And say we'll white and say i'm so of hyping came for a camila giorgi alina selena a third-round which is potentially on the cards so Yeah hopefully that. Hopefully that would happen Kind of keeping my fingers crossed for it. I space you. Also keeping fingers crossed for andy murray against k. issue corey Two wildcards of each other in the first round of san diego this week. A rubbish stroh. For for andy. I mean he keeps oversee as walker is going to be getting difficult rounds per you k nishikori not so easy Winner would play casper route as well as they gaze from. Sort of how to even hold a really decent wins this week. So hatefully. He's he's out for that. We've got of Headlining this one chapa valves. Their faa cam. Noreen down evans say they could face each other in the second round don evans is actually paying concern. We a fresh off the back of his i. I will say Lots of interesting not shops to forty this week annoyed harris came as well perennial dot wholesome any tournament. He is in any to fifty stories. And i feel like Say he's kinda qualifying fast round supromega. Lose it yeah. it's pretty. It's pretty pretty tasty. I think the bottom half is a little bit more studied in her cash as well. So yeah it's going to be tough. Finding murray just to get through to casper root against a security i think is going to be good effort. So yeah we'll wait and see but yeah just straight how betty ho like difficult draws murray's getting as a wildcard in in the first round and come up against nishikori. Yes great photographer. Organizes for the district security fads for barry fives is bit deflated. And last. But not least we've got the severe t fifty event in bulgaria. Jahic center is the defending champion on tees top-seed's trying to defend his title. Gilmore will be looking to stop that he's second seat but was a few. Australians in the alex munro john. "Like what are your. What's your advice on on doing that. You speak with the the father or how does that work for you. Well they both have two different data. So it's even more crushe. Not only are they away from me. Jahic like essentially only children allowed. Okay yeah after share. They don't have to you. Don't deal with being annoying and so it's not just me rebuilding connection with them. But they have to rebuild connection with each other when the omega yeah and then i also have two different personalities in two different co-parenting south seattle. Yeah i get a lot of experience. You have like a do they come back on the same day like decompre- or just gonna decompress so that we will during the year like my oldest comes back furs and so that is really helpful because i can have some solo talk with her because she's used to being doctors always happy years so she she need one more than the toddler does but now yes they come back on the same day and it's something i just roll with the punches anya. Honestly because they're humans and sometimes they come back. And i'm like oh my is like we're all best friends is great and then sometimes they come back and i'm like they're mostly home with me. And so we do have time to rebuild that connection. But i'm you've experienced this where you like okay. Everything's finally baghdad. But it yeah. I know we used to joke. Yeah exactly we used to joke that it would take like three days to get back onto our schedule like our normal. What's expected over here. And then like you said they turn around and they're at the other the other house and it's like a whole lake cycling. I don't wanna call vicious but it's a cycle that like goes on may be because i'm like this has to be a lot for kids. Yeah everything is completely different in. So i get that. And i understand that in when we empathize out loud. I think that our kids put their guard now instead of me just saying in my head. I'm like girl. I know you've been gone all week. It's ongoing this is probably a lot right now. What do you need the second you need. Y'all you wanna play. You wanna do. And i think her hearing Okay moms on my side. Yes i have attitude right now. But she's not mad at me from the energy energies. Maybe i can bring it up. That's awesome like an. I think for me in that situation. I think you know so when my daughter goes to her father's she has two older sisters like way older. So like twenty and then i think right at eighteen. So which you know. She's nine so they've had that relationship for a while. But it's going over there in coming over here in for a long time. She was the only child over here until we just had the baby and so but now when we introduced the little one i have to remind myself. Sometimes it like. She's probably feeling a lot of things right now. In know like mom's which is used to mom being. You know the. I get all the attention so i think like you said it's important that we realized that our children they're just human their little humans that don't really know how to express how they feel or how to even handle a lot of those emotions and then just taking a step back like you said like okay. Where do you need do. We need cuddle in the bed and watch some tv. Like do you want to go on a walk like just finding those things to help. Reiterates that you're there for them lake..

"Win streak talk about taking advantage of the momentum you build in that post wimbledon europe clay court stretch. She made the most of her schedule. Didn't play the olympics. Played those two fifty events built her confidence and match win streak heading into some big events here in the hardcourt summer and we all know danielle counts. Peak can be super super high. She's a grand slam semi-finalist. And so i wanna watch her. Run in san jose before i discussed that. I know there were other results last week as well. I can only really speak to the action. I saw unfold in dc so that is going to be the theme of today's episode. I wanna talk about jahic center becoming the youngest player in atp to history to win a five hundred level events now. of course the five hundred level relatively new. I want to say it was a mid-2000s invention but of course four yanic sentences third title in four finals in the past year Since november of twenty twenty he now sends two new career high of number fifteen in the atp rankings and look. We've talked about it. I want to say since we had been on the twenty nineteen next gracia podcast next gen tier show that we did where he declared center a tier one guy. I had them halfway between tier one and tier two obviously benz take proven correct. In this instance. Ben knows gingers. Better than anybody but look for unix. Enter to win the five hundred title dude as comfortably as he did show noticeable improvement in. What has been statistically. I suppose one of the weakest parts of his game. I think i test as well his servant. You know for him to talk all week about how he didn't play the olympics to use it as a training block to improve that serve. I want to talk about his performance in what was certainly a fantastic match filled with drama three-set final. He wins over. Mckenzie mcdonald indian for sinner. It's a seven five. Four six seven. Five victory wanna talk about that match talk about the ten set point blown by sinner inset number one mackie's comeback from five to down inset number three as well and then again offer some other takeaways. How the numbers advanced metrics and otherwise have changed over the past week. Of course before. I do any of that. I want to remind all of you listeners. That the reason we able to do this day in day out is because of the support we get from all of you. The support we get from our crack racquets patriot family and of course the support. We get from our friends over at tennis point. You all know the deal. Tennis dash point dot com for the best equipment at the best prices. If you use our promo code cr fifteen you'll get fifteen percent off your order. Free two day shipping on all orders exceeding seventy five dollars. Best of all a free can of wilson extra duty tennis balls again. We're so grateful for their continued support. The least we can do ask you to support them as well. Tennis dash point the symbol not the spelling. Tennis dash point dot com. The promo code is cr fifteen again. I promise i maybe not tomorrow. Because i'm going to count minoa. It is going to be tomorrow. I'm going to kalamazoo but at the opportunity to watch some tennis. Certainly hopefully throughout the day and be able to catch you all up. Then get us going for the one thousand level event happening in canada but for now. Let's wrap the burp the final bow. I suppose on the action in dc sin man jahic sinner delivers. The title gets his first