"Jason Fitz in four Trey and Mike as we get you set for your Memorial Day, cookout plans, and a lot of conversation Toronto headed to the first ever finals who've been talking about that. They are a heavy underdog obviously, as we go into the series. Now, Ryan Holland, we had on earlier told us in no uncertain terms, how this series is going to go. This is what he said. I say six a hard six, this is a a faithful. Six to to to Toronto. I believe that this is a team that can attack the warriors where in the paint. But the one thing that the warriors are really good at Jason Fitz. Is they just man. And if you're going to beat this team for seven games, you've gotta beat them in so many different ways in fashions informs how you can win the battle in the paint. The guess what? The warriors come out, and they go big DeMarcus cousins may be healthy and back to get some quality minutes there that say you focus all your energy towards Steph curry, well, Klay Thompson gets back. We'll get say we focus on Klay Thompson instep Craig got those figured out. Andre eagle goes off for seventeen points. Just ask the Houston Rockets. So that tough thing is they can play so many different thousand win. And Tim Legler described it kind of a randomness to the Golden State offense. You don't know where the ball's gonna be. I think of it, like if you've ever been to a bingo hall and seen the thing we're. All the bingo balls are bouncing around in the hopper there. Everything's in constant motion for Golden State on offense. And even if Kevin Durant comes back, the best version of their basketball team has that element of randomness to it. And so it's a lot harder than just saying. All right with Milwaukee, we're going to focus on Janas and cut off the head of the snake, by the way, if you missed our entire interview with Ryan Holland's go check. Check it all out on demand and the golden coming podcast brought to you by capital. One capital. One is reimagining banking offering a concert, no fees, or minimums, that can be open in just five minutes, Capital One. What's in your wallet Capital, One NA member FDIC? I see by the way, the bingo hall thing very overwhelming for me. When you play like fifty two different ports at once and they're calling it out, and how do you get the little doctor to get to that number that quickly? Like it's mad. I'm out on big hearts at that point. Big money. Bingo is a staple of the goal and family. Some are coming out. We put keeps lying my not surprised by that, that the raptors by the way big underdog in this one right now. They're a plus two sixty which means one hundred dollar bet would win you two hundred six. Eighty dollars according to one of the oddsmakers a little bit of perspective that would put them as a bigger underdog than the Cavs word that beat the warriors in two thousand sixteen in seven games put some is a bigger underdog in the Celtics. The beat the Lakers in six games in twenty eighteen. So it's, it's pretty unusual, unusual category. For a winner. The biggest upset ever was two thousand four at least in the last thirty years, two thousand four the pistons were plus five hundred and they beat the Lakers in five games. So they whooped up on the Lakers, as a heavy underdog, but puts a little context how underdog the raptors imagined saying that now the confidence in this Golden State team coming off the western finals before the conference finals, we wouldn't have been talking about this. You had so many people predicting the bucks team that we're gonna win this Golden State without Kevin Durant. There's no way, they'd be able to snap back in to their old style and one series later on both sides, boy, what a different tune, we say, are you singing a different? Tune it comes to actually winning this though. I mean I know you've been you were. The one that was right on the raptors early and you looked at it. And today, this simple, the raptors we're the best team in the east other than LeBron. Now, there's no LeBron. They're going to be the best team in the east. They've added coli all of that turned out to be true. I just don't think they have any way to stop the variety to your point the movement of the ball. I don't think they have any way to slow that offense down. And even though the, the warriors have had their, their issue shooting the ball at different times throughout the course of this postseason. I don't know who's going to match up with who that's going to actually stop the warriors from scoring it will. No, I it's it's been the most concerning thing, too, is yeah, you're not gonna be able to stop Golden State from scoring but also, Golden State. We remember butter their bread. As a defensive team for a long time, we saw them get back to that during the Western Conference finals. You had games. Andrea Gonzala member had that great strip on the final possession to seal that one on Draymond green at five blocks in a game. They got back to defense during this run also which is scary for a team that. Yeah. Well, vanfleet and Kyle Lowry. Gave you buckets in good spots. This playoff runs been defined by Kawai having to score or assist on almost every bucket that the raptors have gotten well, and there was an interesting stat going into the weekend before game six about wide open looks for vanfleet. And I think he shot seven of eight games three and four and before that