Our first four weeks will be here at the wider location will stop by Hebron for two weeks in a row after that, then Richwood for three, and then we'll finish down the stretch back here at Wilder. To complete at least 18 shows here on the roundtable show excited to be here long. Next sports grill dot com For more information, I may take this menu home with me, Rock. I may lose and scout the headliners. The sandwiches, the pot roast Manhattan, the baby back ribs. Rubin was really good. I'm going pot roast sandwich next week. They also have calzones, chicken wraps and more all at the Long Neck Sports Grill Tonight in the first four weeks of the season in Wilder, Lance McAllister, Rocky Boy, Man, We will wrap up this part of the hour on a college football theme and get back into the Bengals And maybe Take some calls in the eight o'clock hour in terms of, uh, it's a question that asked Jay Morrison last night. It was part of his discussion on their podcast with Paul Dinner Junior. How we define success for the 2021 Cincinnati Bengals coming up in the eight o'clock yard You know if, um If we think about it, we should have Laura on for a segment. Sometimes I think Laura would love to just put on the headsets talk a little Bengals football weather sometime Price sound better than I did. Now. She's panicking. She thought he had any fees were low maintenance. Now we say you're going to do what you're going to put me on the air. I didn't sign up for any of this stuff. We'll go have a beer, and that's right. Look on the headset. That's an even better idea. Just let her do this segment by herself. It might be better pick back and have a beer. You can have a white cloth will be good to go. There you go. You I heard you earlier this week. You've got all wound up about this and Defensive player. I'm not shocked. Explain your stance and it is. I watch it and I rolled my eyes, sometimes at at the decisions that are made explain your stance on the targeting rule in college football and the impact it is having on games, right? So let me first start off by saying I am not advocating for going back to you know, the sown ages were there was vicious hits crawling out there, right? I'm not saying That should go on. I think a lot has been done to make the game safer, which is good for college players, and it's good for youth players. I think there's so much good that has been done because that emphasis, however. I think how punitive penalties are at the college level with some of these targeting roles. I think it's very unfair. I'm speaking mainly to the ones where you throw a guy out of a game, I think and I if you listen to me call a college football game. I said this for years intent Needs to be a part of the conversation. Did the player the defensive player person who committed the target? They intend to hurt the other player. Was it malicious? Okay? And you say, Oh, well, intent that can be judged. Bullcrap, referees, judge intent. All the time. Was that pass interfere? What was passing appearance to one rap is not to another What's attached to one referee? Is not to another so that subjective nature happens all the time in football, and I think it needs to happen here. I just think, Lance, it's terrible when you see a player and you can tell That they're trying to do the right thing. They're trying to lower their target. And But the last men the running back who's coming through the hole in the box? Who's not defenseless, lowers his head? Natural and indications. Lower your head even more. So it means you bend the knees, which means you present the crown of the head. And now there's no fault of your own through no malicious nature. You gotta sit out of the game and For a kid to be thrown out of the game who practices but off all week and did all the things and is out there playing hard and he's not trying to hurt anybody for him to lose a whole entire game. I think it's unfair. Yeah, I would agree with you on the menu. You can that There are instances where you see well, that guy just sized him up and just wanted to just delivering a knockout. And there's no I would agree out on that one. But there is it can't be at all or nothing. There has to be a gray area in this case to be determined by the officials who say our decision is and you go from there, get them together, and we have a million angles of play anymore. Get him together him talk about it. And I mean there was I mean, there was probably You know, six targeting this whole last weekend, but I thought were question Mark. Couple of them happened in the old Miss game, and I'm doing the Miami United State game in Miami's best safety won the best cities in the country's names, Bubble, Bolden. Right at the end of the I guess it was the second quarter first in the first quarter, he comes and he's ready to hit this guy and they're running back goes down. So he kind of like stops his feet and naturally kind of bends down, and I said his helmet top of his crown hits the crown of the running back, and he's sure another game and it's like any but there's not a person in America that would say he was coming.