as i mentioned. Eighty p five hundred level of victory. Seven five four six seven five in the final over mckenzie. Mcdonald's look for sinner. now he's forty five and twenty one in his last fifty two weeks of play that to sixty eight percent win percentage. What do we say all of the time here. When you're winning two thirds of your matches at any given level it's time for you to progress up the rankings new look for jahic center who goes on ranked at the start of twenty nineteen to you know our two inside. I think it number thirty darrow was like right inside the top one hundred by the end and then he's at two number thirty seven. I believe by the end of twenty twenty. Now he's up to number fifteen in the rankings. Those are the sort of jumps. The constant progressions go to the challenger level dominated. Go to the to fifty level win two titles. Now when you're first at the five hundred level as well the ascension you see from player who ultimately ends up as a top ten top five sort of guy in the atp tour ecosystem and you look for yanic center over these last fifty two weeks. I mentioned some of these stats earlier. But twenty and fourteen against top fifty opponents. Eight and ten against the top twenty three and eight against the top ten. It's worth remembering. He's doing all of at the age of nineteen years old and of all the players born two thousand or later he's the guy with the most titles he's got three. That's the leader in the group. And i've mentioned this club repeatedly because starting to make sense to me you know f as made eight titles Eight finals excuse me. Centers made four quarter nakashima to those are your two thousand or later leaders jahic centers the leader of that group right now. He's surpassed Certainly felix your seem in yes felix felix's made fourth-round at three of the four majors. Bionic made a quarterfinal at the twenty twenty french open and you just see the power tennis that he plays. He can reach a speed the very few if any can match. It's off of both wings. Forehand backhand so fundamentally sound so compact off of both strokes as well. It's not and so there's this big whipper a glaring discernible weakness from the baseline. And i mentioned this on yesterday's podcast but watching him in person. He is every bit the six to he is listed at an. It's a lot of arms. It's a lot of legs but that length is real nice ability to take that ball early. Hit the ball cleanly just open up angle when he whips that forehand across quarter his ability to open up ankle with the backhand wing. He's one of those few guys. I mentioned it. It's like jovovich zero sinner. I mean there are a couple other in there as well but who can actually hit through court. Cross court off of their backhand wing. That's how dynamic is off of both sides. And then he's an incredible volleyer like his ability to move forward. Finish at the net not only know where to go what to do but actually have feel play. The dropshot play a little bit of slice on the backhand side. He can do a little bit of everything in his gear from start to finish was better than mcdonalds and yet mackey hung around and mackey competed so well all week long and this is where we'll get into jahic sinner serve a know created a ton of chances for himself on the return of serve. He honestly had more success in sinner service games and set number one than he did his own and you know obviously phreatic center. He had ten set points inset number one and wasn't able to convert you know any of them until the five six service game packages played it. Kind of you know who's hanging on by thread for so long in that i suddenly just played a loose game. They're up but you know whether it was miss second-serve returns or just you know sloppy i ball heirs or two mackie's credit a big first serve big plus one ball. It's just because jahic center. And i said this one on monday match analysis. My friend bill. Gross returning champion here at craft rackets many times a show to discuss this as well. It is one a little one dimensional. Now it's the best dimension to live and he lives in the dimension of the top five top ten players in terms of ball striking ability from the baseline. But you know again. I guess when you a question. I always like to ask nowadays. What's the weakness. I'm not exactly sure what the weakness perhaps of you can say the serve statistically but nineteen years old. That serve is going to get better. We'll get there in a second. You know the weaknesses. It's one speed. It's a lot of power tennis and you could tell. As the match went on mackey found his rhythm and mackie's a guy who wants to take the ball early hit the ball flat. Use your spin to keep his ball in the court get that ball down and he found it took him a couple of games but he found his rhythm. He found the cadence against center. And i've said it all week long have said it throughout his career since we've had the podcast mackey as good of a ball striker as you're gonna find on the atp tour. I'm not saying he's the best. I'm saying he is as good as anyone. You're gonna find on the atp tour and he started using the topspin of center to take the ball early up the line mixed in dropshots moved comfortably forward to the net. You look for mackey in terms of the statistics from the match. I mean got better and better as the match went on ends up winning sixty six percent of his first-serve points at sixty three. You know he made sixty three percent of his first serves at a good clip and he fought off. Sixteen of the twenty one break points he faced in this match. Who is absolutely spectacular. And you know mackie's not a guy who shows a lot of outward emotion he did in this match and the dc crowd. They embraced him. It made for a super super special electric environment and again when mackie's clicking i call it mackey ball it spectacular up early inside the baseline on the rise both wings his backhand super compact again his ability to absorb redirect on that wing. While i think it's a little harder for him to generate pace on that side sinners providing you all of the peso mackey was not lacking the big thing was the second servant you know twenty one forty six on second serve points center was able even on first-serve looks to just get a clean rip on the balk at the point back to neutral. Meanwhile sinner only made fifty percent of his first-serve but he won seventy two percent of those first-serve points in look for yanic center. I mean the numbers on serve for him. This past week were absolutely spectacular against you know dating back. He won eighty one percent. Excuse me eighty five percent of his first points against roussev avoriaz. Seventy two percent against court on ninety three against johnson. Eighty-three against brooks be now. Here against a fantastic returner. In mackey he went seventy two percent of them fights off seven of the eleven break points. He faced put a really bad service. Game up five three serving for that third set in the end but look it was funny because he gets broken for four five then he creates a couple of matchpoint chances for himself that mackey of course escapes from four five on jahic centers. A guy who's not for his composure known for his poise. He was furious the look and the body language and the gesture he made toward his box. And i apologize for swearing but he was like listen. You guys like whatever we're doing here. It's not working and i'm not saying he was blaming his box. But the is internal theories that gets an for myself. It's not working. And i'm angry at this and i don't know why i've had twenty one break point chances. And yet were deep in the third set. And i could very well lose his match to mackenzie mcdonnell and guess what he really could have. Lost this match. Mackie made the most of his chances and just he plays a high risk high variance game but when that ball is landing in the court. He's taking the ball early and just really difficult He's gonna hang with you because he he is a top ten. I think mover on a hardcourt. He is that quick and it's super super exciting tennis to watch but look this mattress on centers racket from the start. He had more power in the end. His topspin overwhelmed mackey mcdonnell. There was too difficult for mac and half to keep responding reacting going big down the line eventually sinners power one out and look. I've mentioned the serving numbers all week. Long he's forty. I amongst was forty first coming into the week amongst top ten players in top fifty players in first-serve points when he was thirty third in hold percentage. Those numbers after this week are up to both number thirty one amongst top fifty