And now with the snow and all this stuff that's going on in Texas right now. Um, I guess 2.7 million Texans are without power. Unbelievable because he's these turbines are like frozen silent. Imagine that, huh? They don't know how to handle stuff been down there in a snowstorm before in Dallas. And they don't know what they're doing, Rock Bush. Course. Of course you were. You lived in Tennessee in Nashville and played for the Titans. And I'm sure there were a few snowstorms all you were there, and it was quite comical. I'm sure to watch people scramble. Was my rookie year They had some snow and again the same thing is, it's always like about 5 to 10 degrees warmer. Maybe 5 to 8 degrees warmer there than is here. See, I always thought it was the best weather because you got all four seasons which I love all the seasons. I love fall in love spring, and I guess I hate winter. But so summer's, right, but But you you didn't get the harshness of it all right, especially the cold temperatures, but Down there. It was late in the season, and we got a bad bad snow, and I think they actually Jeff Fischer even let us out of practice. Ah, little bit early, and I remember driving home and there was I could. Need the only way we're gonna pass. This is to listen to these. People informed some sort of shift people. You will never be able to deal with because they're insane but within all of those people there are a number of those people in are completely insane and that will respond to communication that will respond to being treated like a human being while said they thank or we can just go back four years from now and fucking elect hillary clinton own my own. I want to throw this in there. Because it's a it's kind of a downer prediction for the future but it just needs to be said and it's not it's not actual. We know this is going to happen. "Politicking against people that think he's not paying attention, so he is angling for that job. Yeah, I guess he is. I don't know why I would try to catch Fisher. It's just a disaster. And when I went to make sound, you're gonna look at the cuts. I had to squint a little bit. Jeff Fisher. What is this? The same Jeff Fisher until I played the cut. Who in their right mind would even hired Jeff Fisher. What have you been playing attention, like like like that's the That's the leaf. I don't even think Vandy should touch. Jeff Fisher. Why would you hire mature in the SEC? That's sad. That is really sad. Jeff Fisher, angling for a guy's job that has been fired it that it's sad. That is pathetic. Oh, boy, that is your sound love to see saving our Mullen coach and Russell, chef pitcher Kirby Smart coaching gets Jeff Fisher, be circles ran on. I'd like to see Lex Lumpkin do a sideline hit with Jeff Fisher. After a Nickelodeon You could do it that Denzel Washington impersonation. See you like that. Kind, sir. Resident kind, Sir. Andrew Bogus has our headlines this morning. Mr Pokes. How sad is that that Fisher is fishing for somebody's job will has been fired yet. You know you want him to get on a bigger outlet. But maybe he had to do it on the George platter Podcast because no one else wanted to talk to him about his future endeavors. How bad is that? I mean, so he's trying to angle all the years with the Tennessee Titans into Now it could be the falls head coach. I mean, come on. I used to live in the state. Yeah. What a joke. I've been watching a lot of college football. I know naysayers will say this. I mean, he's already defending himself against people that say he can't do it. That's it. That's a bad look. That's a really bad luck. It sounds polished like he's been pitching it to people and no one would listen. So now on there's 11 try somebody gave me enough of the window to talk about it Pathetic. Pathetic, terrible, you know, And we say that Kirk cousins sounds like Ned Flanders, But Jeff Fischer looks like Ned Flanders push broom mustache and the hair that goes back. All right. Where do we begin with the headlines? Well, I got to say just quickly for the record here, going back to Marshawn Lynch and chicken having a weird deja vu that we've done this already based on somebody else, saying that and I think Sean is right. I think it does come from chicken scratch. So I think we've done this before and be Shawn. Think has stumbled across upon some correct information here by okay. All right, well, once again, the tweets are open. Twitter is open for you guys to explain to me what? Get your chicken right means, but I will also certain German dictionary. Or something online. Maybe I could figure this out and bogus. Leaning on festivals where he said he should defend me. Maura's really stepping up here to say that I've figured out slang, so I appreciate that. Yeah, but we're all just guessing here. We're up to these air. Just total is you have a windy A. Can I just get a win? Well, when you're right, Yeah. If you're validated, Yes. All right. Thank you. Yeah. Take care of your chicken. Okay. Angelo Tweets Googled it. Chicken is a slang term for money and taking care of your money was a key part of Lynch's message to teammates as well as players around the league. Good job, Sean. Great E g Tweet. Chicken equals investments money that makes money. Okay? All right. That's interesting. Bob in Houston says I think chicken is also like the cliche. Don't count your chickens before they hatch. Right. So if it sounds like more as his intuition was right that it had to do about about money, so Very good. All right. In a week, I choked on chicken. I end up figure out what chickens through secret. Maybe that's human. Be careful eating it to swallow the bone. All right. So maybe last night was the night for James Harden to unload because the Rockets were taking their second beating and three nights from the Lakers. LeBron might have been having too much fun last night. LeBron fakes turns gets it to Mark Keith Morris back to LeBron for an open three in the corner. Three pointer by LeBron is perfect. See what he did. He shot the ball and the ball is halfway there. He turned around and looked at the bench didn't even see it go through the hoop and the benches dancing. That's how it sounded on Lakers radio. Here's LeBron's postgame explanation. My teammate hit me with a bet on the sideline and I was I took the bet while they're still shooting the ball so You know, a bed is inefficient looking man and I so I had to look. It meant that I and E was apparently as he's lifting for the jump shot. Dennis Schroder from the bench goes, bet it like it's going to go in and LeBron releases likes, it. Turns accepts the bet and really happens in the video does not know the ball goes in. I mean, he's trusting it's going in, but his back is to the rim. As the ball goes to do nothing but net. Yeah. Tell me again about how this is not one of the greatest athletes ever to live here. People wanna wanna tear down LeBron. Okay? The guy just took a bet. Mid air hit a three pointer in NBA game didn't see it Go and turned around and said, Give me my money. In the middle of an NBA game. Okay, not one of the greatest athletes ever. "To the Dairy in America Show the United States champion of Justice fixing America's issues, one state at a time. Has daddy stags and baby and sold your slim thing Follow fade, Man, baby, a soul dot com. I'm sure whatever name you Stella. Have you spell it, You put it in. It will pop up and he's on YouTube too. And I love that baby and souls doing his thing with Daddy Stags. Yes. So We would talk about the Bears, and I left off a little bit about the Bears, and I wanted to come back to him. We stay five on one. So number one celebrate that we should be celebrating our bears, and I want to talk about some of the players. Man folds. Get it together. Is he a leg? Nick? We all kind of like Nick because Nick knows that he and got together. Nick knows that he still struggling. Nick knows that I'm not playing good, but Think about it, man. How many of you all have actually played an organized sport or whatever it is. You go from one to the next. You've got to get up to speed. I don't I don't care about Creasing. All preseason or camp is hard. And then Nick was the second string quarterback. They were giving it to Mr Trump Whiskey, and Mitch was doing terribly. I'm so glad they got rid mitts mad but didn't get rid of images put him where he belongs. Mid should have been behind equality. Back up. And then I heard a couple of the guys talking, You know, talking heads. They all got something to say. But how do you feel about the fact that The Bears didn't really develop Mr Biscuit. Is it their fault that he's so