Bucks Win Game 5 to Take a 3-2 Series Lead

"The bucks one twenty three one. Nineteen game five win on the road over the sons to pick up three two series lead kyle at felt like at one point it was going to be a big sons blowout. Sixteen point lead in the first quarter. It feels like at one point. It's going to be a huge fox blow out and then it gets tied at the end it. We got a really good game down the stretch. That was fun to watch man. I loved it incredible game. I mean a lot of fortitude on both sides to not go away and to come back with your like you said. We had a of lead shifts and changes. The bucks fought back from that big deficit early. We big shots. We had big miss shots. It was it was sort of a shakespearean play there towards the end it. It's amazing if that went ahead ended with like a game winner. Something that would have gone down as a pretty memorable finals game. Not that it won't anyway. But yet really entertaining drama heck of a heck of a gutsy performance by milwaukee no doubt about it and we have to start at that lachie side which holiday twenty seven points thirteen assists only two turnovers at three steals. He had two of this. Deals are going to stick in my mind for a long time. And the third quarter. He had the on. Ball steel against devon booker then took a poll up three and transition in the final minute of the game helping off ball on a drive by devon booker strips. The ball janas runs the floor and he throws the alleyoop to him for the dunk holiday. Both ends of the court all those. Eric bledsoe comparisons from games one and two feel like such a distant memory. Kyle holiday was extraordinary tonight. I mean what freaking performance at both ends big balls there. That's the only thing that comes. I mean those plays that. He made that one three that he took after he destroyed up rip booker. I was just stunned. That he had the stones to take that and he nailed it. Yeah and then the the presence of mind you know. The refs aren't going to necessarily call a foul like that. Every time in a situation like that i mean he kinda force them to make a call He he got a little bit of risk a little bit of hand on that swipe down when he came over weakside to steal that from booker but yeah when he when he threw that lob to janas. I almost thought he threw it over. The cylinder again almost threw it into the cylinder and when he did that stood up. Stood up in my office. I just couldn't believe

How the NBA trade deadline's biggest deals reshaped the playoff picture

"Agent joins right now. Espn nba insider yesterday. Very busy day for him. Of course all over it as usual and woes we always do when it comes to trade deadline's and whatnot. We do it with free agency as well. We about who the biggest winner is who the biggest loser is in your mind. Was there a big winner in a big loser. Well i think certainly the miami heat bringing on victory depot and really giving them an opportunity for the long term to if he fits. He was a player that they had. We know there's been a mutual interest between all the depot in wanting to eventually get to miami and the heat wanting to have him especially once janas attendant cuco when off the board and he wasn't going to be available for them to pursue. And i think now they get them for this window of time. They have their medical team. Get a good look at him. See his health and then see how he fits in there and not just whether they'd want to sign them longer term but how much do they want to pay them and they certainly get a player here for the rest of the season that can potentially help this group. You know as they climb their way get healthier. Get past some of those early. Kobe issues and do what they did last year. Just sort of worked themselves into sort of that playoff team in the east that becomes a really tough out

Does Lebron James Deserve More MVP Awards?

