"I will say it's interesting I'm watching in my rewatch this time around. I'm actually watching the entire series on blu ray and i always used to watch it on. Dvd i just love the feeling of the menus. I love watching the bonus features And i've had those dvd's since they all come out But i recently within the past eight months of the year. twenty twenty one I have bought breweries of them. All actually i think i might have started buying them very in the last year. But anyway that's sort of you know it doesn't matter But anyway yes so. I've noticed that. And why kind of noticed some of the green screen in season one on the dvd's of the green screen is very prominent in a number of scenes during season one You know we saw the clip seen in the white rabbit episode and in this scene we have the rope bridge one. They're going across super super obvious really not well done but another thing about the rope bridge. That was very interesting. Was if you actually looked at the railing. The rope that i guess would serve as the railing piece It was not very well covered up but the twine that was supposed to be that rope If you actually look closely at the twine. And i'm actually curious if it would be the same thing on streaming sites. I would assume they probably have access to the higher resolution copy for streaming but If you look at the twine in between it You can see a steel rope Or steal whatever you want to say it's just like a big steel rope thing And like i said it's not even very well covered up Which is kind of crazy. I feel like that is a massive blunder. But then again i guess given that it was two thousand five by the time that this had aired could have been two thousand four when they filmed it kinda doubt at this point because at that point it was picked up for the rest of the episodes after it's thirteen episodes original it's original by So yeah jasim five standard definition you know. Tv's weren't really that high resolution..

"Jasim show what if I told you there was a show where former NFL players open up the vault of stories they've never revealed before these stories come out on D. R. gridiron's new show on told stories on the B. R. apt hi Kirk we got a huge college football slate this weekend huge you talking about Miami it of or Miami Ohio at western Michigan right right yeah that's the goal of the game yeah no it's a big slate of games some top twenty five match ups I can't wait to just kind of just dive into because there's some that we get to October and all of a sudden now you start to see the separation right the early part of September early part of October you kind of get the five a no six in those and all the site as October goes along we start to finally get to see who's for real and and who's not for real so I guess to to help us figure out who's for real who's not from we're we're joined now by CBS college football analyst Rick Neuheisel in Rick I want to tell you this there are some games on the schedule right but I feel like the game that no one's really talking about another because we have the showdown between Texas so you an obvious Alabama's plan a and M. L. issue Florida will require isn't anyone talking about I will versus Penn state this week maybe because they sell I will play offense last week in the big house it was a tough it was a tough go for Brian's parents Kirk son who is the offense of coordinator there the manage all of one yard rushing right they managed to score three points in that gave up eight sacks and four turnovers ever that that it was a brilliant day but I think it's going to be a whale of a game and I think this is a this is an opportunity for Penn state to kinda yeah I heard you talking about all the teams that are sitting there in that undefeated fortune other year right are they ready to prove themselves are they gonna follow up into oblivion Penn state came into this year kind of under the radar you know McSorley was no longer there I I think this is a Penn state opportunity to really show themselves as maybe the number one competitor to Ohio state and the big ten to do so they're going to have to play a whale of a game I was city is a tough place to play I was defense I mean they're often struggle but Iowa's defense was up to the task last week holding Michigan ten points in under three hundred yards of offense so I think it's a great game I will usually wins this game and I just heard a stat that James Franklin since going to Penn state is one six on the road against ranked opponents so they got to prove something to get this done wow man that he's never beaten a ranked opponent on the road since he's been heck on the wrong day yeah that's crazy unbelievable but that that's the match of honestly that the people are talking about but the people are talking about some other key matchups especially when we look at what we think is probably not even another points for the score board to handle which is Oklahoma's off it's going against Texas this weekend how do you see this one plan now Rick well is that the odds makers are saying it's going to be the scoreboard going crazy I think they got the over under somewhere around seventy five which is by far away the most points for the weekend listen Texas is struggled mightily against