Construction Worker Killed in Newton, Mass. by Collapsed Concrete Wall
"Accident this morning in Newton. One worker killed We get details from WBC's James RoHaas. It was in the backyard of this house that's under construction, where the concrete wall came crashing down, leading to one person being killed. Doing the fire chief Gino Lucchetti says It was just before eight o'clock when they got the call here on Winchester Street. We started out rescue operations into our rescue operations. We realized I had a certain time that the person under the wall was not viable and it turned into a recovery operation. The street was closed for hours as the Fire department police and OSHA investigated. It's not clear what caused the wall to collapse.

Person hospitalized after car slams into health center in Roxbury, Boston

Now we are watching the temperatures associated with this system because we are expecting them eventually to get above the freezing mark and close to 40 here in Boston, which will mean the snow will ultimately be rain, But several communities the temperature is going to be stuck around freezing, which could cause a little bit of a problem. This is not a storm that's going to be hanging around by any means. So whatever comes out of the sky, not gonna be much. Going to start to clear out overnight tonight as temperatures drop back into the twenties and a pretty decent looking day for a change tomorrow to kick off the weekend. We'll see some sunshine and 40 for a high We are watching another winter storm system that could affect us on Super Bowl Sunday with a good chance there is going to be some accumulating snow with it right now. The track indicates that south of Boston could see four or five inches of snow north of town. Slightly less than that. Right now. Food pantry coming to Boston's Hyde Park
"Pantry, preparing to open up in Hyde Park organizer's spelling WBC's James RoHaas. There was still a very high demand for assistance with food. Snowstorm has created some precarious conditions on the road as well. I saw more slush on 93 making my way up over here, but when I got to 95 it got ice here. So you know, got to be careful. Fenway Park to become second mass COVID-19 vaccination site in Massachusetts

Now, the state says the ballpark is scheduled to administer 500 vaccines a day by appointment, and they plan to ramp that up to 1000 a day for those in phase one priority groups. This site is expected to stay open through the beginning of the baseball season in April, with the state saying it's working with the city to find a longer tumor location down the road in Boston, Fenway, the fifth Major League Baseball ballpark, to announce that this acting as a mass vaccination site, joining others, like Citi Field in New York and Dodger Stadium in L. A.
