"The heard a buck off your order jersey. Mike so jay glazer. There's a couple of different things. Jay glazer said this yesterday about aaron rodgers on the pat mcafee show. Here's this piece of tape. I know he's still wants out without a doubt. Absolute still wants out. Every time somebody called the packers who was immediately shut out so look what these teams need to do is continue to call continue to call by the way. Pat mcafee is losing weight brennan thought. Secondly there's an article from matt. Lombardo don't know him works for fan side and He talked to a former nfl. Gm that said aaron selfish guys don't like him they all deal with him because he's a superstar. He helps guys make money. Put food on the table for the kids and respect him for that multiple sources around the nfl. According to the article believe what's most likely to happen. At first roger stays away. Training camp jordan love gets the wraps you know game speed raps practices and then eventually they bring aaron back. You know one of the things about this is fox has a huge. nfl package. So i criticize players. I don't wanna get personal like baker mayfield. Most of my stuff overwhelmingly his tongue in cheek. I hated when he called out his medical staff. I said he was a jerk. That's a little personal. But i thought he was aaron. Hey i want to be personal aaron. I've been critical before. I think it's reasonable. You have so many different people saying the same thing. How about if i say this. Tom brady is easy errands. Hard aaron tart. He's a harder personality. Tom takes pay cuts. Tom appears to have a happier homelife. Tom has a big family. Tom lives in a world of sacrifice. When you're young good looking rich and single. You're not gonna make as many sacrifices when you're older more experienced you're married you have kids. She has great career. Your kids are growing mary. People's lives are a little more sacrifice based young single rich. Good looking people. They're kind of doing their own thing when they want to do it. I think aaron's a little harder now. They're very similar in that. They're both endorsement kings. They're both hall of famers. They both have three. Mvp's they're both the classic franchise good lookin' quarterback there's a lot they have in common. There's a story in the washington post last year. That i think really speaks to tom. Brady and and i think this is fair. So the the story in the washington post is. They were talking about tom. He does something with every single person he ever meets. For the first time for words he walks up and goes hi. I'm tom brady so what tom is really doing. He knows you know he's tom. Brady what is he doing. I want you to think about this for a second. What does tom doing their no. He's doing something it's smart. Get our second thomas telling you. I'm not better than you. hi. I'm tom brady. I'm not going to presume. You're intimidated or know who i am. It's tom's greatest gift..

"It is a guy. We're gonna be talking about a lot today. We're talking about the dillas brothers part to we'll be covering their time in the war which involved a lot of the nazis. I'm robert efforts this. Is you know buying the bastards. You know that this is the second episode on the series and my guest is again. Jason target jason. Terry do it. Do some people start with part two of a series like this. Do we have to catch them. Catch them up with if they are jason their maniacs and i feel no need to pander to them. There's a question. I did want to ask though because when you left off the two brothers and again just because it's been a weaker whatever you've got the elder brother foster dulles who is not yet going. He's going to be secretary of state later. You've got younger allen. Who was later going to take over the cia right now. They're not doing that right now. They are helping to basically negotiate the postwar post world war one peace with germany correct. Yes and the terms of that that will wind up the terms of the peace of world. War one set the stage for everything that comes after right up until today yes so. How old are these brothers. When that is occurring They're not very old. No i mean like twenty. Okay like like alan well. Yeah in their in their their so fosters. Older foster starts College well no. He starts high school in nineteen o four so he's graduated by nineteen. Oh wait world war one starts when he's in his early twenties he's in his late twenties and alan is in his early twenty s. I think

