Let's Talk About These UFOs
"For from this. Nbc news article. There's some really interesting points that i wanted to share. So suddenly it looks like senator. Scientists the pentagon and president's former cia director's and nasa officials wall street executives silicon valley investors are starting to talk openly about the issue with. Ufo's in a way that maybe they weren't as apparent or as public about it before and what's interesting is there's actually a statement made by former president barack obama who told late night tv host. James corden what is true. And i'm actually being serious here is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don't know exactly what they are. So president barack obama said that recently and then also Just historically culturally. Ufo's have been something of american culture topic of concern. I think millions of people have questions about it. Article even says about one. Third of americans think that they've been visited by alien spacecraft. And that's according to gallup so again all of this in our in the lindsay final welcome dot com so to summarize that it seems like there's more activity especially from conversation perspective around ufl is and that people don't know what's going on apparently all right to really tie not in that the biggest thing is is that this is the first time where government is going the record and saying that you sightings exists okay. It's just these last few months that the pentagon and some other agencies they've actually recognized that you have sightings before they never commented people opposed people. She plays Becky Conner, Alicia Goranson. She's 47 today. First, Becky not second. Becky from Scrubs, Donald Phase on 47 as well. Carson Daly from the voice and Today's show he is 48 today. You're on the today show, like Stop doing last call. Yeah, I gave up on NBC late night. Like, First of all, you got to get through Jimmy Fallon. And after that you got to get through Seth Meyers. I'm out. Sorry. Like Uh, every one of those guys or both of those guys just have these sort of I don't know. Mhm. Insincere personalities, and I can't stand that same thing that James Corden has like Stephen Colbert at least think that he's being sincere half the time. Everyone else, though. Half the time. Yeah, well, he's a goofball. So him and like Jimmy, um Yeah. Jimbo Kimball. Uh, Kimble Kimble is a storm show thing. Oh, I'm sorry. But the two of them they're goofballs. So, yeah, they're going to be insincere from time. Time for being stupid, But you at least get a sense that they're genuine people. Kimmel seems the one of most of the late night guy seems the most sincere. Fallon is the one that just thinks everyone's hysterical no matter what, and just has Just no spine. Yeah. Um, uh, What's his name? Colbert might kiss a little ass, but at the same time they all have to kiss a little. Yeah, he's not as just ridiculous about it. As cordon or, uh, Jimmy Fallon or even Seth Myers. Seth Meyers. I just I don't get I've never actually watched the show like I think I want to say I caught a few minutes of it a few years ago and It made sense that they instead of making him into a talk show host, which is what they tried to do In the beginning, They just said, You know what? Let's just go back to what he was good at, which was basically the weekend update on Saturday night Live and just make that his show. The entire show is weekend UPDATE, which makes For for what he did. It makes sense. Go with his talents. But maybe anyway, um Yes. Most of them just kind of But they don't take part with me. I think part of what we're missing is what we miss with, Uh It's like the balance between Leno and Letterman. Leno was the kiss asked everyone kind of liked Letterman was the one that wasn't afraid to be negative. He wasn't afraid to give his guests a hard time. Legitimately, Um Even coming out on things. He did that to Conan Conan was the mix between the two. I saw a clip from Conan Show and I haven't watched this show and forever like on TBS or whatever. I don't think I've ever really watched it at all since it was on there, but His show on TBS ending and they're doing like retrospectives and stuff like that. I shall I I saw a clip from the show this morning. It's still funny. He's still got it. But Don't know. Everyone on NBC is just No, thanks, I'll I'll watch reruns of something on Netflix. Carson. I didn't know there was a third book in that series. Honest to God, I didn't either. I thought it was DaVinci code, angels and demons. But apparently there's also the lost Inferno. And I'm sorry. The Lost symbol. Inferno and origin. Um, from private practice. Amy Brenneman 57 Erin Brockovich. She is 61 today. Also 61 is Tracy, Poland that Michael J. Fox's wife and also an actress Bruce Campbell. Friend of the show. He is 63 today. From Of course, the evil dead movies. Bubba Ho Tep, one of our show favorites, and at one time he wouldn't leave me alone at the radio station. There was that one time he would not leave Alfie alone at the radio station bugging me while I'm trying to do work. And there is that also the last time we had him on, we realized Yeah, He just kind of says the same thing every time. On the phone. In person. That was awesome. But if you get him to call in, he basically just does like the same stick that he does with every show. And you can't tell him. Hey, we had you on before he would be like, Oh, yeah, I totally remember that He will remember that. Not that I blame him. Cyndi Lauper had her on the show before she's 68 Today. Meryl Streep is 72 The Bionic woman Lindsay Lindsay Wagner is 72 as well. Kris Kristofferson turns 85 today. Man. That's all the alive people, he wrote Sunday morning. Coming down, right, Chlo. What about Kris Kristofferson wrote Sunday morning. Coming down, thinks I think so. Yeah, he was a better songwriter than a singer. Yeah, well, I mean, there's a lot of stuff of his that's like old classic. Country or whatever That's All Kris Kristofferson. But Sunday morning coming down one of those one of those songs where you're just like feeling like ass hungover and and and you hear somebody relate to exactly how you feel. Somebody who's her life is sort of falling apart and she gets in a van and hits the road and lives in RV camps and recreational areas taking on you know little seasonal jobs along the way. It zest a very sweet and very thoughtful, touching movie. I think this is going to be the big winner for tonight. You know People love Frances McDormand. The written and directed production about the famous Chicago seven trial that took place in Chicago 50 years ago. Your nominees were best Drama for performances in the dramatic category. For actresses. The nominees are Violet Davis on Drew a day, Vanessa Kirby, Frances McDormand and Carrie Mulligan. For best actors in the drama. The nominees are Riz Um, Ed Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Hopkins. I think the winners are going to be Frances McDormand and I just I don't know how Chadwick Boseman Doesn't win. He's amazing in the movie Ma Rainey's black bottom. But you know the fact that he passed away the young age and nobody knew that he was fighting cancer. I think that probably is going toe play into the Planted the decision making also for best movie, musical or comedy. The nominees are Boer at subsequent movie film Hamilton. When they put together a television version of Hamilton in the put it on Disney. Plus, this got nominated. The motion picture called Music was nominated, as was the comedy with Andy Sandberg, Palm Springs. And the Ryan Murphy directed production. The prom. Which has Meryl Streep and has just AH, whole variety of very talented actors. That's also nominated for