"They take that utopic turn it into twenty one. They take Brandon Clark who fits perfectly. I think in theory besides Jaren Jackson junior. And now you've got a young core of JAMA rant Jaren Jackson junior and Brandon Clark to build around I can just tell you from watching on social media, and text messages from my friends. People in Memphis that I think people around the league you think that Memphis knocked it out of the park tonight. And it's been a long time since you could say that about the grizzlies the lone exception being when they took Jaren Jackson, fourth last year, keep in mind, this is the same franchise that in two thousand nine after Blake Griffin was taken decided to, because she to beat when James harden, Steph curry or on the board. This franchise, basically from picking Mike Conley all the way up into when it picked Jaren Jackson junior just consistently missed in the first round. I think they got last year, right? I think this year, right? I do too. I had Brennan clocks top twelve prospect in the draft, the reason why he slipped was of his age on, not a good perimeter shooter, and that's about it because high level says I'm really good defender. He's sized up too short for his position. Not a great wing span for his position. But I'm with, like, I'm glad that I think I have gone on radio to draft absolutely. Destroyed the grizzlies before it won't be like that tomorrow. They got John rant Brennan car. I'm happy. I think most people are this was never a three person draft. We spoke often about this on our HQ draft show into our listeners of the podcast and knows who were able to tune in watch us to our sincere. Thanks. We had a we had a lot of fun on that show all night, long, evaluating picks grading picks and poke fun at each other and just having a good time, but I have just railed against the idea that this isn't a three person draft. No draft in the history of NBA drafts ever gonna three person draft. You always have many more players in that, that become relevant starters, all-stars hall of famers. What have you? I think that the hawks in the pelicans prove that at, at the very least by having some movement there at four hundred goes to the hawks. I think that's a nice pick right behind RG Barrett, who goes to the Knicks at three in what I wanted to happening was one through seven in this draft shook out the way that just about everyone thought, as you had garland five Cleveland Culver, six to Minnesota. Kobe. Seven to Chicago. There might have been a little bit of jumbling between four and seven over on terms of what players went where but I I like a hundred four and and overall. If you told me that two of hunter, garland Culver in white to those four Wanda being better than two of the three of Zion joh-, an archway GPS. I, I don't think that's implausible. If you go back and look at the history of all MBA drafts, the second and third beckon, even obviously, sometimes the I it's just no sure thing. So just keep that in mind because you're not gonna hear nearly as much hyper talk with hunter, garland, Colver, or white or even Jackson Hayes, eight who I really, really liked, but the potentials there, they could wind up being the big stars people had different opinions on Garlan and white. I like garland, you like Koby. Why not you and I? But people, people would argue over de'andre Andre hunter jerick Culver, but basically, as you point out everybody had. Zaim Williamson John Moran RJ bear Deandra hundred. Darius garland Jarrett, Culver Kobe, white going one through seven in some order, and that is exactly what happened..

"Are you ready for my prediction? Okay. I'm going to predict without looking guy that we have the same first and second team all rookie. Ooh, I'm gonna predict we are ten for TAC toe. And that they are maybe I'll change my picks up the wrong, and I'll just such a right? Not only that that we have the same first team and sorry. Well, let's see run through. We'll give me your go. Give me I mean. Okay. Luca danni. It's trae young down your eight. Jaren Jackson junior Mitchell Robinson. My prediction is incorrect. How okay my first team is. Well, Luca trae Eytan. Jaren Jackson junior my fifth is Shay gilders Alexander. I thought I went back and forth on him and Robinson with Robinson in the end. I have no problem with that on a permanent basis. Mitchell Robinson has been a first team all rookie level player. Right. I know he has played a ton of minute. Right. So I and to me shape, the minute's difference in the fact that he's doing this as a star on a winning team. And he's been really good and his surge. I think he's like shooting thirty eight percent of. Yeah. Three now. Like, he's had a really strong finishing cake. He's already a good defensive player. He's been really really good. That was enough to get that spot over to me it came to. I didn't really consider. I love Robinson. He was an absolute lock for an all rights, but I didn't really consider him because I just thought shea and Bagley I went back and forth to in all three of them on the plan. This Roberts had done enough. I don't think any of those choices need justification perhaps though, it's the first female rookie spot. Right. And perhaps one of the only I mean people have already forgotten about Jaren Jackson junior. I put him third rookie of the year. Ballot. Like, I think they'd played a few more games. Like definitely what had him third. I think if you had played a full season. I would add him second possible. He was really really good. He's really this working classes loaded like usually that. Usually it's hard to come up with five guys. And the second team is a train wreck actually came up with three teams. No, I say, I have a whole thirteen. I never have snubbed all this. I was going through it today. Like, this working class is really good. Okay. So a gimme. Your second team all rookie. And now, I bet I bet we're going to have the same ten guys. But we've just flip flopped. But give me see. Maybe I'll maybe I'll be wrong again, Marvin Bagley count Sexton shea Gill Alexander Kevin herder and legislation. We do not have to. Rogue picks. My second team is Marvin Bagley who I considered strong for right and call Collins Sexton who I gave a look for first team, but doesn't deserve. Right. Landry shamet. Right. Because he shooting forty percent from three and has been starting on a winning team in a key bench player on another winning team..