"Let me tell you what. Lebron james is notorious for a other than skipping town. Go to another team other than that you know what. He's famous for taking his foot off the gas to a regular seasons when he went back to cleveland. You remember that he was like i don't mean to have the number one seed. I don't need to kill myself during the regular season. that's why he didn't win. Mvp's he undersea deserve to have more last year. Janas was the mvp unwanted convincingly and overwhelmingly. Why bernie 'cause the year before. John is wanted and lashio. Jonah's had better numbers than the year before. And the milwaukee bucks had the best record in the nba. Lebron james was really shocked because he had some false narrative going on that he was the mvp. Come on bernie has some humility. You don't have to do that. Politics will knock it you an. Mvp saying goes true. Greatness needs no self promotion. And we've talked about this probably at least once in every show we've done robin that is lebron is incredibly insecure about his legacy. If he's really the king what is he. Allow these things to get under his skin. He did it last. September when he lost out on the mvp then he says well. What really pisses me off. Allie got sixteen votes out of. That's what really pisses me up. Look if you want to continue to die in this hill lebron. You're going to continue to be seen as petty and al kuzina says the mvp's very political award. Yeah so is the mvp and major league baseball in the nfl. Probably the nhl and the heisman trophy right on down the line. Linda brown goes on to say. I don't sit around thinking about it or crying about it. That's what he just said that's all. He does time even when they won the championship last year and i gave him top credit. Lebron fan never will be better given top credit. Because the lakers are a franchise of eras you had to wilt air the jabbar air the magic the kobe and shaq era negative lebron air to win a championship and when he did the first thing he does say i want my damn respect do what he. What are you constantly begging for. What exactly is it. What happened in because you know why bernie it tells you all you need to know. He knows deep down. He's not the best player all time he knows his michael jordan. That's why it's always looking for these other things to add to his resume. That's why he he wants an mvp and you know what he sees now. He seems j. He sees james harden in brooklyn without a kevin durant and they've won fourteen out of fifteen or whatever the number is bernie and and he's looking going and when a went out to lakers stumbled he's not going to win the

"Nine sixers one five in overtime how this game overtime layup. Instead of dribbling out it could've taken that one yard bought david chen losing it on defense but in overtime it was y- honest and it was johnny sitting on the sixers courts. Ramona you have a problem with sitting down on the sixers four. Oh i've never seen before and this is a nice. Is it nice. Move like the bucks are kind of disregarding team in the eastern conference even though they ran away with it but like the last seven points or you want to run to close the game so i think for is go ahead and sit on the court take arrest degree breather and i did kind of his tweet at the end of the gate where he said like. Sit back and enjoy the show. If anybody's fans should appreciate that. It is joel. Embiid philadelphia seventy sixers fan. Cal shaw the only thing i have a problem with is celebrating beating philadelphia without their. Mvp candidate with him sitting over on the bench in street clothes. It's just you know. Would philadelphia be celebrating if they beat the bugs without you us. I don't know. I don't think that would be a big deal either. They had to come from behind. They made a nice comeback. I like milwaukee like holiday being added to the team. But but. I don't think this was a big win for them. And we kaplan i just think it's a little rich to hear philadelphia complain about janas doing this when he literally stole a book out of joel. Embiid's playbook giuliani. Does this stuff all the time. But this is one of those rare games. It was a win for both of them. I mean the sixers came in second half of back to back without embiid. They held the Bucks to their worst first half the entire season and then you have the books. They have their worse first half of the entire season and they've resilient and they wants us out of it and that's a win for them to i don't think this is t o celebrating on dallas star. But it is something you know. Yana said he's having fun. And i'm all for having fun but sit down. Phillies court and then taking a photographer's cameras snapping pictures blowout win vs india last month. He's having a lotta fun at the expense of is eastern conference rivals in it and as an unofficial historian of nba pettiness. I'm all for it but pump the brakes you be without without embiid. They blew a nineteen point lead. You almost blew the game at the end of it yourself. So this game looked and felt like a playoff game because you know what you gotta be careful doing stuff like this because you might see him again. "janas" Discussed on The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz

"The days are the days are numbered for Janas in that sort of same comparison and is not ready to throw him under the bus, yet you're allowed to do this. You're allowed to do this. You're allowed to be frustrated your lead to be twenty four years old. Yeah. Not allowed to be as old as Kyriacos in sort of spouting off about lack of chemistry that you yourself are creating probably the cause of and where I give some credit to is he did everything. I mean these are. Down games for him. And it's horrible radio, right? Like reading through game logs. But I'm looking at a guy who you know, twenty four twenty five twenty four points, thirty points like he was he was searchable like that's great. That's as he was swine and Colli was great. And yes, you are the MVP candidate. You're that guy. You have to be the one who's great. You have to be the one that carries your team on your shoulders, and he was kind of the opposite. He was air. Balling free throws. Yeah. He was making a lot of mistakes. He was sloppy. So just like we talk about with some of the guys that we do crush at the podium. It's not always what you say. It's how you say it, and it wasn't just that Jaanus lost. It was sort of how he was not scoring in moments where you say air balling, free throws missing bunnies. Not scoring outside the restricted area for do we blame drink. I would love to blame Drake. But I think I think that, that atmosphere, I think it got into his head, there was a reason why everyone on the bucks. Kept addressing it like booting Holzer addressed it Yoenis is people addressed it like Yanni's must have