he'd been seven of twenty or something to that childbirth. Right. But the, the other part of that, is that, that phrase that we didn't talk about is wide open looks I mean, you're talking about van bleak, getting thirty forty looks over the course of a series where no one was within six feet of him. I don't think that's going to happen against Golden State. They're going to have to work harder to get open looks and I just don't know how MVP sort of thrives in that setting. And there are so many to your point, there's so many players for Golden State that can lockdown. They can lockdown everybody and you can't lock all of them down. That's just the mismatch in this, that my mind can't get around. We'll have to talk about. Andrea Gonzalo Draymond green is the first aims out of your mouth on that. But you've also got negate in series where we're gonna talk about quiet Leonard, as probably the best. Player in the NBA and definitely the best two way player Klay Thompson would also like to raise his hand in that two way argument, one of the best perimeter. Defenders this league has in addition to being one of the two original splash, brothers well, and with clay, you're talking about somebody that has the chip on his shoulder of recent disrespect because he didn't make the NBA all NBA team. What better way to sort of address that hard like coming out and become in the finals MVP up and you come out and you're Certa, and you sort of come out at that point and say now he's twenty to one odds right now? Steph curry is to three Colli eleven four clay for context. Twenty one twenty two one he's behind Kevin Durant, who were not even sure when we're going to see in this series. And that's the that is an exce back for clay like I do believe that you're gonna see clay come out with a little bit of a, you know, forget you I'm capable of doing more than people think that I am NBA finals game. One by the way, is Thursday at nine pm eastern on ESPN radio as always. And of course, on ABC we'll get you caught up throughout the course of the week coming up, how cloudy is the freaks. Future. Milwaukee, we'll get to that next wing on ESPN radio and is always hanging out on ESPN news. It takes more than hard work to make it to the pros. It takes smarts kind of smarts that can read a defense and pick it apart hirings no different.

"Jason Fitz in for tracing with Mike Golic Mike Golic junior and gentlemen, all the conversation about the all NBA team. And what it means financially. You know, Klay Thompson is absolutely the one name that really sticks out on this, because let's remember Klay Thompson is somebody that had he made the all NBA team would be eligible for a ton more money from Golden State, and instead he sort of found out in the moment. This is rare when you find out in the moment that you didn't win this prestigious honor. So this is this is clay finding out an answering a question about it. Yawn. Daddy came out today. I mean that's cool. But like. When you go to five. I respect those guys the holy. When you go straight. I mean, it takes more than just a couple of. All time team, but whatever is not gonna championship and be thirteen. So. This is what it is. I can't control it. I think there's. Many guards there. No. That's the reason I was still playing. So wanna get into it. Harry. Brings. You have to see to see his eye-roll when you know, when he's told Kemba Walker got there. And he didn't you just and then he said all the right things. You know, if you just hearing the audio of it rings are more important than money. And, you know, you could definitely tell he was aggravated by it without question. But the eye roll was was very, very evidence. Well, and the amount of money, that's I mean, I know that everybody, he's gonna get asked question that moment, I can't imagine finding out that your livelihood just changed drastically in the middle of the interview and handling. I wanna give a little credit there, because when you're finding out that your contract value just changed drastically and you've still got a handle the media correctly. That's that's good on clay big mad. You know what I give them credit for being very real in that moment. Like you saw human being realized that they got. I mean we all know that Claes obviously still going to be able to eat. And life is going to be all right for him. Yeah. But finding out that in a moment because of the wind. "You are getting two of the five or six best players in the entire MBA taking each other on the best of seven series for two teams that have a lot of talent around those guys. I cannot wait for what that's going to be in the Eastern Conference continues to be a head of scheduling giving us spectacular basketball. I completely agree. It won't be the traditional one on one matchup. They're definitely going to guard each other at points, but neither will be the team's main defensive option against the other one. Right. So we will see plenty of face to face one on one battles. But they're going to be guarded by others. The majority of the time doesn't make it any less. Exciting to consider those two on the court going head to head seeing who can be dominant. So that series is going to be thrilling coming up. Could this be a franchise changing loss for the Sixers? "I don't think they need making the big part of the decision-making just if they want to festival