"But like the way that Gordon just impacts the rotation in the LINEUPS and the general aggression that everyone can play with I think is almost even more important than what he did statistically but to your point like he also did loosen up the zone A. Good, deal and he does give everyone around him more confidence when he has the ball than some of the other guys and he someone that Miami also has to pay attention to and there are other players that Boston's been forced to play who can get ignored when they're off the ball against the zone. So his impact is kind of difficult to quantify necessarily. But it's just it's huge for the team. I hear you and I think that a guy who's impact we could quantify Jalen Brown and Let's give this guy some credit. Keep. Pounding this drum actually was thinking during game three when I was watching him it was such a different night and day performance from Jaylen Brown compared to thought earlier in this series where he was just kind of getting lost in the shuffle right and I think in Game Su, he had a couple of threes that pulled them back into it a little bit. But prior to that, he had been really really rough and it made me think. You know we did our x-factor discussion prior to the series and neither one of US brought up Jalen Brown at and maybe that's out of respect to the idea that you know he's an all star level player even though he didn't make this season I'm pretty sure he was on my team, but he didn't get officially selected Maybe you know you don't want to throw an all star guy into that X. factor conversation sometimes but. I, almost wonder if he the hinge player in the series now right or do you say that with with Hayward Boston's formula changes, their depth fills out a little bit. There are just a better overall team they're more stable overall team and it's less relying upon anyone guy because I guess when I was watching Jalen Brown, play like that as Boston has been the better team for almost all of this series you know aside from the major collapse in the second half of game to and not being able to cut out the win late in game one I wonder if that version of Jalen Brown who was like so frustrated with himself prior to game three that he said, he could barely sleep I. Wonder if that guy can decide the series. So. I think it's okay to call him an x factor but more specifically I think the the bigger x factor or mid series adjustment that has been That's so critical right now is just a match up of Jalen and Duncan Robinson and at the end of I should say the second half game to Brad Stevens moves jalen onto Duncan Robinson. And I think Kemba Walker was guarding him a little bit earlier in the series are a mistaken who exactly it was but it was not Jalen and Jalen on in that matchup kind of takes away. A huge chunk of what Miami likes to do on the offensive end and a big chunk of What makes them so devastating? and. So his ability to remove Dunkin as an offensive option and then on the other end just. attack him relentlessly in what is obviously a mismatch as good as I think Duncan Robinson doesn't get the credit as a pretty solid individual and help defender, but he's just not even close to being able to keep up with he's not like shutting down Jalen Brown or not needing severe help off the bounce like is just not who he is. So you attack him as Jalen did relentlessly in the first half and I think.

"Air down to Oh, they have a huge game three tonight against the Heat. Their season rests on it because, of course, no MBA team has ever come back from a 30 Siri's deficit. And it's time to see you. The Celtics are. Of course you read the reports. The athletic had the story on Friday. Postgame blowup falling game to Marcus Smart, Jalen Brown having a heated confrontation inside of the locker room they needed to be separated by their teammates. They then talked it out with Jason Tatum and Kemba Walker and Bride Stevens's room around one in the morning agent which Morales give ESPN had that is well yesterday. So this is a turning point for the Celtics and Are they going to fall apart or just going to be a rallying cry for them? Because there is one thing that's for certain the Celtics are a team right now. That can't close their close, but they can't cause it struggled to close against the Toronto Raptors. And they've struggled mightily to close against the Miami heat in games one and two of the Eastern Conference finals. And that is the reason why they're currently down, and that extends To the sidelines next since the coach Brad Stevens. You talk about Mike Budenholzer and some mistakes he made with the Bucks. Brad Stevens, also struggling to close and adjust to Erik Spoelstra and the Heat. So is this a Celtic seemed, is falling apart. Or is this a turning points? "Like I have video clips that I put up of you know watching Jaylen Brown hugging up on Robinson clearing the way for bam rule same thing with With Tatum, you know and I think that's kind of the three-point shot is so important for Miami those guys knocking down shots even and crowd are knocking down threes as well. Like those guys knocking down shots put so much pressure on the defense because it just opens everything up cuz now it's like okay, we can't leave these dudes on these pick-and-rolls and now it just becomes a two-man game. Look Daniel. Theis has been really good throughout these playoffs. He don't stand a chance rotating over to Bam on the role after helping like that's and that's not a shot on tires. There's not a lot of guys I could do that, you know, and I think that's kind of the issue and this there's a great example Sam in in game two. It was the third quarter where bam got 15 points. I think off of these the pick-and-rolls and things like that including an and one stuff like that in fourth quarter. They're running a high pick-and-roll and it's Grant Williams in Georgia. And he's so cognizant of the BAM role. He actually gives up a layup to Target. Like that's I mean that's kind of the effect of it. So I think you know the it all comes down to the heat on the offensive end of like can they freeze to make those guys have to pressure and open up that rule and if you make enough threes made can live or what they're going to give up on the defensive end. Where do we think this series goes from here. I picked Boston in six hard-fought games. I still think I would take Boston to win the series. Now that Hayward is back. I do think I would say 7, but where are you at in terms of where this goes? I think this goes seven and I think it's a toss-up cuz I just think game sevens anything can happen. You know, we saw it with Clippers Nuggets, you know, it can get going. I think if everybody's if healthy things like that like I I just don't I think the heat are going to have three bad games in a row, you know, I thank you know, they'll I think they might lose the next game but you know, it's I could see them coming back, you know drag it shot really poorly to 4:10 Crowder was to 4:10. He's been pretty hot in the playoffs. So it's it scares me to save to trust him to to get going, but I don't think he's going to be as bad. I don't think he'll Linux. Going to play as bad as he did like that was just that was just got off one. And I know you don't want to kill him cuz he's you know, nice guy and that's his Canadian features. But you know, he just kind of he really struggled in this wage. I think it's going to be a a thing and I think we're going to see a more aggressive Jimmy Butler like Jimmy's been able to kind of hang back for the first three quarters and then turn it on for the 4th and I would think that kind of hurt them in game three, but I think we'll see a a more aggressive Jimmy earlier on in the game to kind of alleviate the pressure off the other guys and put more pressure on Boston and I think that something there but for me, I just think overall in the series like even when Miami was up to I said, this is still probably a seven-game series If I was Miami, I think.