walked away from those games and said something to the effect of Republicans say Drake is getting into my head, but Drake clearly was clearly was working. I don't I don't know that, that factored in is much as Nick nurse, realizing the length of his team like he has a guy. He's gotten quite Leonard, as a seven three wingspan PASCAL. Ceac him tremendous length Marcus soul. I mean, wait, hold on. When did we forget that coli was good at defense? Like when did that happen to that happened in the year that he wasn't playing sabbatical year? Yeah. Probably the year that he quit on his old team interest. Probably hold on. Interesting that you say he quit on his team. Yeah. Why can't we when somebody says I am hurt? Why can't we take it at face value in say? Yeah. That guy's hurt. He can't play because there are NBA voices NBA, analysts and insiders that we work with, and that we listen to who didn't believe it. And there's person on the planet that can that can say I am in paid. No, the level of paint. And that's you or in this case, we're talking about Hawaiian. He's the least talkative superstar that the NBA is that why hadn't probably so anyway, while he was taking a sabbatical from his team more while he was hurting and usually were with whatever however it is that you want to phrase it. I think somewhere along the line. We also forgot that this guy is a defensive genius. Right. Which is why I think going back to the original point of, like if he had a full season, would he get that MVP consideration? And I don't know that we'll ever get that because I don't know that whoever turn. No his own body in his own longevity loose on the rest of the league, which sounds like an odd phrase, and we're just gonna leave it at that. That's Nicole Briscoe. I'm Randy Scott. "It's a two series right now. ESPN ESPN's, Myron medcalf. The bucks are in trouble. Like you cannot talk about this in any other way. But the fact that the number one team in the NBA team that won sixty games the team, that has Jaanus who supposed to be the MVP. They're in trouble. They went in one two games. Here they are two and they look like an inexperienced group, they look like a group that thought they had it thought they were on the way to the finals that got punched back in the mouth, and here, the going back to Milwaukee limping back to Milwaukee Janas. Is not the nineteen year old. He was a few years ago, and the guy who was this promising prospect, he's an MVP candidate hood, and I'm not gonna treat them any other way if he fails in these next three games that's going to be an important part of his young legacy. He's got a show up because I think this bucks team to go from being one of the best stories in the NBA to being one of the biggest disappointment if they don't capitalize on this opportunity that they haven't frontal as for Toronto. Kyle Lowry is dealing with a bump on his non shooting hand and we've seen an occasional lymph from Colli Leonard. Earlier Audie SPN radio T has an analyst, Josh Lewin bird. I I'm impressed by it. I was thinking about this today for no other reason, San Antonio Spurs fan. They're not going to be happy to hear this. But quite Leonard is as we know a few months away from free agency. He's got a lot of money on the line potentially two hundred plus million. If he stays in Toronto and signs the max and at this point he owned it. He's got nothing left to prove from that standpoint. Certain players, maybe not a lot of them. But certain players in that situation might just say, all right. I'm going to protect my interests year nothing guesting that he would not play. But maybe not go full speed, especially if he's somewhere where he doesn't wanna be long term and just say, all, I, I'm gonna make sure that I, I don't take any risks here, but he's laying it out all on the line. He's emptying the take your he's playing through an injury of unknown severity. And I'm not sure if that speaks to maybe his connection with the lockers, being stronger than some people think that it is or that speaks to its competitive nature. And the fact that he just wants to compete championship win a championship regardless of where he is. And what he plans on doing if you months from now. Dame, five Eastern Conference finals coming up on Thursday. It's here on ESPN radio as every game until a champion is crowned sportscenter allnight ESPN radio. I don't think that they have to make an ironclad decision before they have all the information. Why would they? Why would they make a call now? Kevin durant. "We'll see what happens in the playoffs, but Janas offense and defensively dominated a sleek. He's he's averaging twenty six thirteen like we said, he's also the only guy that's averaging over a block and a Steeler game to add onto those stats. So authencity he has significant impact on our team defensively dominates the league's. Well, can you take in with Janas potentially be in the face of MBA? We hear about how much weight gain. He's add it we hear about him adding strength in the weight room. Take us through Mike a day in in Janas because we know superstars, but he's very very different in this day today approach and trying to be the best player that he can be. He's a pretty simple guy. And I've I'm I'm blessed that I've been around for a long time. Now, he he loves a family, I so he's family. I he comes to work early. He stays late and he goes back and spend time with his family. And so he's he's he's all family in basketball. And it's it's not much more complicated in that. There are some. Great maybe pocketful Yana stories from his early time in the league. There's the story of when he first tasted smoothies that he then tweeted about him taking food home to go that he couldn't believe was furry him sending the those story. I wanna know if it's true is. And if it is if you can elaborate on it, did he really send all his money home one day and then have to run to the stadium back and catch a ride with the team with a fan. And if not do you have a great Yana story to share with us clarify comment on that one. Specifically. He'll probably get a little upset at me. But so you honest, we base led to teach them how to drive him. He'd spent some time driving a little bit when he was in Europe, obviously illegally. But when he came to the US couple of guys that I worked with we had to spend time teaching drive. So we're on the way to his place. He's driving my car. I'm writing this not a driver's Ed vehicle, and he he's like just doesn't even break to go into left hand turn. So we're going about thirty miles an hour. He just makes us left her. Trying to get the break. So he he's he's unbelievable guy again for us to have them in Milwaukee. And for us to to have them. This entire time has been great. And in the things that he's doing really special knowing the person.