teams thing need to pick somebody who will be able to connect with the branching like that doesn't mean that he have to part of the decision making process. It's just they should have somebody who has a good relationship with him. We're talking to Sabrina merchant covers the Lakers and clippers Espy nation. Spain and Fitz sarahspain Jason Fitz Sabrina, they can't figure out the coaching situation. The LeBron situation seems awkward why would free agents this summer wanna come play for the Lakers. What's weird about this whole thing? Is there still a lot of optimism around the Laker Ouaga spirit that Madonna's already secured the commitment and the second star. I mean here Brian talking about how Tyree and LeBron subservient. The and Jimmy Butler gets mentioned with the Lakers a lot. I think the fact that LeBron is here is pretty good incentive to bring I can start. But I'm with you. I don't see how you can go into pitch meeting with the free agent say, well, we got our fourth choice. Head coaching candidates, but you should still pick for your number one free agent. That's that doesn't seem to make a lot of time screen. There was a very poorly attended protests and putting that in quotation marks food Venice is a radio show, but how seriously should the Lakers and bus. And and even LeBron maybe take how disgruntled the fans are with how things have been handled. The fact that the process was at staple center, rather than the facts ability where Jeannie bus and the rest of the front office nominally conduct their operations zest that kind of just wanted to get more media attention than actual flaker attention. But I do think we're reaching kind of breaking point with LeBron James. I don't see him the Manding trade only because he wanted to move family out to LA this appears VIN eight decision not just for me basketball perspective, but also a personal perspective. And I don't think he's gonna up all of that. But I do think it's very clear that the fan base is upset with ownership and up till now ownership has kind of been insulated from all of the criticisms of the front office. Come to Johnson and rumbling go or before that, you know Cup checks. But now, I think we're getting to the root of the problem, which is that genius hasn't been able to run the team in the same fashion that for father did. Talking to Sabrina merchant covers the Lakers clippers for Espy nation. Spain and Fitz Sabrina how upset with the fan base be then right now if the Lakers just decided they want to move on from LeBron. I literally cannot even imagine what would happen when they wanted to touch it. I it's I think about it a lot just like my theoretical perspective and just blank blank flashes. Coming head. "Jason Fitz in portrays it with Mike Golic, Michael junior your level of excitement is that you to realize that it's a superhero movies. So things are going to blow up and the good guys are going to win. Right. Like, I just don't I just hope. I could do without some of the ant man theories of gone around the internet. Let's just stay away from that one. But. Very excited. I am looking forward to it L honesty. But I am looking forward to the draft. I so for you guys. When is the first surprise whether by person pick not pick or trade that you guys think will happen. I mean, I genuinely I don't think is going to be the first overall pick. And I know everybody else that would be the biggest. I industry I wouldn't do it. I would not do a drive column. I keep Josh Rosen. But I don't think that's going to happen. But that would to me would be. And then if if that's not going to be is going to be the jets trading down is it going to be Oakland trading down. Or is it going to be Washington? Trading up into the top five if they really wanna quarterback. I think it's Oakland because whatever the jets do want surprise me. We had with us before said the worst kept secret in the world right now is that the jets wanna trade down in this draft? But if they took quitting Williams, none of us. It'd be all that surprised either. Obvious picks in the top three. What's going to surprise me? Whatever the raiders do just because starting at four they controlled to keep using this reference, but they had the most 0 stones on the table right now, you've got three first round picks and front office. That right now seems like it's kind of a volatile place. I I really I mean, I know maybe I'm just dying on a hill for no reason. But I disagree with everybody. I don't think they Kyla Mary goes I overall. And I think that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers absolutely should be in the market for a quarterback. So to me, I think the biggest prize in the top five is Kylie doesn't go first overall. But the Tampa Bay gets into the quarterback play. That's why I am while. On landing. Devon, Devon white. Yeah. "I'm Jason Fitz infra trae hanging out with Mike Golic, Michael junior. We were just talking about obviously a little bit of the new af starting, but let's remember only a few days away from the Super Bowl and to help us break down. What was the magical weekend from the shell Pennzoil performance? I'm pro football hall of Famer Tylar joins us tie. Thanks for some time. Congratulations. I mean, we gotta ask walk. Walk us through that moment when you get the knock on the door. And you realize it's the moment that you're about to be told