, I would like to be a fan of a team that you know, has a seven trips and goes every right as an opportunity. And actually looks like the real deal until they don't go to the Super Bowl. That would be nice. Uh, Mitch, Mr Risky getting ready to go up against the saints. He wasn't the quarterback when they met before and Mitch talked about going up against New Orleans. They play tough. They play tough and they play hard nosed football and they're gonna be in your face and they're gonna try to change it up with a bunch of defeat. Voices and try to confuse you with different looks and, um e think. When you go against a team that gives you different looks and tries to confuse the quarterback. You just gotta be on point with what you what plays you have in your game plan and where you need to go with the football verse. Whatever. Look, they're showing. So for me. It's just gonna be a big study week on our game for him and film study and just making sure that I'm on the same page with my guys and whatever. Look, we get that Um, we're in the right play, and and we can have a successful play out of whatever they try to bring out us. Uh, again, It's gonna be efficiency on 1st and 2nd down, staying out of Third lungs and being in those third man, Jules that we've been better at these last few weeks and staying on the field. So once we get down in the red zone is gonna be huge to come away with points. But we've got a lot of respect for this defense, and we know it's gonna be a good challenge this weekend. Yeah, He sounds like he's ready, He says he's prepared will see. You know if that matters at all. When the Bears and saints take the field a little less than an hour from now we come back. We'll see how our polls are doing. On the Bears will also give you some of our bold predictions. We've got Jeff Dickerson joining us at three o'clock and don't forget before we're out of here will play our bears 2020 season in review, And, as you said earlier, it's been up and down throughout the entire course of the year, one of the stranger years you'll ever hear and you get a chance to hear all the highlights a little bit later on here when the game's over, Don't forget. I know we have Notre Dame basketball but assumes Notre Dame basketball's over. Hopefully, it's His bears game goes a little bit long yesterday. The second game of the day went toe like 7 20. So there's a good chance that you know one Notre Dame will be over and hopefully their post cable show will be near over. And then it will have Jeff Miller and also Howard Griff is with the postgame show for two hours, taking your calls and talking about the Bears and hopefully surprising everybody and knocking off the New Orleans Saints. Brian Haley, Fred human or we come back in just a moment after this on ESPN 1000 Chicago's home for Sports Talking bears football back with more bears in sight After a time out, ESPN 1000 Tomorrow night tomorrow night.

"Do we have to score? And I mean, we cause it's our team One city one team in that the slogan Miller one City one team. Yes, with honey, I'm cap Danny Jr. Jeff Miller. We're here every morning at 7 A.m.. So how many points The Bears have toe conjure up buddy toe find a way to shock the world. 24 24 take that. Well, that would have won the match up this regular season because I think it was 23 20 final wasn't 23 20 so 24. How about that for a number? Bill Cartwright number 24 can they get to 24? Yeah, they can get to 24. I think so. Because I think that in this situation, I think that Robinson will be able to have more than five targets. Okay? And I believe that more than 37 yards and a couple of receptions as he had against the Packers. Okay, the defense for the Packers better than the Saints. Even those saints was top 10 in a number of categories. So I think 24 is doable. See, That's not my concern. My concern is the other side of the field. You mean where are vastly overrated defense is just allowing teams to move up and down the field unencumbered. Well, you know, at this point time, if you will are a someone that watches the bears and things You know, the Bears are good defensively, then you're just the numb nuts. Yeah, but you can't You can't overrate or even write. The Bears is being good defensively because we're not used to that, as bears fans were not used to seeing a defense. It looks like this so Now, you know, maybe last year, we could say for sure that bears team is overrated defensively because you start to see the holes. Now you see it all over the field, and I understand a lot of it is an aptitude and injury. And so a couple of guys missing, but that's my biggest concern. So 24 is the number but not for giving up 36. In the other end, Correct Now we're not facing Aaron Rodgers. We're facing a shadow of what Drew Brees used to be still a really good player. But he's not what he wants. But smart, though he's smart. He'll look at that Packers tape and say, Oh, wow, if they don't have real quant Smith in the mix, and we'll see how they all materializes. All right, if