Juicy Scoop - Ep 301 - Lea Black weighs in on Housewives, Flipping Out and Murder
They had the MacDonald has got the shoe six. When you're on the go choose Cisco is in a show. No, she talks Holly tales from real life business. Naked to see real data cereal. You'll be a dead dead. Back to the number one tabloid rely pod. Listen. Panda McDonald shoop system. Hello. And welcome to juicy scoop two thousand nineteen happy new year to have their how is it that you have a brand new podcast on New Year's day because I'm a Christian thought you'd enjoy this really juicy interview with Leah black. Lemme tell you Lieb lack, you know, her from Miami real health Miami in flipping out, and she does have quite the juicy scoop to share and shared so much. I was laughing throughout this entire interview as well as her sharing things that she's never shared before. So enjoy happy new year. Hello Leah black hauling from Miami. How are you? Our year. I'm good. I'm good lots of questions for you today. Ready? I am the interesting person, you know, I guess you do have questions. What about who we gonna talk about? Okay. Well, one the first juiciest stories. I want to talk about is the connection to your jeweler. Jeffrey rackover. Can you talk about that? Oh, yeah. When you wanna know? Well, I tell the audience how I know him the listeners. So I was at your house we've known each other for over ten years, and you have a home in Miami as well as this home in the Hollywood hills, which a lot of people have seen on flipping out totally gorgeous. Well, this time it was your other one which was just down the street, but you'll always always had a very modern gorgeous house overlooking being credible views of the Hollywood hills. So I was it was two days before Kim Kardashians. Wedding to Kris Humphries, the one that lasted seventy three days. And I met your jeweler Jeffrey who's very very tad with very white giant teeth. And he and you're like, oh, you should lead. How they're some Jewish where all the Kim Kardashian wetter. You're so he's like oh you like now I had never barred euless before. So the next day. I met him at the peninsula hotel. And I got like three solid Bengal, diving bracelets, huge diamond earrings. Like, I mean. I think the whole set was worth like one hundred and eighty thousand dollars that I had to sign a thing for show salvos. Yes. And so then I was so scared. I like I think I wore earrings in my ears at night because I was terrified. But I had to say that I had a safe promise that had safe in that they'd be living in the safe when it wasn't on my body. And repeater was like do not tweet about these jewels or anything until after return them like we don't need to be. Then. And then when all the stuff happened with Kim credit options robbery, I'm like, yes. So many people are showing what they have on social media and where they're going. It's a really smart thing that I didn't do that. But anyway, that's where Benham and then a couple years ago this article the news came out that he had adopted this guy who as Dopp did his his son, even the guy was over twenty one. So he took the Rackover name and the kid was partying when night with some people some people came back to this to their place, and he ended up killing this guy in and dismembering him this kid from Hofstra. And the reason Jeffrey wreck over the the quote unquote adopted data's involved is because they're saying that there's video of him. So that appears to be helping with the cleanup so part through. So there was a try. And the the kid was convicted and Jaffray was totally exonerated that. He had no part of it. So his role in it was he did it up kid could set up an apartment in the building. And he did help him get a job and put him into school. He his he says he was just trying to help this way. Word kid find his way kid got mixed up in obviously drugs with the crowd. And this happened in the middle ni- Jeffrey was sleeping video proves that. He did know anything about it in see it didn't enter the hallway didn't enter the room. He had nothing to do with it. But because of the rack over name, it was all over the press forever and always, but Jeffrey had absolutely nothing to do with it and cut all ties with him after it happened, but to tragedy, I mean, no, it's a horrible tragedy. Because the victim was this kid that I believe went to Hofstra. And his parents were obviously distraught and his parents are I guess the ones that are going after Jeff. Frey and the parents are really wealthy. So they're like, we're not suing like suing for wrongful death. And they're like we're not suing for money. But we we find him to be responsible. But it is it is very weird because they live in the same building. But not the same place. So. How the real once all the evidence came out in court rather than just what you read in the press, and you know, the gossip about it once evidence off came out than the parents realize that Jeffrey didn't have anything to do with it. No. But I just saw they are currently suing still. Oh, I think that that was settles. We fed up the Jeff for lack over here with the cash. I thought I saw a recent article that it was still continuing. But maybe maybe not. I hope hope you're right. Just in that you want it to be settled appearance. Did come to the conclusion as did the court as anyone that followed the testimony that the video proves it. Jeffrey had nothing to do with it with the murder, and or covering they never thought he had anything to do with the murder. They thought covering up again, how covered up help dispose of the body helped give him supplies to clean up is what they were saying. Yeah. About that's different between what's reported in the press in what people say gos- about what's actually admitted into court as testimony and the video of the building proves that he didn't help with the cover up either. So there you go. That's the story. Have you remained friendly with him YoM so friendly with because I don't think you kick people when they're down, and I don't Hugh blame people for other people's transgressions on the other hand, I think maybe he did use poor judgment in inviting this kid into his life so fast in getting them off the streets and things like that. And I'm sure he would say the same. But I don't hold him responsible for what happened. But I think it's just regretful for everybody. You know, NASO ju many people think that it was more than just a father son relationship, and that it was sort of romantic and instead of marrying him. He had Dopp -ted him. Do you think that's true? I I never have asking that question. He