"Understand the different limiting belief that they may have and how they can make those mental breakthrough to start, you know, living at life. They wanna. Live with the by one a half is I've been doing that. And that's been allowed me to also not just share my story. But also understand more about what other people are. You know, what they're looking for what type of struggles? Do they deal with? So I believe one of the biggest thing for me. This this tweet nineteen going into tweet twenty is just being able to make more impact is being able to you know, resonate with more people just being able to let people know the real side of fitness, and how really works, you know, in. So that they don't have to live their life a thinking that it has to be hard thinking that unattainable when it really isn't. And that's my biggest thing I want to be transparent to let people know. Hey, listen, I understand what you are. And you don't have to stay there. If you don't want to and I just wanna give them a vehicle to help go out. And accomplish the results they want accomplishing just live live. What's your favorite book? Do you have a favorite book that you'd recommend anybody listening, man? I got a ton of hobby right now. Oh, yes. Took in my language. I believe one of my books, that's really changed my life because a few years ago. I was I was in network marketing company, and I got pretty big in the company is about twenty two years old making six figures in the company went backwards in one on one of the calls with the network marketing company talking about this this book called the ten x rule by grant card on in bought the book, but years had went past that never read it. But it wasn't until I went broke. Read the book, I was laying on my couch, Wendy, and I was like I just need to start doing something. So I started to focus on developing myself again it is figuring out who I was in. When I read the next rule rulebook by grant card down. It really stretched my mind is stretched my thought process on how much ACA really be doing. It was like how much are really leaving on the table right now. How much more could be doing than what I'm doing right now. When I started think about those things I just went out into a massive action. I mean, that's the truth to being able to live in your passionate in in just accomplish what you want to accomplish just taking massive action. And I hit some bumps in the road is out take massive action. You know, I I was I lost money. I lost, you know, sleep. But I learned so much through the process. You know, a aloe also learned that we don't learn as much from our successes as we do our failures. And the more action, you take the more you're gonna learn because you're gonna have a lot of failures, and that's been able to get to wear them. Now be able to inspire and help people because you know, I learned from those failures for sure. I wanna get you on again. And we'll talk about the dog times and having to go through struggle because I believe that's again, another great way of showing being on us and try being transparent. So would definitely like to get you on again and talk about that. Where would where can people get hold of Jay Jackson? And let's say, you know, they wanna stop following on Instagram. Do you have a website are you on Facebook? Yes. Yes. If they wanna follow me. One of the best place would be answer Graham, j Jackson.

"Have. You got continue to drop your body fat in just doing strength training. That's gonna get your metabolism revved up cardio won't increase metabolism and eating intrusion metabolism. Neither is so strong training is important to do that. And just doing a little bit of cardio doesn't have to be a ton or boatload of cardio, but their hopes condition, not just your body, but also you heart so everything just have to have an overall quality of life. You have to have that balance between having a good relationship with food with cardio exercise in. So once you do that developed Sala routines. That's how you'll be able to -ccomplish that physique. As a stain it. You just gave them the blueprint now gonna leave that right there. I want to ask you another question really quickly. What does Jay Jackson define? How does he define persistence? One more time. How does Jay Jackson define persistence because that's what this show is about is about the persistent man is about the persistent woman. That's attain in on the roads going towards they're going. I was believed when you're going to go you go move closer towards you become this magnetic force. And you know, you have to be going after a was you go to so describe persistence. What does Jay Jackson? How does he define persistence? You're living. That is that's great. As a nominal question. Man. I feel like man, I love you podcast. Just for saying that that question is huge. Because I don't think a lot of people understand how big that word is persistence because everyone's looking at all these different options there so much shiny objects out there nowadays. But the only way people are truly going to be able to accomplish what they want in life is figuring out that one thing that they want to accomplish in focus in just avoid everything else. Just be laser being over on that one thing that they want to do whatever they want to impacting whatever they want to be known for once. They figure out what that is. Don't think about anything else. You know of your more starts talking about e com. You're trying to do something else. You can't listen them. All you know, you gotta be persistent. In what you wanna do end. My whole my whole dot on on persistence is you gotta stay the course every single day. You know, issue be on your mind every single day, whatever you want to accomplish it can't leave your mind. You have to do something every single day that's going allow you to move forward. It doesn't have to be a big win. It could be a small win. But it it has it is something that can't leave your mind. It has to be something that you'd live. He has to be any has to be that that that one thing that you can't go day without talking about in once you figure out what that one thing is don't go day without talking about like, even if people say may, I don't feel I talked about that. You don't wanna be around that type of person very long because it's gonna drain your energy because that's gonna is gonna take you away from being persistent in things that you should be sharing. That's your calling in once you figure out what it is mad dog. Close your mouth about it. That's that's why Mabel to post every day because I know what it is. I wanna do. I wanna go out and serve and help people in create that belief in them in a spire them to go out and take action transforming labs. So when you transition from this, well, j what would you wanna be best known for? Man. I would I would want to be known for being able to let people know, it's okay to be honest. It's okay to allow people to, you know, see who you really are you know in. So that you can go.