Thrilling Raptors and Celtics series heading to a game 7

"I want to switch gears. Now to the Toronto Raptors game versus the Boston Celtics obviously, it was gained six I really thought the Celtics were closed. One out. There are a lot of questionable calls this game specifically at the end of regulation there was a no call on a Kemba Walker left and I was clearly a foul, the Raptors one, one, twenty, five, the one, twenty, two in. A double overtime game to push this series to seven games. The best player was Kyle lowry man played fifty three minutes got thirty point three, hundred, thirty, three points, eight rebounds six assists absolutely incredible employed twenty-one Norman Powell had twenty three. He had a big and one after a steal one of the big places the game on the Boston Celtics side Marcus Smart. Twenty three he's been electric lately. Jaylen. Brown continues to improve after that bad game two games ago. He's at back to back bounce back game thirty, one points, sixteen rebounds and two assists Tatum at twenty, nine and fourteen and nine almost twenty nine point triple double ties with eighteen and seven Kemba. Walker was really the only no show for the Boston Celtics, tonight. At Five, points seven assists to eleven from the field and fifty one minutes. Only five points that's abysmal for Kemba. Walker. Especially going into team that I don't really necessarily think somebody that can guard him a guy like, Caldera. Maybe for advance leak got the assignment a couple of times and a couple possessions I understand that but I don't know. Big Win for the Toronto Raptors I really do believe this game simplicitas if I told you from the beginning of the series of toss up obviously the Celtics went up to all Toronto responded to go to tie it to to Boston got a big game five victory I thought that would really seal the series I thought the Celtics would win tonight the close up at the rafters just won't quit man they won't die one of the scrappy EST teams in the NBA. One. Of the best defensive teams than the to hold a team to what only one hundred and what twenty two points in double overtime keep in mind in double overtime. That's impressive. That's playing. Basketball essentially more that's playing what? No about five quarts of basketball the hold somebody to one hundred, twenty, two points is impressive stuff. Can they get it done and gained seven? I'm not sure I'm still going to have to take the Celtics I. Think the Celtics probably should have won this game I thought for a majority of the game. They were the better team and again that no call and Kemba Walker at the end of regulation was a brutal. No call I thought two free throws, and then obviously maybe Toronto a game winner I game tire and not sure. Again Kemba Walker should have gone two free throws at the end of the game. My opinion was a close one but all is fair in love and war the referees for pretty much every game are always going to be considered bad right. Every single playoff game fans are going to have a disagreement with it but specifically, that can no call that was poor that was a bad call.

"And I think the the last thing that makes the point of having Hayward around so special to is it takes less off Jalen and it takes more off Jaylen Brown's plate and he gets to just focused on doing Jaylen Brown things. You know, it's not a shock to me that with with Hayward on the, you know playing at home the that brown had his best game in this series 26.11 and 17 shooting seven rebounds, you know, five assists like that's a big Jaylen Brown game right there. Yeah. It really was home. Like you said Gordon kind of unlocks a lot of the different line-ups that they can put out there because of that they they had a tendency early in the series get a little bit stagnant right? Like it was a lot of different guys looking for their own shot. I thought the markets also did a better job in that game of looking for a past and then month. King for a shot Marcus was also the beneficiary of getting a chance to play on Duncan Robinson and Tyler hero a reasonable amount and took advantage of that driving to the basket and getting the facts on a bunch. So I kind of think I agree with you in a way that like Gordon hayward's just sheer presence if forces Miami's defensive matchups to have really nice kind of adjust in a way that makes things very difficult for them and they almost have to something like they amount of Bio Jimmy Butler Jae Crowder dragich. And honestly, I think kind of a fourth Defender out there is much as they can afford to put Duncan and Hero on the bench like it's just going to be really hard for all of drug. It's junk in in hero to be on the court against the Celtics lineups when they're able to play as intelligently as they are. Yeah, and it's hard, you know and that's part of the reason why they go into their Zone and that's why the you know, the Jimmy Butler's and guys like that are up top to try to wreak havoc. So if she takes the pressure off those guys, but if I sell things can be manipulated and find the cracks they'll be able to even in the zone still be able to go at the Robinsons the dragon and and the heroes although I think like I'd be careful continuing to go ahead rangitsch. He's a tough dude, like he'll figure it out. I'm not too worried about him. He ain't going to be a defensive stopper, but I don't think he'll be in a bad defensively throughout the rest of series as as he was I think in this game just think the other thing too and this is the ultimate thing for me Sam. I just trusts vo to make the right move, right? And this isn't a shot at Stephens. I just think SPO is one of the the most underrated coaches in the NBA. I think he's a top-five if not a top-three coach right now in the birth. I think we over look him a lot because he won those championships with LeBron, but he really kind of put a Modest good stuff in that action there. I think even in those LeBron heat teams, like look, he just said look, we're going to put Bosch on the outside and we're going to play LeBron on the interior bit more and took what netted them..

"This was Boston's game played with so much purpose so much energy in one guy who brought that start to finish was Jalen Brown, which included that monstrous highlight reel. How long were you with his leadership this game? Let's start with that one because that shut the game down three things that capped a big run. It ended OG anunoby night and he's been someone who's in the series aliens career for the rest of this. Yeah. We'll see the lasting effects of that play, but it was it was an epitome of the game tight box again on one end Brown finishes in Comanche fashion and Smart Set it out. Those are three guys that struggled immensely in game for balance back here and brown, let it all with the early 3-pointer scoring throughout this game has worked on Seattle, as he's done off. Out the series and this all happened in the first half. They did everything they needed to buy halftime where you didn't even have to watch the third and fourth of you. If you're just catching this to re-watch the game and get some notes don't even watch the second half is it was a joke after that point and this was a shameful effort by Toronto, by the way. Yeah, that dunk certainly got things going for the selfish but they had things going before that and Jaylen Brown. I feel like he was taking this time a bit and that first half or at least he was being aggressive. I shouldn't say taking his time certainly being aggressive Buck saw he didn't get discouraged when his shots weren't falling and that was the case of the very beginning. You gotta give something to credit again for what they're doing defensively and transition. I think that really got things going open the floor bit huge second course, I love Brad Stevens decision to go with the his best three players to start that second-quarter Jaylen Brown's in there as well. Kemba Walker Tatum, they never took their foot off the gas pedal and the Toronto Raptors their what they've been doing all series. They outscored the Celtics and the third quarter, but fortunately for because of what happened in the second quarter and because they were able to set the tone the way they did it really matter. Yeah credit to Jaylen Brown created the Celtics. That was I very interested to see how the Celtics team was going to come out in this game because of how poorly they played in game five..

