"So chris i would like to now get into is pro projection where he could fit his his best usage like we typically do and i think if we as we've already highlighted this is an outside corner. This is a guy that you want to be your number one corner if you already have a good corner and you want to go and grab this guy early on you could start as your second outside corner And you're going to get a shutdown guy the thing that i would like to acknowledge here. Because he's so good in man. He is going to be much higher valued for defensive. Coordinators are primarily man base defense so then transitioning this also chris to how that could then correlate for the giants who are going to be in the pick range to grab him if they wanted to go jc horn. They're going to have to transition away from running a lot of the cover three that they run in. They're going to need to consider running a lot more man if they don't do that. I don't think it's worth drafting. Jc horn but graham seems to be a defensive coordinator that is willing to experiment with with varying coverages based on his talent yet. And i do think. A lot of the giants coverage choices are based on the talent available. You know maybe if they didn't have to deal. So much with isaac jato and ryan lewis if they had a player like jc horn. Across from james bradberry. They would be playing a lot. More men coverage. I just generally speaking if you can play man coverage you should be playing man coverage almost without exception. I mean there are obviously man coverage beaters if if offensive coordinators know what's coming vacant scheme to beat it but generally speaking man coverage is going to result in lower completion percentages lower yards per attempt. And they're really difficult to run. Rpo's against so. I think if the giants decide they want to run more man coverage they really should take a long look at jaycee horn now if other teams want a more versatile cornerback a guy who can play more zone or play plays zone and man though probably look at a nother corner before horn but if you wanna play an aggressive defense a defense where you can either sit in. Covers zero or cover one lockdown receivers from just across the field and have all these extra guys to either blitz or flood the middle of the field or whatever then horn is a prospect needs. Take a long look at and it's tough to predict if the giants coaching staff would be willing to move away from what they've done this year if they would like to then approach going in getting another shutdown corner to really bolster that secondary in almost finish it off by getting a guy like j. c. horn. I'm gonna say it now. I think that horn is going to be the first guy off the board. I think that at that ten pick range if the giants are in that seven to twelve range if horn still available and maybe mike parsons greg. Russo is gone. They need to consider taking him. If you bring him to this this defense you can go from having a strong defense. I think it's very similar with parsons and russo. Few add any of these three guys. Your defense would take a huge step forward and you would have a really strong position group. Whoever's joining that so horn you bring him in. You don't have to rely on cover three which tends to be used when you have lesser athletes at the corner position. You don't have to do that as much you can rely on the fact that you have a guy that can shut guys down and i think that horn is the perfect player to come in bring in. If maybe parsons are rousseau's already gone absolutely. I think it really will depend on where the giants wind up picking and how the boards shakes out around them. And we've said a few times in this series that this is a really good cornerback. Class i think by the time all is said and done horned might wind up being both of ours. Cornerback one just because he plays the type of coverage we love to watch but even if you even if the giants don't wind up picking him if they wind up picking gregory russo or patrick's retain. Mike parsons or kind of whoever in that range they will have taken a significant step towards fixing a lot of the holes in their defense. Well chris let's wrap up today's show as we typically do. You're listening to this on friday morning. There's also some games going on on saturday chris. Why don't you take this first game here that we have coming up on friday which features two big twelve teams yet pry noon. Thirteen ranked iowa state Off against seventeenth ranked texas Those big twelve games. They're always interesting and personally. I kind of really like watching iowa. State play just for their defensive skiing. I've kind of become a big fan of that hair rate tiller defense but there's going to be some good players available personally. I kind of wanted to keep an eye on texas. Said joseph nye the giants need a pass rusher they need a a guy who can really threaten blockers and i think he might be one to keep an eye on. He's probably well. I don't wanna say probably he might not make it up into into the top half of the first round but he could be in that fringe one to two area where the giants. Don't get mike. Parsons or gregory russo. At the top of the first round they could be looking at him in the second. Yeah the second game here For me that's that's really standing out friday. I know i'm going to be watching. This one as i am a A notre dame fan. They're playing unc three thirty on friday. There's a lot of prospects in this game. I really encourage you to watch this game. There's a lot of interesting prospects. Linebacker chad surat for Unc liam aiken off. It's a tackle for notre dame robert haynes e tackle again for notre dame das- newsom. Unc wide receiver. Sam powell is their quarterback who's not a twenty twenty one guy but i think that if if you're gonna move off of daniel jones in a year if that's again hypothetical we don't know what's going to happen with that but if things are looking badly keep an eye out for him he's the only twenty twenty two guy that i'm really ever going to bring up on this show and then lastly jeremiah cormo the star linebacker for notre dame and then somebody who's really caught my eye lately is ben sclerotic. They're really big aggressive receiver. Who would be a fantastic depth type player to be drafted later in later rounds of this year's draft. What's the what's the last game that we got here. Chris that's got a pretty deep list of prospects. I mean obviously the iron bowl. Saturday three thirty in the afternoon alabama against That is a must watch every year. It might take a little too long to go through. Alabama's lists of prospects to watch Mentioned patrick's retained the cornerback quarterback. Max jones has really taken steps forward. I think he's surprised a lot of people this year. he could. Well be in that top. Five quarterback conversation come draft time. Dylan moses the linebacker. He's going to be worth a watch. I it will be interesting to see how the linebacker conversation shakes out behind mike. Parsons also alex weather. Alex leatherwood yanti brown on the offensive line to dismiss on the wide receiver. I really just whenever you're watching it. Alabama game just watch and try to keep keep track of who jumps off the field that you because all of them are going to the nfl but then also talking about big physical wide receivers. Keep an eye on. Seth williams of auburn. He's going to have great matchup against patrick 'certain and that matchup against jc horn was what really launched him into the national conversation. Williams isn't a super athlete but he is a very physical player..