bad? You may call it 8777 11 56 11 If you feel like the Bears did not develop Mitch Good question. You know, I've played the sport of football, but I was a cornerback. And I remember the day my career was ended. So I won't talk about about that another time. But you know, I was a baseball player. Could I go out and coaching baseball team right now? Probably could. I think I could. Would I want to, though? Baseball is hard to watch Man sold trying to be in the dugout versus wife on TV versus being in the audience. Oy ve Baseball is hard to watch, but I think I could coach it if I chose to. But I asked a question Did the bears from football on Mr Boesky? So let's look at their place. L. A Rams pentagrams in Los Angeles. Now the Rams Rams been everywhere, but I think they are back in Los Angeles, and they have Jared Golf. Everybody's been kind of up and down. You know, the first coach Ex Chicago bear Jeff Fischer. I didn't even know he was with the Bears man. Jeff Fisher. He never seen no take. He was the only Bears and 85. Um He He was their coach for a while, and they didn't fire Jeff for many, many years. I got a feeling about that. But I do want to try to stay sports related. Jer golf. Isn't that I'm not scared of him, You know, and they let their both spears from person to me. Todd Gurley. He's gone. He's with things with the Falcons. Now thousands of Saints one too. But I'm not scared of the Rams now, and I'm not scared of coach on what he's scared of. Coach. Why does the coach matter? I never was one who was afraid? Well, I take that back. Because we have some Southside Little League coaches were back in the day when I played man and I was scared of him. But they were grown man. That was a little kid. I mean, As an older man, You know, I respected them was definitely respected what they did, but I don't care about the coach. The coach don't matter to me. He's the one that draws of the plays. And they're saying that the coach in New York with the Jets right now, Adam Gaze. My beer coach. He is warning Sam Donald Well. I could believe that he's not putting him in the best position to win. So New York is a mess. Both New York teams are mess. Oh, I don't feel it's bad, because Yeah, Chicago may had a lot of quarterbacks, but we're not as messy as New York. New York is terrible, absolutely awful. But I started talking about shaman very because we got some coaches out there, man that I want to see coach some players there would be enemy. It was an okay one in baggy play for San Diego, and I thought he was OK. But you know that Danny and Tomlinson was the man, but I'm glad to be enemy is still trying to coach him in Byron Leftwich their office of coordinators, and I think they should get a shot. If you think there'd be enemy and Byron left, we should get a shot. Call me 8777 11 56 11. I know Most of my fans are our ladies and a light Was these people What you saw? You know what I get called to the carpet on that too. When the ladies was like, I know just as much football as a man do so you need to stop saying that. I guess I'll stop saying it then. But I don't want to see her Be enemy and Byron Leftwich in as coaches. So here's a good question. Does Matt Nagy continue to coach the Bears? If they don't do anything this year? What if they just lose every game from this point? Go forward. Do you bring that Maggie back?.

"Every day can you know a little bit of diet and exercise to go a long way? Yeah. You know what else goes a long way? Sit around and joined myself having some chips Ahoy. Go over to the liquor store later on, maybe go stop by McDonald's. That's going to be a good time sitting around a real good time. You know, It's not a good time sweating my ass off and lifting a bunch of weights. I've done it before. It sucks. I don't like doing it. Working out sucks, but can it so much better for you? I know it sucks. That's why I don't want to do it. Striving to win and compete every single year and holding your team to the high standard. It's the same thing. It sucks to have your heart broken in the playoffs. It sucks to go out there and have a quarterback who's actually good, But you're off to Europe to your 50 year struggle because nobody can win every single championship. That's not how it works. It sucks to play at a high level and hold your franchise to a high standard. But the teams that we want to emulate do We bring up New England. That's a blueprint that we want to we want to emulate. We want to build off the New England blue print, even though it's unrealistic. Went on Earth is New England tanked. Went on Earth. It's Philadelphia. Even with Chip Kelly went on Earth of they tanked. When they get Donovan McNabb. They weren't number one overall when they got Donovan McNabb. Kansas City. Kansas City is that times just naturally sucked up the room? They didn't tank Andrew luck. You could make the argument that Indianapolis when pelt when Phil when Peyton Manning was hurt that Indianapolis tanked it out. What championship did they win? With Andrew? Luck? And where is Andrew Luck right now? I tweeted this out earlier this week. I got every single argument for it. Can the Rams Jeff Fischer eight that great? He's not that bad. You think Jeff Fisher ever subscribe to tanking know and they traded up for their guys? They traded up for Sam Bradford. They moved up to get Jared Golf. Can the 40 Niners Trading for Garoppolo is tanking. Half of you folks want him replaced every time we talk about Jimmy Garoppolo. 40 Niners didn't tank Someone actually responded with it responded to me with the 1969 Pittsburgh Steelers, which was Chuck Chuck Noll's first year. Okay, Go right on back. 1968 the year before 2 11 1, 67 49 and 1 66 581 the year before that, 1965, I'll even go. You're further two and 12. You can't take a team That's already terrible folks. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. It just gives you a lousy cheap excuse to be terrible, and I have personal stock in it. If I could take my headset off, I would because I usually like to say headphones off and I'll talk As a fan. I've watched my team, suck up the room and struggle and have drama and strife throughout basically my entire life. I want this to work for them. I want to see playoff football. I don't know if it will. Because if you tank Remember, you have to get everything perfect. The Houston Texans. We're not a perfect team when they took the Shawn Watson. They had a really good defensive end that we just talked about in the last statement. Now that dish on Watson's going to take over that leadership role from him. They weren't a perfect team. But you know what they had. They had a good support system that a defense, decent coaching staff Not the best coaching staff in the world. They had a decent staff that could help him. I had a decent team. They had some talent in certain places. They didn't just throw him in with wolves and let him get killed The same thing with Patrick Mahomes. Patrick Holmes could be the best ever do it By the time it's all said and done. He spent his first season which I believe was a playoff year. He spent his first season on the bench. Learning. With a team that was competitive with a quarterback that was competitive. We don't want to hear that, Dewey, because when you take quarterbacks and you take them number one overall and then a being with the team that sucks. That just has a bunch of draft picks and good ideas. It's all a good idea until the ball gets kicked off, and you actually have to start playing and your quarterback goes out there and gets his head taken off and freaks out. And doesn't know if he trusts the head coach doesn't know if he trust his wide receivers and that quarterback for me last year was Baker Freaking Mayfield, and now we're going into year three where it's a put up or shut up year. And for all those things that the Shawn Watson now has on his plate, where he looks like he's a leader now because he's taking over a team as the leader. He's already been on that team. But he's on a team that has had no Ta Snow Mini cam really nothing to do at all throughout this entire offseason because of a pandemic, and now next week he's expected to go. There and compete with this brand new contract. That's the same thing Baker Mayfield has. And at the end of this season to Shawn Watson will still be a franchise quarterback and might be an elite quarterback. I can't say the same for Baker Mayfield right off the top of my head. I certainly hope so. I can't say the same thing for Sam Darnold off the top of my head. I certainly hope His team went out there and got some draft picks. Got him for Jamal Adams..

