"Right. Welcome to another podcast of wind down with Michael Costin Jana Kramer. I'm sorry Jana Kramer and Michael Qasim. We're never going to get a good entrance to the show. No PROBABLY NOT. But that's okay. How's Corentin lie? Free bed same old same old. And that's our show so we'll see how no we've been full of just this past week we've been crazy productive. We really have painting rooms Doing staff staff. We painted the The office painted the Barroom. We've painted the office. We Have Kate Flannery O. Today who is married to Dave the hit? Sitcom the office which is probably my top two. Probably my number one actually of all time. What's your second one Seinfeld? That's up there here. What's number two? That's sitcoms but then you have shows like you know what's number two probably Seinfeld. I what what's on what's teetering on three them. Curb your enthusiasm which is all. This is all like the same kind of stuff. Yeah which then you have. You know shows like the wire yet. Dexter you got game around. You got all that kind of stuff. But anyways and I'm I'm really excited. Talk to her because I know her from dancing with stars. Same Season No. She was just on his last season. Yeah but you know. I've never watched an episode of the office so I feel like this podcast should just be like. It's the Mike and kate show featuring I I don't know I just I. I love sweet girl. I feel like I need to see. I think the problem was I. Would you'd be watching it and I would just come in and see a few seconds of it and you'd be like laughing and looking go. I don't understand you gotTA unders. Yeah you gotta understand the characters stories but I but I like Love Seinfeld. I feel like you can watch Seinfeld and laugh at anything. Well the office is the same way if you have seen it before. So like comedy. Central always has the office in rotation constantly. So I could turn on that any moment. It can be any episode and know exactly what's going on and I'll laugh like I did the first time that's awesome. See maybe I 'cause I I really love. Kate and I'm excited to talk to her. Especially because I heard that she wall she was filming the office. She was a waitress still love that. I think that's so cool. I wonder if was it or was I- wanting to do a waitress in job last year. Did I dream? That definitely? Didn't tell me that miss waitressing like I would still do it right now. I would for fun. I mean if I have kids I probably would. I enjoy it. I love waitressing. Until didn't then you quit new. I love it I would do it I seriously. I think if I could. I just I don't know I. I love being able to help people and making their experience great for that. Maybe so crazy but I maybe I had a dream about that but I had a dream that I was applying somewhere for waitressing shop. I swear we're Kerr restaurant where your waitress at a good question? I've done all of them. I've done Joe's crab shack. I've done. Fridays I've done applebee's I've done Greek island. I've done you know I've literally done every but the only ones I haven't done where the real highest like the upper like the one we went to eleven park whatever part of the Mesh Shark. I don't think I would wanna do that kind of restaurant. I was just GonNa say you know I couldn't. It's too stuffy. We'll end said. Would you like your caveat? I couldn't even take your shoot from the hip too much. Where if you went to a restaurant like that next thing you know you don't get that because that's just disgusting That's how you'd be really honest when people came to the Wood. Ranch Grill in In La when I used to waitress there and by the way yes it's one by the Grove and funny story. I was dealing toilet paper before. Covert nineteen me. Indiana were so poor in my. Our Electric City went off. And we're stealing paper toilet paper from wood ranch because we didn't have enough money into violate toilet paper But then I booked prom night in an I quit but yeah anyways but no I would have to be. It would have to be a chill place like that and I wouldn't want to go back to. I didn't like being a bar girl. I hated that because I'm not the the the Bar Check. They're like here's a shot. And then the babe and then. I like throw it away anyways. Well I do feel. I have a lot of empathy for those people in that profession right now because of everything going on in that must that must really suck and I hope you know. They're able to find some work somewhere in and everything and hope people that have lost. Their jobs are able to do something to take care of themselves. And you know I've I've seldom do. I read comments or do we re comments about this podcast or anything really that we post. But I saw one recently when we're talking about the quarantine and someone was kind of going off on us about now. We're being insensitive or something about giving people crap being out and about lately are insensitive that what we were just being insensitive about people being out in public and we're like stay at home. Don't go out but just like anything. Yeah take it with a grain. It's all in context. Yeah take it with a grain of salt. We're not saying everyone should stay in their house and not leave it. All we understand people have to make a living and we are if you're in a central worker and you have to or or you have to make a little money when thousand percent like you know. We're not saying that everyone should stay home and I'm not. I'm not trying to defend what we're saying. I'm just trying to make it clear. So people put it in perspective that Yes we. We appreciate the fact that we've been blessing. We're in a fortunate situation where we can work from home And we're doing okay right now but we totally understand the grind of if you have to work you have to work if you have to make money out to make money. Yeah do what you do to provide for yourself and your family and stay safe so if you got to leave the house do it. But it's all about what we're talking about. Are Those people that we hear about are seeing? That are out in goofing around. Or maybe they don't have to be out or you know abusing the system right now because they are naive about the situation. That's all we're saying I was thinking again. Just everything's GonNa be taken into the right perspective and now I'm reading comments downloaded a month ago and could not get there even went up dude. How vapid and shallow Jaas? I'm sorry that it's like mean tweets. You know so toxic. Oh it's all it's all good. Everyone can have their opinions. Oh for sure are just is don't want people are actual fans listening to the US. If they are in that situation I didn't then to be felt like Isolated from from what saying I didn't want them to take it the incorrect way. Al