players on the atp to or speaks to you know again the lack of sample size and how quickly these numbers can change but it speaks to the fact that his service improving again. He said clearly in his press conferences. I did not play olympics. Because i wanted a training block and during that training block i worked specifically on my serve in that work pay dividends. And if you're watching a young player you're trying to see how they progress. You wanna see the things that they are working on and you want to know that the things they're working on are making progress. And i think anyone who watched senator this week knows that his serve made progress and again i e p five hundred title of his career third at the level overall four final. Four him In these last fifty two weeks in terms of just how many quarterfinals he's made that is now he's made nine quarterfinals in the i believe let's see twenty four events that he's played up to number fifteen in the world. You look at the race to the urine final center currently at number ten. I mean he's guy could play the next gen finals and he's got a pathway to the year end finals as well. You look for him. He's twelve now in overall ratings fourteenth in twenty twenty one e low rating. I mentioned. He's thirty first right now. In hold percentage he is now up. I believe let's see two four six eight ten twelve fourteen fifteenth in break percentage and he's nineteen years old jahic centers in absolute stud and again mackey mcdonald big winner from the past week. He goes up to number sixty four in the rankings at seven off his career high of number fifty seven which he reached back in twenty nineteen. He's thirty first now in the race to the year end finals. He's currently You look at the overall elo ratings. He went from number ninety eight last week. Up to number fifty eight this week. You look here. Twenty twenty one results. She's thirty six over. I think that's right. He's been a top fifty player borderline top thirty here. This season finals of the city opened forefront round of the australian open a lot of good hardcore results for mackey mcdonald. They are both unequivocally to winners of the week. Was fantastic tennis again. When you have ten points in the first set when you have twenty one break points in the match. It was on yanic centers racket but mackey competed so well you could tell the confidence he took from this event you could tell his embracing of the crowd even in a loss. He left it on the court. He brought his best tennis in. That moment played the best he could given the opponent and he showed that he is right there a with a guy who is one of the ten best talents on the atp tour and so again. That was your final in dc in terms of some final takeaways here to wrap the show. Because as i mentioned. I'm going to be talking san jose all the other. Atp nwea action next week will bring in some kalamazoo talk. I know i have to preview and discuss the thousand level events on both the men's and women's had the return of simone halla. I'm well aware that we've got action going down in canada and in kalamazoo and in san diego. It's our job here. Crack rackets to cover all of it. So yes i know understand. My voice may sound a little bit horse today. rest assured. I'm just hitting the home stretch. I'm ready to rock and roll. But again i'll look a we cover the challenger podcast on the gop lookout for more podcast in the near future on all of those topics but some final takeaways from the twenty twenty one city open. We got to. I know i talked brooks stats yesterday. Jensen brooks be though currently ranked number twenty one in overall eighty yellow. you go to hard courts. Specific yellow jensen brooks be right now. I mean it's laughable. Just how high. This kid is up to the the hard courts specific Elo ratings you look for him. He's i believe right now number nine teen amongst all players that you know certainly a a little bit i mean you gotta love to see that sort of metric. He's currently ranked. I believe seventeenth in twenty twenty one specific yellow. You look at his splits. And how would they would break down overall over these last fifty two weeks. His hold percentage of eighty two point. One that number would be good. I believe Four number seventeenth tied with taylor. Fritzy look at his break percentage of over these last fifty two weeks. Thirty two point. Three that number would be good for fourth trailing just djokovic nadal schwartzman now of course you have to adjust for competition but the metrics say at the. I say i'm not saying he's a grand slam champion in now or in the future. I am saying if we all see it. Definitely top seventy five guy. I would say certainly top fifty belongs at the atp level on hard courts. You look at some of the other winners. I mentioned maquis mcdonald his big rise up the elo ratings. Gotta give a shout out to stevie j as well. He's playing good tennis. He's made a move back up and again. It's it's nothing crazy. Be look for cv johnson. He's back up to number eighty. I think a big run. This season for dennis could lie eighty nine. I mean they both have been top. One hundred players and i think you know the rankings reflect that fact as well and by the way worth mentioning once again fourteen americans this week in the top. One hundred haven't had that number in a super long amount of time. You talk about the people right now. Who are act career-high ct pass by the way within dull losing the city open surpasses him. So now it's jovovich one med. That have to seats pas. Three nidal four zero five team six rube love career. High seven bertini career-high h appalled sought a career high of ten roads at twelve centers. At fifteen you look up and down cam nori up to new career. High number twenty eight for the vintage keyna's at thirty four quarters at forty five alcatraz new career high right now the live rankings number fifty four nakashima at number eighty six. You know stern dolo. Who had a big week last week one challenger he's up to new career high francisco of number one eleven. All those names young guys. Twenty four or younger twenty three twenty two twenty one range. They're making their move to generational shift. We talk about repeatedly is happening in front of our eyes. Let's not miss that fact. And so obviously. Let's enjoy that here at cracked rackets but again that's the takeaways from dc was super fun to be on the grounds. I can't think people. Like steve pratt. Marsin carlos silva Obviously been rothenberg for putting up with all my crap all front counseling. "Storylines results and controversies from the tennis world. Today is sunday august eighth. I do apologize for the background noise. I am recording this. Podcast live on. The grounds of the city opened the tournament in dc. Coming to a conclusion today we should have an outstanding men singles final as we've got mackey mcdonald the twenty sixteen. Ncaa singles and doubles champion. A guy who has made multiple fourth-round at majors but never in atp level final until today he's going to take on the face of the nexgen atp two point. Oh of course jahic sinners rise on the atp tour. It's been dramatic. It has certainly been noticeable. He's now made his fourth. Atp finals in the last fifty two weeks he's comfortably inside the top twenty of the atp rankings that he's not even twenty years old and it takes two seconds of watching him play to realize how abundant the talent he possesses is of course that power tennis. I had a coach onsite. Say they have never seen someone routinely hit the ball that big since maybe you know excluding prime rafa and just the heaviness of that forehand and again. It was a credible coach. It wasn't just something. I overheard in the crowd to hear others peers of jahic center. Speak of him that way that speaks to his talent again should be fantastic. Final what i want to do on. Today's show is breakdown. These past two days of the city open. I do apologize for the lack of podcasts. Over these past two days. It's been difficult to find the right time. You know these press conferences pop up on you and then of course by the time. Everything's wrapped up play concludes. It's like eleven. Twelve o'clock. I gotta drive back to dc. I get there. My buddy is in the apartment sometimes and he doesn't want me to record that late. I'm just drained. And i've been passing out as i had these past two days but nevertheless i feel like i all listeners. Update on how we got to these finals. I will be doing an update on what happens in the final later today. I will also of course be breaking down everything else. That's happened this week across the professional tennis world. I