"She was still a teenage prisoner of the Garrido's after almost two decades of being unable to even use her real name. It seemed like the horrors of her captivity were finally behind her. My guest host molly will take over to discuss the circumstances of Dugard's captivity. Thanks Vanessa. Jaycee Lee. Dugard had been a prisoner in Philip Garrido's home for eighteen years from June of nineteen ninety, one to August of two, thousand nine she lived in a shed in their backyard which had been soundproofed some no one could hear her screams. Garrido was a convicted sex offender and was out on parole at the time that he kidnapped Dugard during her captivity he even went back to jail for failing to take a drug test. When Philip was gone his wife Nancy, looked after their prisoner in nineteen ninety four after three years of living as a captive JC gave birth to her first child at age fourteen. She knew very little about pregnancy and childbirth. All she had learned was from the television, the Garrido's her have. She gave birth to a second child in nineteen, Ninety, seven at the age of seventeen was a fifth grade education. She resolved to raise and teach your children as best she could. Manipulated confused and alone JC did not know just how many times she came close to rescued. Phillip Garrido was still on parole and was supposed to be watched closely by the parole office as a high risk offender. However, he was mislabeled as low risk. Garrido had been fitted with a GPS monitor. So officials could keep track of his whereabouts. However. During this time, they ignored three, hundred, fifty five alerts from this device sent out every time the GPS lost a signal parole office representatives claimed that they ignore these alerts due to the relative remoteness of Grievous House. The same device showed how much time Burrito was spending in his backyard by the shed where Jaycee Dugard was held as a prisoner. Neighbors even occasionally caught side of the prisoners and attempted to alert the proper authorities. In nineteen ninety-one and neighbor reported seeing a blonde girl in the backyard and in two thousand, six, another neighbor called nine one one to report children doing some backyard camping. An officer showed up gave Garrido a stern warning at his front door and left after thirty minutes. Just like he would three years later greet had claimed that the children belong to.

Speed vs. Safety: Rapid Approvals from the FDA

"Why is the FDA's rigorous testing so necessary. Well I I think you're aware that a lot of drugs fail From safety concerns we all know about getting sleepy with antihistamines. Or you know that's the actual aside side effect that comes from the action of the drug on the brain. That's at the senior centers that we would like to counteract allergy. So that's what we call pharmacologic based aced toxicity. It's an effect actually on the target. But it's in a way that we don't want it to act GOTCHA. So as we're working on very new drugs we often don't understand like where there's receptors are in God or the brain or the immune system. There's a lot of things we don't understand about the basic mechanisms of action of disease and there's lot of things that we don't understand sometimes about where the receptors are in the buddy. I mean it seems great. Yeah but that's why. I'm kind of glad if my original training and classic Comic Anthology Because you have to ask questions okay. where else is the receptor? Who else could hit end so? FDA trained to think about those nightmare scenarios of what it could do that. You don't want it to do right and ask those hard questions to make sure that we have the checks and balances right a lot of the early drugs That were used in AIDS. Patients Cause Peripheral neuropathy and that wasn't shown very well in the animal models models but it caused intense pain in the patients at the same doses that was needed for the virus. It wasn't until later that we got the protease inhibitors that really counteracted the road. And that's the basis of the lifesaving therapies that we have today I was really fortunate to be. FDA during that time when the protease inhibitor came through so switching gears a little bit what is personalized medicine. When it comes to patients like for example adjacent armstead and meal Amac? I understand that Jaycee is a twenty five year old with Lou GEHRIG's disease while meal is a young girl with batons disease who have both recently benefited from personalized medicine. He I think we have come to the place in drug development where we understand a lot more about genetics of disease so so yes switching away from viruses and into genetic Madison we have a lot of inborn errors when we learned that there is an inborn Gene that was missing in a patient has always been there born like that and as soon as we can diagnose them and with that replacement gene product or the enzyme of interest interest. We can save their lives so. LS has also been learned to be a whole series of different mutations responsible for LS Um and so you have to look at those different subsets according to their genetic diagnosis. But we also know that Batten's disease is a specific mutation and there's also something like fourteen different forms of Batten's disease that are mutations in same pathway that result in the same type of phenotype of neurological article degeneration some earlier some younger and some an older kids or adults in the case of Mula. She has two mutations that are different on both of the wheels that caused the dysfunction of a particular protein. Batten's disease six seven and there's only a handful or double handful of kids worldwide. They're known to have that particular subtitled batons and Jaycees case she has a very aggressive form of al it lasts called F s mutation and it has a particularly bad course people with F.. US typically sadly succumbed LS typically approximately a year. Because it's so aggressive. It's very hard to intervene soon enough. And there has never been a medication that could actually address the fundamental gene problems in these two cases so we need to design whole new the truck when we find the particular mutation and it turns out depending on the molecular biology and that control mechanisms around them. A tation some all of them are amenable to go nuclear type therapy and both of these girls have been their particular. Genetics have been amenable to A strategy she of using nuclear tight enter equally sadly we did not know that. JC had this particularly bad ale ass us until she was twenty five. Her family had lost her twin sister at the age of seventeen and Alex add add. Actually he contracted the symptoms of L. S. at age eleven so the two girls were identical. They had the same mutation but one got symptoms at eleven on the other at twenty five. JC I guess Through some grace right. Her symptoms arose during time in which a drug was already available in unaccompanied show that happened to be appropriate for her. So I understand and that in this case she got lucky. Well in a way because the drug already existed otherwise we couldn't have intervened quickly enough. Yeah it was an act of considerable effort on the part of the patient advocacy group project. LS The head of Columbia University's LS LS center. Dr Neil Snider in the company who originated the drug and all of us that were helping around the sides trying to support like an exoskeleton including Charles forever and I was helping with the regulatory strategy and also trying to make sure that the drug that was chosen was actually appropriate to the most expedient animal model so as a result of that we were able to put together a very lean and mean I N D for JC and get her approved through the FDA. I have to say. FDA was understandably cautious but when they heard her situation detail and how she'd lost her twin sister the understood of course about a few and they made a lot of exceptions to the usual toxicology regulations. Well I know that she had been she and her family. They had been advocating pretty