"His head some in that didn't agree with him about that situation ever on hated him in the locker room by the end of the year. But he's back in totally comfortable shooting threes in the rotation now in Memphis, it's wild. I mean because he I think he took like two threes after the all star break last year. And then he's taken two or more threes into games and has six total already this season playing like about fifteen minutes a game in the games. He's played Sahgal. Jaren Jackson now had shown some flashes. But also, I do some concerns at least about whether it's being used the best way could be offensively right now. Now, that's not necessarily. Say that they are doing things wrong because he's a very young big. And we've seen before that coaches want to help these guys become tougher on the interior. For example, Karl towns at Kentucky, basically didn't take any threes at all even though he came in with that great perimeter skill set that really helped him become a better post player and most of Jackson's offense has been around the rim so far. It's very interesting that he is much more left-handed, even as a right handed player loves to get back to his left handed hook, whether he's either lowering his shoulder to get to that very often goes to spin movies, not really quick enough to face up and beat his man just straight in one direction, but he can spend back most often to that left hand same thing in the post. He's done a decent job of getting post position. And then he can get to that lefty hook against small players. He's not really as good against guys decides. Which is fine you if he turned nineteen it was pretty recently like he was one of the youngest players in the draft. So any Scott like a pretty? Recent skill level in film knees, not powering up through guys his size. He's not really strong enough to do that yet. But use able to draw a decent number of fouls when he gets smaller guys on him. And he's posting upright at the chargers. That's looked pretty good hasn't really done much on the offense of glossies played most of his time at the four though with gazelle injured. He played a little bit more at the five and Ivan Ravitz getting some backup center minutes as well. But the thing that I'm not as happy about is. He's really not being used for three pointers like he's not they are not it's not really doesn't seem to be part of the scheme there. I would say if you noticed that in watching grizzlies games, it's concern for me as well, especially because his ability to take and make those shots is arguably his single biggest competitive advantage at the NBA level a especially you and I both feel that his long game. His endgame here is as a centre. I don't think he's going to be an extremely productive post player, and you don't need him to be if he can shoot. Well, if he can generate that's basically, I mean, watch the bucks a little bit and the difference in having a center who a capable shooter. Even if he doesn't have to live out there. It can make life so much easier on everybody else in the court and part of that is making sure that the other team respects that shot by giving them the opportunity to take..

"Yeah, and I wanted to bring up the this game because we're talking about we've been watching the rookies right? The NBA rookies performing well Jaren Jackson junior power forward. He he had pretty good game nineteen minutes against the rockets from Houston. Fifteen points, three assists three rebounds, although he did have six personal fouls in nineteen minutes. Which is pretty high. But yeah, six for six shooting one for one from beyond the arc fifteen points. Again, three assists three rounds. I was pretty high on him coming into the draft. How how do you feel about Jaren Jackson junior. I think he has potential no doubt about it, but I also think it's like he's a solid player, not like the best player on the team type of thing, but I think he definitely can contribute. They'll need him to on that grizzlies team that roster's looking pretty bare at the moment. You got Mike calmly, and then. There's definitely some slack be picked up there on that roster. So Jaren Jackson, junior, a nice, I guess, star at least on the offensive end. He'll have to work on limiting those fells. Of course yesterday we also saw Toronto and Utah play Utah. Jazz, get the win one. Oh, five to ninety over the raptors but coil entered eighteen minutes seventeen points. Five rebounds almost pretty good. Yes, six to twelve from the field. One of two from beyond the arc, but. Nice defender than anything else, though. Yeah, yeah, nice. Start for for mister Leonard in his new raptors uniform. I know we talked about that a little bit yesterday him being on the raptors. Do you think we're going to see a motivated Leonard, or do you think we're his press conference when he was wearing the Tronto? Raptors jersey didn't seem very motivated Diddy. He's talking a lot like this and not really caring, like it was jetlagged almost. I feel like he's a, he's a professional despite the drama with the Spurs. I think he's going to have a great season, but I do wonder in the back of my mind that you know, how will he handled the new team looking ahead to his free agency and all that. So yeah, but it's again the NBA so weird to me like it's so like anything can happen anytime in the