"Could make an argument in the N B. A that it kind of works. Even though cash, I think six years fans would disagree with you. What are we going to get over this thing that this type of thinking is for losers and losers only, and it only gives you a better excuse to be a loser. And that's the meanest thing I'll say about you. If you back up this type of thinking you're a loser. Brian Florida's leading his team B A loser. God, I hope that Doug Marone is gonna let his team B a bunch of losers. I hope I pray for Gardner Menchu this year. He's got no pressure on him. I say, let it ride and try to do everything you possibly can because they're ripping player after player after player after player right away from you. They're all gone. Leonard for net. Yeah, I know that Leonard Fournette wasn't necessarily the model Jaguar out there. They got nothing back. They took him fourth overall. They draft the wrong quarterback that keep the wrong quarterback in the system for a little bit too long and hear the Jaguars Oregon they tank. They got tow NFC Championship game and then it's gone in a flash. At least they got something out of it. They got a playoff pick. The Dolphins. They went to tank there. Coach was too good. They got a 51 season. They might have the future of the franchise to a smart too has got a good arm to his healthy. You got Ryan Fitzpatrick to lead him along. Where on Earth is that tanking? But people keep subscribing to it because you know why it's easier to be a loser because it's the same thing we do in our realize I do the same thing myself. Here? No seen me personally. "That's maybe that's part of it. But the other thing so is you know the one good thing. If the Jets have a badge, yet issue is gaze would be out. I would think gays would be God. So that would that would be the only key Only plus if they had a bad year this year, you know, I mean, Yes. So in your mind, then you almost want six and 10 or why I don't want that. I want to be wrong. I want to win wearing intimate Ross. 52 freaking years. I've been waiting to see Stephen a Super Bowl. No, no, no. I don't care who the coaches that wins. I just don't think this guy's the guy. That's my That's my feeling. I don't want to be more. I know. I agree. I don't even know what you go back and you're like, Wait a minute. What did you do that so great? What is it about him that he could mix Christopher. She sold a bill of goods to Christopher Johnson and any wound up getting the General may not that I loved Macagni in but then he wanted to get the general manager fired after the general manager to free agency and the draft. How is that possible? It's actually amazing because Macagni had just hired Matt Rule on that mat rule. Do what he wanted to do. Macagni would still be the GM. It was like a coup. I mean, here's a guy I was telling you about that. Yeah. If you have an organization that has coos like this. That's not who wins it all. Joe. No. You kidding me with the white know that? Come on. Of course. Roy's talking. We're talking football with him. Why did you get a giant's loo? Coach? I mean, that's gotta, you know, especially now you can You have a whole new regime coming in whole new coaching staff, and you've got the situation we have because of the virus. I mean, that's got to be pretty company giants, right? Yes, so across the board, and I talked about this on my even money betting podcast across the board. You want to bet on teams that have continuity and chemistry across the roster coordinators o line and secondary, especially and head coach. And you want to fade the teams that have a lot of changes or a lot of rookies, new coaches all those things new coordinator. So that's a major issue for the Giants. I kind of like You know what they're building possession on offense with Daniel Jones and Clayton and take wanted Evan Ingram. And they got Andrew Thomas. Like I think they've got some good Case is moving forward, but it's still a lot of moving parts. It's a new coach. We'll see how quickly they're able to figure it out. I mean, these are the teams. I think struggle early in the year with the new head means implementing a whole new system and let me just say There's a lot of guys that you can't implement a new scheme on Zoom right. Like I think, you guys it's not. They got to be on the grass. They gotta walk through it. You know, it's like anything else in life. There are some people that are book learners, visual learners, so people need to actually do it. And ah lot. NFL players have to actually do it, so we'll see how quickly some of these guys pick up the new scheming with the Giants. What is it? Mike McCarthy does in house So I don't think that that's a much of Ah Upgrade, as everybody says it is. Like everybody's like Oh, got rid of Garrett. Now we got my McCarthy Do people remember the last couple years and McCarthy did was something He's losing a lot of weight. Aaron, let me start. Let me stop with stop you first because I wanted my coffee for the jet job. Okay? I was campaigning for that. Well, I know is this the guy won a Super Bowl? The guy developed their own Rogers. The guy won a lot of division titles. And just because at the end, you know, last couple years maybe things got shaky with him in Rogers that those would mean the guy is not a good coach. Well, what I would submit to you is A lot of things have changed dramatically, and it didn't appear is if the last couple years he was able to keep up. He was still doing the same isolation routes and when he had Jordan Nelson, Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb Ah, and you're Michael Finley and Aaron Rodgers thrown on him. He was able to do it. But then those guys get older. They got worse. And you didn't have the horses to just do that. And I would tell you He's the head coach for 10 years with Brett Far and Aaron Rodgers and gets the one Super Bowl. One Super Bowl going years with those guys. It's It's unbelievable. How a guy like this How these guys like, criticize, because the on ly 11 I I just It makes another one. Joe, don't even get to another. I mean, you just people just don't go to Super bowls like they grown on trees. So you know what I mean. I hear you. I'm just saying A combination of only getting the one and then what happened? The last couple years makes me skeptical. I mean, listen the last three years or four years. Jason Garrett, you know with backed us, Scott. You know, went to the playoffs right? Had double digit wins. Three times They went to the divisional round twice. I mean, People act in light because they're 88 last year that Jason Garrett the worst coach of all time. How about when he was 13 and three with rookie Dak Prescott are about the last the year before that, before, you know this past 1 2018 when they got