haven't missed danielle collins. Run out in san jose. She's been phenomenal all week long. And you know obviously for her to knock out on on acopia in the fashion. She did yesterday. That's a match that deserves. Its own breakdown. But i haven't quite had enough time to watch enough of the highlight enough of the match to talk about it the way i want to talk about of course doria cash. Akina has had a fantastic run this week as well. We've had some interesting action happening elsewhere on the w. t. tour the challenger circuit. I'm going to save those topics. Four when i talk about today's city open final so again on today show i just wanna talk about the action on the grounds here in dc. Of course before. I can do that. I have to remind all of your listeners. At the reason these podcasts are made possible day in day out is because the support we get from all the view from our crack racquets patriot family and of course from our friends over at ten point you may have heard me say it last week. If you are going to cincinnati let us at crack racquets know our plan to do a live show on quarterfinal friday on the grounds of the western southern open. Were still working. A few things out with our friends over at tennis. Point are certainly excited to be able to do that. Obviously will be taken requests on. The topics wants to cover. It will obviously be western southern centric but of course anything else you'd like us to head. We are certainly hoping for the chance to do that so again..

"Alina loses in the second round to magdalena and belinda. Bench loses in the first round to keva. Yeah you tweeted something about this. Because we are still sort of trolling bench for her comments. On naomi a- craving attention or needing to be in the talk as she said I think you underestimated the Disdain for bench around the internet. Well i think because happened a few years ago that loss. That was a semi final. Win over serena at the rogers cope planted the seed for this to happen all these years later and i remember watching that and feeling annoyed by it. But it wasn't at her. It was because the rogers cup set off fireworks. Drake was aired it. Yeah so i felt. Maybe she took a little too much flack but they're apparently. There are a number of people on tennis twitter. Who don't feel kindly tour victoria. As a wrinkle lost saronic hairstyle in the third round heading into this tournament. I had said on the last episode. Watch out for visa. And how her injury situation holes up and this tournament and she looked for the most part fine physically but you might say mentally. She kind of fell apart in the third set against cure. Stay to care stairs credit if you are somebody who feels generous enough to give her any credit for anything in tennis or life. She played well. Yeah yeah those double-faults davita mentally really just lost it in that third. Set it. You know. It did really looked way more psychological than physical. The big. the first big upset of the tournament was francis off. Oh beating stephanos t. Tip us in us. I feel like we since we are wrong. So frequently we have to take a little bit of credit or you have to take some credit for giving francis a really good chance in this match and he came out with a plan played so professionally returned a hell of a lot better than stuff on us and it was just so cool to watch and it really felt like francis was putting something together taking credit for calling. That doesn't really mean much to me. Because i feel like the signs were there as mad. Video is up to love in the fifth so dear sits about maybe a little hungover from the roland garros final. He didn't play any tournaments. Before wimbledon grass and his grandmother had just died the that too. It feels like a long time ago but it's not and annesley. His return game is just not there yet for grass it. It's exposed too much right now. The majority of the top ten seeds remained through to the fourth round on the men's side. Some of the earlier upsets if you can call them. That casper rude definitely was playing well especially on clay heading into this tournament. Muste who made the semi's the week prior demon won a title and yannick sinner not necessarily for his grasp prowess that he brought to this tournament. But i- caching name recognition. Yeah yeah buzz. Boris becker said on tv today that he spoke with jahic and jahic told him allegedly that he's just not figured out how to plan grass yet. So you mean to tell me. You are watching tennis broadcast that. Boris becker was on and you stayed channel enough to take in the information. There was no choice because feed available almost fell off the exercise by trying to trying to reach for the ramirez changes. As soon as you heard. Becker on the call only to change to the same match another channel to get john mcenroe trick michael. No today this was the curious. Oj seem match. And becker andrew castle. Where the only feed. I could find. And i just kind of had to suffer through it because i don't want to sit there in silence especially during a curious match. There were upsets. There were also some surprises for me. Christian green is one of the surprises of this tournament making the fourth round. He hasn't had a very difficult run. Pedro martinez got rid of more fees for him and so getting beaten martinez in the third round and he'll now face jovovich and the fourth good lunch that man vasco and work also quietly slid into the wrong of sixteen eventual. It's nice to see this. Because he has put together a stellar year for him he took us set from that all on. Clay whipple on. You're you're saying that still your includes winning one set unclaimed. That's not all hold on there. Were there not comments. I'm just saying it was the first thing you know i mean. He has really been gearing up and he's been playing well. He gave federer a good fight at hollow. He beat zverev at munich. Which there's you'll recall is his fucking court and i quote just say okay. Great to see a really good result here from joschka and or koch just kind of doing his business quietly and efficiently over there. He's had a bit of a dip in recent months since we winning my only here whether yesterday i know i know saying it's nice to see him. Reemerge after you know. We've also seen quite a few people who've done well at roland-garros play well at wimbledon as well coco gov is into the second week of both tournaments on the women's side. You've got rebecca following up. Her quarterfinal admiral and garrels. Now she's in the fourth round here. Critique uva is also in the fourth round screen duck. I kind of quipped joked on the preview episode. That what exactly is taylor for. It's going to be doing at this tournament. Given that he had just had knee surgery right at. I was like why is he playing at all. And then he gets through to long matches one three hours one almost four hours in the first two rounds. And it's like okay. He just had meniscus surgery three weeks ago and he decided to play and he cut off his hair his strength. His sam sonian power. Yeah it looked like in a hotel room by himself with a young woman and he then goes on in the third row to take the opening set from he who shall not be named With the last letter of the alphabet martin future vich beat both yanic center and diego schwartzman on to the round of sixteen. This is the fourth time that he's been in the fourth round but never advancing to the quarterfinals. And guess who he will play next andre kruglov. This'll be the fifth time they've played just this year and full. Jovic has not won any of those yet. I feel like this is a good time to take him out it right. This would be a good time to turn the tide. Rubio of isn't as consistent as he's been over the prior year during the fall and winter. And i think the the surface works better for this matchup in favor. Karen huchon off. I did not see. It was kind of been languishing. I thought that was. I mean a pretty good up for t- ofo given the way he was playing and francis. I dunno didn't didn't really seem to show up for the match. I trow kind of routined him in this one. The surprise here wasn't so much that huchon obt off. Oh was that. China is here to begin with right right the easy for me. He's stalled in his career. I'm shocked to learn that. He's twenty five years old already is like he's younger even though he looks like he's been thirty for ten years and for somebody who had so much promise earlier on in his career hasn't really delivered he's made one slam quarterfinal at the french. Open a couple of years ago but he was the first of this russian generation to really break out winning the paris..

