"It means that you're not gonna let your family members or your in laws or your siblings or your friends or your peers or your haters dictate. What you're going to do because all they all these people. There's some good people around you. But there's also some bad people around you that are jealous and insecure and they want to watch from the sidelines and critique rather than make action and do things great and this is helping you find a way to do things great because everybody can talk trash and everybody can talk about what they wanna and hey one day. I'll do this. This is making day one. Start now so it's not one day it's day one and no more excuses. Don't listen to the noise. Focus on the day by day. The play by play the moment by moment you know small goals small wins taking the stairs. Not the elevator and making no excuses. We all have challenges. We all have problems. We all have dealt with some kind of adversity insecurity jealousy. We've all done that. We all some worse than others. My life definitely wasn't the worst by no means but what was big in hurtful and strong for me was my problems i had to overcome. And that's what people need to look at. Is the glass half full and that they control their destiny and not let any kind of noise or outside influence. Really give them an excuse to not take that leap of faith to be who they are intended to be. Let's talk own legacy. How would you like your legacy to be remembered as an entrepreneur on fire. Well with our company. Now i want to do some kind of public or event where everybody in the company can have a life changing event. I think that that's important because the company is built on our employees and they're the ones that are the foundation of it. And i want to reward them. But so that's part of like professional legacy on a personal legacy or as an entrepreneur and an influence or out there. I just want to empower enough people to be better. You know the world is a tough spot. And it's not getting easier and i just want to know that i've helped and empowered and encouraged enough people to do the right thing to get through things and to be who they wanted to be and i always say successes and isn't money. Success isn't job title. Successes filling that hole in that void of having gratitude and happiness inside and having fulfillment and so if i can share and help people find that then to me. That's that's a big enough legacy jason. Let's end with a bang. I wanna talk about own your power. I mean you've already chatted about the principles a lot of them and of course no excuses life but a fire nation wants to learn more. Where would they go to pick up this book. What any other final call to action to me. You have in ways that we can connect with you and then we'll say goodbye all right now. You can do the preorder amazon. You just put an own your power and you'll find it there. It's amazon preorder for the audio book. If you do do a priori get a swag bag with some cool shirts. And you're going to get a bonus chapter of another book. I'll do called bam building a movement And you can visit me at. Jason waller bam on social media or jason waller facebook and instagram linked in. And then you can always follow the true underdog podcast and you go to jail or dot com and get all of that but Yeah i think to leave a message for everybody is is listen. Today is day one not one day so try to make that change today. Don't get discouraged looking all the way at the top of the staircase thinking. You can't get there. Look at each step as a goal..

"Come on the hills cast slash wells. Cast jason. Waller how are you my man doing good man. How're you appreciate you having me back. Yeah i mean. I was out of town i was. I was working over mexico film. Vip so amy. And i believe danielle filled in for me last week. And they had your beautiful bride on the show. And i was listening back and you girl didn't hold the punches last week and i kinda loved it will now man enough gets enough and we fought very hard for where we're at when you talk about very sensitive stuff that we've lived through and and You hear those types of things you know you're going to get the the real raw side. It's you know there was some. There was some very hurtful moments that is that transpired. We had you on the show earlier in the season. And you kinda teed it up for us or teased it a little bit and then seeing it. I think i was even a little more disgusted by it. If i'm being completely honest with you. I mean we've talked about you. Know your recovery on this show and i've always applauded you. For how honest. You are and out transparent. You are amidst a world of people who i think are less than that. I think i told you maybe last season that it's something that hits home for me because i lost two cousins to substance abuse issues and it's so not something to joke around about or make light of or even use against people in arguments and when spencer said what he said at that dinner party. I was like you've really crossed the line here. Regardless of who's right or who's wrong. That was very very out of bounds and it was funny to see the group collectively go. Whoa not cool. it was neck level. It was next level. And i think the biggest part of that is for those. That don't remember is we. Were trying to develop a relationship last season right. We are trying to be open and friendly with the rats. And i opened up to him about some very vulnerable stuff and he ended up utilizing using that as ammo down the road. It's just totally unacceptable. uncalled for and it just goes to show that how you know uneducated and naive they are when it comes to substance abuse and mental health and what people really go through on on a daily struggle like you said seeing the cast response to. It was basically what you all you needed to see. How distasteful and disrespectful. It was just seems like that. No one really wants to be friends with them like they're just kind of there because they're a part of the show. Everyone's kind of done with their shit. Yeah but also you can see through this episodes. People don't also don't wanna to deal with the rat them because it become you become an obsessive target whereas for us is like we're going to stick up for what's right we're not. We could care less and getting into it with them. But ross we're gonna stand our ground or Alright their crap dude. It's childish to get engaged with that. Unfortunately it was a big part of our life. I mean we were around them for you know the last thirteen months and it's not just as easy as being able to separate from that especially when you constantly hear it. I think the really sad part is it was actually a lot worse than what they even showed really there was. There was more that you did not see me. And ashley got elected each other last night watching reich. While they didn't even there was a lot more stuff the comment that they made the big. The big thing that spencer said was around the relapse and different stuff like that but There were still comments in conversations. That i'm surprised they didn't show even show. You know how distasteful it really got so it was worse than what we saw. It was worse. Yes and much longer. It was a probably. I wanna say maybe seven to ten minute conversation that ended up taking place to the point of where heidi and spencer were booed out. Basically really now man. It was to the point. Where i've done these shows for since two thousand five right and i've never had producers come up to us after and be like you'd like literally like in tears like you guys. Okay yeah it was a gnarly gnarly moment. I'm not looking for sympathy. Look the the last thing in the world that's going to get under my skin and drive me to a a bad place is going to be spencer height. It's not going to be the case but it was you know. It was just very distasteful despair. Disrespectful i applaud you for keeping your cool. I relate so much to your wife because it seemed like she was dislike and like lost in mind like gloves off like what to say right. You are super cool. Like i was amazed at like how chill you were but you did say something. Funny where you're like. You're the same can weirdo that you were fifteen years ago which i think that i just wonder if there was some response to