"Five years ago today, five police officers were gunned down. By what had to be a deranged, delusional sick individual. Um, and he was eventually killed by the police. And as he tried to escape, uh, you know, as I as I think about this and what we're talking with Michael later on Mike Munna, you know the community support the outpouring of concern. Over over the fallen officers and their families. Um, I know David Prince over Eagle gun range myself have talked about this many times when we're raising money for fallen officers. Um, it was like These police officers lost their lives, Um, protecting Black lives matter. Protest against Police officers shooting black man It was I'm thinking to myself they were doing their duty. They were doing their job. They lost their lives in the community support at the time was overwhelming. Simply overwhelming the type of support that was coming out of not just Dallas, but all over the country and rightfully so. You know, it's too bad. A police officer has to go down in the line of duty, um for people to show their respect and their appreciation and concern and care over these men and women that stand between God Only knows, uh, in us, they don't It's amazing to me what has happened in five years. We went from a city that was embracing our law enforcement. Um you know the back and forth. Between police and civilians, Civilians and police was probably as good as it ever had been. But five short years later. It's a totally different landscape when we come back. You may remember Jay Howell. He's the former W B A P correspondent. He was live on the scene is the shooting was going on. He's no longer in Dallas ease and in Idaho, but we're going to talk with him in his perspective. Next on the WB 80 Thursday morning news we'll look at the first day of the special session in the Texas Legislature. That all happens.

"The dallas police massacre downtown dallas killing five donald police officers injuring some nine others Seven others as well as two civilians. Yeah it's a fair bet to say that Anyone who is there will never forget this day and that includes former k. l. i. f. reporter jay howell who joins us morning. Take a look back on the chaos and shock. Good morning j. morning guys boy. You're right there. That is That scene it doesn't seem like five years ago. I can still see it vividly in my mind. it's just one of those stories that it's that is probably the most momentous story i will ever cover. Paint the picture for his jay. Where were you what were you doing. Oh man i was I was there on. Ross avenue next to the y. o. Ranch steakhouse the police had pushed us. Back I i literally had been in dallas only two months so i didn't even really realize where i was I wound up there at the west end station. They pushed us back in here. I am watching this building. That i wasn't really sure what it was. But the helicopters were flying over with the spotlights Bearcats moving in and out of the loading dock area Every law enforcement agency you can imagine was pulling up to the scene and for the first couple of hours it was It wasn't panicked but it was kind of organized chaos. If i remember correctly members of the media were also in harm's way. Were you scared for your life. Are you nervous. You know i was to I didn't know enough to be scared. I didn't realize how close to the building. I was a block away from the building. Where just on the other side of the west end station where michael johnson was shooting out of the windows. I didn't realize that. Because i was such a newbie. So when they pushed us back. I realized okay. I better listen to what these officers are telling me to do. Because i'm literally a babe in the woods. Here we're talking with former klif wbz reporter jay howell. Who was on the scene during the horrible police ambush. Five years ago. I yeah i remember seeing the The tv footage there there were people shooting tv footage alive while other people were were running and fleeing total panic and cops trying to move in toward the scene but being very careful to hide behind walls and cars and things of that nature and it looked like a war. Well you see. I missed all that. And i'll tell you dave While that was happening i was i had gone down. My instructions were to cover the rally. There be below garden park. I did. I got my interviews. It was very peaceful very passionate but peaceful. I think i said Came back to. The station filed my stories. And as i was leaving. I said something that will stick with me the rest of my life. I told eric bushman that okay. It's peaceful nothing's going to happen tonight and that's about the time that the shooting was starting so an hour later there. I was trying to figure out how to get down to the same because again. I didn't know where i was going I it was just incredible. I missed all of that but I'm pretty sure and air. Can i put our heads