denies it. I know that kid was always trying to date somebody always trying to pick up chicks. And I know that. They doubled dated picked up together is a so I have no reason to believe that that's true. But I never asked him. Oh, so so cash who works with me. She just pulled up from November eighteenth of this year that the data the victim in the jeweler to the stars case sues parents for alleged accomplices. So that was November eighteenth. So I don't know. Maybe I maybe it is maybe they came back after I don't know. I don't really know the status, I do know and believe that the parents realize that generate really had nothing to do with it. But they were angry, and they wanted, you know, they want to listen if I was your kid. What would you do you wanna blame somebody you want? Everybody to get in trouble. You know, like, there's no it's such a horrible thing. And that was just one of the ways they well. The most horrible thing about it was that something happened where they him and this other guide like knocked him out. And then was like, oh my God. We're going to get so much trouble for just knocking them out. Like he was still alive. We better just finish him off. So he doesn't tell that. We knocked them out. Like, it's really the whole story behind. It is like. Saddest part because it wasn't like a premeditated thing. It was just like a, you know, horrible decision after horrible decision cranking and doing grog and apparently. I can't think of his name Jimmy had a prior record from Florida. And apparently, according to the testimony of the other ones the other two he didn't testify don't think they panicked because one of them had knocked him out in not sure which one it was they panicked in. You know, Jimmy was like I don't wanna go to jail again. And they just panicked over reacting. They were on drugs, and is so horrible horrible story. There is no nothing. Good about this story. Here it end. Yes. And you are the wife of a very prominent trial defense attorney, and that's how you met for people that don't know you were you were a juror on one of his trials Roy's trials, but you didn't really have any contact with them until after the trial ended cracked, well, ROY as a criminal and civil the law firm in Miami. And I have for twenty something years. Had skin care company more than that. And I had an office in Miami. And I had an office. I had offices in Puerto Rico, and frog and Switzerland. I had three offices in Texas. I had offices all over Dominican Republic. And I had an office in Miami. So I lived in Palm Beach, but because I travel all the time, and I got called on a trial there and the very last second. They picked me I tried everything to get out of it. Because you know, I was trying to work and support mice fell twenty million other employees, and I got picked for the trial. But then I didn't see ROY again until. I'm gonna say just a little less than a year afterwards. Actually, the trial was in December. And we were sequestered so horse had no interaction with him. Then. And then swimmers equate you were sequestered like you had delivered a different hotel. Yeah. Yeah. All the jury had to check in the hotel until the trial was over. And you couldn't read any newspapers. You couldn't get any news from outside the courtroom, and you couldn't talk anybody on the phone that that those the security guard more monitoring. So you had no outside information about the trial. So I just went did my trial eleven or twelve days that out of the trial went back to my normal life in bat the sometime in September October whenever Hurricane Andrew was was in my came to check on my office in Miami, and to cbo's flooded in what the damned his work, and there was no electricity anywhere. So anybody and everybody that had connections went to the same one place that had had electrically in generators. Everyone was just there and I met him there, and he recognized me from the trial. We start talking then. So that's how I really met him and the trial was very juicy. Will publicized trial? Right. It was involved. The Kennedy bright William Kennedy Smith. Yeah. William Kennedy Smith was student or intern to be a doctor one of the other one of the Kennedy. I've forget he's his mother was Smith one of the Smiths in his dad was offered who in. Anyway, he went on a date, but he's a nephew of JFK a net. Resident knack will write nephew or whatever? But his he was a nephew of Senator Hannity that to the nasty love. Okay. So he went on a date and Palm Beach with a woman named Patty and picked her up in a bar, and they at went on a day in she later Hughes him date rent, and then ROY was representing the Kennedy family, and they televise the trial on court TV where Steve brand at the time had court TV. And I don't even think I I didn't even know it was televised. Because we were Quested I don't even know that high profile because we were Quested I didn't know really much about it because I had been traveling all over the world promoting my skin care products in I wasn't really paying that much. Attention in got got put on this jury, and it turned out to be that jury, and then the jury acquitted in like like about an hour, and and then that was intimate. And then, you know, the press was just all over everybody. I mean, they were just like at my door like twenty people on at minute. I couldn't breathe and said they were calling calling calling out how everyone of those press people. Mysel- number. I don't know how we still have it today, which they still call me today. If there's any you'll Gaza and just unbelievable like to pick up my phone, Larry King, pick up my phone, Dan, rather just shopping. So anyway, so a side note to that. So I tell my warrior, you know, I don't really at that time. I wasn't interested in the only television. I was doing was HSEN or infomercials for my business, or you know, scripted television to promote my business. I wasn't interested in that whole shit storm TV in reality TV, I worked all the time. So I finally to get him off by back. I said I'd do one show in my lawyer is decided I would do the Donahue show so Donahue show. And would you believe ROY was on the show at the same time? So it was on that show with him. But I just saw him on his show in left. So I didn't really ever actually have a conversation with him other than the Donahue show and ask question at this time, you're a single woman. Dating woman or what I was in a relationship with a guy that had been relationship with relaunch time that's to see. So you weren't but you were not feeling any tingles for ROY like at the Donahue green room or