that that we didn't see 'cause i just i kind of rolled out when you said that it was priceless. You came back with like trying to throw some more low. Blows at ashley and i. It just got to the point right as looked at him. And i said spencer kick rocks from like. You're not even worth our time you know and that's really where it was at as it was very frustrating. It was very hard to try to stay in that state of mind. But i constantly keep saying to myself like he's not worth that he's not worth it. Stay calm stay. Cool stay Replaying that in my head because he's not out it's not an i know what the i think. That's what it comes down to is. I know the truth I know where i'm at in my life and my journey and or my family's at were very happy very content. You know not to sound contradicting the the real triggering factor of this when you become open and vulnerable somebody in the use. Use it against you. It's it's just. That's where i guess. Shame on me right for expecting them to do other than than what they did. Yeah you should never weaponize someone's vulnerability that's just not a cool thing. I have a theory. Okay and i'm just going to throw it out there you can. You can engage your. You can let it pass. Justin bobby and brody are talking about the blow up like on the ski mountain when they're like tubing or whatever you know brody keeps on being like well you know like spencer's my boy and you know I don't wanna get in the middle of it. And i'm sitting there. Thinking spencer's got some dirt on brody and he just doesn't want to get in the crosshairs and had that happened to him on tv. The rest of the cast. I really liked you. Know what i mean. So i'm not going to say you know i. I really enjoy their company. They're good people. I don't know what it is. I think that the majority of the cast is not wanna get in the middle of the wrath. Whatever that may be. Because i mean you hear people say that often is that they don't want to be in the middle of it because the pratt's are very very resilient when it comes to want to get across a message whether it be true or not. I wonder if they're going to be victims of their own circumstances like they are going to have a hand in building their own demise. It's very obvious that they very desperately wanna stay in the spotlight. Their shows called like make spidey famous again. Or whatever you know. It's very very obvious like what they're trying to do. And i and. I applaud them for that like. They're very laser focused on it. They've been for a very long time positive affirmation for bad behavior in their mind how to continue to be on this show and continue to be relevant on the hills is to constantly kind of like stir up drama. I wonder if eventually people are going to be like dude. You can't be on this thing if you're not friends with any of us anymore. Like a doesn't make any sense. Yeah no but. I think it's also got a point though where it's it's very apparent to me like really looking and sitting back and see in this like it's sad man. I mean they're they're sick. Sick lost individuals. I mean that's the way i see it. I mean. I really feel bad for them. Does based on what you're saying in what they're going to try to gain that attention like are obviously like my heart goes out to them because i feel like they're very lost. It's taken me a long time to get to that place To to really sympathize with that would after looking at it. It's like i. I hope them. Well you know. I mean i know where i'm going to..

"Yeah. I mean i mean compared to women i knew i own normal like all the other guy would go on a double date. Okay okay so the other couples in there is the recovering addict. What's his name. What is his name. And then the blonde wife are their names off the tech somebody. I forgot i used serious. They're so bad. So here's dame's i just is nobody else. They always everybody. That comments tax me isn't there. Jason wallers is that his name. That sounds familiar name. So it's jason wallers related and he was on the show years ago the first season folk ten seconds and then he gets his wife they get married and they have one child. She's pregnant with another. He's a year sober. And what i watching right now is you. Guys are in lake tahoe and they. She's very upset because she hears that. You don't believe he's really sober. Okay rewind so last time we filled in this last season. We did this. It's exactly how everything's happening. Yeah and then it ends. It comes out. He was using the whole time. So so i'm just saying i don't know this guy. I've taught right an hour in my whole life and i was getting paid to listen. I was listening that much so literally the exact same stick. So all i'm saying is like i don't know this guy. He lives in orange county s seen once in two years last time. The whole time story sobered all the little axe and he then comes out. I was on adderall. Doing what i was used blah blah blah. So all i'm saying is again. I don't know what this guy's doing. And then brody obviously you know the producers told make it if nothing and he goes and tells them spencer saying you're doing drugs and alcohol. It's like i. I didn't say that second of i would say that because i don't care and if i thought would make the senior probably would have said it because i don't know what you're doing if i were to bet i was going gambler i would say may i would. I don't trust anything you say. I think you're a pathological liar. So yeah so yes. That's the big drama and then on tomorrow night's episode where it gets so bad is so he confronts me at the dinner. Yeah he calls me a weirdo with no france. And he and. I had i mean. I'm definitely weirdo either. Lisa kudrow friends. You know. I don't not say you know bragging about my level of friendships but i choose not to have any friends. It takes a lot of time to friends. Yes so i again. He's he's so intense and he's fighting with me and it kept probably comes out wrong on the show because yes i've been drinking. It was a show. He's dead sober. I'm feeling cornered. And i say because all i ever hear this guy talk about is not like everything is triggering which i'm not saying. It's not you know his story. Foucault i in my so. I'm confused like this. Is not how i said it but how you know if i was a lawyer i would've said i'm confused because all you're doing talking about being triggered and how you're almost always relapsing why you fighting with a drunk person thirty at night at a party. I didn't say that. I don't want you to relapse. So everyone's ooh being scuba psyche. I'd say it again. I really don't want that like this. Seems like a not from what. I've heard about recovering people. This seems like how you relapse get into fight with a drunk person. you know about motion. This seemed like a talk. We should out over bagels and cream cheese at ten. Am by the snow. The lake in the morning do you. So this'll be the big. Oh my god so breaking news because you and heidi of any other for so long and it seemed to have a fabulous marriage in connection that maybe that is why you don't really care about friends like you're so ear twined each other and you have your you like so enjoy each other that you're like i don't care if i see other people i mean but i do have friends would never be on tv. And don't have instagram real friend. You've cast you had a fourth of july party so you have these. So do you have other attractive. Thirty-something mommy and little kill. They're all dead so they wouldn't be on. We could do realize palisades and knock. Beverly hills ottawa beyond rich ritual. Except for these few unique cases nano to know like the average these ones before nannies and the great lie. You want to be on your i g story right. They don't want you're showing there. Yeah i totally. Don't blame them so to grant of i was to be on your vanderpump. It's all of our product employee's There you'll be the real hungry. They're the same. Hunger only worked for us for three years thinking the show is coming. You know you're much they'd be on the hills you know. That's what i only reason. They work for us. Okay yeah oh which now. It's time i pretty much say like it's on you guys now. So here's the lisa vanderpump now more. Heidi she's like the real boss. I just have crystal buying spending of it