Care the person who wrote the comment who gives it but yeah so people that care about the show and that we care about almost zanex Queen Mike's Agenda Thrives on chaos seriously can't even function on a daily basis unless she's medicated. What wars he freaks out whines cries and flat out has panic attacks. If she thinks the wind is blowing in the wrong direction she thrives on Zanex. I don't take xanax. So wow why ridiculous people are crazy. I know whatever it is what it is. I feel like the one people that do. Listen now are getting something out of it. T- there the train wreck you love to listen to or that's why you look at reviews almost for anything either five stars or wants to. There's very seldom are people because this is like anything right. Subjective people can have their opinion. It's I'm sure there's some episodes were people who are even shower wasn't my favorite one but hopefully the next week or the week before was great for them but most of the time. This is just like a movie. It's just like a you know music genres just like anything. You like what you like. And if it's in the middle they look people aren't GonNa or if you just listen to one episode like someone goes you know. Jan laughed at Mike for not hustling like. We're we crack on each other. You know but anyways I feel like at the end of the day. Hopefully we're helping people to with some of our situations. We we era dirty laundry to help. Other people You know although the other day though in therapy it's not great to have therapy sessions in quarantine. It's hard when you're on zooming. There's a way out. We're having therapy last week. And it was a great therapy session. Ten minutes last ten minutes and and you know it was like a therapist is like so what are ways the can connect together and how that got us into an argument shocking. But you know within those two minutes might get upset gets up and storms out and berm and therapist is like this is why I hate doing these. These kinds of sessions. Because now you're stuck in the house. And what is he coming back like? No yeah he's like. Is he going to come back now? He's done he's done and he goes. Well how is this? GonNa how is this going to resolve is like one or two things easy. They're gonNA be a whole the rest of the day and you know his chest out and whatever or apologized for being defensive in. We'll talk it out and it was the latter an house. Kinda cool super cool but yeah I was like but no peace and I'm GonNa go now and Greis came back from a walk and I even said to girlfriends up here to see they're going to be a good rest of the day today. Do they take your ass you better? Now you're like out with the kids and playing so caroline game. Yeah Ryan Scooter but Yeah all right well. Let's take a break and we'll come back in warm things up for.

"Jillian. Hey how are you gonNa have you on again? Hi Robbie me my gosh. Of course I was just reading your breakdown about your APP and seven minutes just sounds amazing like we were trying to figure out like what we could ask people to do right now. You know because the kids are all everything's crazy and we were like all right seven minutes. Everybody can commit to seven minutes so we use their free. You download the APP and anyone can do it at home. No equipment needed seven minutes in heaven. Concerned know about that but seven minutes. Jillian does that include like any warm up or just seven minutes start to finish. Let's go seven minutes start to finish. Let's go but the idea the hope is that you will. Maybe you like is three minute. Cardio warm up and a three minute stretch on your own. But ironically like I didn't Kinda come up with seven minutes in a vacuum. It's all based on data. So as kind of micro workouts in many workouts have risen to popularity. That number seems to be the magic number so we were like all right. It's the least barrier eventually right. There's no charge. You don't have to travel. You don't need any equipment. It's not too hard. It's not too easy. It gives people a sense of accomplishment. It's like this. Little seven minute micro break and that really kind of his like a gateway drug. You can hope it's like a gateway working to get people to do more but that does seem to be kind of the number that they can manage right now but it's not so crazy that you if you don't warm. You're going to get hurt like we're not doing Olympic lifts or planned metrics like it. It's just body weight training Calisthenics using body weight. So yes. I'd love more but it's seven minutes all in right now. Do you Kinda get frustrated. That that's the limit seven minutes because I don't want to. I hope people don't take this the wrong way but I think a seven minutes and I'm like it sounds amazing to like my to my laziness and to just also know that okay at least seven minutes but like that. Don't they recommend thirty and it's like shouldn't we all be trying to do more than that? Do you know what I mean like me well. Let's do more. I mean three years when I was younger. I used to get furious. People would say things like just take the stairs and I was like. We're talking to guarantee that I realized that like you. You know you Kinda gotTa meet people where they're act so I mean look. Yeah I've got twenty minute. Workouts THIRTY MINUTE WORKOUTS. Forty five minute workout. Sixty minute work. Which is totally unnecessary to be honest. Like twenty to thirty minutes done right four times a week will be more than more than effective. Especially when you're eating right but unfortunately or with maybe that's the wrong word because I don't WanNa make anybody feel bad but the reality is people. I think are judged overwhelmed over worked. They're intimidated and they're they've they can say anything from. I don't have the money I don't have the time. I don't have the equipment. So there's something about these little micro workouts that you think are I. I can do that. It doesn't sound horrible. It doesn't sound miserable. So yes he kinda get him in the door with that and then hopefully it does become a bait and switch. So it's like you know Grad. Let's try you know. Give me just a few or And you you hope to acclimate them introduce them get them a base level of conditioning. Get them comfortable with carving out some time And then you get like good. Get him like toity minute And and again if Don Right. Twenty minutes world work But you know you gotta you gotTa make every minute that those twenty minutes counts but that that is the goal right. Is We start with. Something's better than nothing. Get them in the door. Warm them up acclimate them and then you know then you kind of do that. Bayton switch of like all right. Now Gimme Gimme a little bit