"Balance of power, a conversation with former Homeland Security secretary Jay Johnson on the release of Brittany griner. When I was general counsel of the Department of Defense, I was frequently involved usually on the margins in discussions over releases of Guantanamo detainees, exchanges, sometimes these are often conducted through the State Department, could be conducted through the Defense Department. We're hearing the intelligence community here. And the thing to remember about these types of situations, and many people will second guess exchanging Britney griner for a hardened, dangerous arms dealer who's in jail for a long time who was lawfully and rightly convicted of something. We have an American citizen who was imprisoned for a period of 9 years for something that wouldn't even be a crime in the United States. Should we hold against her the fact that the person on the other side of the equation was rightfully convicted for something very dangerous. I say no. And there are many considerations, foreign policy considerations, national security considerations. It's a multi dimensional context. So it's difficult to second guess this. And Americans specifically in members of Congress, I should hesitate to second guess this type of diplomacy. Is this a matter of national security or humanitarian concerns? I would say, David, all of the above. Russia, of course, is in the midst of its illegal war in Ukraine. In how we view that situation from the national security perspective, the fact that the Russians have Brittany griner is no longer part of that equation. So in that respect, enhances our national security picture

"That was violent on January 6th at all. Correct. And there are polls that show that a majority of Republicans believe that somehow the election was stolen. And David, you don't get those points of view from reading mainstream media from reading USA Today, for example. I think social media has a lot to do with this. I probably said that a year ago when I was on your show right after January 6th and Americans increasingly are allowed to become effectively unhinged from reality in their views and in their views of the facts. You know, in addition to the numbers you just cited, I saw Paul recently that 15%, 15%, which is one in 6 Americans now ascribed to the QAnon theory that our government our media, financial services are controlled by Satan worshiping pedophiles. One out of 6 Americans. That is an alarming fact and a really, really dangerous number that should have us all concerned about the very fabric of our democracy and our institutions in this country. Mister secretary, as you said, when you were on just after January 6th last year, we talked about the role of social media. And you suggested there was a real responsibility there. At the same time, that was just about the time that the former president Trump and others were being banned, for example, Twitter. Have we made progress in social media in the last year? I believe that the larger platforms are taking steps to try to address this problem. But the problem with the problem, so to speak, is that it's in many respects like chasing shadows. If someone's banned from one platform, they can find another that will that will. With three bright minds thinking of questions. How far apart are the two Americas right now? Critics are accusing Republican governors from border states of using those who cross into the country illegally as political pawns with their public surprise relocation program. Mary Eric Adams speaking today on ABC's this week. Let's coordinate in that fashion. Like we've done with others large other large communities we have in New York City where we're able to coordinate get sponsors, work with our non government organizations. That is what crisis calls for. Jay Johnson, who served as Homeland Security secretary in the Obama administration, says the border crisis will not improve if the political atmosphere remains as is. Johnson says there needs to be coordination and cooperation to relocate migrants humanely by giving local organizations notice so they are able to have a plan in place when people arrive. Politics currently are such that politicians elected officials find it more advantageous to simply scream at the other side and complain about how evil or lacks the other side is, it does take political courage to come together and put together legislation on comprehensive immigration reform. Gallup Poll: 78% of Democrats Believe Russian Interference 'Changed the Outcome of the Election' in 2016

"According to Gallup, 78% of Democrats believe the Russian interference changed the outcome of the 2016 election. I repeat. 78% of Democrats, according to Gallup, not conservative, according to gallop. Arguably the most respected, polling organization in the country, 78% of Democrats believe that the election that the Russian interference changed the outcome of the election. According to a YouGov poll, also respected 66% of Democrats believe the Russians changed vote tallies in order for Donald Trump to win. Never mind, Jay Johnson, Obama's secretary of Homeland Security, said we don't see any evidence. That the Russians changed a single vote tally. So I should ask in that context whether you can assure the country based on what you saw that night and your analysis since that Russian hacking did not affect the outcome of the election. Are you confident of that? Well, we see no evidence that hacking by any actor altered the ballot count or any cyber actions that deprived people of voting. Not a single vote tally changed.