problems okay. So let's talk about some things other things going on. I i have to ask what's going on with your sister stephanie. She is because we everyone was very upset with me. Impose guys getting some way. I mean i am. I was very fat so good for her to you know acknowledge it on the internet. Like people don't have is thanks is so it's all good mean about heidi. Heidi looks great and she was like. Oh congrats to my sister-in-law being pregnant and she wasn't pregnant which is also really fucking shitty when you're trying to get pregnant and she's not fat and she was poking at because it was like you know it was the night the new season of the hills so sure but it was her choice. Obvious she wanted to ninety five thousand and episode which is probably the hills budget for hanging over the whole tires production. Happy if she'd come on that's a that's a strong word you know like whatever makes her happy where i don't get posted. Yes is happy. I'm fine okay. So what she will. Obviously you guys same ship spent since we're fifteen sixty like there's no. This is not what your mom told me. i can't dear. Is that with all the similarities. That we have your mom. And i that i talked about how as a debutante and she said your sister. Was i think national charity league or something debutante ball and you were hurt date or something. Did you guys go together. Or you wasn't even invited my mom. I was separately in concilium. But i had nothing to do with her debutante thing. Did you go to the debutante. I don't even think i was invited. I went to my own. I was in where you can tell you know the rivera and i would go to those things when you were little..

"The travel industry has taken a major hit because of covid nineteen and today's listener. Today's qna wednesday question from jim is spot on. How do you pivot. How do you change how to make something happen. When you took such a blow. I recognize the truth of the matter. The truth of the matter is because of covid. people can't travel or at least depending on the country. You're on the can't travel easily or safely. This is a suction we all say to ourselves. But it's partly true. Can't travel maybe internationally but people can do some traveling like a road trip even if you're in a country like australia where they really are super super strict when it comes to the covert restrictions where the close the borders between states like. You can't leave the for example. New south wales which is a stash rilya when there are a few cases pop up. You know the borders get close but you can travel within new south wales. So let's just define the problem. You can't travel internationally. travel blogger. the world's your choice ter- and there's so much material out there but this is an opportunity for you to create a different stream of income a different <hes>. Chapter in your business career. Local travel road trips exploring. What's in your backyard. And of course you could start with your own local area but just because you can't go somewhere. Let's say for example. You can't go to australia and <hes>. Help people in their local area to do some local travel you can curate some content curate. Some ideas from other videos other blogs and serve your audience for example in new south wales in australia. You can go to beaches. You can go to the blue mountains. You can go skiing. In the winter. In kosciusko mountain you can go to byron bay which is scored like a yoga hippie. Beachie vibe you can go. There's so many options within the state and people are hungry for break right so this is another option. Just kind of pivoting your business. Creating maybe books guys videos courses live. Coaching calls summits events where you help people or guide them to travel. Locally is easy for us to focus on problems and not think about. What can i do rather than i can't do. So yes you can't travel internationally but you can locally or you can help people travel locally another thing that comes to mind when it comes to travel blogging. It's like hey. I usually do. Exotic locations like how to go to vietnam for two weeks under three thousand dollars or backpacking around europe. And these are not really options anymore for your target audience. Yes they can't travel now but any of these trips will require planning and planning can be done anywhere. For example nicole took eight weeks and did a bit of traveling in europe and that trip took about nine months. The plan we did with some friends of ours. Jason and carolina zuck with a lot of fun. But there's a lot of coordination especially you want to many countries the different modes of transport. Those flying this train. There's renting cars there's accommodations their sites. They wanna see in each city. There's downtime there's beaches there <hes>. You wanna shop so it takes time to plan a trip like that and for most people. They're not going to go on a trip. Like i gotta go to europe every day or go to vietnam every day or go to costa rica so they want to make the most and planning is a part of that and in my opinion planning is a big part of the fun of going on a big epic journey. A big trip is a travel blogger. You can really hone in on the planning part the preparation part of actual travel. And that's from the bag of tricks. Of rick steves <hes>. He really focuses on the planning. You can do the same and you can even do <hes>. A little bit of a niche thing like budget or luxury and you can even just down a little bit and either do luxury travel or budget travel or to travel in a big group that type of thing and this is actually a good time to do it because you know people are starting to see. Hey maybe we are on the other side of cova. The vaccine is how maybe in six seven nine months. It's possible to travel somewhere. Maybe in a year and that's just enough time to get the planning going to have everything sorted out so when you can't travel it's all planned out. You're all set. You're all excited. You're all packed and you're ready to go so planning is a big part of that so maybe spend some time focusing on that on your block. What to pack <hes>. Luggage what to buy beforehand. What about travel insurance. These are all ways for you to really have revenue streams where you can do amazon associates and get commissioned when you recommend certain products items. I always say when it's downtime in your business for example in the software world and the bbc world december january notorious for being slow. So when it's slow when you're having a downtime it's a great time for you invest in content. So if right now things are a little slow in your travel blog. This a chance for you to really invest the time in building a youtube channel in writing a book on your travels and why you should travel or where you should travel to travel guides because it's going to take some time for you to create this content publish it put on the world market and by time it's all set and done people will start thinking about traveling again and it's an asset that you can use forever. It's not like you write a book and you only can sell it tomorrow. You could sell it for years to come. and of course it's trout guide. You can use as a basis to sir. Updating it year after year the other day our team at women ninja were running. Some webinars get. We like to use their own software and one of our team members. Cj she sharing some photos from our last <hes>. Team retreat in bali and we were reminiscent with these photos. And who's just reminding is a how much of a great time we had on that trip. I thought to myself how many people take all these photos when the epic trips and they never look at them they never reminisce. They never really looked at it. And say wow what a great time. Those are ray positive feelings and more people should do that to remember the good times. remember the travels. So that's something you can lead that something that you can create for your community a weekly webinar where somebody can share their last trip. Share the photos share what they learn. Share their favorite memories. Everybody in the webinar can experience that plays virtually and get really excited about when they're going to go and see that place and of course if they're doing the sharing gives them a chance to rekindle their love for travel.