the pass they're given up three hundred twenty five yards a game now they've been beaten up with the injuries and the back and we saw plate almost exclusively man coverage against Joe borough and they LSU team and that didn't work they did tiger score forty five that night so they're going to have to have some answers on the back end because Oklahoma's averaging over six hundred yards of offense every game so that to me if they do that then they give up J. one hurts on the ground Kaelin hurts has nearly five hundred yards rushing already this year I think he's twenty third in the country and averages eight point eight Terry so it's it's pick your poison for Todd Orlando and that Texas defense but the good news if you're attacked the span is they got Sam Ellinger who I think puts on a tape every week and finds a way to to lead Texas to if they don't win at least give up a heck of a fight Dellinger is is John Wayne of Texas football I mean he is thirty I think it's much see television I think Oklahoma ultimately wins the game but I think you're going to be really treated to some extra special quarterback play Rick Neuheisel CBS sports college football analyst joining the rich Eisen show Kirk Morrison here filling in for rich but you know Rick wonder things that and I want you to put your head coaching had all for a minute okay if I'm trying to devise a game plan three if I end up at all yeah dusted off formula big coach when you look at a guy like jaelen hurts you had a chance to really watch him extensively with with CBS over the last couple years but you're saying a different quarterback this year a guy who's been able to throw we know about his running ability but him as a passer this season how would you try to stop him in in this football game well he's he's much improved and I would I would go back even a year while Lincoln Riley certainly deserves some credit so too does Danny house who was the quarterbacks coach there Alabama last year while while Jaylen watched who were trying to buy low apply I think he got better you matter fact he was ready when they needed them and that S. you see championship game he goes in there goes five for five on third down to help the Georgia and get Alabama back in the playoffs but he's clearly a much more refined quarterback today than he was when he was twenty six into as the starter at Alabama where you know laying Kevin's offense had him looking deep and then coming down to a check done and then running this to me has much more in terms of scanning the field getting across things and when he's able to do that and you get guys like CD lamb running deep open patterns yeah it's been wildly dangerous I mean he's had over four hundred yard passing games he's run for as much as a hundred and seventy five with his own like it's a tough the top offense to corral which we've known about Lincoln Riley but in terms of the guy who can run between the tackles you know color Marie was a guy who could run outside but this guy can run down hill that makes it really really tough for a defense sticker figure out a way to stop will Rick where's almost what six weeks into a college football season yet Alabama finally will take on a ranked opponent skull as they take on Texas a and M. three thirty PM eastern time on CBS so Rick what will we find out about Alabama after playing Texas a and M. this weekend well I think this is an interesting contest now the odds makers say it seventeen points in Alabama's gonna roll and and now there's no reason to think that maybe that won't be the case but I think this game sets up pretty well for a and M. my Cocos defense is built in such a way that everybody's got a responsibility calls at triple responsibility meaning that almost all offences with this RPO stuff going on have basically ways to have basically ways to you know play option football if if you do this I'm going to do that right and so all of his defenders have a responsibility it's not just play the ball or play a gap which they got responsibilities some players tango by low is not a run threat they don't have Jaylen hurts as a back up so they're not really using his leg so I think they're gonna be able to corral some of these yards after a catch which have been such a monster weapon for the tide and I don't think they have seen the same pass rush right the they don't have some of the monsters that have been up front in the past for Alabama some some young guys in that defensive front so I think callin mom is going to have a little time to throw and that wasn't the case when they play comes and it wasn't the case when they played Auburn and I think for that reason I think a and I'm going to stay in this game and if they do that getting into the fourth quarter then I think that hundred thousand plus crowd can factor into this thing Rick Neuheisel CBS sports college football analyst joining the rich Eisen show in to me I think kind of the game of the week and one in which you know we get a chance to see Joe Berle again the quarterback of L. issue on the national stage going against a Florida team that you know last week they found a way to win they beat Auburn but when you look at right now the way that Ellis you was playing they seem like the biggest contender to beat