you don't have real Kwan Smith and you've got Josh Woods back there, or you've got Um, you've got a survey to one, a one against the wide receiver where we can exploit that match up. Exploit that no question. And then you're not having great safety help over the top and Duke Shelly or Kendall Ville door. If that's really his name, those guys just trying to figure out who they mean. I mean, that's just madness. Defensively. I'm not used to seeing that thing. I'm even though we've seen this all year. I'm still a bit off kilter. Watch the defense give up so many big plays so Danny called US blank holes yesterday in the meeting if we weren't excited for the playoff game And I was talking to my wife about this and she said Your favorite team is the Bears. You are a die hard. And they're playing in the playoffs. Enjoy it. Enjoy it. I don't care how they got in. Enjoy it. Sure. So I'm not a black hole, Danny. Isn't that exactly what I said? You guys money? Well, why it had to come out of your wife's mouth for you to think it was a legitimate point. She does it with class. And with some tact close just called me a blink. She did it. She topless probably. And that's why you listen, I'll take my shirt off right now. Captain, if that'll get you to listen to me and my pants, she looks way better than you naked. Sorry. Um, it didn't. I haven't seen you naked. Yeah. Anyway, David, It's your favorite team. Okay. Two favorite team, So don't worry about it. Everything's gonna be fine. You're right and take the ass, right? And I said to her, we're gonna get our ass kicked. She's like so You're going to actually watch your team in the playoffs on Sunday. There's cool. There's value of getting into the postseason. How many times have I said that one or two more than a couple of times? There's value of getting to the playoffs. You just don't want to see the bears get embarrassed on there. That kind of platform right on that kind of stage, right? The other side of it for me is is that I don't get to change that I want because the Bears are in the postseason. I'm telling you, George McCaskey looks at this unless it's a different George. George McCaskey will look at that and say where the postseason give this old group another chance. Well, if he's unless he's already got a deal done with somebody wink wink as soon as we're eliminated, I'm bringing you in as the new GM. We already known that's coming back. Know Sylvia's gonna have a nervous breakdown because they're going to allow Ryan to pick another quarterback. But unless he's got a deal already done, there's like seven GM jobs out there. I mean, yeah. So It's funny that we didn't name If the Bears GM job was open. We didn't put the bears that conversation. Like amongst the best jobs available eyes you said Jacksonville. I said Houston. Where were the Bears being that when you have an aging defense, you don't have your quarterback in place. Montgomery's becomes something I would say the money's become something. We don't know what Robinson is gonna be here next year or not. This is kind of the middle of road job now. Okay, so it really is. Okay. So you've got Detroit. Houston just hired there. So that's gone off the ones left. Jacksonville Atlanta, Detroit Who else is looking for a GM? See, See the Carolina Carolina Carolina Washington. Yeah, but those Denver right, but Washington Ron Revere is going to be completely in charge of everything, and he's going to hand pick who he wants to work for him. That's a different situation than coming in and trying to remake and hire coaches and all of that. That's a dangerous game, by the way, and it's same deal with Matt rule he's gonna have he's gonna get his guy, whoever he wants to work. They're paying him $60 million. He's not going anywhere, but just side. No, that's a dangerous game. That She goes playing there. Get yourself a GM in that spot. You can't go to every college game to scout your tour in the draft. Correct. We don't do it all yourself. But the GM isn't coming in with total authority over the 53. That's Chico's. It's a difference of 20 fair, but Detroit got to be remade. Jacksonville got to be remade. Houston's filled Atlanta got to be remade. So there's Other jobs out there. Denver and Denver, although John Elway's gonna have ultimate final stamp of approval So where does the bear job break like? If I said to you, Jonathan, you can have any of them. That's in the middle, because I don't know what I gotta find my quarterback. And so whoever my quarterback is that's a free agent. Pick up for a year or two. Maybe And so I don't know if I'm solidified by myself with a quarterback and my defense is older. That's a tough one. Overhaul a lot of those guys. The next 3 to 5 years NFL network was saying yesterday, Dak Prescott still believes that he's going to get $40 million a year. Coming off that really serious injury. 40 million. Well, even if he hits free agency, we there's no chance that bears have that kind of space. Know what the point is like. He may get that money..