together. Later on this figuring out the timeline. I'm pretty sure. I heard the bomb go off in el centro building that took out michael johnson and that was the first time the dallas police department had actually used that robot and it was a very controversial decision by the time. I don't think it's been done by any other department since either now well We certainly appreciate your time this morning. Jay how are you you up to these days. What well After working in dallas I came back to boise and worked in radio for a couple of years. But it just wasn't the same so i am out of radio and out of news altogether and have moved into another industry so i guess Dallas kinda ruined it for me once you work here. It's hard to work anywhere else right. It is how are you going to keep them down on the form. Exactly we'll have have a have a great life from you guys take care miss you and we wish barriers jay. How former klif wbz reporters really good. President biden is going to be in chicago suburb. Today we'll find out more about what he's going to be doing. But first rachel sutherland. Joining us to talk about The president's agenda for today. Rachel good morning before we get to that. Can we ask you a question about something that happened yesterday. We're looking for clarification. Because you know. The president said something about Sending people door to door to encourage americans to get back sedated. And apparently that's been taken literally and he's getting all kinds of flack for it and jen psaki came out and pretty much repeated what he said and i can't find any indication that there's actually a plan to literally do that was he. Just being folksy joe yeah. I'm wondering the same thing. And i will have that question for Jen psaki it. should i. They percents south because twitter just went atlanta's first of all. Here's the thing who answers her door anymore. Has a ring care. And no one answers their door. You don't even have to get off the couch to figure out you don't want to answer the door So in all seriousness. Though jim to say that it's an informational campaign so it's not the idea people going around holding people down with needles. It's not like that. I think that if they do as ob in communities where it's a there's a lower vaccination rates and it's going to be a campaign informational campaign but the question is is going to make any difference. First of all people answer the door or even lever. Who'd outside the door these days independent if they do It'll probably be you know. We got one thanks a bunch and then other people slamming doors and the faces and maybe folks there maybe some people who are shutting people who don't have the ability to get out who may appreciate the information so but has the administration tapped out the population on getting the shots It's about what sixty seven sixty eight percent that's gotten at least one That number's going to go up to being fully vaccinated For a bit but it is there a certain portion of the population. And no matter what you do or say they're they're gonna pass and really Shaming doesn't doesn't help. I mean people have the right to make their own health decisions and so I don't know that a door to door campaign is going to be very effective. I'm just wondering if they were. Hey everybody took it so seriously. So what is the. What is the president up to. Today's at a community college lobbying for his american families plan. That's right yeah. He's going to a community college in crystal lake illinois. And it's really good to be about par to of infrastructure plan. which is the social programs. We've been hearing so much about free community. College expanding family Leave sick leave in universal preschool and a lot of these initiatives that don't fall under the purview of what you normally think that infrastructure is so this community college in particular i believe has a childcare center on sites will probably say look at this community college and they're doing things the way that maybe i would want them to do. Only on the government's dime and so He'll he'll be there discussed that and we understand that really the infrastructures on two tracks in congress and they're out of session right now but The the bipartisan agreement. Which is almost a trillion dollars worth of core infrastructure and then this idea of human infrastructure that democrats are using budget reconciliation to drive it through the senate without any republican votes. So that's kind of where it stands right now. We'll see when congress gets back and full next week. We're understanding that. Senate majority leader chuck. Schumer is going to be bringing some kind of legislation to four this month. Aright rachel thank you very much. You you satisfy our curiosity to this point and look forward to hearing the answer. That question with jen psaki Rachel sutherland are fox reporter in.