more. So basically you're seven minutes is like a way to were. There's no justifiable. Excuse around that's like we're not using weights. It doesn't cost you anything. It's only seven minutes. What excuse could somebody possibly come up with to say that? They can't do seven minutes because their kids are in school right. Wow always saying excuse. I totally I totally agree with you. And the argument there is like look. You know what you give them the ipod. You use the apparent for ten minutes or you know they jump around behind you do it with you. We have yet. I've tried that so many times and it it. It really doesn't seem to work in my household I look at my daughter. She's like you in either doing something totally wrong. And I'm like the trainer in me like No. No no no. No no no no no. No No. Don't do that. You're going to get so I finally. I'm like okay. You know what I'm GonNa work it out. Here's your IPAD and we'll play later But I I just don't think right now the concept of being perfect it anything with laughable before this moment now it's it's downright hilarious like forget it like home schooling than the other. It's just not going to be perfect. You do the best you can and if you give your kid in Ipod for ten minutes twenty minutes thirty minutes while you work out the world is not GonNa End. I totally hear you on that I do have an excuse. That is a lot that I would love to to figure out why I don't like working out by myself. I hate it like I truly don't like in an even when I if I were to go on an APP Mike trainer hasn't happened it. I'd go on there and I'm like man like you know. She says to do three rounds. And I'm like I'm good but if I had someone else in there if like my husband Mike was in the gym or if like my friends I'd be like all right guys thirty more swats like let's do this. I just don't like working out alone and it really sucks because I don't really have as many like you active like let's go get. Let's go go do it. So it's just it's like. Is that like what's wrong with me? Why like what are WHA? How can I change that like mindset? There's nothing wrong with you. There's a reason it's called fit Bam you know what I'm saying like this. There's a reason this stuff is like church for people because it does provide a sense of community and Camaraderie and we're all in this together and I mean it it. It's a huge industry group. Classes all like for a reason it's because about social component right So there's nothing wrong with you. You're you're actually wired perfectly correctly human beings designed to be social And what I would say is in this. Particular instance try. If you're the instagram live workouts. Kinda suck I started doing warn justice Sunday and thirty Pacific and in my mind and migrate. This is ridiculous like I don't know if they can hear me. I don't know if the music is like. Can you hear me over the music? Like I can't see what they're saying. I'm trying to instruct a workout like it's on a tiny little phone. I don't think this constructed the TV but you know what the people loved it because it gave them wasn't as a trainer. Of course I was annoyed. Because it's like it's not perfect as a trainer. It's like I wanna hear everything. See everything I want your feedback. I want to know what you're doing and even my APP allows that 'cause you can say too hard too easy. Don't want this move. Don't like these foods and then you'll get the response. I would give you in real life but on instagram like. I don't know what they're doing but I think people love it because even though it's not perfect is giving you a sense of like we're all this together. We're all doing this at the same time for sure. Okay I'll I'll I'll give that a shot or trying to do your friends. We OUGHT ZOOM. Zoom is going crazy now right like you do with like five friends and throw up a video that you're doing at the same time seriously. That's not bad Jillian. How you doing with this personally like obviously your profession. Your whole world is is active in doing these kinds of things. So how how are you feeling just like on a daily basis? Are you going stir crazy? I mean I know you can still get outside. But you're still limited with what you can do. You know it's interesting. I on one hand. I WanNa be like we got this and it's okay and don't worry team but on the other hand I feel like that would be false and while I know it's going to be okay and while I know that there is a great lesson and opportunity for each and every one of us to grow from this and become better. I think it's important to acknowledge that this is the ultimate like it is just such an incredible head. I don't know your got so everybody I know is having pretty intense feelings about very different things so it could be a couple. That's been married for ten years and never had a fight and now they're at each other's throats and Y- their home all day long together and it's totally bizarre. It could be that. You've lost your job where you have a hair salon with forty thousand dollars a month overhead and you can't pay your bills for the first time and you don't know where the next meal is coming from. It could be that you have older parents that you're extremely worried about. It could be that your kids are home. I mean for me. It's it's the kids it's been really not my kids. Actually here's the crazy part. My kids have actually been fine if mean feeling guilty because I still have work and in fact I have more work than ever right now. Because it's like I've got so many different businesses and some are being impacted by this badly summer doing fine like my APP. But then it's like I've gotta constantly feed that beast with new content and free content and slash the price and do all different. It's just I'm busier than ever workwise. And the other day I literally was like. Oh my God it's one thirty. I haven't seen my daughter. She's in her room in a dark room in her pajamas. Shazad lunch and I was like. Oh God like it was the worst feeling I was like. I'm neglecting her and I am. I'm ignoring her and I am. It's terrible for her. She's like not around her friend. She's this home. School thing is a joke flat out joke. At least my kids schools and they go to different schools. And it's like that to me is really messing with my head. Manav. I'm not the only mom walked with my mom's this morning and they're all struggling because they felt guilty like they weren't being good enough parents so you're not alone and thank you for sharing honesty for sure it's tough. Oh my gosh it's crazy. That's what's messed with my hat me personally. But just give yourself a little grace. Because you're not the only mom feeling that you're truly not I mean it's just.