Tommy Lloyd Is the Next Coach at Arizona

"Matt. Norlander is here with me in. Arizona has found shaun miller's replacement deadline when we talked about this after shawn miller was fired. We went through a list of candidates. And i think we sort of settled on the end of the day. I think it's going to be a gonzaga associate head coach. Tommy lloyd or former arizona star current pacific head coach damon stoudamire fast forward to today. It is tommy lloyd. He is leaving gonzaga. He will be the next head coach of the wildcats. Your thoughts. yeah. We have a listen. We have a long time coach in waiting for program legend. Who's been there decades deciding to leave and and and take a job in the pac twelve and It's mike hopkins all over can don't just kidding. But the parallels are actually there will credit an unnamed person. We both know who who made that to made. That comparison this i think is a pretty good higher now. This has been buzzed about. Since before shawn miller got fired. I have talked to a couple of people out for your. Oh quick i get your thoughts on it. There are a couple of people i've talked to. Who will never be not convinced. That tommy lloyd was approached about this like a month ago and basically said we want you to be the next coach in gonna fire shawn miller. I'm not saying that happened. I'm telling you there are people that believe this and this has been wired for a long time now. There were a couple of days here the past couple of days where the search kind of went on a not a pause but they topped the brakes through more interviews. That happened on tuesday. And they did legitimately interview miles. Simon damon stoudamire. Jason terry josh passenger. All these people were interviewed. There's a belief that eric muscleman whose doors to get himself his own new contract which if true or not. I don't think he needed arizona to get paid the way he got paid. But good on him. So

"You will win a majority a your games, and they've done it at an all time level day to be if they win this year, they surpassed Michael Jordan in the pool at the greatest time ever. That's just me saying, you know, now we do look at Michael's eight never lost in the final. We get it. I'm saying the series in finals. They've never lost right? Hard to be. But if you look at Golden State and the waiter constructiveness K, and he comes back and they win this year. They're up there. They're one until neck and neck with those pool. By the way, guessing game, I want you to guess. Katie to the Knicks think it happens. Oh, no. I don't I just don't see it. I if it may it I don't know the I mean he's a different guy. You never know what he's thinking. But there's nothing about me if he wants to go play in a bigger market in, if you look at Golden State, the Frisco area bay area the market there in the moving into a new arena, guys playing around the culture, this creating I it just to me it just fits. He goes to New York. There's going to be so much more me on him so much more. Attention so many more questions you have to have their does. He really want that stress. He doesn't seem like a guy that want that type of stress than at me. Just listen to all his interview. Jason good talking to you, buddy, your third anytime, Jason Terry. I think I would put my I think Michael Jordan's bulls are the best team I've ever seen, because they could do it on both ends. They had the best rebounder. They met the best player, the best number to the best European the best coach. And then, like you just forget that Horace Grant, I think Golden State is in a class of three other teams, the Shatt Koby Lakers and the Showtime, Lakers and Golden State, and I can't really separate them. It depends on the rules, I think shack would be a like, like if the warriors tonight, play shack in his prime and Kobe with no boogie cousins, that would just be a disaster for Golden State. You could just dumped the ball in a shack for literally three hours. Who does shack guard? That does present a dilemma now that that's that's that's need to guard anyone. They, I'll tell you what. I you're not gonna get anything at the remedies. He's playing defense but three is more than two. Well, it is, but Draymond doesn't shoot three so he can guard dream on. Draymond on guard threes. I let guide lead Draymond shoot three's all day long. I'd sit in the hole and say Draymond you go out there. So when they do the pick and roll with Steph, you're going to have shack on Steph. How's that gonna go shack would eat staff in the series, would be over? Bounds for toothpicks. Choi with the news. No. This is the third line new conversation. But I'm I'm I think I'm taking the Lakers that spot. Well again, so defensively, who would check guard. Draymond in by the way, if Draymond shooting sixteen threes, and that means clan. Steph, aren't on really good with that. This is not forget, how incredibly athletic shaft was well the early shack. He got a little heavy. Okay. But I mean was he athletes with the Lakers? Yeah. She was very athletic. He was. He was a handful. He was I psyched, four handfuls, though. I don't taking the Lakers there. All right. So after leading for most of the game last night, the raptors had a chance to grab a one zero series lead and steal homecourt advantage. But it didn't happen. They dropped their opener one elite one hundred two the bucks and here is cow. Lowery's reasoning. Pretty frustrated. Fourth quarter, Kilda's thirty to seventeen day up. Liz, in a fourth quarter, I got a little bit more aggressive. They may some big shots. I mean some big place. Yeah. The we just sucks where he lives like that. But, you know, we, we had a chance, and we gotta learn from making adjustment..