they won the division. They want a home playoff game. People act like Garrett's the worst coach, and it just cracks me up. But if I'm not convinced Makoto is better than Gary, I'm not. By the way, Don Shula one no Super Bowls with Dan Marino and gets no criticism for that whatsoever, A walled the great God, Surely, you know, maybe arrested piece, but I had no great love for the guy because as a jet fan and would be nice of him to put a top on the field in 1982 But I wanna get into that. Okay s so I I have my issues there, but nobody says a word about him. He and I'm not saying it wasn't great Coach, but I went to one Super Bowl didn't win it with Dan Marino arguably could be the greatest pure pass that ever lived and have all the ever say is we have no defense. You don't understand what I'm saying. But I do understand, But Mike because he's like you, he only win one with Aaron Rodgers. You know. Well, but because you already want to before that company to win anything with Maria You want anything when I'm with you, But does anybody criticised jeweler for that? No. Just saying, Russ. I'm just saying, all right, But here's the thing. You were just saying about Joe Judge and the Giants. They got a new coaching staff. But now you're trying to sell me on McCarthy. I'm not trying to sell you. I just I just It makes me crazy because I told you I wanted it for the jet job. It makes me crazy. How disguise Just dismissed like he's some lychees. Jeff Fischer, you know, know, know, know his rights, eh? What the Jets should have fired him, of course, would have been. He would have been better than gaze nor my mom was that you would be better than gays. Correct so they should. They should have hired him. All I'm saying is, I'm not saying McCarty the bad coach. I'm just saying, I don't buy into Jason Garrett, the worst coach ever Might. McCarthy's the best coach ever. They're goingto win three more games or four more games. Now, I think Jason Garrett It is a solid coach, and I think McCarthy is a good coach. I'm not sure there's a huge difference between them. I would've liked to seen what Garrett could have done with Aaron. I mean, Rogers do how many years have been pretty much the best quarterback out there. All right. I understand it. I get it. Russ, This is good discussion we got Toby. I really gotta run. But I think we gotta have you on again because I like this is a spirited discussion. We have you. You know any any time, Joe? The permission granted podcast, which we will tape after the show today. Coming up later on this hour. We've got your best audio of the day in 20 minutes, and in 40 minutes we've got a champ at a chump. Let's start this hour with a list from CBS sports dot com as they rank the top 10 NFL head coaches This was done by the CBS sports dot com team. And here is where they went with the list. Top 10 current NFL head coaches. I think you could guess number one. Number 10 was the Vikings Mike Zimmer, Vikings get into the playoffs last year, winning a playoff game, losing in the divisional round in San Francisco. Number nine. Doug Peterson, Eagles, Superbowl winning head coach. Number eight. Pete Carroll, the Seahawks. I would venture that this is low for Pete Carroll. It number eight to think he's higher than that. Number seven Mike Tomlin. So here you have two guys who have gone to two Super Bowls and 11 at seven and eight. Mike Tomlin at seven. Number six. Sean McVeigh, who last year missed the playoffs all together is over one in Super Bowls. Number five is Kyle Shanahan. Who last year lost his lead in the Super Bowl. Number four Sean Payton with the Saints. Number three the Ravens John Harbaugh. Number two Super Bowl champion Andy Reid and number one, of course, Bill Belichick. Know any of those 10 head coaches. You can't really go wrong with right now. If you were going into this season with any of those 10 head coaches, I think you're relatively confidence. You're relatively confident that your team is going to be well coached and position to make the playoffs and potentially a deep run. None of those coaches, I think right now from those fan bases, air saying, Man, we are overmatched, outwitted on Sundays. All 10 of those guys are solid. But I have to say That Maybe this list is made simply to get people talking, but I find it Relatively silly to play Shawn McVeigh and Kyle Shanahan over Mike Tomlin and Pete Carroll. I really do. And I think that this is a classic case of the hot, sexy new thing is always more interesting than the old thing. Okay. I realize Mike Tomlin has not been to a Super Bowl in 10 years. And I realized that after back to back appearances in that Super Bowl or it a Super Bowl, the Seahawks haven't been back there yet, either under Pete Carroll But one season and I loved with Kyle Shanahan did last season. One year of leading a franchise like the Niners to glory is not enough for me to place him in the top five. The coaches yet So I like his trajectory. Absolutely. Oh, I love what he did with the Falcons as the O. C. They're Super Bowl year. No question about it was shadow hands, use of everything and managing of everything last year. Obviously. A very encouraging sign of years to come for the Niners. No question. But I'm not putting Kyle Shanahan as my fifth best coach in the NFL yet I mean, if this year the nine or suddenly go seven and nine, which is not out of the realm of possibility, are we still putting Kyle Shanahan in number five? That's such a flavor of the week ranking. Number six Sean McVeigh. Look, McVeigh is taking over that roster. That franchise and very obviously put a stamp on it. You Jeff Fischer there for years. 500. Fisher there, seven and nine. There. Eight. Nate. They're just always mediocre or average, and Sean McVeigh takes over and suddenly The thing sings, they go to the playoffs. They went the division the next year, they go to the Super Bowl and Sean McVeigh memorizes all these plays. He's got this MENSA style brain. I mean, look, there's a lot to like about Sean McVeigh. I certainly wouldn't mind having him as my head coach. But Sean McVeigh's been a head coach for three years now and last year with a Super Bowl favorite, missed the playoffs. And no offense to Sean McVeigh. But he's handed one of the most talented teams and football every single year. They spend boo coo bucks on the Rams roster. They re sign and give extensions to everybody, and they're trading for major talent they traded forge a little Ramsey. They've had a keep toe leave and Marcus Peters. They have Aaron Donald and signed him to big money. They gave Jared Goff a ton of cash. They gave Todd Gurley a ton of cash. They keep bringing in wide receivers like Sammy Watkins and Cooper Couple others four targets for Jared Goff. I mean, let's face it. It's not.