"Uh-huh. Both Janas LeBron are out maybe the two biggest stars the game as right now neither neither of them are going to play tonight. So the people who thought that they could get a fortune by trying to resell their tickets and a lot of them were still up as of this afternoon, and the people who already paid way above face value to go tonight are probably going to be very very frosted about this. I actually talking to a friend of mine a few days ago, and he said, you know, you ought to sell your tickets for tonight at he said, this is a guy I know who's on top of things he said a week ago, you know, LeBron's probably not gonna play in this game. And if you take a look at the schedule right now, we're in the second half of the season. This is the time of the year the players arrested. Also the Lakers losing every game. They play. They don't see any reason to run LeBron into the ground when they're not making the playoffs their way under five hundred. They've lost twelve of their last fourteen and they just had an unbelievable game a New Yorker which LeBron played well over forty minutes. They lost by point the game. Would just scream it out. This is. Probably one that he wasn't gonna play. Generally, speaking teams rest their star players in one of two scenarios one a game. They know they're going to lose any way or the other way around. Again, you think you could win without your top player for the bucks perspective. I think they think they can beat the Lakers without Yannis, especially since the blinders in playing so it's a good opportunity to rest, yada. So the Lakers perspective. What do they care about this season? They don't want to run LeBron into the ground for a game. There are probably going to lose anyway. But. The end result is this matchup. And you know, when they when when you sell tickets prior to the beginning of a season, and you sell these ten packs, and so on you put in and you use these players that you're selling point come see, LeBron, this ten pack includes the Lakers, etc. Etc. Etc. I really don't know what to say about this. I really don't. When you buy a ticket for a sporting event. There's always a chance a player is going to be hurt. If somebody's not going to play what in the NBA, you get into these things though were guys who are healthy don't play. I can see how it frosts a fan. On the other hand. I don't know how fans can demand being able to tell a team how to manage its personnel. I think the bucks decision is more easily defensible not to play Yannis Janas is banged up. Yacht is just came off a fifty two point game on Sunday. The bucks are clearly in the playoffs, and they wanna be fresh. They don't wanna be burned out by the time. They get there. You can defend that as for the Lakers. The reason that I plan LeBron is they don't see much reason to win win right now. Anyway, they want to have as bad a record as possible to get a better chance to get a good pick out of the draft lottery. Given the fact that they've had a terrible season and they're not going anywhere. But if they've made that decision they could just fake an injury and say, oh, LeBron strain this that and the other thing, and they usually they'll come up with something we all know that it's basically just rest, but people who bought tickets and in some cases overpaid. By paying above face value in the interpretation that they were going to see this matchup between these two guys who clearly have created a rivalry. I Janas likes beating LeBron and LeBron is obsessed with beating Janas. Well, neither am I gonna play. Paul said up. Well, how many tickets did he buy though? Well, I mean. The seats that are adjacent to mind. Somebody's had him on sale for four hundred and eighty five dollars. Yeah. Well, that'd be about. Right. I mean courtside seats are about a thousand dollars. Anyway. That's face value. That's what they would be. And then you pay above that for a game like this. But what are you gonna do? I mean, I'm actually going tonight. I did not go Sunday. I got rid of my ticket Sunday because I'm trying to manage my specified on things. I did my taxes and all this stuff Monday. I just needed Sunday to get a lot of things done. So I'm planning to go to not I was going to go. Anyway, what do I care if he's not playing? I just hope that the bucks win. It's not that big of a deal for me to see LeBron. I can't sell every ticket that I have Wales though, I have them. But I could have clearly probably sold them at a profit prior to tonight's game. Knowing that a LeBron probably wasn't gonna play at be hardly anybody else figured that. I fly imagine some people are going to grumble that are going to be hacked off. But I mean. What would you say you do about it? I'd say nothing, right. Now, San Antonio had vetted this I mean, Gregg Popovich started San Antonio a few years ago just came up with this thing, I'm going to take a few games that were probably gonna lose anyway. And he rests like everybody. This is back when they had Dunkin and Parker and all those guys in general he played up a booth. Okay. I'll just play all the scarves are probably going to lose. Anyway, what the hack let let's