"Freddie wants around her own in-person conference for her blog. baking blog in twenty twenty one. Do i think she should do that. It's a big question. And i'm gonna give you two scenarios one. I definitely think you should not do a conference in twenty twenty one and the second scenario i would say with these caveats. It may not be a bad idea. So when or what scenario do i think. It's a bad idea to run a conference in person conference in two thousand twenty one here. We go. well i. I want to say that we are not out of the woods. Okay <hes> even the vaccine is on. Its way it's going to take a wild. For most of the countries around the world's population to be vaccinated we fully vaccinated. And even with the vaccination they say you know masks social distancing is still going to be in which makes it very hard for in person conferences so if your conference is more than fifty people i would say i wouldn't do it because is going to be hard to find a venue where you can social distance one half meters away from each other with people that are you know one hundred people in a conference two hundred. That's a very tough. If you're attracting people outside your local area if this is just maybe a local meet up or maybe just within your stay or your city <hes>. I would say okay. Maybe you know that way you can kind of control the numbers and you don't have to worry about travel but if you're attracting people from across your country as well as a from overseas and other countries flying and getting on a plane and you know traveling internationally is still going to be very difficult in two thousand twenty one which will hinder the success of your conference. There are a lot of variables that will be out of your control for your conference. It'd be successful. Conferences are about socializing and getting to know people and high fives. You know that's just not going to jive with covid. Nineteen even as we roll into twenty twenty one. I think this is going to be a very interesting year. Because we're going to have to transition into maybe what is going to become our normal the first three months. We're not going to two different from twenty twenty. It's gonna take some time as we ramp up and have everybody vaccinated now if you have a small conference a small meet up less than fifty people. It's in a local area. You can social distance and you're planning to do it at the end of two thousand eight hundred q four then i would say okay. Even if that's the case i would definitely make sure your venue will refund you. If you're unable to do because of code restrictions have an easy system to refund tickets to your you know conference attendees if whatever equipment are swag that you you can use in you know the next year or the next time you can do the conference i would take all these precautions the issue with a conference that you need a lot of lead time to sell the tickets especially if you are trying to sell over one hundred tickets so you need to announce a venue a date well in advance three months in advance at least and with covert. It's hard to plan. This is why my gut reaction was like. Hey if you can avoid running conference in two thousand twenty one if you can do it virtually if he could do a summit if you can do something in twenty twenty two i would feel a lot. More confident <hes>. That you'd have a lot more in your control to succeed now. I've seen a lot of in person. Conferences pivot to doing virtual some. Its virtual conferences <hes>. Online and they actually did a pretty decent job. A lot of people have enjoyed online conferences because there are less expensive. They're easy to run. They're easier to attend a lot easier for you to get people to attend because there's no barrier of travel you know even if there was no covid so you're going to get more attendees <hes>. Leads more sales all that kind of stuff. You can make an interactive. You can make fun. You can really do your best and by the way as your first time conference. Doing a virtual conference online might be a good way for you to just work out the kinks. It's a good. Mvp of in person conference. Should I plan an in-person event in 2021?

"Freddie wants around her own in-person conference for her blog. baking blog in twenty twenty one. Do i think she should do that. It's a big question. And i'm gonna give you two scenarios one. I definitely think you should not do a conference in twenty twenty one and the second scenario i would say with these caveats. It may not be a bad idea. So when or what scenario do i think. It's a bad idea to run a conference in person conference in two thousand twenty one here. We go. well i. I want to say that we are not out of the woods. Okay even the vaccine is on. If you're attracting people outside your local area if this is just maybe a local meet up or maybe just within your stay or your city I would say okay. More confident That you'd have a lot more in your control to succeed now. I've seen a lot of in person. Conferences pivot to doing virtual some. Its virtual conferences Online and they actually did a pretty decent job. A lot of people have enjoyed online conferences because there are less expensive. They're easy to run. They're easier to attend a lot easier for you to get people to attend because there's no barrier of travel you know even if there was no covid so you're going to get more attendees Leads more sales all that kind of stuff. You can make an interactive. You can make fun. You can really do your best and by the way as your first time conference. Doing a virtual conference online might be a good way for you to just work out the kinks. It's a good. Mvp of in person conference. "Mario Lopez Lopez to wrap up which, and Ashley Waller talking the hills, new beginnings. So who's changed the most spaces person? Faces Stephanie has the most beautiful work done ever. And she's a dear friend of mine, and she looks in her would agree with that. She looks like a porcelain doll. I love her. Yes. Grave. Who has changed? Well, you. Yeah. Man. Yeah. If you went from from from being too now clan, pretty dramatic when we actually went on connecting with producers against, I mean, they said, you know, your stories a complete one eighty so it's, it's pretty cool. That, but I think overall, I think there's a lot of people may change to the show. I mean, everybody's growing in their own particular ways certain people. Mary, turn people have kids now and, and some people haven't changed. So overall is is this experience? What you thought it would be getting into it. You know, I think I have mixed feelings. I definitely feel very fortunate to have been a part of the series, I think once I walked, maybe I'll feel different about it. But I think I played true too. I am really authentic and raw with my personality. I have a very strong opinion about things people may not like that or they may love it. I'm proud of the person that I was, and it's really to share our story of recovery. I think it's the first time on television that you'll be able to see like a full family dynamic of what looks like with. That struggle with substance abuse. Right. It's cool poorly different. "I was always in the middle trying to mediate some sort of, like argument I feel like there was like always so much tension in, like even the vowel noodles. And all that stuff like. Like I don't I'm not going to spoil anything, but that was insane. That was like that was like craziness. I was like what is happening right now? I think that they just don't like us, and that's fine. And it's like then just be honest with that. Don't pretend. But that's but that's, but that's, that's crazy. Because like I honestly