"King the must read column football morning in america. Also working for nbc. Sports visited the vikings. The buccaneers got to speak with tom. Brady went to the jags. Camps spoke with urban meyer and the saints situation. They're gonna quarterback situation there and he was at the steelers is well the parapet peter king back on the program. Pete good to have you back of if you look at the rookie quarterback situation that is legitimate like the real story here whether it's the bears or it's the niners which one stands out the most that you think we're gonna be talking about during the regular season. Not just we over hyped. The preseason i mean. I think both those situations are going to be talked about a lot dan And you know it's getting harder and harder for coach like matinee gear. Kyle shanahan to try to do the right thing for a rookie quarterback picked in the first half of the first round. You know It's you know the other day. I thought that You know in chicago. It was an exclamation point on. How and again. This is this an exaggeration. Okay but how it's almost like mob rule is trying to pick the quarterback you know in chicago and it doesn't matter if justin fields is ready. I have no idea. He's ready or not. No one knows but You know it. We pick the guy tenth or eleventh overall. Whatever it was damaged he's gonna play we picked. We traded three. Wants to go get a tray lance damaged in san francisco. You know he should play instead of garoppolo. I mean it's like i wrote last week. All you have to do is look at all. The guys who didn't play are barely played. His rookies tom. Brady patrick mahomes drew brees carson palmer. I mean all you have to do is look at all those guys and say man isn't the idea to get a quarterback for the next fifteen years not to rush him in maybe four. He's ready Look there. it's possible. That patrick mahomes would've played great as a rookie. But you know. Alex smith quarterback them to the playoffs probably is best year in the nfl. And and so you know. And now andy. Reid looks like a genius fans. We just relax. You don't guy doesn't after play this year. He doesn't have to do what's best for a player long-term i'm not saying you absolutely should sit him. I'm just saying that..

"Taking the all important first step into an authorized dealership. Today, he's Peter King. The must read column Football Morning in America, also working for NBC Sports. Visited the Vikings. The Buccaneers got to speak with Tom Brady went to the Jags camp spoke with Urban Meyer and the ST situation, their quarterback situation there. And he was at the Steelers as well. The peripatetic Peter King back on the program, Pete. Good to have you back. Uh, if you look at the rookie quarterback situation that is Legitimate, like the real story here, whether it's the Bears, or it's the Niners, which one stands out the most that you think we're going to talk about during the regular season. Not just we overhype the the preseason I mean, I think both those situations are going to be talked about a lot, Dan and you know, it's getting harder and harder for a coach like Matt Nagy or Kyle Shanahan to try to do the right thing. For a rookie quarterback picked in the first half of the first round. You know, uh, it's you know, the other day. I thought that, uh, you know, in Chicago, it just Was an exclamation point. On how, uh and and again this is this an exaggeration? Okay, But how it's almost like mob rule is trying to pick the quarterback, you know in Chicago, and it doesn't matter if Justin Fields is ready. I have no idea if he's ready or not. No one knows. But, uh you know, dammit, We picked the guy 10th or 11th. Overall, whatever it was, and damn it. He's gonna play We picked. We traded three ones to go get Trey Lance dammit in San Francisco. You know he should play instead of Garoppolo. I mean, it's like I wrote last week. All you have to do is look at all the guys who didn't play or barely played his rookies. Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, Carson Palmer. I mean, all you have to do is look at all those guys and say Man isn't the idea to get a quarterback for the next 15 years not to rush him in maybe before he's ready. Um, look, it's possible. Patrick Mahomes would have played great as a rookie, but you know Alex Smith quarterback from to the playoffs, probably his best year in the NFL. And and so you know. And now Andy Reid looks like a genius. I just would say to fans, we just relax. You know, a guy doesn't have to play this year. He doesn't have to do what is best for a player. Long term. I'm not saying you absolutely should sit him. I'm just saying that it's ridiculous that you know that