"What's going on, My man. How you doing? Yes. Happy New year to both of you guys. Thank you. Well, I mean, if there's people out there who want to celebrate this victory? I'm sorry. Celebrate making a playoff. I mean the couple zone, but I'm not one of those people. Will celebrate because there's really nothing to celebrate about this team making a firehouse and today's game really proved that, you know, everybody who is all tied together are woefully insufficient and their own jobs. You know Maggie's one in five against the Packers on four against Matt before Next week. He's going to go up against shopping was always too, you know, both the superior officer and one that coaches You know, and today's game really, really look like, you know, nag. Your fingerprint was all over because I know he and rapid port said he's impacted by calling and it's just really, really Yeah. Discouraging just to see what we saw today and after after you know what happens with the Saints, we can all agree that the long term success for this franchise It's just not set up properly, and I was certainly not let lion pace Make another choice with the you know another quarterback no matter who he decides to sign or draft because the Bears air drafting far below to get Lawrence Fields and Wilson at this point Sure. You know what I don't know. Probably can't fill ups needs to be out of this decision making going forward, and we definitely need to have a real team. Football operation President who handles the football side to objectively decide the future of Maggie and I see that. Yeah, I hear what you're saying. Stephen, we are We're up against here. So I'm gonna let you go with that. But Um, you know, Look, I kind of agree with Steven Howard. I hope that Ryan pace Actually, I hope he's not given the the be leverage to go ahead and make another selection with the quarterback process. Because that itself as we've seen if you get it wrong, you set the franchise back a good four or five years. It's hard to dig yourself out of it. So I'm what Stephen in that respect, but You know, That's something that we're gonna have lots of talks about throughout the offseason. Right now. We're kind of you know, in this weird holding pattern where we've got to keep our eyes focused on The playoff game next week before we can move, move move along to those big macro, you know questions? Yeah, and that's what we are. And really the reality is this team and the fans should focus on this game, and I know that it's frustrating because a lot of fans believe it's just gonna be a one and done situation. The debate is having opportunity. At least they have a chance to play the game and they're going to give him the opportunity to go out and hopefully prove the fans wrong and all through their Doubters wrong as well. Those that are questioning them. They're gonna have their say it's enough time to decide. What should happen with Maggie paste and everyone else and the configuration of this team, But let's try to focus on the opportunity they have ahead of them. And let's see what the chips fall next week this time. Well, said he is two time Super Bowl champion Howard Griffith. I am Jeff Miller. You've been hit us up on Twitter. He's at Howard Griffith. "You found Island Robinson a lot more. What looks to the Packers give you that made it more difficult for you to find out. Um, I think you're just the match ups and what we had in the plan for money to get the ball. I think early on. They were just giving us looks that We're Morrell vant a just to go to money than today, Rob, But I think our offense is at our best and when we're really doing well and in a rhythm and definitely when we're finishing down the red zone, it's 1. 12 is getting his hands on the ball. So we're gonna have to look at that, Um I wasn't aware of it early on that he wasn't touching the football, so you gotta have your best receiver definitely involved early, so that's something we could look at something we can improve that. But Mooney took advantage of his opportunities and made some big plays for us. But Way want 12 touching the bond. We know when everyone is touching the ball and offensive again to our playmakers. That's when we could be efficient and then be more deadly. But it's gonna be about Red's on such things going on. That was Mr Miss Too risky. Not too long ago meeting the media after the Bears lost to the Packers today, 35 16, but they find themselves what they play up birth, courtesy of the Los Angeles Rams win over the Cardinals and We did get word before we wrap things up today. We didn't get word Howard. The Bears are going to be playing next Sunday. At 3 40 on CBS and not just CBS, but they're also going to be the special kids broadcast on Nickelodeon. That's what we have. We have two bears broadcast to monitor next weekend as Nickelodeon is doing a kid's broadcast kids think broadcast to try and make the NFL little more kid friendly. So that will be interesting because the Bears are part of it again next Sunday at 3 40. The birds will be taking out New Orleans Saints. Andre, CBS and Nickelodeon. So we will have another Sunday affair to break down after the Paris since game, which is a good thing you know, they get that extra day arrest as well. So it becomes a regular work week form and Hopefully they can die Aly in and be able to figure out exactly what game plan needs to be to go against the Saints because they're gonna have their hands full. And the one downside for the Bears. My start in rap report mentioned that this does give Alvin Kamara a chance to play if he's cleared off of the cove in 19 reserve list. So this course saints, the state will be a much tougher opponent. If tomorrow is out there, all right. We got one more second to go. We have to give you our close call of the game when we return and a couple more phone calls to wrap it up. He's Howard Griffith. I'm Jeff Miller. "Bound. It's not the way they probably would have drawn it up with a 35 to 16 2 ft. At home against the arrival. The Packers, But today's M V P is no doubt John Woolford of the Los Angeles Rams and the Rams defense. We're able to help the bears out with a with an 18 to 7 victory over the Cardinals today, which secures the Bears birth in the playoffs at eight. Nate Which also gets them a dates in New Orleans next week against the Saints. Good evening. I'm Jeff Miller, along with Howard Griffith. We're taking your calls on the Miller Lite Bears postgame show today 3123323776 and get in early because we've got a lot to do as the show progresses. So if you'd like to be heard, please Give us a call early so we can get to your call Howard. What were your thoughts about today and the fact that the Bears are playoff bounds? Well, it is great that they're able to tow have an opportunity at the play offs. They've been able to do that, although it wasn't because of their own efforts. I thought that the Bears played really well early in this game, you know, things started to wane toward the end. But