publicly for a while up until it was approved. I if I'd been in her mom shoes I would have done the same thing called. She lower local congressman. The Stephen King and there was actually quite a response. In Congress. There is a bill that was put forward to ask. FDA to move expediently for JC. I don't know that that had specific impact but just to say that they got some considerable public discussion. And how Camilla's case different in her case Tim you At Boston Children's Hospital recognized that her condition was suitable for an exon skipping being drug very similar to Isis Been Raza and he was able to use a similar backbone and design a drug from scratch within several months it was quite remarkable global. We've done the testing for it and then we've Were able to get started with just a acute data and then I designed a type of a program in which we would update the FDA very regularly on the progress of the toxicology studies so that we could extend her dosing and again. FDA's group group that does an enzyme replacement was wonderful. In working with us to customize that I approach how do you envision cases like these being handled in the future after all not everyone. Everyone has a congressman. That's willing to go to bat for them. Like Jaycee did not. Everybody should take one. There's definitely a sea-change coming is really exciting. And it goes back to the changes brought about by the AIDS patients who identified that they were an extreme unmet medical. Need we see the finalization of the L. S. guidance. We see a lot of guidances have come out on rare disease from the agency in the past twenty four months. And I'm very excited about this because we're really getting to the place where we custom tailor the amount of upfront non clinical research. That has to proceed to human trials customize. That the patient's situation well do you think that each was going to require its own uniquely designed non clinical research at will or will there kind of. Okay you're not gonna be able to have like a standard version that works for most Aso's typically called platform toxicology in kind of a dream. Right now when you look across all a good nuclear tides you find out remember. I mentioned early in this talk about the pharmacologically driven toxicity. Let's say there's another place in the genome that has has a similar sequence. We end up having the drug acting by its intended action bit at the wrong place which is an off what we call an on target but unwanted toxicity existed that could arise by modulating genome which is a little scary right to put something into the spine or once. You invoke gene therapy. What's done is done so you need to have really careful toxicology evaluations that look at the animal as if it were a miniature clinical trial? And you know you're basically siklie handling the animals has patients and so we get as much information as we can vary from each particular experiment and try to make sure that Ed's translation Lee accurate for predicting patient risk. We need the parents to know that right. If if you were me. Resigning are up to our child. An an in-and-out shoes

"I was start getting projects where I can be doing serious fo- cana- science research. And even fill in health and safety foams without kind of giggling by route comments or whatever. I had one trip. I was always going off to Hawaii. I had to take politician various serious piece of TV code lava jaycees. So we're not to Hawaii with the Discovery Channel failed in all the health and safety phones. I might get burned to live by twelve hundred degree and mitigate this hazard by wearing this massive ridiculous suit. And went out and did the show, and I took the whole thing very seriously. And it was a very serious experiment about bubbles and getting out of lava flows, and then kind of went back home. And I watched the shower afterwards. She's embarrassing enough. But really embarrassing. It was like how is deadly serious during most of the show it kind of kind of wasn't may. And the guy was there. Where is awesome old Hawaiian guy whose lives out by the law, and he'd flat out refused to wear the massive Silva suit? And he dressed kind of know is. But he had his resign protective kind of fellow proof stuff on eighth. And when the Discovery Channel interviewed him, remember like me, and I was like this is very dangerous for very serious. We're gonna interview him and he's like. Even though I'm older than fast. I can still outrun that lava flow. And that was like. Back. God I'm going to be the serious guy. But. But yeah, this kind of side to my life. I started to realize maybe I need to. Be a little not take myself. So seriously, we. I went back to teaching. And have fun. But my students we had in two thousand twelve there was a series of quakes on mountain Guerrero. And I was kind of joking with my class. All this happens. A law is probably just rain would moving through the volcanoes nothing to worry about. And as often the case, I was massively wrong volcano, and boom and. Am I had to kind of that with my class? But but it was involved in the in the science surrounding this and. Most of the important science into the serious people, but many Stu and cough a little bit related to the the rocks. That come flying out of the volcano, the ballistics Roxette come out of the volcano. They smashed all along the Tango crossing some gone through the roof of the hot the roof top bunk. The bottom bunk out the bottom of the hot. Pretty full on unluckily. We could still kind of laugh about it. Because it happened in the middle of the night and there no one no one in the hot. And I went on the crossings. There's no one cared. So we have this big research effort. And then one them sitting in my office. And. We said we've been doing this. We. "It is creating and maintaining the best product at the best price in your sub market that makes money over time. I learned this from my mentors, I'm excited to to share it with you because I see so many people missing this, and it is a key factor to success. So the most common forgotten items. Are things that jaycees don't do. And they're usually outside of the house on the rest of the property, so trimming or removing trees, landscape cleanup and curb appeal repairing or replacing fences and gates, and these are expenses that have to be in your numbers because you have to make sure that you can bring that property up to the level. You need it to be in order to command the rents that you want and to be able to quickly rent that property, so you have to pay attention to how this property looks. You also don't want to be paying for these things after the fact you want everything rolled into your rehab budget. So that you get it all done at once having to take down a tree, you know, some of these tall trees can be five hundred to a thousand dollars to remove. So if you've got a dead tree in the yard you need to get it down during your initial rehab. Same thing with landscape, and cleanup you want that curb appeal so people want to look at the property. They want to go in. They wanna see more and repairing fences and gates wants your tenants are in the property. They're gonna. Ask you to repair those if you're selling the property you're buyers, it's gonna come up on inspections. They're going to ask you to repair them. So get them done up front. And then another category is the most commonly missed or deliberately left off the scope of work items. These are often harder to see and harder to evaluate especially for deal is moving quickly. And this again is about repairing anything in the property that is not going to last for five years. HVAC is a really common one water heaters, plumbing, issues, electrical issues, replacing repairing roofs, those things need a little more time in inspection. So you can really get a handle on them and make sure your scope of work is complete when we return in just a moment. We're going to continue talking about the scope of work and then move onto the rest of the seven costly mistakes to avoid during.