"Apply okay so I'm really excited because today's episode. We have Mel Robbins on the podcast today. She's a motivational speaker. which I just? I love motivational speakers. I'm a big fan of like Rachel Hollis But Mel Robbins is actually one of the biggest all time motivational speakers. And how how she's been able to basically go from nothing to you know selling out big arenas and she has that five second rule which. I'm really excited to talk about but I think a lot of it is just that motivating and I'm curious for you girls. What is one thing for you that you want to get motivated debated about like what is holding you back with making you feel stock is it? Their relationship is at work as your own thing like what. What is it for you that just because I mean I have? I'll all just say I'll start like when I'm in bed. It's I have things that I WANNA do but I don't know how to like get there and then I doubt myself a mcguire can never happened. I can't do that or very similar. I just sit in bed and then I then go on instagram. And then obviously I've talked before but I'm like Oh see. They're doing it and to doing it. Which is from my point of view? I feel like you're one of the most motivated. Humans I now like you're a hustler. You and my husband had the same business manager whenever over to our business manager. He's like refers to us just like she's Hustler Janice Hustler and I do feel not myself so I I would like to hustle without the doubt. There's nothing that let's hustle doubtless hustle. What about you less? I think I need to I want. I'm stuck in figuring out what's next for me. You know as my kids get older and require less of me and less day to day in pretty soon. We'll have a driver so that means I'm not even a taxi much anymore. You're not an UBER. So now Mike what. Oh what do I do next and with with all that I've been through in the last year I want to do something with that And figure out but in Mike you. I'm like okay. I see on instagram. All these people doing what I WANNA do. But how do I get there because well she was a chose a TV reporter before she did that. So she's got AH connections that I don't have you know so I've in so then I do nothing So I don't I don't pass. I think fear really earliest. Just what makes me just kind of paralyses me. I'm like well. I don't doubt that I could do something. Someone what else is already doing. And do it differently. 'cause I just really feel like we're pretty christ-centered household so for me. I'm just like God. There's a path and that's what you do and anything anything that's meant for. You always find you. That's kind of like go to slogan in our house it's meant for you always find you so but it is. I just have this. I sometimes sometimes. This is one thing I actually one of the questions. I wanted to ask. Miles a cow. Do you not let other people say because you can be as tough as you wanna be but and and you know like Burnett will sailly the the famous quote when you're in the arena and you play in the arena and I get all of that and I get really hyped up but then there's like one really harsh comment and that just I'm not made I don't think to be in the spotlight. So that's what's always kind of kept me from doing what I've always wanted to do. Because I can't take I could never do do what Jim does ever. Yeah I agree with that. I don't know how either because you're still human right. Yeah Yeah and no matter. How ridiculous the comment? It would be hard for me to get past passed that would for me. It would be very unmotivating. It would take all the wind out of my sails and I don't know that I would recover Probably just bag it in and I think because I know there's a lot of stuff out there right now I think Say this. It's it's hard because I've put myself in that situation to have criticism but also to be because we have been so open like for example. When I had mentioned the twenty four hour rule Last episode got slaughtered in the media. Because you know it's like so you're saying someone Oh can lie and but I I wasn't you know what I was even saying in that is when someone has a character defect of lying all the time. Sometimes they just need a space to be like. Oh crap I was like I need to go back and fix it. So that they're not scared and they don't hold onto it and they don't justify that is something that works for us but anything that I ever say or do it.

"I just turn my mic. Oh, there's always a favorite like, there's always a favorite. No matter. What? So when you guys walked out for a second, Mark. And I were talking about big love the first wife is always in like what I call pole position. She always has like a little more Jews a little bit more. He's the boss y you guys need to watch big love. And then I jump back to me. I feel like there's always a favorite sometimes your Mike back on Michael. He turned it off. Why are you mad at me? Oh, no. Back home. It was a little I missed What it. I believe in monogamy. And you're like, really, yeah. Really come on. Well, come on. If you really believe democracy when cheat come on. Well, so I can never say I can never say the rest of my life. I believe in monogamy now. Okay. I was making jokes jokes to a certain extent. That was not a joke. Well, ASA was I laughed. Well, she said before this is obviously going to be really triggering for her. Right. But some jabs the jabs might come on. I'm I'm just saying I'd like we we want to be able to talk about this stuff and not feel like I can't say anything without. Being being jabbed every time. That's all. I'm saying. I sorry. I'm sorry. I see that. And I'm sorry. And I'm sorry triggering, and I apologize that you're upset. And then it sugaring Sarah jabbed do is. I didn't mean to jab. I I was making a joke, but is very triggering. When you say that that's what you believe in. But yet you don't live that are Dula that didn't live that occur. Even that's different. Okay. So you don't live there. And I didn't live that totally different cat currently presently. For the last two and a half years. I love that. That sounds good. Sometimes Michael I'm just going to throw one thing in their humor or sarcasm can be gentle way of healing. So sometimes, but it's also can be your way of of hiding feelings behind something. Well, with my feeling is I'm like, we'll don't say that. What would you rather say, what do you believe in Michael, I believe that? I was a piece of no I would have said like, I know you might not believe is because of my past. But I believe in you know, as you this is triggering situation. But I would like to say though, wouldn't it be easier just have done that? Instead like, I mean is that something where you could you could do that. I don't know. We're talking about us. I thought we were talking about the people in your used aspirin question. What do you believe in? I my personal belief is monogamy, right? Yes. I've been live by that. Right. So that's what's triggering. I understand that. I believe you, Michael. I believe you. I believe me. I believe you to everyone. Look at me. I'm just saying silent on the quarterback. I I thought that he is any heating. I think it's interesting..