have the team be a little bit fresher. Now just about everybody late in the season. Does it on the other hand, you know, LeBron could have actually heard himself Sunday? It'd be the same thing. And that's it. Four zero three news talk eleven thirty w I s. "Update at the Johnson Bank sports desk. Here's cut Gino was a huge statement for the bucks in the bayou city Middleton out there. Mid court seven to shoot driving on cappella crosses down the lane teardrop. No good. Davis on the call here on WTMJ Janas Kumbo twenty seven points and twenty one rebounds, the president Malcolm brogden with twenty four and even though James harden, what offer forty two for Houston the box cooled off the red hot rockets won sixteen what oh nine high level game to go on the road. Find a way to win a game. Terse circumstances, obviously against a team. That's playing really really great basketball player. That's playing great basketball. But it's a great team went for us and a lot of guys played well bucks. Coach Mike boot and Holzer who now heads to Washington for his team state with the wizards tomorrow night. Elsewhere in the NBA, speaking of Washington, they held down Philadelphia. One twenty three one zero six the Celtics speed up on the Pacers one three five one eight college basketball, a thriller for the twenty first ranked golden eagles Marquette down three Marquel? Inbound along the baseline chant point eight left the ball touched by anyone. Intentional foul. Howard will inbound he throws back to Sam Houser. You got it. Got it. The Homer true and Tony Smith on ninety four five ESPN FM. I don't know if he got it. There wasn't enough visual evidence to overturn it. But I mean, it literally is off his hand as the scoreboard turns red. So in that case, you kind of say the backboard splitting overtime. Yeah. And they did it was great. And they did they outscore Creighton twenty one nineteen in that extra frame. The final score one of the six one zero four the story was Marcus Howard. He scored a big east record fifty three points in the end. It was a game that can carry a team through the ups and downs of a long season. It was a great college basketball game. One for players and coaches Tanada are to be in. I'd say the same thing if we didn't win play of both teams wasn't credible. I mean Creighton with lights out coach Steve OJ hausky has team. I think it's it sound quality football. And we've been able to get the most out of out of our players and really produce some high yielding results leflore signs a four year deal with a fifth year option and on the ice the admiral's lose to Grand Rapids three to one of the arena. "Oregon is not your every down, pick and roll guy, but he can attack on the second site get into the lane, keep the churn going, you know, that's that's something that knows or kind of started that Quin Snyder than brought to utilize that sort of an approach. Yeah, very good off ball cutter, you know? So I mean a guy that that certainly can, you know, he's not going to be at anybody's primary option, but a guy that can play well within a team concept than obviously, I'm sure you know that. You know the fact that, okay, villanovans got their pro style offense, and he's already be used to being a role player. He can plug in more easily. I don't know. I don't. I struggle with that logic a little bit. I prefer to see guys who who played at a higher level at the at the contracts and granted what he did in the national championship game can't take anything from him. Right. I mean, he rose. To the occasion, no question there, but, but it will be sure. See. So again, I I don't I in also, I mean, you know, bucks fans, let's be honest a little gun shy about being confident about first round picks given that pretty much every pick they've made in the first round. Since Janas has been, you know, ended up just basically being horrible thing that didn't work out at all, or anybody bar Asia Wilson unlikely to be in the rotation this this year. I think we probably fulfills our obligation to discuss him. Do you wanna give a little bit of a defense of Eric Bledsoe because everyone was just hating on him. So badly got cooked by Terry Rozier in that epoch game. One know just with making myriad defensive mistakes in that Boston series. Ios just looked like a dump player out there frankly, but they actually really relied on him in the regular season may be more than people realize based on if you just tuned into the bucks or in the playoff. Yeah. I mean in, I did not set out to become a. Lead so defender. But I certainly feel like I've often could've taken that role this season. You know, it's interesting. You can make a reasonable case that he was actually their second best player last year in part of that was scarcity just because they went a couple months without either dove Dover brogden in. They completely fell apart. When he was off the court. You know, they tried to run a lineups with Janas kind of the ball handler with Jason -tarian. Sterling Brown that basically devolved into Yana standing thirty feet from the basket trying to throw passes off screens to Jason Terry. I mean, there was no concept of what