something anything I was thinking nerd lawyer nine to five net. I a lawyer thing would never cross my mind. I'm a creative free spirit kind of girl. So I wouldn't think of a corporate lawyer type of guy wasn't on my radar. Nor hints. I mean it wasn't injury. Within later when I met him in Miami. I was single and he was single in. So we start going out and had he ever been married before. Yeah. He had been married for I don't know how long, but even so he was divorced. And then that was it, and you guys have been together for how long now. I mean over twenty years twenty two twenty three maybe something that howling been married. Yeah, about we'll I got married in ninety four so figured out. That's a lot longer than twenty two years on his twenty five years of marriage won't get to go. Get a twenty five declaw right away. Why don't you tell me along right over to Harry Winston? Well, what what's your date? What's your actual date of wedding in was October of two thousand and so then October two thousand nineteen then we'll be the twenty five years. Some glad you're better with math in your head than I am. Okay. Well, yeah, it's pretty big deal. The mastro's they and I'll get the diamond we'll be above behalf. So what are the things we talk on the phone a lot and one of the things we were talking about? And I said you let me get you on the show 'cause I wanted just generally talk about. When we talk about housewives in general, one of the things that I find so interesting is really the emotional stress. It takes on these women that decide to export expose their lives and more importantly, like their husbands their kids people that didn't necessarily sign up for it. But have to be a part of it. And and you tell me how like for two weeks. You were so depressed. I couldn't even get out of your bed because you felt so deceived by your Miami cast mates. Do you wanna tell share a little about that? When we're talking about that. Well, you know, I had never I had never seen a housewife show before I signed on. So let's just start there and Roy's law part resulted. Don't sign on your crazy. What's wrong with you? But then my friend Inger was like, yeah. You should do it and came back and said, no doubt, the friend of her said don't do it. So it was on offense about it. But then you know, I had two people literally crying and begging me to do it. They wanted to be on the show. So when I said, I wasn't gonna do it. Then that arson and the other one couldn't be on the show. So I was like oh God. Now, I'm like feeling guilty. I'll just do it. What the hell I didn't really know what I was getting into. So when I went into the show, I went in bet, you know, what I'm gonna live my life in the cameras following me around. I don't care. I'm not hiding anything. I'm not doing anything phrasing. Just follow me. I fit the show in my life. I didn't make my life into the show. So I had no idea amount of calculated manipulating behind the scenes backstabbing conniving, you know, stock that these girls were disconnecting in season one. It wasn't supposed to be a housewife show. So it really wasn't that way. It was just kinda normal in in. You know, some of it was it wasn't as bad than season two. So wait hold on so season one. They tried to say it was supposed to be like about what charities cooking show, idol readjust budget, girl. Some girls getting together. Once they shot a bunch of mine is socialized. Socialite type of thing. Course, they didn't have any socialites on there except for me so start there. But anyway. Let's just start there. Well, more Larson was on there. And I guess she is but other than that the rest of I mean knew who could pick them out of a lineup. So no, we're not. And I really don't know the answer is Lawrence up Pippen, the one that is now on best friends with Kim and Courtney and on Kardashians. All the time friends with him. Yes. And she's married Audy Pippen, and he was a famous baseball basketball player, and they had a place Fort Lauderdale, and they also lived in Chicago because he played for Chicago when he retired. He did commentary coach your whatever he was a ACOG. Oh, but they came back and forth Fort Lauderdale is the weather force in the kids were in school there, and I'm losses socially. So laura. Our in Christie was on their first season, which I had I knew Christie socially was I had been to her kids birthday parties, we have kids the same age. But that was back when they were four or five years old. So those were the two that I really kinda socialite I socialize a little bit Larson. I kinda knew Christie and then number would crew Christie was which was she the blonde for the free spirit. She looks kind of like Kelly Bensimon, but a lot not not tall like that. But that same. The hair should she only one season the first season just in the first season. That's not remember her. Okay. Go on. And so then, you know. So then the someone happened is the first season was it was very only six weeks. It was a very short thirty forty five minute one hour reunion. It was just kinda test the water. So they brought the show back as a real time. This fund the format was going to be actually housewives. They brought in new production team because the first world it was the production team. The first one had gotten pregnant with flat on her back. Couldn't get out of the bed. This she was pregnant so they brought in a new production team. So now the girls have had a taste of a little bit of fame attention. And I think they just went got drunk on it. I don't know what to he's crazy. So they brought in Lisa brought in our Joanna whom I got along great with and still have the relationship with because they were normal and our and our Yana was was from the beginning. Right. I say your name right Adriana. What's her name Adrian, I got her on the show? But. Because she was so broke. She couldn't even pair kid's school to wish and she was begging frying needed the money. So I got her on ship, and then she got a little bit of a taste of fame. And she just went I don't know she lost it as a gay male. They all mean girls, and that's why I think the show probably didn't make past season three because it just became by season season. Two was actually pretty good. We had put invading ratings for really parable. They were way up. There were like one point eight of the time that was really good and Joanna was bored to slam us model, and she was fabulous. And, you know, Lisa, you know, was kind of funny cute, Maryland plastic surgeon, you know, they like that married of the plastic surgeon thing so she was that one. And then they they