you're a hall of Famer. It was surreal. It was. I was in that room. You know, the last two years as a finalist and get the phone call, you know, this time, you know, I realized it was taking a little bit longer. But you never know how law those guys are going as far as, you know, you know, their deliberations for is, you know. Call you know, it takes longer at one time. It was ten minutes. They knew right away. Next time. I waited thirty thirty forty minutes and just went loggers are like. May be a possibility, but it may not be. But I was just so happy and overwhelm what I get that. Realized I was now a pro football hall of Famer so take people inside a little bit because I found it fascinating a couple of years ago when I really learned how the process worked when Tony Boselli guy who's been a finalist for a few years talked about you have to actually sit in a hotel room and wait for a couple of hours, and you're either waiting for a knock on the door or a phone call. I mean that has to be incredibly nerve-wracking, it is credited, no racketed cata takes you pull circle because you know, as you might coming out of out of college and you waiting for your phone the ring to get drafted. But when you're talking about the pro football hall of fame, that's the thing that you do not want to happen. And it just so happens that my phone kept ringing and ringing and ringing. You know from people well-wishers, wishing you could look at people just call in general what's going on. And it was really pissing me off to me. But. Because. I didn't recognize the Ken area code. So that was that was a good thing. But you know, you could eight not to have to wait for nuts. And then you might hear a knock because champ Bailey is was rule was not too far from mine. They they they they didn't give a do a great job with that one. So you heard some you heard screams noticed let somebody ran, you know, I didn't realize it was champs a rule. But I know it wasn't mine. And it just so happened that I was the last person, you know, you know, to get the knocking now is the final guy. So I mean, I it is stressful nerve racking, and I was expecting, you know. Either. I knew I could win either way. But when it happened man, and they're all your family is there and everybody was more competent than me going into it. Because I realized the process and everybody wants to come down. So I'm like man, I'm going to spend the extra. Fifteen gram of bringing people down here because they think I'm going hall of fame, and then I'll be pissed off this extra money. Didn't have had a you know the Walker though Walker. Shame.

"But I wouldn't do that talking to Tim Kirkman at Spain and fit Sarah Spain and Jason Fitz won't wanna get of course, to the other people who were inducted, but looking at the very small relatively percentage for bonds, you know, to to to go up, and and what we've said before about how much you need to. Increase year by year in order to make it feel like there's a likelihood you're getting in does this sort of tell you that without a total sea change in public opinion over the next three years. Those guys aren't getting in the that's what I see from today. Now, things can change cheap mind. Edgar Martinez started at twenty five percent and ended at eighty five percent. So you can make push. But there's no baggage with Edgar like there are like there is what those other steroid guys. So in the end, it's a very tricky situation. But to make up sixteen percent of the vote in three years is very hard to do. And there is still a large faction of voters who say if you have a connection to PD's, no matter who you are. You're not getting so Tim when you look at this hall of fame class aside for Mariano getting one hundred percent of the vote. What else stands out to your mind that history will remember to make this particular class special? Well, Mike Messina should have been in his first year eligible for me pitches entire career in steroid era. He pitches entire career the American. League East a D H league. He pitched two-thirds of his games that tiny little ballpark in Baltimore and still one to seventy games with a winning percentage that only ten guys have ever matched with that many wins. That's how great he was one of the smartest players have been around and ROY halladay to go in on the first ballot. I thought was wonderful again over two hundred wins with a winning percentage that high like ten other guys have done that also and one of the great BULLDOGS ever. "I might go junior Jason Fitz and out into the guys and Mike. I'm just going to admit it straight out. I've got I've got a new celebrity man crush, really. Yeah. Yeah. Like, I didn't think this was possible. But but my my love every single Sunday for Tony Romo, only grows and grows. So you're new on the hype train I liked it. I I liked it. So you you were just dipping a toe in the water that I mean, but let's face it. Tony's usually on like the big broadcast and like the game. I usually have the audio on is not the big broadcast raiders. So like, I don't I don't get. Here is much of the greatness. Sometimes, you know, like, you you hear some of it but not as much but my God like yesterday is I'm watching this game on fold. I'm thinking he's not he's not a quarterback. He's not an announcer. He's a golden God of radio or TV. He's golden got. He might be a goal and