"Going to be super impactful at 37 and 38? I'm like, I'm slightly less bullish on that. And I think he just comes back to health. Like, that's a really hard injury to come back from. And the fact that he did and played to have such a high level. The game's played is a little concerning over the last two years. And I think that's just rolls into my to my hesitation, but if he's healthy, I feel like he's got pretty good. I mean, averaging 30, 30 a game. In fact, he played 37. They played him so many minutes in those last few months. He really is wild. It's nuts and then we saw we saw what happened in the playoffs because I think he was just kind of and he was a plan one wheel, but you could tell that he certainly wasn't himself against the I'm going to flip it on you. How good can Jalen Brown be in the next? Four years. It's tough to put a ceiling on jaylen, 'cause he just comes back better every year. And the consistency he's been able to do that with is I think as obviously surpassed a lot of expectations, people had for him coming out of the draft originally. I don't think he's ever going to be at a top ten in the NBA current player level. But like 11 to 20, I think he's like making his way there as we speak. And it would not surprise me at all for him to see him sell her. The handle obviously still needs to work. Can you get a basketball underwater to dribble? Jumping with those weights, that's my only quibble. But no, I'm with you. I don't know what the ceiling is. And I'm done with the ceiling because if you had asked me two years ago, I probably would have said, I don't know, top 40, top 35, and he's already beyond that because of the advancements he's made.

But I think the most, there's two things. As time goes on, we have something very recently talking about wind horse was on ESPN and he said, this is weeks old. And not anything new and obviously this feels like a net's leverage play here. They're trying to, to me, the report is more about the counter offer than the offer. It's about the fact that there's want to show the world that they're asking price is still so insanely high that they're not only do they want Jalen, but they want Marcus smarter rotation player in multiple picks. So I just am not touching either one of the J's if they can make it work because Durant really wants to come here and they can make it work like you said with all the other guys that are on their roster than fine. I'm okay with them not being super interested in Kevin Durant, not that that's a heartbreak or anything, but I'm fine with them going after it again with the Ross so that they have. I love Brogdon. So nee Smith, if you want to lump years one and two into one messed up year for him, maybe you can say, okay, I'm not bullish on it, but I agree with your point a 100%. You can't count on it, but you can be pleasant, pleasantly surprised if it happens. And if it is we've talked about this, there's no need to get rid of anyone, just for the sake of getting rid of them. I think you keep as much as you can here and you try to add to it. And if this value that you can improve upon and you're surprised by that, maybe you do make a move to surprise some people here. But I just don't see the starting line of changing on this team at all. Nor do I think it should. I just don't think there's opportunities. We're going to keep talking about BL. I think today, splash some more cold water on that, especially when work was asked about a super team. And he deferred to continuity in the Celtic extent. Brad rather talked about that a lot today too. Their identity, what they want to be and depth and all those sort of things. So I don't think bio is going anywhere anyway this summer, but you definitely kicks the can back on that potential. And we talked about that yesterday. If that's a possibility down the line in your offense is struggling to start this year and you really don't look like you're in a good spot with smart at point guard, then maybe you do kind of pull that escape valve and look at making that move with some of the salary and picks that you've assembled here..

"He was fine. But it's just a point that he was able to put the team on his back. The warriors didn't, as a team, gave you every opportunity the Celtics to take a three one series tonight. "That's the chef kiss. That's what I want to see from Jalen Brown. And that's what we got. And that changed the game. Yeah. So completely changed the game. And again, we've been over this and again, you and I are in agreement on this one. Like, I like mid range, mid range is sexy because to me a good shot is a good shot. We are a boomer. But it's not that. It's a good shot is a good shot. Right. What's bad is forcing your way into the paint because your coach told you you can only take threes or layups. And turning the ball over and getting offensive fouls. What's good is being 6 foot 7 super athletic being guarded by a 6 foot three guy and being able to jump right over the top of them and hit a free throw like elbow jumper or jumper from the free throw line. Those are going to go in 65% of the time. It's not a bad shot. That's not a long contested too. I don't care what the analytics say. That's a good shot. And Jalen breaks the mold because he makes that at a higher clip and probably more efficiently than anybody in the NBA over the last couple of years. It's what he does. Don't look that up. It's fact. It's great when he's cooking. The 5 38 did a big spread on Jalen Brown is the best bad shooter in basketball, meaning best.

"Explain, would you be thinking? I think from one perspective, there's no secret. I'm Friends with his sisters, but no, yeah, people just breaking news. But from that perspective, people make fun of him. They say he's old. And I think he's at a point in his career where he just wants to win. And that sounds like a redundant statement for anyone that's been in the league as long as he has. But I think he had, like he said, he didn't know what Giannis said to him, but whatever the way that he looked at him and just flipped the switch for him. And I think when you look at the way he's been incorporated back into this team, we've always talked about the leadership in what he brings to the table from that perspective. I think for him to be one of the players to step up shouldn't be a surprise because at any given game someone's going to have to step up. Everyone's been relying on Tatum and in this series he hasn't been the go to guy. And I think that's okay because they have enough depth on this roster to be able to rely on someone to step up. It's a risk because you don't know that's going to happen without you. You don't know, Giannis is going to look at him and turn that switch on for him, but it's needed. And we have had the Jalen Brown game. Everyone's going to have a game, I think, if they're willing to just step up and realize, all right, we're not playing to the intensity that we need. And fortunately, I was able to do that for them. Because honestly, in the first half, I was just like, all right. This team has done. Cash it in, mailed it in. I was like, the series is over. The podcast is going to just start talking about what's happening next season because I didn't see it happening. And what came back, then was most likely, if at all around the draft, well, and so why are you calling now? Because maybe these are teams that covet jaylen Brown that figure, hey, look, maybe we should get in on this now or try to, or see what we're going to have to do. And in one case, a GM told me, hey, you got to start preparing for these things. And because you have to be able to move fast if they show up. I think he's going to leap that and shoot above forty percent from three this year. He's already and has been one of the best perimeter defenders on this celtics team. So i like everything. You throw out that weird kyrie irving year second year for kyrie which is jalen brown second year and he has improved statistically in every single season he continues to work he continues to get better and what i see from jalen brown.