"This is building. Something's going to happen. Something's going to happen. And at this point something has to happen, he is in dire straits. So then we get to week eleven to double vision. Tyler wins the of the double vision and, oh, jaycees world is about to come crashing down as JC finally touches the block the first time all season and he's gonna go up next to Sam Angeles, gonna win the veto jaycees going to be taken down replaced by Brett. Brett is going to be victim unanimously and things are not looking great for JC. Bread is gonna leave feeling hurt that JC voted him out, but is definitely rooting for him to make the end definitely willing to give JC his votes JC really. Really like embodying the underdog status here, really gaining momentum in terms of jury support? Yes, absolutely. And he is feeling so betrayed by Tyler in this moment. This is. You know, the realization that, oh, well, we've been together this whole game, but obviously there's more going on. He feels so hurt and bothered by this, and he really tries to guilt Tyler about what he did because he doesn't have anywhere else to go at this point. There's literally nobody else that he can work with to try and and split anything up. Yes, it's at this point. The JC realizes that his whole game or at least up until the point where Tyler with Angela because he didn't know that it was bad from the start, has his gone off on the wrong trajectory. And he is a very tough road ahead of him if he wants to survive and. He's really like, oh crap. I I made a wrong move somewhere along the line and it had a lot to do with Tyler. This is this is not good. A decent amount of self awareness here. Of course, he's not completely aware of everything we head into week, twelve Angela's going to win the h. she is going to nominate JC and Sam. But JC is not the target all that work with Brett's all that guilt tripping it successful. And you know they're going to make sure they target Sam over j c and that's pretty huge for him. Yeah. And this goes back to there's so many conversations that have happened over the course of the season and in this week where they're like, yeah, but like jaycees the one we need to bring down with us. He, we love him so much all, let's just bring him with us and though it didn't end up being to the five with Brett as those conversations had been, it does manage to keep him safe over Sam. Yeah. And this is again, I credit to come, which work he was doing throughout the entire game to make sure he stayed stay state safe. You'd think that would be an easy boot over Sam. A lot of people were confused who hadn't been watching the feeds wise JC staying over Sam. It doesn't make any sense, and it's impossible to explain in just one week. It's really the. Culminating of his active gameplay style throughout the entire season of constantly doing everything he can to keep himself safe in as many circumstances as possible. And that's what keeps them alive through the final five when really Sam is the obvious choice to bring forward. Yeah, exactly. He has inflated in fell very well with sex, especially when he did get caught and kind of threw his lot totally in with them that really helped him to go, especially because Sam has been famous erotic in a different way. Right? And it's always interesting to get rid of the person where you don't know what they're going to do. Right. And they also, Sam has won a competition and JC hasn't, and that also helps that they think it will definitely be able to beat JC in the final four? Yes. JC is going to try to convince Tyler Casey if the veto plays out the right way, but his course able to persuade him. So JC he's not giving up. He spent. The week trying to make a bond with Casey. Now, Brett's gone, he's he's recognizing that Tyler's not who we thought he was. And so he's trying to make a new big, dumb puppet. He's trying to get with KC using the LGBT connection telling Casey that if he wins the next week, he'll be keeping her safe that he know him and her to the end. He's recognizing this is the movie has to make if he wants any chance of moving forward..

