"Quite fully understood what you're supposed to use it for i. It is usually the main use. I know for today is to stabilize whipped egg whites and then it can also stop sugar from crystallizing but stiff peaks stiff pinks and so like the. It's one of those things honestly. I cook a lot. We both pretty frequently cream of tartar. Is one of those things that i've just had and maybe used once a year or something. I'm never i'm never having. Oh no we've got to get to the store before it closes. I'm almost cream of tartar. Moments nothing to do with tartar sauce. I imagine completely separate things or or now. I funny enough separate things. Tartar sauce doesn't have any cream of tartar. He instead tartar. Sauce is named after the tartar. Family basically end up manny's it's demand as with pickle chunks in like manner aids and relish mixed together is essentially. What tartars on. And i like it. I don't really like those things separately. But i do like a good. Mcdonald's fish fillet sandwich. Excuse me filet o. Fish sandwich every now and again. So so yes everybody has their own taste and some people were with some people were honestly digging water imperials. But along the way by the mid sixteen. Hundreds various people in london and elsewhere had started using sweet. Lemon juice mixed with honey and water as a beverage in the but they didn't necessarily make it on their home soil. They imported it from france and rice. You know sixteen hundred france. There was this huge. I guess we call them pop up stores roaming limiters right or limited yes. Yeah exactly. i don't know. Casey beggar here tells us out that. But yeah eliminators would probably be the americanized pronunciation limo not yells because it's spelled l. i. m. o. n. a. d. e r. s sounds like a little more of the francophone pronunciation. There's really great mental floss. Article called the surprisingly disgusting history of lemonade stands Which is a good tease. And if you've heard the pink lemonade episode. I think you know we're inching towards but you're right it was. It was even taken a step further right. 'cause i mean the france is where the whole cabaret scene kind of really started to take off and you know the moulin rouge and all of that stuff with burlesque dancers and just all of this kind of showmanship and you would see boozy versions of these sold in some of these These cabaret theaters Yeah a light refreshing drink that also gives you a light arguably refreshing buzz. This they did sell more than just. Just this like predecessor of mike's hard lemonade. But they got known for this. Because it was a popular like novelty drink and it became. It became so popular that eventually everybody who sold it was able to get together and start a union. All with the the name would translate to the company of eliminate years and this is coming from kerry tatro in our own house of works article fasting history of lemonade. Yeah and there's another mentioned that article about. I believe something. We've also done an episode on how it might have been part of a list. I can't remember But list episode but it was the idea that Parisians at least they believed helped fend off the plague because of all of the lemons that they were consuming In in this lemonade because it was like a dose of vitamin c that supposedly gave you a immuno boost. Kind of you know which is still definitely a thing that we know vitamin c. To do it turns out that it was more the fact that lemon peels have a substance in it that can kill a flea larva and also adult fleas so the more lemonade people drink the more of these discarded. Lemon peels were around the more. The rats a lemon peels and they ingested. This chemical called limousine That killed the fleas and their eggs. So it wasn't that it was giving them some kind of magical immuno boost even though it does a little bit certainly not enough to fend off the bubonic plague. It was more than it was killing the source of the plague. Which was those Those fleas yeah. And it's interesting because the idea of citrus fruit as curative. In any case It's it's a long held belief in this part of the world. Even though it wasn't until what about seventeen fifty. Three or so when james lend from the royal navy figured out that you could treat scurvy with citrus. The point is they were onto something yes. It didn't know quite what it was. Yeah right exactly. And so then we have things like Fast forward a little while we have the addition of fitness and the in seventeen sixty seven and then that goes all the way back to schweppes. if you remember the fizzy drink. That's still around. Today schweppes started in seventeen ninety. Eventually we get to what we call. The era of lemonade stands by the eighteen thirties. Fizzy lemonade from schweppes was pretty available around europe. And so you wouldn't see as many european lemonade stands but if we go to the seventeen hundreds we see that lemonade has made its way across the atlantic to what we recognized as the united states. Probably nobody but if bradley beal says i want out and i want to go