"All of your Your quality control guys looking at fifteen plus place right and that's how everybody comes up their ideas anyways they cut up a bunch plays that have gained. X. amount yards there are in a certain formation and you develop things kind of backwards from there and I think that this can only make everything better and so I don't know especially the end of games. Like how cool would it be to have a team like get nailed to of these in a row and come back and win a game like that would be so awesome? It's exactly right. Connor just picturing that drama that can be added to the end of games also pity the offensive coordinator who draws a thirteen yard out route on a fourth fifteen. Because you know what's going to happen I mean we see this time it again. The route that just stops just short of the sticks. Yeah shut out by the way to Stephen Ruiz from USA. Today who had a great joke. Which is who's going to be the first coach to opt for the fourth and fifteen and then and then punt from that formation anyway and I thought that was pretty funny everybody said Jeff Fischer but anyway all right topic number two in a scenario totally unfamiliar to the New York market agents of a high profile member of the jets. Secondary kicked have kicked up. An off season sandstorms. Sowing doubt that said player will not be on the roster for long various reports. Have Jamal Adams relationship with the jets at various stages of breakdown? Is it for real this time? Where have we heard all this before? Great Topic Connor I- inexplicably stumbled over the words secondary Don't really have a good explanation for how that happened. But that was clinically topic though. That was clunky but grey topic. It's interesting Adams. Of course underpaid three point five million salary is low for a player of his caliber but it does not seem like the jets are inclined fix that talks for Patrick Mahomes who drafted the same year. Have just going to get started the summer and seems like a lot of this traces back to last year at the trade deadline when the relationship between atoms. Joe Douglas and Adam gays seemed to be broken a little bit. They apparently tried to patch things up after that. But I think sometimes when there is that kind of break then their future whatever you may call it in the course of doing business. There's always these contract back and forth and then I think it's easy to seize on something like last fall and say well you didn't want anyway. Yeah I wonder if maybe it's just maybe it's just us and you know Jenny. You were a running the beat at the time when the Durrell Rivas contract negotiation happened and I wonder if it's like do team see the jets in particular and maybe their ownership which has been consistent over that time is just somewhat susceptible to this tactic. Is it just US having been in there that we've seen this happen so many times? I remember Hamad Wilkerson. There was that same amount of vitriol and then an insane surprise when a long term deal actually ended up getting done is this unique. Not Unique to the jets but somewhat unique to the jets and. I just feel like for some reason. It's just a place for ages. Feel like they can kind of tee off and set a firestorm to get their agenda. Cross well and I also think because of the history with the team right when there's another contract situation that comes up then. The lines are drawn to things that have happened in the past obviously new regime and Chris Johnson instead of woody but you know obvious parallels can be made and I think it just kind of plays into at least for the fan base. Where you're saying. Oh we saw this with Rivas now. We're seeing this again with Adams here. It is happening again thought. It was a great line by Brian. Castillo of the New York Post though basically ended his call last week with. Maybe they should get to the roscoe diner. Which of course was the infamous sight of negotiations between the jets and Rivas camp during hard knocks between New York and court land So I guess floor in parking Portland anyways. Stop off point. Maybe they should meet their when things are safe to do. So I'm imagining the roscoe diners. Not Open but I don't know maybe it is. Maybe it's an part of Newark where they could open up. Connor hopefully for takeout or something. Like yeah you know could sit. Sit in your car's in shout negotiations seen the car windows. Not really but you know one other interesting thing that I was thinking about. That could come up and a lot of different conversations around the League is we always see teams in owners looking for excuses not to pay players rights and now the uncertainty of the pandemic is a convenient. Excuse so I've already seen a lot of reports. The jets might WanNa wait till they see the situation and yes it's true like a lot of teams will be crunched this year. You know they're figuring out if we don't have fans in stadiums the impact on revenue and certainly there are legitimate concerns but if you're on the Labor side if you're the player then you say hey this is just another excuse to not start getting my deal done you as long as we've covered the jets ben invested in this. I've never looked at the menu for the roscoe diner which is open for takeout by the way it looks delicious. Well like okay like so like when I think of diners. Tell me what you think but I think of like a tuna melt with fries yes like and that's what I was thinking too like..

But I think he's just he said too much of Trump. I think he's drunk without power. By the way, man that twenty one years ago today twenty one years ago today. Join phil. Yes. Twenty one years ago. Well, or me for you for you. It was sixteen so is sixteen with tornadoes came. Okay. And we were right here in this building. You weren't you were good. Where were you, by the way? To be be honest. I was you someone your father my father? But I wanted to work it out where it start on Monday. I just felt weird weird starting. So what are we start Thursday or something? Yeah. You start on Thursday. But then it's so weird. Well, yeah. Well, there's there's a radio reason they do that. I know we can't. I just thought, you know. I'm just starting Monday. Father's coming any wants to some kind of business. Well, I'll do that. And then NATO's it. Yes. Not thought I always make such great decisions. Don't you? Not even thinking of taking off next week. When the NFL draft. Traffic's going to be awful. I think I feel draft. Like that. Can't believe how much this town is bending over for the NFL doing that. I mean. I feel sorry for the hard rock took down all their signs took over their parking lot. But see they get into the good thing is the NFL's renting out their space for the whole week the like two or three days, they're happy by that. Well, I'm hope they. Yeah. They should be NFL throwing money ram in. Oh, yeah. It's a big deal. Just not a big deal, but I'll watch a little bit. I'll watch I'm certainly not gonna watch four five round having. Finally, they have five rounds in the draft that what it is over four days or something. I'm going. I think people now since Tom Brady was like he was the one pick on the last barley almost didn't even get drafted. So I think people are going to they always stick around. Now. I wanna see you the next time Brady as well. You're probably not gonna see that's nominally most of the people in the last day are going to be Tom Brady. I'm just telling you that. But I I will watch a little bit round, you know, the first, but it's just I mean, it's not this nothing against it. It's just it's not like, I don't people are obsessed with it. But it's not like going to a sporting event. I mean, you wait, and you wait, and you wait, and you wait. And then most of these things, you know, pretty much know who they're going to choose the teams get to choose. I get the best players. And so they've pretty much got it mapped out. And then they stand up there. And the only thing that is not even is not even any drama that that the NFL Commissioner's booed. He always does they might hate him. Reason everybody's gonna reasoning Roger Goodell. Oh, sure. So Roger stands up, and doesn't and there's somebody announcing the beginning that he turns it over to somebody else. But as soon as it comes. Woo. And then whoever gets it. You know, they stand up, and there's applause and they act surprised and they have their family members. Then they put on a team hat and they hold a team jersey get a photograph. And then we wait another ten minutes, and I'm going, okay. That's just that's entertaining. You know, it's it's like it's like the Oscars but in slow motion. You know? Yes. Do more to go through. I'm not putting it down. I mean, some people are all into this stuff. Sure. I'm not into the whole drama stuff. This is really that whole drama to it. Usually I've tried to watch it before. And I just I I don't enjoy it quick. I'm looking for some action. Yes. I wanna I wanna see the guys play. Yeah. That's the slowest you'll ever see NFL players. True sitting around way. Oh, I remember what was it two three years ago when Mitch Trubisky got picked by Chicago and all those folks were booing from Chicago. And now, look the guy's a fee numb as a Carolina buoyed, by the way. That's what I remember watching that because I was watching to seek they thought it was gonna go I got to see this and they blue in the dude because again, and now he's now he's a toast of the town in Chicago, change their mind. The. The opposite to you get some of these folks. Oh, you member. All what's his face from Texas, Vince, young remember? Oh, yeah. Oh my gosh. He was a toast of the town was he ever and then he became. He became toast. Exactly. And I wonder what he's doing now. And I'm biggie size. That I think probably comes to mind bless, his heart. Yeah. Here's a guy who got all. I mean, you told me to win straight to his head. I remember there was a problem. He he was late to the plane for one of the flights and Jeff Fischer says started on go screw him. He's gonna have to take commercial flight. And so he did he had to fly commercial to come to the game. He but see the problem was is that oh what's his face? It only the titans, but Adams. He Lovin shown because his Texas, and you know, so he that was sort of never sort of forced down Jeff Fisher's throat and Aisling Jeff Fisher ever really wanted him to be the quarterback. And then you just work with them. Because the owner says he wants almost like the owner put his son in there. You know? Right. And then Vince got the big hand. And then, of course, it all fell apart and bless his heart. I mean, Vince wasn't the sharpest knife into drawer too. So I, you know, I don't know what else he's going to do to make a living. Johnny football each day. Thing. I mean in the firt when he first came on the scene. He was like the all American football. I'm gonna love this guy. Everybody starts doing all this money stuff and all the big hand, and he becomes a an absolute butthole. And then of course, I started pulling against them and karma gets hold of them. And then you know, they this league they started. There was supposed to have a football team in Memphis. And then that thing that whole thing collapsed wasn't XFL or whatever the hell. Yeah. On my fridge. I'm going so, yeah, we really thought that was gonna take off didn't we we've got Johnny football. He couldn't make it in the Canadian Football League. And so we're bringing them to Memphis to play. And then all of a sudden, they say the players came back to their hotel rooms and the league collapsed and all of this stuff is out in the lobby. Oh, yeah. We're they're staying at a hotel. And they said,.

