"Thank you. And Steve Schneider, who is a great American, and we're honored to have all of you guys and kind of talk about something important that is local in our focus, but national in nature. Absolutely. And so however you guys want to take it, rob, do you want to start? And then we can kind of, let me do my best to frame it. And then I know Jason Steve will be able to add all kinds of insight to it. In our community, the kineto unified school districts, there's two newspapers in the Canelo valley where I reside. And as this Bryce and Steve, these two newspapers, one is the guardian, the other, is the acorn. The guardian did a paper, did an article called third grade teacher promotes gender confusion in the classroom. And it was an article writing on behalf of Steve Schneider, who's on the program with us. Who was standing in defense of his third great daughter, who was told by the teacher to now these are the new pronouns of this fellow student in your class, and this is a book I want to read to you on transgender. And then expose the children to a video without parental permission. Steve took issue with at the kineto guardian on his behalf, wrote a very, very clear and concise article, everything and it was true. Good reporting, the acorn, which is a defender of what I would say that California teachers association and the district itself took great offense to it. Then the news channels came out CBS. They did a whole thing on it. And then there was graffiti at that elementary school and they blamed Steve Schneider for it. The police came to his house. He'll tell you more about that. He wasn't even there, so it was crazy. I'm wondering if they're going to arrest the people that said they witnessed him doing it, which is why the police searched his home to begin filing a false police report. Exactly. And so we've had people show up in the school board meetings. They've been dismissed. They've just been relegated. This is the other one. The superintendent of schools wrote a letter to every parent in the district, blaming the newspaper, The Guardian, and saying we were the ones responsible for the graffiti. And then Joe kirkpatrick, who is the kilpatrick. He's the one who is the editor for this guardian, wrote a great response, and so that's where we are. And tonight, there's a school board meeting. And tonight being June 21st for whatever it is. But it's going to go on beyond that. Of course, we're just going to keep fighting this. So that's the outline, let these guys tell you more about it. Bryson Steve, you guys take it how you want and we'll let you take it from there. Yeah, so let me just add one thing because the book is called call me max. And the book, the kind of underlying premise of it is this kid has got gender confusion and one of the lines in it is that your parents guessed at your gender and they guessed wrong. And so a lot of this has to do with the parental side of it. And I want Steve to really weigh in on that because they completely ignored his concerns and Steve talked about that a little bit. You know, there was no communication between the school and me at all, not even afterwards when they sent her home with that day. We found out from my daughter who's 8 years old. And she clearly had questions, we didn't know how to answer that. It was, you know, I was blindsided. I'm sure everyone could agree that a parent should be included in these types of matters. Outside of reading writing arithmetic, we got to know ahead of time. And that's what this is about. Parental rights. So let me just make sure that I'm tracking with this. So you have a third grader who is either 9 or ten or 11 from 8 8. Okay, got.

We've <Speech_Male> got a bunch of questions <Speech_Male> that you've sent <Speech_Male> in on Twitter. <Speech_Male> Apologize <Speech_Male> that we didn't get <Speech_Male> to those tonight, <Speech_Male> those <Speech_Male> will be <Speech_Male> part of <Speech_Male> an upcoming episode. <Speech_Male> Don't worry. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Music_Male> That's going to be part of what we <Speech_Music_Male> <Advertisement> do. <Music> <Advertisement> <Music> <Advertisement> Last <Speech_Music_Male> stop, if you lose. <Speech_Music_Male> <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Music_Male> <Speech_Male> We've <Speech_Male> got to give a shout out <Speech_Music_Male> on <Speech_Male> our <Speech_Male> Apple <Speech_Male> podcasts <Speech_Male> as <Speech_Male> you all have been <Speech_Male> hopping <Speech_Male> on and giving us <Speech_Male> our ratings. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Our ratings, <Speech_Male> we've had a <Speech_Male> really solid bump <Speech_Male> in the <Speech_Male> amount of <Speech_Male> 5 star reviews that are coming <Speech_Male> through. I got to give <Speech_Male> a shout out to <Speech_Male> our good friend <Speech_Male> of the show <Speech_Male> and consistent <Speech_Male> listener Jason. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> I don't know how <Speech_Male> to say your last name. <Speech_Male> The last name <Speech_Male> that you have on here, book <Silence> hosie and bogosian, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> apologize. I'm <Speech_Male> absolutely <Speech_Male> proudly <Speech_Male> murdered that <Speech_Male> I apologize. <Speech_Male> But <SpeakerChange> <Speech_Male> they left the 5 star <Speech_Male> review <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> and wrote <Speech_Male> the title of this <Speech_Male> review was a regular <Speech_Male> in my podcast <Speech_Male> rotation. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Body of <Speech_Male> the review <Speech_Male> says got into <Speech_Male> the W a few years <Speech_Male> ago and wouldn't <Speech_Male> have stuck with it so <Speech_Male> passionately, if not <Speech_Male> for the great pods <Speech_Male> from Logan <Speech_Male> Jason Steve and <Speech_Male> Kyle. Really <Speech_Male> appreciated Steve's <Speech_Male> political aside from <Speech_Male> the May 29th show, <Speech_Male> it was raw <Speech_Male> and more importantly truthful. <Speech_Male> Keep up <Speech_Male> the good work guys. Appreciate that <Speech_Male> Jason. Thank you so <Speech_Male> much. The <Speech_Male> easiest way for <Speech_Male> you to get a shout <Speech_Male> out on our <Speech_Male> show is <Speech_Male> by dropping one of those <Speech_Male> 5 serve use. <Speech_Male> Hit 5 stars <Speech_Male> take 30 <Speech_Male> seconds to write a <Speech_Male> quick review. <Speech_Male> And the reason we do <Speech_Male> this isn't <Speech_Male> it's not all <Speech_Male> selfish. <Speech_Male> Look, <Speech_Male> boost our rakes. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Honestly, <Speech_Male> we <Speech_Male> think <Speech_Male> that the more people <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> that can find <Speech_Male> WNBA <Speech_Male> podcasts <Speech_Male> in general <Speech_Male> are going to <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> like Jason said, <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> stick with the league <Speech_Male> or find the league <Speech_Male> for the first time and stick <Speech_Male> with it. That's <Speech_Male> what we're hoping to do. <Speech_Male> And if you like <Speech_Male> our show, great. If you <Speech_Male> like another WNBA <Speech_Male> podcast, <Speech_Male> awesome. We <Speech_Male> do too. We <Speech_Male> listen to all of them. <Speech_Male> We are <Speech_Male> constantly listening <Speech_Male> to locked on <Speech_Male> women's basketball <Speech_Male> insider, her <Speech_Male> hoop stats. <Speech_Male> Around the rim <Speech_Male> with China, the double <Speech_Male> down, <Speech_Male> we hit up all <Speech_Male> of those. <Speech_Male> We listen to those <Speech_Male> constantly. <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> Trust us, <Speech_Male> we're big fans of those <Speech_Male> shows and go drop <Speech_Male> them a 5 star review <Speech_Male> as well. We're big <Speech_Male> fans and <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> it can <Speech_Male> only do good <Speech_Male> for <Speech_Male> <Speech_Male> WNBA and <Speech_Male> women's basketball <Speech_Male> in general. <Speech_Male> Just <Speech_Male> getting ratings <Speech_Male> and downloads and different <Speech_Male> things like that. So <Speech_Male> thank you. <Speech_Male> We know some <Speech_Male> other shows <Speech_Male> have actually <Speech_Male> seen a lot <Speech_Male> of growth lately. <Speech_Male> We love that. <Speech_Male> We don't feel <Speech_Male> competitive <SpeakerChange> with these people. <Speech_Male> I think that <Speech_Male> if <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> our show <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> grows and their <Speech_Male> <Advertisement> shows also grow, <Speech_Male> that just getting <Speech_Male> more eyes and <Speech_Male> ears on <Speech_Male> this incredible <Speech_Male> product <Speech_Male> and <Speech_Male> well, let's be honest, <Speech_Male> we're not <Speech_Music_Male> the

"Or the props spinning. I feel like that's probably a better phrase to do in here. But yeah, I mean, it's, you know, companies like AOP and forefoot, yes, we are pretty big, but we're also not that big for the amount of work and the things that we put out and you know the support that we do. And then you also have the company's that are smaller that are really trying to fight to advocate for different groups of people to be able to have access to training resources and aircrafts and pursuit their pilot dreams or organizations that are lots more than are working on specifically keeping backcountry airports open is trying to make sure that we're all equipped with the best flying tools. There's so many small parts that just go into us being able to, yeah, maybe open up our iPhone. Log in a few waypoints airports turning on and take off. And there's so much going on. That's crazy. So much. Yeah. I think you could go. Go for it. You go. I think the cool part that I noticed in the industry, obviously we're all like we're in it for a reason. We're gonna like flying. We all like the community and just keeping it going. Is like, sure, there are like companies that compete against each other and organizations that sort of compete with each other, but on paper, right? But in reality, it doesn't feel like that. It feels like everybody's on the same team working towards the same goal and kind of helping each other out where we can. Just because you know the bigger and stronger