best picture as well. I kind of have a feeling that Borat is going to want to ping the winner tonight in the musical or comedy category. For best actress in a motion picture Maria Buckler Cova, who is placed Borat's daughter in Borat. Subsequent movie film Kate Hudson from music. And, uh, Anya Taylor, Joy dominated for the movie called Emma for best performance by an actor in a motion picture, musical or comedy. That's what makes you a great host because you are our proxy to these talented famous people and you. You don't look you don't look bored or or disinterested as jaded person might well. He hasn't had you on yet. Ask marty established good. I think that's the thing and axes. I do like i think i tell me. I'll be interesting to see if you agree with this. I think there are only two types of actor in the world. I think neera aliens and human beings and neither a better. Neither a better idea isn't a better so aliens like mark rylance daniel j lewis right meryl streep christian bale christian bale ray fines and tom. Hanks philip seymour. Hoffman edge clooney. George like just kind of be us they are and so you can watch the same play like i watched simon russell. Hamlet a mark rylance to a hamlet and the same text. And i was watching thinking. I don't know how he does this. And i watched simon russell bill and i thought out of your may up there. You're representing us right raw the audience and being just the normal guy. It's kinda sneaky tough to chew it up. You know unless you've got the skills like an alien does to really morph into somebody else. Yeah and i think because it looks easy. Yeah like what you like. What you for example. The stillness of it makes people think. Think go ahead go ahead. Well good something. Got something fucking able to stay here jason. I love you and you're my friend. I don't wanna hurt you so sorry james. Continue on and how dare you working on it though. Yeah come back with it. keep going james. You're in the middle of a compliment. I'm sorry not impulse. Think that looks easy. And i actually think it's harder than than doing. We'll see. i can just smoke coming out of his ears. He's writing is jason. Stillness is the result of him. not naming. The cameras started rolling no. I think that that's not true. I've jason is really good. And i think in those moments you see him and you think like they've just turned the dial to the don't move mode just a robot. Dial my the next to the batteries. Because i think it's all happening in that there is there. Is that thing you're right. And i've worked with both of these guys a lot and i will say there is shannon. I had so much time we did a couple of shows and we used to laugh our asses off and fuck around and it was exactly that it was cut and it was just trying to make each other laugh on and trying to screw. And then my introduction to working on a regular basis started when jason nice worked on arrested development and i will say and i i don't know if i've ever said this out loud i learned so much because jason been doing it. Since he was a kid. I learned so much. I knew so little and i learned so much from jason from that experience and he was like a friend and a big brother and he taught me things and he taught me with a lot of tough love. Like hey stupid..

"Dj that television that podcast right those friends of yours like not those people who live down the street right? The ultimate were closes in and it closes in and you never ever when you ever just can happen upon something. So you used to do was you'd sit down on a train or an apart- someone would have left a newspaper and grab and you go oh, right. I'll pick this up right. I'm whether it's The New York Times The Washington Post the daily news near the Guardian. Yeah. You're picking it up and you go this is a different points of view to mine and euro immediately your your open. See to something else. Yeah see I would argue because I hear for more people than ever before now I, say I'll tweet something an anti-trump thing or something like that. Obviously, you have to be living in San Francisco to part of your duty she'll San Francisco citizen and I will hear from thousands now I have a large very large podcast you're not real people. But I feel like I'm hearing I feel like I'm hearing for more points of you than ever before on everything that you have access to say Breitbart and Washington Post and a New York Times and you have access to everything but you. Choosing so have access right if you. Want to and I think people stay in their lane saying that what happens is when you just going to happen upon a different right point of view and coming to television my worries. WH is. It meant for and ultimately. It's very best. Is it not a time where where me my died my sister, my son. Will. Gather together and Happen upon something right. Well, that's only happens now in sports news like think of the debate, which was one hundred million people or something like that I. Did sports people do Olympic say or something like that and major news events that's pretty much all that's left and. I don't know if that's a great thing I. Don't know if we should be very proud of ourselves. What do we do? There's nothing it's the way it is I get it but I'm saying I think should have a slight feeling of Oh. Yeah. I've not commonality coming Tyke in those moments right? Have we taken the season finale of friends? So ultimately what happens or the season finale of Seinfeld or the West. Wing more happens as I go. Oh my God did you it and you know I'm on sesame. Don't tell me what happened today. Okay. Let's not talk anymore, right? Right right. Hunches outside of Netflix. What will happen? Is People will ultimately just start shuttling. Things the same way television down, they will live all week but it will be this episode as now because what you realize is unique that sort of social media buzz you need that thing if you will I, don't know I think people like binging. I think they like it I want my mother's. Eighty she loves benching sure but then so then why then take Amazon for example, with showed up the grandeur which they have paid a huge amount of money for are they going to put up every Friday night at nine o'clock? has they're trying that they're trying to see if that's what people will do with transparent. They just released the whole season. Yeah but you need if you run nice for. You need to keep people's. Generating Buzz right. So what happens is if it's gone in a weekend. Before it's gone. You trending for. NETFLIX's. Thank on, and then how do you just keep so because that might not be their goal. What do you mean? It might not be Amazon's at all could be selling echoes they could be selling devices was surely the goal is to just ring to keep you in so that you everything you get from here. Yes, it is but I don't know if they were necessary. They have you coming back for everything lake right now with Amazon, they're delivering everything to you and then they have no subscriptions is the K. Yes but keeping. Is Right now I don't know the lots a lot not as many as you think a lot a lot of countries which I don't think. Twenty I think they're not trying to I don't think I. I don't actually know there at the medicine more than twenty I don't know how much. Anything I should know this since. I should know this. Covering, them since Easter. Confined it did Google not help you? Like how you look up everything. The Best I. Know It is. There's never an answer that can't be unanswered. That's dinner parties. Go now. "We like having a TV person here every now, and then I only talked to geeks and vs so it's really nice to talk to a regular person. So they know that you call them that they do i. Like it it's like Stockholm