"Be here to begin our at least an 18 week run. At kind of around the three locations. Very excited. Jacket H. M s a very cool place to get an excellent patio outside and a lot of room inside a ton of TV. These Adeline bar that is a killer bar over there. So thanks to long next for having us and we're excited about what is ahead. All this is presented. By your Cincinnati northern Kentucky Honda dealers and it has brought to you in part by Hawksworth Blood Centers. Hawksworth donors save lives. Who will you save? I'm lions McAllister. He is Rocky boy. When we laid out some of the things we are optimistic about. I'm excited about what about rock Some of the things we are a bit may be concerned about or reserving judgment till we see further evidence to relieve any building angst we might have. Okay, so you might have heard this team has had an issue with the offensive line in the last. Really? Yeah. Rumors. 56 years. Yeah. So I feel fairly comfortable with the frontline guys, right? I think, you know. Add and Riley Reef. Is an upgrade. I think Joan Williams will play better in the second year. Trey Hopkins. I think we know what he can do. But depth. Lance where is the death on this offensive line? You look at Isaiah Prince who's a backup tackle. Two years of experience. Deontay Smith, Backup guard rookie Trey Hill, Rookie Jackson Carmen rookie Fred Johnson. Two years of experience, so Inevitably, once the last time any often in the offensive line in the NFL went an entire now 17 games without an injury or 10, right. So what happens when Deontay Smith or Isaiah Printers. You know, some of these guys that don't have a ton of experience have to come in. That's a huge question. In my opinion, no doubt I was talking with Jay Morrison from the athletic last night about that very issue, and he said they they like the young guys the rookies, but It's one thing to like it. It's going to ask him to step in right away, says if it's later in the season if an injury happens, you know week 10 11 12 when they've got some reps under their belt, and there, they get their feet under them. That's one thing. If something goes haywire with somebody early, this might be. I mean those names. You just reeled off for the twos and the lack of experience. It might be the least experienced backup set of offensive lineman in the NFL and three rookies. It's gotta be. It's gotta be. So that is a major issue as far as I'm concerned, and we shall see what about you? Well, let me let me finish off an offensive line because Jackson Carmen to me. He's going to be the guy who we watched through the prison mob what they opted to do to getting trading down. We knew all the names, whether it's Kevin Jenkins and granted. He's out now, maybe for the season with an injury. But there was the Liam Eichenberger your guy at Notre Dame. There was Walker Little Sam, cause me a whole bunch of offensive linemen and the Bengals it at 38 opted to get out of that down to 46 that opened themselves up for Are you sure you know what you're doing? I know they got two extra picks, and Tyler Shelvin and Deontay Smith. You hope for them in the future, But maybe you took a you took a roll of the dice on somebody who was a tackle. You're now asking to play guard and somebody was coming off back surgery on a team that just screamed out in need of an offense. Offensive line help! They have exposed themselves a little bit here. They better have hit on Jackson Coroner have nailed that. And let's be honest. The early returns are not good October himself who has never wanted to throw anybody in the bus, said Look, the guy came in kind of out of shape, and you know that sort of thing would look, it's tough enough transition from tackle to guard right for a rookie, but it's even tougher when you come in. And maybe you're a little bit out of shape and you're not don't look quite as dedicated. So that's you're right. That is a decision that's going to be looked at, like every week for the next three or four years. No doubt about it. I'll give you another one. That is, I'm kind of holding back on it. It's a slight concern until it's removed. And that's Jamaar Chase. And now there's a whole bunch of silly stuff going on a pro football talk is Is trying to take his comments out of context to say he can't catch the ball because the college football's are smaller and there's no stripes on the end of the NFL footballs. It's not what to believe