to the lakers. He's got one year left before he hits free agency. Who can stop him from saying. I want to go to the lakers. And don't don't trade for me boston or whoever because i'm not signing there because anthony davis did the same damn thing. Why can't bradley beal do that. And ken lebron get him to do that. Yeah yeah all comes down to your agency. In what type of agent you have as well and what type of personality the player has because know you do that when you make that demand you're going to deal with the bags and some players are not accustomed to their backlash because they've always been seen as liberally bill has always had a pristine image immediate as far as everything he'd never really been viewed as a bad guy or been viewed as a villain by any means So if he were to come out like tomorrow and say we saw headline tomorrow on notification. We have got game three of the western conference finals coming up later on. Tonight between the sons and the clippers tip off a little over two hours away in phoenix already up. One two games to none have a one and a half. Point are the one and a half point betting favorite right now on pregame.com rather phoenix the road favor. Now mackenzie what do we have for the first half on this clippers are one and a half point favorites at the west gate right now. Now think about this. Why why are we making a distinction. I second half because the math cows us historically when a team is down oh to history houses that they play particularly well and game three. It's a must win perceived a big but as time went on and people dug deeper they realized that edge really was waded to the beginning of the game and the reason being the team itself is excited to get ready to make a statement to finally in front of their home fans because they had to play two games without their home fans and now they're down to and the home fans wanna show their support. Okay so what smart betters ended up doing was. They weren't in the clippers for the game. They were betting the clippers in the first half. In this scenario well you know what the betting market catches up. That's what it does it catches op and now think about this. This is the most extreme version of this. I've seen is. You've got the clippers favored by one and a half points in the first half and the sun's favored by one and a half for the game so literally. You're saying that there's eight. Th that the score that we're going to expect in the first half is clippers to win and score. We're going to expect for the game is phoenix to win. Jonas win of you ever seen something like that. I mean that's that is unique. I mean if that's the case wouldn't you before the game started look to bet phoenix second half just based on how the the number is moved right before the game so say one more time was i. Wouldn't you if you see that the line. They're saying that the clippers are going to win. The first half but phoenix is expected to win the game. When you look to before the game stuff so typically. They don't have second half bats before the game because they have halftime. That's when the game happens. But if they did it would have to add up so imagine. What it's saying is phoenix would be minus three in the second half. Yeah which is kind of crazy minus one and a half minus three is worth. They're saying clippers minus one and a half first half and phoenix minus three second-half. That's the only way you get to one and a half. I'm just doing a a little math right now. Now here's where my best bet is and we're going to take advantage of this. I believe we have a confluence of events. That makes the home advantage for the clippers. Here less lasts less than you might think number one. What's new about two sons. Oh look daddy's home chris. Paul is back and could you imagine the he's finally back. I don't care how he's a little bit. You know less than one hundred percent. That's not even the handicap is. How excited is chris. Paul to be back. Potentially a cup. They win this game almost a lock to make his first finals. Do you think he's going to let that team be a little accident as ical because the zigzagged theory has two sides to it one teams more motivated. One team is lackadaisical typically team down to oh is motivated typically a team. That's up is lackadaisical. I don't think the suns are gonna be lackadaisical because i don't drink chris. Paul will allow them to be. This is what's fresh and new and novel about it. That's something championship. Teams like to do is make one change even a major change. Oh 'cause even if feels like oh maybe that's kind of a lateral move. No but at least there's another player in air that's never won a championship. There's a sense of excitement is essentially. Lets get one for this guy. Will chris paul's back. He wasn't here for the first two games. So the idea. That phoenix is going to be lackadaisical. Forget about it. They're not going to be. And you know what the clippers have been down two. Oh two oh or however you to say two straight series so this is old hat for them so to whatever degree