Last night community activist Andrew Holmes was handing out flyers in the vicinity of the shooting, asking anyone with information to come forward. A person in another car was injured in that same shooting. The family of an unarmed 13 year old boy who was shot by a Chicago police officer in May has now seen videos of that encounter. The civilian office of police accountability released the videos to the family yesterday. Police say the team jumped out of a stolen Honda accord that was being pursued by officers and ran. They say they shot the team when he turned toward them. The boys attorneys say he was shot in the back, he was released from the hospital Wednesday, but it's not known if he will walk again. The Round Lake Beach man charged with killing his three children has pleaded not guilty. Jason Carroll's has accused of drowning 5 year old Bryant, a three year old Cassidy, and two year old Gideon inside his home on June 13th. Police say Carol's tried unsuccessfully to kill himself, then led them on a high-speed chase that ended when he crashed. They also say body cameras recorded him admitting to the murders. The cubs are being sued by the U.S. attorney's office for violating the Americans with disabilities act. The lawsuit alleges that the team did not provide proper access for people with disabilities while renovating Berkeley field between 2014 and 2019.
