And i put him in a couple years ago and then when everything on with cohen went down. I pulled him back out. We live in a very small town of extremely rural area of eastern washington. We are surrounded by a lot of bees schools so we have a lot of towns around us. Our town is about two hundred and eighty people. We serve Three areas in in our combined school of liberty school district and we serve About four hundred kids. Maybe four hundred fifty kids k. Through twelve so extremely small school districts. We're one of the larger ones in this rural area. And you know everybody was what we're doing nationwide going to school boards in asking her school boards to stand up for us asking why they don't just say no. We got the same answer and it was frustrating for parents. They kept saying we can't our hands are tied. They'll pull our federal funding or pull our certification. We can't do anything so we went to a couple of those and we weren't getting anywhere with the board of directors ironically eight. I believe that the board of directors they send this out loud personally on a personal level. I think across this area of the state. They all agree with us. That the masks are ridiculous. That crt is over the top that the sex ed training awful a bit. So i believe that we are like minded with our board. I think we are like minded with our new superintendent however they have their hands tied by jane's ladies emergency orders act so they can't do anything and so that was really frustrating task. We started Just visiting on what. We can do what we can do. Well when you have fifty people show up to a board meeting. There's not. You're not gonna make a debt so we started contacting other people. I have a cousin down in colefax and she was in on a group. There was about one hundred down there which is a little south of us and they have about eighteen hundred people in the town so little bit of a bigger town. They had about eight hundred people at their board meeting so then we got to thinking what if he merged are group's a keep in mind. This is all within the last ten days ten days. We've done this. And so then we started contacting people gar pal. Which has i think maybe fourteen kids graduating lacrosse washington which has four kids graduating the town of three hundred. We have rudin washington which may be has twenty five thirty kids graduating so really small towns and we decided to bring are groups together and see if we could make a debt because the one thing that we do know is that alone. We can't really do anything but there is power in numbers. I just wanna clarify one one point here. You're basically saying that you're not able to really fight back at the school board level. Because it's going to jay inslee in olympia. The governor is basically holding over funds for your local school districts. Even if your local school boards agree with you so you you're basically trying to figure out. How do we crack the code. Then how do we. How do we break through this impasse because holding funding over our school districts heads. They're not just building funding of our school districts they are directly in a letter reykdal Who is the key. Ics -partment. They have said we will. If you do not force the mass mandate if you do not comply with all of our rules. Set up in the kobe response or kobe reopening. Or whatever you wanna call it. We will not only withhold funding. We could potentially shut you down. We will hit you with fines. We will Take way certification from teachers in superintendents. Our school board. In our superintendents nar administration has been instructed not to come tonight that they could lose their certification. They could lose funding. And i when asked why that was. What you're explaining to us is we're we're seeing this play out on the national level in states like florida in states like texas where you do have republicans in power at the will and they are basically seeing local municipalities fightback against statewide. You know anti mask mandates statewide anti passport mandates so you have local municipalities like austin and houston san and antonio dallas or west palm beach or broward county in florida pushing..