they want to win the game which they do. "Talk to your doctor brought to you by janssen pharmaceuticals inc. You know josh. Yes i am not sure why everyone thinks. Summer is downtime. This is really the busiest part of our year. So that means you get a recharge as often as possible and you can do this by going to your favorite starbucks where you're baristas going to know that your summer drink of choice starbucks cold brew yes. Starbucks colbert's served up ice cold and refreshing and the taste is exceptionally smooth. That's the name of it. It's a great name all right. You got your period cage shield. Rfk jr radio frequency all. These are just different names for the same thing your ems cage electro motive force cage your klif cage sure kfi am pay cage What was k- k. What was the first one. you said. Kale kale yeah. That's what was that group the klif. Yeah but they had like one song they had. It were a one hit. Wonder basically i think they were the ones that set a million pounds on fire. I bet they regret they did. They actually held a A very unsuccessful kickstarter. They really million pounds. Back years later i was about to make a joke and say kickstarter but they really did yes. They did Maybe they'll us. I think it was calif came him. I can't remember it might have been came. Fdm who was it that We thought was writing us at one point but it was a fake louis. Bega loop yup. That's got us good. Oh my okay talk about that. The lubega incident band. Jerry's over here laugh as you remember for the lubega even uses is picture on his twitter handle like. Oh well that check yeah. That's new vegas verified. The mama number five guy He wasn't even verify. That was the dopes touch dopes so we have been talking a lot about the fair day cage and what they can use for and one of the things that can be used for is like. Let's say you're in a lab and a science lab and you want to conduct an experiment in a truly neutral setting with no electromagnetic field at all. Yeah nothing going on. He said these are energy waves. That are flowing through the air. Just because you can't see him doesn't mean they're out there but yeah so can affect a lot of experiment so you might wanna have a fair day cage built for your science lab. That's a big one if you are at a university that's more than a two bit university. They're probably going to have faraday cages here there around some of their labs for sure. Yeah of course you want to go to a hospital in Look for fair day. Kate go take me to the mri lamb though. Say yes sir. Click their heels together and take you to see a fair because The either the mri machine or possibly the room that the mri machine is in. Maybe even both are outfitted with faraday cages. Because for the same reason. As when you're protecting your lab. You don't want the the Electromagnetic radiation interfering with the data. That the mri is taking in writing screwing up the picture and they'd be like good lord. This guy's got a tumor the size of a watermelon on wait. We forgot to build disinherited cage. Yeah it's not to protect sound like an x ray it's not to protect. Mri juice from spreading through the hospital. I i don't know. I think it's to protect the the definitely is but i wonder if it's too folder but then you'd have to have two day cages working in opposite directions and then the universe might fold in on itself and that's true. I mentioned airplanes earlier as a teaser. cars don't get struck by lightning a lot but you'll be very scared to know that airplanes do get struck by lightning quite a bit. I don't think i've been in a plane that was struck by lightning by. I've been in situations where it's possible but this probably really dumb question like would it make a big thunder boom right then. I don't know it's a dumb question. A great question. Because i would say then you would probably know if the whole plane just went ka boom the other way that you can tell if you end up in an alternate universe that the langa leaders are eating. That's the other way to know your playing was struck by lightning but the airplane is fine all the equipment all the people inside fine with balcony. No less did you ever see that no. It was pretty bad. What was it. It was a stephen king made for. Tv movie starring bulky really. Yeah it was bad. The langdale ears right. I mean just bad. I was just laughing because you were saying funny words okay. That's good enough for me. As long as i'm getting laughs out to you that's all i care about So yeah that plane is a faraday cage Buildings can probably not purposely be built as a fair cage but they can act as that well. It's like that that laugh The wire mesh latte that that you apply the past plaster to you're talking about also with Poured concrete reinforced concrete. Rebar the rebar in there if you you know build a large enough structure the rebar can accidentally act as a fair day cage and we said depending on what electromagnetic radiation. You're trying to keep out. You actually want to attune that attenuate. I guess the size of the mesh or the grid pattern. Whatever