"This morning. We are marking twenty years since the september eleven tax on this country this picture captures the moment. President george w bush was informed. That america was under attack. Is chief of staff. Andy card interrupted the president's visit at an elementary school classroom florida. To tell him a second plane had crashed into the twin towers in new york and indycar joins us now along with former secretary of homeland security under president obama. Jay johnson. Gentlemen good morning. It's great to have you with us. let me start with you andy. What is it like to be sitting here now. Twenty years later. I said at the top of the show. It never gets any less powerful to be here to look down into that literally. Twenty years ago was the last day that america people woke up with no fear september. Eleventh two thousand one did what the terrorists wanted to do. Which fear is their ally. Fear is the mode of operation. They attacked us to try to have us be so afraid that we would collapse. Instead it was a unifying moment very very sad. But american had all of its people giving up the labels of the past republicans and democrats. They said they were america. We said we will not let fear drive the way we do. Our business and so it changed. The world has changed america but september tenth. Two thousand and one was a day when we woke up. Happy hour no. Fear went to work. Some people who are getting ready to take trips from boston to los angeles from newark effort dulles airport and everything changed on september eleventh and a message i delivered to the president that day i knew was a historic message. I didn't wanna have to deliver it. He shouldn't shortly did not want to hear. And you said that that was to be an easy day for the president in the life of a president it was he was. He was doing reading exercise. Second graders in sarasota florida tickets through a little bit. If you can what happened. You were informed that a plane when he went into the room had hit the first building the first reports and we all remember it was. It was a small plane. We couldn't have imagined what it was going to be. What happened from there. If i was standing at the door to the classroom. The principal in the president had already gone into the classroom with the president believing that a small twin engine prop plane hit one of the towers at the world trade center in new york city when the doors shut after the principal and the president walked into the classroom standing there at a navy captain. Deb lower the from the situation room. Came up to me and said sir it appears it was not a small twin-engine prop plane. It was a commercial jetliner. I thought about the fear of the passengers on the plane must've had. I don't know why that's my mind went. But that's where went. That was a nanosecond because captain lower came up to me and said oh my god another plane at the other tower at the world trade center. I knew that it was not an accident. I knew it wasn't a coincidence. I knew that it was organized. Attack i actually reflected on the initials. ub l. some bin laden. And i knew about al qaeda renew about the attacks on the world trade center in early nineteen ninety-three and i decided to pass onto the present to facts. Make one at a tutorial comment and do nothing to invite a conversation with them. I news in front of a second graders in front of her press pool i presumed there will be a boom microphone over him and i didn't want to have a conversation with them. I stepped into the room. I thought about what i would say. And when the students were told the takeout the books to read with the president. That's what i went up to. The president leaned over and whispered into his right ear. A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack. I believe that my words than caused the president to reflect on his job no longer was pin the presidency about his agenda. It was about the oath of office. He took to preserve protect. Defend and i was very impressed with how we reacted when i told them he did. Nothing to introduce. Fear to those gone second graders. He didn't do anything to demonstrate. Fear to the media that would have translated to the satisfaction to the terrorists. So i was very impressed with how he reacted. He also stayed there long enough for me to get things ready for him when he walked back into that holding and then he made the republic remarks only after he finished with those kids secretary johnson. You had worked in the government working for a law firm up in midtown september eleventh. Two thousand one. What was your reaction when you heard the news again. It's not something most of us could have conceived of. It didn't seem possible commercial. Airliners at these buildings. I was one of those americans in private life that andy spoke of that morning. Nine eleven happens to be my birthday. And i remember vividly. I drove in from our home in new jersey out here. The weather was a lot like it is right now chris. Beautiful blue sky day. Got to work early in midtown manhattan. Same law firm. I'm with now. I was sitting at my desk and i heard somebody next door to me. Say a small plane hit the world trade center and from my office. I had a view down sixth avenue at this site right here. I can see it. And i thought to myself. That's not a small airplane and The moment i'll never forget was watching the first tower collapse because it had been as you know willie of permanent fixture on the new york city skyline for so long. I took family there. Two windows on the world and my son was three weeks old. I took him up to the observation..