there. I just know this. He's clearly experiencing drops to this point, and if you're wide receiver, the key element is holding on to the football and I just hope it's something that's not more up here now boarding to my head. That kind of grows with more evidence presented in week one if he drops another one. Ideally, you'd like him to make a big play on the opening drive of the game, and everybody goes who, man? That's the guy we drafted. But right now there's no you can't just explain away and say, Don't worry about it because it's been the story of the entire camp. He keeps dropping the football. It would be one thing. Look, sometimes guys have a game where they just can't catch the ball. But it's been oh, th has been camped. It's been scrimmages. It's been in the preseason games, so certainly an issue and it's certainly in his head. I mean, the guys tried a million footballs in his life. The only thing that's different right now is Is the fact that maybe inside his head and he's thinking about it, and that's a hard thing sometimes to overcome. Tell me how significant this is, and I'm not presenting it as an excuse, but we know he didn't play last season. Right, so he's shaking off that rust. Plus, he's trying to get up to speed at a speed he's never experienced before, if he were coming back to get up to college speed to be one thing. He's coming back after a year in trying to ramp up to the NFL game. At the speed of that game. There's got to be something to that adjustment of having played at one speed you as a rookie, probably said who this game's fast right? Well, it is and I always uses example by the only way to get good at something in life is to do it and to continually do it, not repetition, while And then take time off and do it again again, You know not to blow smoke up you but you are great at radio because you do it over and over and over. I don't know about you. But if I take a week of vacation off the first day I come back on radio, and I'm like God, you're a little bit out of whack right? So he takes a whole year off of football. So now he's trying to make up for that. Now he's inside his own head, and he's got everybody down him and all that sort of thing. So The only way this gets resolved is what you just said a big moment in the game, and that's where you would love to see. Joe Burrow have confidence in him on a big third and seven, right, right. In the third quarter, something like that, and boom, He constantly goes to Jamaar Chase. He catches it, and then that can be eliminated. Like just like that, Yes, but if it keeps going, it makes it harder and harder to come back from in my experience. Can I give you another one? Another concern and this is more coaching staff related. I was looking at the game notes today. This team has got to be able to figure out a way to finish off games and win close games. Let me give you some numbers Rock. You know, I'm a numbers guy. Yeah. In Zach Taylor's time here in games decided by three points or fewer. This team is 06 and one In games designed by three or fewer 06 and one in games decided by seven points or fewer. Zach Taylor's Bengals are 1 12 and one when they've led at the half 12 Times. They've only won four of those when they've led after three quarters 11 times. They don't want 15 of them Rock. I'm making the case right now, and that's coaching. You can argue, but guys got to make place. You've got to put you guys in position to make plays and this team's got to win close games and they got to finish off games or they're not going. Take the next step They have to take. What's the number? One thing everyone had against Marvin Lewis. The adjustments right? In game halftime in between drives, although everything and those numbers kind of indicate the same thing going on here, right that this is a chess match is going back and forth come into the game and you have your game plan. And guess what? First snap of the game. You may say we're going to throw this out because it's not working or we come out in the third quarter. We think they're going to do this, but they do that. It's just a constant. How quickly can you Can you adjust from that? And this appears to be from those numbers of team. That's not doing that well, and there's winnable games there. Three point yes, and and I don't have the statin front. But I've seen one of Alabama, Alabama, Alabama, but it's like when they have a lead at halftime..