the chain link fence. It'll keep some stuff out depending on the size of the whole based on the wavelength of the wave and if the wavelength is bigger than the whole it can actually be kept out if the wave link is smaller than the whole. Then it's going to pass through fairly easily and even if you do Make it just right. It's still probably not going to be a perfect faraday cage as evidenced in the case of a microwave right. Yeah like if you put your phone your cell phone and a microwave and shut the door. Don't turn it on no but if you just put it in there and called it would probably bring. yeah probably even though your phone operates. Microwaves but you your microwave. Just isn't one hundred percent perfect seen everywhere where this explained follows up with. Don't worry you're not going to be affected by the microwave. Radiation bright certain standards for leakage. That have to be met in the developed world. If you're selling microwave for buying a microwave. So i still don't stand in front of me microwave though you probably shouldn't you know just in case but then now choke we've kind of traipsed into the territory where faraday cages of really kind of made a big appearance in the consumer market. Which is things like protecting from Emf allergies oh right like Better call saul brother on the show. summit seen that well michael mckeon is catcher. He plays a character. He plays Sol's brother and he has a allergy to electromagnetic radiation allergy. Or is it in his head. I mean they explore it like it's in his head they also explore like. It's you know from his viewpoint it's happened real and it's basically the no cbo effect is how seen it explain but there are a lot of people out there and you'll see in the show where he's wearing like A solar blanket like metallic blanket..

"Out for me. I agree with you there. So you're talking. It looks like about three minutes. Maybe a hold onto long. But i'll make one last point in about ten minutes and thirty seconds. The was fifteen so we went from five at the end of the third and went up to about ten and then it went up to fifteen real fast start in the fourth so at that point maybe with you know ten and a half minutes left you downgraded t now maybe you sit him at that point. It's not like your backups. Can't potentially come back. you know. That's the funny thing the spurs when. They had that two year run. They played the heat in the finals. There was a couple of games in the western conference. I was watching that every spurs game from start to finish that year Boris diaw was kinda my spirit animal in the nba. I thought if i play the nba. Like boris diaw. But but the reality is that there was two games in which were down by about twenty and You know this wasn't in the finals. And they put in their whole second team and his second team brought him back to light. Five points and pop left in the backups and he ended up losing those games and pop said. Hey the starters are the ones that had is down twenty but to put in a high energy second unit and say go for run. It really play hard here. Probably had a good of a chance of coming back and you would have gotten the rest. Yeah i i just. I wonder at what point. They're going to regret this decision. And look who knows. Maybe kevin durant wasn't going full speed last night. You know maybe. He was being conservative with his energy because he clearly wasn't the same player who was the previous game. And so this this could all be a moot point. But i just every advantage outside of homecourt is in the side of milwaukee heading into game seven like every single advantage and we got the line on the game. So have you seen this. I have not. I or i saw earlier today but i was wondering because i was doing the show with brady quinn and we were talking about. How much could possibly move the game. Seven line we saw when it was at pick them early early this morning. Yes or right now. Brooklyn is a one point favor and now about this so the games in brooklyn home court right now probably for brooklyn. I'll give it two and a half. So what we're saying is with a hobbled harden and without kyri more walkies the better team. If you're supposed to be a two and a half point favor at home if you're brooklyn and you're one point favorite means you're the lesser team with the g- given the givens. I don't agree with that. Which i mean. What's your gut feeling. I i think when it comes to milwaukee and when it comes to milwaukee going into this game. I just so hard to trust but i look at brooklyn and i go in. I'll say this crunch time. If the games close late i trust brooklyn but overall i trust milwaukee to have a more complete game just based on their health and just based on who's available is so let's take our first break because this game is going over the weekend and we usually don't do this when we come back. I'm going to give a pick on this game an early pick and one of the reasons why i'm going to pick the way i am. There's a trend home away split. That really is an eye. Popper be sure to catch. Obviously milwaukee