like he stranger so we only talked to her. That's the difference, Heidi Spencer Brody, how so much history Caitlyn. We've had I honestly, talked to my Uber driver like to Hollywood longer than I've ever talked like so she's literally a stranger. She's I somebody, I bumped into that was walking out of a Mobil gas station bathroom like that's who she is. It's insane. You know what's funny is like, I guess, certain people just don't vibe. In this weird because I don't have that relationship with, with kaylin. I feel like me and her get along. But like with me and Michel, like I don't remember talking to her at all this whole series you were putting her bed me shit was following the sprinter in her own car. She went to ride with us. We weren't allowed our own car. So that's treatment that's special treatment, that's my only thing with me show, as she really has had special treatment from day one to the beginning, and I've complained about it, too, and I'm like, look, I, that's a frustrating situation because everyone is equal here. And that's what I even said to me. I'm like, look, we've spent our lives in this franchise and building this. And so if you think you can come in and phone something in. That's not gonna happen. I think that changed, and she fully heard what I said, too. I was able to like voice that opinion. I just can't wait for everyone to see stuff. And he's coming home party kin, wait. I think the frustrating thing is that it's just really a one sided argument. You know, like what's going on, is just really challenging, because nothing's changed in years. And then all of a sudden there's cameras, and it's heightened. So I wish her the best, I really have no problem with her. I never have never fought with her. Never had a problem. So looks crazy. So unfortunate put mation you. Right now. Give us your little Tibet on every cast member. What do you think? Let's start with me show me show. I think media has a lot more to offer. And she does have a really interesting story. And yeah. I mean that's really what I think, like, you know, like she has a lot more to offer, and people want to hear that from our people were obsessed with her, and people wanna see more people want to know how you really are. That's what I think about Michel. I think you guys are. Pretty transparent like living your real lives and, and being the entertainers that you are, and that's why I respect you guys. And that's why like you guys. And that's why hang out with you guys. I think Brody and Caitlyn have a really interesting dynamic. And I would love to see more of that it's hard for me to say I would love to see more of that because I know everything. And I am really good friends with them. I'm really close with them. And so, I mean, like I don't, and they filmed a lot on their own that I have no idea what happened. I have no idea what happened. So. Don smeller. Okay. In, I honestly for some reason, really, Jason Waller is for me hilarious. I think he's hilarious, and I thank him, and his wife are hilarious together, and they start they're not afraid to, like stay quiet. Which is actually like surprising for me. I thought Jason Ashley would be a lot more quiet than they were. Refreshing. Yeah. Frankie and Jen are just goals. I think they're hilarious. Jen, just has such a good energy about her Frankie as well..

Yeah, I don't I don't have to be on the dot. Recent really did have this conversation about like 'cause they're talking about getting shape? Whatever, whatever. Definitely had the fun group in Ellis about year press tour because we weren't on yours argue because she didn't like gear group. She didn't like me and my group. What was the we heard you being mean to her? What what's that all about? Yeah. Jessica sorry, Jessica, did you guessed? I mean, I don't think I was being mean I think more than anything people are just fake these days, and they can sit and they considered as being honest mean almost like trying to out here trying to do my job trying to promote the show trying to, you know, give everybody something good to listen to. And when people just want to repeat, the same Bush over and over and over at no I mean, she just I don't know. Look, this isn't a the hills, isn't it? I take being on the hills is a big responsibility. There's a huge. There's a huge old fan base that respects the original that was obsessed with the original and I, I am trying to do the original Justice with being open giving. Interesting parts of my life. Just like respecting the process and some people don't want to respect the process, or open up or really. Give the people anything, you know, they just want to sometimes taken opportunity as a platform to showcase this fake persona. That's very put together in and formulated. And that pisses me off. How are you? Hi, how are you? Dr. I wish I was a doctor because then I could retire with all my money. What is your question? I'm calling because I have. Two thousand nine oh, I'm sorry. You know what? Take. I know there's no cure. But I Don. I should stay active. Oh. Ryan she has helped my watching. All right. So let us try and at your question, Dr Hala. So I would definitely see a functional medicine practitioner and do further testing. Okay. So Tessa cortisol hormone has all the hormones. Check check test your gut, okay? And do further testing to see you know, what we need to address naturally. Okay. Have you ever done any quarters or hormone testing or testing, the gut? No, I haven't. Okay. So I would definitely recommend that for you. Dr messy, well, basically, a mass fit all this complication is simple stem muscle nerve atrophy. For most part, we talked about the heart atrophy. Earlier when it comes to the basically one of the reason why are young adults having a heart attack because they're your heart gets weak. So with the heart happened to your strongest muscle. We're going to talk about what are the what are how do you find the best places for these things? Correct. Jason. Well, yeah, I think it's important that you know, there's obviously been a lot of talks in the public around how you know treatment facilities have taken advantage of the system, and you know, do treatment centers really actually offer quality care and can be effective for people obtain recovery. And I think it's really important because treatment does work in recovery as possible, but it's very important to make sure you look and find the right places. It's a vetting process. You know, and you can't just like again going back to Dr Massie. You can't go to doctor Google or Dr Yahoo. Because those are all add spaces are all, you know. And don't get me wrong. There's good places that are on the on online that you can bat, but it's really how do you better treatment facility to make sure it's appropriate for your loved one. How do you do? Well, I mean, the first things first there's a whole bunch of stuff and all this kind of run through a bullet list. And I'd love to get your guys is insight. You know, what your thoughts are? But as you know, really research who owns the facility, you know, look at the doctors and look at what they're credentials are look who's, you know, who's running the facilities actually look at what the credentialed with the credentials of the. Doctors are. How often do you see the doctor, you know, what are the credentials of the therapist? And the case manager how often you senior case Andrea should be seeing the minimum once if not twice a week, both, you know, what is the weekly schedule. Look like, you know, what services are they providing do. They have a family program. What does their after care program? Look like do they have an alumni