Syndrome. Just, abused, them works for us. So we're going talk tech in a minute but let's talk a little bit about you. People don't know as much about your background. You have hugely varied background in theatre an ABC TV. And things like that. So talk about how you got to the late late show and then we'll talk about sort of the phenomenon you've created there Well, it's I. Mean I'm an first and foremost and worked in the UK and done a few. Plays and a couple of films what would drive slept Mike. Lee and Shea Meadows and people that and At the National Theatre until play New York history boys which did very well, and then I I wrote the Sitcom. Code Gavin and Stacey for the BBC. which to everybody's surprise? Started on a very small digital channel BBC three. And ended up on BBC One. We started with five hundred thousand viewers and when we ended it three seasons later, we had like fourteen million, which in the United Kingdom since. It's about one in three I. Think you know so it was a super hits. An done a couple of things that weren't very good and then I wrote another show for the BBC. The Wrong Mans, which was also part financed by Hulu and then I went back to New York to do a play called one man to govern right which is a big stick foss. And unbeknownst to me one day man called Les Moonves. Who is the CEO? Of CBS? And he tells his story much better than I. So it feels a bit indulgent if I said it but he he saw the plane went home and started to overthink usually means in how how should we get this guy? On our network and Schofield into the woods and I was writing a new show for HBO and I was going to go back to New York means Kuda funny thing happened on the way to the forum zero mastel. That's right. So I was going to pay that row on Broadway, which is, of course very much looking forward to. and CBS deferred rights show for them and and I'd say no and. And I'd gone to lessen the then president needed tasks. Let's assaults of on a explain why I'm we go talking about right now we are told them how an incredible I thought. Stephen Kobe's appointment was and how swiftly they dealt with it. How? Though it was very closely the way they dealt with it and And we started talking about how I felt like the show often Craig Ferguson. It just said, he was going to step down and I said I felt like unless they find a show that will embrace the Internet and reach out its arms to that audience. And I I wonder what the point of having that show is anymore. Well, yes. Because there's a talk show from eleven thirty to twelve thirty and then. Should have another talk show from twelve thirty to one thirteen. Like it's got to reach out to try to find a different audience. An audience that perhaps don't watch network television anymore. Not because the contents not right just because they consume their content in different ways and. been a big internet person. I mean you brought this first of all you thought about doing a talk show. Musical theater movie with music and I was very reticent to do is the truth a really wasn't sure whether is the right thing to do. But. I just came to the conclusion that I'd much rather regret doing something than not doing something. But as far as being an internet person I so of see a huge divides. As in Hollywood do they don't divide between my phone, my computer screen in my television like a best a very best. It's a blurred line you know and the way I see is. Content, is content and it's not a good show will be a good show on. TV. It will be a good show on your phone, right? Good show on your laptop and I don't. Differentiate between what? There on you to say that to them, and what was the reaction when you said that it's gotta be something different? No, no other hosts have been trying those viral videos Kim all in. I'm very successfully because the trick is to an end why were saying nothing really new it just hasn't really existed on CBS. It's not the I was saying. I was reinventing the wheel anyway. Internet. Network. It. Was a traditional. It. Felt like. That well, I mean David Letterman himself said that he when he was retiring. He did lots of interviews and and he said his was not embracing at the time. He says in hindsight he realizes that that was. Something that. The twelve thirty, right the late night with David Letterman would have absolutely that's what it would have been. Right. To an extent, it did grab stuff hundred percent. I mean, he felt like he did wish of chump both in as opposed to just maybe dipping their toes in the water when you were conceiving of the show thinking of it like that where you see blurred lines, how do you then create do deconstruct the show and then reconstructed or do you think of it in pieces or what's the? Well, it's a tough one that because ultimately we look at our show us, we launch it at twelve thirty, every night but it's available twenty, four hours a day so. We look at each show as an hour and we go right with the his. Today show will be something different to yesterday show, and then we try and think, well, what will be the moments that people will find an how can we package them and place them in a manner that people will search them out and share them on their phones and it's Outta me the the core of a asked to be good at the core of it you. It doesn't matter how much you bruns something how much you package how much you try and put something in pay front of people. You know the old adage is the same for films. Good films good if. The songs? Sensation. It's not that it's just got to be good and it's got to. Presents because our show is a talk show. So very often you'll be me and someone else you've got to present them in a way. That people haven't really seen them before. So how do you do that? What do you? How do you think that and obviously you've done carpenter. That in a second but how do you imagine to do that? Because talk shows have kind of a strict formula? Well, ours doesn't dead right and look there's you could shoot into our shows we elements of. The very very the same. You know because I what we always wanted to do was just just to evolve slightly like just the very nature of. You know we would think about our show. Think we're we're on after Stephen Kobe Shadow. Stevens can keep politics policy is going to bring guests at one time. Let's bring guests out together bring them all out at the saints on because let's try and create a feeling of. Sort of dinner party. An organic conversation let's bring our audience closer his shows in Broadway theatre. Where would you go after Broadway? It's you might go to a restaurant you might go to a cabaret ball you might go to a jazz club bullets. Bring our seats. Little, small tiffany lamps in between Reggie Watson his band being just incredible in that. You know I'm we you just try to. Foam it as as organically as you count anyway, the that would feel like an organic process and then it's about. thinking, well, what's interesting and just every guest thinking will what what can we do? What's a thing? We can do that see the stupid. Silly funny or interesting or fun and it's just got to take one of those five. you know yeah. So when you're when you're doing this every night, we're going to get to how evolved in the one that's gotten very well known because it's sort of got an enormous in that way when you work with your team writers, explain what you do all day like how you get it together how you bring it together and how the modern talk show done. It I mean no days really the same right but. What I'll go straight after this and go in and sit with the rises and a normally I would be in now and we will look at the news and we'll look at what we want to say the star of the show. What's.
Who should replace Ellen?