"I just. Yeah. Yeah. The and then or if the woman was more interested in him you have to get super jealous. I would go absolutely to be. So and so did you like well so here here it is for me. And this is a testament to Ashley because coming in as the second woman. It's kind of like easy, you know, she built his whole family and life in children. I can't imagine being the first wife and doing that. And then being open arms to me. So that's how gracious she is. I'm just kind of like oh here. I am paying me kids guys. You know, it's it's been so much easier for me. So she are you going to have kids with Dmitri. I mean, I would love to and you would be okay with that. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. Did the TV element? Make this. Way easier. I would think that a little bit of fame a little bit of notoriety. I'm sure you've got haters, but like having more public did that make it easier. You mean to easier to find or easier to sort of live in a society that maybe isn't as accepting of this. Well, I think it's probably if you try it out everyone's got a different perspective for me. It never met. It it just because I just it just as I am going to live this way, regardless of your approval. I don't need your your confirmation. Like, this is what's going to happen? So no, it didn't make it didn't change anything per se bought more awareness to it, and quite frankly, probably more scrutiny. So I have to that really defend but educate if people really want to understand why what then it's more that conversation. That's been brought forward we're close to have. That mindset of this is what a family dynamic looks like for you guys. And he actually said, you studied anthropology and everything, but for Dmitri like what was it was it, your upbringing was it religious beliefs. It just something you realize on your own. Yes. Ended up realizing them alone own not religious solve spiritual than her. They out there for sure doing it for me. It's about feminine centrisly. I feel like the the ability to take care and labor. This real world is is the man is the job of a man what I mean, I think women should be able to express the creative freedom. So if I can take care of you know, work and bills and all that good jazz. They can birth epic things, and that could be in a form of children, of course, or it could be in the context of companies or projects or just passion projects could be. What have what if what if she wanted to have another, man? Yes. So I mean, and she can speak to this as well. Right for us. I mean at changes the dynamic this is how this is. Well, because what we're doing this, call polygamy or religion e. Uh specifically if we have another man it would change to Polly Andris poly-amorous. So there are different relational contracts. We agreed to and understood we're going to do polygamy so one masculine energy multiple feminine energies. And if that changes, that's fine will probably kick crying screaming just part aways. That's not what we initially. Well, what did she just wants to like because if you get to sleep with two women if she wants to go out and have a, you know, screw another dude. Why why is that a problem that she's not going to mess up that scenario? But if I mean, if you're getting it, I feel like that's a little well, it depends on the relationship as Dmitri saying like for our relationship specifically we signed up for the feminine aspect of it. And me personally, I'm not interested in another guy. I believe that imminent energy bills in creates whereas masculine energy is destructive. And that's why when you put a bunch of men in a room, they usually tear shit up. You know, it's like so that's not what I'm into. And so it just it wouldn't work for our family dynamic that does not. You mean that it's not possible. Other people to live that way. It's just not, you know, it's not about sexual parody either. It's not like what you get to have sex with accidents. I want sex with wi- like let's not the not the measure to say, well, you get to have some..

"Okay. The next guests, but it's like. Risks. I really our time saying risks is I'm like, it's a it sounds like an echo risks. It's very strange. I don't like it. Anyways. I'm going to be really honest. I might be a little quiet in this next interview. Oh, great. I'm super triggered. Oh. I'm not I want to know everything. But I think it's I'm going to be very I'm I'm judgmental over it. And I'm triggered about it. Well, and speak on that. Because his interesting when I was watching that like a promo video that Tori, had sent one of the couples. I don't remember when it was talking about sister wives. Yes. One of the couples, which one was it basically the same kind of deal, the the potential sister wife and the husband were texting and the wife was reading their conversation. And it basically kind of seemed like they were sexting a little bit. And the wife was like this is this feels like cheating to me. But so in the white in the wife was like, I'm not actually I don't think I'm okay with this was this Dimitri. And Ashley this is not that meet your national. This is another couple. I don't remember her on board is a wife. Well, I don't know how this is the teaser or this season. Can you say the basics of this? This is a guy married to multiple women. It's polygamy right now. He's married to Ashley. But Vanessa is here, and he is courting Vanessa to be the sister wife. Right. But we actually sisters just multiple is legally polygamy is not legal in any state. Right. But so there cannot be another Lake City or Utah. No, they know their thing is actually even stricter where you cannot have a marriage license with another person. But even in Utah. You cannot have another dolt living with you that has some type of marital relationship with you in the same house. So they how do they have these TV shows? Then I I'm sorry. I am so confused. You did you all ever watch big love? No. It wasn't amazingly. Good show on HBO didn't Bill. Paxton core. Bill Paxton he died. I know God bless his soul. He had three wives. And they each had different houses all next to each other. But they were always in fear of getting caught. Being arrested rested. TV show. They've a TV show about this. So the cops can go to their house. They not going on some just I'm super confused. Just so I know where you stand Sara where do you stand on this? I'm like, I'm not kidding. I'm just a little confused. So this man is married to all these women or he's just dating these women. He's married to one word Ashley. And then the whole concept is that they bring in another female as another quote unquote, wife like acts like a wife, but legally is not. So that's the thing. I don't ask them. How do they y Ringling must be a wife. So legally legally, they're not allowed to be stand on this, Michael. What's your stance on it? Oh, I don't believe in polygamy. Why have question for you, though? They're basically just having an open affair, so you believe in closed, doors affairs. I mean, obviously before but open a fair. So we're going to open relationship because he bore consensual. There's on an affair if it's if she agree if Ashley agrees, I'm just being devil's advocate and I'm hunt..