people in the in the second preseason game or booing the crap out of Andy Dalton. I mean, come on, Just stop. Yeah, I'm wondering, but it's like the Jets. The Jets had a great weekend nominee. Teams go. We had a great weekend and it's August. The Jets are desperate for anything and Zach Wilson throwing a couple of touchdown passes. Um, that's a great weekend for them, but it feels like their philosophy is we drafted, you were playing you. There's no reason to to have you ease your way into the lineup. What do you What is your philosophy on that that playing a rookie quarterback or letting him kind of ease into the lineup? Well. If the Jets had Andy Dalton there, Jimmy Garoppolo. I doubt that Zach Wilson would be the absolute No doubt Starter. Look at the backups for the Jets. James Morgan, Mike White, Josh Johnson. Those guys are not household names in their own household. And so you know it, you know? Look, I think Joe Douglas is a really good general manager. I like them. And I think he's doing a good job building up this team, but I think it's a terrible mistake to not have a backup quarterback. You know who's a veteran? And I'm sure that they made a call about Nick Falls. I mean, Nick Kroll is going to languish. As the number three in Chicago Unless somebody makes an offer that Ryan Pace thinks is good enough. You know that that he would take, but but again. It's a totally different situation. Who else is going to play? You're going to trot out last year's fourth round pick James Morgan to to start the opener and to go into Carolina and play and that's why it's almost been preordained from day one that Zach Wilson was going to play. Yeah, I just worry the rookie quarterback gets into bad habits or, you know, Sam Donald was seeing ghosts like you get into a situation where David cars, the quarterback that always comes to mind. I don't think any quarterback in his first three years got sacked more than David Carr did And I think that your confidence level gets shot. Um, you know, you get into bad habits there. That would be my concern with Zach Wilson. The expectation level is higher than than on any other quarterback. Even even Trevor Lawrence, like, you know, it's New York. It's the Jets. They expect greatness out of there. And and that's why I thought Can you get Nick Foles? What's he going to cost you if you get him or Andy Dalton? You know, maybe that's the route that they take out of this group of quarterbacks, which one plays in a playoff game first. Uh, Trey Lance. Just because he he's in my opinion of all the rookie quarterback, so we're going to play fairly early, whether it be year one or two. Trey. Lance is on the best team. That's I mean, you know, the the Niners got and again look. Time will tell if Trey Lance is good. Trading to future ones Forum plus using that pick on them. That's a huge investment, but I think they can afford to do that, because of Guys like Fred Warner in Bosa and a good receiving corps. I just think right now they are built to rise. With a young quarterback to maybe take some aches and pains with them, But they're really, really good team. I think there are easily a top 10 team in the league right now. And so I always look for what quarterback goes to the best team, and he did. He's Peter King Football Morning in America. The column is out now and you spent some time with Tom Brady Brady has talked about. He's going to know if he's not playing at a certain level. Then it's time to retire. But Is he going to know? Or will somebody tell him that he's not playing at the level that he needs to or should be? I mean, you never know about something like that. Um, I'm I didn't cover Wayne Gretzky, er Michael Jordan, So I don't know what happened at the end with them. But the fact is, you know, as I said today. You know, Brady is 1593 days older than the next oldest player in football. And last year he threw for more touchdowns and Patrick Mahomes more yards that Aaron Rodgers and he won the Super Bowl by 22 points. So I mean, that's why, in my opinion, you talk to him. I talked to him. He didn't say anything. Yeah, I'm playing X number more years. He's smart. You just take a near two year. And he says, I'll know so who knows whether it's him or whether it's Tampa or some other team that tells him that's it? Um, I think he's on his last team. But I don't know that I don't see how anybody can know that right now. What? What did you come away from your conversation with Urban Meyer. If I'm a Jags fan, how confident should I feel? Um, you know, I think what urban Meyer is trying to do. He stood in front of his team Dan at the start of the season, he said, Listen You can call me 24 7. I'm.