"News is ongoing. Generous. Ongoing News that won't stop are one nemesis might be replaced by our other nemesis. On their talk show the Ellen show. Well, these are that this is them news, but I do feel like Ellen could be replaced with a WHO, if this all comes to fruition or like a WHO thinks so too person because I'm seeing a lot of people nominate various talk show e people although apparently the rumors are like James Corden is going to replace Ellen, but like he has a show so. That makes no sense to me on any. That's what blows my mind. Why he has eight hundred shows. He has just made another daily show like that doesn't make any sense to me at on. The also has carpool. Karaoke. And then he also has the cat sequel like he has plenty, oh. Yeah. Let's replace a supposedly nice person with another supposedly nice person like. Haven't. We learned anything from this thing. These people are Nice. They suck. I think always be wary of people who say their thing is being. I think the number, one person who should clearly replace Allen is Kiki Palmer. There's literally no. Better obvious. Getting a lot of a lot of traction and she showing up a lot of tweets because it's like she just had a talk show that got canceled for no reason on ABC. Well, it was like that one hour of Commerical Strahan. Michael? And Kiki Sarah? There was A. Third Sarah. Sarah. And Michael and Kiki It just give it to clean working it. Just everyone likes he. We Love Kiki. She's a great host. Who else do you think if if we're going if for skewing young? I think we to Kiki for skewing older, I think it should go to fucking the woman who should have gotten David Letterman, amy. Sedaris like give it to amy sedaris because people like her. She's silly. I don't know that, amy, the thing is I. Don't know that Amy Sarah's would want to do that I. Feel like. I don't need that. We're talking about this on the Patriot. If you WANNA. Go listen to that about how drew Barrymore also has daily, show a daytime show coming out, and I'm like who would want this job? Drew Barrymore wants this job since when like it's just to meal a a weird job that you wouldn't want that could turn you or probably. Turn you into a monster, right? Yes. but the to provide a context in case you've been under a rock people are like there. There have been the rumors for years and years and years, but specifically the past few months they've really you know the hit a critical mass and started being reported publicly like Ellen is an asshole to everyone. Ellen is an asshole. The people she works with Ellen makes people not talk to her ellen cruel. But now there are reports by like news and variety and insider that it wasn't just ellen being a to everyone and celebrities and not liking Ellen like being on Ellen show. It's that the executive producers were actually like being abusive like in sexually harassing the employees. So it's like a culture. Culture of toxicity. That is the sort of thing that I don't that Ellen is deciding up allegedly that she doesn't want to deal with anymore. So she's like this sucks like I just rather not do this anymore. Right. So but this rumor, this isn't this is in fact, this is rumor because people keep their keep going back and forth and saying some some sources say she's not leaving this show sums his sources as she's leaving the show. I. Can't imagine somebody as likely a annoyed with the whole situation who is known to be not a very nice person would want to continue to fake be nice and have to apologize and half to like kind of whatever because these rumors have been. Kind of like I for some reason I, keeping you Kevin Spacey Pre the abuse allegations like when everyone knew he was gay, but no one knew he was gay like it was weird thing where it was like if you knew, you knew if you didn't, you had no idea what be totally shocked it. Kind of feels like that type of Hollywood news where like everyone knew that Ellen was secretly mean except for Ellen fans who had no idea where living happily with ellen everyday of their life and like the show was wildly successful, right? very strange. A very strange thing. Do you think that this will happen because people are so bored in their craving, the Gospel, and then somebody just this is this is what I mean I, think it's I mean. It's a combination of a lot of things at one of is like the people finally speaking out about their employers. It's like finally like shutting down like the. The systemic issues and leg, not being corporate America and knowing that people will support them and believe them and believe them, and that like the media machine of Ellen isn't powerful enough to shut down. So many voices if enough come out and and we'll talk about it later in the episode, but it's like the it's similar to the. Vanessa. Morgan thing, it's it's shades of an ESA Morgan being like I'm going to speak up against the riverdale creators and the Riverdale producers because people are people are realizing that they can do that and they won't get like dumped on by the press or of their fans they will be seen as like heroes. But. It's also just like, I, Think Dakota Johnson had a tiny bit to do with it because Dakota Johnsons like Open crubaugh open open. Rudeness to Ellen SORTA. Gave People. I don't know permission to speak about rumors that she's an asshole more openly. They're like, it looks like that's what Dakota's referencing. So I didn't even know you liked me. Of course, I. Like you. You Knew I. Liked you. You've been on the show many times and don't I show like. But I did invite you and you didn't come. So this time you invited me, are you sure? How do you? I don't think. So ask everybody. Jonathan. Your producer. I was that, why didn't I go? I don't know that became a meme. You have people like Brad Garret and who else replied to him. Leah Tom's Tom's joins. She is mean she is. She. Yes. Now, I can't believe I just called the Thomson. So Deutsche US minor. That was obsessed the disease of this show right here. Yeah. Leah Thompson also respond to that and said Yep I mean, I just think that it's like no one was a true story note once you lose grip on the fear, you are the power you had over I mean, and it's funny because then you have scooter Braun coming out her being like Ellen is great. I. Love Allen is like so people still. Look at the people coming out and say L. Like scooters, hedging his bets at this, all go away and back to normal and Ellen will still be powerful and whatever, and then you have people speaking out i. just it's a fascinating reveal of a monolith almost kind of crumbling that you didn't think would ever. Be exposed like this. I didn't. It seems like Palmer is getting a lot of A lot of press over like a lot of tweets being could replace. Ellen is trending key Palmer got a lot. Tiffany haddish. Got A lot that woman who does the like trump impersonations? What's her name? Sarah? Cooper. She got a lot of people tweeting about her I mean, I think it's just bomber just someone who someone who actually. Got Some tweets booing reply Oh doodoo be from drag race also got A. Drag. Race. Got I. saw that. Yeah. But I think he palmer when you when you want someone who has like the resume as well like. You of don't WANNA, pick someone random like Sarah Cooper. As funny as she is on twitter, because like her her her skills as a as an interviewer, not proven whereas Kiki, Palmer is a link interviewer host. Yeah I mean I would say like the Ellen slots, big slot made we just move up the ladder. We get Kelly Clarkson in that slot. We get Drew Barrymore Kelly was and we get key. Palmer. Work. Curse, lot I know these are all people on different network. So it makes literally no sense but you. Better like we. We cannot confuse the audience. We must replace the Ellen show with someone named. Ellen. Ellen Ellen. Page's like don't look at me like another gay. Just like I will not I will. Zone POMPEO, she wouldn't do it. I. Don't I don't need Elon Pale. Ellen Page Ellen Popular, and Never Would Ellen Pompeo every interview Ellen Pao's ever done. It's been like I. Love Grey's Anatomy I. have nothing but free time like. She will never do that. You know who would do it. Who Ellen Barkin? Embark and all Ellen Barkin wants is a soapbox like did someone say soapbox?