She's like where do I start Anik than just walk on out? No. I was going to say did you guys fight a lot? When you like did you fight about being married before you're married? I wanna get married. I wanna get marry. Yeah. And then and then you got married, and then we got married, and then I just I'm so let's just start officing. Really stubborn love so same. He is like I feel like he's like a genius. He's the smartest person. I know. And anytime, he he like reads thousands of books and right now every time I feel like he's into a book or he's like right now. He's reading on grain brain of heard of that. Okay. So now every time I eat something. He's staring in my face. Oh, you alone every battle eat food. Okay. He's like there's Putin. And Adam there's this and that and anytime he reads something or like learns a new way of doing something he'll like preach, and he'll like sit down and want to teach me and like preach it to me. And I'm like, can you please? Let me learn things on my own. I like, yeah. It's enough. Just watching you do the right thing. I can kind of grass. I want to do a to follow you. But when he tries to console me like you should do it like this do with this, and you should do this. I'm just like oh my God. Like, it's just pushing me further and further from it like when you try to force me to do some. Yeah. That's super fresh dot. That's definitely one thing. That really pisses me up. I like wanna be able to learn on my own. I'm that type of person I pick up on whatever. I can I eat off of his energy. I watch what he's doing. And it makes me wanna do it. But when he sits me down and tries to like make me re the they'd look I highlighted this in this job, and he'll highlight it so now he's gotten to the point where he'll go to bed and he'll be reading at night. When I wake up there's a book on the counter with like, it's all highlighted. So I should yet up highlighting rings and giving right? He's like, I know you're not gonna pick up a book and read it. So I just highlighted and just leave it out. If you want to read it you could read it like, oh my God. So that's there's that. I love that. You're you're really sweet do you drink wine you drink? We can be friends for real. And Larry just told me yesterday. Actually that a glass of red wine a days, really good for you. Good. Yes. Says she's all everybody present. Did you know? No, God lake Stevens of beyond say's girlfriend Giannis dirty jewelers. Something about high nineties watch. So good. Do you think it's something about the individual? Whether it's being a female, the non Khan where something in their life, some kind of traumatic event where they need like they feel like they're the answer for somebody needs help. There's something I make up there's something in through in their fourth Email. She had never liked felt the way like whatever they were like, maybe because he was relying on her like he was feeling safe and comfortable like she needed to feel needed essentially, you know. So maybe that validates the certain things in somebody that makes you feel vulnerable. Yeah. And then it kinda what you said too. I thought that'd be interesting that appeal like ooh, his dangerous area. That sounds sexy. But no, I'm like straight. I would be in fear. We'll I mean tie is like I mean, he's oh, but three out of. "Every Friday my gosh. Now. Ever watched. Not I want to watch it. It's so weird. Because I mean, it's weird for multitude of reasons like the way the show came about with. I mean, it wasn't something that we or I for say, I guess because he can really do it because I didn't go speaking it out. They found us, and it's a complete whirlwind. And in a Friday night, come around. And I'm like how many watching myself on television. I'm sure what is going on. Think in some of the stuff I'm like, oh, did I really say that I'm going to go hide now? And how do you deal with the negative judgmental people that you know, are thinking what the hell is wrong with this lady. People people people were judgmental, especially as idea. Yeah. You know, I'm guilty of the same would I speak somebody out online to speak negatively of them without ever having conversations. No, absolutely not. And my thing the negativity like, obviously, I know that it's going to be there. People are going to have again, but let them have them again. I'm only concerned with who I'm going to bed with that night. And really like. You know, let them brace positively life is hard enough as it is without you know, people talking. Yeah. Let's let's be nice, and let's all get along. And how each other do better? Well, then I love that outlook. So I mean, I'm I'm rooting for you guys. Does your happy? That's that's all that matters in. Yeah. Dang, girl, maybe being happy and like being good to one another. And I don't think another. I mean, people in general, it'd be good one another and. I could do for for so won't Caitlyn. Love you and best of luck to you. And and and Matt and I'm now, I'm super intrigues. I'm definitely going to watch and let after lockup. So thank you for coming on our show. We really appreciate it. That's what's so fun. Thank you. I really didn't know what to say because I was super uncomfortable with I because I have so many full. No, I don't want to like because I didn't. Because if when I when Amy I told me about this idea like me what the hell's wrong with her. She's crazy. I saying all these things. She's so then what she's talking she sounded so nice. Whereas like, I I felt bad for being so judgmental. And then I who might have fricken judging anybody, I know. But like are you ever scare like I wanted to be like do you get scared when you go to sleep like, I don't know. He hit it was possession. It was fine roast. What does that mean could be could be weapon or could be drug related what Robert Downey junior went to prison for he went to prison? An I would marry am. I mean, once you're in like, you know, like there's gotta be some like he's seen some s age. Yeah. Finding someone in prison. I mean, again, even have an idea at you, you he she found Matt imprisoned to me. That's just so insane. In so crazy, and she's got to have the craziest messed up life. But then when she's talking it's like again, who the hell are we to judge very the hell are we and for everyone listening right now probably things like that that girls crazy who the hell are we to judge? I really to say because I'm like I I mean look at our situation situation. Relationship is moving fast. People think you're crazy for coming on a podcast and arguing with a joke, and we wrote in your crazy for saying with the for six years and say people are obsessed with love after long now, I've really like intrigued watching it like crazy that now for judging her because she sounds so sweet she has no family. I'm like God. I I I I was that troll. No budging. Maybe it's like kind of one of the like as she was saying that I don't know Downey junior did go to prison jail or prison. I don't know. The difference prison is like no joke. Right. He was in no jokes same as this guy. So everybody does deserve a second chance because look at what he'd done, right? I mean, the guy that I was married to that went to prison for the things that he did to me. I remember I he found a girl in prison, and I was like who'd ever want to date him. He's awful..