"Yeah was there eight days? DOOKIE was here man. Eight amazing though where you're like I got Mike Piazza. was. Cheered Self Rainer, Greg's on. Red. Read Mike. Redmond. There is a lot. You see it's not as easy as you guys. Can. Billy, Redman. Mike Redman and Greg Zone. You're not Charles Johnson type of catcher neither one of them. You know you have your opinion I have mine. Debatable. Right? Have you looked at any of the numbers oh? No I don't need to look at numbers positive test. But Duke, a yeah dookie John Baker who could forget about him. John. Rebelo was a key part of that Miguel Cabrera trade we can talk about the Eastern Conference finals or we can talk about Inter Miami. All of a sudden being tied for the final playoff spot I want to hear more from Chris Cody on pooping his pants because of the Eastern Conference finals. Now, honestly, if we've talked about this stuff before he'd fans expected that to be a long series and then they win. The first two games, and then they don't expect to lose anymore and then you lose a game. It's the funny thing about fans is you forget about the past and even though you think it's going to be a long series by any discernible measure you expect to win all the Games every time you're going into one, and then you get scared when the Celtics do and this was very predictable right in that. Sport the thing that stunned me was the clippers losing game seven because in that sport if the better team during the regular season is down to old, that's exactly the game. The better team gives you more aggressive at the rim doing things that you haven't seen before because there's just a crazy desperate urgency. We can't go down three Oh and have our season ended tonight and so Jaylen Brown was exactly what? Marcus smart. I imagine was coercing him to be more aggressive goal. Do them go do things near the rim where things are harder and so like to me that that was the most productive predictable result of the entire series right there that that Miami wouldn't win that game because if you expect a long series and we all expect a long series, you might want to get ready for Miami losing the next one to. That's I mean, that's Jalen. Brown specifically is what scares me because if that's repeatable like I don't know man I just I put my pants that's it and I feel like we're GONNA lose the rest of. It's how bad this is Chris I think they're undefeated when he scores twenty five points. So if they get an all star caliber, Jalen Brown, you're not GonNa win that game it would appear however Miami still without playing well in that game still had a chance you saw like there was a crazy sequence at the end of the second quarter where Boston is just beating you with hustle and I can't I gotta believe they're expulsion not going to get tricked. into having Bam out of Bio, follow Thais to the three point line taking them out of the pain to me. That was a good adjustment by Brad Stevens in an easy one I don't know how easy was to fix it on the fly but that's sort of what won the game for Boston because they had difficulty in the paint against him out of bio, and they really neutralize that by just simply moving a guy that can't shoot to the outside. There's no reason for Bam to rope. Rome out there. But to me these series ended up being interesting because you get seven games between two good coaches onto smart teams and they continue to make all sorts of adjustments. Boston might have been bothered in some ways by the zone in game two or they just missed a bunch of jumpers that they normally make because the raptors zones. Didn't seem to bother them very much. They were good against the zone in game three. It seemed like baby the strategy change from the standpoint it seemed like, Bam. They were letting Bam kind of do whatever he wanted to do and guarding the three point line because the heat were twelve, forty four like that was probably the worst shooting game in the playoffs three I think they're points. Per Possession was like zero point seven seven against the raptors zone. So they struggle against the zone, and now they're finding ways to break it by having Pam Manmark Tyson Miami's defense. It's it's really difficult to know when they're going Joan because they have they play zone where they have to big is at the top of it sometimes, and it's just it's just weird to see so. It's it's really hard, but you can't have. Bam. Following a guy that's an absolute non factor from the outside, and that's going to be one of the adjustments you see and now I flipped lot back and forth to I thought the NBA was helping Boston having all these days off but it's very clearly going to help Miami I. Think especially with drug, it's not one hundred percent looking healthy. He doesn't look healthy to you now. Not, and I thought he got neutralize in the last game because they're going to be things that teams due to the thing that that Chris is worried about I. Think it's a legitimate thing to worry about, which is the Celtics when Jalen Brown is that you don't really have that you don't have Jalen Brown you might get some big games from guys but drag it isn't that I'm talking about the specifics of being able to go judge an. Thirty points Dragen Chaz been that he's been that. He could get it to you from range. But I'm talking about a guy with efficient shooting at the rim. You're right the drug has been. He's been at that end the roast too that he he's been at the he's been at the bubble where I say he doesn't look healthy. He's got a bulky brace on his leg that sort of popped up. In this series that I, hadn't seen before and it in watching that game and watching shots it didn't look like he had his legs underneath while you're asking a lot from a guy that's thirty four playing high intensity playoff basketball every other night that is a big ask on that older body of its who's been playing out of his mind. So I like the additional rest for him. Especially going with that bulky looking brace on his leg of the game was a bit out of hand but it wasn't even in the game fourth quarter. Yeah. He was not in the game. Miami made a run it guys I really WanNa stop with dunk. God bless a kid he's got stop fouling people. So early in this game puts my aiming such a difficult position because even if he's not hitting his shots, he's tiring guys out like Jalen Brown and you saw Jalen Brown taking advantage of the foul trouble that Duncan Robinson had not having to chase them all around the court and all of a sudden. He can devote most of that energy to the offensive end and you're getting what looks like an all star player a year in year out all certain Jalen Brown so Dunkin Robinson and this is not a referee thing. This is on Dunkin. Robinson he's got us on making these dumb ass fouls. Games because it's really hurting Miami. Watching Dunkin Robinson in these playoffs the way he to be at moments overwhelmed by just a moment makes even what tyler heroes doing more impressive because you see Duncan Robinson, you're like the guy who's in it's like I. Know he played in the playoffs before I think last year but you know he's just seems to be overwhelmed by at times and you don't think tyler heroic early in one series you got that for like two minutes but tyler, it's just been so impressed isn't that justice face It doesn't help the VIBE. It's like just like is often in face though Dan is right it doesn't. It doesn't give off confidence don't get Robinson's face. See is looked sad and early in games he's just going to spell like look I had my arms up it doesn't really convey all that much calm and then Dunkin tries to overcompensate and he starts like saying f words in his mouth just so he like, let's the TV audience know like I'm tough I say what the? He's trying to convince his face. And? He's trying to do agree that's a bad cold I yelled to. Hey. Man That was bad call. You just made on me I do that I'm tough Jaylen Brown had the quote that made me think of Stugatz with I love that I love that. What do you think he means by that Jalen Brown quote this is right up Stugtoz Allie do you know the quote going to mention this is such a it is it's just.

