"Day. Three of liz's recon. We're in addison for a classic british time trial but there is nothing classic about this time of the numbers sixteen kilometers ten miles. But no one here natual carriageways name five miles about out roundabout ten five miles straight out. The gate we hit series of rises up and down. Nothing concern rightous. But it will touch that patient strategies. It's been throwing it down all night and spy skies and sunshine today rubbish on the roads. The organization have done an amazing job of clearing out the roads this farm tracks at the bottom and pretty tricky mud. Line down the middle potholes referees. It's gonna be a lot to test the writers today. Just stay the halfway now and the organization have done a really good job of trying to clean up this. 'cause it's so mucky at points with less from the g and there's one big problem isn't s wind the trees are shutting leaves in this brace and it's a constant battle to keep the road surface switzerland. The dump visit tarmac free of leaf and tractors. I'm trying to contractors commander fields and cross in leaving debris from that. You'll get all of the road. It was my concern because last night i was trying to sleep. On it was. The rain was thrashing against windy as the wind was howling down. I just thought if attract comes and dumps mud everywhere. There's not much you can do about it. You can try and find the road but they're still going to be that layer of mud and you're saying you broke is on the cost that just say writers watch out absolutely you'll go to on energy. Marshals positioned in various locations on the cost seem to avoid the reuters that there is a hazard bomb sharp bend or deviation or puddle or some modern road appreciate team cars with iraqis and they'll be briefing their riders as their warden along but they still noise have someone at the roadside just given a visual warning that there is a hazard ahead compare. Well that was the sound of demi. Gang passed on her rican. I'm just past eight k. To go now almost at the seven k to go mark and that's really the trickiest point of the cost done now between twelve and seven. Kate ago there's a series of really difficult lanes it's constantly left right small rises up and down and you can't take the racing line the middle of the road has got grit or there's a layer of mud and despite the fact that the organizers done a great job cleaning it if you sign on your breaks in the wrong place you were gonna slide. So who's going to be today. I think it's going to be a case of ood. As wins isn't a writer his powerful writer whose punchy in a writer his sketch take risks. Who's not scared to take risks on the corners. I've done ten laps. The coast now so pretty good understanding what the writers have in them and On the last lap had close rates as well which was nice so you can kind of take the racing line and get a real idea. Oh here comes the first ride through. Come on jess jeff allen from bike exchange so two kilometers to go now. It's pretty uncomplicated. Run into acton aston town center and then in the last about five hundred meters. That's right left to the finish but other than that. It's not to technical at the finish is really the middle part of the course where it's constantly up down left and right.

"They're like bill. You know this narrative the right narrative of bill gates being this epstein takeover thing. But then you sit back and say what is guy worth north of one hundred billion dollars really need to do that like if he believes. The population controls a problem. I try and pull my mind in his mind and come up with like. What is the true narrative now again. This is gonna sell conspiracy theory. But i would believe that. There is a consequence of vaccine that could make people in for and the desire to have everyone on her take. It then says that your twenty years from now there are less children which is way better than the avengers snap the finger standards away but if half the world didn't have kids 'cause there's some complication now we get to the problem. Which is world. Population is the issue in scarcity. So could that be related again. It's like all airy-fairy high pie in the sky. But like i would believe that more than all these other things about bill gates and epstein in davos and take over the world like that doesn't even make any logical sense but like if you worry about population control. I would pay women under thirty to not have kids the united states. I would do away with the child tax credit and i would give women under thirty thirty thousand dollars if they make it to the thirty thirty th to not have kids because we have a population problem and i would educate people because everyone knows that the higher women get an education overseas in third world countries. They have less kids. Yes not educated that because at twelve and then fourteen and sixteen in the eighteen and then twenty and your prime birthing years if they stay in school until eighteen they skip for kids and then the wealthier countries become. They have less kids. Yeah and so if we believe populations problem which i believe have less kits. So if you were to tell me that he's somehow influenced vaccine blah blah blah and people have kids blah blah blah by that but all these other conspiracy theories. Don't make any sense. This is really fun it is i. I love david like a. I don't even know where to start down to. Yeah that was good but here. Let me say i used to believe wholeheartedly that there's a population i used to believe that there was a food shortage issues not There is a water issue for sure. That is huge. That's probably going to be the biggest issue that working face. And you're right about that. I no longer. And i love it when i'm proved wrong and i have to think about things like different conclusion so i have my own opinions. I think well-founded by absolutely love changing them. yeah One of the things that changed was somebody convinced me to think of population a little bit differently. If you believe in evolution which. I hope everybody does. I know her in the south. And that's not really still but it is. If you don't that's fine to never talk to me whatever need as a species to get better and better and better is to reproduce reproduction a lottery and the more you replicate the dna. The more chances you have thinking about like pulling a lever on a slot machine right the smaller you make your population the less fertile. Become the less amount of children you have. You can become more sensible different diseases. Not grow as much such genome grow as much and what we want is to find as many bill gates is. Many ghandi's is a good