Tibo receiving yards line and and they said if he doesn't play it still action ryan says urban meyer. I know we've made fun of a bunch over the years. And i don't want to criticize him so much develops another fake heart attack. But i have a theory. I feel like we got to appreciate this guy that of tibo who hadn't played nine years in the nfl and people there. There are people betting the over well because the good lord told him to sean and at the end of the day works mysterious. What we have here is a. I didn't think about this and and like clue on the back of a map. That nicholas cage just found. I think this is what's happened. Urban meyer i have. Then part of me was like a little bit nervous. And then i did a little deep dive and i go. No i read some. Jags beat reporter. I read from one of the coaches that said tibo just needed a working on just needed to work on his blocking and catching and when they released the depth chart and he was tied for four. String tight end. Which again that was my position in high school football for string i was actually third. String alternate so i even. I was higher than tim tebow. They wouldn't call four string. It was three. Be right sean. Who are we talking to earlier. In the summer. That suggested that urban was just doing his buddy. Tim solid getting him back into the new cycle. Because that's what this was. It was a political move where You know what people are talking about. Tim tebow again. I went to. Tim tvos twitter account. Who knew he had four point five million followers more than the jacksonville jaguars when he thinks funny. So it's so. I mean look if we all could have friends. Like urban meyer. "They close practice because they don't want people to see DeShaun Watson getting one reps. I don't know. Why else would they care then? Yeah. I mean, are they worried about game plans getting out They want to start game planning for the opener. And all of a sudden if we don't close camp Stuff is going to be getting out. Yeah, they're going to be bad this year, like nobody cares about the Houston Texans to this season. Even the Houston Texans fans probably don't care about the Houston Texans this season. I saw that. Speaking of the F C South here for a moment, Trevor Lawrence is still working with the twos. I didn't know that I have not track Jags camp. I just assumed he was getting wrapped with ones. He's with the twos. So who is Minshew? I assume is getting wraps with the ones Why is he with the twos as he got to earn it? You gotta prove it, huh? Get him some reps with the ones even though Even if they're not doing it full time. Would you want to get him some reps with the one? I'm sure he's getting some, but it's It's not. I guess we're doing one of those things where he's not just being given the job. Okay, right. Whatever. Wilson is getting one's one reps in New York. So I'll actually you know what he might be? He might be the only one getting like the solid one reps right? Because Dalton's the starter in Chicago, Garoppolo is the starter in San Francisco. I don't know how many reps Lance is getting Uh And that and Matt Jones, although actually the the story to watch. I haven't had a chance to read the stories yet, Jeremy, But there were a couple of pieces yesterday that it there seems to be, um, reports out of New England that maybe things are changing. Like Belichick had said cams are starting quarterback. But Matt Jones has been getting a few more reps with the ones and the percentage of what each guys getting seems to be shifting. And there were a couple reports this week suggesting Maybe Cam is losing his grasp on the starting job. It's also possible that Belichick thanks if I only have so much time to practice, maybe the kid needs it more. Yeah. It doesn't get more. Yeah, Yeah. Um, yeah. Trevor Lawrence. At practice. Yesterday was all second team reps. Uh, no First team. Yeah, I'd be sprinkling stuff in front said he did well, but it was with the second team. Yeah, and I guess and that's by the way. That's that's the deal on Mac Jones isn't I guess that it's not necessarily the Cam Newton doesn't look good at Patriot's camp. But supposedly, they're really impressed with Mac Jones and how well he's got, you know, his grasp on the playbook and all this stuff that he seems to be earning more reps with the ones and maybe, um, shifting the thought process on who is going to be the start and week, one out in New England. So that's a story to track, too. 80305 50 to join us AL coming up top of the hour talking bills football all morning along with you, Josh. Not playing tomorrow night. "That being said. I don't think it's going to be herbert right. He's not going to go thirty one. And i think it's gonna struggle a little bit in the beginning but you know he's he's got a hell of an arm and he's an incredible player so i can see him. You