got a radio we let him to untapped potential left. And right and see that's the difference between you and me is much. Like Louis Riddick are ESPN NFL analysts was first market on Patrick Mahomes. This off season saying this is going to be a stud all these great predictions. The first time I heard Tony Romo. I knew like I've been in love with this guy since day one. And when you love someone you make time for them you carve out space for them in your life. So I made sure I was sitting around watching those Tony Romo broadcast games getting a little glimmer this because what we saw yesterday was definitely like a crescendo like this was the high watermark for Tony going into the Super Bowl that he's going to call what a gift to all of us because this guy yesterday when he hits man, that's the thing. He combines the best element of what you're supposed to be in the booth you'd all this energy rise by. And then he combines that with nailing every bit of football when he hits on the football. Now says he doesn't just say, oh, yeah. They're gonna hit a deep shot heroi blitz here. It's no it's the exact play. I mean it won't be yesterday. He's drawing on the on the screen is like, hey, he's gonna chip here. He's gonna chip here. And then the balls either going to gronk up top or it's going to go to Etem and crossing over depending on what the safety does. And then you're watching the play develop. Oh my God. I mean, it was like this freeze frame version of hey, guys. Instead of letting me break this down afterwards. Why show you the play? I'm gonna break it down beforehand. Like that isn't that some Nostradamus stuff right there. It's amazing because as someone who is fortunate. I've I call some college football games here at ESPN in the last couple of years in that color role in the booth and as someone who's watching consumed. I'm always really curious about what people actually want to hear when they're talking in the booth is it someone who's going to ride and give you a lot of energy think about dick by towel in college basketball. You can always feel just how much he loves. The game and loves being around these marquee events. And then on the other side of it. You've got guys that can give you really great in-depth analysis, and Tony seems to combine both in a way that so rare, and it seems so organic because so much of this knowledge, you just remember like come second-hand like when you sit around and talk to these kind of quarterbacks who have the benefit of so many reps. Either playing this practicing this watching it on tape, and you see it just sort of fall out in that..

Obviously so much conversation in the NFC championship game about the clearly missed past interference call given that call and given how important that moment was how would you expect the league in the competition committee to react to it and move forward? I would I would expect that replay since replay was instituted in order to make sure that agrees errors did not affect the outcome of games. And you're trying to get the game as right as possible. While at the same time slowing the game down too much. I think in those situations, especially when we're talking about well card divisional championship games that lead to the Super Bowl. Or to get the thing in front of you and not spend enough time looking for what else is out there. And it sounds to me like they did enough interviews elsewhere. They found enough information out that they needed about other guys. And in the end they looked at the offense of difference between what that team was doing before kitchens took over as offensive coordinator. And what happened after they looked at the relationship that I presume they spoke very carefully with Baker Mayfield about what do you like about this guy is this someone that you want to work with? And they said why would we ignore the proof in the pudding right in front of us. Well, and it's a surprising decision to me. I mean, let's remember that he was the assistant head coach. But also the running backs coach when he was promoted to interim offensive coordinator one of the arguments that the. Greg Williams wasn't likely to stay on a staff where he had been the interim head coach he's not likely to take a step back. But for them to almost immediately say, hey, Freddie, kitchens, our coach, and by the way, we're parting ways with Greg Williams. I mean, Greg Williams was part of that turnaround over the last couple of months of the season two. So whatever they saw from Freddie, kitchens far outweighed what they saw from Greg Williams who also interviewed for this job. Cowboys' Allen Hurns sustains severe lower leg injury