in when it comes to free agencies and traits and stuff like that. Yeah, because it's different from football where you'll have to learn a skiing for like three weeks and then you you're barely ready seen as you go to a team, you're ready to go. Yeah. On on indications, everything that people say, at least in the media's co wise going to end up in LA most likely with the Lakers possibly the clippers. There has been rumors that he doesn't necessarily want to play with LeBron. Do you see Kawai heading out west. Depends the other actors do with him this season, and then we'll find out it's going to be how they performed with him. If they're contenders and they're in the finals, he might stay. But if they don't make it far in the playoffs, then no. Up, then I see him. I seem packed his bags LA. Definitely. Yeah. Yeah, that's all I got for the NBA preseason this morning. All right, or I will let say this with this preseason happening. Do you see anything different with your postseason predictions from the other day? No, absolutely. Not until like a major injury happens or some. I don't know something off the wall happens then. No, absolutely. Not NBA game where talent kind of rises more. I think in in that sport then and other sports were maybe coaching and other factors play bigger role. But I mean if the players are healthy, if the players on the court. You know the, the better team wins like ninety nine percent of the time in my opinion. So my predictions will not change unless something out of the ordinary happens or a major injury occurs. Okay. Looks like we'll be looking out for major occurrences one on a lifetime. Have things. I'll be excited for that, but anything else you wanna talk about in terms of basketball? No, I we're pretty good there. All right. We're gonna take another short break. When we get back, we'll talk about anything else,.

"You know, he's been working out two three times per day. Then playing tons of pickup all around the country. He's really working on is three point shot. He wants to get even more consistent with that. He's a guy that you know, even though he just got his payday from the thunder, he's still very hungry. He feels like the thunder because they didn't make any big additions really because they have the same team just coming back. He has to make internal development and get better for this team to go to that next level. And I like the fact that he understands that and it's putting in the work to make that happen. So I I like all these guys Ilyasova is other guy that I'm really high on. I think grace stretch for I. It's unfortunate fairly, couldn't bring him back because I think he was such a great fit for them because they needed that spacing and shooting. But I, I do like these five guys. I think you I out about grant a little bit higher product closer to twenty three, twenty four. I may have had Jaren Jackson junior a little bit higher, but I know we're being very conservative on rookies. We've said this on each podcast looming on church was number. Thirty. We've been very conservative with the rookie is because we don't want to overrate them to start their career. So I understand why he's that low but Jaren Jackson, junior and dry. Jeremy grant probably would have been higher for me, but I understand the list. I understand your reasoning. Can you get to the next five now who who do you have going twenty five or twenty one. Yeah, perfect. Twenty-five Pasco Siaka from the raptors he is. He does have. He did have a bench Roper dominant last year, but considering how about has looked through stretches for Toronto, wouldn't surprise me at all to take over the starting job next season. His numbers are. I mean his numbers anything. Anything crazy averaged seven points and four and a half boards to assist per game. But his athleticism, the way he used is so impactful. He's a really, really quick player last year. He he had like an ongoing joke in the media with with D'amoto Roseanne where where he would say he was the fastest player on the team and damore would say, you guys believe him. That's crazy, no way. But I mean, see how come is. That I thought that he's six nine, but you can also jump out of the gym. He's a crazy athlete. Yeah, and he finds ways to make a make an impact for his team. So I'm really, really high on him. I think he's gonna have a great third season twenty four. I had a a future hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki from the Mavs. He only for quote unquote only twelve point at six boards last year, but he shot forty-one percent from three which is the fourth best rate of his career. Besides the raw stats, he has the advanced that's really liked them. For example, as a spot of shooter, he ranked ninety second percentile scoring. One point, two one points or possession on spot up science, which is really, really, really high. It was the fourth best Mark among players with at least one hundred and fifty such low eggs, and it wasn't despite shooting either as opposed to player he produced zero point nine eight points per possession. And that was a six best rate among players with at least one hundred fifty posts up some of the year. And that was a better Mark actually than acne Davis. Joel Embiid, which is just crazy considering it's. Yeah, it's a year twenty one a Derg. So. So he's still awesome..