people. Steve jobs i mean. These people changed the face of the entire world. We need more edison's like who's going to be the next edison. And the only way to do that is to continue pulling that lever so we get that so there's an idea of. Oh we have too. Many people i agree. There's there's too many people in the wrong parts of the world thinking the wrong things specifically middle east Was pretty much number one but we need to educate those people give them cell phones and internet and access education because who knows the next person that solves the next crisis is probably going to be somebody using dung to fire their house so my perspective is not that we have a scarce a scarcity issue of resources Aside from water. What i think is we have a scarcity of education because we need people engineers and problem solving people. I do truly believe in humanity that we can create solutions to problems and Wind is not a solution to anything. solar cool but still not solution. Anything in real time. The only thing we have on our plate right now is nuclear and fossil fuels. What we need is more people with education not stopping population. We need to reproduce and that is my take on it. Well the problem with education. You're talking about education. But i feel like everyone gets decisions based on what their cousin You know post on facebook you know. They're not doing the research. And i do not diving in not doing the critical thinking or following the money. Find out how things are so when it goes education. I i agree. But i'm kind of i think I think we have a huge news media social media issue right now. That's kind of putting fear and people just like you said like the put the numbers Cnn was put the numbers on because trove of ratings and reviews so so one of the things like when you talked about how how i appeal by ganja right so having conversations with people again as wide like uber because i learned so so to your point in terms of the progression of the species and the macro value of what we are at the end of the day were like we're animals and we procreate we are genetic material on and we try and like dominate. That's what the lion does. That's what right. And so so i think about it from the perspective of like corona buyers. Why are we saving everyone since at the end of the day. It's about societal advancement. And finding the smartest the best whatever progress but we've moved to this common denominator of save everyone and so to your point whether it's more population less population if the goal is to make humanity smarter better more able to survive more able to problem solve. Then that's merit system and the smartest best fastest hungriest survived. Which in the wild like. The slow antelope gets the entire enacts. Not yet with krona virus. Right you shut down entire world for twelve months in various levels of panic and it eight point seven percent of the people who died were over sixty five like fourteen percent i believe is the number of fatalities over eighty the average life spans. Eighty like we spent. We shut down an entire civilization for a year to save an eight year old three months of life. I totally agree with them. And so so again. So i peel the layers off. I have a view that that looks at population. And then you hear something else and then you think about it and you say okay. What's the end goal. And how does that. And that's what i try. And do if i may build a little bit I believe if you're alive today and you're thirty five you're done You better work hard. Figure out what you're doing but we were trying to do is make the world ready for the next mission. The kids are being born now that people that have potential. That's where human potential right so you're older and you're from cohen. That's really really sad. China murdered you. And i'm sorry. But i toll wholeheartedly believe in It was a leak from the lab. I think china acted as an agent as if they were in charge of it. At least 'cause they have the population control They've population and i'm like you. I'm going off topic here but let me be very clear the If the goal like you said.

"He wasn't using the spoon. You would pick it up and he would slurp it and i was just sitting there and it was almost like jesus christ man on like this guy should be. You should get an award for just being alive right now. And i remember hearing him and he said he was talking to somebody across from he said you know what i love about this place and this is not a representation of the problem. I know what isn't but this is what he said. You know what i love about. This place is that they don't want women inside of here and that's literally what he said and do they not know they do you think he was. He was definitely from a different era. He was probably old misogynistic guy that just he was. The guy was drinking cold soup his own world. He was definitely in his own world and more power to them for living that life as long as he did. But that's a a an issue. That i think a lot of clubs have to deal with because a lot of the clubs in houston and Of golf courses to have a longtime long history of not letting certain people in. Oh i got kicked out of the river oaks country. Keep out. I keep so. I was there for a golfing tournament. I it was a charity event. Right so i was there and i'm not a big golf rate so i went there It was best ball in a few guys. On our team were pros and it was just. I got invited by somebody. So i went there. I just thought it'd be a fun time and i went. It was in the middle of summer. Right and i went in a t shirt or not t-shirt polisher and tap alarmed right and they were like. Hey can you go to the pro shop and buy yourself a sleeve shirt and then i was like no hot. I don't want. I don't want to psych and then the managers like listen would give get you all right. We have no prompt. I didn't get the sense of too much. I want to be like all this raises racist. I kinda hate the people who just kind of just scream racist for everything. But i was like man. I don't want to. it's hot. I i really don't want to and the manager was pretty cool about it. He was like come on man. He's like he's like he's like if you got tattoos or even if you had piercings i'd have to ask you to cover those up and he's like makes certain guests uncomfortable and this and that and i'm just like dude come on. Are you serious. And he was. He was cordial about it. I've heard that many times. Actually some of my friends have gone tattoo. I assure so. I i was just like you know what i'm okay and So yeah my dad lives like a couple of blocks away. So i i do want to his house and i waited for them to get done and then i went.