"And but but obviously since jaycees not winning these competitions, Tyler is kind of getting the best of him at the moment. But let's get into this comic Pedo. We finally got the comics. They've changed this up a bit, which is which is why we're going to see much faster times than we normally would, though Casey's still, obviously very impressive in comparison to the rest. But instead of the normal, like you know, you look at the thing and then you try to put all all the pieces together. It's a, it's a one to one choice every time. So you've fifty fifty shot of getting it right for every question. So it's gonna be a lot faster. It's considerably easier to get through this one, which I'm not. I'm actually I feel like this worked better. I know some people are. Out on it because it was so much easier. But I feel like visually it works better because we know the correct answer as they're going along. It's more of like an obstacle course, he kind of thing. So it's more visual in terms of the action that's going on there punching the thing down instead of like hanging whatever it was that they were doing before. So actually, I actually I liked the changes. Yeah, I feel like I at first I was like, no, I don't like this at all. This is terrible, but also like I hate change. So that's partially what it is. But yeah, I was like, what? Where's the line? Where's the chew? Easy? I don't like it. The only depict like between four different things. That's nothing. But I did like when they punch them like they're a real superhero and it looked like they were real fight, really fighting crime. I- I liked it. You know, I feel like visually it was more entertaining to watch, I guess, because you've got to see each individual person goes through the course and do put their own spin on it. I mean, Brett broke the course you broke Winston. So that was pretty funny to see miraculously he was healed in the next clip. But I feel like with the zip line one, you kinda get a little bit of humor with like them using zip line for the first time because usually they're pretty bad at it. But then it's just kind of like, okay, they're going to go back up. They're going to do the up line. They're going to just watch it and like slowly go across and then run, and you can't really tell what's going on. You can't really tell who's doing a good job or who's picking the right answers, like you said. So overall, visually it was. More entertaining to watch this one, although it was way easier. I mean, because with the previous version you had to look at the backgrounds to and this one you just had to look at the people. So there were as many possible little small changes that you wouldn't notice. So it was just it seemed way easier. And I also didn't like that. They didn't involve all of the comics. They only had some of the people up there, whereas I like that with the the original version, they had to do each comic. So if there would be a way to incorporate all the different comics rather than just showing them on the screen, the beginning, I feel like I would like it more. I feel like the could've done more choices and they also they could have incorporated the background in could just be a square cut out. So I think there are ways to make this easier. Honestly, I feel like the the thing that kind of failed in the portrayal of this competition was that it was always going to be incredibly difficult to portray it as anywhere near close because Casey got it on her. First try in two minutes and Haley. The person that we're building up is like the only person that can really screw this up, took. Took over like almost nineteen minutes. So it's like it's hard to get any real tension because you can't show more than one run of really anybody without immediately letting you know that. Okay. Well, this didn't work out. So Casey took like six minutes to watch the comics in the beginning. I mean, that would be the only way that someone doing more than one run could possibly have lost a Casey..

"He's just loses his mind because it's very shocking to see your yourself looking incredibly different. And he's a very funny moment. He just he can't handle it. He can't even look at himself and everyone's screaming, just screaming like you look good, you look so good. You look so and good, and he's like. That'll be. And meanwhile JC is like nine looks terrible. You look like a woman. Yeah, it's it's all very like, it doesn't come across as like we're buddies and I'm teasing you. It comes across as just mean he's, he's legitimately like Tyler. I like year my guy. I'm in love with you. But if you keep your hair like this, I'm going to go Go's trade you for Brett because I just can't. I just can't deal with it. Go take a shower right now. Yeah, it's it's all kind of gross then comes off as j saving like you. You look like a woman and women are gross, and it's not not great one prince like, oh, you know, he looks like Thor and jaycees. I, yeah, maybe Thors wife. He's. Character, and he's like. I guess maybe Natalie Portman. Jaycees ties complaint like, oh, I guess Angela likes girlie men because she likes it. She, he's jaycees very, very against the the straight hair. Yeah, has jealousy is a really great look on him and time it comes out. So so that's happening. I think part of this too was that JC was annoyed about the conversation with Tyler strategically and he's taking it out on on his air. But this is also like par for the course for JC in terms of like, you know. You know, like one fest is saying that he thinks he's very masculine and jaycees festive masculine. He just. He's not a gender police? Yes, yes. So JC is going to go talk to Brett and he's basically in a give Brett the exact same pitch that that he gave Tyler. He's talking about Haley and you can't. You can't tell Haley anything. She'll tell everyone else. She's got such a week game. She aligned with so many weak people. But you know the people that we should target next, the most dangerous people in this house of the ones that have each other's back, one hundred percent. And you know, there's only two people in this house left who have each other's back. One hundred percent who are them. I've been thinking about, should we tell Tyler about how Angela in case you have a final to just on a separate completely unrelated now. And breads like, oh, I think I think he probably knows Tyler, probably understands. He's like, yeah, they're so loyal to each other and Haley Hayley and Sam hate each other. Hm. Just thinking out loud here and bread is have you have you talked to Tyler about this. And Jason's like now, no, I couldn't tell Tyler about this. He I'd be too afraid he'd go run until Angela and Casey. So like when you're a kid and you're like asking your parents or something and your data's like, did you ask mom? And you're like impo mardi said no, but you're like, no, I haven't asked her. Maybe if dad says, yes. So he was like, no, I haven't talked to Tyler, and he's also catching like if Hailey and Sam leave than we are the next targets. So that's like also incorporated into his Petroci couldn't really say to Tyler, but he can't say to Brett. So that's part of it. And like maybe why? Brett is at least not shutting this down as quickly as Tyler. Yes. So he's, he's really pitching this like maybe we should think about the Angela and Casey breads like, okay, but what would we do if it was Haley versus Sam on the block? And Jason probably Victoria league because Sam is at least loyal to us, even though she's crazy. And Brett's like, yeah, but Haley is coming after Angela and Casey. Like, that's it's not a bad thing for us. And so Jason say, oh, okay. Hey, he's not coming after Casey. Just see no breath JC also. He's like, okay, so maybe we'd put like Angela up next to Haley and Brett says, no, no, we'd have to put Haley or we'd have to put Angela up on the block next. Casey, we'd have to put them both up because you don't want one of them winning the veto taking the other person off..