"Podcast Live preview show tomorrow to you Name it. They're doing it. Let's welcome in J. Morrison J. How are you? Lance, I'm great. How are you? I am well, It is great to hear your voice. That means we're ready to talk Bengals football in the season. Let me let me ask the $64,000 question. It was discussed on your here that podcast Grouchland. How will success be defined for this Bengals team in 2021? Um, well, obviously winds are going to be a big part of that. But I think even more so than that it's going to be ascension. Your You want to see this team getting better as the season goes along if If they finish in that range where I think a lot of people expect them to be in that, you know, 678 you know the Vegas line 6.5. So if you use that as a baseline, but they're 89 and They're winning games against good teams in December. You feel a lot better about the direction the team is headed, as opposed to If they take advantage of what looks like a week scheduled to start the season and get off to a hot start and kind of Peter out of season goes along, then maybe you're scratching your head and wondering if a change needs to be there, So I don't think the wind total is Is the end all to that question. The end all answer to that question. I think it's are they ascending as they go into December J. Is it safe to say that that offensive line had better stay healthy? Well, you would think early for sure. Now they they've got they've got three rookies on there, and they they are high on all of them, and There is a chance that That those guys could be starting games at some point this year. Due to performance due to due to their ascension, not necessarily an injury. But yes, if in sometime in September even early October. If they've got offensive lineman going down, and you're throwing guys in there with no experience, like I said, you've got three rookies. You got Isaiah Prince who's played 47 snaps in the NFL. They get Fred Johnson left seven starts. Those are your back and said that doesn't lead a lot of confidence. But again, they just because those rookies don't have experience doesn't mean they aren't high on him. It's just you don't want to put him in there quite yet. That's why they they tried to give Jackson Carmen was starting job and he couldn't do it. It doesn't mean he won't do it. Some point this season. But yet if anything goes wrong early, it could be really dicey. You wrote about Jamaar Chase and the drops this week. Excellent piece, the athletic dot com Um, it's certainly not just him. There have been other rookie receivers who've had issues. Even Bengals. Rookie wide receivers had issues. What do you make of all this going on with Jamaar Chase? It's really hard to tell, Um I think he's being honest. I think it is a lack of focus, the lack of concentration and you know, he said. He didn't want to make excuses, and then he laid a few of them out there. But the most noteworthy, I think, is what he said, sitting on his butt all of last year and I didn't sit on his. But he was working out and getting ready for the draft, But he wasn't playing football. And But I just think that it's hard enough for these guys to adjust to to this next level coming off of the college football season coming off of a year where they sat out. I mean, don't forget the whole debate was him and peninsula and Tanisha was really struggled from all reports in Detroit, Detroit. He didn't play. Last year, either. I think that's we're seeing guys that opted out of 20 twenties college football season really kind of getting off to a slow start. It's curious that this issue was dropped because he's never had that problem before, But I think it's a somewhat of a concern right now. I don't think this is going to be something we're talking about two months from now. Right. You have to wonder how much confidence Joe Burrow hasn't thrown to that guy across the middle on a key third down if the ball goes off his hands, and it turns into interception. I mean, that can that can be a game defining place. It's gonna be really interesting to see how they Get him immersed in the offense. If it's a lot more of those easy little screens that we saw in Tampa preseason game and the one they tried to throw to him that he dropped in the Miami preseason game. Jay Morrison checking in from the athletic talking Bengals, as much as borough in the receivers are talked about and rightfully so. What kind of impact can a healthy and a productive Joe Mixon have on all of this? Oh, it's huge. You know Paul Boehner and I, He covers the team with me for the athletic. We've been canvassing players and coaches and just the other media members who we think is poised for a breakout year this year, and that could be a key player out leading to a B player. Give you an A going to an A plus. My pick is Joe Mixon. He just has obviously in training tip. They're not tackling. They're not taking the ground, but he he just looks different. He looks bigger, stronger faster. We saw him lead the lead the FC and rushing in 2018 when he didn't have a very good offensive line. He still doesn't have a great offensive line, but I think it's better than it was that year. The addition of Frank Pollack, who was lying coach in 2018. When Joe did leave the office and rushing his back. Um I just I think he's the guy that we are really going to be talking about for most of this season, so much attention is on thorough and the receivers, but I think Joe is going to be the engine that drives this. Joe Mixon is going to the engine driving this offense, and I'm predicting a career high in rushing yards in receiving yards for that guy. How about that? Let me flip the script to the defense. What? What? What part of the defense should fans be most optimistic about seeing improvement from from a year ago in your mind?.