"Be what it was i was doing. Yeah we said yeah. If if the audience doesn't remember every bonus show were. Bob was trying new art form. He acted like he was a video of log of entertainment. As opposed to a audio podcast. And that we could see him. They went from mime to juggling. And that was. That was a disaster because the bowling ball landed on your foot right with my dad. Bowling ball very happy. Strong men and my mom would have been out for the. I feel for the outfit. That would be the same exact. How the my mouth it but just change the letters across the chair. I tell you what it was. I would doing. That would be idea. No no i picked up on that. It was hilarious. Because you would say lease an would make the comment. You're wearing the same thing dad and you go. it's different. It says magic here right. Correct me. I like that part because the my real life. Well that was a great Consistent i think what was nice about the series was there were some threads of consistency and other words. You could not do any art forms correctly. You had the same outfit every time that you would change the name on it and then you always misspelled the name. Those were kind of the three consistent aspects of the stories right. Wanted to go out. Pretend like i was going out and buying equipment that the really couldn't or the podcast that was bayer and my side that i must not have the right equipment so i would go out and buy lights and i've math randy camera and audio south. Of course you know never work role. It was thousands of dollars just to make this work right right and it was so hilarious that you had the each week or each show episode. You had a new talent. You wanted to try out. And we mentioned lease and as co host but at the end we also had your lovely bride bernice join in and Lee sanan bernice. Were excited about helping out. I'm sure for me. I hate comedy but anyway well so we went from mind juggling and then you did magic and that was the one that was So exciting until you destroyed. Lee sands brand new apple watch. Actually did you watch for that by way. So but Yeah that was fun stuff. That i've seen in other magicians do and and everybody that watches people that do that. Kind of art always think. Look that hard. I could probably do that. You know we've all done that. You know that anybody do that and then you go to do it. You're right it is so stinking hard to do this right right. They have years of practice. They've rehearsed whether it's mime. Juggling magic tight rope walking ventriloquist them or clowning. We should mention all the various art forms. You tried But it's exactly true that you see people doing that and you think. Oh that can't be that hard will you don't realize they've got years of practice in rehearsal in experience so after magic This was the one that threw me. How did you come up with tight rope walking. You know i haven't i i. I was gonna be an acrobat. I thought well. I'll be acrobat. But it was such a long word to put on my chest. I decided walker. If i remember correctly you put wanker playing so tight rope. Walking was definitely experience only in that one ended with you having a terrible fall but what was interesting is while you're in the hospital with your mouth wired shut. You thought well. This is a perfect time to learn. Ventriloquist and i loved how you sequence those together. You know the segue that was. It was thought out. Well you know what better time to work out when he can't open your mouth and they all idea behind out when obviously that even with my mouth open. I was still so bad at it. You know it's not like a really tight who you can understand. Every single word is fan. I just wanted to be a guy goes well. We've worked with the best dave man. Jay johnson Willie toddler unless i mean you and i both have worked with really talented ventriloquist easy but you realize gosh so are because they're doing all comedy and you know just making easy that people are actually looking at the dummies now. Well i think what's interesting about. Ventriloquist is every child every person. Every adult at some point has tried to enunciate words without moving their lips after seeing ventriloquist thinking oh it looks easy and it's really really hard. Yeah i can barely announced they were moving my mouth and then we and then we ended up with the talk over you but we ended up with bob. Oh the clown yeah yeah. That's that's kind of how that whole thing. Because i think i would take it back to my roots Being in class crown. I although i think i said am i actually dressed up like a clown in school because i took it all the way. Well you don't want. It's funny about that bob of all these art forms. We're talking mime. Juggling magic tight rope walking controller quiz them. The one that i actually think is closest to your true personality. The one that. I think that if you wanted to you could have been is a clown because you do have a really outrageous sense of humor. You're very funny. Both verbally and physically So when you ended on the clown babo the cloud. I thought that was the.