"They drafted Jaren Jackson, junior and Giovan Carter they signed Kyle Anderson to the full mid level for four years. They signed on re Caspi. They traded for Garrett temple, giving up Deontay Davis, Ben Makamure, and a second round. Pick eventual second round pick. They also did the drill Martin Johnson deal, and then they lost Tehreek the aforementioned two players to the kings Andro Martin. And so I don't think we talked about it enough at the time, but one of the big decisions that was made during the draft was Memphis, drafting journ, Jackson junior for trae, young and Jackson looked substantially better than trae young overall in summer league. I mean, y'all, especially in the that stretch when they were both in Utah. Jackson was great and young was awful, but I'm still going to overall, I'm gonna stand by where I was, and Jerry Jackson can help the grizzlies more right now. I don't think that matters as much as the long term. You don't draft a guy for the first year or two, especially for a playoff fringe team, not at title contender, anything silly, but we. You wouldn't. Not exactly been focused on the long-term these last few years. Right. So I'm not saying it's catastrophic. I think I had those players right after each other. I think it had trae young three and had Jaren Jackson four or anything like that. But I do think we should talk a little bit about that decision because it was important when it was made. Yeah. I think part of the reason that that happened that they never even considered trae young who granted him going five was considered to be higher than most people would ahead of its like Lanta head higher on their board. But if the organic consider young, I mean, and this is what trae young could be a total bust. Right? Like we could sound like complete idiots. You know, I had him number two shirt that's just about anyone else head him. So I think that needs speak knowledge and you could also needs to be acknowledged that for me, like Jackson among the players who are left at that point, he was probably the second best guy left. I would say my board and they were never going to consider young because they have Mike Conley. Now you could say they have Markelle soul. So why would they pick Jackson? But Jackson in theory and the way he at least was willing to take shots at any of that. One ridiculous eight out of thirteen game in Utah. He'll looks like he can play the four. He's pretty mobile as well. So maybe you're with Markelle soul in place. You're not like going over the top of him and Conley is probably better than soul at this point in time if he's healthy still, I, I don't think that what position they had Conley or so. I mean, those guys have got a year or two left as high low players. If that you don't go solar energy released, took a big step back last year Conley miss most of the year due to injury. However, it doesn't really seem like a good idea based on that to not draft guide a position because you have a Mike Conley who you know, frankly should probably be traded here pretty soon, but they're not going to do that. Another big part of their off-season was retaining j. b. Bickerstaff I think Bickerstaff is possibly the worst coach in the league. I don't think he did anything to deserve to stick around other than be cheap and be a company man while the tank their asses off last year. He also had a miserable twenty fifteen sixteen in Houston. I thought so retaining him basically because he's. Cheap doesn't really seem like a great idea to me..

"Exact opposite of that struggle to stay in the league tree anymore upside i feel like then wendel carter or jaren jackson but he has a ceiling there that you know i mean we got to throw in steph curry every since we talk about him i think it's a little excessive but he's six one he sees the floor really was no and he obviously can score really well i don't know saying if it was a window card jaren i think hawks fans will be like one of we just done but it's not personality i think more personality than those guys more marketability but also play i mean i i don't know the college game but watching watching what he does out there in in the highlights he looks like a very good player and the acid obviously played a part i mean traverse like knows hey we're not that good we need to get better so let's get a first round pick next year in the mavs at could be a juicy six seven eight nine ten pick could not i mean that could take through five yeah through five the next two years and then it goes down three two one the next falling two years and the hawks drafted three guys that can shoot the ball in trae young kevin herder and omari spelman in the first round so they're ready to check yeah yeah and you're right there's no real it's sort of a nice it would've worked while i think with don churches well but there's no pressure really on the hawks are not expected to be like oh you got to be in the playoffs now right now no you're still young you got call ins you've got prince now you've got young and now you're probably getting rid of shooter so you're gonna be worse because glazes the same position if they can who is going to take dennis schroder contrast fifteen million or something three years i think forty five million the contract itself isn't bad it's just is there a huge market was anyone surprise at