That story is coming up from Ed Wallace with the moment Rachael of History at 7 55 7 41 Right now, with David Amy on Wednesday morning, President Biden is going to be in a Chicago suburb. Today, We'll find out more about what he's going to be doing, but first Rachel Sutherland joining us to talk about the president's agenda for today, Rachel Good morning before we get to that. Can we ask you a question about something that happened yesterday? Um, uh, well, we're looking for clarification because you know, the president said something about sending people door to door to encourage Americans to get vaccinated, And apparently, that's been taken literally and he's getting all kinds of flak for it. And Jen Psaki came out and pretty much repeated what he said. And I can't find any indication that there's actually a plan to literally do that. Was he just being folksy Joe? You know, I'm wondering the same thing. And I will have that question for Jen Psaki. It should I. The opportunity presents itself because Twitter just went bananas. First of all, Here's the thing who answers her door anymore. Everyone has a ring camera. No one answers their door. You don't even have to get off the couch to figure out that you don't want to answer the door. Um So in all seriousness, though, Jim Hockey did say that it's an informational campaign, so it's not the idea of people going around holding he put back Down with the needles. It's not like that. I think that if they do, it'll be in communities where, uh, it's there's a lower vaccination rates, and it's going to be campaign informational campaign, But the question is going to make any difference. First of all, we'll people answer the door. We even leave our food outside the door these days in the pandemic. And then Secondly, if they do, it'll probably be. You've only got one. Thanks a bunch and then other people slamming doors and that faces the baby folks. There may be some people who are shunted. People who don't have the ability to get out. Do they appreciate the information so, But has the administration tapped out the population on getting these shots? Um, it's about what 67 68%. That's gotten at least one uh, that number is going to go up to being fully vaccinated upwards a bit. But is there a certain portion of the population and no matter what you do or shape They're difficult to pass and really shaming doesn't doesn't help. I mean, people have the right to make their own health decisions. And so, uh, I don't know that a door to door campaign is going to be very effective. Okay? I'm just wondering if they were everybody took it so seriously. So what is the right? What is the president up to today is at a community college lobbying for his American families plan. That's right. Yeah, he's going out to a community college in Crystal Lake, Illinois, and it's really going to be about part two of his infrastructure plan, which is the social programs. We've been hearing so much about, like free community college. Expanding a family believe sick leave in the universal preschool and a lot of these initiatives that don't fall under the purview of what you normally think that infrastructure is So this community college in particular ugly has childcare Center on site will probably say Look at this community college and they're doing things away that maybe I would want them to do only on the government's dime, and so he'll he'll be there discussed that, and we understand that really the infrastructures on two tracks in Congress and they're out of session right now. But, uh, the bipartisan agreement, which is almost a trillion dollars worth of core infrastructure as this This idea of human infrastructure that Democrats are well here using budget reconciliation to to drive it through the Senate without any Republican votes, So that's kind of where it stands. Right now. We'll see when, uh, Congress gets back in full next week. We're understand that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is going to be bringing some kind of legislation to before this month. "On Newstalk 8 20. W b a p W v a p dot com Everyone 57, now at W. B. A P Here on the Wednesday morning is very special Wednesday morning news, Scott said. Way is with us this morning and all morning long will be reflecting back on a On a horrible day in Dallas five years ago today, uh, lost five police officers in an ambush. And that's kind of what our focus will be. Yes, we'll get you all the news and everything, but we want to remember and remember it the right way. What happened Five years ago, Senior Corporal Lauren errands of D P. D. Officer Michael Krol of Dallas Police Sergeant Michael Smith of Dallas Police Patrick Zamarripa. Also Dallas police and then dart officer Brent Thompson. Those five names Five years ago today were etched into a sad place in not just Dallas history. Uh, and policing history in American history. Because I mean, uh, I don't know about you. But for me, that was that was a game changer of a day. First of all, because for me my first day working here was that was on a Thursday. Remember? 3rd. July seventh was a Thursday. Five years ago I started at W B A P Monday following when the memorial came up at the police station right next day was the funeral were then President Obama. Came into town. You know, And it was just, uh It's hard to put words on how powerful it was seeing the community come out and just an outpouring of love and support for these families, because, remember this all started about seven o'clock at night. Where police were just keeping an eye on a peaceful protest. Um, uh, Black lives matter. Protests where they were protesting Police brutality? Yes. And Dallas place that when you look at pictures and videos throughout the night, there was nothing weird. No on, you know, uneven relationship between officers and protesters that night. At all. Until about roughly nine o'clock a little before nine o'clock, and then the shots get fired, And then the night was thrown into total chaos went that way until about three in the morning, so I'll begin at seven and ended around 33 o'clock. In the morning. It's just a night of hell. And that in downtown down in Dallas, Yeah, downtown Dallas, but in Dallas It was worth. It's something