"That's why these pro athletes, they do these ice, baths and different things like that. Because the lousy with body to recover, you know, and says getting uncomfortable. Nothing nothing great is gonna lie in Eubank in Addison man is so hard to explain that the people I try not to be the the the Gary v just go do it just you gotta do try to try to resonate with people from where they are. But in reality, you're gonna have to get uncomfortable. You know to get the things that you wanna accomplish you're gonna have to do something different than what you're doing right now in that's that's openly have gotten to where I am right now because I've made myself uncomfortable communicate with different people because a more of an introvert. But a lot of people don't know it because I'm a living a live in my uncomfortable. Onus. I live in being able to do the things that I don't feel that that don't feel comfortable doing so network with people, you know, versus sitting in the house all day and I'll take cold showers out. Go out do out wake up at four fifteen in the morning, when I don't really want to you know, on my Instagram story this morning, I said through myself out of bed, you know. Because if I didn't I wasn't gonna get out of bed. I literally had to make myself get up in. So it's okay. If you're comfortable, but is not okay to not do anything. You have to get started. You have to do the things that are gonna make you better. And most of the time that comes with making yourself uncomfortable. Yells token about willingness this morning on Instagram being being willing being willing being open or go about five minutes left here. I wanna ask you a few more questions. Just write them down here. He spoke about the control shower, and how important is from a health stamp. But you saw us as a way of life to because he about it. Right. When you get that first when you're literally commanding yourself to say right, go onto the cold get under the code. You literally have to force yourself to do. So it's kinda like an analogy of life when ISE J, absolutely absolutely assure. Yeah. And another thing I was going to ask you here is a kind of off to you about your schedule. But if somebody really and truly said, Jay, listen. On reaching out to you. Because of what you've done and what you promote what you teach and you obviously practice. What you teach. Now. I know that men in the thirties and forties and fifties or one absorb okay? It's like a symbol. It's a status symbol right now. "You spoke about gratitude earlier because this is actually was watching one of your I think it's one of your stories on Instagram and something that you ready do participate in every day when you practice what you preach. What you tell your clients. Do you do exactly as well? So gratitude has been obviously, very very impactful in very huge for you walk in some of the listeners do regards to gratitude, and how it can help them because I personally believe gratitude is a major component of changing and transforming the body to. Absolutely. And I feel like gratitude is one of the things that really keeps what you're doing. What are you all to look into accomplish? You know, it keeps it in the forefront of your mind, and so on a daily basis all right now basing them right for I write down, you know, my coaching class grateful for him. Great before my freedom. You know, grateful for my family, you know, and just being able to be alive because we are in. Mazing time right now is absolutely amazing. What people can accomplish with their lives nowadays versus just fifteen twenty years ago. People just didn't have access to these type of things, you know. And it's only gonna get better in. So I feel like right now is such a phenomenal time in life where we should continue to be grateful for what we do have. Because a lot of people are not as fortunate a lot of people weren't as fortunate as we as we are right now. You know, there's other people in different countries stakes. They just don't have the opportunity that we do in. How? Know, I feel like we we shouldn't just take it for granted a feel like we should always maximize each and every day and just man is just so much that people can do if they only get out of their own way, if they got out of their head and just start to focus on helping you know that that's what I feel like my true passion is I feel like is truly. I love feeling significant far as being able to help other people transform and I feel like if other people can figure out what it is. They truly are grateful for what they're truly looking to do with their life. They can forget about Western Mining just go out and create more impact and help other people. So so good, Jay. You spoke about holding yourself back. Maybe having a coach our my help talk about that you touched on having a coach shower. This is another thing that personally as a coach on promoting to is control showers want you to talk about is because this is very very important just from a health standpoint. But how it can literally it can make you feel so good for the rest of the whole day. If you do it the morning, absolute, man. Absolutely. So