they were doing there that was going to make them succeed, but it definitely helped Bledsoe's on operatings let's say that much. And I think he was like a plus plus nine relative twenty was off the court, which again may be a little bit of an asterisk given given some of the injuries, but I think he was second on the team in our PM. I think he's like, thirteenth among point guards, you know, plus two point something in in that kind of, you know, a lot of people by surprise because Middleton. I think everyone agrees the second best player on this team, but Middleton. Had a really kind of up and down year kind of uneven year defensively in particular kinda didn't find three point shot till later in the year. So even though his his Ron numbers were were career numbers twenty four and four was still officiant. You know it was. It was. It was absolutely not. Maybe. I think if you kinda peel back a little bit on Middleton's year was it was not kind of peak Middleton in a lot of ways. And I think there's definitely room for him to improve this year, but with Bledsoe. Yeah. I mean, that's the kind of thing. There's a lot of frustration 'cause he's obviously not a off the dribble Steph, curry type guy or anything close to that. He's not Kemba Walker. He's not a guy that that has that sort of dynamic shooting ability that you would like to have with honest..

"Richard, what's your favorite story on story? Nori? That's such a tough question. John. I've read so many stories, myths and poems over the past ten years for story that is not easy to pick a favorite. Of course, Astro pop is very close to my heart, and I get so excited when Bertie sends me a new Astro pop story, and I get to be the first person to read what is going to happen next in the series. That is very cool. But if I had to pick a favorite and it would be between office and the liar written by birdie and the cats that walks by himself by Rudyard Kipling with all us, Burti changed the Greek myth to a rhyming poem. It is such beautiful writing at it's so sad and romantic the I think I can admit that I can't listen to it back without getting a tear in my eye at the end. The cat that walks by himself. I read almost ten years ago when my cat snuff king. He wanted his very much was only a kitchen. It reminds me also whenever I listen to it, it's such a brilliant just so story that I recommend you listen to it if you haven't already. I'm also very proud of my back voice in it. The bat only makes a very, very short appearance. So listen out for him. Oh, how lovely? Well, I'll make sure to listen to the cat that walked by himself in owner of snuff kin. Do you get nervous before you perform? I do get nervous more so before I go on stage because as always the safety nets when recording that, if I do make a mistake critical was go back and record it, but the most nervous I've been was actually before I had to go and TV I was on a quiz show and the presenter asked me not only to do an impression of Astro pop, but what she read one of the questions in the voice of asteroid pop that was extremely nerve wracking. I actually think Bert, he's got a clip of it somewhere on YouTube. Maybe he can post it up. Thanks. Very much indeed. Richard, what what do you like to do? Which I like long distance running. And I also I read stories for a website that produces free children's stories every week. Those funds. How would you do it every week? Not every about once a month, but I read the stories, not in my voice, but in the in the voice of a dog, two things, two things. It's actually three things. I, I didn't know one told me about this job. Voice over, you'll not doing allegedly. Yes. Sure thing one. Okay. So thing to what's the dog Gould. The dog is told Astro pop. He's a dog that likes to travel travel space and time thing. Three. Yes. What see sound like. Does that give you a really read, read, read the top clue in the voice of Astro puppy. "Hello and welcome to John studio where I talk to fascinating people about fascinating things. In this episode, we go into peek behind the scenes of story Nori and meet our very own Richard. Scott. Richard has been working with story Nori for the past ten years and is best known as the dog voice of all space traveling. Hound, Astro pop. You can also hear his spellbinding tones on many of our fairytales and our wicked uncle series. And I think he's particularly skilled at reading poems, which includes some of my favorite pieces of audio on story Nori Richard studied at Cambridge University before doing a year's course in class collecting at London's central school of speech and drama. Hi Richard. Thank you for joining me today. Are Jonah Frankie Sir? Richard? Can I begin by asking you what prompted you to become. I'm an actor. It really started at secondary school for me. I got cast in some big parts in school plays and developed a real love for learning lines and acting on stage when then moved to university. I really had the acting bug and tried to do at least two plays each year. I was lucky enough to act in some great theaters in Cambridge, and even to go up to the Edinburgh festival twice the second time I played pizza