What happened, so yes, started going to jam sessions and. Him Yeah I. Find I found New York to be a place. That really embraces you if you come kind of. Ready to? You for adventure. You know just ready to play music with anyone until you. That's what it was like I just kinda played with whoever wanted to play music with me and started doing small shows picked up tour here and there and yeah, sort of very slowly grew a grew. It was hard. You know, but it was also a beautiful experience like you kind of throw yourself out of your comfort zone. Then you meet New People, and it's like you make friendships that are very special, because like people that experienced you as you're just very vulnerable and trying to figure out a new place, and so, what was your first like? When did you make it in New York? What were you percent of your first big? Gigs in New York I. Don't know like if that's big tour with the boy's. Choir Harlem like Christmas tour early on and. He was such A. Fun Experience I. Did I was in a band in funk band called a piece of joy time I was. I was touring with them for a while. Also a bunch of little things. Some TV shows with Gloria Estefan which was exciting and then I started a toured with Moby I. think that was A. That was a moment where. I felt like. That's a bigger tour. I saw myself. Wanting to do more of that rather than those like Van Tours. Touring his heart, you know it's after a few years I was ready for Nicer tour so I don't you know? Sit in a van or sleeping them. My father was a A drummer in a band and he always told me that the worst part was just. Schlepping the instruments in the. In the elevator. You know these random hotels or wherever he was performed. Jammers and bass players are gears really heavy. You know the. Drummer. While it's, it's In the freight elevator, he said he was always in the. It's hard work. Shows are amazing, and you get to travel and meet people, but then the yeah, the schlepping is is tough. So did I read you or your opened at this point in your career that you opened with for the rolling stones, so that was a little later I have to moby. I also worked with Sharon Jones and adapt that kings. It which if you don't know them? Really Amazing Band and we opened for prints. And she's Times yeah. The Rolling Stones Week was with Grace Potter. In that was two thousand fifteen, so it was just A. Right, after I started doing James Corden the late late show, so so you're living in new. York and you're doing all these different. You're making a career doing all sorts of different gigs. And then how did the? How did the late late show which aims Gordon show. How did that job come about? I I heard about that that Gig from a friend of mine who I guess. I heard about it from different few different people. Did. Did you know James? About James, corden before this. I heard a bird. So I heard that James is going to take over the lake late show, and then I checked out we was. And I I knew about Reggie Watts the bandleader. So I heard that he's going to be the bandleader and I remember thinking I'm going to watch that show because James is so sounded. An and Reggie is a bandleader seemed just surreal. Did you have any desire at that point to to move across the country to the West Coast In? The move definitely came as fries. It wasn't like. I. Just started doing a Kinky boots on Broadway the musical. And had an amazing that it was my first experience really doing a Broadway show. And I had an amazing time doing it. It was a month before I actually heard from Reggie I. Got An email from the Guy Stephen about. You, know Reggie's putting together abandoned. I want to recommend you. Would you be interested in moving to La for this show? And I've you know I've worked in TV before like in? Israel I used to be the Bass player. Shown Bobby Doerr, we do the to pass which is. It was at the time. The biggest talk show kind of a J. Leno kind of a show so not too not too different actually. From James Corden either I sort of had that experience. A New I've wanted to work at a TV show again.

The people chosen us and very exciting stick with that and I thank you all for helping me along the way I have. I have big changes in store for your podcast. Next year and really ready did our weakness. Is there another year that we run the show? So we pick ourselves up. I'm not saying we're making any money I'm gonNA take it to the reporter. That's good and we are to be honest. Kevin hasn't signed as the old for another season. He's negotiating yeah. He's holding out a bit. So I WANNA keep my wardrobe Jennifer Aniston. Evan may have said the following yesterday. Well I have two pair of shorts left affect me so it's either going to be the other one Kevin and I also liked the facial growth. It's really like and the long hair. I'm liking the look. Yeah I think you look good now. Do very handsome thanks guys. It's just been rough. Yeah I'm ready to go back to the real world. I'm ready to go back to work and see all you guys on a regular basis in see everybody in the staff but I guess I not happen until the country news seems to be on edge. Yeah that's how it feels to me not in a good way. Yeah no just you know. It's it's a lot of time to be sort of removed from like normal society. Yeah to longtime kids had to relearn how to do school and like interacting with other kids is like I don't know sort of the foundation of growing up of being a kid all just been really really and then like Sorta the politicization of like Matt wearing a mask vs not wearing a maverick thing fully. We're very lucky to have our jobs. And our hosts in our family and our little our little podcasts. We sure are you know I find at this time when like very simple things become incredible joys and we're sitting out in the yard sitting out in our front yard This weekend and some friends drove up. We had no idea they were coming. Wow got to the car and it changed. Everybody's moved. They stayed you know in the street chatting with us. Everyone at of mask on for ten or fifteen minutes they were driving up just taking a drive and Oh my God. It was so fun we the best time you have friends socialites. That's really cool and I I also learned. We have listener. A friend of mine named Tracy listens to our podcast while she walks her dogs in the evening. Tracy texted me the other night she goes. I'm just listening all about ZANDER. Oh I love that Jazz. Anders AMAZING SO IT TURNS OUT. I have friends and we have one more confirmed listeners. Mary when you sit in your yard. Can you see your pool moving toward your neighbor's house or nonsense? It happened more slowly than and this was me sitting in the front yard so in the front. It's very hard to see the pool. The POOL REPO ING. I guess what would be considered West keeps going West. It'll ultimately be on. Pch right something to look forward to something to watch for it. Turns OUT IT turns out here in the Silver Conley homestead. We need to do a little work. Shoring up the hillside and so that that work will happen. Hopefully over the summer people have asked me and I know you're GonNa Make Fun Saying that they're people who ask me questions which is probably some. You are correct but people have asked me so this season is almost done and then what are their plans? Are you guys? You know what happens next and we know what everyone knows. Our hope is that we come back in September in our studio with some form of an audience or maybe no audience. We don't know it all depends on what the virus decides to do but our hope is to take a little time off and then to come back and shoot game of games and then after that shoot our show in our hope is to continue to to try to return to our normal way of doing things. I was wonderful Cabbie. You'RE GONNA fall down. I'M GONNA fall down for a couple of weeks. Mayor Bounty for season