"Here work. You're a bengals along with jay morrison as they cover the bengals all season long quickly. Here a breakout candidates. I didn't johnny. Williams is at the top of that list. If he's if he's indeed the best lyman from that draft a couple of years ago. He's got to stay healthy. Obviously to me if we're talking about Breakout candidates in two thousand twenty. One he is at the top of that list. Yeah i would agree. I mean in. That's a name that has been used to me a lot when when kinda asking around about this. you know. it's funny. I as i asked around really the same two names i mean. This is kind of taking borough out of the equation. We we obviously know the possibility of him. As a breakout candidate t higgins. I just. I can't stated enough six thousand to lead the league in receiving yards. I don't know if he'll lead the league in receiving yards. But you know. I do think i don't think pro bowl is out of the question for this year i just. I don't think people talk enough. About how good he can be this year. And i think that's very. I tried to reflect that in my wide receiver stats. I think guys going cross twelve hundred yards. Catch a ton of ball's gonna you. You're gonna catch a ton down the field. I think you're gonna see a lot from him. And then who i mentioned earlier was logan wilson. They've been so impressed. By the way the linebackers and logan in particular are covering that short middle. Where in the past. It was just a lot harder to squeeze balls in there to do quick stuff in the league. Rpo's and quick hits all that stuff linebackers. Who are that much tired coverage tighter windows. Maybe stepping in front of a couple can make a huge difference. I think. Logan wilson t higgins at the end of the year. We're talking about as the guys that really took the biggest jumps of anybody. And i'd have johnny williams not far behind. Yeah all right. Very good Thursday night seven o'clock for folks who are with us at the beginning. What's going to be happening at a fifty west. We're him hanging out drinking. The season will be we're gonna be recording in actual podcast event for the first forty five minutes or so and then We will Just take some cuny from fans afterwards right up until the start of bucks in cowboys at eight twenty so to show at ten o'clock we'll be given away athletic subscription optimistic. Bobby bobby the. Us will be there so you can always try to convince him to give away some free beer. He's pretty easy to get away with. So there'd be. There's lots of good stuff going this year. I'm really excited to see how tried to reins in his own prediction. All of all of that. It's going to be a lot of fun. You'll be there myself jay. I'm really looking forward to. It's going to be a good time. I'll see they're looking forward to it as well. Yep all right read paul. The athletic dot com or bengals ahead. "But Drew Chrisman from Ohio State. Local kid played his high school ball here sign is an undrafted free agent in the wake of the draft. The most intriguing draft pick, though to me, and I know your what your column said today Joseph Asai and Round three. I don't know why, but I landed on big 12 games a lot this past fall. He's a little light. I think there he's gonna put some weight on. But this kid his motor is always third gear He just brings it brings it brings it and he can come inside or outside Texas used them inside her outside. I know this is all life moving, moving on with edge rush with this with this team, but I think I don't go sigh of all the ones that were drafted before we got into Let's you know, Let's see what we can get in around six and seven of all the players who were drafted, he intrigues me the most because I know his backstory from Nigeria to the United States, Hey, has always played hungry and they always I mean, the Texas coaches were just floored when they got him in there as to what he had. In terms of power and speed. I kind of think he may be the diamond in the rough here. What about you? Yeah, really. I agree with you. I would not have been surprised that they've taken him in the second round. We know we've lied enough to draft we do all these marks and you try to play it out. All the different ways and he was always sitting there as a consideration for me is I know, defensive defensive end wasn't as big of a needed a zoo, offensive lineman and what receiver but it just felt like He could be a real possibility in the second round. So when he was there in the third round, that was that was a no brainer. When you look at those Friday pics, and if someone said they took Joseph Asai and Jackson Carmen, you would Not just