we are, like, the better for the community as you know. What's that thing with the all ships rising? Rising tide web starships? There you go. But yeah, I think that's pretty cool thing about this industry. It's not like super cut with each other. That's a really good time. Yeah, no, I've heard that with well, I have stories of talking to people, it's all community, whether it's helping you with that check rag at your lunch break or you're in a race of the Reno air races and then all of a sudden you're aircraft breaks down. Your competitors literally helping you to try to make sure that you can gig up and running or you're just going to fly safe. I think a boiled boils down to everyone has this passion for flying, we all know that it is, it can be unforgiving hobby or job. And so we all want to make sure that we can enjoy it. In an efficient, safe way and just, you know, lived a flying other day. And so I think we all have this mutual understanding of what we're doing. And that's what really pushes the just looking out for each other. And keeping that really nice, clean, easy, fun community sense. Oh, for sure. I agree. I think, you know, even outside of you might see this. You obviously probably do see when you're done. Sort of influencers. I guess if you want to call them that. But then leading the way and kind of creating a cool general aviation community on social media, pretty cool, right? Or it's just like a bunch of pilots who are kind of The Old Guard going out. It's a new crew coming in. It's a new generation where everybody's super encouraging of each other. And it's no longer just like your little airport community or local area community of pilots. It's like the entire world. You're talking to people from everywhere and becoming friends with people from everywhere. And that's like super encouraging, because everybody supportive of each other, at least I haven't seen any backstabbing or anything with that. But I think it's usually just like everybody stoked that everybody's doing really well and given tips and everything. Which I think is like, you know, some are kind of new. And then the industry I think it's good for. Yeah, and that's like one big factor. You're talking about people from all around the world just kind of connecting with us one thing. It's a niche industry in general and I'm sure you could probably agree with this, but you could probably list a few countries outside the U.S.. So if you show up in the right city, you have someone to fly with. Oh, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. It's really a talking to someone. In the U.S., how lucky we are that runs everywhere? Around wherever we want to go. I guess if we were in Atlanta or something. We can hit up Mindy or like Chicago or unfortunately hit up Justin and stuff like that. We need to make a new need to make a new Chicago contact. Kim kirsch lives there. So we asked Justin for a new Chicago Friends? Yeah, Alicia. Sorry, guys. You're out. Yeah. But yeah, that's a huge thing. And I actually have a good example of it. I was on vacation two years ago and Italy. That sounds really pretentious. But I was in como and I saw a sea plane operation going on. And then when I got back home, I mentioned it in a meeting at a OPA. And they're like, oh, you should have sent them an email or called them. They know us. They would have definitely taken up one point. You guys should have told me before. I would have definitely done that. That's everything is awesome. So yeah, and obviously we make a lot of this connections through social media. That is a big bulk of both of our jobs. What are what's not your take on the aviation social media? Are you kind of mentioned that we do have this huge effort and try to help each other out, but it's not always cookie cutter that way. No, not at all, right? Yeah, I think in general, like the community, like what it's about or yeah, I think it's really good. I think it'll get more people on aviation. Speaking from somebody like if my dad wasn't a pilot, I don't know how I would have gotten into it. Just like it's hard to obviously this isn't video, but I definitely don't like point Hispanic, but I am. And that's not usually exposed to that community or other communities like that. Like aviation is. And I think GA is doing a really good job at bringing her social media with GA is making a really good job of bringing G 8 to those populations and everything and kind of broadening the audience. So we kind of hit, which is awesome. I think that's like a really huge benefit for us. And the bigger GA gets the more people, the more diversity, the better it's going to be. Not just Jason Miller's quote, but he's been saying it for the last two years where he's like, we're on the and we're on the cusp of another golden age of GA, which I think he might be right. I think it has to do a lot with social media and kind of encouraging everybody inspiring people on, you know, and it doesn't have to be just in putting out a podcast or Jason. Steve Thorne put in that video. It could be like just us posting a story, right? And somebody seeing it and going like that's awesome. I didn't know you can go get lunch an hour away with an airplane. Can I get motivated that way? It doesn't have to be like career wise just kind of getting into it get into a discovery play..