you know this isn't a bad team, but when they play against quality opponents, this is what we're going to see. This is what you're gonna get there, Not at that playoff level to me as far as the way they play the game. No, That's a great point. Because they did. They did come out early. Now we will. We will hit on a lot of different things throughout the show. But that first drive which could have could have actually Resulted in a in an oddity the way Cordell Patterson began the game, but fortunately it plays out well, they go go down, score early and do exactly what you need to do against Aaron Rodgers in most cases and taken early lead. And still Aaron Rodgers. Look, he's he's going to win the N v P this season, he had four touchdown passes. Today, He only had five incompletions. And if Marquez Bell that's canceling, actually hangs on to that That that long probably would have been touched down. At the beginning of the second half, it would been flipped. You would had five touchdowns, four incompletions. Nevertheless, Aaron Rodgers is playing brilliantly. It's disappointing for various fans for it to play out this way at the you know. The defeat at the hands of the Packers, but again their playoff bound, so that's good of optimism. We could take away you said at the Howard. They started out really well. So like it's tough to envision this team as a seven seed, making a deep run in the playoffs when you have What we saw unfold today before our very eyes you're going to be playing. Ah lot more opponents like the Packers in the playoffs than that. Yeah, You're absolutely right. But the fact is You know they've got that opportunity, right? So that's the one thing and quite frankly. If I'm the coaching staff, I really don't care about this game. I'm moving forward. I don't know. I don't need to watch the film. Don't need to do anything of that. You just need to look forward because the new season will be started for You know, that's a good point is, if you're just kind of all right, you played it was decent now. The question for me, you know, obviously is going to be What's going on with real quiet Smith because he left the game with an injury clearly will listen to what men that he has to stay in the postgame, But he did not return. And that obviously was critical to really You know they were going to have a difficult time. No matter what happened, But when you take real quiet, Smith, who for my money has been their best player and defense all season, when you were rescued him from the defense. It really It really put them in a position where I just I don't know if they were ever gonna have the horses to beat the Packers today. Yeah, it does. Because he's so instinctive. Now, sometimes you'll get himself into trouble. But he's so fast and so instinctive with the game that you can live with some of the mistakes and some of the missteps he may take, because he's going to come up with big plays, And for the most part, he's gonna be exactly where he needs to be aspires. The defense is concerned and being able to make those plays. They're going to be critical for this team to move forward. He's Howard Griffith. Two time Super Bowl champ. I'm Jeff Miller. Here on ESPN 1000 again. 3123323776 taking all your calls on the middle light bears postgame show here on ESPN 1000 for the next two hours to make sure you give us a call. We'll get to you as soon as we can. Here, um Anything else that stood out to you? I mean, Aaron Rodgers. I don't know what more to say. Like Was texting with some folks from the station Howard Waddle, Carmen Sylvie and during the game and look, there may have been guys there may be guys who are playing who have Played at the same level that Aaron Rodgers currently had. I don't know if anybody has ever played at a better level than what he is doing right now, at the NFL level, it really is, and for the length of time he's been doing it. With In some cases, people may think we're okay doesn't have a strong running game sometimes, but I'm not talking specifically about this year, but I'm talking about throughout his career. He finds ways to make plays and just his His ability in the pocket to stay there and move around a little bit. To make plays to extend plays to take chances on some of his players. Making coming up with some big place for me is really phenomenal. I think that's why ultimately he's gonna go down is obviously one of the greats. He's a Hall of Fame, a first ballot Hall of Famer, but I think he's in that conversation. And just how great is it? You know his performance and the things he's been able to do is been really phenomenal throughout his career. No, I completely agree with you. Really? The only thing I think that is holding him back from really sneaky into the conversation. As you know, Potentially the greatest of all time is the fact that you know it's hard to get past the fact that he's only got one suit one Super Bowl right now. And then Tom Brady's got six. So like, you know, I know it's not a simple is it's not simple arithmetic where you just say You know, 66 is better than one. We all understand that. But the reality is, you know for bears fans having to go up against, you know, 15 plus years of Brett Farve, And now you know, we're on. You know your whatever it is for Air Rogers. It's been almost 30 years now where you know, the Packers have been able to torment the Bears and Unfortunately for bears fans, you know, I just I said it a few times. On the station this week, Howard Honestly believed it was more likely that Aaron Rodgers would end up throwing 50 touchdown passes on the season in this game than it was the Bears coming out and winning it And look, I mean, that may sound outlandish, but like he truly was this close to doing if he finishes with 48 on the year and had again MBS hold on to that one earlier in the game. I think there's a chance they would have gone to try and pile it on because At that point, the game would have been completely different. It's just it's maddening as a bears fan, and I haven't we haven't really been talked about Mitch is played today much that's the other point of this is they finally face You know, some stiff competition after a lot was made of the good four game stretch that he was on and you know, we finally get to the point Now where? You know, you see what he does, And there were plenty of place today. Now. Maybe he only throws one interception. But there was certainly you know, three or four that could have been picked off. If the Packers were in the right head space. It seems like Yeah, Absolutely. I think you're right there. We'll talk about that. I think the other thing before getting on to Mitch is the fact that you know Green Bay came to play. You know, there was so much talk leading up to this game about Well, you know they are They really gonna play everybody shit. They play everybody should they just get ready? Uh, for the for the playoffs, But this was a team that came out ready to go. I'm ready to compete..