assume that it was a sigh in the second of Carmen and third, but they took him to me up the opposite order. And I do have his motor and encamp sample the defensive end of the fourth round the same reports on him just nonstop. Go, go, go and Huge need yet Drescher's and getting them going back to back. That's one of their classic move. They love to do the double dip it a position and a given draft, and they did it again this year. Yes, sample be interesting at a great senior bowl week, and I guess that really is where his stock rose. Hey, Jake. Good stuff really is always I get. I don't get a nickel for saying this. I pay money to subscribe to the athletic. It's It's the best. Investment in sports and stay well. "But delete. I didn't mean to do that. Either way it has led to discussions about Wait a minute. The Bengals were gonna introduce new uniforms soon. Are they going to go ahead? Hey, You know, the Bangles Saturday night were very vocal in tweeting at the NFL, Like kind of appalled You left 10 Riley out of your remembrance of players, legends that we lost over the past year. Are the Bangles really ready? And at the moment where they're going to pull the trigger on a ring of honor? And perhaps from a timing standpoint, timing is everything. This would be the 40th anniversary of their first Super Bowl appearance in 1981. So I thought for tonight. I'll play along. Let's assume a ring of honor is coming. I have two questions for you. You ready? One. Which for individuals make up the inaugural class. Why four? Well, that's my number. And I'm leading this discussion. So for the only reason I say for is two on each side of the stadium one on each side of the If you're looking, you're standing at midfield. You look one way you see one off to the left one off to the right. You turn around you look one up to the left one up to the right total of four in the inaugural class. So one which for individuals? Would make up the inaugural class of the Bengals Hall of Fame and to Who should decide Who those individuals are. So let's get to work on that. That'll be part of our discussion Early. I was kicking this around with Austin Austin Elmore running the show on the other side tonight, and I would say simply from a who decides standpoint, I jotted down the following names. It would clearly be an online component to this. You're going to drive traffic to Bengals calm. You're not gonna miss on that opportunity s so there's gonna be a chance to vote. We can debate how much weight is carried by the fan vote, But my panel That will meet and discuss would include Dan Horde. It would include Jeff Hobson. It would include Mike Brown. It would include Chick Ludwig. It would include John Popovich. And that's five. I probably then add the current Bangles beat writers I go Po dinner, Junior and Jay Morrison from the athletic. I go, Tyler Dragon of the Enquirer. I go Ben baby of ESPN dot com. I go Richard Skinner of local 12 My missing Anybody on the beat. I feel bad if I'm missing somebody just off the top of my head, but I include Oh, don't tell James Yes, James or pain as I dot com s. Oh, that's five. 6789 10. That's 11. All right, so that's it, But that's those air, like the minor details work on of greater significance. Who are you putting in your inaugural class of four? I have a sheet of paper. It's blank. And I'm going to keep a running total for as long as we do this, So, uh, plot out your four and give me a call It 5137491 7800 the big one and pounds 700 on 18 tea. I'll see what the tote board looks like. At the end of the night of Who? Our inaugural class. I can't say inaugural, who are first class of four Will be for the Ring of honor, because I find it hard to believe I could believe that. But somebody in the Bengal social media accidentally tweeted it. I guess boy, are they in trouble? But I could really understand the value of tweeting it, deleting it and creating the firestorm of conversation. And then the weight and the weight and the weight and then you drop in on everybody and say we're doing it. Goes Rick of either, were you so let's work on our four The first thought that came to mind is what I ask Austin. What do you do with Paul Brown? Because I've heard that I've heard the conversation over the last 24 hours. Yea nay nay, being the stadium's named after him. Don't put him in the clad the ring of honor, or don't put him in the inaugural class of four. I would lean against that. His name may be on the stadium. How do you do it? Let's be honest. How do you do A ring of honor honoring the history of your franchise and the greats and not name Paul Brown. To your ring of honor..