that, uh, you know, I have to really have to want to remember forever. Right. It's a well again. You will, because especially here because if you remember the the news reports and we'll we'll talk to our one of our former reporters, Jay Howell in the seven o'clock hour because he was covering the protest. When this all happened and then how his night change, too, because he went from covering a protest to one of the most horrific nights in Dallas history. You know, up there with John F. Kennedy. So it's It's just amazing how much things change. And when you look at this forward how much the relationship between community and police has changed. Or has it, you know, like it's it's. It's a fascinating question, because that's a great question. You know it has changed, but has it changed for good for horse as it What exactly has it changed too? What I what I took away from it other than just being overwhelmed with how much was going on in that period. Was when, right after the ambush happened. Like I said, the outpouring of love and support from the community was was just insane. It was overwhelming. And not to say it's gone away completely. But it's almost like we forget about that support. When you start talking about the politics in the defunding the police and the you know that those movements We forget about these moments, right? Right, well coming up later on this hour. Mike Mata, who is the president of the Dallas Police Association, will join us at 5 47 this morning at 607. Valerie Zamarripa, the mother of the fallen police officer, Patrick Zamarripa will join us. And it'll be it'll be, uh, a great talk with Valerie. You see how she's doing now. Five years later. "In the ball to wear it you know I mean he would do that he would sharpen his nails I guess in this get these like nail marks inside the covering of the ball and that would help it to take something to wear with the way he threw it that would make it drop almost drop offs and so an advantage yeah but still you know staying somewhere within the rules I mean not caught like Joe Niekro with the file you know where he is and that is still the classic of all day I mean for you folks I haven't seen that it's an old school to where they come out they're accusing yeah you know the visiting team's accusing Joe Niekro of using a file to scuff the ball and they're in the Astrodome and there's no grass there it's just after two frightened there's Negro and he's tossing this file from his back pocket like away hoping that it gets buried in the grass but there's no grass so it's going to but you see it as it's going down from his where he tossed it to where the umpires I like catches it just like it's so obvious and he tosses a mini suspended for what a month or two or whatever it was but it is the thing happened in the eighty eight playoffs with Jay Howell with that with the pine tar in the end of suspending him for a game I believe or maybe the rest of the series against them that they know that if he got caught against the Mets with the pine tar and glad that he was adding to the ball and you said that helping with Luis Severino just a couple years ago when you had it all down on it yeah can you can see it with no no was that there was tornado was in the Canadian whatever your I. it was put in I'm sorry he was with the Yankees at the time and he had it you could you see the brown stuff on it yeah I was a little yeah I was like yeah like a like you know like what is that life is just is just classic man unbelievable some of the stuff they guys did yeah but back in the day like the old school day when you read about some of these stories they weren't they I mean they were just spit balls they were spit balls would like tobacco spit I mean and they only had a certain and that was a crazy thing this is back in the twenties and whatnot and they only had a certain amount of baseballs and they didn't have lights so by the time it's getting to be dusk you know somebody's balls they said they couldn't even see him because it's a you know they were all you know there's brown on there from the tobacco in these guys are spending or trying to hide it from the and unbelievable stuff but you know baseball yes some and harassing me your league when he was showing where all the places he I'd it'd be like I gotta do you know I got been here I'm right here yeah it's crazy stuff via the vassal lean and stuff too but yeah you mentioned **** Perry somebody that was accused of doctoring the baseball I still have a picture of got a little craft beer as again we use the Beastie Boys word keno crafty managed to some about that word in the Beastie Boys I just she's crafty absolutely and and and and you're right immediate corking about maybe a little worse than that and you know it it will I don't know if you can tarnish heroes is currently more than he's already tarnished it certainly doesn't help now this is this is to wear this affects the performance on the field and that was always the debate where you had okay yeah I understand ethics the guys just a compulsive gambler he cannot stop in for somebody that's a compulsive gambler back in the day now I can still have my nights but it's few and far between now he still is at that point that held bet on anything and and I mean it's it's sad I mean he's just never really addressed it I don't think he's ever really tried to quit and he's you know almost had that you know Charles Barkley like attitude look I'm not a role model you know it's like I'm not your kids role model you know I'm somebody that played the game now give him credit we watch the way he played the game we watch the way that he slid head first we watched him you know go after and so we see Michael Jordan in these series right now last dance and all that stuff in five and six years played last night and there's it's a ten part series but we love the competitor in Michael Jordan who by the way also another guy that's a compulsive gambler okay so somebody that yeah we hear about his golf game gambling trust me Michael Black Jack I mean that was a thing Michael Jackson Michael Jordan you had Magic Johnson Charles Barkley you guys are all gamblers but Michael was one of those guys I'm not going to bed till I win type