Max Has NO FEAR FOR THE DEER + Nick Nurse ‘Coaching Clinic’

"That's not a bad shot wasn't a bad shopping to see not it was a bad shot. But how did they beat Philly? Was that a good shot? Just tell me that was was that a Nick nerve-wracking. This is the best coach you can do we need to Coalinga. Is that the best player you go? Okay. So this is what is what I wanted to hear from you mind me getting that. I mean running off the corner going all the way following the way from the three-point line that that was the way you designed. This is where I'm getting that thing. Okay. So then let's talk about that. Then ignorant didn't have a play lined up in that situation or at least we maybe didn't have the the player. Maybe maybe that's it. In my opinion. He said, you know what they figure things out up to this point. I'm going to let them just keep going cuz I have nothing and that's a problem that's off. Can't be that kind of Coach into play. I believe in this situation that Brad Stevens to me and although Nick nurse is the coach of the year. I like Brad Stevens home is a knows better now like next Nur Nick nurses X's and O's I think he is. I think he gets guys in places. They need to be and it has really worked out well for so so I don't I don't necessarily think that yeah, you want some people that call timeout. Okay, you can call timeout but now you give the other team opportunity to self esteem. So if I promise up until you come down to your file before guy gets into the act of shooting Mean there are a bunch of things. You can talk about that. You can't talk about on the flyer. So that's a good point because you if you're Brad Stevens, I'm telling my guys to foul. They needed three follow. Yeah, but they they going to do that. They did not going to do that because they didn't have that opportunity to think about it. They just play what time on the situation you have more time to think about. Absolutely so that maybe it's why Nick nurse doesn't call a time-out init work off. All you were trying to do is get a decent. Look at it three point shot got a decent Loop. Don't miss don't miss out on this one. It's your chance. You know, Cedric Maxwell says go down absolutely had to betonline.ag today and take advantage of all the great signup bonuses betonline.ag your online sportsbooks experts and it now I don't know man. just feel like when it comes down like you say like when it comes out and accessing those late-game situations, I'm taking Brad Stevens over over Nick nurse all day them, but when Nick nurse but some guy told me later on or off. Yeah, some guy told me the other day on the radio from Toronto said Nick nurses by the arrestee was a give him a clinic in coaching. Okay. Oh, I thought that goes but this is my thing with him. This beef with Nick you you played out that situation, right? It didn't pan out obviously depend on welfare. But you know, you played that card whatever it is what it is right off of 20 minutes later. So it was a microphone in your face and you're gonna complain about oh Jason Tatum got their free throw line too many times all the favors. I mean, excuse me, all the referees gave him that one come on and while you're trying to put up there and you're trying to put something in somebody's you're trying to put some because if it's not working you're down to well, you're trying to put your grabbing it whatever you can grab that actually the course of the year. You're trying that your job. Well, you're grabbing it what you can grab it. See I can really hasn't been that guy you know that said, oh my God, there's no way to stop. I'll come David Jaylen Brown has done a nice job. I'm just I sewing being one off. Woman with G acha you gotta yeah, and they haven't really had to double-team. That's true. So, you know what Jaylen brown hair but his defense has been underrated. How about the time that Jaylen Brown? I mean you're talking about quickness thought he ripped off calorie calories was dribbling and it was like stripping. Well, yeah look like look like brown was in The Matrix the way he went across and grabbed the basketball game. Carolina was sent he was going back the other way know when the ball on the floor you you ain't got it no more. I looked at him. Where did it go with so long? I mean, it's been it's been eye-opening to see some of the some of the situations and even now down that bubble people talk about or you know, what's going on with Milwaukee Milwaukee is trademark what they do. They give up three's what does what does Miami like to do? Oh you take the reason you're walking Milwaukee is given that more FAQ. To anybody else. So Miami's Forte there strip is shoot the three. Yeah. So if you ever team does knocking down threes in a regular area off and you you're struggling right now with, you know, Yiannis and Middleton and you know, they play great against the Celtics but they've had a you know, Jonas has been if they use the series honest is going to be exposed again time to time MVP. I agree with that. Well, the biggest reason why I agree with that is because you you got a 27-point performance out of Chris Middleton office and you couldn't make that a win like that's a big. Well somebody else involved in this. Well, that's what I'm saying. You know his Lopez involved. Where is Lopez build out. 1 game? Okay lower game loading again if off on your scores Seventeen eighteen, you're in trouble. Well, we're we're and that's the thing about picking up your teammates like somebody who's like Kimba. Okay. Kimball didn't was barely scored and Marcus fairly score. Yep. You had somebody else that kind of shoulder the load until those guys got it together and you look at blood. So what's blessed done during the series always been a little banged up. So I don't I don't trust them this man. This is obviously I've never been like like that's always in my thing Milwaukee. Yiannis is going to be honest, but I don't trust your boys like your squad is shaky Milton will give you those 30.93 here and there but need to make sure those are wins you can give those up Jerry has travels big man. I really like Miami and new series. I just like their Focus right now, too. Yeah. I totally agree. I think again to see to me, it's Jimmy Butler Factor. Yeah, because they those dudes right now bam alabado guys, like they're they're taking on that same Persona is Jimmy Butler like, you know jumping off. Yeah. I mean Jimmy brother man. I mean he said about when you asked about guests and family come into the bubble was you said he I'm not bringing anybody man. This is a business trip. Wow. J.B. Bickerstaff on the NBA Strike and Racial Justice