And Yeah, so, uh, Not a star studded group, but Chad Pennington and marked Boulder head You know, decent careers among those Brady six so and who do you like tomorrow? I like the Buccaneers, I say. Never bet against Tom Brady never bet against a Super Bowl rematch. The Chiefs won the regular season game. It seems like when he's he's rematch is happening. The Super Bowl, the team that lost the regular season. Ends Come up, turn around and win the Super Bowl. I just I think it's going to be a classic. I actually for our for the athletic. I picked it to go to overtime. I think fucking years 37 Chiefs 31. That would be incredible and Yeah, I'm rude for the Chiefs because I'm an old fl guy. "But it seems you're gonna want to know the answers why they did what they did. You. You had a chance. Talk with Zach Taylor did anything specifically catch your ear during that conversation? Um, not so much. It's hard because they're so early in the process and even said he's like everybody wants to know what we're gonna do it. We don't know we're going to do there's there's so many things that can play out. Um and they're behind anyhow, because the first week after the season ends there going over the current roster and who's coming back and can evaluate what they have the next week. Get rid of some coaches, and they had to go through a whole bunch of coaching interviews and trying to figure out how they're gonna feel after staff in the week after that, they took some time off. So they were really just now diving into this, but I did think it was interesting. Both he and Brian Callahan were sitting In the end zone seats rather than up in the suite, where most of the team personnel was for all the teams on day were right behind where the offensive line were, and they said, you know, don't really thing into that. We were solely focused on the offensive line, but they both really like watching offensive line play, And obviously this year. It means a little more than maybe in passengers. J. We're at this point what we're do you kind of sit on the idea of Addressing offensive line through the draft versus free agency versus maybe a little bit of both. Yeah. I think you got to do both. Uhm ideally find you that you're not necessarily going to find the first day like break the bank guy in free agency, but they need to come out of free agency with Of starting caliber tackle and guard and then you can you can maybe double down and get up in a school at number five and kind of work for the future. Or or maybe get some quality guys in that 3rd 4th in the mid round, but it needs to be focused Number one. They They cannot go into the draft without having added anybody and free agency and really pigeon them pigeon holing themselves in tow, having to draft a number of lineman in the draft, especially with that first pick J Does. Does the William Jackson Curl Lawson scenario feel like one or the other? Or would there is there a scenario where you could see him finding a way to keep both? Um yes, I could see him keeping both. I think financially they could make it work. They are number six and cap space available and that will only go up if they make a decision on Gino sooner rather than later. The issue here is that The those guys want to test the market. They want to see what they're worth is there. They're not gonna Look at the what the Bangles offer them before the newly year begins in the middle of March and signed before they hear from any other teams. And I think Somebody's going to throw a lot of money at one of those guys, and I think the Bangles. I believe them when they say they want both of them back, But I don't think it's at any cost. I think they have their price. And if someone goes over, they're gonna let them go. For that reason, I think I think William Jackson is most likely to get get one of those break the bank kind of offers knowing what cornerbacks go for, and I think Carl Austin is the more likely retention and Willie Jackson. We plan for another team next year. The Senior Bowl game is tomorrow, as you mentioned is there Is there a name or two that Bengal fans should kind of if they're going to find themselves in front of the TV? Kind of look for and kind of follow tomorrow? Not necessarily a name. I do have a story coming up might have already just posted but on some intriguing prospects, but some things that keep in mind er that I think they're going to go after running back in the middle round. Geo's getting older they're gonna need a number two. Anderson is an intriguing guys that have had really good careers while still splitting carries in college, and I just means they're good, and they don't have a lot of tread on their tires on then the other thing is wide receivers who can also return puncher kicks. I think you're gonna be very valuable. Not saying that they're gonna let Alex Harris and go. If they could find someone a little more dynamic in the return game. I think that's something that would be attracted to him. You mentioned running backs. Might there be a running backs coach added in the near future. Yeah, that's that's the goal for this coming week. The leader in the clubhouse is Gary Brown. He's a nine year veteran. He worked in Dallas with Bill Callahan, who's Brian's dad. And he, Frank Pollack was also there with him. Frank was the assistant offensive line coach under Bill when, when Jerry Brown Candida Cowboys, and then when Frank took over, his lying so scary was still there and Gary Browns, running back has set career highs in six of the 11 years. He's been a joke to you. He's he's really gotten the most of the guys he's coached. He is Jay Morrison. He's on Twitter at J. Morrison a th hour highly recommend the podcast as well. They have. It's Ah, it's J and it's Paul. And you'll hear from Zach Taylor and Luanne a room own Brian Callahan and much more.

