"And the folks I'm talking to Mark Shaw brand new book Collateral damage about the mysterious deaths of Marilyn Monroe and Dorothy Ko Gallon We get into RFK JFK, the mob. This is heavy stuff, Mark continually. So so you basically proved to yourself. There is no way that Marilyn Monroe committed suicide or overdosed. Unfortunately, that kind of leaves murder and so you're looking at motives. You said Just when we went to the break, she and RFK, We're having a torrid love affair. Is there any other kind toward love affair? Um Right around the time that she died, so continue, Okay. Maybe just go back quickly to how I did this ass backwards. And why had the advantage by the way? It's pronounced bass Ackwards. I just excuse me. Get careful with us. Okay? I investigated the JFK assassination first. That's 1963. Then I investigated Dorothy Kilgallen, his death. That's 1965. You wouldn't normally do that. You would normally start with Marilyn Monroe's death in 1962. By the way, they died within 40 months of each other. If you think about that, at very early ages, Maryland 36 JFK 46. I believe in Maryland and and Dorothy Kilgallen 52. And so I I did that backwards. But once I got through the JFK assassination and the Kilgallon case Things opened up with regard to Maryland situation. Most people remember that Marilyn had an affair with JFK. And her singing Happy birthday to him in all of that, But actually it was a very short love affair, and it was broken off by Joe Kennedy. But who was there to pick up the stripes was Bobby Kennedy. He became enthralled with her. He visited her several times in Los Angeles when he was working on a movie with his book The Enemy Within. I Have All Of that proof in the book with Regard to this So I got to thinking who had the motive to have, you know, have gotten involved with not only gotten involved with Maryland but then could have been involved in her death. But Gianni Russo may have told you was the Maryland got herself in trouble. She had this love affair with him. It's proven for sure this is a probably can't read it, so I'll read it. But this is a letter from Jean Kennedy Smith to Marilyn Monroe. Understand that you and Bobby are the new items. Exclamation mark. We all think you should come with him when he comes back east Jean Kennedy Smith. That's one of the who is Dean Kennedy Smith. That's the president's sister. President Kennedy's sister. Now why would President Kennedy's sister Right to Marilyn Monroe in a sort of approving way when obviously she has a sister in law. Ethel Kennedy married RFK. I don't get that. Well, we'll never know. She died apparently and I tried. She died recently and I tried to interview her, but she wouldn't come talk to me. You know, I think that it was a spur of the moment thing she knew about. Bobby. She wanted him to be happy. I think she knew that. You know, there were all kinds of problems with that. So I mean, he was a philander. Just like JFK was. They were running around with all these different women and everything. So I think that she found she thought that Hey, Or maybe he said something to her. You know, I found somebody you know one of the things that I'm going to bring up in a minute. Maryland was not a dumb blonde. She was much smarter than people give her credit for. For instance, she was an avid reader. For God's sake. She read. Ulysses. I tried to read that book and couldn't when you say, Ulysses. We're not talking about you know the wonderful poem by Homer you're talking. Unfortunately, about the pretentious Modernist home by James Joyce. The only book worse than Ulysses Finnegan's wake, which he has the honour. Also, yes. Having typed, But you said she read Ulysses. Didn't she just feel the pressure to do that? Because she's hanging out with Arthur Miller? I'm not sure that anybody would really volunteer Lee might have the proof about Maryland really comes in a book that I'm going to promote, of course. It's called fragments. And it contains all of Merrill. Maryland's writings on back back of receipt, book receipts of, um in hotels on stationary there and everything. People will be amazed at what she wrote the poem, she wrote. All of that. I've included two or three of them in the book for people to look at. At one point she, uh she was in an auction and she bought some manuscripts. I mean, Maryland was much brighter than everybody thought she was and and you know, that was one of the things that Dorothy Kilgallon found out. That's one of the reasons I think they became friends and all of that. But she got herself in trouble. When she felt like she was being used by Robert just as she had been used by JFK and Russo may have told you about a gathering up at the Cala Niva Club on the On the border of Tahu and California. Not too far from where I live. And they were going to use Maryland and they were going to take videos of her and everything and she started screaming. I'm going to the press. I'm going to talk about my affairs with both Kennedy's I'm going to talk about You know, matters of national security. And all of that, and all that is proven through a document that I found, uh, an FBI or CIA, a document that was in Was published in August. 3rd 1962 now think about that date because that's the day before Maryland died, okay, and in their it talks about Exactly what was going on that there was a wiretap between Dorothy Kilgallon and a friend of hers, and they learn certain things about this and just to tell you Um Kilgallon reply that she knew. Excuse me, Um But when he gets the right page here, Okay, this is yeah, the right one. Now, is it? You're really going to the actual documents. Usually guests on the show. Just blow smoke, and we never check up on him. Well, you won't. You won't find me. You won't finally doing that. Basically, Basically it talks about the love affair and that you know that they had been carrying on And it says that, uh um Bobby Kennedy had told Maryland he was going to divorce his wife. Now hang on. This is this is we're getting into the very juicy stuff, folks. I'm talking to Mark Shaw. The book is collateral damage will be right back..