This is gonna be a 25 minute watcher suit. We were in a tight half hour, nice polished, we're in bed by that one. That would be so impressive. "Johnson is car through an entire scottish building into their truck. It it goes through two walls like the people are in there like shopping or there aren't many so glibly either so quickly. It felt like this movie had the highest death for sure of yasser puerto rico one where they were drag the dragging the fault. Is that what happened. In puerto rico brazil brasilia pretty high body. Count to okay. This is actually. Don't remember anything. Magnets are pulling. Those magnets are pulling people's you know people in their cars people in there. They're pulling they're using those magnets willy nilly and by the way the magnitude it's cool yes such a basic basic idea and i thought it was just in linski came up so fun i liked. His kid saw breaking bad and maybe because reminded me of about that. Yeah which is fine. I mean it was is eighty percent. Magnets eighty percent magnets. They they need the magnets in space. I don't even know the magnus doing. But yeah i mean i guess it's going to everything that has a one zero attached to it is going. I mean they use it a lot for comedy because like you know when romans eating they turn off the magnet the knife yup and then like a laptop hits it too and that laptop is now ruined but they still thought it was hilarious. I everything in that room would be ruined. But that amount of magnetism coursing through small room. I it also seems like their bodies would be ruined by that. I don't think your body should be that close to magnetism like that didn't feel good. It doesn't feel good to me. There's gotta be radiation involved to somehow. Here's my question. And this is my question for the group and we got. We've gotten a little bit away it but we were talking about earlier. So i want to reintroduce when dom and so we we see young don get out of jail and he shows up at a street race. Where young jacob is. Jacob is like the king of street racing now since being in prison. And dom says if i beat you you have to keep driving. Never come back. you have to go away. And he sends jacob basically into exile mea is basically like you know i kept in touch with him a little bit like is dumb forcing mea to choose sides. It's thing is. I'm so glad you brought that up. I remember like yeah i do. So what are you june. I'm curious because i feel like they've never mentioned it before or anything like that. But in my mind. Dom is forcing me to shut out jacob. So man his heartbreaking it is and it felt lake That blast moment were. She goes over and hugs jakup. It felt like she was being released from like a transparent cube out that she had been kept away from him and that like scientology style. He dumb had told her. It's it's him or me. Yea wait through. June setting they. We're kind of coming to here in a very like organic way. Then is emotionally abusive character. He doesn't apologize. He keeps family apart but yet he prevailed projects this image of being perfect but yet he is not demands. He demands that everybody follow his morality. You because it felt like mia doesn't she was in carrying the baggage of like this idea that that That jacob killed her father right into maybe different dads different moms different dads or maybe never told her that jacob was complicit in the murder complicit in the death scene might have let her live a life where she didn't know that and just assume jacob had disappeared. I don't that i don't know you know. He might never have said right he might. Meanwhile jacob was probably hanging out with me during the time that dom was in jail. So like yeah. He's because they're both at the car. Don't you think that if they kept in touch from time to time. Like jacob like yeah. You're dumb did tell me get the fuck out here. I don't know but it i do. Because here's the thing that i keep coming back to these movies and having just watched them all. It's true like the dumb mia brother sister relationship never make sense narrow think do not seem like they are brother and sister. They seem like they're they're part of the same group and they seem like they've been together since since they were young. I understand that they do not seem like brother and brother and sister. So the dom jacob dynamic. I totally understood. But when you factor in this third sibling here and you're barely giving it any weight. But she does have more of a sister to dom because they don't kiss do they. Do they ever leaded rarely in the past. But they there is a very chaste lee represented relationship. I know i was a little bit weird out. Because i couldn't quite tell if like leading into this life there leading i think june you kinda hit the nail on that you couldn't tell she wasn't into it says specifically we don't hide well like piss but your son. Well she has that line where she says. I just remembered who i was and then our whole lives changed. Basically right because remember 'em nesia let's not forget did for just had amnesia. And so just when she remembered who she was came back into the fold. They basically stopped doing adventures and he has a son. Now i mean a pretty wild she just come back into the fold in the last movie or the one movie is the movie prior. She is like oh ladies back. She was a bad guy. She was the