"Simplifies the game for djokovic. Machete just keeps you on your back foot. Keeps you so off-balance. Those first two sets testament to his performance as much as it was to anything. Novak djokovic wasn't doing but in the end jovovich advances six seven six seven six one six four love via retirement. There was a little bit of a scandal afterwards. Set send could. I have kept playing. May but you know. I don't think i was injured. I just i couldn't play on or whatever he's eighteen year old kid. I don't have any particularly strong thoughts on that. It was a moment of honesty. Like isn't that what we ask of these athletes to be honest. I'm not going to criticize him. For being honest and the honest take away again is he. Outplayed joke vich. In those two tiebreakers. He outplayed him in sets one and two and that is a huge step forward for the young italian who excuse me just turned nineteen years old at the start of martin. The best is only yet to come. He's inside the top sixty five of the live rankings. I don't anticipate barring an injury. He will drop out of them anytime soon. But if you're joke of its fan. He advances and ultimately. That's what matters because we all hope we get the shot to see that djokovic nadal matchup and speaking of which let's just get to raf a next This was a scary good performance for roffe on the doll. And why now should there be that semifinal match up barring jovic hitting another level against bertini which he very well could. I'm leaning towards rafa on the dog because for jovovich a steady game plan for him. You know. I don't think his level deviated too much from start to finish in this match that you know again that result move studied taking the first two sets as i just laid out had a lot to do with the level through renton who said he was playing at noodles. Level got not only just noticeably better but the numbers reflected as well he just clearly did not start this match out as well as he wanted to and then by the end of this match who was firing on all cylinders and that is a scary note for anyone else still remaining in this men's singles draw as he advances with a seven five six. Three six love win over jahic center. Let's start with what went well for center. Goes down to love early break of serve in the first sad and you start to think to yourself up. It's just going to be another typical day at the office for an adult of the youngsters. Gonna blink..

"Let's talk about the headliners on today's show as rafael nidal. Ecosphere tech and novak djokovic all pushed in different ways on day nine of the two thousand twenty one french open now rafa iga your prohibitive favorites to take home the singles titles this year and look neither have dropped a set yet in this event and yet we have seen them both tested in particular whether it was martha kostia against iga today or jahic sinner against rafa. Those were both very interesting matches matches that i think. Tell us a lot moving forward through the rest of this draw. Some wanna break them down. I also have to talk about novak djokovic. Lorenzo musetti musetti. Taking those first two sets seven six. Unfortunately physically just dropped off that in that speaks to the test that is facing novak djokovic that match provided some entertaining tennis probably the best tennis. I saw all day long. At least through those first two sets so those will be the three breakdowns also have to talk about the continued to send of maria soccer. She reaches her first grand slam quarterfinal and in fact the twenty twenty one french open providing a record on the women's side six first time grand slam quarter finalists. Make the quarterfinal round of this event. That is in open era record coming from our friend. Alex mcpherson the sixth first-time quarter-finalists the dan but dosa rebecca crutch cova goff and maria. Soccer now added to that list as she dominated defending finalists. Sonia cannon in her fourth-round victory. Of course we'll touch on all of the matches throughout the day as well going to leave the day ten preview i suppose in in the rear view mirror. I feel like by the time some of you. Listen to this podcast. That day will probably already been finished since there are only four matches on that day or leading up to that medvedev pasta result anyways. Today's focus going to be danine. "Eight hundred seventy nine yards eight touchdowns receiving a lot. You know receiving line with the league's best of eleven point four yards per target because he was big three or four Been he got suspended for the final. Five games yeah. He's also spader for harmony. I think is just week one. I think he's just wanted a season But yet is door abilities. The issues are said. Ms twenty two games during the first four. Nfl seasons that's a lot of games. Guys. So nice news. But he's still still young. He's still can make you happy bounce back so would all be it said regardless Hopefully you know some changes that comes about within the next. I guess year four I like to. I like the dolphins. So i would see number eleven on his list. Denver broncos were they selected. Cornerback kaufeler in ronald darby. Replacing michael juno dea in aj bone boy. czar it boy So boy a is A stat line is passage with eight tackles notice sections when you play quarterback is we need at least one to what a piece averaged on. This is a hopes. He told me out of the sixteen games. You can jump on one route. One Fuller in darby's combined twenty projection is tackled five more than Previous holders of the position and three interceptions which is a big of great those turnovers for scher Let's not forget that they drafted patrick thirteen. In the first round combined with returner bryce calhoun in between twenty third round. Pick a judea. Denver now has one of the league's best in deepest cornerback groups if you include. Safeties justin simmons a kareem jackson. The broncos have the best secondary overall in The thing is it has improved. It's like okay. All of this sounds good All good but duty more from it. fuller was fullest terrific during his time in chicago which included. Tony sees where he allowed a fourteen of only forty seven catches six hundred yards Three receiving touchdowns on eighty targets while handling Toil coverage snaps So that's not bad. Five hundred twelve snaps eighty balls convenience way on three ended up in touchdowns okay In a got six hundred dollars off of not terrible Darby who His was a he. He writes six in coverage dance with five hundred five why he allowed sixty word catches eight hundred fourteen yards in two touchdowns so one less touchdown in a little bit more yards and stuff from their house on one hundred eight so it's a lot more targets that's possibly why trinidad way But yet still only allowed two touchdowns on a hundred eight. Ball's coming your way. This as i feel like that's a good way to measure. How will your diesel doing Is good tehran Pickup diverse defense at finished twenty seventh between night in a force turnovers during the past two seasons But the offseason ejected a talent figures to the league. You know in better showing is definitely come for them. Twenty twenty one as they have those new individuals number two in the second time out of the three mentioning washington football team. This one is because quarterback william jackson. The third is replaced in ronald darby. Own happened kind of big news Because jackson is better hands than darby reportedly so diabetes past season at fifty five tackles