the kings ultimately passed on on taking donshik at number two and instead go with begley i think it's a pricing because bodies the guy making the pick the people for years since he took over as a european body's gonna draft you and this is the best european prospect we've ever seen any finally doesn't do it but i think there was a lot of buzz about bagley wine to be in sacramento and how that was important and he's obviously a very good player people compare them to you know and amari stoudamire sorta type and you know mari kind of became a punchline towards the end of his career but at the beginning of his career was steve nash like he was incredible he got on the floor so fast and there's a lot of that in bagley that guy is skinny though yeah that guy's looking like six foot ten g skeets goodness trae young tiny marvin bagley skinny because he's gonna have to hit the weight room get that i don't know what do they eat in sacramento they have a lot of cows out there get them up barker i thought you would go crazy and draft michael porter jr because he was because he's just crazy i mean there's all that talk i think it's astonishing dropped all the way to fourteen for a guy last year was pegged as the number one pick i know there's friend and roy syndrome and a little bit there i think roy roy andrews for checked it to go like maybe i and then the injuries knocked him down a few pegs but he can v i think yes this is strange the information about his health was being circulated the tweets were coming out during the draft that teams in the lottery some teams in the lottery gut that recent medical information it's just odd that not all the teams have all the same information great when it shouldn't just be sort of distributed to everybody found that but i think it's a great move for the nuggets how why the heck do you not get him or take him at fourteen and zach lowe said it was they didn't expect them to be there so they kind of just picked him in this is a team that missed the plan by one game last year if they had a guy who who knows how his career plays out but if he's able to stay mostly healthy and he becomes anything what people thought he was going to be when he was a high school that's a huge get at.

"I probably the second best player in his drafted jaren jackson out of michigan state buca dodgers to me is third it's not a big gap i if anything can take credit card or put it between pulpit guy i'm good with either man you take you take a six with a guy that can play onetwothree positions or you can take a six eleven seven foot guy who completed three to four and a five jaren and jaren jackson i'm good either way i think we'll look back at this draft three to five years from now i'll make a prediction right now this one and the best player in this job is going to be jaren jackson because he's only scratching the surface of how good he's going to be underrated defender as the ability to step out and make shots not afraid to get on the block and scoring the block even though the nba does not seem to be a back to the basket league anymore but he has the ability to do so and his toughness that's that's a future leader that you're getting a guy that not only would be a potential face your franchise but it's going to be a leader for you on and off the court that's how much faith i haven't jaren jackson and i think i'd be stunned if he gets past atlanta at number three and if it can you imagine memphis number four he's still on the board what are they gonna do openly said that i don't wanna go them not working out for that team that'll be interesting i think they're going to be more trades tomorrow night then we've seen in recent history and it it may start with the mavs at five moving up to get luca because i know the perfect they they really really like him even on the lakers they got three second round picks they could possibly move up clippers have twelve and thirteen meaning the number twelve and number thirteen years a lot of movement that could happen and the x factor again to me is a spurs fan coli leonard good luck to them with the san antonio spurs san antonio you're wanting to move him right draft your player right the clippers was seem to be the obvious choice at twelve and thirteen he said he wanted to go to la now we know he meant the lakers san antonio you said you wanted to go to los angeles the clippers play in los angeles don't play semantics they're not they don't care about pleasing kawhi there about please write themselves that's it and that's the x factor in this whole thing but i do believe that that is one the biggest thing to keep an eye on is what did the spurs do with kawhi leonard especially teams and those top ten twelve picks tom penn espn nba front office inside when he's on golic and wingo on wednesday he said yeah they're not letting go to the lakers from san antonio dismissed the lakers right away because i just do not foresee any circumstance where pop in our c send kawhi to the lakers to just have him come in and purple and gold right next five years yeah it may not happen as a trade but after next season they won't be able to stop them if they don't trade him to get something in return nba draft coverage on espn radio and espn the first pick starts at eight o'clock eastern time that is five o'clock on the west coast the some of the.