"So her daughter is going to grow up. Are you sleep liking whites and black? Yeah. That's what I'm a little maybe blues. Why can't girls were Jolie's blue close up nothing against that? No. I don't either. I'm just saying if she grows up. Okay. So like, let's say you grow up only listening to like a certain type of music, you're only going to like that music. You get what I'm saying? So like right by her saying like, I'm gonna let my daughter choose. We'll you're really not because you're not like you're putting blue and right in front of if it's not pink. And you're going to prepare a room blue. Then you're then you're saying, hey, like blue what makes you so angry about this? Because all of this talk about the sexual identity and everything I like people they might not feel like the gender. They are. I have no issue with that. But when it comes to a child and their bio their born in their biological parts, are male or female that is black and white that is how your higher power, whoever you choose to believe in science dilution guide, whatever that is how you were created biologically scientifically created. So now all of a sudden, it's oh, no you he was born with the Pena's. But you let him decide if he wants a penis. What a lot of people are going to disagree with you, a please they will. And that's fine. And that's everybody can be entitled to their own feelings and opinion. But as we progress maybe as a human race. You try looking at it, maybe a little more openly or the different perspec- Burma meows something if just like the whole topic we're talking about with painting room pink versus paint room blue. So if you have a son that's born. And you say are I'm not going to call you a boy, I'm gonna call you a child or thing or or whatever and. Aren't you? Aren't you really steering your your son or your daughter in a opposite direction? Like you. They don't they're not going to know what's identify with. They don't even know they don't even know well enough until they're older. So how what are you supposed to do when you win Jolie comes to us? And we say, hey, you're beautiful little girl. Oh, no. I'm sorry. You're beautiful little child. Yeah. And she wants to wear a dress. Oh, joe. You don't have to wear a dress. You can wear you can wear this wants to as she goes. I think that's fine. I think it's very complicated. I don't. That my only did she do this with her boys or she just doing what the girl question. I'm actually wondering. And I will do this get this. So that you can because I think that you're you have your opinion, everybody's entitled to it. I think if we had a parent in here that has a child that was bought biologically born a girl, but identifies as a boy, he then you could I think also what they go through or the CIA so time out I think that's different than what he's saying. I what I heard you say that if for some reason, let's say jas, obviously, we were raising him as a boy, and we're calling him are beautiful little boy and blues and all those things. But if he comes to us when he is ten years old and says, mommy, and daddy I feel like I'm a girl that you're not going to. You're gonna love him. You you love. That's what you you're just saying. He's just saying to not persuade them in the very beginning to don't treat them how they biologically are created from an early age, then they're not gonna know let me give you an NCAA make up their mind. If you don't then you're making them on a four. And then this is this is by the way, this is how he acts when we argue. So he doesn't like. Active and. Having an opinion's. Let me ask you question. I'm going to throw out an example, that's a little you know, to the side. And then you guys can discuss it. So my little niece Chelsea who is a dispersion her lover. And I said, oh, Chelsea you're so cute, and she said anti I don't wanna be cute. I want to be athlete. So that's not anything to do with gender. But like it really was thought provoking for me because she's so into gymnastics that she doesn't want me to go. You're so cute, so cute. She wants to be athletic better..

"You see you have to eat this and do this, and that leads to this restrictive life that is so miserable and causes so much more stress in an already really stressful process. So, you know, doing things that kind of can get us through and knowing that like, you might need to lean on the people around you and reaching out when you need help and finding some like knowing that it is because it's going to be stressful like finding that kind of support network, whatever it is for you. And maybe that's not a person maybe that's writing in a journal. But something that kind of can get you through the process. So. I guess. I I it's just so hard because I just I feel I mean, sometimes I feel guilty. Because you know, now, we have the people are always asked me, you know, how do you stay positive and in the moment, and I say to them try to say positive, but in the moment, I couldn't even stay positive because you don't know what the outcome is going to be now, I can look at the outcome. Be like, oh now we have two beautiful kids. So I guess I I know what you're trying to say is you're trying to say to stay centered. But it's just so hard when it really hurt you want that family, and then you want to be hopeful. Right. Like, you don't wanna be a pessimist going in the into it. And yet at the same time like the hopeful is so scary because it leaves you so vulnerable, and you're just kind of open to that fact that is just not going to work. And I think you know, depending on how old you are. And what the circumstances are sometimes the chance that it's going to work as a low. And so how do you kind of manage kind of going through this entire process without just being like emotionally crushed at the end. I I don't really know. Anyway, they're kind of really mitigate that and kind of keep that from happening. Prepare you for that roller coaster physically and emotionally until you go through. And knowing that I think is nuts actually, huge is that there are so many ups and downs of like, oh, you're so happy because you have this many eggs in like, oh, you're devastated. The next day because the fertilization is poor. And then they call you the next day, and they say oh embryos are developing. And then oh. Normal. It's like the obstinate downs. And that's in downs. That's really, you know, it's it's draining situation. So we actually got the baseball children Gina became pregnant naturally for both news times. It was one month after a failed IVF cycle is that common from your experience. It ha- having all the time. And you know, we don't think that it's like it has actually anything to do with IBS because like the IDS process doesn't really do anything to kind of change. What's going to happen in the next cycle? But we see it all the time. I'm taking the progesterone and things he my system gone. Like, why don't you stop faking it it's gone in that affect doesn't kind of carry over to the next month? And I did get pregnant though each time. Yeah. New I mean, like with with IBS, so maybe CG in my system. Then you have to start you on your next cycle. Like, you won't get your period until all that. It's like kind of all those hormones like kind of washed out of your body but tiny that your period. I was I mean, it's probably yes. Is it common that like it would happen so closely to both IBM cycles and the answer is obviously. No. But we see it all the time. I mean, literally just takes one good thing. One good sperm. "So it's like, even if you have that agreement the beginning is their leeway to change. Also, how do you bring it up without putting the pressure on him because he wanted to be a surprise. Not pressure. Six years is not pressure. In my opinion. Remains not pressure. You that's expected fifteen years. Six years five years four years been for years. Hey, five years, I think is a window life where it's time to get off the pot or produce. Yeah. Take a big dumper get out Janez win about three to six months. So that is my window. But if you do bring it up, I feel like it delays things. I feel like if I was dating somebody. And they said, hey, we should get married. I feel like even planning on proposing. "And so it's just it's frustrating. We're also worried about what other people think that's the bigger issue. I think is that there's the quote that says you wouldn't worry so much about what other people think if you realize how little they think about you. Everyone thinks about themselves. They're not thinking about you. Right. But we worry about over to think of me to think of an idiot. Did they jerk? Yeah. Just they don't think anything about you. Right. It's more of people thinking thinking that way that people are thinking about them or is it. Are we that way? Because in the past people have said what they meant and people get offended like too, sensitive and take it personal. It's like, oh, you want me every back out. I was trying to help you like, geez. I'll just trying to be here and support you call me down. But you don't want me do at g okay, fine. You're bit right. You see your social media? Oh my gosh. I have the craziest juicier she's the worst. I mean, I don't think she has such. But I mean, again, I agree with you. I think that's the bigger issue about the fact that why do we care people think? But I do I mean you care just in therapy. The other day you wanted us to do a different to resolve an issue different. So that you didn't think our friends thought this way, you know, for sure so it's like we. So we care about what people think finger also depend do you ever have moments like in that situation where you're just in a move that. You don't care you'll say it. I don't think I could get myself there because I really as as frustrated as I was and annoyed. I just can't say it. I I I'm fearing my Pap smear and three months because. I don't want her touch me. I'm fine with the Pap smear. I don't want her rubbing my effing back. I'm I'll have my moments where outweigh but also have tons don't care at all today playing golf with Justin Garrett. There's like a seventy year old man in front of us that was taking time on T box. And finally, we need to hurry up to seventy dollars. Well, you're mean. So mean, so we have Patty Sanger or coming in millionaire matchmaker, and apparently she's a psychic now. So I'm Jay. Jill of all trades. Jack, jackets joking. We have to explain your jokes. I still don't get it. But that's fine. So oh my gosh. Moving on. Let's talk about sleep number shell. And how excited we are about the all the pillows. I mean. Okay. I truly I am excited because we do have a lack of pillows and certain other rooms many couples disagree when it comes to mattress fine, which thing seems like a small thing. But because number Jan, and I don't have to argue long discussions about this. Because she gets her firmer side, which he loves and I love soft cushy side of the mattress. So because of our sleep number where to adjust it to.