I feel like the cold showers really boost your immune system gets you going. You know, it's something that's gonna change your state in what I mean by that is some people when they wake up in the morning, they may wanna turn on news it, you know, to just change their stay at one of the guys I really listened to a lot of Tony Robbins, and he's a big fan of like coche hours and things like that. Also and just being able to get up in the morning, take a shower, it's gonna change take a cold shower. It's gonna change your state. It also Buscher immune system gets you going in. I just feel like being able to do that in the morning. It's make sure body more bulletproof. It makes your body be more comfortable being uncomfortable. If that makes sense in j people say like, but it's but it's too hard. Like is. It's too cold under that icon bear it. Well, what would you say to that? The thing is a lot of things are you know, why life life is about being the in your comfort zone. Nothing happens. Nothing. Great is going to happen. Somebody lie in somebody's life being comfortable. You know, thank about when you went through school or anything somebody's everyone has something in their life where they had to get on comfortable, and as they made themselves comfortable they made a breakthrough in. That's what you know. Taking those kosher ours is gonna do for you to you're gonna have physical breakthroughs. You know, you're gonna notice your body is it has a lot more energy. I it it recovers a lot faster. You know?.

"Allow to may be potentially zigzag and enjoy some wine with some friends or a nice Italian meal with your with your significant other as an example, do you believe in the eighty twenty concept balance, I believe that there should be a balance for sure, you know, I believe in that eighty twenty and what I do is. I do something called cyclical fast. And I was listening to your podcasts earlier in. You're you're talking to your interviewing Chris Powell and a have a phenomenal amount of respect to this guy. And it it was his book one of his book that he that he wrote it it taught it start. He started share more about like, carb cycling, and you know, this whole thing where you also lower and higher carb days in one of my struggles early all was I was depleting myself carbs. I would always do have proteins zero cars. But when I read his book house, like how do you tell me, I can't eat carbs, and I can still be lane. That's what it's fired me to go out, and do some carb cycling, and I came across intimate and fast in because I was pretty busy. So I didn't really care to eat in the morning. So in our fast until about eleven twelve pm in so that became this whole cyclical fasten thing that I do now. That's why coaching clients in. So a good two three days out the week new album, the eat a lot more carbs or they can have that reward meal that they wanna have are really trying not to promote gluttony where people dizzy anything. But there are going to be days what you can eat whatever you want to eat. But again, we go back to the fundamental. We go back to our foundation. You know, the foods that you typically gonna eat on a daily basis like your go-to, but on other days say days, will you work out really, really hard. You can go out to eat a burger and fries or or maybe pancakes pizza. I love those things. But the figure out how I could balance it out and that was by having foundation to to live off of. And then when I do wanna go out and splurged in e then Akkad do that also still keep my leaf Zeki around. "The main things I here to a lot of guys ladies, they say, I just don't have the motivation workout will a lot of times people have demotivated because they're unsure of what they need to do. You know, once you have more clarity on exactly what to do. Then you won't drag your feet, you won't procrastinate in a lot of times. It's think about anything we procrastinate on certain things because we're unsure of what what we really need to do. But once you know, exactly what to do like deep down. You knew exactly what you need to do. Then. That's what gives you that motivation to go out and do it. Every narrates this consistency and discipline. We'll come onto consistency and discipline later on because is something that I'm extremely hugely passionate about I wanted to talk to you about confusing information people being confused, generally when I go on the internet because honestly, like there's a million ways to do it. Right. We both know that. But some many people that I find that are out there that are struggling get so confused at it puts them in that analysis paralysis, you know, what's what should I do what training program, should I do maybe to the listeners on that? Because at the end of the day, you know, let's get back to the basics. And I think maybe maybe potentially as site will losing track or losing focus from the basics that actually have been tried and true for several several years. So maybe talk about that Dr love to get your take on this. Right. So I'm a huge person of living within the basics and just doing it. Sistan Louis relentlessly does living out the basics