"To look at all of his mistakes, he's going to play better. I mean, there's a benefit of the doubt that I can give Philip rivers not the brand of the chargers because we're used to them choking. But a veteran quarterback Philip rivers has played. I think he's gonna come in and have sort of an electrifying second opportunity. Plus, this is a chargers team that found a way to win in Pittsburgh win in Kansas City. I don't see any reason why they should be intimidated about it at the concept of winning in Baltimore that is Jason Fitz host to Spain and fits, and I agree. One hundred percent. My my feeling is the chargers are going to be the first team to see Lamar Jackson twice. I think that's really significant. I think the way that they were able to box him in. Now, he had one great throw. And then he ran for a first down in the soccer stadium in San Diego. So I'm not saying at all Nick cattles that they contained Lamar Jackson, but they did not allow him to run all over. For them. I will extend the point of Jason Fitz and rivers and and how he's expecting him to play. Well, and especially he thinks he can get by on the road. And he brought up the Kansas City game in Pittsburgh game. Let's all realize this that when LA gets off a plane there eight zero this year when they board a plane to play a football game. They're eight and zero in Philip rivers. His QBR is actually better on the road than it is in L A. And I think that is absolutely. Because of that crowd in L A, if you've seen the pictures on Twitter and everything they have about half the crowd full of chargers fans that place has overtaken by visiting teams. It's so bad that the Oakland Raiders when they played the Oakland Raiders that weekend in LA at home. They actually had a pipe in fake sound during practice to get their players ready for a home game for the noise that the raiders fans would make. So I think the chargers on the road that's not going to bother them. And I think Baltimore's issue. I. I agree with your Jackson point. And I'll also say this. They are awful in the red zone. Twentieth. On offense twenty-fourth on defense if they're not better in the red zone. Tomorrow. Chargers went all right came night, ESPN radio and the ESPN app. I I don't mean to belabor this point in Dallas Cowboys are up three nothing. Seven twenty eight to go in the first Allen Hearns broke his leg on a reception. And this has been going on what what boys for probably at least five minutes. Now, the Dallas Cowboys are standing around the field watching all of this unfold. And you can see Dak Prescott Colby's Lee. The defense. All of these guys are standing there staring at this. Jason Garrett is kneeling down holding his hand while they administer care to him. I'm not trying to be heartless. But that's about the last thing that I think they should be doing. I think this Hearns injury is going to be a big big impact. And maybe it's good in it motivates them. But I don't feel good about the fact that all of the Cowboys are standing there watching. Hearns crying that seems that. And I'm not trying to be a jerk. I know that sounds heartless, Nick. But it seems like this is going to impact them emotionally looked shook. And I don't know if he's going to stay, but he looks shook he looked wide eyed. I will say this. I remember going back to last basketball season first game of the year, and the Celtics and Hayward went down with that gruesome gruesome injury looks somewhat similar to what Hearns is dealing with right now. And a lot of people wondered how the Celtics would react, and they actually fought back, and they used it as motivation, and it drove them the play better. I don't know what's going to happen with the Cowboys. This is one of those things when you don't know how a team is going to react because they could react either way. They could be as I said shook like back in that. Yeah. And then the game is pretty much done after that. Or they could be motivated. We'll find out three nothing. Cowboys over the Seahawks. Seven twenty eight to go in the first game. Allen Hearns has suffered a significant leg injury. They are actually at this moment rolling him off the field on a on a vehicle. So a tough situation in Dallas. Let's come back. We'll recap what happened in Houston. The colts are moving on to Kansas City. We have twenty one to seven win over the Texans. But can the colts challenge the chiefs next weekend? And which teams playing this week have the best chance of making a deep run through the playoffs. That's next on game night, ESPN radio and the ESPN app. Hey, y'all

"Bobby carpenter? I'm Jason Fitz in for the guys. And we've been we've been doing some rankings today in honor of trays typical top five ish rankings. We've been ranking things you guys have been awesome about that. I think we're gonna put a final ranking up on social media a little later on one of these categories. So we'll have to make some final decisions as I goes on the fact that you you'd say careless whisper there, I mean, the vocal quality that you need for that the vocals carry the saw, and that's like seeing purple rain by prince, I see people. To do them. Like, you do realize how good of a singer? He is and you're gonna have to carry this melody with your own voice like living on a prayer. I'm going to get some energy. I'm gonna get the crowd. You get the microphone going into the audience a little bit just overwhelm you with passion. Bobby referencing? The fact that one of the categories suggested top five karaoke songs, and I said careless whisper b a mind again, this isn't even a humble brag. Like, I've won some good money and karaoke contest singing, some careless whisper, so i-i-in skirt of it. I'll go George Michael all day. It's the one frustrating thing about fits is. He has that quality and whenever anytime you're around musicians. I it's it always frustrates me. Because we all walk around the house. We're on the shower and we'll harm or we'll sing along to a song. And when the volumes up on the radio, you feel pretty good about I always feel like I can sing pretty good. And