"You know, he's troubled, and is it hurting them. You know, it is anyone who says is not is foolish because. The league we play for the league. We that. I played in its. It's a it's a walk this fine line. You know, I tell people all the time the difference to me between the NBA and the NFL NBA encourages you to be an individual individuality is almost praised. Yeah. It's market day market is our. Yeah. Even from you lean flake, you know, Jason Terry wants to rock the long, boys. He walking. Someone wanted to ankle once they were able to wear the ankle ones. If you wanted a head band arm lead like you got to go out there and really be you. And I feel like football is kinda like that's why when I was done playing. I was almost relieved who depressions off me. Now, I can actually be a normal person. Like if someone smacks me, I can smack them back. You know, not get in trouble. You know? I'm defending myself. You did when you were done you. You was an outspoken athlete new. There's a culture in the NFL that I have joined, and you gotta you gotta by about a rules or you're going to be out. And that's the thing with AB that not makes me mad. But kind of makes me sad. Because you know, he's definitely getting bad advice from some somewhere somebody or he has a lot of guys who aren't you know, aren't telling him to truth. But this leaves going to go on without abo with a beat. You know, I heard the comments he's, you know, he don't need football. I hope that's great. I hope that's the case. And if sodas great, but a lot of guys needed they needed financially they needed to fill a void within them to you know, that space but for him to to make that comment. I hope he really feels like look I don't need it because you don't want any one thing holding you hostage. You know? There was a time Dangelo. I can remember talking about you as a player and saying, yeah, I liked the Angelo. But is he a team guy or Amiga y did you ever feel that your opinions and your outspoken nature did your age and never say you may want scale back. Did you ever feel a team bailed on you? Because of that. Yeah. Yeah. I think right after the Atlanta situation we Bobby between. Oh, and me I'm kind of getting into it on the sideline. I think a lot of teams felt like man, you know, this dude's not not very coach, you know. I don't I don't I don't really know about that personality because a lot of coaches aren't confrontational. They might give you that scowl or look at you kinda mad, but they don't really want a lot of confrontations. And so. You know, I think they felt like man this is going to be a problem. He's a head case. And at that time, I probably was a little bit. You know, definitely wasn't as mature. As I am now. So I was still learning and figuring it out. Right. I was twenty four when that happened. And so I was still relatively young guy. And so I was still learning as well. But yeah, I mean, it definitely is scars you, and I mean, it took it took probably the next ten years. I play fourteen and took the next ten years for me to really kind of wipe this away and even guys to this day. They meet me, and they're like, man, you're totally not what I expected, man. You're you're and I was like, yeah. Thanks. You know, only feel I kind of got to be turn know, I'm a little do. I'm like Brennan. Could you imagine me going like come on, man? Like that dude is huge. So if I don't think I'm a whip him. He definitely not thinking I'm a with him. You know, what's funny about pro sports is that in most of like enjoying is careers, usually about thirty eight to fifty two is sort of your wheelhouse years, we kicked butt, right? Pro athletics is totally unfair. So they take young people and say, oh, by the way beyond your best behavior in judgment at twenty two years old..