program? You know, talk with an alumni actually speak with people that have gone through the program. And a big thing that I recommend is actually take a tour of the facility get hands on actually get to the program and look look through, you know, look through what they're offering ask questions on the tour, you know, speak to a resident. Do they practice evidence based treatment modalities? I mean, those are that's just a bullet pointed list of things that people should ROY look at when they're going to vet a place and really look at it. You know, and those are those are key components. You know, I had a friend who went to one of these quasi treatment facility, and then outpatient basis, and one of the things we would have in depth conversation. He goes I'm going here every day. Right. I'm there for three to six hours. And I'm having these people talk to me, but I'm in I'm in a group of like forty people. And I don't know if I'm getting the treatment says he sees his case manager every couple of a couple of weeks at best or the therapist. Maybe every month is that the type of place you wanna go. No. And that's again, it goes back to the vetting process. You know, it's actually very important that people do the due diligence before they get in there. Because when you talk to the person that's on the line when you call, and you're actually you're speaking to the admissions line, you know, those people are there a lot of the times they're sellers there used car salesman. They're trying to sell you their product and stuff like that. And again is it doesn't mean there's not good ones out there. But it's also to make sure that you have your quipped the right questions to ask and make sure that you can actually hold them accountable. What they're saying..

Well, as far as what I see in my clinical practice for the past twenty years. I should there is a lot of emphasis on high blood pressure and a lot of attempt to lower at different type of drugs. What it is a Dima water retention, whatever is irregular heartbeat or whether it's lowering the blood pressure with a combination of two or sometimes even three different family of high blood pressures. But I don't shave as an emphasis on day. Low blood pressure. I do not see even day. Does you come into my office? Do have a regular alter sound their doctor don't do it regular basis. We don't know day routine and one of the most important part of the heart, which is a pump. What I call. How strongly that blot out put as it is something called ejection fraction. But that's interesting question between you on your practitioner, but basically when it drops to less than fifty. We're talking about the risk of congestive heart failure put him on the heart is either too weak. Steph, whether you can't pump out or whether it cannot a late enough to get the blood ENA before they systolic basically pressure can push to blot out. So I won't. Brings us up to our listeners a change fan that they need to be having an open dialogue with cardiologists. General practitioners, nurses, doctors natural pats to focus on the low because as we talked about last week in Portugal or woman and the young woman. "Estimates are free. There's a new man in charge. Green Bay sidewalk. Very best coach and a coach that won't bring the Packers back to winning Super Bowls. Matt leflore as the next Packers head coach, we expect better. And we know we can be better keep it right here for the latest Packers new swear ball home of the Green Bay Packers since nineteen twenty nine News Radio WTMJ, Milwaukee. History o'clock. I'm John Mercure. The Packers set to introduce their next head coach Packers president, Mark Murphy GM, Brian good accounts and the man himself, Matt leflore. Let's go live to Titletown. This is Packers presidents very exciting day for the Packers. Great great day for the organization. I'm very excited to be here today to introduce that leflore as our next head coach. I believe we found a great fit for the organization and this community and really excited for people. Here are players people throughout the building in the community to meet math. But I want to thank a number of people. I are search committee was. This is an I'll talk a little bit about the process. But over the last month, we've put a lot of time and effort into finding the right person. And our search committee was crucial in that members of the search committee, our Brian Guten, he was instrumental in this whole process just really great to work with Russ ball. Our executive vice president was there. I'll talk a little bit more about their involvement, particularly, but those two were crucial in the process an invaluable to me. Also policy was involved in the search, Nicole Dina, our vice president of human resources, and Jason Waller's who obviously you all know. And was was very very helpful at all as well. Also wanted to thank our leadership council of our players. They were very very helpful to me and Brian in the process the day after the season ended, Brian and I sat down with the leadership councils, those are leaders from every position group on the team till nine different players and didn't talk about specific candidates. Talked had a really good conversation talk for quite a bit of time about what they want what they look for in head coach and also talked about the team and some of the issues that they saw within the team, and it was really really instrumental in in terms of forming. My thoughts on what we needed in terms of the next head coach also wanted to thank the candidates. We ended up interviewing ten candidates. They were excellent all great NFL. Coaches. There was a lot of diversity and really enjoyed. And we learned a lot the process. You learn a lot about yourself about the different candidates. And I thought the process work very well. I do want to give special mention to one of the candidates, and that's Joe Philbin. Little most here. There's not a finer man that you will ever meet then Jeff Elvin, and what he has done for this organization over the years and particularly want to thank him for what he did under difficult circumstances coming in as interim coach and what he did for us during those four weeks. I just have tremendous respect for him. Wanted just to acknowledge that. Terms of the terms of the process it really started in early December that first week of December. And I. I think by making the coaching change during the season in really gave us a big advantage. I mentioned before the. The search committee over that that first month we met on a regular basis, we did all kinds of background research on different candidates. We make calls we vetted candidates. And so we really we had a we cast and you'll see obviously, we cast a fairly large net, but it was much much larger than the ten people we interviewed, and it really I thought the committee worked well, and it really by getting that head start. It really allowed us once season ended to hit the ground running with our search. Other things I wanted to talk to we talk about we talked to people on the NFL NFL's advisory council that was extremely helpful. They former coaches former general managers really provide a lot of insight. I do wanna get special. Mention to Charley Casserly is kind of a little bit of the leader of that advisory council. I think I've mentioned it before charleena roommates. And go way back and really have tremendous respect for Charlie also talked to people from the fits Fritz Pollard alliance. And also we're able to watch all of the search committee. Members watched a videotape interviews at the NFL provided. And so we watched that for we watch those for all the