guy you know all right there's also a rumor that he did when he left to go play baseball it was really David stern basically suspend him for gambling without suspending it exactly that's the the unwritten rule or unwritten deal there and you just think Hey you know what Boston Celtics eight in a row there was a chance maybe those balls could've won that many they did win six but that's how good they were at that time like all of a sudden Hey you know what I'm going to go I got I just gotta go try my hand at playing Major League Baseball in the white Sox organization and yeah I just didn't just didn't smell right now as as in as you happen to be owned by the same team that owns the Chicago Bulls and gray and has a Knicks fan I was all for it yeah he's a good time for you to try baseball it got you into the finals yeah that's all all it got us I mean it still didn't help out okay so no is go of course always would be on throwback Thursday although he made a Friday appearance Andy and he's got a question here says his question is why did the guy wait nearly forty years to bring it up okay so he's talking about the equipment manager there for the Montreal Expos he's mentioning Joe jammer why is he now coming out with this white any satyr I I you know what I and I I get that and I you know and sometimes you know no matter what it is certain things that you look and things come up from yester year and you're like why is this coming out now what what made you feel comfortable about you know coming up with it now was it something that you just thought you had to do before you left the planet and I don't know but it reminds me of it's the kind of thing that seems to happen and I'm not suggesting this is what happens when you extort someone could you know something like rose have been paying the guy and responded you know I'm not gonna pay you anymore that's fine he says if you're not gonna pay me then I'm gonna come out public with it wow and that may not be the case for that one right down like that that's why it happens so many it is some years later unless you're on your death bed like you said like the need to get the guy going and I need the money paid P. and another hundred thousand be like no I'm done paying you for your time to go public with the story right and then the other guy I guess that could of corrupt you know corroborated the story and said Hey you know this is a because here's here's the here's a quote this comes from jammer worry says Pete was too smart to deal with expose a quickening manager John Silverman to Cork is batting the Expos clubhouse so Bryan Greenberg who worked in the visitors clubhouse did it he took me into a room a door to the left in underneath tarps there was this machine Gemma recalled that he S. Greenberg what is that machine for jammer said Greenberg replied that's a machine for corking Pete rose's bats and windjammer told Greenberg that he wanted to take about within Greenberg said now can't do that can't let you do that and apparently Greenberg said rose had been corking his bat for twenty years so it wasn't like just an isolated incident there it wasn't on the extremist Montreal right it happened when you went into well there you go so that's that that is disturbing and they also said that one at the end now I I guess Greenberg did not make a rich ages okay Greenberg said when asked by the Gazette last week I really can't answer those questions I really can't talk about it and then Ryan Sturman one of rose's representatives sit did not respond to recording allegations when reached last Thursday and I said I'm all that can you make it sound more credible well exactly I mean that that's the thing it's I'm like that I I mean listen I'm I don't mean to bring politics in there I don't care if it's trump I don't care if it's Biden I don't care who it is if somebody accuses me of sexual assault I am calling a press conference and I am answering any questions that that person may have said about me any questions I'm staying right there I'll take all questions and your name maybe if you if you've got nothing to hide that's right you got no problem not only am I answering those questions I am then Chaloner suiting because I'm throwing a countersuit for for that type of you know are you kidding me I mean you're you right now all that that is just you know routing who I am self I'm biting right now I'm somebody that you've got his this is slander at that I mean yeah this is absolutely unbelievable this is where you know I'm get ready to run for president and this is coming out but then you go back to the Larry King Live thing with the mom calling in and so that's why if I'm buying I'm up there on a box and I'm saying Hey let me answer all questions I don't care who it is and get that lady I want to go to court I don't care I want to go to but that's the thing a lot of times whoever these people are if they have skills in their closet they don't want to talk about it so they're gonna rely behind a good mouth piece it's going to be able to tell them to shut up and I'll be able to get you out of this and money talks and we've seen a talk we've seen it walk in the court system here in the United States not supposed to work that way but that's the way it works but somebody ever accuse me of something like that and I know damn well I didn't do it I'm going to be the first one that stands up and says Hey let's have a press conference absolutely if you got nothing to hide then you have nothing to hide there you go okay selfish vain let's go and reflect now so right now how how bad do you think that I I think that tarnishes because that story does sound credible but I think that any debate now on rose getting into the hall of fame I mean this is this is this is a major strike to me as somebody because this affects what he did on the field I'm not saying that he still would have gotten you know a good amount of those hits and still been the all time hits leader I'm not saying the core it meant that much difference but when you hit the ball it's almost like I'm thinking like a major leaguer use an aluminum bat if right if people were deciding to stop in on their stance toward Pete rose this made them hard right back up I I don't see any way.