then you get you get around these musicians, and they're just kinda doing it carelessly going about their business. And it sounds like a track that you would hear on the radio. And I'm like, why are you giving these gifts and all I was was. Able to get in someone's way. Like turn this around the now, you know, how I feel when I go to the gym. And I'm over in the section of the weights Jerry can attest to yesterday. I'm over with plastic weights. You know, like the ones that are colored pink waves. Yeah. Yeah. Those weights I'm in and I'm like. Grunting and then you just walk over and you're like fifteen plates on each side, and you're curling like, it's a beer. So we all have our strengths and weaknesses. I feel like, you know, I'm lifting extraordinary weight with the little tiny plates that I had to hustle and bustle to get on those, and you guys just we all have different things that we're gonna here's the one thing I'll say about lifting if you spend enough time an inordinate amount of time an inordinate amount of years like working out, you will get stronger, potentially reach your full genetic potential and look better be stronger than you were before I could sing for twelve hours a day for the next ten years, and I will probably only sound marginally better than I than I do right now. And that's not reassuring to me. I work. No. Pity class because I'm not good. I know that I know how I'm self aware enough to know that awful singer. That's always the worst part about it too on the on the physical performance. I because even I I've said this football like fits for a long time was a musician and Fitz was in the band Perry you and I played football. You played football a lot longer than I did. But eventually that ends, and it's not a transferable. Skill set like you could still walk around and look great and work out. But even that after a while is going to diminish to a certain point is going to wake up, and he is still going to be able to sing when my body has long since withered and devolved into the fat sloppy mess that I will become at some point when I'm older your voice goes a little bit there. Bobby Bobby had his his favorite track. Right. We got that going to play a little..

"Very much in the college football playoff discussion, neck and neck with Oklahoma for a lot of the season. To now, go to a group of five team that we saw a couple of years ago even on Houston's best day when things are breaking right for them in that Tom Herman era was still a fringe contender. Best for college football's ultimate prize. They don't want to put a group of five team in the college football playoff. But that's the reality. I think they beat Oklahoma that year didn't they? I mean, and they still didn't get inaugarated lost some games down the stretch. But they put the others good season as you could probably have with the schedule. They had which was very difficult. They won games against high quality teams just perplexing to me. It kind of reminds me a couple of about five four or five years ago when Tommy Super Bowl left, Texas Tech to go to Cincinnati and thinking you left the big twelve. A group of five school. And that's the same thing. You're seeing right here. Overseers the second best hair to Mike Gundy in all of college football. He's leaving us at the kind of balding mullet. Sliding down there. It looks great. When it's wet. I just I'm curious to see why this happened what he thinks he'll be able to achieve at Houston that he could not achieve and West Virginia. Just doesn't make any sense. That's that's the biggest question that I can't really answer from coaching standpoint. You're taking yourself out of the situation where you have a real shot in the national championship. You're putting yourself in a group of five area where you have the best season ever. You might be able to strike once in a while my baby get lucky and get into the playoffs. But realistically, you're going from a spot where you have year in and year out opportunities to find your way into the playoff. You're going from that to Houston and also a well known college football coach if you wanted to do just leave West Virginia. Maybe there weren't a lot of great openings this year, which you felt like they would have been another elite power five opening the he would have been qualified to take in some fan base would have said, hey. With this guy's done of West Virginia. We'll take him over here. If you don't want him anymore, but instead of going to Houston, which you're not to disparage that job, but I just don't feel like it's the best job the data's holders qualified for. So there's some familiarity state the obvious he was an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach their two thousand eight to two thousand nine so he's not altogether unfamiliar with the area. We also know there's a number of other things that also also factor into this. I mean living in Houston as opposed to living where he has been in West Virginia. You don't know what his preference becomes in a lot of that wild and wonderful. It is true. I will say one of the interesting things me to be if we find out is what is by out is Houston. That'll tell us how long time he thinks. He's there that get you caught up on some of what is trending Golic and wingo on ESPN radio and ESPN two. My Golic junior. Bobby carpenter? I'm Jason Fitz. College Football Playoff Rankings: UCF jumps Ohio State, moves to No. 9 as top eight holds