bag. She was on dekker's brothers. She was on stadiums. Brothers team the show right. The this are sorry the other shots jamming did the other shod die today kill him. No he's alive. still choose. I think is prison. I think he's in prison too. Yeah and. I don't remember what happened to the sister. And jason stays my thought the last time we saw jason steve. He was walking into a prison narrow corridor and all those guns pointed at him but he's out now as we've seen the at the end of hobson shy you mean or they put him in jail. Oh that was the bad guy. Hobson shot right but they put interest elven that prison. I believe so the walk. Okay so yeah. When we see basically you know justice for han. We get to see a snippet of what that's going to look like in the next movie. Which is han shows up to day themselves and jason. Tatum is like chasing down. Someone for a micro was a a mini hard-drive But beating the best. Reveal of all time jason. You missed the great thing adam. Jason stadium is Punching a boxing. You don't know it. stay at. "Around malone genes in the population at the time. Yeah yeah that's true and there are a you can easily search the internet and see historical pictures of this. There are also works fiction. They're also plays a notably there. There's one play most notably a play called beyond the sunset which came out in the late sixties. Want to say this. This conversation is important because for a long time in my family extended community. The question of origin was a matter of which legend a person prefer and as the united states went through its trials and tribulations the the narratives of these people also changed in step with that. It wasn't until the emergence of better genealogical tools that more people were able to trace this sort of this sort of lineage. Were this sort of family history. And we have one example in the stuff. They don't want to know family of someone who did take a did take dna test. And that's our variable null round. We've talked about this a little bit in the past. But i think you were. You're a little surprised by your results. Well i was surprised that i was kinda underwhelmed I was just kind of lay. We just kind of like a big swath of like basic nordic kind of heritage Without much super interesting But i did find out. There's like another step you can do or you can take those results and get them further. Analyze the give you a little bit more of a a sexy breakdown in terms of legs specifics. But the out of the box Results were a little bit Man man for two hundred dollars method. That's a steal the early early. Da test something like you are from earth that will be five hundred dollars. You probably from one of the continent's but thanks for your dna date so keep that right here. We'll give it right here. So i in in real terms andrew. What this means is that people who are from families that have been historically identified as luncheon will often not physically resemble the malaysians. You would see in an historical search of and people like this are not alone a ton of people in the. Us have more to their family tree. You know than they would guess. And i'll say honestly a lot of people have stuff in their family tree. That would unpleasantly surprised them because history is very very long thing right and we're just the newest part of it. So what does this mean today. And what does this mean for you. Will this means that you have an entirely new book or chapter in in the story of everything that led to you writing us in hearing this podcast. Now if you want to learn more about the current malaysian community which is still active. And if you have facebook than i would recommend checking out Several facebook pages. You can find them pretty easily. It's a bunch of people sharing genealogical information up to and including some of their dna info. That last part. I would be mindful of but it is up to you and i would love to hear back from you. We also love to hear. I personally would love to hear from more people who are historically part of a tri racial isolate community Because these are stories that don't often make it to the mainstream because it might not be a huge community of people or it may be a group of people who are historically disadvantaged and kind of ignored by the mainstream. So if you have a story like that would love to hear it if your walmart is housing helicopters where something that you don't think wal mart pharmacy would normally sell. We'd love to hear it. And if you are one of the jason's would also love to hear from you. You don't have to be one of the elite scientists. Jason's you could just be a jason jason steve or whatever you might be you could be adjacent you. You certainly can't you gotta do is have a computer and internet access. Actually not even that. We'll get to that in a second on the internet. You can find us in the usual places we are on facebook. We are on twitter. We are on youtube at conspiracy stuff on instagram. "Was our hockey for the Yes, it was. So can we look, Let's bring this back, though a conversation from earlier because I wanted to make a point. I want to see what you guys both thought, Especially you, Jason Steve Kerr. This is from NBC Bay Area. Remember, he won championships as a player with Michael Jordan. He won championships as a coach with Kevin Durant. And he made this interesting