"I I think dome back bay is the hug coach, I guess. Yes. Even even since the regular season ended anybody associated with McVay seems to beginning at coaching jobs of swear affirm ho- McVeigh offi during the year, and you're gonna head coach from where. But yeah know, he's put together arena. Go team. They're kind of been way. Similarly, the pages I was gained enough reliance on any star players, especially offensively like these being relaxed the week on early. Definitely be reliant him is more than CD. I'm listening come from nowhere. He was caught by on Thursday by the raiders. And that was. A derived all of a sudden it's like a great running by all over again similarly, like a wide receiver Cooper Cauca injured throughout the season. But they've been able to like us, dos, rentals and woods and poke tight end ever Digby. So like, but basically you can get these players to articles every out of and for dementia team and make them more. Yeah. They've got that car is it's a different chemistries culture medically though, different. The stall is completely different. How does he got this? Right. So quickly though as a coach. It's just the x factor with McVeigh's, and they must take taken himself in the NFL ready. People were looking for the next show move. The current one is only name one civil is these any thirteen just turned fifty this week building. And you know, but you know, he's your go go what it takes to make people take me to cover the team from Jeff Fischer. Would you know, one of the all the dinosaurs of the game sort of ground them down Jerry gopher this terrible rookie season. It was always a bust. He's never gonna make it and then move as turned him around. He's, you know, Bill team in the allays got clever offensive ideas and got so many weapons that. I think it's gonna make it difficult for the patriots. Because bait politics plan is always to take away what you do best. And it's so, you know, if you've got a really good wide receiver w mope and take make make make the Kobe women's wherever it was just go all the running game. But with the Rams you can't really do that. Because they they can go to the other area we'll ever belly decides to take away they've got other options shoot from the day in. Yeah. For his he's managed to get to now golf because that is men is the he is turned get I still on these he still needs rookie contracts. And that is what is able to them to go out and rather than fuller, the draft motives, the vast majority of teams do and so like Likud in college of talent. And then you're always taking a punt of whether they can be able to make the massive step up and make such a big impression paper able to guess published players admittedly on big money and sue and Marcus Peters of people that particular defensive players, and that they've been able to be able to team up that way. So they have got players who have been there done nine nine. What they can do this one. It's very different. It's a very different dynamic. It was one thing that put me off at the start to say boy, they both of this success both to get to here by narrow window to get it. Right. But yeah, if they don't then comes off his rookie country. I have to pay him like a top level player. But you know, the fact that gophers emerged as allowed them to do this because I've watched that had been going out shopping together Kuban, and they wouldn't have been the same. So. How much credit I is. That's debate. You know, the player himself. You know, you go give him a lot credit. The master plan is words, thus far gentlemen. One more guy actually seal the deal, I suppose the logical thing for us to do is take a short break here, you'll achieve Rossi post NFL pocus when we come back. We'll start crunching numbers. "Patriots of the Rams takes place. Next Sunday at six hundred forty in Atlanta, can't wait for this. And just again, a programming note instead of the rundown going forward next week will be road to the ring will be on Monday through Friday one to four extra hour and then Saturday and Sunday as well one to four so we've got twenty one hours of Super Bowl coverage next week jet. You ready? I am excited about it. I'm happy that we're going to be doing some super size shows supersize shows. Yes, that's how I've been building. It. I like the I mean, it's Super Bowl deserves extra attention. Right. Does even though it's the nighttime in eighteen years. They're going it's like old hat, but you know, what we don't know if this is going to continue. Of course, we said that last year. Okay. This must be the last time Brady and Belle. Check are going to go and then they lose to the eagles. And then the way the season unfolded. You know, you never really gave up hope. Although at some point we were both like there's gonna. After the Miami game taking them off. I completely did. I'll admit it. I ever going stuck with his Rams over patriots Super Bowl on my God. If that happens we're going to have to take the Super Bowl if that happens. Okay. Yes. Is the MVP? It's going to be far worse. That's the perfect storm of pain in our ass. Yeah. We'll be Rams win and golf winds MVP. Yeah. I don't think I can emotionally handle coming in. And Steph curry hitting a game winning through tomorrow night against the Celtics be at the game wearing off jersey, go Goff jersey. He's going to have the first Gulf curry jersey, you know, like half Goff half curry. The colors. Matt have you missed him this week? No, not at all. Fantastic. It's sold like relaxed in non-confrontational, we can go at it, which is fun and Tucker jumps in. And I like his his takes as well. But there's no yelling and screaming. And nobody's disparaging my favorite athlete making us feel like idiots for. No good reason. Calling things dumpster fire squid as catchphrases. No. Here's all the difference union, no between Tucker and Christian Christians. Most viral three Twitter Twitter was him. Just ripping on people from Philadelphia Eagles. We're going to be terrible. They were going to go five and eleven. Yes. And he got a lottery tweets for that. Mostly people hating him, especially Philadelphia, very, very strong sports. Christian maintains that he won that even though they won nine games in a playoff game in close to getting back to the NFC champ style, whatever he wants to believe Tucker on the other hand puts together a hype video for the Super Bowl of all of Boston sports victories championships in this millennium. And that kind of went viral last night. So positive message from Tucker versus completely negative message Royston, and that's all you really need to know. But the difference of our to produce. Big Jim Murray re tweeted at Jeff how're tweeted it. Tweeted it. I retweeted of course, alibi. Check by check Mark. Some of those guys may not have a blue check work. I have the blue checkmark, dammit with less than two thousand followers. Does a great job. I do recommend people going on Twitter at Tucker, T and L. What is your Twitter handle? Tucker underscore TNL. Yes. I like that that's for third and long, which is podcast Tucker. The podcast two minute. Video on all the championships that Boston has one since February two thousand and two maybe they'll add to it in about nine days. But yeah, Tucker, very positive message. But a lot of good takes which I'm sure learned by being an internal mas- sometimes being a contrarian, which I like because I sometimes will they probably hated that video. They they don't wanna know if they've picked against the teams in every single one of those big one of the Tyree catch on his helmet and the Manningham. In the Bruins losing late against the Blackhawks two thousand and thirteen in Kobe pulling down fourteen I mean, that is kinda the amazing thing about this