like that celebrity things. So Joanna was kind of that one because she was she was a model she'd been on a cover magazines remodeling, and then you know, Larsen on Christie didn't come back so that kinda replaced them. And then it was the rest of the cast in the neighbor on you know, one other person, I think it was and so everybody got a little. Bit of a taste of the fame. And they just you know, who season two was good. I weren't really. It was the the ratings were good the show is pretty organic. And it was pretty good. But by season three I had basically called out one of the girls on dislikes, and she just decided that she was just gonna make a mean girl team, and they all became Ingles piled on me. And they were conniving behind my back having meetings behind my back to writing scripts of what they were gonna say who was gonna take me down on. This one was gonna take me down that I you know, because I had a big handbag premier miam- bags as she tried the first thing out of his I got you didn't like fashion, you know, and you know, everything I get the skin-care out. You know, that's just everything I get they just were tearing down tearing it up. And I thought they're just trying to get air time. You know, they just wanna be seen on television. Not think that much of it wasn't until after the reunion that I realize if they had been plotting. Planning. And meaning and riding out who was going to say why and who was gonna take me down. It was a whole to take down the entire third season. And of course, the show was renewed because who wants to sit and watch of me people try to take out somebody like me who knows more than forgotten more than ever know. And they're just acting like any us. So that's what happened. Juicy scoopers. I know you want to own your own icon, ick luxury item. But you're just a scooper. And so then that that was really hurtful, though, when you said, you said right after it ended or you saw it stating not what was Java's stating about it was seen when island into it. I thought you know, what I can make this girl I can do swimsuit line for her this one I could do. I wanted to do a fitness line for her this one. I thought I could do something else for her. So I had these ideas it had a brand these world market them because I've been doing that my whole life, and I had the best of intentions all the while while they're being so to face to face. They're planning to Terry down behind my back. So what was so devastating about? It was one the huge missed opportunity that everyone kissed glue up. But more importantly was the fact that there are people in the universe whose lives revolve around tearing somebody else down, especially somebody like me who runs a charity twenty years that has a big heart. That helps everybody that I can and had the best intentions for them. And it just shattered my whole belief system about goodness in the world. It was like oh my God. They'll do on that just on television. You know, or? Are to get more air time. I mean, it was just such a devastating expose of how far people will go just for either tension or same or a just revealed who they were at their core. And they were dark, and it was it was very depressing just very depressing time for me because I was like how they dress up when they go out for the smile. Face people think they're nice people in underneath there. The nast. His name is plotting one was having one of them was paying Pete someone to do Santamaria on me. What's to rea-? It's a Cuban. They would they burn Amanda MLS. It's a human animal sacrifice where you going kill chickens. Burnham can put a heck son people. This is how dark that group. All done. Hold on. How many how did you? Find out did a chicken die in vain for Lia black did to a year or two after the show. I was at the S L S hotel for their opening on the beach and one of the girls from season one. I'll leave it at that. She said, I didn't know that you knew at this woman. I said, I don't she said. Well, I've always wanted to tell you this. This is a girl I had a conflict with in really we weren't close. She just said, I've always wanted to tell you this. But it really wasn't my place. But she said, my mother's really good friends with this woman. And she I went over to her house in your picture and the drag needs picture was on her desk, and I sent to her are you doing a job for Leah. And I'm like what is a job and she's like. Witchcraft like Maria like a job. And I said we'll wouldn't talking about. She said, well, so the woman said to me, no, I'm doing that for so. And so she wants land this guy off the show, and she wants me to do job on this. So this woman was doing job on me. And then might hold on the way the Citra works is that would cake job on me. I don't know what job that was. But I know that during that same season these girls went to see this psychic. And so they definitely knew her and did stuff with her. So then I then I heard from my Cuban friend that lives in south Miami. That knows everybody. She has a store that they were in their talking that one of them was gonna have Santa Maria, Don on. So they had one heck me in the same girl had somebody else doing Santa re on me, uneven. Oh, santeria was. So the other are I had a ride the. The Metro Rail or something for the skull project when I picked him up at the school project because mom, they're over there doing Santa I get it. The Carter in. Fai on chickens. It's a Cuban tradition. That's what they do. They do it. Sometimes do it for good things, sometimes forbath aches. But I'm just telling you this way you hold on. What do they do to the chicken they cut off its head? Or what had you know, what they do exactly James do north? I do what do they do? Rachel they cut the head off. And then they speak in tongues. And they take the blood don't they take the blood and do something with the broad. Rub. It on different people like Indians. And they do the stance of this assault retinal. They looted all. And then he put pins in you. Let's hall. So apparently the woman that did the job on me does good jobs for people. Are she can do bad job for people? So she thought she was doing a good job for this girl getting the off show. And then that same girl was having somebody do ambi-. So my point is this is how dark they were. This is how dark they were one of them didn't have Galler for gas, and I paid her kids tuition and raise enough money for the school to keep kidding stole for free. And she was a part of the plot. The other one I done nothing, but donate everything your husband ever did his life wanted to be a politics, and she was one