"A lot of shots gets a lot of steals, just creates havoc and then turns defense into offense. I hope that they find more pace this year. I hope they're able to get him into the open court more because that will really make his life easier in the long run. If they're able to get easier stuff in transition, he doesn't have to do so much like one on one in the half court, and they don't have to ask Middleton to do so much pound pound pound, take a tough shot even though he's fully capable of hitting them. I think Boone holes are will have a very stressed that early on in the season and kind of keep it going the whole way. Basically, I'm shameless bucks optimist as of this moment and it's amazing. We're here given that that's exactly where we were twelve months ago, and it really did not go according to plan whatsoever. You know, the one thing I would add is where we talk about what went wrong last season. The bucks roster looked so much worse when Malcolm brogden isn't out there as a third guard and someone who can handle the ball at the end of games because Eric Bledsoe definitely got exposed down the stretch last year. And is is one reason to pause before you put the bucks in the finals like guys like Eric Bledsoe, their frontline is still kind of iffy in places, but adding brogden to that rotation, gives them one more guy who will be at least solid if not more helpful this year. And that's like it's, it was easy to forget that when we were watching that bucks team just kind. Weed to the finish line last year. So no question. He missed almost half the season. I would also say about Bledsoe his regular season numbers and impact where much better than his postseason. Like obviously, like the scary Terry experienced was very scary off. It was pretty didn't go. So didn't go so well for him, but he did play well during the regular season. I mean, what a fleecing that was to get Bledsoe for Greg Monroe had become on, you know, like Phoenix, what are you doing down there? Of course, our good old Buddy Ryan mcdonagh just handing out party favors to aspiring Eastern Conference contenders, but I think the brogden factor is crucial just from the civility standpoint. Yeah, having to go deep into a back court where they just were not deep at all right, asking that's hairy important yet Jason Terry was out there and I was like, you know, Jason Terry would probably be more believable as a coach than as an active NBA player, his point his life, but he was legitimately playing playoff minutes. For them? No question. When they fired Jason Kidd I mean, is time to worry, are they just going to sign up to attend day and having be the backup point guard? I mean, there was that level of desperation up in Milwaukee last year, but we're back on the high chain with Janas. Have you seen some of these air Jaanus leaks, hit the internet, have it? I haven't. You got counting on you to send me. I've been off line for the last week or so. I need you to send me some Jaanus leaks, please. Well, look, the first pictures don't look great. You know, I'm not gonna lie, but I've been. I've been told that they are not the final product, which sometimes that just means they like change a little color. So they can say that. I'm hoping for a little more from the honest ones from Nike. So guys, if you're on that design team, you're still listening here an hour to admit August podcast. Don't put out a week product. We demand very best for our guy. Jaanus the king from overseas or whatever. Ethan's prophecy called him. There we go. All right. Peter says, sharp, I love how your intangible qualities don't matter in big men take is so stilted by your bias in favor of perimeter gunners that you manage to be so wrong. Even though Gulliver just prior had listed off various big men draft busts who all failed because of intangible flaws. I would argue that Biggs fail more often because of intangible reasons than guards, ever do and Peter. Thank you for your comment. Here's my response. I think that intangibles in big men are almost always the same thing, whereas like did does this big guy give shit..

"Of the night last night if you look at things the way everything broken then let's go to the sixers the process continues they have the lakers pick which is number ten we saw the huge year they had maybe still a piece away what would you see philadelphia doing it's mikhail bridges from villanova small forward they have jj radic ersan ilyasova marco bellin ellie those are your three free agencies off season bridges more for coming off the bench because you do have robert covington still but the question for philadelphia is really not going to be what happens if the draft it's going to be what happens in free agency big game hunting as i say can you go out and get a lebron james of paul george maybe even a quiet leonard in trade or you're gonna roll over cap space but if you if you look at here we can put him right there we want to but basically bridges would be here he would probably come off your bench this is this roster stays pack you've been maybe bring jj redick back for another year take that conservative approach if you cannot get one of these marquee free agents and then you go swinging into two thousand nineteen with with room all right so there you have it again the draft order is set as of the lottery last night we'll see where teams wind up going by the great to see you good to meet in person please come by as we work our way closer and closer to the draft and free agency still to come here meanwhile on get up john smith made his presence felt without scoring a point last night meanwhile coach things it's the celtics that are the real goons tie lou on who is to blame you'll hear that next and when you hear it will be joined by jason terry in our studio and he's the subject of this trivia question bobby it's a good one this jason terry is made nearly twenty three hundred three point.