and the fundamentals. So the first thing somebody's looking to, you know, just lose weight or just get rain or even if they want to gain some muscle mass one base that live by is making everything simplest possible, you know, minimize having a ton of variety. So one of the first things I do my coaching clients, we if they're looking to lose weight, we know they have to reduce the amount of food that they eat festive first thing they're gonna have to do. You're gonna have been glory deficit. You know? But when the main things we do is they allowed to know that they know they have to eat less. But the other thing that we do is we focus on two to three different types of foods that they're gonna eat on a weekly basis, you know, far as proteins you hit. Let's say you're gonna eat chicken, you're gonna eat salmon. And you're gonna have a shrimp. You know, those are two to three proteins that you're gonna eat on a weekly basis than the same. Same thing with vegetables, you know, asparagus Brown asparagus. Kale and spinach. And then you have your carbs, like a sweet potatoes Brown rice. And then with your fast is so once you understand these two to three things to eat in proteins carbs fats. You wanna stay in very close to those foods on a weekly basis. You can make some up, but you wanna stay really close to him. Because if there's too much variety, you know, was working was not working, you know in. So that's how coach my clients. And so they can not just accomplish their goals. But also they can sustain them in. So they can eat, you know, the the pizza or the burger, but you wanna stay really close to your go-to. You wanna have a foundation in when you had found nation. You can always go back to your foundation. If you ever, you know, veer far, all you know, if you go on vacation, you you may not have those. Foods to eat. You can eat the things that vacation hotel have for you. But once you get back home you get right back into routine. You know, the that laid out Dacian for you to get the results that you already have, you know, in that way, you know, what's working was not in. That's how I keep it super simple in allows people to get great results. So they full of track get back contract by doing the basics. Get back to the fundamentals you back to the fundamentals. It's it's so simple. It's easy to do is. Also lot of people say also easy. Not to do that. Is it makes complete complete sense to add to that. Jay. Would you say? Do you believe in as a coach the eighty twenty rule? So percent of the time you're eating whole foods. You know, you're living that healthy lifestyle managing stress etcetera. And twenty percent you.

Also, you know been able to have the energy just feel good on a daily basis. And so I said to myself, I'm drawing in these type of people already let me just market to these people markets more entrepreneur one become how level or they may already be there. And that's how I started to find my niche because we if you're trying to market to to me different types of people, you kinda gonna attract nobody in a way. And when I started this niche down and focus just on entrepreneurs in the things, they struggle with in the things that they wanna have that's not start to get a lot more traction from you know, gas do forex guys step on stage gasden on TV, you know, that like a sports anchors and people like that. Because like man, I need to look the part when on TV I need to look the when I'm on stage in that's how I will about you know, putting up my content because I wanna make things that are relevant to their lives. You got it figured out, man. You really have figured out. I think you create I always say energy flows where attention goes. So you'll energies focused to the Tra preneurs that really wanna look good. They wanna feel good at an they don't have a lotta time to do in either. So they have to be very efficient and have a lot of structure in their life. So I can definitely appreciate that folk from one business to another. So let's talk about the people that were helping or the people that we're looking to help because I'm always on the lookout, right? Everyday will always looking for looking for people that we wanna help and impact their life. So they pass on the message onto their loved ones that people that they care about. So what are some of the things that you see so many people struggling with to achieve that Otomat version of the cell for their body as an example was some of the things that you see people struggling with and, you know, in your heart of hearts, you know, that you can help them. I believe is one of the biggest things is their their their minds. So brainwashed by society, and we all have these different limiting beliefs. You know, like people thinking that card making fat. But we we all know that cars will make you fat overeating makes you fat. A lot of people think that they just don't have the time in the day to work out in a lot of times. People think that it has to take two three hours in the gym to give the results, but it doesn't. And so a lot of people just had these different limiting beliefs far as time for as they think they have