of them. So all these girls just out like doing. Normal things like normal people do their porting. They were sitting in a dress store in south Miami. That I know of the woman known the woman fifteen years, and she said, oh my God. They would come in here in they would plot all the stuff, and I'm like, why can't be this? And she said we thought that was part of the show. We thought they were writing the show thought they was this is all we thought we didn't know. And I'm like, you're kidding me. You should worry me. So this is what I'm saying. This is how dark some people go to get on TV to get a little bit of attention to get some fame to get out there on the surface. They just go out and borrow breast is in shoes put tape on the bottom of high tag run around at rich in then go home and try to get you quarters together cakes. And it's all it just I mean, it's just insane. How some of them are in the show that are sustainable are the shows that have real people with role live with row careers with real life experiences that organic and all. The rest of don't make it. Okay. This is what I think first of all dying laughing over here. The whole thing is just amazing. I think we know why the show didn't come back check in. Now. We know everybody always wondered why didn't real housewives of Miami came back, and you say Dr thing to do. Absolutely had something to do with the job went a little sideways. Job was to get you off the show, but keep the show going and chicken blood messages got mixed up. And they can't hold me. And the reason one of the reasons to get rid of me was because I had exposed one of these girls for all of our line. And the other reason get rid of me because I had a bigger house bigger diamonds. Better husband better at everything. And they were jealous I dealt. I'm not a time. And they were jealous in back on season one. I didn't even wear all my big diamonds because I didn't want to show off. And where big I'm in. When there we're in costing Jordan from the bottom of Jack in the box. So I was playing. You know? And that's what I did the first season the second season, the vision step it up yourself when in my closet. They saw million dollars where the Birkin bags are like bring Birkin bags. I'm like, okay, fine. I'll just be myself. And then these girls got insanely jealous. I didn't even know they were jealous. How I know. I'm not now. Now says she lived it. Do you want? Do you watch any of the franchises? Now, you know because I do like podcast shameless aglow with Lia may podcast every every Wednesday. So because I've done my podcast now for two and a half years. I watched the show talking talk about him on the podcast. But I find myself watching them less and less because I'm kind of you know, it's like what point but I do follow some of them. And you know, I think the ones that a raw in our Ganic or the ones that are sustainable. I knew that show wasn't coming back during the reunion when season three during the reunion. I knew at the end of that reunion. There was a very small chance that show coming back and Joanna said the show is not coming back. I can guarantee you, and she went to Brooklyn said she wanted out of her contract because she said she knew it wasn't coming back. Anyway. So why tire up from doing something else? And I wrote a nasty letter to the producers, which they'd. Against me for the rest of my life, which is fine. But it was all every word in. It was true. And I didn't think it was coming back with these other girls. Tele was what was the what was the gist of your nasty letter? About a God. I'd have I've probably have it somewhere file everything. I have no idea, but it was probably something to defect that they let these girls hijack the show something to that effect. And that it wasn't sustainable, and it wasn't interesting. Then it was phony and fake and you have to build something. It has to have a solid foundation of you. Don't have a solid foundation is not sustainable. I just gave my opinion. So of the franchises. Like, what do we charge your favorite to watch? And you think are the most sustainable I love Beverly Hills only because I had that house A-List Hollywood in its familiar to me, and I know a lot of the girls on there. So I like that because I know the girls in in no the neighborhood, and I know the restaurants, and I lived there and people come to my house there. So I like it for that reason in a like, you know, the glamour in the elegance in the I like the backdrop of it will Miami had beautiful backdrops. I mean, I will say to producers were amazing capturing the gorgeous of Miami saw. I like that for that reason. And I do think that sometimes of the the the shows more exciting than other times. But for me, even if it's just pretty not fighting it still great show 'cause it's so beautiful Meyer. Most of the women I like Orange County 'cause I think it's very raw in very organic. And I think that Shannon and Kelly have just really brought me live to that show. I mean, they're just both so reactive in so out there, and I've always kind of kept up with New York because I do think that I mean, those girls are just young says, I mean, they're just got got gossiping twenty four seven going nine hundred miles an hour. You can't get a word in. Nobody. I know could survive on that show. But a New Yorker, let's fasts senate's fun is just funny. You know, which is fine Durant. His hilarious. Just fun. So I don't watch the other Soma. I I totally agree with everything you just said. But do you think because when you talked about hell all the women? Got jealous of you. It kinda remind me of Lisa Vanna pump. She aside from Kyle. She has you know. Well, we'll Lisa Renna has a strong marriage too. But she's a very strong marriage strong businesses close relationship with her kids, you know, very successful in her own, right. You know, beautiful homes and all that. And now you we've heard the rumors that they've turned on her or that she stepped back and didn't film the second half of the season. And we don't know if she's coming back bubbly hills or not, but do feel do you think that that is some of it where the girls turning on her is that she's Queen bee? And they're jealous of that necessarily think it's jealousy with her because of the following. I think all of those girls have really great lives in their own right? Actually, they do. They're not miserable sitting home sucking their Trump. I'm trying to get attention or on a red carpet, and they're known to be like they all have a career like, but what's her name the perform, she's tearing? Yeah. Touring and singing