"Lot of moving at least as far as college. Football's concern, you look at the latest rankings the first movement that we notice as UCF moving up a couple of spots to number nine, but the top eight all the same Mike Leach coach of number eight Washington state and earlier on ESPN radio was asked how much he discusses the rankings with his team. We don't talk about it, all, you know. I mean because of. Really had any impact on our season. I mean, everybody get ahead. Head kicked in. I forget the games we play. We played eleven games survey thought, we're going to get our grade or so and and we did. So then so if we listened to that stuff, then we wouldn't have worn the games we have. And so listen to it. Now, it's not gonna help us win there. You know? I mean, the best thing we can do is just just to have a great practice tomorrow. Is we're getting ready for Washington in Washington. Yeah. Washington's a great football team. And they're loaded up, and you know, they dumped people in the NFL every year. So we gotta go out there and play good Mike Leach coach of Washington state, which hold steady at number eight in the rankings, the four playoff teams are still the same Georgia, Oklahoma number five and six then there's that bunching of LSU Washington state and UCF at seven eight nine earlier on ESPN radio Jason Fitz and Mike Golic junior and dad, I'm a little surprised that Washington state didn't jump LSU for whatever that would mean again. But I was surprised at that LSU. I think they they played rights hammered rice. It was and Washington state put it at fifty five at halftime. I resort in Washington state has been looking really good. I thought they should've jumped up at least past LSU, and this one I think to that extent. Like, this is a little bit of the committee telling us that the larger body of work they've made up their mind. They have a good

Cowboys, Dez Bryant and Dallas discussed on SportsCenter AllNight

"Sportscenter allnight espn radio espn app get the feeling of being rewarded with gold status at shell fuel rewards program download the fuel rewards app joy to start saving five cents a gallon today welcome back sportscenter allnight on espn radio and espn app of john rider and the biggest story of friday was the cowboys releasing receiver dez bryant which will save dallas eight and a half million against the cap this season was the cowboys letting go brand is surprise move sarah spain and jason fitz on espn radio's spended fits this actually came as a surprise to me i knew that with the way that their salary cap looked and the number of free agents they've signed six free agents they franchise the guy they tendered a guy they just we're going to really struggle to find the space to have the cap it for dez at the production level that he had so it's kind of combination of production costs and then attitude and injuries as well but i thought that they would have them come into this meeting with jerry jones that we'd heard so much about today and sort of demand a pay cut or or some or he's gone they didn't give them that option it was just you're in and you're out i think that's a surprising to it because when we think cowboys love or hate jerry jones love or hate the organization you think about loyalty that's a piece that jerry jones is really prided himself on he stays connected to the guys that are more than just players they're part of the brand of the dallas cowboys now to the point of the salary cap i understand sort of some of the constraints but i'll always go back to something that tim brown said years ago in the nfl back in the days when salary cap was tougher to navigate than it is now tim always look.

Masters hype unlike any other, mainly because of Tiger Woods

"Welcome to spain and fits the podcast i don't know if you guys have heard but tiger woods is back at the master's that's all i can confirm he is there and he is playing i cannot confirm that he is back overall the pending on your definition of back you're wondering based on the amount of coverage that he got if he's back then the answer that is one hundred percent absolutely yes because this is basically the tiger woods show featuring the masters and not too shabby fits it spain in bits on espn radio the spn app and sirius xm channel eighty sarah spain and jason fitz with you the first round of play at the master's and tiger woods finished sort of up and down round he finished at one over so he's five shots off the current lead so not too bad but there's a lot of names between that five shots off and the leaders and to me it's this is going this first day is going to be over analyzed just like we do with every other tiger woods thing well of course because it's not good enough to tiger plays he also gives us something to talk about tiger which i thought he did a couple of times he tried to kill some people which was pretty interesting look plane that okay fine sys wayward shots that may or may not a crowd and for one of those particularly i looked at it and thought man i'm glad i'm not there because i just i'd be paying just not enough attention that that slight line between you saw the people scattered at one point and i realized that i would be the guy that turned around word everybody go right before the ball hit me in the head.