"Us today is the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Also, the greatest interim head coach and the history of basketball. He is now three for three. With the Houston Rockets, the Memphis Grizzlies at now the Cleveland Cavaliers interim turned head coach J., B. Bickerstaff. Thanks for coming on with us. Man I appreciate it I guess that's an honor to say. Then the greatest coach of all time but I appreciate you having me man. Looking forward to the conversation so. What were you thinking last night as the Milwaukee, bucks don't take the floor and it becomes a reality that. There's not going to be a playoff game and then we see the way it plays out through the evening. We saw your tweets couple of them went viral by the way Jay bickerstaff on twitter. Now love that but you really some poignant words to say and so I just take me through your day and experiencing that somebody in the NBA. You know they did a good job of keeping their thoughts to themselves and it was really a surprise. You know normally something like that is GonNa get out you know but they did a great job of keeping it to themselves organizing it in making it a powerful statement You know I can't speak enough about the power of their voices and what it means to communities and people all over the world and all of our country for sure So you know it's a powerful statement and that's what people don't what some people don't want to give credit where credit is due Did, not know the outcome of what was going to happen. You. Know they didn't know what their sacrifice could possibly lead to as far as repercussions from the League or from TV ESPN fans whatever it may been, but they still had the courage to do it. And that says a lot. It says how important it is to and how important it should be to all of us. What do you think? How do you think you would have handled it because to hear it coaches were still getting ready for that game players really kind of did this on their own in the locker room and it's within an hour of game. and. So I'm sure you can attempt to relate to the coaches and kind of what was going on. If you put yourself in that position, how do you think would have played out because I can only match the stress of Getting Ready for a playoff game is is something already and then you walk in and your player said, we're not playing tonight. And I think the first thing is you show support this isn't something has popped out of the Blue I'm sure that there have been a ton of conversations with bud in his guys about the circumstances he's got some very powerful guys and you saw what George Hill Janas. Had to say how it's impacted them. In, affected down extremely difficult way. So I'm sure they've had some conversations. But in that moment you show support you know you ask questions. You help guide or whatever the plan may be but you're there as a resource, a tool because again, you're not getting in the way of. Two, powerful a moment. It means too much a this time in our society what's going on? So you're there as a resource a shoulder to lean on if they need it. It seems to me that minor standing from talking to players and coaches and exects. Slow last day is that it is clear that the bubbles as a success in terms of quality of play in terms of health and safety. But a lot of people fail that it's been a failure on the league's part in terms of capitalizing the fact that everybody's there twenty two teams started there now thirteen remaining and it's been a failure to creatively find ways to take advantage of this platform. I mean. To me yesterday that Jaylen Brown tweets out that he wants to leave to go protests and the feeling is that he should be able to make more of an impact being from the bubble and utilizing that platform and player seemed to be a frustrated with the fact that they can't creatively use that platform right now and it seems to me like everything that happened yesterday is just the players taking that into their own hands to accelerate this. And I think that's what the players do. Right I think when all these things happen and you know the players lead nothing best. What's the most fantastic part of this is you know we are looking for voices in our society to push us over No human being has more influence or larger platforms than are NBA players. So we expect them and we're depending on them to lead us. They're leading US where our so called leaders have failed us. They're trying to pull us all together and it's for the right reasons. You know what? I mean this isn't a selfish caused. This isn't a divisive 'cause of this is a cause for equality and humanity of everybody should be able to get on board with and we need their voices in their platform. And we'll follow suit.

NBA Players, Owners Meet To Discuss Plan Of Action

"Get back on track WHOA Jeez here. Thankfully to tell us what might happen here. Obviously, it's a fluid situation Adrian. I. Guess. The first thing we want to ask you is, what are we expecting today like what is going to happen today meeting Liz I have no idea what's going to happen today guys yesterday was. A remarkable day and one that I don't think any of us who cover the NBA. WHO Who've covered sports and and in my generation Bo forget but to set the table for today. The players having eleven am meeting here in the bubble. And the owners have a board of governors call at the same time. I'm pulled eleven am obviously that'll be done virtually and so simultaneously, those two groups we'll be meeting and the players. I think after a night, it was an emotional day. It was an emotional meeting they had. With most of the players in the bubble coaches were there last night there came a point where? The players asked the coaches to leave so they could hash it out amongst themselves. The teams I was told broke up into groups. and then they're going to continue that conversation this morning but I mean what's at stake is simply This season and are the players as a group going to decide to move forward. Continue the playoffs by all indications that the three games that are scheduled today. Not. Going to be played, the League hadn't officially. announced it but every indication we got in the last night regardless of what they decide moving forward that those three games later in the day. Wouldn't be played, but the players have more to work through and talk through. And consider a lot of different. Consider a lot of different scenarios. And and ultimately consequences of what it would mean to shut this bubble down. You're there in the bubble woes and you could get and I just WanNa know like what is what's the feeling is like does feel like NAM empty and just spooky and? What's that feeling like? I. Think the last several days keyshawn. and. You could feel a building you could watch on I think you guys could watch. On television and and read what people are saying and see. The interviews with George Hill and Fred Van Vliet. and. The emotion that players were carrying. Since the shooting of Jacob Blake earlier. In the week. And how that resonated not just all over the country. But here. and. On top of the emotion and Guys have been here a long time and it wears on you and guys miss families guys feel. At times like their captive in this place it I get it. It's a resort like I. Don't mean to. It is a resort and I get it and. All of us are lucky to be able to work. In, this country right now and a lot of people can't but there is a cumulative effect about being away this long. And you add on top of that. the horrific nature of that shooting. Another in a series of them in years of decades. Of them a century of them and so. data impacted this place at impacted those inside. And It was a domino effect yesterday of once. The bucks made the decision to knock him out of the locker room and not play. And then how it impacted the other teams and lead to that meeting last night that was pretty rot times. The to La teams the LA clippers. The Lakers have two of the hour say most powerful voices in professional sports in Genie Boston. Steve, bomber what type of influence can they have on the rest of the NBA owners to get something done in favor of the players? It's a good question I think the question is. And I think what the players Were spending last night doing. And and previously, it's been an ongoing conversation here. But is there something and and I and I know in the meeting last I a lot of players. Disgusted I know CJ mccollum was who's an executive on the players committee or on the on the Executive Committee of the Players Association. mccomb the Blazers Jaylen Brown the Celtics war leaders. in the Union and top players in league talked about having a plan of action and the bucks in the locker. Room. In those hours after that they after they decided not to play. Working with their own ownership in Milwaukee to get on the phone the Attorney General of the Lieutenant Governor in Wisconsin to talk about ways to move forward. To try to impact. that. Particular case. In in their state in Kenosha. And so you saw players already beginning to do that yesterday now. How does that continue today? What what players are asking themselves I know what organizations are asking players when they got back to the rooms. Last my back to the hotels. What is the endgame if we don't play? One is that what is it that we wanNA accomplish outside of the bubble outside of this environment outside of the platform that you have right now to play. play NBA Games and speak to the world through. Through this. What does that look like and so I think that's all going to be part of the conversation today with the players and with the owners if they kinda reconnect after those two meetings.