and dancing in renaissance. Always had a big career, you know, so they all kind of have something of their own in their own identities. And they have money in the have, you know, influence in their famous. So I don't know so much now they might be jealous that you know, she gets a spin off show or the she gets maybe a little gets branded with the Queen of the show that maybe that rubs little bit. But not I don't think it's to the point that causes the riffs that they're having. I think what causes the rifts that they're having is my diagnosis. And you know, I love the Andhra palms. I love Renna. I I like all the girls outside of decorative opinion. It just seems to me that rent that van pump does not like conflict she tries to avoid conflict. But she's smart enough. To know you've gotta. Have some conflict to keep the house going. So she kinda gets the conflict going without her fingerprints on it. And the girls are sick of her looking like, you know, the innocent one all the time when they're kinda taken the heat. That's kinda my read on it. And I don't know if it's true. That's an excellent read on it. Actually, I do. Now, you were also in flipping out. We saw you allot, and we saw your place, and you, you know, you've been friends with Jeff engage Jenny for as long as I have we've gone to the parties at your house all together. And you know, I know that it was hard because a lot of people were like why were you laughing during that fight? But I think what I want to say. And then you can join is is that it was. So, you know. In the moment, and so bizarre that sometimes I think you do kind of laugh because you can't you couldn't believe that. It was that they were being real in this angry at each other. Why why what was your feeling because you were laughing? It was a lot of different things number one. You know, when they put it on the screen, and they show the front seat in the back seating. See everybody's reaction at once is a whole lot different when you're sitting in the front seat. You can't see what's going on in the backseat. Uh-huh. That she was crying in the beginning. I did as time went on. But I did not know that she's crying in the beginning. When I realized she was crying. Then I said to Jeff, you know, Jeb you can't call her effing liar. You need take that back. I did say that. But I didn't know she was at upset. But you're right. I was laughing because of the insanity of it. I mean, Jeff is hitting his head on the steering. Well, and pulling his hair out and going crazy. And it was it was just funny. It was a Seinfeld moment. And I'm sorry that it was expensive Jenny. But honestly, I mean, she should have just jumped in and beat the hell up in because it was funny. He was overreacting to the point of ridiculousness. So that's really I was really laughing at him and the situation and the circumstance, but I didn't realize she was crying in the back seat in the minute Idid. I did try to Idid town to lay off of her. And then when we went into the store, I said, you know, Johnny. She said, I said, I know how you feel you know, I said ROY makes fun of me. And all my bright idea. My big projects, and they don't. Come to fruition any roles is is. And so I get it. How you all these things, you know, that you wanna do gyp making light of my get it on their ROY. Does it to me? I try to console her. She suggest doesn't respect me out. No. He definitely respects, you know, respect to try to consoler in the store, but the. But anybody could make about is that I was laughing while she was crying. You know, what I don't really get shit of ten thousand on social media, whom I don't know will never know and have never seen. It will never see. Thank somebody was. I mean, if that's I've ever committed you in the death penalty. I don't know say I eat, and I think that's what again being unreality TV. Whether you're a housewife or doing something, you probably thought when you agreed to have him redo, your kitchen and featured you probably thought finally a show that won't involve drama because we've been on flipping out to and very easy, very, easy and simple. They didn't nothing that was the point. He's been showcase my kitchen. He's going to do it for me without charging me. All I gotta do show up and laugh a couple of times in shock. My get this is the best gig in town. And then it turns into another shit show. Nothing really to do with. All this stuff was brewing with them for years. Okay. It bubbled to the top on my clock fine. But nothing to do with the fact they had all these hidden resentments, miss communications, withheld communications all at it. Just bubbled to the top on my clock. But you know, I didn't take sides. I told Jeff when he was wrong. I told her when she was wrong, and I told him when he was right? And I told her when she was right. I didn't have a dog in the fine. I'm not getting paid for that show on the payroll getting involved in it. I'm not getting involved in it. So I was just like there for the ride literally in the car. Always am. And then, you know, people interpreted like, she's laughing. She's crying. I didn't have my view remain. Ron I didn't know she was crying in the minute. I found out. She did I told Jeff over does anyone say I'll Lienz upper Jenny end her that yet. But I do I do think it's very death. What's interesting about reality TV, and then talking to someone after because I'm sure no one I didn't see one person. Right. Wait, a minute Leah couldn't see the backseat. But we're seeing it because the cameras featured on Leah and another cameras featured on the backseat. That's what I find. So interesting after the back, you know, I I can't tell you what Jenny things now. But I can guarantee you one thing after that Harinder she came to my house and cried, and I hugged her and consoled her, and I talked on the phone the next day for two hours and try to cheer her up and told her don't do anything you're gonna. Regret, and it's all going to be okay. And you guys are gonna get back together. And don't just don't do anything right now. Just take some time off let it breed on consoled her for an hour. My house in two hours on the phone the next day, and we left on great terms. So I don't know what it's like now. But I can just tell you sheet it and taken sell to the way acted in the car now, maybe she's read all the pylons. And she wants maybe does. Now, I don't know. But no, I don't I don't think she has any problem with higher reacted on the show at all. She was there. I never want. I've had her back the whole time at her back. The only thing she did that I didn't have her back on