eighteen gotten. He's ready to bounce. So yeah. So that's that's the plan. So that's what we think our hope everything were pointing towards is shooting some game of games episodes for everyone's enjoyment and then coming back as Kevin said for season eighteen season eighteen. How crazy how insane is that it. It's insane it's been a long time. Yeah it's been so fun. Yeah Oh yeah I mean it's been it's been quite a ride hard to imagine that it's been eighteen years and I would say season. Seventeen has been the toughest season. It's been yeah this has been so it's it's hard for us but it's even harder for our viewers like all the people. I keep thinking about all the people who had tickets. You know so many able make plans around the coming. Yeah you know We I mean we've part for seventeen years. People get two weeks vacation a year and they have planned everything around coming to the Ellen show and it's just breaks my heart the amount of audience members who you know. We weren't able to come in. Hopefully we will be back soon and all those people will be able to beat show but I think is amazing. Andy is something that you've done and I don't think you're getting enough credit for it. What's that well? The people that you know have made the plan to have really wanted to come to the Ellen show and have been unable to the fact that you're hosting them at your. They are all welcome in my home. Fact that you have opened up your home I mean it's what I do what I do. Give her yeah. I ever and Laurie is Yeah I explained to her. Some people have hotels so it's never going to be more than two hundred feet night within you know and we can do. Hopefully we'll we'll be at a point where we can do a buffet style dinner. So yeah so that's our hope I can't you know the four of us constantly saying how much we miss the audience but no one is saying it more than Ellen that's A. She has really missed the the applause. The the Kham robberies the gratitude of of of an entire audience and fun. It's more yeah. It's more fun having a party in the room. It really is people talking about that. Your Jokes Yeah. Other than a weird guy in the window. Speaking of funny. Let's talk about James Cordon. Yes a good transition really speaking fun. James Gordon late night funny hosts and go ahead. Why don't we talk about she? The Way Ellen Doors James Corden pretty sweet. He really is funny any so fast on. You know he's just fun. She mentioned in this interview on the show. He is funny on his show but he was outrageous at her guerrilla Palooza event. He was absolutely go fun. I sat there in the audience that guerrilla Palooza thing and he just knocked my socks off. He hosted the auction the way he got people to bid on items and the way he came off the stage and was in people's faces and challenging people to bid up items to help protect the the mountain gorillas Rwanda. He was fun. He was funny and he helped raise an incredible amount of money. It was really fun to watch. At one point he pitted against each other one of them being Kevin. Yarn and the way that he taunted. Kevin Jorn into upping his donation. And I'm not. I'm not even sure he knew. Kevin Urine Wind did not and it didn't matter to him he just was like. I am going to do everything I can to raise money. And it was very successful at it. If you have a chance to get James Corden to run your charity auction. Jump at that chance. He's really really good at it but he's He's less good at helping his kids with their homes. Here's a little bit of that you And your family are. I think you know you have kids. So you have a different experience than than portion. We're just here. But but your kids are home-schooling now. So that's that adds another level of stress right out slugged twenty-five lays stress. It's not man. It's.

"james corden" Discussed on Good One: A Podcast About Jokes
"How came together, and we'd find Joep loosely because for different people, the comedic arts, a joke, conserve a different purpose depending on what they need for lean house like this week's guest late late show host James corden their joke. See might tell monologue or what have you. But there are jokes that take the form of segments that can be returned to ever. So often whatever that show needs such a play ver this episode. We'll be talking about such a segment crosswalk, the musical in which this show puts on a musical in the crosswalk, by the studio, or sometimes Broadway or the London streets. I should note, a functioning, crosswalk with real cars and everything Howard's, not just a stunt, each instalment, and there have been ten released this recording is pair with sort of making of documentary in which James gets the play the sort of person who take on such an endeavor and take it seriously. Walk through. All the installments and the courts, they offer though, I'll note there was a version with while Smith doing a perform Aladdin that air after the interview was conducted, I'll double note James mentioned, an extra special new one, and I can tell you, it's not the Aladdin, but one that will come out soon enough without further ado. We will start with I ever cross communicable wreath, which aired in April two thousand fifteen right after James over the late late of get actually, I lied. There is one further. Do I have a preface? We will play before the clip. The episode is mostly focused on what happened at the point James heard the idea as the sort of catching the ship, but I wanted to hear about the backstory before it ever reached James, so first, you'll hear from in Carmel to current co head writer of the late late show and the original creator cross with musical then you'll Greece. Then you'll hear James so take it away. He at the idea for crosswalk communicable came to me while I was walking down. Fairfax in, in Los Angeles, which is right by studio. CBS television city Fairfax, this weird street, where it's like a combination of a bunch of hype. These teenagers were wedding align outside the supreme and then orthodox Jews you address in the long coats and the hats with the beards and everything. And I was crossing a crosswalk on Fairfax. And I thought it would be very funny to do fiddler on the Fairfax, like we do fiddler on the roof on, on Fairfax, and the only place where really made sense where you would have an audience would be the do it in one of those Crosswalks, we still have never done fiddler on the roof and that could be because while I'm very Jewish. James corden could not be less Jewish. I, I had no idea when I pitched it, if it would be possible or even legal or not. I had. Literally, no idea. But I figured, like, you know, you see people sometimes like moving equipment across Crosswalks. They're walking their bikes across the crosswalk. So I figured there wouldn't be any legal barrier, especially in Los Angeles, which is so show biz obsessed to putting. You know, like a forklift with labs carpet in the crosswalk. And then we did I was such a new writer that I you the lessons I've learned center like think about what is it gonna look like on TV? And like you have to surround a good idea in enough stuff that, you know, make sense because you can't just throw it out there, like all right. Here's James doing, you know, Greece lightning in across walk devoid of any context. I've since learned that you need all that context, but the original idea was no, it was just like let's go on the crosswalk. Basically every time we do a crosswalk. We learn a little bit about what we can get away with them the crosswalk. So we try to come up with more ambitious. You know. Musical numbers and props in the music one we figured out, we could put these platforms with bicycles on them. So look like people are riding bikes in the crosswalk at once we did that it was a natural jump to putting pyrotechnics. Into the Aladdin crosswalk..