known sessions jackson's projected. Twenty twenty one stats are five tackles two point five sections by knows. He's a little bit better within man. darby is salad. Db jackson is just one of the league's best you cover corners which makes deciding the bedouin offseason the best option To set a seventy fifth percentile or better cornerback. Perf pro football focus grade It three of his four phil season jackson has made impact despite being Tasked with occasional shadow duties against top wide receivers His twenty twenty nine midst included. Aj brown t. y. Hilton terry mclaren. Devante parker dairy slayton sean jackson so i slight work with good enough to compete with Jackson was targeted on sixty nine of his four hundred thirty one covered snaps in limited opponents to only three thirty three kitchens foul yards two touchdowns okay This is a decent move. I still don't know if it should be this. It was definitely a decent move. Vx me it's gonna make a difference for that team midst. Narrating minnesota vikings get in dalvin tomlinson to replace him mar steffen. Who what a grab man. So stephan you know. Pass at thirty four tackles half sack dowding thomas. Who's a little. Bit of unstoppable maniac. Sometimes there is project. Get fifty two tackles in three one secs In twenty twenty minnesota's defects Was one of the worst. As i've already stated was we talked about them. A greatest secondary. Okay The vikings twenty seven th in yards allowed after finishing in the upper half of the league in the previous season. So this was a big change for them. They finished twenty eight points allowed after five. Straight top seven finishes and also right near the bottom of the league enforce bubbles sacks and tackles for losses. This is new to them. I'm pretty sure freaked down by this whole overhaul so very quickly but workout. The they made the right moves It's no surprise that the team had made these aggressive moves. Being they shocked by these results. the biggest acquisition was tomlinson. To me he's twenty seventeen second round pick by the giants who basically merged as one of the league's top interior defensive linemen last season. He's twenty seven years old but he racked up forty nine tackles nine and a half of those losses Three point five six in four pass. Deflections are like whoa. We're talking about going to that from somebody. That only had half saxon already told you how much they was hurting tackles for loss team so up wait With these guys because he also have their have their who joins his michael pierre pierce he opted out and twenty so he's coming back But these two you know are gay. Adwa dale hunter air kendricks entity bar The all quebec healthy and improving the secondary has said they will. This defense will be tapped to legs flip a whole three stacey almost very excited to see how it plays up number owed show eight. Las vegas raiders the edge rusher jahic new gook replaces arden ki ki. This past season. Fifteen tackles no sex. Your edge player. We don't need that. We need to get back there. Which is what jahic is expected to. He's just to have thirty four tackles nine point. Three secs like huge difference key. Gang traded season changes differences. We'll talk about here He had a busy twenty twenty season. being traded from jacksonville minnesota later baltimore took a six year olds still emerged rack up eight sacks and four forced fumbles okay so what replacing the guy that got no sex yes of course That's par for the For the course for player who joys aaron donald there thomas demarcus ware reggie white as only players in nfl history with at least eight sacks in each of their first five seasons are. He's opened that group of individuals Las vegas now is plenty of potential in you know the sag department with having him join a youngsters. Max crosby climbed for rail in malcolm coats own age. It's gonna be..

"Now on the eighteenth of march nineteen ninety stole thirteen works of art including masterpieces by rembrandt and vermeer from the isabella stewart gardner museum in boston massachusetts. The extraordinary story of that night and thirty years of investigation and intrigue that followed the subject of a new four part series on netflix. Could this is a robbery. I spoke to jeff siegel producer of the series about the greatest art host in history. Jeff to begin with. Let's set the scene. What happened in march. Nineteen ninety at the golden museum in boston. So saint patrick's day night in boston march seventeenth into the eighteenth. Nineteen ninety two men dressed as police officers. Ring the doorbell for the security desk at the isabella stewart gardner museum and are buzzed in pretty quickly by the guard on duty and without much effort are able to lower the guard away from the security desk away from the only panic button leading to the outside world and are able to can him have him call down the other security guard who is on the rounds and you know in just a matter of minutes. Basically taking control over the whole museum fairly effortlessly it seems like The protocol was that that it shouldn't be that easy but it turned out to be that easy and the two men obviously turn out to. Police officers handcuffed the the two guards and tie them up down in the basement of the museum before going on and eighty one minute excursion through the museum and stealing thirteen pieces of art including a few masterworks. That are just unbelievably priceless. A rembrandt storm on the sea of galilee. Another rembrandt ladies and gentlemen in black. The vermeer one only thirty four thirty five in the world. The concert as well as the one of the more curious ones being the matinee stolen from the blue room downstairs the shea tour tony as well as a few other a few other items that are not necessarily of such great value monetarily or as well known which is part of. What's kind of confounding about what what was stolen there. They stole a five day. Gos- sketches but also a chinese who and the final from an opole jahic flag which are two items. That just don't a lot of people don't really seem to fit in with everything else that was stolen

"Relations game place. He beans until one. But if i had to choose one Difficult to choose. I think that is will be to do something new that no one else has already thought about it. Wink wink or discover something new and develop pits until finding the best of the mutation a half soul of inventory and hangar to great new things in the and then share this. Discover this invention to the community. Whatever will be the shape or way. Well that sounds exciting. Fun the more things we can do to get people playing the game. The better i think. So what are your thoughts on the upcoming great joys. Then well they lose weight the games. I already played with them and against them. I enjoy that a lot because they function entity is unique and really will represented from books to this game. Also the new pillet mechanics are excellent. And i think they are as solid action that blaze his own style excelllent healing and frankie mechanics june. It's really persistent and annoying for your opponent. If you're play them well also. They are cheap units and i love some tactic in the thick satires. The cracking swath. I think is a win option. That conditions hallowed your enemy choice on the tactics world. Yeah it's really cool to see cards that you can play that. Make them after. Think about you know everything do so. They claim his own. They've got to pay a price and that'll