because it was in a role professional role of doing a seminar for business corporation, which done a thousand times. And when I went around the room, and she said, I'm embarrassed by being Jeff assistant that gave me, you know, a cringe moment where I literally had to catch my breath. But I if I I didn't wanna make look. Bad in. I didn't wanna bear, sir. Didn't want to escalate it. So I just kinda tried to keep going, but I saw the smoke come out of Jeff's ears, and I knew right then that it was gonna be at some point. There was going to be a confrontation about it. And so you know, that was the one thing that looking back. I just wish you wouldn't have said it, and I wish that somehow we would just started out right than in there. Instead of letting him stew on it during lunch as he was doing on all time. He was like, you're embarrassed me. My assistant you cut this great thing, you're working for days awake for months out of the what are you talking about sides of it? You know that you're exactly right. It was it was that moment. And I think we've all been in the situations where you know, someone's like, hey, literally said, hey, this is a safe space. Let's really talk. And I think we've all been at those jobs or in the situations where on other days, we would. Would have not been so honest with the group knowing no, this really isn't totally the place to be honest. Not only cameras, but it is work in this. And I think sometimes that day, you know, she just decide wait hold on that day. I think she just felt yuppie what hundred percent honest, and didn't really think about it almost like if this had happened in this is just my opinion. Like, I just think things hit people on certain days. And if they'd hit if that meaning was maybe on the following Friday or the previous Monday, she might have been like, well what I would like is a little more this. And there would be ended probably wouldn't even made the cut of the show. But it was like that moment where and I've been there too. We're almost like the words are coming out of your mouth, and you're like, oh, this is going to change things. And then there was no track going back. But see the other thing too. Was you know, from her point of view it which the audience doesn't know is seven months, our eight months or whatever. Of the year she's out knocking doors trying to hit spreads trying to get on shows whatever she's trying to do. And so for her coming in being someone's assistant, in her mind is like, you know, I could I'm I can do more than this. Do you know what I mean in? So she didn't I don't think it came out the way, she meant it. But you know, what my said to them when they were when she was complaining last year about being the assistant. I said, you know, may her VIP year don't call decision. However, be the IP on CR and have her be the Leah's on between you and your richest of clients have be the one that holds her hand calls in Texas on everyday since the flowers and handles reveal people because she has amazing people skills job, Jeff that you don't have. Now, I said that. But of course, none of that was Amish show Brian. And that's a great suggestion. That's the perfect suggestion at who. I mean who wouldn't have somebody like that that has I mean patients of job calm demeanor. People skills can talk to anybody. You know, it would have been perfect role for her. But none, of course, into that came out on the show only came out on the show. I was laughing. I'm always laughing. He will need to get over that. Okay. Let me go to a couple of questions before you go that we have here on what's the most money you've ever spent in a day on shopping me. I'm not a shopper. I'm not a shopper I wear jeans in basically t shirts FARs, but I will say on jewelry a lot and six on jewelry, and you kind of treat jewelry as real investments is what I've gathered from talking to you. I do I treat it as an investment. But I also love it weird. Enjoy it. Yes. But I, but I don't make fullish. I mean hostile joy, I have a holy a black costume jewelry line on my website. I mean that stop I'll buy all day long is twenty dollars ten dollars fifteen dollars throw it in the suitcase give it away giving you a bunch of these. But my real jewelry. I consider that. I don't make a bad investment. I buy something for wholesaler below what I think it's gonna be worth -vivor need to dump it in. I rent that Miami housewives. Are there any that you keep in touch with today? You know, I keep up with Joanna a little bit. I keep up with Lisa little bit. Keep I haven't kept up lar- says much as I used to. I haven't kept up with Christie as much as I used to. And the other side. I went I want toxic energy in my life. Right. Okay. What are some secrets of being fabulous at any age? Good skin care. You know, I believe in that. No sun on your face, drink a lot of water. Don't drink a lot of liquor news. Leeann black dot com in care. Speaking of that. And you you bid into skin care business forever way before you know, you met ROY. And and you had a little bit of tiff with Heather do bro because she beat some snarky remark about. Let me tell you something. She is just beyond it should. She only missing about her Bailey. Wardrobe is is a crown, you know, a crown made of of what rocks. I mean, certainly not dominance. But if she goes on line, and I had this product call sudden, you okay in I've had it since the eighties, and it's NY out human, which is an aloe. Vera gel and you mix at any on your face, and it dries like them hard mass. But what I have is clinical studies to prove that it lifts tones firms time to scan reduces the poor size. If you put it on Hafner, face Hafer, your John's going to be tied or your eyebrows. Gonna be lifted your faces lifted on that side, you put it on twenty minutes. Now, it's a ass. So it dries heart, and you have to take it off gently with water. She Yvonne listen to this. And she says, well, I have. This new product called whatever the hell it's called. And it does all these things which the claims that I have clinical scientific studies to prove my product does. And she said, but I tried this product that does that it's called sudden Neo then it was just algal. And I couldn't get it off. My I had to scrub it off. And it was like, so I have a better version of it. And I'm like, you're an idiot number one. You don't have an original idea in your brain. 