Alabama and obviously if they play against Georgia as well but for right now the more more look at Ellis you they just look like a complete football team and am I right on that assessment Rick well it is the old adage if you can't beat them join them so they couldn't beat Alabama playing the way they were playing which is three yards and a cloud of dust way you know Leonard for net was beating his head on the wall right but at the end so they went and got this guy Joe Brady from the New Orleans Saints yes if you talk about a guy whose stock is gone straight through the roof its job this offense doesn't look anything close to what we've seen in the old LSU team service someone came down from Mars having been a college football and they they would land on the wrong planet that that not I like you we've got to go someplace else they just set a record for the most points ever scored in the first four weeks of an SEC season and burrow has been brilliant the question remains in what I think we're gonna find out a little bit more this weekend against Florida how they'll do against a great pass rush check that box for the Gators they are definitely that and if they get Zuniga back this week that'll even be better against great corners check that box with the Marco Wilson and CJ Henderson those guys are pretty good this is going to be a fascinating game the question is what kind of shape will for to be an ostensibly given the magnitude of their the physicality of the game last week against Auburn in this contest given the fact that Ellis you didn't have that kind of a monster game they they kind of one one sided game against Utah state so I think that you have to lean towards the Tigers their home but do not sleep on them all and I think he's always got a trick up its sleeve and I like this Kyle Trask if he's healthy I think he can play salty enough quarterback to keep the Gators in this thing all all four quarters you will more game I got through it to coach just because we're joined now by Rick Neuheisel CBS sports college football analyst but as a look throughout the slate obviously there's going to be some separation for some teams at some point you gotta figure who are going to be the contenders obviously in the SEC big ten in the big twelve but right now I'm I'm going to focus on the big ten because we've seen Ohio state their idol this week then I'm planing one you mention Penn state earlier you mentioned some of the other teams as well but whether Michigan at the end of the year picks it up but how do you see right now the the big ten kind of plan out well I think Penn state certainly a in a position to show that they're gonna have an opportunity to take on Ohio state and then maybe be successful the other team will be Wisconsin Wisconsin in five games at three shut up I don't care who your plan you shut people because you get on that side of the ball and they also have the best running back in the country and Jonathan Taylor who's having a monster season so if Wisconsin can continue to play they got a tough challenge this week against a really good run defense and in Michigan state but of Wisconsin holds serve this weekend and plays party and and beaten by a couple of touchdowns like Ohio state beat him up a week ago then you're gonna be set there go wait a minute Wisconsin at at issue here in a couple weeks is going to be one of those games organ to be sitting there going okay winners and it's it's gonna be a really fun game to watch I deep he can't say enough about what's going on in camp Randall given that three shutouts in.

I think she's an astonishing perform because she can sing every genre of music and the other my other favorite woman singer you can say the same thing about and that's linda ronstadt <hes> yeah that's yeah that's right. You know she's i love. It can be a collective within what they do. See jasim pinot the lady gaga show that show at the but not yet got to get tickets. You gotta half a dozen more shots at the next. I've got i've got to try and how susie city this ho ho man yeah mazing yeah. You nailed her exactly. I mean it's just like holy mackerel. What a performer. What s issued a little bit about your health because a few months ago able you've been posted as something that somebody of your friends had had been aware of and you posted not say anything publicly but i was diagnosed with prostate cancer some months ago i did radiation therapy and today found my p._s._a. Wants up twelve is now zero point one. You don't have to know much about <hes>. The condition to no twelve is not good. No point one is great so see right on the cancer has basically been eradicated happy day in our household early detection is key for all and what was that like to face this and what was about wants yeah they'd been monitoring me because i had a very infinitesimal amount of it <hes> the the <hes> prostate cancer but it wasn't to the the point where they would have thought where they made sense to do any treatment right then it started to get really aggressive and it got aggressive aggressive really fast very quickly and so i was faced with two alternatives and operation or do the radiation i chose the radiation and you know you everybody who has been diagnosed with cancer. You