"While for the game after the game luke walton says that he was frustrated lonzo passed up so many open threes and i was getting a little antsy just go and shoot that if their daring you to shoot at you gotta shoot it and instead he would attack off the dribble which is fine and luke said it was at least okay that he went ahead and was aggressive because some nights he's not aggressive at all so all of a sudden nights most nights he's not aggressive i'll give you that so last night he winds up at in detroit and gain they ended up losing after playing a really good first half not very good second half he goes seven for eight from the field he's got fifteen points eight rebounds eleven assists and for the third straight night on the road he flirts with another triple double so i look back at to what jason terry said sitting here yesterday he doesn't have that jason kidd him that dog him yet jason sat on the bench one night when he didn't get to play early this year no walkie when lonzo ball went for nineteen twelve and thirteen against the team coached by jason kidd and it was almost like lonzo said okay jason kidd they say i'm going to be the next jason kidd watch this i'm going to show you and after his horrible start this year where he got embarrassed humiliated by patrick beverley he went right onto phoenix the next night and what did he do there he went for twenty nine eleven and nine so i'm seeing bursts of absolute brilliance i think he special i think he will ultimately be transcended and i'm seeing lots of numbers here but they're wildly erratic inconsistent numbers and then all the sudden i see a jump shot that could make him be on magic johnson's shooter because magic had no jump shot at all he developed a set shot it we know it workman but it took him a while to figure that part out well lonzo clearly has the athletic ability and the touch to shoot up at six foot seven inches tall a mid range jumper that would be really hard to defend i gotta tell you point.

"In his eye that night and got seat off and i was on that bench time like you said he was going to get it like he literally every time he touched any was putting pressure on the defense maybe it was for jason kidd's dass what i'm trying to tell you he he's looked over her to comparisons and he has some approve so maybe if he can channel that you know an off season this year getting jim he gotta stay in jim no it got into it jumpers folks but here's the thing if he was a shooter or a score i was thinking t you continue to shoot but he's a silivatere he's shooting shots as if they score and if he sees one goals in the baskets going to open up of the hundred and one players this taken at least two hundred fifty three he's ninety nine he brought a russell westbrook and dennis shooter that's that's where you fifty games skips these he'll do sample size like gave right so i'm gonna give you fifty that'll big sample of the city that's you skip shooting thirty percent from the three did you did you see did you see they defile another night against memphis in the fourth quarter who did they file on purpose can you tell the people who need to file some okay okay we're just lucky he got the ball at okay okay but again he would be the obvious choice to foul so but people don't have it they will hack alonzo they just had to file somebody for the people that home that doesn't have any league pay you till them would happen when lonzo went to the free throw line two free throws it was pathetic but i've been telling you but that it can i'll tell jason terry right now the problem i see is not the three point shot which jude sideways it's the free throw 'cause he tries to go conventional at the free throw line and he's got no idea where it's going.

"Skip would have you believe because of these injuries and they happen earlier here that lebron pad that everybody's just like party in lebron just gonna walk right through i don't know we just played cleveland in cleveland looked like they're starting to get a little bit of rhythm with the new guys acquired jordan clarkston his plan extremely well writing it's been injured a little bit nancy's still out but you know they're deep their deep and one thing he can do he can position players and put them where he wants them quarterback so they can be successful so you know homecourt advantage is one thing it's tough to win in cleveland plan against eight oh can i say that i don't know filed on the you know that jet right hit demand all of hit them office fouls many renan people over like running back jay horrid shooting twenty shots a game better you already know don't play jay j not play with the beer dove i know you do we know he's the mvp vichy vp beth player they're not the same thing okay we'll go is free by something that jet just hinted at and that is that the milwaukee bucks it right now just a game out of the six spot currently occupied by the wizards who seem to be going backwards if you vote a pass the wizards and the cleveland cavaliers stay three guess what shin and that would mean that jason terry and the greek freak get to play lebron company in round one.