run of Boston sports is that you could also put together a video of all the times they've lost because they've been there. So many times to except for the Red Sox have yet to lose the World Series. Yeah. Yeah. They don't generally lose. They only lost once in the American League championship series. I was Aaron Boone homerun in there. I wanted to two thousand and three and then they lost a in game seven in two thousand and eight. So during this run there when they get to the league championship series. They're four and two. And then they go on to win the World Series all four times. So yeah, just an incredible run only really challenged once in the World Series. Cardinal Saint Louis had a two games to one lead. And then the Red Sox won the final three sweep sweep in. Yeah. Pretty good. So there's what sixteen in three and a half. Pretty good. Pretty good. I'd say right again beating Colorado. Wasn't impressive Colorado hadn't lost for like a month going into that. Rob tober? Yes. Remember, but there was a big gap between the national championship series in the World Series. It's like whatever momentum they have was gone by the World Series. But this match up coming up between the pats. And the Rams the first thing that will infuriate me when people say this is a rematch of Super Bowl thirty six. No, it's not first of all the Rams were in Saint Louis. There's no one involved with the Rams that still with the Rams, including the owner. Stan Kroenke was a very silent owner like a very few percentage points of the team back in two thousand and two. He ended up purchasing the entire team with his WalMart fortune midway through the decade. So he wasn't really involved in two thousand and two and the only three patriots that were part of the patriots team in two thousand and two of the owner the coach in the quarterback. So it's it's not a rematch, and it's not even from the same city there in Saint Louis in L A jerseys have even changed for the Rams like their colors. Different. Yeah. I wear the gold, really, you know, I love their uniforms. I think their uniform, this is really cool the retro uniforms. So there's all the match ups. We're going to talk about today in next week and Saturday and Sunday leading up to the game from one to four every afternoon next week on road to the ring Sean McVay, the Thirty-three-year-old head coach against Bill Belichick, the sixty six year old head coach of the New England Patriots. But what I wanted just kind of delve into a little bit today is quarterback matchup. Right. We've got Tom Brady. Forty one years old one five Super Bowls three league MVP's unquestionably the greatest quarterback of the Super Bowl era and Jared Goff. Who's in his third year was the first pick in the draft back in two thousand and sixteen disappointed his first year the last two years, he's been very very good. Let's take a listen to Colin coward. Who said that these two quarterbacks. We don't have that Tucker. Sound is broken currently trying to? Okay, sounds good. But would come have. Five reset. And I agree with it. There's a few things they have in common. Now, obviously, they don't have in common where they came in the draft. Because Gough was the first pick Brady was one hundred ninety nine th pick. But the similarities are that they're very cultural, right? Appears to be that way. And they also have great coaches that have been able to get the most out of them bell check in Sean McVay McVay, and it's only two years. But it looks like that could be a pretty interesting run going forward or by coach do you mean that they're not openly revolting against their coach? Is that what you mean by coach cultural? Yeah. Because my guy Aaron Rodgers can sometimes be construed as not coach -able. Yeah. In your estimate. What happened in golf's rookie year? Jeff Fisher show was that bad. Was he was that bad was that bad? And also say if you remember in his first year with the Rams Gurley was hurt a lot the year before Gurley was drafted high by the Rams had a great rookie season. But he was really banged up in the second season. So we didn't have the running back to help him. Their offensive line was not as good. Remember? Greg Robinson was drafted a few years before that not to be a total bust. They sound Andrew Whitworth the big offensive tackle from the Bengals whose outstanding multiple time pro bowler. So now, you put a really good left tackle alongside quarterback. So the blindside is protected you get Todd Gurley as you're running back back, healthy and productive. And you get some of those weapons Robert woods grows as a player. They had Sammy Watkins the ended up acquiring him. And then this year, of course, Brandin cooks. So I think that just were better pieces around Jared Goff in a second season. Computers was first season. And of course, Jeff. Jeff Fischer is not exactly a quarterback whisperer. If anything he someone who's impacted quarterbacks negativity over the Vince young Vince young came into the league and looked like he was going to be a really good prospect in Jeff Fisher, never never jibes with him. And I think that that was a problem with Jared Goff. Then you bring in Sean McVay. But again, don't forget Jared Goff. I believe it was twenty one as a rookie very very young an awful rookie year. But does ask him was awful. The team was terrible. That really hurt Jeff Fisher's legacy to call it. The fact that he team was how many years in a row did they finished like seven nine. And remember you had the hard knocks things bleep in finishing seven and nine zero four four four fired at the end of that year. Yeah. And then they weren't they went eleven games. The next year next year with Sean McVay, essentially. Yeah. But again, they brought him Whitworth that really solidified the offensive line getting girly healthy. And then just those receivers growing as well it helped all of that growth of Jared Goff. So a little bit different start Brady one hundred ninety nine th pick Goff the first pick in the draft. So they're coming from different places that both California guys, California. Cool both about six foot four. They both good. Looking guys short ladies like Jared Goff out in California. We know Tom Brady is married to the world's most famous, supermodel. So they've got that kind of cool factor about them. Let's listen now to Colin coward. He gives us the similarities between Tom Brady and Jared Goff, the three things I really see similarities. Is there? Teammates. Love sacrifice forum. You don't hear that a lot with Aaron Rodgers? You didn't hear that a lot? With Jay Cutler teammates. You don't hear that a lot with Big Ben their teammates loved them want to win for them. Second thing body image issues mocked for it. Off show. You third thing is when you have an all time genius head coach. They get a ton of credit for your success. And let's be honest. You want prove people wrong. I think we're looking at the next Brady in not getting nine Super Bowls. But I think golf of all these young quarterbacks absolutely shares Brady traits. Did Christian tell them to say that it means. Exact sounds exactly like that's what I'm going to send Christian for his birthday. Yeah. That exist that cut first of all I'll I'll get on your wall here a little bit east should not put Aaron Rodgers and same sentences. Jay Cutler, that's not fair to Aaron Rogers, Allen Rogers, Allen Rogers, first of all, I think Scott in the most of his talent Jay Cutler didn't. And I also think that Jay Cutler might be the ultimate a-hole that played in the league in the last twelve years, Arron Rogers, I think is just aloof and a very smart guy. But I haven't heard that his teammates dislike them, occasionally, someone leaves and has something to say about him..