B. four hundred a so something was an automatic motorcycle Honda matic Honda's made a few automatic transmission transmission motorcycles and was customize the put a fairing on it they put some people lower inserts on the bike and I'm gonna mated for print space anyway prize next okay away Brian good morning how are you there are you guys doing a great Hey I wanted to ask you guys that work talk a little bit about the baseball and and not see you question came up how does how are you know in comparison university you talk they got around that they have a real head of baseball came in the pac twelve can't can't she you fall but modeled somewhere you know that's listen that's been the question for well for a lot of us ever since see you got rid of baseball and there just doesn't seem to be a real significant interest in bringing baseball back and I don't know how else to say it there there are mitigating circumstances in reasons and some of them makes sense but even I mean there there are there been proposals because I I saw one this is been several years ago that would have funded the entire program all from an outside source and it never really gain traction so I I don't I don't have a good answer honestly yeah because they were there real competitive back where they used to have the payment on unite unlike you I'm from there I your school road games and had a need because every now and then you get old our senior political guys in the major leagues are those kind of pull the following in a I know that there's a lot of good for you baseball in Colorado all those kids they go out of state they may go play some more also I know that if somehow we put together came up there you know I think you'd be pretty good came after him and that was one of the big greasy but how are we going to the pac twelve to try to revive the baseball program I thought the same thing again I often wondered when they decided the pac twelve decided Hey we're gonna let you win their conference they didn't make that a stipulation like you got to get a baseball program this is a big baseball conference I thought that would have been part of the deal right thanks for the call Brian mentioned guys a played up there that went on in it it was it was a very competitive baseball program in the Big Eight brown of course the late great coach up there and gather first started me radio irv irv was yet Hector program may mean you look at John stars John Stearns was an all star catcher for the Phillies Jay Howell was a really good reliever for the Dodgers for number of years there there there was a lot of talent that went through that see you baseball program so because I've been asked over the years Billy ten fifteen times say what about getting baseball going to see you and I remember there was a concerted effort to to fund that program this is probably a ten twelve years ago before Rick George became the athletic director well before that and it was a program from that was put together by loans that would have funded the entire baseball program and for what ever the reason it gained absolutely no traction at all so I when people ask me I just shake my head and I I tell the truth you know what I don't have any idea if they will ever be another baseball program and see you were really who would not be in favor of it I just I just don't know I don't think you'd be up something you make money on it B. R. O. a loss I would think yeah well this place sports up there there are there are losers which sport well we've got a little small makes money but other than football all other patrons men's basketball I believe maybe women's basketball maybe does because they've been they've had a good program up there for a while I they have had a good program I I don't know if that's so that when you factor in all the the cost of travel and coaches in sure what they would average per game our football obviously does but tell me there are other sprite that all along they have they do have volleyball I think what they did when I was in school but I haven't paid attention to they not have anymore I think they do and none of those make money no no the footballs the one that they're actually funds pretty much every sport in college yeah you know big time football program but then when I was real expensive that's an expensive sport it is that's because I do you don't have football so their programs are funded by gymnastics hockey basketball basketball across so I can't imagine I I don't know if any of those hockey I would think would be the big money generator yeah for sure Ross I would maybe I mean they've got a nationally recognized across print that's almost just been more recently right yes don't know if you can make them you could check it out but I don't know if you can make enough money on those programs you know that you've got to have TV you got to have TV money coming in from the conference so I I don't know I think one of the ways should write because their private maybe but I would think a lot of these schools lose money on their sport that's why you've seen a lot of schools drop football if you can't draw like Long Beach state where I went dropped it in ninety one because you know they were they're getting ten thousand fifteen thousand people gave it you can't make enough money to the start of baseball yes I got a great yes it best Walter did fifty five our time stick around this is K. away Hey.