to have a lot of resources resourceless thinking they have to have a lot of money. But in reality, they don't, you know, and might my goal is to be able to share my stories to create enough believe just to get people to take that first step in once they can take that first step. I can really change their last. Because now I can give them the blueprint on exactly what they need to do. Bangu able to not have good memory or something like that. You know, some somebody that's a little bit older. So might as you know, in the fifties sixties, they may not have the best memory as they get older while that's probably later on in life, probably sixty or seventy they may not have the best memory. And so you just want to be able to my point is be able to have a audience where you can resonate with them. And if your audience is too broad, you won't be able to do that. So guys that are thirty to forty years old. They wanna be healthy they wanna get cut in for me, my audience entrepreneurs the busy in. So I can I can make content that talks about hey, guys. If you're busy, you can do XYZ, you know, another thing is a lot of entrepreneurs. They they look forward to having a routine they want some type of daily routine is so they can feel that they're building momentum on a daily basis and so have to talk about daily routine. And as I started to understand like the audience that I wanted to help and the things that I value, you know, kind of look at yourself too. You know in on entrepreneur, so as I started to focus on my daily routine, however can maximize.

"Hey, Mark Stein. In for rush on the excellence in broadcasting, the great man will be we'll be back tomorrow. I got a little heated that Michael and Michael Flynn. And I'm right to be I'm right to be heated. But Jay Jackson. Jake Jackson tweets. And this is why like I'd like I'd love to get some liberal calls on this one eight hundred two eight two two eight eight two but Jake Zach Jackson is tweeting. It's amazing that criminal defenders like Sean, Hannity and Mark Stein have fallen back from there was no crime to it's not a crime crime just a process crime over the course of these investigations pathetic. Tribalism nothing in the least bit tribalist, Jake. I'm so bored by Republican democrat democrat Republican because right now, for example, we've had two years of Republican dominance. And what is Paul Ryan done for me lately? What know I I don't wanna have about the Republican and care less about the Republican party can not interested in. Here's a story. We should get to eighty six percent of government spending is now on autopilot. That's free point two trillion dollars doesn't require approval from congress. So it makes no difference. Whether congress is Republican or democrat. So actually means that what this government shutdown rob issues about is like fourteen percent of government spending. There is no government in effect free point two trillion dollars, which would be a lot even to wealthy countries. Like, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein three point two trillion. That would be three point two trillion and. That that doesn't require approval. This is the first this is the first the United States is the first entity in human history that can spend three point two trillion dollars without anyone signing off on it. So your when you elect to government that's eighty six percent of the federal spending. When you elect to government, you basically electing people to quibble over the fourteen percent over the small print over the chump change. So don't give me this Republican democrat thing, I'm completely principled on this. I defended Martha Stewart when they did the same thing that they did to Flynn. Martha Stewart lied in a matter for which there was no underlying crime, and they send it a prison and Martha Stewart's a Hillary supporter, I like Martha she used to come in my Christmas show in the old days, and I bake cranberry lattice pecan pie her and she'd be disparaging about my crust, despite the fact that Martha was disparaging about my lattice. Crossed. I don't think she should be gone to jail. I'm completely principled on. This. America is supposed to be a part of the common law community of nations. It has perverted common law to the point where it might as well be expelled from the common law community and take up sharia or native American healing circles, or whatever Kim Jong UN is using because it it now has such an insane perversion, including these process crime, basically miss remembering I don't remember a lot when I'm like, I'm at that stage of life where when I say, oh, yeah. A couple years ago. I mean five years ago, and when I say five years ago, I mean ten years ago, I wanna say ten years. I mean a quarter century ago say a quarter century ago. I mean eighteen ninety seven and that's how that's everyone reaches the stage life when they do that too. And you miss remember, and you can be chitchatting with the FBI. And if you miss remember you've committed. A crime and Jay Jackson things I'm being tribal in protesting that I don't think. Jay Jackson, sounds a twig frankly, but I don't think