"So. I love his position. Well, I don't. I don't. I love a love minus like I love his position their house, but it's a little I. I am heartened by the fact that he is wary of the sidelines of Casey and Angelo when he was talking about Tyler, like, I don't want to let you know. I don't want them to choose Tyler or I don't want them to choose you over me what he said to Tyler Tyler like, oh, no, no, I would never let that happen. Oh, yeah, sure. And I'm also a little concerned that believe it or not. That jaycee is thinking with something other than his is here because he is absolutely in Namur with Tyler. I don't know what it is about the sky, but he is just so into him. He has a crush on him. He wanted minute, but he does have a crush on the way talks about him. I'm I'm, I'm just there's no, he's Tyler, can do no wrong. Jaycees is. And the one thing that does make me feel even better about its position. The game is the Tyler went talking with Angela about JC was like, well, we'll deal with him. There wasn't ever a plan about what to do, which leads me to believe the Tyler wants to Jake take JC further in the game, and then he's leading onto Angela right now. So I actually do like jaycees position within the game. I am. I think there are a couple of scenarios where we actually could go home the following week if certain things happen. But outside of those extreme scenarios, I feel very good about him and I love what he did this week. So I'm not alone. I gave eight. All right, Melissa, how do you feel? Yeah, I feel really good about j. c. I don't quite go great about his possible position moving forward since it doesn't seem like I, it doesn't seem like he has that many allies moving forward. And these could be a possible easy target for level six. Once they get out Haley. And Sam, maybe maybe they'd get him out before Sam, who knows. So I don't really know how he's going to move forward, but I didn't see him getting to this point and I didn't see him pulling off this move this week. So I'm super impressed by what he was able to do with Bessie and with getting Scotty out of the house. I really did not coming at all. I mean, this whole season. I feel like I haven't seen any way that JC pulls off whatever stunt he's trying to pull up. And then lo and behold, he pulls it off. So you know, I feel I feel really good about him in terms of his ability to convince people of things. So I'm going to give him a seven. Terron before you reveal your rating for him, can you what can we talk about? Who j. what target if he wins h. o. h. because I am utterly confused by that, and I don't know that I that we have a definitive answer. I don't think JC will try to win HOA copy on us. But I think if he did win, he would try to target brat. I think that he that he made like Bredon Haley. Robin leaves. That's fine. Like he, he wouldn't be too sad about Haley leaving, but or he might honestly, no, he wouldn't target Sam. He doesn't want same out. I think I think Brett might be a bread or Haley would be his his shots here, I think, well, if that's the problem for if you're a Haley fan because I thought that would j c might be the one person in it. You know, twenty Pete's targeting Brett by putting Brenton Haley on the. But of course, the house is not going to let that standard going to vote to Vic Haley and keep it in the house at the level six alliance hold. So I don't know that updating good for her but or good for JC jaycees best bet is to keep Bessie in Haley in the house right now as a threesome and move forward with them. But I feel like he's to the problem that you see right now. He said he's friends with everybody. Keep this like he doesn't know basically where to go. He doesn't want it on any of the Angela piss off Tyler. He doesn't wanna nominate Casey because that's his LGBT connection. Although I don't know if he was just saying that he doesn't wanna nominate Sam for reasons. He doesn't want to have any pets because he controls them. You know what I mean?.

"Incline here for jaycees pricing tobe. It doesn't just crash one day. Let's let's move on to Brett's Bret who got five across the board last time, very interested to hear Melissa. What you think of this week. I think Brett's doing. Much better than he had been doing. I mean, not that he was doing poorly to begin with, but I feel like the fact that he's trying to he's thinking more in a game way. I like the way he's thinking where he saying he wants to be a double agent and take Tyler's spa as double agent, which like, you know, it's interesting that that's something he's even considering doing. I feel like a lot of the time people don't even think to do that. They just are like unsticking on my side and this is my side and I'm not going back and forth. But I liked that he's kind of trying to create positive people and like critic bond with Scotty and going back and forth and trying to figure this. I mean, who knows it was going to work, but I think that he's doing really well socially right now. So I'm going to. Yeah, I I'm good. And so I'm going to give him a six. Alright, Brent. Have you feel. I'm trying to view the. Window right now. Can you tell me what I previously gave a breads because. Every week. Yeah. See, I went up to spaces this week. I gave him a seven feel better and better about Brits place in the house. I think tearing you had a really great analogy on the light when you compared him to Paul as somebody who didn't know the game as come into the house, trying to play to the best of ability a little messy at first learning along the way. And he's to a point now where I feel like he is above replacement level, which is our lingo for. An average person who would play big brother in the big brother house. So I feel great about his game. I'm trying to think of somebody who come see. I don't think Scottie would come after him anymore. I think they've been making some bonds together. I know maybe fessing would come after him, but because jaycees and trying to get him to. I think that people enjoy him in the house. He's able to keep his temper under control. And I feel like you could certainly win at the end. He's smart guy in many of these times. Kansi's come in like second place to Tyler. So I feel good about him. I'm trying to look for negative. I guess the negative for me would be like his his body, the factories such an imposing presence in the house and people worry like, oh, we should get rid of him because he's, you know, a beast. Other than that, I think that they probably wanna keep them around for now. So that's why a seven? Yes. Brent pointed out, I enjoying that Brent are that Brett is learning the game as he goes along and you can see it and he's starting to recognize, hey, towers. I've been up on the block a few times now and I've barely survived a few times now and Tyler is doing. Something right. The second Tyler touches the block, everyone freaks out. Everyone wants to take him off the blog, right? He's playing the middle. Maybe I can play the middle may..