"Kennedy got engaged to Jackie Bouvier, which we all know Jean Kennedy, her great friend with whom she was sharing an apartment down here. Got married to Steve Smith EFI Harris or other friend got married and moved to Mexico my mother's alone. In a little Garrett apartment in Boston staring out at the comments wondering what's happened to her life? Six months after she met my father. She picked up the phone call to his head. If you're still interested Mary, he was on the next plane. That's a good opening line. I like the cut of your jib that will work. Yeah. Well, it did back then back, then that it did now sort of spell that. That. Get to get in trouble here, her book is called how to forget a daughter's memoir will pick this conversation up in just a moment. It's Bill and Wendy in WGN. Still decide or guess Kate Mulgrew, you know, whereas an accomplished, actor she has written another book a great book how to forget daughter's memoir about her parents, and what she went through is, as their health deteriorated a lot of love for you. By the way, on the text line, Kate many, many people saying they can't wait to read the book and I just wanna add your voice is second to none. You just got the most wonderful void. Yeah, you're welcome. We were talking off the air. You were you made this pact with your mother. And you guys had a great relationship. But did you know everything where there's some secrets that you didn't know did you have a really close relationship well vary? But after the contract was made that I would be her mother whatever incarnation sheet suspected that would take place in certain secrets were not only revealed, but a shared, and I was privy to things that probably should not I know that I should not have been privy to and I've kept them locked in the vault for, for many, many years until I could no longer contain them and the depths of the profundity of them, and this sort of serious them, and the, the dangerousness of them was significant enough for me to say to you. Now, Wendy, I'm looking at you and saying, I won't keep a secret now said. Don't ask me to, you know too much. And then you just kind of get really, really nervous about the bearing of those secrets. She had a lot of inner feelings, my mother. She had a lot of profound frustration. And when my the second sister to die, Tessie you lost two sisters who Tessie took two years. She was diagnosed at twelve of a brain tumor asked her sack SICOM inoperable. That's the thing, the fractured the family and the marriage and certainly my mother. So if you put it all together, she was born without a mother while her mother died in childbirth. Right. And then she was sent off to school, which in the book is a taught her how to forget because that's where she met, Jean Kennedy and her life was saved. But still without a mother, she struggled through life, then she marries Tom Mulgrew. She meets a Chicago and they moved to. And she. Seeds to have eight children sequentially. She buries Maggie who is three months old and then tender eleven years later, she buries Tessie of a brain tumor in between. She has a number of miscarriages and pregnancies, and she has migraines for years, which I, which I bear witness to. So all of this is blunting her brain, which was believe me, an exceptional organ. My mother was a terrific human being a great thinker of racist leader, striving. Always in the quest for God. She's just sit in the pew at church, a church Catholic mass. Right. Just carrying on with children's spread out helter skelter in the pew, and she'd be reading Spinosa. The other, you know you could see the women looking at my mother. Dowling who is she? She doesn't deserve that. Good-looking TJ. But I think blow after blow after blow dealt to her brain sort of resulted in this is an amateur, amateur diagnosis. And what we call now Alzheimer's disease. Yeah. You have children of your own. What is your mother, teach you to do or to not do as a mother?.

So I don't think that the dust in character and that whole religious stuff was was good at all. I don't like it worked. There was nowhere to they end nowhere where to go with it and they didn't go anywhere with it. So hindsight, yeah, probably shouldn't have stuck with gold dust. What did you think of McMahon's middle finger to close the show? We got lots of comments that maybe he gives an odd middle finger. I don't know what's normal middle vague.