"More about that the second. We had Jeff Allen on the radio here. Jeff Allen is one of all time favorite comedians. I've never seen them live. But I've seen him operate on television. Several hundred times and he's really good. Now, they always have to throw in fact site right now. Jeff, Allen comedy dot com. Where is it here? It says Jeff Allen, one of the funniest most inspirational clean corporate comedians, amazing actually have to say that used to be dirty now, he's the nominee just super funny guy. And I know this call into the show is going to be going to be at the comedy Kessler. Royal Oak on may fifth that's all up on the site. Now, why is this important is has his latest comedy? Stick around the America grew up in being him the America that he grew up. We're talking briefly about that about the America that we both grew up. We're both close to the same age tenure difference. I'm old he, but a lot of what we talk about on this show goes back to when you hear from saying make America great again, you you'll get the psychotic left turning out around as an he wants to go back to slavery and racism anyone's go back to where women. And couldn't vote. No, no, no, no. We want to go back to when cars recall, we wanna go back to possibly what I don't drink beer. But when a case of beer was a dollar thirteen you get what I'm saying. We want to go back to where people have to worry about making a joke. It was off color or possibly racist. Because it wasn't that big of a deal. It was a joke. We wanna make sure that people have a sense of humor and have fun that they talking about a kid in a car seat. That's good. You want your kids safe? But in a certain point at what point do, you have the kids a strap on a seatbelt, and you know, bad stuff happens. I talked about this earlier in the show. This doesn't excuse a couple of clowns dressed like something out of maybe Batman villains. They go and shoot up a school full of people and talking about Columbine those gothic psychotics in any way. No people like that must be killed. We don't murder people. We kill people that need to be killed. If somebody's going to school shoot up a bunch of kids. We want to kill them. Before they do that. Okay. Okay. Now, the America that I grew up in you wouldn't have a woman that gets just repeated what do they call it almost like a loop or she's the actuality of the news, and they go back in the hit that news loop over and over again saying this has been forty years since this happened, and and we should have done something by now. Like, what would you do man? What would you have to? What would you have us do to make sure nobody goes in and shoots up a school again? Well, she didn't say this. But what's implied? There is we need to get rid of all firearms, all the guns. We must get rid of assault weapons that would stop people from shooting up schools. Hardly that would not stop people from shooting. Maybe if you took every single weapon on the planet every single one. So there couldn't be any buried somewhere on a minute man's pharma. Or what do they call them? Freeman's farm up in Montana, if we took every single one, and we got him off the planet. Yeah. That might. People from shooting people with those weapons, but it's going gonna stop people from shooting people with weapons they can make themselves or stabbing. My point is is that we we had an America at one point that I wanna I wanna see us. Go back to. Sense of humor. It was intelligent. We cared about science. We knew that if you were born with a certain appendi-, you're a man if you were born with not a certain dependent, you're a woman, and that was it you could be gay play around dress up like hover you wanted to play dress up all you want..