"It's not gonna happen. Tomorrow or anything like that, but jaycees got do this work to like put some kind of not a barrier in between them, but just put something in there, put some seeds of doubt. Some some kind of just barely. She's crazy. You have to listen to me like, she's, she's the one going going that's over there. So good JC. He continues to do you know, small amount. Little work. I'm not doing this on purpose. I swear. He continues to do work every week, even though he. Hasn't had any power or say, yes, I think that I think that we found out if you are somebody who is not like the best game player and you look like Fethi or maybe maybe Austin, Judas. The way to play this game is wound school on what's going on. And then everyone will just be fighting to pick you up and use you in the game because that's what's happened with everybody wants him to be their pawn between Bailey Caitlyn Haley JC. Everybody wants just wants to be his number one and in ride him to the end. And he just wants to to ride hailing. Good morning, everybody. So. Angela, Casey and Tyler arguing to talk about. Okay. Like Scotties planning veto everyone's gonna use it on you, except for obviously rockstar and maybe Scottie. So we need to figure out how do we get Scotty to use the veto on you, all sorts of different things. We'll Yali already promised me too that he would. But let's let's talk about some other ways that we can figure this out will will need to say like, we'll need to tell him, we'll pretend that we're going to back door somebody else or put somebody else on the block that that he will agree with. How about this? We could also stage a fight with Brett and make it seem like like, Brett's gonna go on the block, and then I'm pissed off a Brett and so on and so forth, and I can bond with Scotty that way. So coming up with all kinds of plans to get scouted use the veto, then they're like, okay, but if Scotty doesn't use the veto or if rockstar wins, veto, I'm still on the block. We've got to come up with another plan and this is when he comes up with the. Alright. So I've been thinking about this. We can call a house meeting we can. I can say that to people in this house are related. Did you can tell by their facial features? It's Scottie and it's rockstar. They're like brother sister, something. He's never gonna vote against her. So on and so forth. And he's just he's so many. So many contingency plans coming from from Tyler's just like crazy mind and. He, he, he goes through them to like these are not just like, oh, let me come up with these things that will never actually happen. Like right from week one, we we saw him do this to kaitlin. That was a crazy contingency plan and it worked and it happened and then the Scotty is my best friend operation Scott. He's my best friend that has paid off in spades, like these these contingency pens are crazy, and, and he's actually going through them. And I think that's another reason why this season has been so good is because there's a player in here that's like actually doing these crazy things and it somehow working for the most part, which is just ridiculous. I mean, I think the way will not. I think the way that he does it is just because he's he's kind of hiding bottom. This character of this dumb surfer guy that every time that he has conversations like this, where he's he puts on the face of like, so. Just I think our saw something happening and you know, so he just hides behind like the slower voice. I'm like the, he just slows everything down to to make it seem like he is in his brain isn't moving as fast as that actually is. So he does a lot of good work with that Scott. I like, yeah, like he was like, oh yes, Scotty sometimes calls rockstar, and and he slips up. So like I point that out and say that that has something to do with it. It's it's fun. You know, the one thing that Haley got out of putting Tyler is that you know Tyler did get shaken up a little bit. He did. His brain was kind of like ski was completely scrambling. He didn't expect it to see the block this week..

"And then JC makes the argument of, well, what makes you think that the two nominees are just going to be okay, we're doing this and then g c gets a little sarcastic. You could sense. JC loves this. He's having this. You just love the chaos of it all and then so then they decide these, your went on this decision of well, okay. Let's to vote if this unanimous we'll do it. So cheerio it's a yes if it's an eminent, that's a no or the other way. I'm not completely sure. Ultimately doesn't really happen if you wanna check this out. This was fun meeting. It starts around ten forty, big brother. Yes, j. c. is the one that suggests the anonymous vote. Because he wants, he wants the vote to happen. He is loving this whole thing. He's like, yes, we're gonna production over and. And so they're really getting ready for the vote. But Rockstars eventually goes like, well, the nominees are never gonna like, nobody's we're never going to trust the nominees to not when this competition, they're not gonna, throw the competition if they're up on the block. So they all kind of agree. Like, yeah, it's not gonna work and like, all right, fine. Fine. Trying to help everyone out just trying to progress female empowerment, but that's what you want. And, and then they're all they're all going to have a great laugh about about all of this festival is going to be on the floor laughing afterward. And Sam JC comes back and SAM's like, oh, we're not doing the voting more Jason's like what I wanted to do the vote, and they're all just throwing this cracking up this grid. Great, great stuff. Just a nice little intrude in the middle of the night from Sam bizarro house meeting. I mean, I'm not gonna lie. What would have been fun? We noticed anything from votes this season. It bothers people when the votes aren't where they think it is. And you know this, what on the way Sam wanted to would have been fun to see Sam a little bit on Hinch I digress. I'm very okay with the fact that they, yes, jaycees. Like I knew rockstar would never go along with that plan. Then then then we get Bailey and rockstar, and Bailey is going to come up to rockstar out of nowhere. And you know, I talked about Julie last night seems like forever ago that I talked about it, but I- Julie last night being Jack Bauer. Bailey was full on back Jack Bauer, torturing rockstar, you did it rockstar, I know you did it, don't you lie to me? You're an actress, come on, come on, rockstar admitted to me. You were the vote. You have a secret alliance with Brett and Rockstars like, no, it wasn't me. Why were you having secret conversations with him. Do you ever talk to ever since. I saw you. I saw you talking to him earlier in the week. No. And and then Bailey's just like, what are you telling me? You're telling me that so now. Oh, great. Now you're telling me that everyone else is lying to me. I can't trust anyone. Well, that's going to be your fault then that I can't trust anyone else. If if it wasn't you that Mme makes it your fault. I don't trust him. You know, that's not true. You have friends. I don't have friends. So you should score yourself. This is the worst and then she storms off. Yeah. Well, also you missed a couple of points in there where you know what shut up. Don't be lot. I'm whispering. You should whisper to. So that if I'm whispering, you need to his per to, she's yourselves to shut up. Stopping and yes, that happens multiple times. Yeah, yeah. And anything rockstar trying to explain with baileigh will not by I swore on my, you'll see when you got what does she want to get? Walked the truth now I want it now anything I want hard facts. None of this is helping me what they're telling you in the DR doesn't mean anything to me because rox says, will they told me I was wrong four times. I don't care. That is not evidence. I need evidence. I need the truth. I saw you talking with him, you're telling them you didn't talk with them at all. I saw guys in the room together..