"We're releasing because I forgot to say that the book is out, and as a special promotion and also say special, I dunno thing we are going to be releasing a sample audio chapter from comedy sex God. So right now here is the chapter in the book called. Yes. Thank you. I recorded a while ago. It's from the book that's available now. I hope enjoy it. Katie. Let's play that chapter get into it. And then James corden, then you get into both of those things. Yes. Thank you. I've always hated museums. The worst part is when you hate museums. You have to pretend you love museums because you don't wanna look stupid or unsophisticated for hating museums. So for decades whenever someone asked me if I wanted to go to the museum, I would have to pretend to be all excited. When in fact, I only cared that people thought I was the kind of guy who goes to museums. If I ever did go, I would forget to take off the little circle admission pin for weeks, so people would notice it conspicuously still class from my book bag. So I could be like, oh this I was at the museum. And I got it. Whatever it is. You're supposed to get. I got it. I was quiet. I sketched. I got to know myself. But that's not what I was doing at the museum. I wasn't looking at a painting to appreciate it. I was staring at it trying to figure out how long was appropriate to look at it. So when I walked away the other people in the room weren't like, well that guy didn't get it at all. So I would look at it and make my museum face which is a face that suggests I'm deeply analyzing color choices and brushstrokes, but really in my head. I just be singing her Cheerios having for breakfast lunch. You decide and that's not even real jingle. I didn't care about the art. And I certainly wasn't feeling anything. I was just completing a mental checklist searching from room to room looking for the name brands. You know, the good ones the Picassos and the Monets the ones people would ask me if I'd seen. I'd find them a crowd of people already circled around gazing and a wave of relief would hit me. Now, I've been to the museum I've seen what I'm supposed to see. Now, I can go right after I buy magnetic representations of these paintings to prove I wasted my day here. Ramdas taught me that the thing that was keeping me from enjoying museums was the same thing that was keeping me from living in the moment and feeling divine connection. It was all in my head instead of enjoying a piece of art for what it meant to me or for what it made me feel. I was wasting my time wondering what it was supposed to mean. Careful not to waste too much time. Looking at it for fear that a better more famous more meaningful painting was waiting for me in the next room. Whatever it was. I thought I was looking for. It was always somewhere else hiding allusive somewhere around the next bend. It was never simply here. And neither was I in. India Ramdas had learned a method around such endless mind robbery. Maharaja would repeat the Hindu name of God rom out loud over and over most of the day, the other yogis and Saudis had mantras that they too would keep on a loop in their heads at all times turns out repeating mantra-like. This. One of the methods for quieting the mind to allow himself to be fully immersed in the here. And now. I had heard of meditation..

"You. With me. Happening. Where does if if I a little weird? It's because I'm recording a strange hotel in New York City that I just checked into as a strange smell and weird carpet and weird. It's just weird. I don't have to tell you everything there's chandeliers that look like candelabras, and they're like kind of comically low to the ground. Not like nice chandeliers. Just like this is this is what fit here delays. This is what fit here Leers. Anyway, if you're listening to this the day, it came out it is the day after my book is out. I know you've heard me talking about this a lot obviously means a lot to me. I've been getting some feedback already from some people who got early copies friends mostly, and they like it and my parents liked it. That's that's weird. There's some stuff in there. You'll see that you wouldn't think your parents. Anyway, I don't want to spoil it for you. But I would love to check it out. It's called comedy sex God. And if you order it now, you'll get it. Now. No more waiting. It's just a book you can buy and read which is a thrill for me and hopefully fund for you. And this is James corden, which was also thrill for me and was also fun for me. So let's get to it. As I always say, but never do quickly as possible. There is a lot of mirrors to like kind of like fashionably dirty mirrors. I'm in New York because I'm going to be at the William Vail on the fifteenth which tonight if you're listening to this it's Wednesday nights. I'll be the William Vail Brooklyn and doing a book show, go to word bookstores dot com for.

"Yes. To talk about that show. But also just. The name of the show is the world's best name of the show is world's best. And it looks amazing James corden and like fifty judges threw everywhere. Barrymore our friend, Jubeir more, rupaul, rupaul and faith hope. Yeah. It's really good. And it's different than anything you've seen. But James corn was here. And he's just so sweet entertaining charming funny, self deprecating. I dislike everything about that guy. Just nice. Yep. You could tell they love each other like their conversation. From what I've been really impressed. By that faking accent, no down he's from Ohio. Yeah. He's a good guy. I like him and someone who spends a lot of time with celebrities in their personal. Oh, yeah. Else? Yeah. Yeah. They love being. That's good. I had felt differently about that gals from maybe that's why. Maybe doesn't have as many Eddie stick with me show business friends. He doesn't refer to them as gal. But anyway, here's a little bit of James corden. Hi, James, you it seems like you walked, and then you you decided you were going to slow, and then you sped up to to run to the chair. That's my life. Yes. That's my life. Mostly. I know I'm doing this slowly just yet get that quick. When I did your show, which was really fun, by the way. I recently did your show, and it's a long walk yen. It's down steps awkward. It's have you thought of changing that we'll know because what we want to have a show where we wanted to show when we stop it. I'll show we were like how can we be different everybody walks. Cousin right. Let's just have them come through the audience. Right. So that we're all in it together. Okay. Okay. No, I think it's a great idea. And then the audience gets so excited because you know, you get to like high five on the way down and stuff. Try and be a little different in whatever way. We. And that you sit with another guest, and it's fun because you interact together. It was great again same thing. How can we? How can we just stand out in some way in the massive mic shows that are on in the middle of the night? Why do we pick that picture to show of me? Why why is that? Great. Yeah. Well, clearly, I'm doing a fish thing. But I don't know why. Well, I can't remember. But you were terrific guests. We really felt like I mean this. I don't mean this in any way. Sycophantically? We are genuinely felt like it was a a real thing for our show to have somebody who just kind of respect for Saddam. We've only been on the four years a few to come by our show a great deal to everybody. Mean?.

I don't know this wish things there's so many notifications comes to my phone. I get more better shape. When it's does ringing. That that that's more intrusive than than than some paying, you know from about couple karaoke. I don't know. I probably should I probably would mind checking out a couple of couple karaoke episodes. But I can see how people give shape about it. I haven't admittedly. I haven't watched apples carpool karaoke. He ever since it changed hands from James. What's his face to whoever's doing it? Now, you could see him clearly very. This. James corden, James corden, he was he was great. He was he was the part of that show that made it so magical as his interactions with the celebrities in the car who do they have doing it. Now will change the host every time obviously, never watched the show because. Yeah, James corden is replaced by like a guest celebrity, and it's like weird celebrity pairings and stuff each time. Have you watched it an interesting and wildly entertaining? I don't know. But James corden still doesn't and he's also behind his company like that makes it for apple. It's just he's not the host every time. I haven't watched any episodes. I can't tell you it probably trash so. It'd be kind of like the same as going to a concert ego. Stevie Wonder Stevie Wonder show, and he's like, hey, I'm not gonna pay tonight. I'm gonna have my cousin play some guy. You've never heard of comes out and plays instead, and you're going to find the Kiro KIRO b. be like, you're not watching carpool karaoke to watch James corden, sitting nobody gives a about that. I wanna see they wanna go and see seal or Stevie Wonder, whoever the guest is our migos rap in the car with James corden being the awkward, silly, white British guy all say is that that episode with James corden, and the chili peppers was one of the most magical twenty minutes of YouTube I've ever seen. Like, I I don't like turning on notifications for any app now. Just because of that one factor. I don't I don't try like you'll get a game. Like, oh, you know, people are battling in the arena tonight. Come join the fray, and it's just like you mother effort that was not what notifications are for. So exactly exactly. I totally agree. Okay. Let's move on to the actual interesting story this week this week apple history, apple signs, a clone. Mac deal with a company called Power Computing, men of you, probably maybe no the the higher level of the story that apple was doing this previously. But here the details, and it's actually kind of quite fascinating. Quite honestly, I kind of wish there is still doing this. In nineteen ninety four apple computers signed a deal with Power Computing power. Rob our allowing the company to produce MacIntosh compatible computers with their market with their market share falling. Oh boy. The starting to sound familiar..