pan for the whole month of August. He was great seventy. Did you do any acting while you were growing up? I've two younger brothers, so we were always making up our own place and getting all teddybears involved and then performing the place to our parents at primary school. My first role was as an empire. They painted off faces with the paint from the art room. And honestly, it didn't wash off for a week. Oh, how wonderful telling the talk factory is actually one of my favorite movies. Well, all of our listeners know you have a range of amazing voices including a dog, a parrot, children adults. How do you create those characters and voices are will to Bercy he wants the stories in creates the characters, and then he sends me the stories, the characters that he creates a so vivid and imaginative. The I feel I have to do them Justice and give them a voice that reflects birdies great writing. I love reading the parrots in Astro pup, but I'll let you into a secret. It's not easy. He's so squeaky that I sometimes get a sore throat self towards, oh, I'm sorry about that. I never knew the joys and perils of bringing great stories to the world. We'll both. And I see you read the store. Is behind the microphone and you always seem very well prepared. How much preparation do you actually put into a story or poem? A preparation is really important. I need to know what I'm saying is I read the stories, but also what I'm about to say. Next to me, great storytelling is not only painting a picture of what is happening, but he's also expressing the emotion of what I felt when I first read the story of course, yes, letting skills help you another pulse of your life. Definitely. It helps massively with confidence when you're fully prepared to read the story or about to go on stage with all the lines that you need to remember in your head and you basically about to transform into a different character. If you can handle that, then you can definitely handle anything life throws at you. Wow. Well, you haven't given birth yet?.

"Like he was getting snubbed wasn't getting a wasn't getting snubbed it's not like they turned him away or anything and janas just being janas just being all right let's go next door right it wasn't like you said anything anything and i think we can all relate to being in that situation right you walk into a really busy restaurant you look around and nobody says anything to you for whatever your time limit is ten minutes fifteen minutes whatever you like all right well let's go these janas give him all the tacos everybody is saying craxi because there's been thousands of lakes and re what eight hundred so re re tweets on that tweet already doesn't take much to get social media going number three the third thing is the playoff series okay so now with the buxton celtics now tied at two games apiece it moves back to boston with game five that's coming up tomorrow night and then the brewers of course on that six game winning streak looking really good off today and then starting a road trip in kansas city tomorrow and then here's something for veterans if you have a veteran in your life no of veteran they will be able to play golf at a lot of places free over the next six weeks because tomorrow kicks off something known as sixweek pga event that's helping our patriots and what this allows as for veterans at certain golf courses to play free so tomorrow's at oakwood park golf course which is in franklin and then the week after that walkie county parks golf courses will be purchased the painting so that's a great option for the veteran in your life if they love golf cloudy tomorrow with a slight chance we're showing a high around sixty so that's pretty decent gulf weather compared to what we were going through about a week ago now we're finally getting to see some green grass and.

"Just got done talk about that match up we had last night against the milwaukee bucks and the cleveland cavaliers in which lebrun at thirty in janas had 40 i i'm not sure if any of you have seen janas play but check it out when you the chance you got you gotta check it out also covered talked about about the trade in and the cavs current woven dwayne dwayne weights tweet data he was basically just saying that but it's starting to step it up so had a good time with that i'm gonna go ahead and go into the ball family are with lawns those models current struggles and when out when i was gonna talk about this it turns out that within that same amount of time ali angelo ball the the younger son he got let's say questioned for shoplifting and china the lubaton sfor so one of the just dumb cars lawns of us lavarra said in an interview that he feels like the lakers need to leave him in a little bit longer because him in and out and being so being taken enough game is messed up his flow the puts and play a more the fourth quarter but other other than ben simmons among all rookies lonzo was averaging the most minutes per game he's playing twenty eight minutes per game and it's interest it's it's weird because for him to have the ball and be 'em out long the other night well the other night they play they play the blazers.