"Like this. We call them schedule loss like. I guess the media calls what when you rest the player. Time management load man those manage, so let's say you plan. In College will go college. Let's say you play. USC. Stanford. Right. You play on Monday Tuesday. Wednesday off your flying into. Go play Arizona. And then that that that last game is. Wash some some some bad team. Low Management on the team. I mean the low management now if it was flipped other way around. Right Then you played back to back, you know, but that low management gain they might count the one against Stanford as a loss. Or Arizona as a loss and give you wins. Or do or if that last game was Zona, the automatic right that as a loss because you played four games in five nights depending on what this is, that is a schedule loss. Yeah. I would say even in college. You can go for you. Have that ranked opponent? That's a big time game on say it's on national TV, and then we play mid Major. Maybe that's not a book for you that could be. Using that example better situation for exposure, no, which will play. Both really, but the mid majors like all right. This isn't as high profile, but we. Do. Macao's you cars used to games and we. Really. Problem only happens when you get to that next level trying to figure out how to turn it on figuring out how to turn it on a guy who's not in your your realm, so the great guy who wing skill the scorned you attend the try to turn it off like you just. You gotTa doll them like. I always look at it as if you don't dog them. Somehow. He's going to get confidence for something I try not to give nobody no confidence I like if I was playing against you and I know you like to play defense. I'm GONNA try to punch before you punch me? So I'm GonNa like soon as you get up full court, I'm just calling out and just try to isolate you just one full flat. We're GONNA. Do One flat into. He get off of me right in, and then try to just I just try to go by you second time I'm trying to get you a file so I'm GONNA just play this popcorn game which you and then mentally just. Just just and then now you questioning yourself, and then once she started questioning assessed. Play resumes ribs and just try to I. Don't want like if you get a rip your confidence to think about if you do you play defense and me and you score you for shopping. In other. Same with defensive players and offensive players. There's there's. There's a chess game. Here's a chess game like I used to do this. You slap the floor and me. I'm gone. I'm gone soon as soon as i. get down and then you get ready soon as I see someone, get rid of. That a year. I'm trying to go right passion so you won't you anal slapping? Just like it's just like you know that you're trying to set the defense up one. Those gone like I just used all of that like you know you just. Watching the game, just watching opponents watching coaches watching how a coach coach! I mean I can tell you that I've watched you, so if I'm playing against you, I'm pushing you right. You.

Could Brandin Cooks be traded for fourth time in six-year career?

"Brandon cooks had a tweet that just said Freeman yes that was on Friday and when you read that there's two things that come to mind one is okay he's talking about the corona virus in Africa wants to just go back to living their normal life and not trapped inside their house order the sportsman and I says free may he's upset with the Los Angeles rams and he wants a trade out of LA you look at the contract the branding cooks he's under contract through the twenty twenty three season has a cap hit of sixteen sixteen seventeen and seventeen million dollars across the board the dead cap this year for Brandin cooks is twenty nine point eight million and then following that in the next three years thirteen eighteen and three million of the number is an approximation he's still twenty six years old and at one time was viewed as a very promising up and coming wide receiver and I still think you can have a good career you know you look at what he was able to do from early on in his saints career shoot the twenty eighteen season with the rams you go through the stats twenty fourteen fifty three receptions five hundred and fifty yards three touchdowns twenty fifteen eighty four receptions over eleven hundred yards nine touchdowns that had that monster monster twenty sixteen where he catches almost eighty football's goes for one thousand one hundred seventy three yards and then a touch it's really had to back to back killer seasons with eighty four you know the two months years in twenty fifteen twenty sixteen and twenty seventeen he gets dealt the patriots and he goes sixty five receptions just over a thousand yards seven touchdowns how to touch down early on against the Texans was a big moment he had I'm in the playoffs he got knocked out in the Superbowl Malcolm Jenkins sent the matter game and the patriots after one year that one can get a contract extension so they traded to the rams and they ended up getting a first round pick back again for something to get a first round pick back for him so he goes to the rams twenty eighteen eighty receptions twelve hundred yards five touchdowns good year and last year only forty two receptions five hundred eighty three yards and two touchdowns so this is that was an off year for Brandin cooks now he only played in fourteen games but you know still it was an off year so you start to wonder is Brandon cooks going to get traded because of just the situation the ram Charan it is got rid of Todd Gurley defensively they say they're already locked up Barron Donald you're gonna have to sign Jaylen Ramsey to a long term extension you would think you also have money tied up in a lot of money tied up clearly to Jared Goff I don't think it's a great quarterback but he's getting paid as if he's a great quarterback and you saw that offense who this past year yes the the rams were a different team but you look at their wide receiving options do you really need Brandin cooks that office when you have Cooper Kupp having a very good season last year catching almost a hundred footballs and going over eleven hundred yards yeah Robert woods last year not the thousand you know thousand yard season caught ninety footballs so can you survive without Brandin cooks and get something back to help your football team what what's first do this what you will get the contracts Robert woods and Cooper Kupp Robert woods is a free agent at the end of the twenty twenty one season so for the next two years you're a robber was that a good number base salary this upcoming year it's five million in twenty twenty one at seven point five million capita they point one and a cap of nine point one so that's a good number and then when you get to Cooper Kupp can you take a look at his contract situation with the with the rams that's a contract situation where Cooper Kupp let's see where his deal is that he's a free agent at the end of the season so he is on a two million dollars and change contract so if you are the branches anything you have Robert woods who's twenty seven right now maybe he gets it probably does get another contract with that team and then you have Cooper Kupp who's twenty six read the codes are still very young yeah he's twenty six as well what do you do if you're gonna pay if you intend to pay Cup and also woods are you gonna put a lot of big money with three wide receivers so I think there's a good chance the Brandin cooks does get traded or the ram say you know what we believe are more like the football team two years ago not the team last year so we're gonna keep what we have and we're going to run it back brandy cooks for someone who's so talented and someone that has done a very nice job in his career so far what we've seen him go from playing with drew Brees and Sean Payton then go flying with Brady and Bella Jack and now playing with golf and the bay well those are not the key pad stops you get to all BAME coaches and to all fame quarterbacks golf one of seeing what he's going to be able to do in Sean McVay's is greatly respected around the league so the branding cooks tweet Hey C. Cooper cops jump on it and and clarify he's talking about the quarantine hi it's it's just amazing and it never surprised anymore on social media where if that were his intentions you never know but if those are his intentions how people now I think he could be traded but when you think about it with what they may need to do in the future or Cooper Kupp and Robert woods at the Brandon cooks experiment in the in the rams you know you could say could be short lived with your canoeing on that was really short lived he could be on the move once