know getting up there to the two thousand nine and a half is a long shot for me. A mostly an on shark but yeah. That's what i'm going to. One two things that i've noticed recently. Well we'll and it was hilarious. I saw the headline jags. Camp was trevor lawrence learning from his mistakes. That's like some shit spin if i've ever seen one and then to your point. Urban meyer was kind of nagging. Dj charging giving him shit. But then when we're watching all day in the office just like the live. Training camp look looking urban. Meyer a going out of his way to coach personally. Dj chart so. I think maybe that's a good side for him and his role in this offense and the same way that like if you have a girl you you kind of talk some shit you you know. Negative or something like i think. There's some sort of chemistry there. That maybe he's he's trying to build on some i. The thing is there and they trevor lawrence. Yes hi again. He could get that back. Yeah it's been tough for me to stand strong on my shark island because there's been a lot of Marvin jones There's been a lot of la viscous tional yeah When i almost honestly for the south. I almost throw trevor lawrence to go. I think it was twenty five touchdowns. Fifteen interception i mean again. There's not many guys who will get enough enough. Wrote to throw that many exceptions but yeah star chart as well one thing to note We could be one year early on the lsu explosion as next year. Twenty twenty two is the year of the tiger. Should tag it hold that tiger. Okay mine. I'm going to the titans. Derrick henry most rush yards and aj brown most receiving yards combine. That they both lead the nfl which is pretty hard to but you look at last year. Derrick henry led the league he had over two thousand yards. And you know john brown or sorry. Aj brown was right in the mix he was tenth. He had a thousand yards. He didn't even play all seventeen games. You only played fourteen or now seventeen. So there's a world and that's what's interesting about this. Titans offense like this to me is an insane now like for dare kendra do back to back and ag brown to make that same jump. That's a lot going on. But maybe having julio their opens things up enough for a aj brown. It's sixty five one which to me is insane. Because they're a team in the nfl. More likely to win a couple games by thirty points for derek has a huge game and then dropped behind like fall behind by four touchdowns and some games and just be like slinging and titans last year saying way like ryan hilas fantasy relevant and derrick henry. Was you don't see that a lot. Where workhorse running back is is in the mix and the receiver and the quarterback but i think it could happen in tennessee. Rarely am i my jealous of the value. Sixty five hundred. Are you kidding me. Which yeah i mean i like it i like and i honestly i did something very similar for the next. Yeah go go to your. Afc north one. This one looks for same thing. It seemed like the value. Didn't make sense if you look at futures assuming you'd be able to parlay futures which often aren't able to So yeah same thing. I did joe mixon to win the rushing. Title and t higgins go over nine hundred ninety nine and a half receiving yard. Oh wow okay. Sixty to one T higgins is actual. Total is at one thousand fifty. So that's not crazy at all and joe mix into win. The rushing title is twenty two to one. If you do the math there it. It shouldn't be. It should be more in the forties not sixty to one so once again go mining for value here. And you know you've probably heard enough of the fantasy community talk about how excited they are for joe mixing and what he did finally right. This is year six in like. Oh this is. The joe mixing. Workload bernard is gone. There is a pathway to him. Just being an absolute stub this year. Your especially if they are a good team and they are able to get lead with the passing attack and they do lean on his leg so again. It's a sixty to one bet. So i don't need to give you a tunnel logic. I wanted to make you understood the value that i have extracted here. The data mining that took place in the office is bouncing things. It is fun in the office and ryan's like oh wait. What just sitting at his computer are katie. how about you. Afc north what are the. What are we looking at all right. This is going to be the one where you probably throw me out of your office like this chick is nuts. Get her out of here. Isn't slow the cowboys we say the nfc's for last yes. Yes so This is a long shot. The little degenerate voice in my head said just sprinkle a little bit on this one katie. So yes so. I will say death taxes and justin tucker field goal. So i'm taking justin tucker to not miss a regular season field goal at twenty eight hundred now. The guy missed three field goals last year. We know that just the year before.