point about Kevin Durant. When in comparison to Michael Jordan, take a listen. Is the most talented basketball player on Earth if not of all time. Honestly, he's just so gifted, played with Michael Jordan, and I know Katie's No. I think he's more gifted. I really do. I mean, that's saying something. But Kevin is a different entirely different breed. I mean, 6 11. With guard skills unlimited three point range passing stop blocking at the rim. It's just stunning and watching him this year was really, really gratifying to see now I'm not going to. We're not going to argue it. That's his take. That's his His. He has a very intimate knowledge of both players. So I'm not argument. But I'm gonna say this because of what we just saw. Out of Kevin Durant this year and a toenail away from winning a series basically by himself. With that three pointer that ends up being a two they lose in overtime. He had nothing left in the tank. But the entire game. But I'm saying this because Kevin Durant now comes back next year with Brooklyn and they still will be the favorite to win a championship. Kevin Durant is right now. The best player to ever play basketball in New York. For either team. Yeah, He's the best player like Was that even a question, though? No, I'm not. Was that even a question or statement? It's a statement J. He is after one season, seeing him come back because we didn't know what he'd be coming off Achilles, So we really couldn't make that statement now, But I can make it now and if he wins a championship That's one of the great It doesn't matter if it's the net, so the Knicks doesn't matter. It's one of the great stories in New York sports history. What you think about it. Dr. J played for the Nets Jason Kidd. Patrick Ewing, Clyde Frazier Willis Don't He is the most gifted just like, Curse said, But he is the best player to ever play in the biggest market. The biggest basketball market. In the country. And that's that's pretty significant statement. I'm not saying you guys would agree or disagree. I'm just making the statement. I don't I'm just thinking process processing and thinking of my mind what I do know you mentioned kid. You mentioned Dr J. Obviously, he would keep going. No, I'm just I'm just going through my mind process. I'm just but how about I'll at this counter? I mean, Alan. I'm interested, though. For one quick second before you provide the caveat missing anybody, Because are you so it's This conversation. Do you consider Brooklyn, part of New York now because before a lot of you have a lot of Knick fans that don't feel like Brooklyn is New York Geographically, he plays now You can't say all of a sudden, like, Well, he's the greatest player in New York before you argue that he's not really part of the New York Well, no between his New York man. Hey, I know sometimes, but sometimes we have fun. And just say that stuff like they're not really New York, where the where the taxes are taxes based on that team plays in their queen charge for you, but so let me add the caveat, though. Let me add the caveat. The caveat is this. Now I think, though he'd really like he need to win a championship to be too. The statement is made and you can't take it back because of his talent. But if he really wants to be legendary in New York, he's got to win the championship. There's a huge difference between being great and then be a legendary in this city. It's a very special thing. Winning a championship stamps him. I think he'll win a championship. You think you'll do it? Yeah, if they if they stay healthy, well, it's a big if, though we said that already, Okay, so When they're healthy. Is that better for you? Well, they have to, though it helped us a part of it. For every everybody. You're right in the team. That is the healthiest usually come out on top when they're good. You see right now The sons are healthy. Chris Paul is healthy. The only reason why he had to Mrs Because of the protocols, not the injuries. We saw what happened to the Lakers. We saw what happened. To Denver. We saw what happened to the Clippers. Well, look what happened to the Warriors. When he got hurt. They couldn't win a championship. When you look at it, let's assume they are going to be healthy. Like you said. They're going to probably be the favorites coming in. And they'll probably go from wire to wire. I mean, that's probably the case if they're all healthy. Don't win a championship here because they're not going to. First of all, they can't go anywhere. Then he will go into into the history of New York sports as one of the all time greats to ever play for a team. In this city. One of the all Brooklyn's finest, the all time greats, Finest. I'm talking Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Man like you can put Mark Messier whoever put them all on the list. I don't care that there's not a huge fan base for this team. The reality is that they have never seen a player of his caliber play basketball for a team in this city. It's we've never seen it. I'm curious, because I know you're a diehard Knicks fan like with Knicks fans embrace Kevin Durant as a New York No. You don't so you don't You recognize it? But I don't think you embrace it. Just we talk about Clippers and Lakers. Of course, why wins the championship, But he's saying he's saying as a New Yorker opposing New Yorkers, That's what opposed..