stepping up on defense. The line in game seven brooklyn at home only favored by one as we talked about that. Means it milwaukee right now with a hobbled harden on the other side is considered to be the superior team the better team milwaukee. Speaking of harden jonas. Let's give credit where credit's due here. And i'm saying that. Because i got some good credit coming up on the six game but is we asked you impromptu. No prep time. Hey what did you think the over under should be for hardens points you said fifteen and a half and the actual over under was sixteen and a half. He scored sixteen. I mean it was like. I don't know if you've ever pitched quarters but when you pitch quarters you're trying to get them as close to the wall possible sometimes just a sliver and then someone slides right up in. "And that was the scariest thing of course night. You twenty your twenty one. Yeah yeah yeah. Yeah i was. Egging was found to either about so getting close to one Still immature though in young. And i think it was a love. His parents are wonderful to be but it was very intimidating. Because i knew they were not going to be happy because i and i remember thinking i can just get out of here and get this conversation. I want to deal with anymore. Almost wanted to hurry up. And do the quickest could to not have to deal with that sad all the disappointment of his family. The church because i did love is family shirts in. I love todd. That was the weirdest thing you know. I really wanted todd. I knew that was the thing. I remember telling. My mom's pastor wanted to talk and get some help. I don't know what is ever gonna lovingly top lousy told me that i knew that i just. I didn't love what i believed alive. I didn't todd whether he loves me. And i need to find that. That's what my biggest problem was still be friends. Remember in you all a lot of immaturity and selfishness. Honestly just like you said i. I didn't do a lot of that. Young student up into i was being young and stupid and there was a lot of pressure with egan situation about who was gonna have him in their home fulltime. I had to file pretty quickly. Papers are because a lot of the pressure that was coming from a lot of different things and because i wanted to just get it done because i felt like i might back out of it and i felt like i made up my mind what i was going to do and hurry up and do it in heaven and so i went and fouled and honestly the only thing i can say that happened was because i knew ladies. The church took a special time now to do all right for me. Mom came to visit brooklyn work one day. She took her out to lunch. His mom said she wanted to help. But truth be told. Brooke was a little bit freaked out. Todd's mom asked brooke if she'd just give it another six months. Just six months and work out then. Brooke was free to leave again. No questions asked. And i didn't answer them but eventually at home because the pressure. That's what my decision. I was to come home for six months. And i was leaving in that was mansion but in that six months guy got a hold of me said things were often me and i realized how much i love tied and we didn't know it wasn't family and how much i didn't want to damage magical you know time for a long time when i first combat ties web deal with heart disease pastic. And that's how he covers his hurt. And so if i did anything it'd be in front of people talk about all. I'm not worried about any. Do kinda laugh. You judge us leave again and i it. Just he would say things like that in front of people in it really hurt my feelings and we talked about it and you did quit but there was a lot of working through a lot of issues. It wasn't a magic rackets overnight. Thing was an overtime in conversation. I had after a church service in said you know. I don't know what this is gonna look like. But i do know from this on. I'm going to try. Because i wasn't john for the first several months and i did tell that what i was going to try and i think that was the starting point better started to get better. The two of them talked about having more kids. But i'll will say. I wanted at least three. I honestly wanted three. And i wanted to. We also recall is one of those things are finally just kept growing. It was like eight different decisions to go off family and they were unique. All eight hundred. Shekels a surprise and people are. How'd you have a surprise it out. Well like klay called. It said there was a sibling. We didn't we and louis was a complete surprise. You some surprises in they are. We also had some the athlete. Todd was a little more surprised me. But i really okay with it. He was a little more. We want this other super careful. So i mean i think it's one of those things in his like todd said i tell people all the time and i had one kid won't give us hard when i had to kiss. Tickets was hard. I think the more you grow you just adjust and we're just used to chaos now in. Todd said they all help. It's travel We've that we know everybody can't be in all the sports and do all the things we learned because we have a large family