"By Jaylen Brown around okay. Yeah he fired me. You know it looks I get back to your question I would give this because it is the goat I would say this is a ten again. It's embarrassing when you're a Lebron James so you are the king. They gotta do what you get uncrowned in Boston. You get your crown knocked right off the top of your head. While I was one of those where is he is he gonNa do he did it. He's GonNa do that. Yup and blood is thinking about contesting and then at the last second Lebron on says whoops. I got caught in the wrong place and I got to try to get out of here. Because he couldn't get out fast. What happens is that normally we got coming like that? He's GonNa jump off one foot and go to the real he jumped. He jumped out both feet. That's Dominique Wilkins. He's a guy that would be post. Arise you sean. Kill could poster up. But you don't see a lot most. NBA left left when they go. They coming up book they can jump. How when the Boulder Jaylen Brown has freaky guiltless spring? I like who. He's he's still going up this in whale on his bucket list he had been happy with you make it seem like NBA players. Don't get don't don't they do okay. But Lebron tried to dismiss Smith as it happens to everybody crossed over you get Blah a little. What happened you remember with tried that only you you'll remember? Tr Go right. So why is it always four and big white guys that you say hit okay. So it's B.. Leads it's Nurkic. It's splitter none of these guys can jump like one off the ground up hollow lead if there's a skill just Paul that'd be leads yes that far and home is I got more that that would come from. I think everybody in the League got even with Lebron James One. Listen it's a fair fight with Jaylen Brown. Those aren't affair fatherm Stanzi stain and still. They can't jump one inch off the field abroad with the you make. It seem like he came from distance. It tried to block. Ah that wasn't that wasn't that wasn't Dr J. Dunkin. Oh Michael Kupa. When he's swept flow with it now with a situation like that you know I hate to say it but it looked like year seventeen Lebron? He was in the wrong place at the time he got call. Slipping away from it is that Jaylen Brown embraced it a little too much afterward. Because he's like I can't lie. This was on my bucket list right like our book list. It's like it. The biggest thing that ever happened in his career. He's really good. He's got all star capability right. And so the point is that Jaylen Brown got him and Lebron tried to dismiss it but we all know that in the end he got got right and then. I wasn't watching this because I was watching the Laker feed here locally but on TNT then. I saw on the Internet that Chris Webber compared that dunk to the remember the prince. Deng run the the the Chapelle. Dave Chapelle ski area so we got that going because he hung with one arm on the rim and just gloated and then the beauty of it was. He's Taunting Lebron Brian James. It gets a technical foul. That's the ultimate disgrace for the king. Skip he got taunted. Don't own and taunted is six is the NBA say the Taller Dunkin on Taller men. It happens football sometimes. Give you know. Sometimes you get the move like Lamar Jackson. Sometimes there's a lot of highlights will Lamar Jackson put move somebody. But there's a lot of shots with somebody call Lamar Jackson slipping him before he got out of bounds. That's going to happen. You Know Okay you plan the NBA. You'll get dumped on James Horan. Go sit down on your car. Regan crawl up Steph. Curry will step back like India. It happens so I'm expecting acting that the box score tomorrow night from the Knicks Lakers game. We'll see we'll see Lebron at the bottom and let's say DNP body body MAG right the yard. You're you're gonNA dunk on okay. That'd be more of a firefight. Don't bring me these big foreign stiffs that you don't remind get into Robertson. Do what we had it really fair. All that's a fair fight. Jalen Brown versus Lebron Fair. Fight Lebron to do we okay. Somebody else lipid. So Lebron said after the game that the James Gang took two wells. Yes they call who Ronnie but I think they took three because they took one there from Jaylen. Brown's disgrace big little. You you biggest seemed like Daniel ties. Don't donate you just said. Demand is very athletic. Ed Yeah he he got all star potential. Okay you tell me. Lebron James is greatest athlete. Whoever why do I write you do remember what Michael Like in Washington right? He was getting done. It was not dunk it on any. I don't remember him getting dumped. Oh you wash hold on. Do you remember John. starks caught him at the garden. Him and Horace Grant you remember. That would go. Hey everybody remember that they were talking about Dow before social media a male may got into delivered. All I can remember his six championships a bit ships in six tries six. MVP's in the finals and that means game over skip. That never happened. He did Michael. Jordan did all of that. But he got poked on a couple of times. It's okay it's going to happen. Guess what Jerry. Rice got his got got his week. Split a bunch of times on that on slant route in happens so Michael Irvin Chris Carlin. All of it's going to happen disgrace getting dunked. Oh yes it is all man man medical yes. Do you remember the Rodney Harrison. Put Him but right here on Jerry. I it happened. Skip hip dogs happen. You can see like muzzy bowls. Don't know Lebron felt like mugs. Six point nine. He did elevates our surprised. Like I said I like when he turned the corner Danny Green on like he ain't GonNa do Lebron coming only but oh you do own do still going up seemed already drawn here okay. Look he was going to Piplo. He dropped eight. Okay it happens. DNP body immunity for the day. It was luck with Layla. Braga August Lisa Mascot Z.. Patrick Mahomes has not only led his team team to the Super Bowl but he has also passed. Tom Brady for the most merchandise sales this year since March Brady had occupied the top spot. The previous two you've seasons but now sits in second behind mahomes so Shannon and you're gonna like this one What does it tell you? He's another government starts. Get in this league. People wanted to see if he's legit yet you won the NBA people. What can you do? Can you follow it up now. I'm sure now that the super bowl because everybody's GonNa Walk Home Super Bowl with below going and that's why Tom Brady because Tom Brady goes to the super bowl almost every year. So I gotta get I gotTa get this year with Bolger's with the logo on it but this year is going to be Mar homeboy less. Skip in the. He's doing commercials. Now you see state farm commercial with with Aaron Rodgers. So he's putting himself more out there. So yes I. I'm not surprised this happened. The best players normally their quarterbacks they have the number one selling Jersey and and He's the best player in the League. Skip so I'm not. I'm not surprised by this at all. What intrigues me is that I think we all experienced a a year ago when Brady completed three straight third and ten passes in overtime to win at Kansas City a little bit of Brady burn out going toward another super bowl? I think the whole nation had a little bit of Brady burnout. Maybe you can call Brady Bell. Check Patriot burnout. But it was mostly based on number twelve. And yet he's still hung in there and hung in there and he's he's only second on this list. And the shock to me the the most telling development but to me is that Tom Brady at age. Forty two is still vying with Mahomes for being the most popular merchandise defacement. NFL limits requested who the number one in the NBA used seven teen. Whose number one wait a second? How did he get all you have to reach for Lebron? Because because I'm saying skip when you're the face he's still the face of the league this plus he just all those super bowls get every the how many jerseys they got a whole Jersey they gotta wager. They've got a throwback jersey. They got the color rush. So I gotta get all the top. It's not people say man. I got one Tom. Brady's Jersey. I got the Super Bowl. All Nine Super Bowl Insignia Jersey. So yes people like. Well how many Tom Brady jerseys do you need. Well I need every last one of they say by go goat. Yep We'll go. Jane's Yeah you mean the guy who got dumped on I think people they might be burning his jersey. All right. Look Lima Lima. No he is but but he's thirty. Five in Tom. Brady is forty three minutes equivalent. Did you see Tom. Brady at the Conor McGregor the other night he not look like a stud. I loved his who pick that or is that just. Tom Has really good start. Thank you got stop. You just go to Vegas. And then then he went right on to Kansas City. He's altogether better to do face to face SORTA. NFL Ma homeboy. He's got to put his arm around cody pushing for the last time you saw Tom Brady. twenty-three straight point put foot. Aw Put footsie round up New England. They had to go while you had to take the show on the road and then when Ah beat Tennessee which they didn't what you can't give into is that Tom Brady is still the face football league you just it irks you were you. At eats at hall is now look at all the people below the list and Tom Brady is still hanging in. It's like one eighty macos before do three or four games okay. But but going into the year you thought he was going to be number one. Starting March one through November thirtieth. All the all the hype because remember skip all the money was coming in. MVP Baker foodbank seasons say. They're receiving heavy money over Baker being. MVP look look at WHO's third Cowboys third option for people that got third. I.