Kevin Durant Chris Paul Michael Jordan Joe DiMaggio Mark Messier Jason Steve Kerr Patrick Ewing Jason Kidd New York Alan Clyde Frazier Willis Kevin Knicks next year Clippers Lakers J. this year Curse Mickey Man

"Went to la basically said like it's nice to be treated like a star finally and it's like man like it's not just. The coach is not just the players on the floor. It seems like top down that organization just isn't it isn't making players feel special and it isn't putting them in positions to succeed so even when they get good players they're creating obstacles between adam and being successful that don't need to be so on on top of that they just they don't have as much down as rosters in the league. They are in a series of of the rebuild their dallas from last year. They are new york from last year without sabrina they. They're kind of built to win right now. A lot of teams are going for it this year. There's probably five or sixteen. It really think they have a chance right now. A lot of others. That are kind of doing some retooling and it's kind of disappointing to see them on the outside looking in this really tightly packed or through ten or eleven seed. Stay standings are so tight and then there's the fever which every team right now is just counting as an automatic win under schedule next question. Which uniform do you like the best. Now that you've seen them on the court give me like Three three rd answer seem on the court. The liberty heroines a. Yeah those are good one. And if i'm being honest maybe just you're talking about but the the navy blue fever jerseys. Now that i've seen. I really like those in. I gotta go. I gotta make our. La co hosts that have been on the show a little bit happy. Jason steve of. You're listening the night like the city night the black and yellow. La sparks jersey. Those look good on the court. Those are really solid. And it's we regret it. Because i think you already know a lot of jerseys already love so. I was trying to go with that. I haven't really called out yet. It's still very happy. It's like a moment of joy. Every time i turn on the league this year and i see a phoenix versus links game. And i'm just as they look like they're team they don't look like like euro league or they don't look at college or mcdonald's all american like look their brain and i think i'm gonna throw in phoenix. You asked for three but all of phoenix is looks. I'm like this is what they needed all along like. I really like all phoenix. Looks but those those are the ones that stand out to me. Really the liberty looks. I know they got a lot of draw in the offseason for being very good but the home home whites when they wear those. I just think they're so nice. I'd agree with that. I think i'll give a little shout out to like indiana and minnesota and dallas and new york. All those home whites look so clean so clean i. I wish that there was more availability to have those available for purchase. The one that. I wasn't as as down with until i saw it on the court. I really like seattle's rebel. Jerseys does look really good on the court for me and maybe for a similar reason as you the maybe it's the dark the maybe the dark just looks really good. It's kind of. It's not quite black. I'd say like kind of like a dark like charcoal. Maybe like overall color scheme but it fits it. Fits really really well so right. Let's see lure we're going to wrap up the we're gonna wrap the the mailbag portion here. There's one other one. Let's see how how you feel with the schedule. Teams that play a team like two two times in a row have back to back series with the team. What do you think is that. Is that good for the league's that bad for the league. How you feel about that a lot of it. I love it. This season has the smallest average margin of victory like on record since the since the beginning since the league began. And that's including fever team. That's losing by quite a quite a lot and kind of skewing. The average is higher than they even seem to be the average margin of victory. Now's like six point. And i think it's because when you play back to back like that i'm with with a night in between. I think it favors the lesser team at favors. The underdog helps the underdog alerts games. Closers yeah you learn teams tendencies. You make quick adjustments you get time to really like try different things out and and solve problems that you're seeing on the floor. It's a great example of this look at dallas seattle. Yes those games. They played three times over the course of about two weeks and you could tell each progressive game. Dallas was feeling closer and closer to figuring something out and now it looks like dallas is figuring stuff.

last year five Jason steve sixteen three times this year new york ten euro league three indiana Dallas six point sabrina eleven about two weeks minnesota three rd answer one phoenix

Virginia, You guys hear the story about KFC partnering with lifetime and hiring. Mario Lopez has a star. I've ignored that story. As Colonel Sanders. That visual is jarring. Get it Chicken. Wow. Hmm. I want you to stop talking about this. Hey, Can we actually address Why these air at work? No. Yeah, please. Do I like this? First of all, you know, clearly we have disgusting people that work in this building. Yeah, but I mean the guy power washing the windows should stop through the hallways here every once in a while and douse. Some of these people agree, but to find what a year's called Good wipes below the belt wipes and these are called down there wipes and these have been found at the workplace for people to wash their genitals. So I got him for you guys as a Christmas gift. You found them in the building, though, is my problem. A gift is a gift. There you go. There you go. Said Jason gift is a gift, Jason. Steve Gregory has joined us. We're talking about hospitals, reactions to the county outlawing outdoor dining. So you spoke with chef Andrew Greul from slap fish, among other restaurants, right about his reaction to it, and he was one of those guys who's video when pretty viral late last week or over the weekend over the weekend about his reaction to it. Yeah, he was talking about the fact that the you know he's got He says. I've got tons of plexiglass in a warehouse now