Jake Jackson should begun to jail for miss remembering to the FBI, and I would like here here, we we're we're supposed to be excited now because some judge has ruled ObamaCare unconstitutional. The Democrats serious about power. Obama took a giant croquet mallet and hammered ObamaCare down the gullet of America. Whether they wanted it or not because he bet he looked around the Republican party. He looked at Mitt Romney. And he looked Paul Ryan. And he decided that he could afford to make the bet that they would not have the guts to destroy that thing and replace it with anything else. And he won that bet. He won that. Because he was serious about power. All I'm saying all I'm saying is that this thing this is this is what they call. In an Australian law school, for example, fast principles wherever the first the first principles here where is the equity in what they're doing to Flint, Flint, the whole thing. Here is an exercise in muscle. They squeeze you till you squeal. And people think that's funny because they think it's people get excited because it's guy making the other guy squeal, it's not actually a way to do anything. Shame on shame on you. If you think gay shame on you. If you're willing to defend that, I don't think it's right for Flynn, Martha Stewart or anybody else, I think it's an abomination and and what's going on to. And and I would love it. If this judge who actually he comes from the believe before he got the federal gig. He was with the DC superior court. Which is hilarious because that's the biggest dumb in the country. I've been I've been in that stupid. Call now for seven years over a two hundred and seventy word blog posts, that's how incompetent the DC superior qualities because this guy moved onto the federal cost. But I would love it. If he actually just through this thing yet. Now, I'm getting away bit excited. Hey, you know, the.

"There's Joe passion goodfellas when he does a very quick like, oh, no when he realizes he's about die. I don't know if Christian bale is the villain and the prestige or not. But I love that abracadabra line. He gives right before he gets hang like, there are a lot of other ones that we can immediately put above kill monger. I don't think he gets to be in the top five their top twenty. Maybe. Miss question. Jay jackson. We have one question free. If we were with Jonah's creed impro- mongers before the harsh nerve. So this is longer when you still normal humans rates. Would win things. We love the podcast. Oh shit to people calling in to ask a question. I didn't even know that. That was a thing that people did that's cool if creed and kill monger fighting it's kill monger who's walking away the winner there. He's just too vicious is all creed is a noble noble, dude, kill monger is strangling old women shit like that's a different level. That's all that there is to. I remember one time back when I was teaching. I'm not sure if I've told this story or not, but one time when I was teaching I had this new student who was transferred into my class. I it was the middle of the year or early in the second semester or something like that. But he got transferred in he was this real sort of hard ass kid. And so he showed up, and it was clear he was trying to make sure everybody understood that he was the new tough kit, which I get he was transferring over from like the behavior academy. So we had a bunch of stuff going on he needed everybody to know very quickly that he was the new dude because that's just sort of how you. Tablist your self worth when you're raised and that when you attend school, and that kind of environment the problem here was though the class that he was transferred into was the same class as the current tough guy in the school. So they immediately sort of knocked heads and after a few days eventually boiled over into an actual confrontation them in class. I'm like explaining something these kids start arguing they're sitting at separate tables. I was teaching science. So we don't have desks. We have tables each day west four season. I made sure to put them in on like opposite sides of the class. And apparently they have gotten into earlier in the day. And so they're in my class now, and they're both Rahal heated and one of them does something or gives the other one the look, and that's all that you need. I'm standing there at the front of the class. I hear the sound chair sliding on the floor when someone stands up very quickly. Makes it very distinct sound like you hear that you automatically know some shit is about to go down. That's what I hear. I turn around. I see them both standing up and one of them the original tough guy. He's like what them bitch post up post up is the phrase that you use in middle school or high school when you're challenging someone to fight you tell them to post up. So he's like what's up damn bitch post up and the new tough kid. He stands up and he's like come on. Then I afraid to go back to jail, and as soon as you said that s soon as anyone says I afraid to go back to jail. That's the end of the fight the old tough guy knew that the new tough guy was operating on a different level..