"Fifty three the patriots of the Rams takes place. I'm happy that we're going to be doing some supersized shows supersize shows. Yes, that's how I've been billing it. I mean, it's Super Bowl deserves extra attention. Right. Does even though it's the ninth time in eighteen years. They're going it's like old hat, but you know, what we don't know if this is going to continue on, of course, we said that last year. Okay. This must be the last time Brady and Belle. Check are going to go and then they lose to the eagles. And then the way the season unfolded, you never really gave up hope. Although at some point we were both like there's going to. After the Miami game taking them off. I completely did. I'll admit it. I ever going stuck with his Rams over patriots Super Bowl. Oh my God. If that happens we're going to have to take the Super Bowl if that happens. Okay. Yes. Goth is the MVP. It's going to be far worse. That's the perfect storm of pain in our ass. Yeah. We'll be Rams win and golf win wins MVP. That would I don't think I can emotionally handle coming in. And Steph curry hitting a game winning through tomorrow night against the Celtics be at the game wearing a golf jersey, go Goff jersey. He's going to have the first Gulf curry jersey, you know, like half Goff half curry. The colors. Matt have you missed him this week? No, not at all. Fantastic. Isn't it? It's sold like relaxed in non-confrontational, we can go at it, which is fun and Tucker jumps in. And I like his his takes as well. But there's no yelling and screaming. And nobody's disparaging my favorite athlete making us feel idiots for. No good reason. Calling things dumpster fire squid as catchphrases. No. Here's all the difference union, no between Tucker and Christian Christians. Most viral. Tweeter Twitter was him. Just ripping on people from Philadelphia Eagles. We're going to be terrible. They were gonna go five and eleven and he got a lottery tweets for that. And mostly people hating him, especially Philadelphia, very very strong sports at Christian maintains that he won that even though they won nine games in a playoff game in close to getting back to the NFC champ style, whatever he wants to believe Tucker on the other hand puts together a hype video for the Super Bowl of all of Boston sports victories championships miss millennium. And that kind of went viral last night. So positive message from Tucker versus completely negative message Ryerson, and that's all you really need to know. But the difference of our to produce. Big Jim Murray re tweeted at Jeff how're he tweeted. It. Br tweeted it I retweeted. Of course, the hell am I do have a book? Some of those guys may not have a blue check work. I have the blue checkmark, dammit with less than two thousand followers. It was a great job. I do recommend people going on Twitter at Tucker, T and L. What is your Twitter handle? Tucker underscore TNL. Yes, I like that that's for third and long, which is his podcast Tucker. Uh-huh. The podcast two minute. Video on all the championships that Boston has one since February two thousand and two maybe they'll add to it in about nine days. But yeah, Tucker, very positive message. But a lot of good takes which I'm sure learned by being an intern grandma's sometimes being a contrarian which like because I you know, sometimes they probably hated that video. They they don't wanna know if they've picked against the teams in every single one of those Tyree catch on his helmet and the Manningham catch. And the Bruins losing late against the Blackhawks of two thousand and thirteen in Kobe pulling down fourteen I mean, that is kind of the amazing thing about this run of Boston sports is that you could also put together a video of all the times they've lost. Because they've been there. So many times do except for the Red Sox yet to lose the World Series win. Yeah. Yeah. They don't generally lose only lost once in the American League championship series. I was Aaron Boone home run in there and get out you wanted to two thousand and three. And then they lost the Tampa in game seven in two thousand and eight. So during this run there when they get to the league championship series four foreign two, and then they go on to win the World Series all four times. So yeah, just an incredible run only really challenged once in the World Series. Cardinal Saint Louis had a two games to one lead. And then the Red Sox won the final three sweep sweep in. Yeah. Pretty good. So there's what sixteen in three and a half. Dominant. Pretty good pretty good. I'd say right again beating Colorado wasn't impressive. But Colorado hadn't lost for like a month going into that. Rob tober? Yes. Remember, but there was a big gap between the national championship series in the World Series. It's like whatever momentum they had was gone by the World Series. So he wasn't really involved in two thousand and two and the only three patriots that were part of the patriots team in two thousand and two of the owner the coach and the quarterback. So it's it's not a rematch, and it's not even from the same city there in Saint Louis. This one's in L, A jersey. Have even changed the Rams like their colors. Different. Yeah. I don't wear the gold. Really? Oh, more. No. I love their uniforms. I think their uniform, this is really cool the retro uniforms. So there's all the match ups. We're gonna talk about today and next week and Saturday and Sunday leading up to the game from one to four every afternoon next week on road to the ring Sean McVay, the Thirty-three-year-old head coach against Bill bell. Check the sixty six year old head coach of the New England Patriots. But what I wanted to just kind of delve into a little bit today is quarterback match. Right. We've got Tom Brady. Who said that these two quarterbacks. We don't have that Tucker. Sound is broken or currently? Okay. Sounds good. But would calm happy Colin coward. By what he said. And I agree with it. There's a few things they have in common. Now, obviously, they don't have in common where they came in the draft. Because Gough was the first pick Brady was one hundred and ninety ninth BIC. But the similarities are that they're very cultural, right? Appears to be that way. And they also have great coaches that have been able to get the most out of the ballot. Check in Sean, McVay McVay, and it's only two years. But it looks like that could be a pretty interesting run going forward or by coach do you mean that they're not openly revolting against their coach? Is that what you mean by coach people? Yeah. Because my guy Aaron Rodgers can sometimes be construed as not coach -able. Yeah. In your estimate. What happened in golf's rookie year? Jeff Fisher was the coach was that. "Some of these older coaches are looking at these younger hires and they're going. Yeah. Okay. Again, John FOX was on the mothership former coach with the bears and the Broncos he was asked about cliff kings there, you know, the younger guys. All right. We'll say young guy. The trend. Now, these young offensive minded guys. It was a segment called get off by law. It was really good. John fox. He would he thinks John. What do you think of them? Hiring these young good looking guys. They're man throw it out to get up. And greenie you've got Rex Ryan with this higher. Yeah. Not pleased. Yeah. I don't know of Rex's agent. Put it out there that Rex was on the shortlist for Tampa Bay. That's not what you need in. Tampa Bay was Rex you don't need ranks. That wouldn't go. Well with James Winston if you're trying to develop James Winston or you think you and I think Bruce Arians likes Jameis Winston. Rex Ryan would not be my guy not not gonna be my gun or Jeff Fischer would not be. She got these the old crusty defensive guys. You know, they're looking at these young whippersnappers going. Okay. Bring it on. Yeah. It's new wave here. That'd be be great. If you've got like just five disgruntled, former defensive minded head coaches had him sit around. It's called countdown is. We've already got a show with that doesn't Jason Garrett of the Cowboys field like a young NFL head coach when you look at does he look like a pretty young fresh. He was when he was hired. He's fifty two he's twenty years older than Sean McVay. Yeah. But Pete Carroll seems younger than Jason Garrett. Do I think Pete Carroll sixty seven he's like fifteen years older than Jason Garrett? But. I would like some young out of shape coach to get hired like a nice twenty seven year old guy who's just let himself go. I'll let you guys are in great shape. And I know they all look good. Yeah. Kingsbury does even wear shirt on the sidelines. Arizona it's if they open up the top. I'm gonna guess it'll be form fitting. Yeah, I'm gonna say medium under armor action. Yeah.