Yes she has a lot of her she does have already honestly but this is great also for anyone with fine because he just literally vocal role is kind on the head. There's no heat and then also don't you call something like this. You can then brush the hair out right if you want something a little bit. "Airpods but it still works The you know a costumes were credited to eat at head. And she won the oscar but that was actually a controversial subject. Just real briefly There according to a book on head by jay johnson eat. It had actually did not really designed the costumes for this movie. She rather she was at universal at the time but she did a lot of speaking to the press and sort of telling stories about the film in the costumes without actually creating them. According to this book. The men's costumes were created by vincent de and peter sal duty who I think was the head of the cost. Department at universal and sell duty was one of his lieutenants. And like they all the costumes and eileen brennan costumes were selected from What was in stock at western costume by andrea. Weaver and so there was a little bit of consternation. When edith had won the oscar and didn't thank any of other people in her acceptance speech and she actually had to take out a full page ad in the trades. And thank people there but There was a little bit of bad blood so again. This is according to this one book. So it's possible that i'm wrong about some of this but I the that's you know the fascinating. The ins and outs of the industry at the time one of you talk a little bit about in your book and it was something. I enjoyed very much That maybe you can share with the listeners which was The montage sequences and allowing marvin hamlet of really shine with the score Because those sequences are so great. Yeah They are and one thing that i thought was so interesting and i didn't notice this until i read an interviewer marvin. Hamlet mentioned it but almost all the musical cues in. The film are not underscoring dialogue. They're almost all in the transitions between scene. S researchers examining the AstraZeneca vaccine suggests that it could be a good idea to wait longer between the two required vaccine shots. University of Oxford researchers say that that vaccine was 82% effective when there was a least a 12 week interval between the 1st and 2nd doses. The effectiveness drops to about 55% when that second dose is given. Less than six weeks after the first one, and there's new research into the Fizer and Madonna vaccines being administered in the US Those vaccines require two shots. But research at the University of Maryland suggests that people who have had covert and recovered may only need one shot. Researchers say People who've recovered from the illness already had achieved higher levels of antibodies and neutralization of the virus and 14 days compared to those who never had the illness. "Sebastian Gorka, This is 8. 60. Am the answer. This'll is America first with Sebastian Gorka, the crisis has begun. It is utterly illogical. If walls and fences and razor wire work in the nation's capital. What did they suddenly start work working on the southern border? These are the questions we're getting to the bottom of with our special guest. He's been a good friend off the show all along. Former Commissioner for Customs and Border Protection Mark Moore. Good newly He's landing at the Heritage Foundation imminently, and we're very happy for him. Mark. You were explained to us in the last segment, this migrant protection protocol and then we have to discuss title 42 to talk about the last nine months in American border protection and how it affected American citizens. It's the best thing. That's right. So MPP the remaining Mexico's immediate cause it that was the one policy that the president Trump gave us. That really allowed us in catch and release you know, between CBP and ice in 2019. We released about 500,000 illegal aliens in the United States by 2020 that are all but stopped. The boat had been reduced by 75%. The stroke of a pen President Biden as presented that program, But the only reason why the 2500 day that we're in carrying disability crisis is because of the title 42 under Cove. It allows us to stop these individuals at the border, process them and send them back to Mexico as a national health emergency issue. Exactly. This'd I was in the swamp long enough, but you were there much more recently than me. So help me out Mark the incoming president in some kind of I don't know. Petty revenge rescinded just four days or three days after President Trump signed it, the relax ation of travel from European countries. Yeah. And the U. K and certain African countries to America or it lifted the covert restrictions. Incomes abiding White House slams on those travel restrictions from countries like South Africa and are closest ally in Europe. The United Kingdom says No, you can't come in because of cove. It At the same time. That they cancel everything that you guys have been doing of meaning on the border. Whether it's that the construction of the wall whether it's the district detentions, so now we have these caravans coming thousands and thousands How is how is that not a covert threat greater than people arriving at Dulles Airport from London Heathrow. It's about clearly the question's rhetorical what you're spot on. Think about what I'm calling the caravans right now, our mobile cove in Petri dishes and then it just it in there once they get to the border of Mexico, US Porter there shoved in unsanitary, overcrowded stash houses for days and weeks. Tractor trailer it goes on and on and on. It's horrendous. And so what's happened now, with top of 42. That's the last remaining policy that really asked, you know, access that safeguard and gives CBP the ability, protect our borders because you were MPP. So once once we get another side of Potvin and Todd of 42 goes away that 2500 today becomes a crisis overnight. Remember it was, former Secretary Jay Johnson said of thousands of that day. That's about the only thing that I great with agreed with him on immigration front, but that's what we're looking at right now. Sebastian. It's unconscionable. We've seen the Internal emails Tucking Council has read them on his show when you want when you receive emails and CVP say, Release them now. What is the job of ice now? And what is the morale of those people who have had the tools given to them and then suddenly taken away? So that's a very key question again. I hope you're listening or paying particular attention this because the combine administration knows they can't just get rid of ice, right? That's not gonna happen, but what they've done with executive orders and then the White House driven The chest memo. It's been sent out. They basically taken all their enforcement authorities away. They not only the can't deport for 100 days, but actually the priorities now that they reinstated from the old Obama administration could give a quick example You have to be a convicted aggravated felon..