"Arguing is welcome back to another episode of escaping rei newbies. I'm your host. Chris bruce i wanna say thank you for tony game to today's show now every tuesday and friday we drop these episodes and today is going to be very very special woman but before we get into it. Make sure that if you haven't already subscribe to the podcast make sure you do Because once he's fresh off the press every tuesday friday. You will get notified of it all right now. What i'm gonna talk about today is how some things there are. Free in price are expensive in time. All right what. I mean by that. Is that same things that caused do nothing in price right. Nothing out of pocket can be a very expense on your time. all right so the other day At this event that i went to was caught thrive and Was in vegas this past weekend There metaphor fueled entrepreneurs at my absolution guy both me Very good events three of it. Different speakers on entrepreneurs big stores like tyler perez was speaking and do priscilla few other super big entrepreneurs will there and it was over fifteen hundred different people at this event majority obviously entrepreneurs and actually ran a few people that know me from all. I saw that the best in my training courses things like that and One guy specifically came to me. He was like man chris man. I'm a fan of yours of watch. A training course and i want to say that you know i wish i would have came across this earlier because i have wasted so much time Literally three years of my life going on youtube free videos rhino seminars. For free and a much as i can for those. That was doing things making mistakes and for three years. I didn't do any deals. Until i bought your course and i was able to short by learning curve in knows that way to make money. I was like wow as I love to hear stories like that I think for me. It was like man this is why is important to invest in yourself and investing in to a person a mentor if you can. Maybe it's investing training course just to get you that shorter learning curve because a lot of people are like. Oh well i would. I pay you when i go there. Mason for free on youtube. Where's the thing one. You're not gonna find a sack. Same information step by step by step by step by step along with everything. Repeat that you need with contract. That's not provided a youtube. There's going to be a lot of content videos and there might be a lot of different you know Strategy because even myself up all you but you can't ask a youtube video. Hey what do i do without just came back cloud up in a search on the go around me or whatever the case it'd be you can't ask these questions youtube. You can't go youtube. Yo say. I don i do this now. You may find some questions to send answers but you may come across the scenario. That has nothing to do with video on youtube. And you can't find it now. You're looking at all man. What am i gonna do right. Or what if seller ask you for a certain peo- f letter or something or or something that you know anything about and you're going to try to find it. You can't fight it right so yes. Youtube university is great. It's a great starting point to get out of basically and if you have a little bit najah roasted already. Youtube may be enough. But i know for most people that are star brandon real estate. You don't know much. Youtube is not going to be enough right. You need to have some type of support some somewhere. You ask the questions to an instructor or someone that is you know investor or someone that has experienced more than you do to really figure out the answers to the question and what you should do assert scenarios all right because yes you going to university for free ago out of training videos things like that but a lot of you going there you watch my video watch max maximo videos you watch videos you watch mart winds videos what jay morrison videos and now you're confused because we're all having the same type of information but maybe a different technical strategy and was happening that you're having so many different things that you're trying to learn in your mind is getting very confused and then you end up information overload okay and so that's why it's better focused follow ones course until successful and instead of being trying to be cheap or whatever save money invest in to that person to be your mentor invest in one of their programs get their training course you know most of them have money back guarantee so if you don't like it whatever you always refund it but you're gonna save so much more time right a lot of you you get their rich from my sales people when you're on the phone with some of for looking to get a mentor and when they come back to me tell me that you have invested Hardly anything you know into any programs or anything like that but you went to seminars and watch youtube videos but three or four years five years and you haven't done a deal. I mean s because it's very expensive on your time to not invest money. So you you're not going to say any time trying to build for free. Are you going to run into a lot of pitfalls. that's why people end up leaving and quitting and trying to do something different or just give off completely in ceo Wannabe entrepreneur anymore because they went the free route. Okay so sometimes you can save money more importantly save time right by investing into a mentorship or training program. Okay so we are looking at things. Don't just look at the expense of the investment that you have making yourself look at the expense of the time that you will waste if you don't how many more weeks how many more months. How many more years do you want to continue on without doing deal. Seeing students saint testimony after testimony of other people that taking that risk investment themselves and may money. How many more than you need to see. How many more years do you want to waste time. Go by because every minute every day. You're wasting this is know time that you could have been that closer to quitting your job that closer to your retirement fund that closer to take your dream vacation net closer to be able to buy your dream house. Those days are the calendar. More you waste. So how much more days are you willing to give up. I mean let's say we don't have a crystal ball. We don't know.