Jay Howell who checked in at nine pounds twenty two inches tall congradulations to mom and dad Brian Kylie how both long time employees the Blackhawks John Klingberg in his first game back after being out for six games with lower body injury the foot goal was what looked like an easy wrist shot room yes Sir Murphy in front yeah hit somebody to put the change directions the faceoff win for Dallas of their own in the days talk about them being a good faceoff team this chart shows that everybody gathers around the front of the net defenseman finds a little bit of a shooting lane there go through Dallas Stars player who was in front of the net the fear was real back in the lineup who is the hottest player for the Dallas Stars before he went out of the lineup so a little bit of a bad break for robin letter the hot spot you got a win faceoffs so one nothing stars five thirty left in the first years of the mall in Windsor Sexsmith short of the Dallas line the selected down in separate back together tearing up the left wing some memory Sacro drafted originally by the Buffalo Sabres to the hotline the left wing don't sit down the board to the corner instead of the right side running carpenter Duncan Keith the Kirby doc for the sars line down the right wing the low point forty four the boards the park at the centre racism was quickly done by both Duncan Keith who took it away defense at the park to the stars line what it took to the air down behind the whole put it in for football fox are taken away by doing so Alex to break at center ice tossing the stars when it came to deregulate circle the fourth one the picks up the book moves up the right wing to centre right the rebound shot by far to the flex up into the protective netting for twenty five left in the first one up in Dallas that was a five one two four Dallas Stars coming through facture cane Dylan Strome analogy to break it they had a rush coming down the ice breaker fires the shot it goes high and wide all three of the players stronger break it after Cain went for a big swing down deep in the zone the Dallas Stars all took off that was a five one two that is just sloppy defense of recognition by the four by the entire four line on that place the draw many reporters service center I circle the latter firing for the title of circle the glove save made by who told the circle was right this is the night so far the stars are gone away thirteen six of his tenth goal of the season he missed the last seven games but even come into the game tonight he was still leading the Dallas Stars goals go to further that he didn't take a shot on that but good things happen when office should pass robin letter good job by playing Burkholder make a little more with the blue line there hesitate back towards the board started the ice to find that shooting lane again as soon as the park with back everybody for Dallas look to the front of the net David right to Tyler second racing personalize one of the right wing what's the **** behind broken down battling along the boards three zero four eight out of ten reporter but the left wing he won the race in person with the stars one stopping along the left wing boards David to savor a great point he fires it toward the flex the goal the other night at the United center but I haven't seen in a long time he actually waited for the opportune moment then fired off the back of the helmet above the goaltender Curtis macaroni one but this time the fire from the right point the conventional way and everybody was in front of the net so that was a tough day for who the Albany or those of one of those plays that easily could have like the Dallas Stars gone off somebody's body the village where the back of the net just didn't put you have to have more of that Murphy from the right point not the game from he spends it on the board for the stars that rolls up the far side the Senate race will play Hanson Moxon fans on a shot then recover the portal on the left wing boards spends it down at the fourth quarter but Senate race to shot approval they gonna start one number few right points in on goal took off his chest lets it drop it was one old song eleven shot on goal for the hawks faceoff circle to who does what one of the Dow well we have passed the fifteen minute mark of the first sponsored by geico fifteen minutes could save you fifty percent or more on car insurance Dylan stroll Patrick Kane ballots to break it back out there for this part of the zone faceoff five to consider them before flying to the Dallas Stars but overall quality NHL players out there along with hardly I don't Blake cold hard working waiters Murphy takes a feed from Dylan Strome off the faceoff and fired a shot that deflected up into the protective netting still there what they'll do it again in the circle to who'd opens while radic fox up and Dylan Strome on the draw this is a match up that you you would hope that the Blackhawks would win in this game and get some good call the chances are we're gonna play for flight shutdown role against