candidates. We ended up interviewing and that was really helpful to see the consistency. Between what we were seeing live and interviews they made in the past. And we also use that as a way to bet some of the candidates, and then because we had some time in December Brian Ross ball, and I were able to interview two candidates during the end of the season December. Against wrong candidates. I thought for Brian and Ross, and I it was really helpful. I think every time every time we interviewed somebody. We got a little better at the process and really felt good about that. So then once the season ended we were ready to go Wednesday. We sat down and interviewed Joe Philbin. He was he was the first candidate he interviewed after the season ended. And then I wanna talk a little bit about the Friday to Sunday interviews so during that time, we ended up interviewing seven candidates. It was a little bit of a whirlwind. And I should be remiss if I didn't give give thanks to a number of people, I Linden who falls and putting the logistics together. So you know, I mean, we went from Green Bay and New England to Memphis, which stopped. We're we're going to run a fuel. We're on the way to New Orleans apparently. Betty strong have win New Orleans and Miami and Nashville, and it was crazy trying to get everything together. And Linda just did a great job the pilots from flight, logistics. I think at one point our GPS system went down. They assured us we were still safe. There was a backup. But we had we also Kelly Heim Brian's administrative assistant and Pat Scott were instrumental in really really helped us really to get get through that process and allow us to focus on the interviews. And so let's say so, you know, went through that process. We had mentioned a total of nine interview. Ten interviews. Went through the nine and quite honestly, no one really stood out everybody. There were a lot of strong candidates. But. You know, there wasn't one that just jumped out at us. And so Matt was our our last candidate. And we'd heard great things about Matt through our vetting process. A lot of the coaches and others that we talked to talk about his his his background his experience. And so we're real excited going into it. And so we interviewed Matt in Nashville on a sun Sunday afternoon. And. Really? Well, I. I can probably speak to it. But I wanted to make sure we're we've been traveling so much in the meeting with so many different people. And so we went through the interview say a couple of things about mad. He was the most prepared interview the most prepared candidate. It was obvious that he'd really done his research. You knew all about our our roster, are coaches, everything and also he was very genuine and very natural. And rather it really felt like more of a conversation rather than an interview. And so felt really good. And so. After the interview. Ross Brian, and I all looked at each other. And we said that was really good wasn't it. And you know, so and I said, you know, I think he's our top candidate. And Brian said he's my top candidate. And then not said, he's my top hand. So we talked we talked about it a little bit more on the flight a flight back to Green Bay. And I wanted to make sure we weren't Punchdrunk. We've been traveling so much talking so much people a couple of other things that I wanted to make sure we are careful about and really make sure we do we're making the right decision. I said, you know, usually the last candidate has an advantage. And let's make sure that you know, because he was the last candidate. We didn't give him extra extra attention and give him more credit than than he may have deserved. And the other thing that I'm always careful of in terms of these searches is you wanna? To make sure you hire the best candidate and the best person for the job, not the best interviewer. And so we talked about that. And we all decided we're going to sleep on it. And so we came into the office, Monday morning and. Ryan and Ross, and I met, and we all said the same thing. Now, I still feel the same way we all felt the same way we knew that he was the right person. And so after that I wanted to make sure we did all of our background research. And that all checked out a brought together the entire search committee, and and went through and we said this is the right person and decided to move move forward. Quickly. And so a couple of other things just on. And I'm going to turn it over to Brian to to make his comments regarding Matt. But. Just a couple of things that stood out about Matt. First of all great experience. To college level played played the game played the quarterback. I'm a little biased. I really liked the fact that he played at a smaller school wasn't a superstar. I think. And really learn the game. He's a coach's son that I love that. And I think he's grown up around the game. And you know, just any in to me he had a unique combination of a quiet confidence. But yet humility and just really really felt very good about everything. And in terms of my mind, and the searches that I've run for head coaches and others, there's really two keys and hiring the right person for the job or a head coach number one. You want to make sure they're a great fit, and we felt very very comfortable with that. You know, he's he's from Michigan very similar to to Green Bay. He's a humble person. I think he's gonna really fit in well with the community, and certainly in the building here and the second part of that is you really want somebody that has is genuinely excited about the position. And I guess that's easy to say. Well, wouldn't anybody be excited to be the head coach of the Green Bay Packers? Well, there's some calves that we talked to that. We're looking at a number of different positions. Maybe they just got fired. And are they really excited about this opportunity? But with Matt it was genuine, and he was really really excited about it. And and I'll just share this one story and. And the other thing I'd say so putting together excited about it. And then having the ability and the experience to really make a difference. And that's what I see in math. And so Monday after we went through the meetings and kinda did our final research on on Matt Ryan I called him. And so called him on the phone, and I said, you know, Matt I'm really excited offer you the position as our head coach. And it went kinda quiet, and I thought oh Jesus connection break, and the first thing that said was speechless. So I knew then that this was a genuine excitement so. I'm really really excited. I think we have found a jam in Matt and really excited about the future under his leadership. But Brian enough you want to add anything to what I said about that. Yeah. Just. Really excited to have Matt. And then the floor family Packer nation. You know, I thought the process like Montmartre talked about was excellent. For me. You try to make this as simple as possible. And we want someone who could win. And that's what we found in math. You know? I think this is an exciting time for the Packer fans and organization where we're headed and was really really look forward to getting this thing started getting to work together. This first days been excellent. So we're ready to get after it. But I think we've got the perfect candidate to lead us to where we wanna go. There's one goal here always has been one goal as the win world championships. And we're excited to get started. Right. Thanks right right now. So two long years here in Green Bay. We are ready to get back winning. And it is my pleasure to introduce that leflore as a fifty head coach of the Green Bay Packers are one hundred season..