"The whole boomer bust thing that you don't wanna be the gm that passes on pick your star you don't wanna be the gm that passes on jaren jackson right because what happens if jaren jackson becomes these superstar what if he's the next lebron heidi because that's the wool conversation around the giants with what they did when they took saquon barkley right they need a quarterback they took barclay i love barkley but what if one of those other quarterbacks is the next tom brady and then they're regretting that decision for the next ten years even if they get amazing production out of sake one if one of those other guys becomes these star the guy then you're the bust you made the mistake especially magnified in new york where the pick after the giants went to the judge and it was a quarter what about you know they've created that that discussion of forever near the nba circles are going to work the same there was a one western conference assistant gm the quote is this draft is going to change the way the game is played over the next eight to ten years because the way to beat beat teams apply small and defensively switch everything is to have big skilled guys and that's what this draft is fulham but he also said that the last year you screw your screw up levels that way was pretty low among the first five or six pay picks this year it's very high i'll go back to donncha somebody that the i don't understand why we're having this discussion i mean think about jonathan give oni was on sportscenter he has espn nba draft analyst and he's all in listened to what he has to say about onto i really am confused by the fact that you know came they're nitpicking him to this degree and so i really think that people are over thinking the case of luca danni okay he's not here working out for people but i mean he's in the acp right now he's about to win another championship this guy was your early mvp he was early regular season mvp he was was a rising star he won the european championship bronze rog it's september you know he's doing the things that you wanna player to do which is win games for you i know that the track record of european players in the top three isn't great but we haven't seen a player like luca danni it's enter the draft ever doing inter fifteen years and everybody is in close so i really think that luke dodges the guy that you know if he slides out of the top three people are going to look back five years from now and say what an a heck where those teams doing and that's stunning to me when you think about i've seen mocks today that happened at five or six and not knock today that hadn't been five really and so then i'm looking at it thinking how i mean how is it that we can especially when you talk about mock jackson i know mock drafts are what they are right but guys studied this they don't just put out mocks at this point for the nfl drafts went from the mocks first of all jonathan he was like shocked that people are over thinking this hi nice to meet you we i think everything but how do you have eighty four mock drafts you know no but i just i think that but he also puts stock into this whole boomer bust thing like if you don't take dante in the top three what are you thinking i won't who had them going at five or six off to find it during the break i'll see if i can find google google put that in the google and globality that's straight talk brought to you by straight talk wireless nationwide coverage on america's largest most dependable four g l t e networks if you're.

"He would have been he would have been big difference maker i don't think he would have done much better than that then carter there in the middle but but now i he would have changed is oh he gave jaren jackson seven minutes in the first half nick ward eleven minutes in the first half and tillman had eight nine minutes and ben carter had ten minutes in the first half secondhalf where everybody went awry jaren jackson had eight eight minutes nick ward had five minutes tillman had thirteen and carter had thirteen so you can see he felt his and i don't think it was just i don't think i know the ultimate decision was is old but i'm sure the coaching staff his his his assistance had to tell him something what was going on or maybe again that allow those decisions came at halftime it was a close and it was a close game at half maybe thought by making those adjustments in the second half and might give them the advantage hey we're not moving the ball very well out of the high post maybe put carter there will help again he was wrong but maybe that's maybe that was his thinking in way if he is that if the wins that game he's genius oh he's a genius he putting this guy he's partly he right into the game what did she and then and then you never see him again because he goes to ward and and jackson the next the next week because he he barristers to superstars and guess what we will never see carter again until next year but it didn't he didn't pull it off so now everybody's second guessing so now he's the idiot who does right served to keep his job anymore what are they thinking these lands lansing giving this guy a job anymore just saying you gotta think about it i mean hey there's not looking he's a great coach and he's done he's done it many many years and this is the time of year but as i've talked to a few of michigan state friends and they've all told me and they've been real about it look it's not because you know this and that and this and that because we lost and everything to the sweet sixteen and we aren't that what they're mad about that certainly makes it that certainly makes it that much tougher to stomach again i i saw.

"Really important and i picked the second most important factor in the game his jaren jackson uh for michigan state ceasing to waste fouls i mean he way he he he waste fouls like most of us uh lee pennies a you know in the uh in the tray at the gas station you know he just he they are not too far not precious enough for such a great defender and he wastes a lot of playing time because of the wasting of fouls he has a problem where if he is on the perimeter he's got great feet he can really move but he has he hasn't instincts that went someone starts to drive the basketball toward him he he he h he feels like he has to reach out and stopping and he like i said he spends a one two three files a game on that and he missed a lot of that wisconsin game in need of him because when he was in there he was really helping out well unease have half he was terrific and when he was out uh they have had a great you know he had a great time scoring showing eat they miss them a lot it's one of the reasons the game was so close for me you know if you can see jaren jackson play north of somewhere between twenty and twenty eight minutes then i think michigan state's in great shape done enough to make the nc aa tournament and if not what are they need to do to defeat purdue i don't think they have uh you know i i can't say definitively not you know i wrote about nebraska today and nebraska had a great year rats had a great year uh but they have had a very bad luck to your guest schedule didn't give them any breaks the leak scheduled there deal there four teams in the big ten michigan michigan state ohio state for through there were all walks to make the.