know they have the same feeling it's it's daunting hunting and and they they told me my chances of fixing it were very very high because of <hes> we'd been monitoring it and it wasn't way far in extreme stages this is about moderate was mater but still it was susan issue and so i went through the radiation and for the most part came out without i didn't have too many side effects from it some but but <hes> you get hot flashes from this shot they give you and so now every woman. I know we joke about it. I you know like i say you. The men can never really understand what you go through and i'll be out to dinner with friends of ours and women take out her fan. I'll say can i borrow that for a second bells. Yano pas tailpipe so it was it was it was very difficult. <hes> made more difficult because unfortunately cancer has <hes> been a big part of our uh-huh our lives and our family for a while to that point been con- even had been dealing with her. My wife had stage four breast cancer. That was <hes> a a diagnosed in two thousand four. I believe and <hes> state for breast cancer. You know that's pretty serious and it was ause but amazingly. She did chemo and she this amazing drug called her septum. If you have a certain type of blood type which she did this is he's like almost like a miracle drug and his if as kaptur alive but along the way she had the she had a recurrence of brain had had to go to brain surgery radiation in her head then she had a recurrence about a year and a half ago two years ago. She got through past that so it's pretty extraordinary so we've we've had a long kind of ordeal with that. You have to be a caregiver for her that i would expect changes the way you look at everything right. When you deal with that it does yeah no. That's absolutely true you you. It places a lot of responsibility on you know that i always i kind of have my assist jokes with me about this a little bit. I think it's safe to say that i lead until i married connie carefree life relationship and married. We've been married since one thousand nine hundred and yeah and my sister said to me. She said well you had to grow up to get married but now you really have to grow up and that's you know that's in a sense what it's all about. It's funny what you remember in this world but i remember you you. You were on the air when i'm talking in. Somebody said forget who you were paired with. New saddam happily married <hes>. What about you and you said you on single but i'm happy i'm happily yeah. I just remember that myself. In that position carefree life exactly they gotta grow up sometime eventually eventually eventually. It catches up with you. You have to grow up. It's not all but we've been an anti course in the middle of all that my wife is to return really proud <hes> and i played i did have a big role in this as well as did a number of other people hearner oncologist dr maryanne ellison <hes> <hes> found that the caring place and they're it yeah it's a wonderful spot for helping people with non medical parts of cancer that you can you get help with his turned around helped many lives and i mean we've received notes calls from people and it fills our hearts with with joy to know that we did that and so that was kind of an offshoot of it that was pretty remarkable and now it's under the care of the childhood cancer ryo organization they they <hes> it's one of their programs and it was great because we're we fought the the battle and kept it open for about three or four years and it was getting harder and harder you know day have a much bigger fundraising apparatus and they're great organization organization solves three story about connie joe frazier something oh yeah oh yeah oh gosh solo too yeah yeah. It's it's weird accounting. I have all these same connections of people that we knew but not around the same time like she knew raymond seaney <hes> when she was zhong because connie was performed for over thirty eight year yours and raymond seniors to come to her chose all the time and she knew ray and play the racket ball with him and of course i knew raybird well <hes> you know at the time even and saw joe frazier the county was doing a benefit in atlantic city and joe frazier as you recall was a singer had joe frazier in the knockouts half yeah and so light beer commercial miller like yeah yeah so connie was singing and she came she they were going to go on next and she came down some stairs from addressing of frazier nice guys over here. She tripped here. He'll caught on the the stair there. She had one of those combs with her. You know the half russian half tip a fine point geez your hair with she goes tumbling forward and stabs joe frazier in the stomach and he goes down to one knee it and others these immortal words stab me is also seen in chicago but it's the cell block tango exactly as part of that song and so <hes> it was intriguing and the irony. Is that <hes> you know later life. Joe frazier was <hes>. You know a few years before he died. I ended up doing a lot of events with joe frazier. I could never bring myself to tell them the story because i didn't know if you'd see the humor in it forgot about and i kept telling her i said i said you know i'm gonna go see joe. I said you stay here. I.