'cause you had a copy my product number two. You have where your clinical studies because you don't just come out with a product and get clinical studies overnight. I had twenty damn years applicable scientific studies. We're your before actors where you're does demoniac who is your customer base all that. And you don't have it and you have to go on there. And and dump on my product said youth, which was breakthrough technology in the industry and has been sold all over the world. You don't have to go on there and criticize. To brag about your product that you knocked off and try to make it better. I want you to do that. So I tweeted her you know, what she done what? She tweets back and says, oh, I didn't know what your product and there's room for everybody. I'm like well, number one. If you're really in the skin care industry, you would have known. It's my product number one and number two there is room for plenty of people that actually do the work not some house what that goes on TV, and all of a sudden has a name, so they come up with a widget and number three than take that. Off the air. She still had that been wanting over and over and over again, she should've called Yvonne and said, I've insulted someone I didn't mean to I didn't mean to moon their product and you need to take it off the air. But she's too lazy to get on her quote private plane and fly out there and make a new video that tells the truth, she just let's keep running that propaganda. Video to try to make me look bad to make yourself look better. I'm sorry. I don't have any room for people like that. I'm I'm Brad on everybody's product. You know, I try to promote everybody, and she she's just like, no that's no class that someone that acts like that that tries to pretend they're plaza NATs like trash. That's what. Well, thanks that use. Okay. Here's another one. What's the weirdest thing you've ever seen in Hollywood? Let's just say use been twenty years of your life creating audit. As a breakthrough product. He's been millions of dollars on research and development in some little housewife. That's never made a pod to your life is all set. So already on your product. How insulting is mine time is lift off that year's she doesn't have the right to come on there and criticize my product. I agree going to criticize holiday, I don't like your copy. I agree. I have another question. What's the weirdest thing? You've ever seen in Hollywood. You've had some more about the I would like to talk about the weird person that I met at your party. Can I say that you have some characters come to your parties Leah? Yeah. Well, you know, Frankie's always dressed in ballitser, Frankie 'Grande. But I have this other guy that comes with usually with the biggest Birkin bag you'd like this is fifty that is they usually got rhinestones all over them are blit or something said customized on the air. I mean, if you go to the abbey, you'll see some pretty while about tiny that tiny male psychic that out. Norman, y'all the conflict later, I mean, come on. He's. He gets that thing out. And he reads the universe, and you ask questions that he gives you the answer. He can let me tell you something about him. He's accurate. He predicts things they come out to be true unloved him. I think he's. He lives in a mansion the path of this what you'll love it. So he lives in a mansion in the Palisades, his brother dieting, one hundred million dollars to the Jewish Federation. He's got a yacht in the new order wherever I came to my house one of those parties into reading, and when he finished my friend faubion said to do I do I you. Twenty dollars. Just because he likes it only heat, and he gave some housewife or you or somebody some little weird liquid that he makes a yeah. Put it in the ocean outside of your home. And the next day. It went for murky Brown to completely clear travel on. I don't know if it was force it one. Water looked like a default aquamarine. After he treated it with one ounce of his stuff and least he doesn't practice array. At least he does positive stuff. Let's see. Oh, someone said I'm interested in how you cope as trial, lawyers wife, I m one and my husband is so intense in all things it could be stressful. How do you handle your hubby and deal with his intense lawyer, Dr well somehow being the bedside manner because the clients ROY has note, he just he says my jobs to keep them out of jail. So if they have personal problems all call me, and I get so invested in all their problem if they're going to jail, and they're going to be able to go to college, and how long you're going to be in jail. It is stressful on the other hand he works all the time when he's in the middle of a trial. So it gives me all the time to do all I wanna do. So that part of it's free. But it's it's stressful because you get invested now when he does a civil trial and in somebody's gonna lose a billion dollars or million dollars or five hundred million dollars. Whatever we're gonna lose that isn't really bother me because I feel like people that have billion dollars can afford to lose five hundred dollars. But when they're going to jail, you know. You know, especially if they're going to I know that judge is gonna throw the book at them, and they're gonna go like twenty five years or something, it's horrible. And I ride then they got Joan right? I'm every week. And then I send them all the time. It becomes a whole project. Probably wrote people in jail than anybody. One of the mutual friends. We have is Joe Francis. Have you talked to him lately? Not in a while. But you know, seem to be happy in Mexico with the two twin with the twins with the girlfriend. Why whatever but on the other hand, I don't care what he says. You know, he's gotta be missing ally. He'll never convince the otherwise I know now because he can't can't come back. This is Joe Francis of girls gone wild. The court system to come back, and he doesn't wanna face it this person. I remember Alexa, and she's one of the people that you say you don't keep in touch with. But someone wrote what does she think of Alexa, and the divorce and then death death of Herman. And now, she's an new relationship. Do you know anything about that? Well, I loved Herman. I thought her guy he's always, Bob. I think it was a I think it was a heart attack was the official cause of death. But you know, it, but you know, I have I don't have very much respect for her finer to be very to face superficial. So, you know, so she's got another toy. And she was the pretty blonde that had the magazine whose son was in an accident or something. Yeah. Right. Yes. And that's terrible situation. Yeah. He is. I guess he must be like about I'm gonna guess he's nineteen now twenty two or three years older than our day. Yeah. He's you know at his hand is mentally handicapped from it.