"Mm-hmm. Like this little said if this the universe. I don't know. What is we are actually James corden, and we just send out your on? And she's like, oh my God come knocking my room. So the funniest. Art. We should tell them about when she was walking in. Yeah. I wave oh, the funniest part is she walks in. We're sitting on the couch is I don't know if you've ever seen it and the backstage, James corden, I think a lot of guests who are taking pictures. There's a couch and a neon sign that says James corden, very cool all these like Polaroid's behind our fronts, and whose sister worked for that was just like so sweet and took us everywhere. Anyway, so we're sitting on the couch, and we're kinda chatting took a few pictures at busy walks by with our whole crew and out of the corner of I do like an awkward like high school hallway like as if the popular girl just walked by. And it was like wanted to get an are. And I'm like, she doesn't know what you look like like, did you think she knew you? And she was like first second. I thought she was gonna turn around. And know who I was I was like we don't put our faces anywhere knows what we look like I would never expect her to. But for some reason, we feel so connected turns Wagner, so much that Emma just like awkwardly waved. And I was like no she doesn't. She doesn't know you buy like, you know, you're right. Like, I just assume that they do. And they don't which is such a blessing curse. It's because nobody knows. But it's a it's a curse in those type situations because we have had that it didn't matter. But I'm just saying it was funny would have been like such a seamless interaction her to walk by like, oh my God girls. And then we would have been like high instead of like, whatever. Anyway, she was so sweet shoes that she was. So we go we knocked on the again, my dad's. My dad has no idea like how big of a deal it is that he's meeting all of these people. He's just so happy to be there. So cute. But usually like high know, whatever we're talking here. Ten fifteen minutes could not have been nicer exactly how she is on Instagram in terms of just being so real and authentic. Right. Yeah. I mean, she was the exact same. She's really really nice. It was so great so busy. If you're ever listening to this, which I know you're not. But it was great meeting. You again when we have to get on the podcasts, which really think she'll do it. I think she would too. I think she's just so busy right now. She's the whole show that whole nine, but she's busy. Anything about that one? So yes, that was awesome. Then no it was there, which oh my God can't even talk. I can't even I'm not exaggerating. I know we talk about him a lot and every time it's like I get kind of hot. But he in real life is so incredibly attractive, and he has enthusiasm and charisma that just translates you look at him. And you just get shaky. He has so much to Ag. And it's hard to explain unless you've seen them. And then you just know let me tell you one thing he when he was getting when he was leaving. He walked off every sharing he kind of came back, and he kissed like a kissing blow a kiss blowed blue kiss to the crowd. Sorry. No. I almost like all like interactive with everybody. Like he was just such a personality, which is so nice to see that he still has like young authentic. Just a kid like because we this is we always talk about is how quickly kids who are like in the spotlight. Let it go to their heads. And he just. He seemed so grounded. He really did and his him and busies direction on the show is very funny to watch. Yeah. "Same as a team, same for human gist workout who you are. Okay. From the present to the past. Now we want to talk James corden HS four favorite primarily plays of all time. Step play the I won't noble Mr. West Ham, James coudn't discuss for me. He is one of the absolute greats of West Ham, United his passion and commitment for the club every single fan. Any team would want someone with that level of commitment, integrity, passion, and desire in that same. And I think he's underrated unsung, but what he gives out football club both on and off the pitch is the very thing. We would just talk about identity but a fight. I think he might be the last of his kind. I wonder if they'll be a player that will come into a primarily team and stay at that Cup that whole career because I can't see him ever going anywhere the prospect of watching him in another show makes me feel for me. He represents everything. I love about what he he and poked, but if the record let them fight. Trying to pick a fight with Joshua. That is, who is he stands for that club in that badge, he'll square up against poker safe in the knowledge, public win that fight, but actually the person that wins a fight is the person who wants to win the most. Yeah, and I'd take noble over pool Popa. Yeah, full games out five. I really would. Yeah, somebody's gonna come in and stop that fight. You just want to get the Lixing early with his chest, and I actually think had not been in a Cup final. I think pull polka would have retaliated in Boston different way because he'd think I wouldn't care if I get sent off anything on earlier holiday. Yeah. Cup final was why he just sort of what I said him attacks off to that game. Just going, you poke around. I'm not going to back you up on that one. Your second favorite primarily player fulltime Eric Cantona I just think is one of the apps and loot greats and I missed those personalities on the pitch. I miss his swagger and his Hourigan 's and his insane ability, the cholera, what he did it Man United. You remember that run of gains this one, nil cancer. No one knew. Can cancer know everything about him is class and passionate the same time. I love to watch him every day. We haven't seen a plan that physical with that much skill. None the primarily so he he was a game changer for us watching a game changer a foreign before that the Premier League with almost all English Irish few skull. And after night, it's like Austrian, Eric, Cantona, Marco, and out of its, we will commutes. You know the story about console women, you know, traveling to European game, and they all had to wear the official. Suits and Eric console turned up in denim jeans, cowboy boots, a cowboy hat and a punch. Oh, right. And they're on the plane and apparently might feed and said societies, focusing the assistant coach gaffer. A few are upset about Eric's wearing exposes just said, we'll tell them when they play like he does, they can well what they want us. He's the greatest man management. You could ever imagine into the crowd kung FU kick the pumice fund. It all makes his legend as the ultimate Memphis. Well, it did, although I can't ever really condone such behavior and I wouldn't. I think you're a very highly paid footballer and you should be more quipped at dealing with this Botts for me, one of the greatest strikers fulltime. Okay. Number three, the Italian grape Paolo de county. Oh gosh. That was how he read his single finest because Takano been all over the papers for pushing that referee. Oh, no cubs take him. And Harry as an incredible man manager knew that he could make these player into something great. I don't think any of us knew the impact he'd have act up. I was up some park when he scored the unbelievable volley. Oh goodness. Trevor Sinclair hit across ball eight is the only time I've been a game, we've scored and I haven't left out of my seat and Chad Everett around is just went..