of thousands of dollars in additional safety protocols and PPE and everything he says, and they've told us the state told us that outdoor dining was safe. It was a safe, safe alternative, and now they're telling us it's not. They've not been able to prove that it's not safe. And so he goes on and on and on, and he was talking about the reaction. He got to Some of the I guess some critics if you will, on his viral video, and some people called him a grandmother killer. And that he was, you know, being stupid and lacked foresight, and he was irresponsible and reckless And in this final cut here, this is what he had to say about that. Look, you know, so at the end of the day, everybody was calling me and I realized, Look, I'm not Newsome's the he's breaking his own words. He's breaking his own rules. He's the one out there lying to us about it. So at the end of the day, that's a behavior if you ask me, I'm not lying. There you go. Well He makes an absolutely perfect point that the rules that are imposed by whether it's county City, County or state governments, right? They've got to have some amount of credibility and we've seen in the last six weeks, eight weeks, perhaps the credibility of the people who are coming up with these rules. Just go down the toilet. Sure. I mean, it is swirling the drain and it's not because it's not because anything we've done. It's because of things that they've done and the fact that they've not Backed up their decisions with any sort of credible data or science. It's that they've ignored the own ruled the rules that they have been imposed upon all of us peons and exist simply to at least the appearances, they exist simply to control a population. I think what's happening and I think work began to unravel us when you started seeing things like the governor, dining at the French laundry and then him trying to backpedal that and what the chef was talking about there, too. So, he said. Number. The governor came out and said We were outdoors and we were doing everything we had to do until pictures surfaced. And then they had to back, you know. Do you try to backpedal on that one as well? I don't think people Really accepted that apology. Then the lawmakers in Hawaii and now one by one, a governor here, a mayor there, and I think what's happening? It's it's completely eroded the trust of the public weal, and they are opting to keep some lucrative business is up and running like the film industry, like the ski resorts, and all of that, there was a woman who owns the Pineapple Saloon in Grill in Sherman Oaks that took a video that really captured the hypocrisy of the whole thing. Yeah, her name ready to go. Uh, where to go. The place is called air comes So this is my place The Pineapple Hill Grill in saloon. "We ought to think about tone and die memory and two thousand seven I said that they know nothing it's it's not it's a different kind of situation this is just the need for fiscal policy monetary policy is over so what do you mean when you say the need for fiscal policy I mean I think that when you do obviously need leadership from washing saying we're going to make it so that small and medium sized businesses that would otherwise go wander out of opportunity of no interest loans have port yes the fact right although at this point they're not dismissing there may they may not be dismissing their workers they may not be bringing in the changes in behavior that would slow the spread of the virus he sent it to him as his sister that was Jim Cramer talking about this is this is this is gets down to it this is where the same small businesses you may have to forgive loans on the whole side in this by the way both monetary fiscal physicals where you spend money right account and and monetary is about the federal reserve interest rates the availability capital quantitative easing put here you may have some combination I think we say monetary policy it's just not another rate cut a rate cuts not gonna do this for you right what you gonna have to happen particularly in you look at the the cruise business you look at the airlines look at Boeing the bit that you're dead in the guise of the Pacific Northwest as high vantage this number reached as a Starbucks these are guys make in you know the what eighty Bucks an hour they're welders doing the you know making the fabless planes Boeing mix you've got you've got particularly only gas since Saudi Arabia went I think full gangsters somebody can tell me differently Hey but I think they went full gangster this weekend right the P. rolled up you know princes in the world family she rolled up the guy who was the crown prince before rolled this guy up role of all the people around him basically get Russia faced in essentially got America's face I mean the the the the break even price I think and you know go to war go to hash tag warm twenty twenty one here all your comments or should be part of the show particularly guys that they're in West Texas the men and women in West Texas and Pennsylvania tell us what the break even point is for fracking I think it's forty dollars a barrel the Saudis are saying Hey if we get to go to twenty four to twenty I realize they're trying to mess with OPEC and get some issues they need cash themselves right however that's also pointed at the fracking industry the nice states they don't like the United States being full spectrum energy dominant so if you're president trump to call and be as today Teladoc off I think I called the king thanks for calling B. S. I called the king and said Hey you know I don't know what your kids don't like but I don't think he checked in first I don't know what you guys are doing which was the allies and you've been a good outlook Reagan we have not brought down the Soviet Union if the Saudis had not pump like crazy and broke the back of the Russian only gas industry back in the eighties basically they did the same thing with this is that what this is going to be this is a very geopolitical in a place where the Iranians who are having an existential crisis of their own leadership right now Cuomo me they've got the virus they got the virus as bad as well okay we'll take another short commercial break to thirty nine in the wake up to election day Jason Steve will be back in a moment.