"That's great for him. I don't begrudge Antonio Brown forgetting what he was looking for. But I understand why some people don't like this move. I understand why doesn't always sit. Well, when levian bell signs a contract decides he's worth more doesn't get the number. He wants even though he was offered a massive number and just doesn't play doesn't play for a team and. Teammates, and coaches that he was contractually obligated to it. I just I get it. There's a middle ground to me where there's empowerment and players working for what they're owed. That isn't also you know, there's somewhere in the middle here. But when we talk about doing everything he can't party to get off of a team. Like think about the everything that they can that that gets done that we don't think of as maniacal or as as science like tell everybody that Ben Rothlisberger or there. Fully his fifty two kids. And he's the guy they should all be watching even before that though, sir. How about in the mix where you're looking around and you're Tonio Brown, and you're like wait a minute to switch Shuster is a good player. But he's only got two less targets than I do this far in the season. And he's being voted team MVP. And and all of a sudden, my guaranteed money is up. So now, I'm going to a precarious position without a safety net of financial security going forward. Like all these things that happen. They don't happen by chance. I I think that a lot of NFL teams go about their business in a way that we're so used to digest lands. That's it. We're like, oh, yeah. That's that's just business. Whereas when a player takes it into a just business kind of more like, oh, whoa. Whoa. You contractually? Just reach out. All right. This is ABC fifteen reporter, Jamie, Warren, describing this barrier which wildlife world zoo says was it beats federal standards. This is what the barrier looks like it's about three feet tall about four feet from the fence at in-between a lot of thorny bushes. So basically, it's it's about the size of one of those walls you'd see in somebody's front yard between the sidewalk and their lawn. Whether that lawn is to consist of Grasser Iraq's you know, that's up to the homeowner. Right. But I mean, that's that's about the height of the wall, maybe a little bit taller than something like that. And then they've got you know, four feet between the barrier and the actual enclosure which is somewhat open, obviously, the cat was able to reach. It's it's Paul through and cut that woman. And this guy is well, he says he got a lawyer for a case that never got to court, but he wasn't looking for a payday month. All my wife, and I want to. Barrier. Yeah. And I I've seen video of it too. I haven't seen this particular enclosure in person. But just looking at the video of it. It's it doesn't seem to be much of a barrier. But if you respect the barrier, you should be absolutely fine. If you're not if you don't reach in there to take a close up picture of the cat or climb over the barrier to get close a picture of the cat with you. You should be safe. And you know, and if you don't, but, but I think the guy's got a point even if it meets federal standards, a kid could climb over this fence this barrier, and maybe wildlife world zoo needs to, you know, think about going beyond federal regulations five twenty now, let's get over to the valley Chevy dealers traffic.

"Podcast network i'm your host always jeff allen often with me is mark souza we are so close to be able to predict and the super bowl we're one day away from doing all the predictions and all that good stuff we will be doing maybe a super retrospective we will see our that goes we'll talk about goodell speaking for the first time since the miss rams saints game the happened n._f._c. championship game a couple of weeks ago and anything else that needs to be discussed we will have it ready for you but first roger goodell has spoken he says he was talking about cabernet he was talking about referees and basically he was defending the referees and kind of stir shot of capital honestly what he say about cabernet he was basically how he said it was like if if he was gonna if he was gonna help a team when he would be signed by now so it was kind of like saying like he's not good enough almost i'm not trying to words in his came off that way to me yeah he said it's up to the individual teams determined to sign who don't sign that the league office has nothing to do that yeah which makes sense but you can also see like they can also like in cabernet camp i think they were saying on the long lines like they can influence teams though to make those decisions yeah there's still the pending collusion lawsuit against the league so yeah i mean obviously cavernous people are saying that teams colluded into keeping him off of a roster out of the league so we will see what happens if that goes to court and what the result is of that but yeah i mean obviously most of yesterday's speculation comes from what he said about the ram seats game and about replay yeah he's just saying we have the best camera work we have the best cameras in convert out chin and referees in the world which is yeah probably sounds about right like arguably are obviously it's always arguable statement we say someone's the best ever but in the terms of everything else he was right when he said freeze for human they make mistakes it was a massive mistake obviously because it was the one of the most important plays of the game that determined almost term the basically did too to determine the outcome yeah and with that that's why people are saying was this was a miscarriage of justice and they also look in fact all the the referees were associated in southern california one way or another which is i understand why you would be a little upset by that as well if you're a fan of the saints because i feel that does feel a little suspicious seems a little tin foil hat in my opinion oh absolutely it does but if you're a saints fan you would you can you can see your saints fan your of every single thing right now give everything say i blame them they'll be that was a that was one of the i shouldn't out their head coach and the way that they managed that game late n being up thirteen points with jew breeze running back on first down champagne is honestly i consider him a little overrated in my opinion i know he's a risk taker.