"I grew up in Utah. I grew up the mountain was my backyard up running around my husband's from midtown Manhattan. So like. Very different. But yeah, I mean, we used to go out in the desert and cut Geos open. I've always just been around it. I noticed that difference in my life with working with them. Like, in what sense in a sense of you know, I would bring him to work if I had an important meeting years ago when I was in the corporate space of. That was either courage building or that was super grounding. That would help me speak clearly end. Yes. Like, maybe it was just the idea of it almost like a placebo effect. But truthfully like, I don't really think it matters. Like if it works for you coda CBO facts like that's great. You know, I think it's really just kind of getting you to that that next face that you're trying to move into whatever form, hopefully, you know. Own spiritual leaf, right? Like, there's no evidence of a certain higher power being more prominent or truthful than another. But you believe in it. It just is. So I can understand why someone could be into something. And yet, we don't see it that way. But if you believe in it, and that's all a matter. Help through in your dreams and encouragement, and yeah, yeah. It's like one tool in the toolbox to start like the crystals gonna make all your dreams. Come true. Yeah. Not. And I would never say that you know, what I mean? I think it's more of like, it becomes almost a question of mine of matter. Right. Becomes a question of tuning your mind, and your focus and your intention to what it is that you want obviously, you have to take that actionable steps towards that. You can't just sit in bed and rubber crystal think that like ever imagine. Yeah. We're working our listeners. Find julie. Where like are you? What else are you doing? What else am I doing? I'm working on a book this year. Yeah. On the line. The line's been amazing spine the lines. The line is a star star so online. It's a star collective A S T A R A. Yep. "You know, he probably was like I. Yeah. I know you say this, but we're gonna get married like, I know we're gonna be together. Like, it's going to come basically deal with it. I just think to Janice point like women will say that in until are the men's feet is are really held to the fire. We might not act on it. So I think this whole scenario probably held his feet to the fire enough where maybe hopefully, he's realizing the backlash how much attention there is around this. If even pays attention to it. And because my thing is like I haven't talked to him or anything. But I would say dude she did ask for what she needed. She's I mean, she's begging you like telling you wanna spend your life with her. Do it guys head please be a guy I need. To know this. Is there any chance he's not doing it yet because of the weird ultimatum? So now, he's going to do it when because it's not ultimate absolute see, and I totally disagree. The dude I got. I'm not saying that he's purposely doing that. But that could absolutely because that's something. I would do. Really I was in. I was in a similar situation to this really for your wife, automated, you not not like I'm going to leave. But she said. How long dating dating we were friends for like a decade, and we had been dating for like a year and a half two years. And she said, do you think we'll get married? Wherever the wind takes us. Classic guys. I wanna wait till I'm making like five or six million dollars a year before I do I want you have the perfect, and she's like I want to get married and have kids if that's not going to happen. We should end this, and I'm like, okay. And then we'd like I got a ring a month later because that really the fear of her rows like I need fire to your exactly which is where Jaren too, but it's tricky because to Amy's point. Initially with Janna. There was some I held some kind of resentment towards that. Because it wasn't. I felt granted they've been together. He really feel rushed. But he doesn't feel like maybe it's on his time, or at least he has no control. So he's just kind of giving in. Okay, I'm giving you whatever you need here. And then there's no spark in it. Or there's no spontaneous eighty and. There's there's point there is some. Getting the ring within the next six months, and she needs to not speak of it for the next six months. I think there's so much on it. Because maybe he also wants it to be a surprise. I don't know. Yeah. He did say that too. He's like, well, you knew it was going to happen. We'll yeah. Because I asked for it though. Like, that's what she wants. That's what we asked for what you want ask for what you need to her. She tries or whether it came when she asked for it. So I haven't feels disrespectful to me thing. Is that sorry it does he respect her enough to do what she wanted. And I'm going down the wormhole. I'd love to hear Janna versus Michael on this year. We govern. Okay. Let's say he did it. He gave the ring on her timely mazing her family and friends would have been married huge celebration. They had something to bring into the new year. He's going to wonder because what I'm learning is when we get what we want. We want something more when we get what we want we want something more. So would she have always wondered did he only do it? Because of the tomato is a better way to start their mayor. Of course, do women even care that they do it based on tomato Janna. I'm sorry, repeat the question. Michael do if if women, okay? Your species. Okay. Gives a male species ultimatum, we act on that. Then what was your what did you say?.