that we it's early. Let me let ourselves off the hook. It's not when people say how y'all make it work with. Sometimes we don't operate like a site times. Sometimes the houses a mess until my kids all the time. God chose to put this big family in so you know we don't do everything just like a smart just because we can't but we also have a lot of like. Hey my kids. I built playmates. Everybody's always won't kiss play with him because their kids don't have any bi plan with my kids. We need kids. Don't take care of each other as much as they entertain one another and enjoy and the older ones to help take care from day or daily. You know we all in the family. We have to pitch into the family. Don't work while one time for a quick break when we get back. We'll find out. How brooklyn todd. And i've been dating for about five months and he's the best man i've ever been with and he treats me really good. There's a situation that i'm dealing with and my man doesn't understand why it's bothering me. When we first met he had just gotten a divorce. I mean it was literally finalized the day before. I met him because it was a quick divorce. He was still living in the house he shared with his wife. He said they didn't put the house in the divorce settlement because it was his wife's house in per name i thought within months of getting a divorce he'd move out. We even went to look at apartments and rental houses together then. He informed me that he's decided to stay in the house with his ex wife because she agreed to let him read his man cave area of the house. He said the room is on the second floor. And it's got a bathroom attached to it and a wet bar section with a tiny fridge in it. He said he's got access to a bedroom upstairs to because his wife doesn't go upstairs at all. I asked him about the common areas they have to share and he assured me that he had it all worked out. This has put a strain on our relationship because he has to stay at my house all of the time since i'm not allowed to visit him or even step foot on this woman's property i popped over there last week to see what would happen and his ex wife met me at the door and said if i don't like her rules then i should let him move in with me. I left and called cursed him out. He doesn't understand how crazy this is. I'm getting the vibe. That he's a salary but man that's what she said. What is really going on here. Please help you know what. I don't like this situation at all for you because this arrangement is just really stupid. I mean what. Are you getting out of this. You're getting but stress and misery and unhappiness this so-called best guy that you've ever had is living with his ex wife and paying her rent to live there as much time as you say spins at your place. Why don't you charge him rent. You should should be charging him read. Maybe that will help him to understand that. It's time to get out of his wife's house and move on with you in his life. That means getting his own place. You said you guys have looked at places what happened. That means getting his own place. Where you're invited we're you can go over there and hang out and spend the night things like that. That couples do it makes absolutely no sense for him to still be staying there unless unless he's having trouble letting go might be. You said he treats you really well so he should have moved out when his wife's supposed to you. So brutally when you popped up over there History behind did nothing okay. He's not right for you. I mean he can barely take care of himself at this point so you need to do for yourself when he can't do for himself and that's move on. It's only been five months. You'll be all right. You'll be all right steve. This letter got our believe it written all over it. Yeah i do not understand. Why does women's rightness netter because it don't make no says how much time i got to deal with this but we go all right now you. I met his best man you ever had. We never treated really good We first met. He had just gotten divorced literally finalized the day before i met hill danger. Danger will robinson yes got out now. I know marriage is over long before the data's is so he probably been going through this but you did say it was a quick divorce so he was still living in a house that he shared with his wife and they didn't put the house in the divorce settlement because it was his wife's house in her name. You put it in a divorce settlement. Because of what he did that brought about the quick divorce. You never mentioned that act. And now you ain't getting this house you got to get out this my damn house so now. That's why that didn't get put into divorce settlement. I thought after. I thought within months of getting a divorce he'd move out. Y'all went to look at apartments and rental houses together. He wouldn't serious and he was. Just you know appeasing then here for me to. He decided to stay in the house with his ex wife because she agreed to let him read his man cave area of the house. He's said the room is on the second floor and got a bathroom attached to it.