"And traffic, NewsRadio WTMJ. Good morning, Wisconsin eight thirty five sneaks video with you on this Tuesday. Sort of a Packers Tuesday. I thought he just worked shift. Let's bring him right back our own Doug Russell talking potentially still. Unofficial, right. Yeah. Official until the E mail gets until Jason Waller's hit send on the Email. But the the big story last night broke last night. Early evening. Yeah. Matt leflore titans. Offensive coordinator potentially coming to the Packers as their next. What sixteenth head coach and their history. Sixteenth fulltime head coach anything is what they said. So what do you think? Well, I I don't know yet. And I don't think anybody knows for sure. And anyone who says they know for sure doesn't know because so much changes from the front of the position or one half of the teams room as opposed to the whole team when you're at the quote unquote, front of the room. The the message changes your the face of the franchise. You're not just not nameless faceless system. I think most Packers fans are at least somewhat familiar with who the Packers assistant coaches are. But you all of a sudden become the guy in a franchise that this isn't meant to denigrate anything in Tennessee titans. But the Packers are one of the signature franchises of the NFL. And. When you're the head coach Green Bay Packers, you become instantly, one of the most famous people in the state of Wisconsin. You're certainly in the top five. So I don't know how he's going to do. Are there echoes a Mike McCarthy that higher he was kind of a relatively unknown guy on the Packers picked him up? And of course, you have a tremendous record is coaching the Packers. The only difference. I guess was Mike McCarthy had experience with the Packers before he was the quarterbacks coach under Ray Rhodes in nineteen ninety nine. So he walked in the door knowing Brett farve you walked in the door. You know, you know, where the men's room is for example. You know, what I mean, you know, where the offices are, you know, where the the break room is in the lunchroom is you've got familiarity with the city, and Matt leflore doesn't have any of that right now. But if you're looking at where they came from one year as an offensive coordinator Mike McCarthy had more offensive coordinator experience for a couple of years. The Matt leflore did. But, you know, Mike McCarthy helped develop Aaron Brooks as a legitimate NFL quarterback, for example. And Matt leflore certainly helped Matt Ryan become the league's MVP Cutler seasons ago. So you like some of the trends that are going. He's got familiarity with DeShaun Kaiser Kaiser was having his redshirt freshman season at Notre Dame when the floor was their quarterbacks coach he's bounced around a little bit. You liked the pedigree? You like the fact that he's a good young communicate. Or at least. That's what everyone says that has any kind of familiarity with them. You want him you need him to hold Aaron Rodgers accountable. But you also need him to hold Aaron Rodgers accountable while being on the same page with him as well. You can't have your quarterback going rogue in the in the huddle when he doesn't like the play call. And I think that's what kind of got away from Mike McCarthy a little bit. Doug Russell joining me in studio talking about the potential hiring. It's all but official. Matt leflore is the next coach of the head coach the Green Bay Packers the difference between I think some of the other situations the young coaches the hot ones matinee and some of the other ones as they're dealing with essentially younger quarterbacks. Rogers doesn't meet that definition? Do you think that's going to work for Matt leflore when he comes if and when he comes into this situation, I'm gonna go back to the same answer that I I don't know anyone who says they no you don't because you look at what he has dealt with. Over the course of his career Kirk cousins when he was earlier in his career, but Kirk cousins isn't an elite he's being paid like one. But he's not an elite quarterback. He hasn't shown over the course of multiple seasons that he can be quote unquote, elite certainly with Matt Ryan Matt Ryan is very similar to Aaron Rodgers. So if that's your litmus test, okay? But again, the the head coach the quarterbacks coach their responsibilities are vastly different all use my patent as an example, Mike Patton. I think is a very very good football coach. I think he's not standing defensive coordinator is reason that he's going to be held over from a staff that if you just look at the raw numbers, you may wonder why are they keeping the defensive coordinator because he didn't have any talent to work with. But when my pet was a head coach the Browns did have some success, but by his own admission didn't really like it very much didn't like being the face of the franchise. He likes being offensive coordinator more than he likes being a head coach we'll see with Matt leflore as to whether or not he can make that transition because he's never done it. Before he's never been a head coach. Now, you look at a guy like, Sean McVay, he made it seamlessly. You look at a guy like Cal shannahan? He's had his lumps. When Jimmy Garoppolo has quarterback in San Francisco was injured. So again. I don't know. They're unknowns. With every first year head coach manager in baseball. No matter what it is. It's your first time doing it. There are unknowns going to Green Bay, and we all know this talking about the Packers the expectations level is very high. Right. This is a team that's had a lot of success in their history. Not recently speaking so much, although they did go to the NFC championship game with two years ago. So they have that. What do you think the fan reaction is going to be we have as show poll today? What do you think? Good higher not good higher. What do you think the fan reaction would be to this? I think that the there should be two questions one before the press conference in one after the press conference everything that I've heard metal floral when the press conference. Okay. Is that important it can be from a communication standpoint. I suppose because that's a big part of being a head coach in the NFL communicating with fans via the media. And then ultimately how well that coach communicates with his players. You know, should Packers fans be excited about it. I I don't I don't know. This is a good question. There's no good answer right now. Because there are so many unknowns, you know, who's associated with that's a good thing. The fact that he's never been a head. Coach can be good can be bad. The Packers have a history of coat of hiring coaches. That are first time coaches some have been better than others. Vince Lombardi was the first time that coach I worked out. Okay. Mike Holmgren was the first time head coach with the Packers that worked out. Okay. Other first time head coaches didn't work out as well. Doug, Russell is going to be you're gonna be on ESPN four or five today as well from one until three check us out. All right. He's always gotta go. I go to when I want to talk about Packers brewers or box or bring anything even culture things. I go to Doug Russell, thanks for sitting in. All right. We're gonna we're gonna break this down for your next half hour or so Packers set the higher Matla floors. Our next head coach, what do you think you're gonna weigh in on the.