the Blackhawks top offensive line come out ahead of the offense of numbers stars get the puck can come out of there in place call one of our line put the puck in the zone cut way on a was already an offsides call face off comes to summarize he is sponsored by Papa Nicholas coffee think of your favorite ride at your preferred local grocers Papa Nicholas the facial coffee of Blackhawks radio gonna be **** and strolled again on the face off noon fox so when's it back into the stars engineer Alexey after former member of the Chicago steel of the USHL put the park over the haze cannon stars one right wing side of the box on the flexible linear pointed to stroll we became the different get all the stars two thirty six number one really big deal talking about this is a matter for the Blackhawks need to win if their top line is going to go up against a shutdown role you want to have this happen for a lot of he just takes off and he joins the plate well done by reminder to read the plate would open kinda awkwardly tried to make the same kind of falls over and six weeks between his pads it into the back of the net Blackhawks tied this one up with the Blackhawks goal jailed on a group of make a generous one hundred dollar donation to acid house Aurora Gerald cares for its first what console sponsored by content get discounts for the con ed energy efficiency program at con ed dot com slash waiting for all and if that's your team picked up the secondary assist on the play is there a twelve game point streak yeah yes he was wounded initially gave the collected a break it coming out of the hot zone yeah I I think he's going to get the system the place one of the fortune the glass doors the racers Dickinson rolling circle turning away the left wing boards holding the park down to the corner Roman yeah mark in the far corner personally trip by Kirby Dr but he lost the puck behind the bill system takes a hit but it adds accident at center ice across the stars one of the right wing pushed into the boards by sec rolling off the Focke we'll take it in front of his net and put it down in behind the stars net to John Klingberg thirty nine left in the first box instars tied at one now give away at sunrise Saad takes the puck back into the stars on down the road ways of finding out that Tate days try to center this is picked up by one down to fifty five percent rise Seeburg wax it over to the home on the left the tapes of those stars wind aside right point fires a shot got it back the park over the left wing boards the latter will put down to the corner there Lindberg posted behind the stars in the near corner window moves at the left wing down at center ice to settle down the right into the corner good corner hi slot fired a shot deflected wide we work for the right point Dr Ben Ben now right circle time to fire across the ring picked up my knee lander who's just able to put it over wanted to summarize his took effect in March shop Walker say made by letter go on menu boards will send the focus of all the way down I sing called against all this to her in a better effort from ours the letter that's that's putting it nicely tired line okay are but he just tries to stick cattle at the royal blue line ship that park in now you because of icing and the letter is still out there on the ice fortunately for the Blackhawks at least Brandon Saad caves got off the ice Dylan strolls gonna have to what a big face off here the tire defects were still out there Lucifer strolled far corner bending office star strawberry wine okay the center right over the local folks it into the right reporter starts in Rome so the Lexus into the boards floated in behind the stars now at the far side he's got a he's back in was the store might point soon after the for the new four seconds left in the seventies his easily stopped by robin we got a track meet going down here in Dallas one one is to score twenty seven shots on goal total fifty by the stars and twelve to the hawks I tell you what if this pace continues try these guys are all going to sleep really well tonight at six point of we have all of the Blackhawks are going to give up chances but they're going to train credo the exactly the way that period when they work great thrown into the ice robin letter talked about him all season long his play drops off a black rocks are going to be in trouble because they're still giving up too many call the chances against but the other side of the ice I thought a much better purpose to their games getting parts of bodies towards the front of the net that was one of the keys to the game so I thought they did an excellent job in that area to create secular third chances and really have a purpose that once you get the offense of zone that we're gonna get guys to the front of the net more for those read out opportunities by the way Patrick Kane did pick up the secondary assist she's got nineteen assists on the season points eleven twelve straight games I should say we've got twenty one points what is assessed sponsored by Chevy drive