Biden introduces his choice for defense secretary, Lloyd Austin

"President elect Joe Biden once retired general Lloyd Austin to be his defense secretary, not A post he sought. I sought him. Austin would be the first African American to serve in the position. But could his nomination face some trouble in the Senate and joining us live from Capitol Hill? Double d. T. O p. S Mitchell Miller. Mitch General Austin is very well respected. So why are there questions about whether the Senate would confirm it? Well, Shawn and Hillary. It goes back to the history of the defense secretary being in a civilian position, and the so called seven year rule that if a military officer is tapped for that position, they need to have been retired from the military for at least that long. Austin retired four years ago after a distinguished military career of more than 40 years and included a major command in Iraq. Tenure is the head of the U. S. Central Command. But several lawmakers say it's important to maintain a civilian in that position. The ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, Rhode Island Jack Reed had given in on a waiver for General James Mattis under President. Trump said he wouldn't support one in the future. He is now wrestling with this. Others have said they'll oppose the waiver, including senators Elizabeth Warren Richard Blumenthal, who's on the Armed Services Committee and Jon Tester of Montana. But if the House and the Senate grant a waiver, which they both have to do, he'll likely still have plenty of votes to be confirmed. Hey, Mitch, who are the other potential candidates? Lawmakers might have preferred to Austin. Well, one of them would have been the first woman to serve as defense secretary Michelle Florida who's held various positions at the Pentagon and is very well respected. The House Armed Services Committee chair Adam Smith made it clear she was his first choice. Another candidate who had been talked about a lot was former Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson. "Hey welcome to in the thickness is a podcast politics race and culture from a POC. Perspective. HORSA and I'm Jerry Galloway. Rela. We have a very special guest joining us from Southern California Jacob Sobre. He's award winning journalist correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC and Hey a best selling author. Now, what's up Jacob? So good to be with you guys you know have wanted to do this for so long with you and I'm I'm just grateful to be here with you together I know he's a fan. He's a fan of in the thick fan. Yes. We love that we love fans of the pod so. We're going to be talking about an issue that you have called an American tragedy and this is the issue and the history of family. I don't even like that term because it's really families being ripped apart torn apart. In your new book separated inside an American tragedy you readers through a very intimate look into the policy into the families that have been torn apart and traumatized. You also talk to policymakers and government officials who ultimately were responsible for creating and really promoting this is stemmed separation of an estimated five, thousand, four hundred children from their parents at the hands of the government and I. Say. And still counting. Yeah and despite the fact that president trump signed an executive orders supposedly ending the policy of Charles Separations in two thousand eighteen, the ACLU alleges that there have been more than one thousand family separation since that executive order and more recently propublica reported on how the trump administration has used the corona virus as a pretext to circumvent the normal legal protections allowed to migrant children. So since March ice has circulated thousands of migrant children through hotel black sites making it virtually impossible for lawyers, family members and advocates to locate them and deported them in order to quote prevent the introduction of Covid nineteen into the US. Even though many of the deported children have tested negative for the virus. So Jacob here have reported on these issues for many many years. These policies you know predate trump. So before we get into the current iteration of this shit show, I wanNA talk about looking back into that history and actually. You great job of setting it and in a moment we'll talk about how it's touched of us. Really personally. But Jacob. From your perspective, talk to us about the origins of family separation and how the stage was being set for these policies way before trump entered the white. House. So yeah, you gotTa tell us how did we get here? Yeah. I think Maria. That what the trump administration did and we talked about ripping families apart family separation what to call this really what it was in the words of Physicians for human, rights and Nobel Peace Prize winning organization was torture at met the. Definition of torture according to the United. Nations it was government sanctioned child abuse according to the American Academy of Pediatrics and you know make no mistake. This is on the trump administration's hands. No administration in the history of the United States of America had ever attempted or done anything like this in a systematic way. But the fact that the trump administration was able to execute this policy was only possible because of decades of failed deterrent based immigration border policy by Democratic and Republican administrations. This will come as no news to you. But for people who don't know in one, thousand, nine, hundred, four, the Clinton administration put into place their border patrol a policy