"We mentioned against Ben Rothlisberger in the Steelers. But you look kind of similarities and this chiefs team a lot of similarities to the two thousand thirteen Broncos team that ended up eating the patriots in the conference championship. Peyton manning. NFL record fifty five touchdowns in two thousand thirteen Patrick Mahomes. Fifty touchdowns this year. You look at the regular season. The patriots beat the Broncos by three points in Foxborough during the two thousand thirteen regular season this year. The patriots beat the chiefs by. Points in Foxborough during the regular season. The Broncos hosted the AFC championship. The chiefs will host the AFC championship on Sunday. And we'll try to channel that team and get to the Super Bowl. And I can't emphasize this enough if the chiefs find a way to win this game on Sunday, and they very well might they're an excellent football team with a great young quarterback. We will look back at that play that the Miami Dolphins unleashed against doing patriots and wonder if that was the play, but that basically ended the New England Patriots season that day. It's incredible. It all come down to one play and some happened in week thirteen fourteen. It always has an effect down. Evan. Thanks for joining us. Enjoy the conference championship games on Sunday. Thanks out of me to ask Adam osc, ask fast datum, we should ask Adam legged divisional rounds in the book. We are looking ahead to the conference championship weekend for help. With your ask Adam questions, turn to my friend. My colleague. My producer, Josh macrey. Josh what have we got today got friend and colleague, I Adam I appreciate that. Well, you mentioned in colleagues another another great weekend of playoff action, which had one of our listeners asking, hey could more teams and more cities actually be a part of this in the future. Give a listen. Hello, Adam money, Jim from South Carolina. And I was wondering with the NFL ever considered going to eighteen per conference playoff format. It just seems like it's way too big of an advantage for the number one number two seeds to have a vibe week. Plus, then we would get four more cities every year that we get to experience the playoff excitement. Thank you. Jim. Screw question. I actually kinda liked the size of the field right now. I think there's something to be said for the regular season as it is right now that top seed the top two seeds getting bison we've seen teams with five hundred or so five hundred record sneak into the plus and there's an outcry. And that's before we expand the playoff feel, Jim. So I don't see that happening. I haven't heard any movement for more teams. I haven't heard any calls for more teams other than yours, Jim. So I don't think it's happening. But if it changes will certainly let you know, I think it's perfect the way it is like you said, Adam I mean, it makes it so that there's some value to get into one of those top Juno and it makes the regular season. More means would or you don't wanna turn this into the NHL where the NBA or the NBA eight and NBA to me to be. I think it's perfect the way it is. And I think the buys are meaningful..

Jeff Allen is calling in. Hello, jeff. How are you? Well, you know, I just I'm trying to keep my blood pressure down, and and this nonsense. Just doesn't end. Yeah. It doesn't keep going. So I I was talking to Tammy. And I realized this all began with the nineteenth amendment the way we can repeal it and start over the they'd started with the nineteenth amendment and you want it repealed. Tammy said, well, it's probably not going to happen because there's too many women in congress. But. Right thought right, by the way. Should we say that's a joke? So we. No. I don't think he is joking joking. I heard I heard it myself. I don't think he was joking. My gosh. Exactly, I I just isn't that what you taught your son, Jeff. I sat my boys down when they hit that age when they started dating, and I sit that somebody's daughter. Somebody's future mother. And and it's doing well. Yes, it should. It's very good show. And it's funny because it's one of the few sitcoms in history where there's a strong man elite back in two thousand one I did a pilot for Castle Rock and one of the reasons they were going to do the pilot with news because we pitched a strong male. Sitcom and the the head of the studio he was fifty five years old at the time. And he said to me goes, you know, it's so unusual. And he said, it's. It used calm sitcoms used to have strong male leads that he remembered years ago, I started with all in the family. And that's when things started getting kind of absurd. But yeah, I said I could change the diaper can do all that other stuff without looking like a bumbling idiot. And obviously it didn't get picked up. Right. But Tim is one of the guys who is. I would say almost the the stereotypical guy that Gillette should be preaching against his his act has been that. And yet he hasn't been affected by this at all. In fact, if anything maybe being made stronger. Right. Because there's a there's a desire. I guess the desire for it. I mean, whether they want to come out and publicly admitted, but it's. I think a strong manner attractive. I I really do. We have the tape. Yeah. You got that? I'd tell you that on tape that. So I I'm attracted to strong. I went that way. Right. Right. Right. Right. Tim. Tim, Jeff, it's great. No, no relation to to Mellon. That's kind of samples. All the time. I had a guy get me a job somewhere in the guy comes over to me. And he goes size your brother.