"Like jaycee is more of the owner and he kind of made fethi his little dog like the way he like tells them what to do and like directs them everywhere which i kind of think then find the irony all like things like essy's jaycees pet and i also love the relationships in the sense that like they have this like passive aggressive relationship with each other to jc is constantly like undermining people like who think that fancy is attractive and yes he really liked that really gets under festivals skin like he really likes the attention from the women and so anytime jc is like undermining that he's like he gets so annoyed i love that yeah i think it was terrorism yesterday were fest us working out with like olive oil over him and he was like latina and self in a mirror in jaycees yelling at him to like stop catching everything and go outside like in wants to look at you i don't know they're there i was literally like busting up laughing like it was my husband's looking at me from across the room like i'm weird but i mean no jc cracks me up yes so tyler and scotty are going to have a conversation again about sam's power tyler is trying to do some damage control realizing that i might have gotten caught and he he tries his i heard some speculation beforehand about sam's power but i didn't over sure they do kind of again this kind of seems like it's repairing the damage a little bit but it's hard to tell because i never really heard back from scotty about how he's feeling about tyler now they talk about being a little bit worried about sam why sam didn't tell them about the power in the first place and what they wanna do moving forward in the game you know tyler trying to reassure scotty that this was a good week and that he he didn't he did good work and that they can move forward together well so it seemed like a good conversation but for all i know there's still like daggers in in scotties mind heading toward tyler's back oh no scotty is he's out for blood i mean like he said he wants the target like to hit them from the front and the back in the fact that tyler is lying to him like straight to his face i think even though he seems very cool and calm while talk in tyler like i think there's so much going through his mind which kind of makes you well under is that why he's china talk more with casey and qc by the way we're seeing her more and more everywhere talking to everyone and it's siri is very nice to see it's shocking to see but i mean she is more than just you know furniture but but back to tyler scotty i think scotty is just trying to i think scottie wants tyler to tell the truth in his waning from to tell the truth and the fact that he's not i think is just kind of more of a reason why scott is getting worried because of the tyler's the one person he thought he could trust besides sam and those are the two people that he sees it are lying to him yeah it's it's it's a tricky situation i definitely need to if we see this on the episode i like i'm just i i want to know more about like where scott had is that because it definitely seemed like he cooled down a bit from the previous night but he's definitely got to be still be suspicious of tyler so that's something we gotta look out for as the days move on bailey halian rockstar did talk about tyler also.

"A lot of compliments from bands and be he definitely wouldn't be the least trending houseguests he's a little bitter about that i'm sure he thinks he's the shit and man he just found out that well we don't really care about him at all he's boring yeah usually it takes like an entire season for these like alpha d bros to sort of realize that they're not the best thing in the world and festival taste of right away and i feel like that might mean good things for his huger but it hasn't so far so he did point out the jaycees the size of his dog i enjoyed that like he's cuddling jc if i had a human sized dog sized human i'd probably enjoy coddling yeah right so we see sam letting tyler know that she has the power we've talked about this a lot on some other podcasts but brent i want to know do you think this was the right move for sam to open up to tyler into only tell tyler about this power do you think this is like the correct decision from sam at this point in time yes at this point in time without talking about what's happening on the feeds after this episode aired i think that it certainly was the correct move to tell tyler and only tyler because he's the person who most people are listening to right now he's seen as a benevolent in the house everybody really likes him even though he nominated her he is particularly coast close to sam and i feel like that she's looking for allies she's got she's got to trust in somebody and tyler is the kind of person that you just wanna spill secrets to as we'll talk about later on he has i really liked this conversation like is it is it a thing thing oh it's a it's a thing thing what you just tell him i have the power key man i have the power says he's like so like how long does it last a one news thing or is it like like maybe last a little while kind of thing she's like i'm not ready to earn all those words out of my mouth quite yet which you know okay again the words john i think she thought she said own i'm not ready to own all those words out of my mouth yet what's i think what she was trying to say was she doesn't want a situation like what happened last year with jessica where you say more than what the power is because big brother will step in the one thing about it rather i talked about before as far as powers in the game though it's not like survivor you're not allowed to lie basically you're not allowed to use production as a strategy that involves any of these towers that other people don't have access to you cannot lie about it you cannot tell them if you don't want to you but if you choose to open your mouth anything that comes out of your mouth better be truthful or big brother will step in and make you tell the house the truth which of course you just look you look like a liar and you don't you look like you don't have what you said you have which is even worse so she was careful not to say everything to tyler i thought maybe that conversation came up a little stilted like he was not particularly happy with her like why don't you tell me but i think he got what he needed to from that conversation yeah and i'm really enjoying the right now people are still debating about whether steve is actually forty really quickly i saw that i wonder i was gonna come back to that i didn't want to interrupt just consider this okay look at my face all right i'm forty three all right i forty three years old sivas technically younger than me betty's boggling to me how is that possible i'm like i'm incredulous i had a little work done but still but still taryn i'm saying like he's gotta be like pushing fifty there are a lot of people back in steve up saying you know no he's actually forty we also got a request that you you.