called prevention through deterrence. That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring record number of new border guards by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before by cracking down on illegal hiring, which was designed went along with the first wave of border infrastructure walls. Fences what have you and the idea was that by doing that people who are migrating to this country quote unquote illegally would have to go on more dangerous or deadly journeys to get here and sure enough you know many people have died trying I e let them die trying. Let them die trying. That's exactly right. After the Clinton administration. We had the Bush administration which obviously created H S and expanded the border patrol exponentially dozens of agencies charged with Homeland Security. Will now be located within one cabinet department. With the mandate and legal authority. To protect our people, the Obama Administration obviously deported more people than any other president ever no matter how they are. No matter their reasons. The eleven million who broke these laws should be held accountable and we got to this place where we had donald trump is president saying when Mexico census people, they're not sending their best they bringing drugs. Crime, their rapists, often not the pictures of Jay Johnson walk through the same facilities that I saw separated kids in and look yes. The Obama Administration Limited circumstances did separate parents and children from each other and the reason that they did it was circumstances where you had parents who were perhaps violent criminals or dealing a narcotrafficking but they never did on a systematic basis Jay Johnson? The Homeland Security Secretary, or Cecilia Munoz from the Domestic Policy Council. Bowl said to me on the record in my book we could never do. What the trump administration did it doesn't mean the idea wasn't proposed. It came up, it came up in the situation of the White House but they never did it and the minute Donald Trump became president. This idea was on the table right about a Valentine's Day meeting and twenty seventeen and the officer Kevin McLean then the acting commissioner of Customs and border. "President Obama's former homeland security secretary Jay Johnson talking about illegal aliens. Now, keep in mind again, this is not Trump's former homeland security secretary, it's not George W Bush's former secretary, it is Barack Obama's former homeland security secretary Jay Johnson. Listen to what he tells us about illegal aliens coming across the border, but it I mean he's under fire for the time being. How's he doing the s? Well, you know, I owned that problem for three years, Kevin was deputy Commissioner of CB P at the time. Border patrol. Yes. In Kevin's good, man. And I have a lot of faith in him. He's right. That what we faced in two thousand fourteen is a fraction of what we're seeing today. What happened all spiral? Well, that's good question. It's an excellent question, we had one hundred thousand apprehensions or encounters in the month of March another hundred thousand in the month of April. So highest it's been in twelve years into think of it, this way, that is the equivalent of the population of the city of Orlando, Florida showing up on our southern border in the course of two months that creates a crisis, and first of all, emanating from Central America traveling through Mexico along the Mexican side of the southern border. Okay. So the population of Orlando, Florida showed up at the border cross the border in last two months, and that's good. Good. Then. I loved it. I'm saying Obama, just secretaries pointing out this is a crisis and this is a crisis that we didn't have to deal with. And you notice they didn't have him on MSNBC or CNN to say that he's got to say it on FOX because they're the only ones we're getting to the truth out there. MSNBC. I don't I don't know. They don't want anybody to know that there's a real problem at the border. And some of these immigrants are actually coming from Manella knee, at I'll, I don't know if you're aware of that. Wow. All over probably a lot of them from a non the Jews even further. Of course, Mexico and, and Honduras Guatemala quite a trick. Yeah. It's a heck of a trick, but they're poor. They are pouring across that border in record numbers now. Getting some people are saying it might be the, the, the highest number of unique coming across the border in American history. Because some of the high number. Totals that we reached in the past, where from people repeat repeat offenders, people who came across the border, were deported, and just came right back. Deported. Again, came right back deported. Again came back all within the same month. These are all new people coming across the border. So it's it might be the most of all time. Time to do something about it now. No, no, no little Molin. It's great that this is happening. And if you don't believe that why do you hate the way you do? What a terrible Zena phobic person you are. And probably homophobic, too, and you probably in Islam before you probably have stereotypes your bag of tricks. Of course. Course. Right. By the way. With all this border nonsense going on. There are so many problems there and one of them is human trafficking. A lot of times it is human traffickers show up to claim the kids once they're coming out of the detention center. The unclaimed kids, the kids who are unaccompanied, a lot of times, the human traffickers show up and they take them. And what are you going to do? We don't know if that's their parents. We don't know who's related to them.