be really fun to to get more practice in with the. I love this masonic about the jewish. Maybe the automakers you need with eric. I know mike on avon gray and see us will be eyestone to break but now it's too soon and we. We're seeing the future this unit action. Yeah i'm excited. Are there any characters or mechanics. He'd like to see explored Lots to talk here. I like to see the whole without banners with lady john hart. The house are in with his chinese calgary knights. Of course they house martell. I help will arrive soon. This universe i think will bring us lot of new fax factions on it. Simply huge. I would love to see in future. Some representatives also of house than darian kenington. Gotta look yeah. They are so cool and also more unison factions. Maybe from the other side of the narrow she that would be cool. Yeah of course. I reserve the west to the end. The other faction where. I especially want to say thank you taste for your brilliant contributions with your the others found may factions both the original version one point zero and the dated one way to thank you and that was about by jahic burr. But it's good to hear that people are still getting the test out and experiment with them. Do you think we'll get the others faction. Someday i pray for this indeed. I tasted some mere tours of workers as by aladdin mini-truce or ice spiders with his writers. And i personally made upon version of the night king on his dombi dragon be syrian. May bite mcfarland. At really affordable price by the way in the commercial advertising. Here joke integration. I use one to say that. I love this fan made faction a lot and i hope that the book winds of winter will bring us defection officially into game. That will be amazing young also about your initial question the new mechanics to improve in this game. I would like to say that. I think that the best word games are those that every unit or ability can be contradict or nullify somehow if your opponent is smart enough or skit for these like those games where overboard on. An unstoppable unit can win the game by himself. No matter what your opponent us or against them. I mean the classic devastat concept you know. I can simplify this concept saying that. I really like the games like rock paper scissors or if you want. Can we improve it with this out on facebook because we so i mean that those games where everyone in the game can be defeated choosing. The right tool are call for me in this line of thought. I would love to see for this game. Some new game mechanics for example. When to remove positive tokens to enemy units. Sata's faith or pillet or corpse tokens. Those new positive tokens that anti now. There is no any mechanic for the enemy to remove them from the whether you think i will this so having the way to remove token somehow like a positive token. Oh that can be really. That's unexplored territory. I think they could definitely be something down the line. Yeah because to can remove. Negative tokens atas panic attack. And can. but not the positive tokens. I would like to see new game mechanics to an link enemy night. What's boats or persistent cards. That remain attached to unit antolin of the round. Sata's stygian in unstoppable advance or off the ground and so on nowadays are untold by the opponent and remove. Then no way. I think this will improve to and finally i would like to see mechanics or remove the tokens from your own units for example to use the powder twice around. If you play them well. I think this will be an interesting mechanic but not happy not overpowered dust. More fun yeah. I wonder if like feature factions if there's room to start incorporating some of those elements and bringing them into the game. I hope so. So where can people find your content and any upcoming projects people should know about. You can find me out. I don't throw them both. Michael with additional content of this brilliant wargame half been allowed me in many ways. Of course the podcast on boxing's. Bdo's within articles in blogs fund made translations and leagues and tournaments us organizer also a sponsor of those events making free throws of unit boxes between listeners. And i think a little bit. We will see what future bring us. Maybe some more collaborations and interviews new women's staff related with this game for sure. And i have some prices. That are almost ready wink all right. Well i'm looking forward to finding out more and Thank you so much for coming on a before we wrap things up For those that are maybe listening and are spanish speakers. Is there a message. You'd want to say to them in spanish. Those e one of as the wisconsin. I see all right. I'll take your word at that. Yes if you let me and gorgeous absolutely okay. Finally i want to say. Thank you to all my friends and collaborators. That's made these three impossible me loose ball. Tango also be lamb. Winkler your next learn a lot angusta war and also to the people the we have interview it and participated in some of our programs. "Was designed by coach Doug Peterson. Faintly NFL live. And then did you see this last night, historic eight way tie at the scripts national spelling, bee the eight contestants were named co champions as they every word correctly, and they could've gone on all night, so they are young teens after all I guess I had with the lights out down at some point. And if you consider that this whole process was eleven million kids participate in the national spelling bee against then if you say down to eight is kind of all right. But I don't know I kind of see like a two way tie, but say tie. Love to see him. Just Bali out ballet, like a cage or something just keep going with out of ways to create some sudden, death overtime. Right. I'm thinking about James Harrison, who to sort of not in participation trophies, if you years ago. Like what do you think he's thinking right now? Eight tie. "So I went back, and as I went back at that same time is when I started. Learning marketing invested Jahic silvers cooperating or shop wrote my first sales letter for an online coaching program. I knew some people were doing online coaching, and I had a really small list of maybe seven or eight hundred people or something that followed me from. The articles that I read in came over website and signed up for free newsletter. So they are they're hyper engaged people because I renamed I didn't even understand the concept of a free report or lead magnet writing to entice people to sign up. These are people just like wanted to hear more from me. But anyway, listened six hundred people were the sales letter wants my coaching program, and I was going to school same time. But when I launched that, I think we got like. Forty some people into the program two hundred bucks a month. So as a Adrian among is making, and that's what I started to really believe that I do this, you know. And then I was like all right. Well, at the coach program thing now, just got more people. My Email will how do that mccranie. Bug on the people don't promote a customers do on these product launches that Jeff Walker Frank turn or China mastered. We're talking about and then, you know, next on just piecing together. What's the next step was next step? And that was the euro everything turnaround. I went back to school for one year. Unfortunately, I worked around the clock. I was two fulltime jobs. I was working school fulltime to pay my bills than I was working on the business fulltime after sleeping, maybe.