Cujo yeah it was a total joke who's not happy with it it was easy it was a tiny well I think everyone's playing it up with these hold out it was not amused by a Jones is Z. quip and thought it was disrespectful the cowboys running backs agent told ESPN's Chris Mortensen I don't think it was funny neither did sick we actually thought it was disrespectful Saddam he even said that rocky are silent show Keegan being cute our snow said Elliot continues his contract hold out while training in combo San Lucas he's going to get paid though aren't they eventually and I have all of the guys holding out I believe Zeke is the one most likely to get paid I don't and he plays a bigger role in their offense I believe than Gordon does for the Chargers yes find out on a somber note something that will carmine Freddie talked with Thomas Jones about former Texas a and bears running back Cedric Benson died at the age of thirty six this weekend law enforcement mention that Benson was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday nights that's it still holds the second most career rushing yards in Texas longhorn history and had an eight year NFL career obviously here in Chicago with the bears then the bangles in the pack I always remember to the Bengals game when the bangles beat the bears and Bentsen got revenge running yeah that good year the rush for over a thousand yards that you're with the Bengals but the one thing that all the bears said like peanut tell men send something out a Briggs send something out that he always got along with him they all a lot of them especially the Texas players the guys who grew up in Texas all mention just he was one of the most prolific high school taxes players however I believe he played for the Midland school that was featured for Friday night lights you know what the book was out I think Midland Lee years something like that with the book was written about that not obviously years later right but but I think it's the same school a desk in Odessa Permian is there is also one of the yeah a lot of big school the all the former players who knew him said that they first saw him play in Texas high school and he was just on see what I think three state championships tale yeah he went to Robert E. "When l horford says the jalen is already comfortable in his own skin compare themselves to it was like at that age but then at the same time jalen points out the encouraging words joe greene said to him or something that really stuck with him so that all part of the balance where he has confidence in himself but he clearly really either needs or wants or enjoys affirmation from his colleagues wouldn't wouldn't and remember that team last year i think what did i forget how l describe them an interesting group are complicated group or whatever word he used very very strong personalities last year jae crowder is as thomas extremely strong personality who was very very tough on jalen brown some would tell you a little unfairly frankly so there were guys that you know had no time for this rookie to figure it out because they were trying to get playing for contracts playing for win playing for credibility you know they were all underpaid all of them jay crowder is ahah tom is j you own a stir edco all of them all those guys marcus smart all the more underpaid in their minds at were carrying huge chips on their shoulder and here comes this kid from cal who's you know fancies himself as an intellectual and isn't running the rotations properly and they you know nobody was going to put up with that so i think that what gerald green did was finally stood and looked back and said well you know even this kid who who carries himself with such confidence everybody needs an arm around the once in a while and it was nice that gerald green was the guy that two very unlikely comrades i would say just you know they're their way the their paths were and their personalities but you know gerald green given credit for doing that for understand you know what this kid he just needs someone to put his arm around saying hey you're doing great you're going to be special and and so you know jaylen brown didn't get that from the other guys i don't know if it's so much criticism of the other guys it's that sort of how the nba works.

"Talking what he says he seems pretty after coming through what happened high school where his mother helped him going to open the windows i'll make you whatever you want to eat but you're getting up and you're getting out the door he seems more open minded in enlightened by that and it seems like that was more of not just that moment but his year in college in in it seems that that's was a cal berkeley atmosphere would help create that so how much from what your experience with how much think he was shaped by that time in a really it wasn't dot to degrade any other basketball college basketball program but that seem can have is fear that was sort of perfect for who jalen brown is a thinker in a way i just think that's part of this kid has so much confidence you know one of my favorite lines in the story was when he's talking about when avery bradley went down with an injury last year jalen brown got plugged into the starting lineup and the team did incredibly well and they were on a long grueling road trip and every night jalen brown's guarding jj riddick and c j mccollum and some of the top players in the league and doing really well that and and he said you know i thought that of course avery bradley comes back from his injury and that's the end of jaylen brown is the starter avery bradley goes right back into a starting spot and jaylen brown goes back to the bench and jalen brown said i thought i had proved something by my time in the starting lineup i was mistaken and i love that because he he was mistaken because avery bradley had earned his right over many many years and jaylen brown just had enough confidence in south to think well i'm here to stay now and of course that wasn't how it went so that was probably another disappointment the interesting thing about him though we talk about that that that opening scene his junior year in high school when they don't win the state championship and they're heavily favored and he's the best player and it's supposed to happen you know he did he was the leading score but he followed out of that game the next year his senior year they won the state champion ship and.