So in case, you were wondering labor has not somehow become the anti Brexit party-bus week on the same day that MRs may was forced to concede the idea of a possible delays of Brexit. The government also quietly released a paper had reluctantly been forced to publish about its own internal calculations on the likely downsides of a no deal departure from the EU something still refuses to rule out. It was not pretty reading it said, most businesses and members of the public were unprepared for the possible consequences such as a likely rise in food prices extra customs costs. Two firms of around fifteen billion dollars a year and the imposition of tariffs on goods like cars and chemicals, which brings me to another quick thought. It's the idea that the Brexit is having the ends lost the intellectual arguments since the referendum in the sense that they have failed to persuade remain as as they surely needed to that leaving the EU was a smart idea these days, indeed, you rarely hear Brexit is making the case for how great a post EU Britain will be but rather have downgraded their arguments opiates when important one that it's now about obeying the will of the people and honoring the votes of twenty sixteen not that the UK will be better off for me, though. The most important lesson of the week came as it should of course, from my fellow citizens it happened as I cycle to parliaments one morning listening twin national phone in programme on one of the BBC's domestic radio stations the subjects. Yes. You guessed it a second referendum. From all over the country people called in brimming with passion anger fear, frustration and just about every other human state of mind apart from happiness one voter threatened. What he called absolute carnage with a March of millions on parliament's if there was another referendum while another equally passionate caller. The timer remain warned of Brexit causing a lost generation insisting there must be another vote. Now, the consequences were clearer and an entire hour. Only. One caller confessed to having changed his mind about the way he'd voted in two thousand sixteen. It was all a reminder that not only is Brexit as uncertain as ever, but it is if anything more divisive than ever to robots, and that's it from the world this week for now if you have any thoughts on what we've done what you'd like us to do. And all your everybody is because it's just not the same the only similarity in radio and stand up is that there's a microphone not same skill set. It all and so I'm way better radio. And so we do the show, and then we hung out for a little bit afterward a little bit. Yeah. And then by the time it was over took her back. So what did she say afterwards after the whole night? What does she had a good time is fine. We had a good time. Nothing. So does she have a future? Layover? I don't know. We didn't talk about her work plans future. No. But I don't think that we won't. It's just weird part of me and my expectations. Are she lives in another state? You know, that's difficult. But it's also awesome. Sure is she willing to move. He now that's not a conversation. Flight attendants like they can live wherever exactly they can. They just have to get to their hub. And in the end, we had a good time. The Opry performance went off pretty well. And she thought I was cool much cooler. I probably am do you wanna say real eight. Yeah. But somewhere near the Opry. It was crazy have much time Cracker Barrel. No. Aubrey girl national balances. "But now we look at it like, but warriors would destroy them. And now we're going back to the soul crushing maybe not so crushing, but we're going the same status quo of the warriors being this dominant juggernaut of team and now still favorites. What favorites even more now to win the NBA finals for third time to three peat for the first time since shacking Kobe did it in two thousand two one thousand two. Yes. That's right. Be the lots of three the yes. Because the Spurs win to the finals Jasim three in four. They went back and lost the pistons. Yes, I'm right? Because Kobe only one that three Pete. And then he went on to win the two championships in twenty nine in two hundred nine two thousand nine twenty ten. Yes. That three peop- from shocking. Coley was the last time that there was a three peat. So it's been almost twenty years about about two decades since we've seen a three peat. We've seen the heat go back back with Braun thous the closest we seen three peat. They went back to the files lost. So we've seen close time selling the finals little Bronstein his final streak is he gonna continue it probably not because he's on the west against the warriors. But. I can see the nuggets as a serious like I I would love to see them the Western Conference finals words, I love to see that series. Beazer to savers is one seed if it ended today. But again, this is all theory based and we'll see how we'll see how the rest of the season goes out for both nuggets in the warriors. I think we all know how the warriors will end the season pretty at least at least second. I'm guessing that's a fair assumption. I'm going to lease second. Just to be saved. Onsite guaranteed. Firs? I mean, if I'm wrong, you know. But anyways, I do have to say the fact that the nuggets took a laws. I mean, fifty one points on the first quarter. My goodness. But they need abounds back. But we abound back from short break when we get back. We'll take the round of the rest of the NBA that's happened last twenty four hours each game in how he's team's doing. And we'll look even a little we'll get we'll look at the tire conference rankings the conference standings, excuse me. And we write back right after.