"Or or I guess it's now Collins aerospace diamond or super diamond those are on average fifty eighty thousand dollars a pop or they have between one thousand five thousand parts most many of which are moving. To with actually there's electron IX, they're not simple systems and today where you have consolidation. So you have pretty much commoditised route networks, and you have a pressure on fares. Right. And air travel is is more or less been. The the verbiage say, it's the lowest common denominator. So it's been it's been shrunk down to this. The greyhound bus seats are in central part for airlines to differentiate, and I think the arms race and seeding is personal in the most fascinating things in this industry. And a I from a maintenance perspective how as a large role to play there. All right. Well, we've been focusing the conversation primarily on on maintenance on on Moreau. What about some other areas where a has a real role to play? So so m maintenance is is is nice because it's where a I is playing on in in the hero. Now the other area where I think a lot of people turn their attention to when I think of AI is a Thomas flight, and that's because when one of the key applications, they I today outside of they are aerospace and aviation is self driving car. And and you know, there's this thing while if you can make a card right by itself on an airplane. So this is another area where I've been deeply engaged lot. Where I work with us comes out. And what's interesting to me about about the world of commercial flights not talking about generally the Asian. I just we might see self-driving cars in LA in fifteen to twenty years, and that might solve traffic up and down the 4:05 all still I still think they'll always be a market for people to take legacy cars traditional cars to drive fun roads. Like, you know, the two forty one behind my house. But so I say they're always going to be a role in a place for for generally, the Asian, but today commercial aircraft. Murphy flight has already so automated that the technology to enable a ton of. Fully autonomous flight, right? The gap that exists there from the technological perspective is much much much much smaller than the gap that exists to make a fully trustworthy safe commodity. Mass-market available self-driving carp. Ward problems that folks in the autumn motive market are spending years trying to solve how do you visualize your landscape and react unethically your landscape in low light, or in fog or rain aren't necessarily a challenge in aviation t cast traffic avoidance systems are pretty mature today. Yeah. A lot of those problems have been solved in the past. It did. And I can remember the very first auto land that I was a passenger on was an MD eleven in nineteen ninety four into London Heathrow where there was zero visibility was Saul fog over. Right. So the sensing of the environment issue, which is still a challenge for cars, not necessarily challenging airplanes other area. That's not necessarily a challenge in planes is how. How you transition between different states of automation and backup of know, automation pilots are trained to do this as a key competency of flying aircraft. Right. You know, how to transition on any given that you're flying between different states autopilot, right or on a fly warrior craft how to handle different degradations of fly by water control on this just when you think about the read about a crash in a a guy crashes, tesla right in Phoenix. Or in Florida. You read about that. It's always well the systems stop working. He went beep beep, but I was asleep. I was reading a newspaper I didn't react in time. So so some of the challenges that are I think more user interface challenges anything on a problem in aviation. What is a problem in aviation is I think more, social, and and and more regulatory wanna. Make. Phrase, though, no problems there. It's the challenge landscape. So how'd you? Inner craft is a is a deeply regulated environment. Right. We're sink about the Jahic stock software in that avionics stack get certified, you know, in some cases line by line like to say in code and the question that a lot of us are asking ourselves as well, how a systems that you train based on role networks, and and deep learning models and without getting too much into technology discussion..

"And that's what I delivered all mine clients, and then in two thousand seven I joined a mastermind group guy name Jahic, silver, who, you know. He just really really helped change my life. He helped me go and do the transformation programs. He helped me develop mission vision for my business any show me Craig need to be sharing. This information all the stuff that you've learned with your coaching clients. And so I started my own I seven I my first business Manar in two thousand seven and I was selling twenty five hundred dollars Email marketing Manny enough to get on the phone. I have fifty people there. It was. It was really great seminar. But I was absolutely terrible onstage. I basically talked like this for three days straight and use out there were simultaneously board. Amazed at the content. Fortunately, had some guest speakers that came in there. Onic was there might Deary. Was there really really great people that helped me out. And that's where I started my first mastermind group. So I sold my mastermind group from stage. Terrible pitch. But somehow, I did it. Anyway, I got nine people into the group, and then from there some of my success stories include this woman is Avello dillas Rio. She has over million customers in her beyond diet program. She bought the DVD's of the seminar. Yes. I just said that she bought the DVD's of the seminar, and she had been put together a couple credit cards bore money from her fiance at the time. She's gonna be one of my greatest success stories that I started doing some phone coaching back then as well. And I had this client name, Joel Marianne. He bought a package of six phone calls. He used three of them back in the winter of two thousand nine he's gone on to celebrate hundred actually over two hundred fifty million dollars of supplements and information products online since he was my coaching client, and I don't. Credit for sales in that guy's machine. But I gave him the courage confidence a little bit of clarity for for him to have as first launch. And he'd is first launch of three hundred thousand dollars on an e book in two thousand nine and I was just on his podcast. It's like in the number one business podcast called born impact. Release in the top five, and he's incredible has remained followers. Instagram's at checkout, Joel checkout Isabel beyond diet check, Sean Hansel in his get lean twelve program. He's another super successful client of mine Brad Pilon each beat mandour, so many clients mind that just on on to bigger and better things and even I have done, and I'm so grateful so proud of now, here's the thing. A lot of people that come to me today to try and make their first sale on line or making a huge huge mistake. They're trying to sell soft advice. So let me do a real big teaching point right now about the difference between hard advice, the power of heart advice and. The failure of trying to sell soft advices for coaches. This is for authors. This for product creators might not be for somebody who has a brick and mortar store, but you might be able to take take away some some advice here. So people come to me, and they said crank one start a coaching program that helps people become their best self great that's gonna fail because he nobody knows he will are in your selling. When I call soft advice motivation. You know, everybody needs motivation, everybody needs personal development. But it is. So darn hard to sell personal development unless you are Brennan Bouchard unless you're Tony Robbins, unless you're famous and a celebrity you cannot sell personal development. You cannot sell soft stuff you were going to struggle. And I say the word struggle because I invented by accident, which is where you are stuck in struggling you're struggling you're struggling, and I don't want you to struggle anymore. Okay. So if you're selling soft advice which people need, but they will not buy that. I want you to change your approach because I saw this for years and years and years, and I'm coaching people in the fit health and fitness space, and they were trying to sell people like the motivation to keep going through weight loss program. Listen, MRs Jones doesn't want a motivation program, she needs motivation program. She doesn't want it though, what she wants is the diet. She wants the workout. She wants the video. Wants the hard advice. So there are three categories of heart advice. I your your advice must be one of these three things must help people. Make more money. This podcast is hard.