The cornerback warranted and asking for money. When you look at his numbers are those numbers has been a vital part of this patch nathan. I support my brother. I wish he was here. But i support him all the same. So then the question becomes. Why isn't gilmore here and stefan or no one close to him said this but all signs point to his contract judah earn a base salary of seven million dollars two seasons which is below market for a player of his caliber. The reason for the low figures. The patriots actually advanced him. Four point five million of salary last year. So that's sort of the situation with gilmore from a financial standpoint and players. Supporting him hoping he'll be back soon. Yeah we'll keep an eye on this one for sure. Mike hang tight. We'll be back with you in an update on the quarterbacks that patriots camp in just a moment but let's bring it out to the crew here out of what else should we know on gilmore. And the way bill belichick will handle this will laura. Stefan gilmore was not there today. He will not be there tomorrow and he will not be there the next day he will not attend. This week's mini camp and the truth of the matter. Is he's still recovering from their partially torn quad injury that he had last year so even if he were healthy. I don't know that he could be out there. The contract remains an issue and is going to be an issue and the patriots have something of an issue of their own on their hands. They did not draft any quarterbacks in this jesse jackson is the only experience outside quarterback they almost have to have fun. Gilmore to run the defensive. The bill check lights to run the defense the patriots of shown in the past that they're willing to move on to flood from players before the time is right and they'd rather bail on a flare early than be stuck with him later but in this particular case his value to the defense is vast. He's not going to be. They're not happy with the contract. Wants to redone last year. The patriots rework the contract. And you'd have to figure that the two sides can figure out a way to come to an agreement again. Especially when tom brady coming to town and week. Four and one. Tom brady throwing for five hundred yards against us to fund gilmore. Lewis defense now. This is an interesting situation here for a guy who's gonna who's thirty years old. Who is coming off of injury. And he's having to negotiate with the football team in with a coach who for all intents and purposes the general manager that is more economically driven in their decision making any team really in the history of the salary cap era billionaires exactly as adams said bills one of those guys get out ahead of moves that he feels potentially could go bed in terms of contracts meeting not committing a lot of guaranteed money players that he still feels on the back side of his career now. What stefan could argue that. He probably has three or four. Good years left boring any any further injury. This is a guy who again as adema. Looney two plays exactly his strengths. The style of deepest bill likes to play mainly a lot of your face. Pressed man to man coverage on is a master at an absolute massacre. But you could see his side of it too. He's in the fifth year of this contract. That paid him on average thirteen million per year when he signed it in two thousand seventeen thirteen million per year right now puts them about not even in the top ten in terms of average salary with corners. I mean the top guys making twenty million and jalen ramsey so. I don't know where this is headed. But i can see his point yet more jalen ramsey by the way how he factors in just a moment. But i'm living in the world. I think somehow they get this figured out but let's live in a world for now where they don't. What does this patriots defense. Look like without stefan gilmore. Well laura have some deaths. I mean you saw some of the names. They're jonathan jones played inside jesse jackson. Two of the more underrated. Dvd's in the entire nfl. They did sign. Jalen mills. This offseason. But atta made a really good point about meeting. Stefan's experience on the outside and i would argue. The patriots should do everything in their power to get this done because the case for them being a contender a playoff team in twenty twenty. One is predicated to me on the defense bouncing back in a big way. A defense that ranked first officiency in play one thousand nine hundred and dropped twenty six last year in large part of departures in free agency and cova coutts. Now you get hightower and bit noise back. It added a bunch of reinforcements in the front seven and of course secondary husband the strength in the past. If gilmore's there this could be a top ten even top five defense again and that to me is the stability on this team. Because we don't know who's playing quarterback. I'm in agreeing which you mean especially when you start thinking about what. Bill belichick steve. Geller ticket son. Likes to do defensively remember. They brought matt patricia. Back is this defense has been predicated. I'll have a lockdown guy so you can create for ten. I was a beneficiary a plan with a great player in the market square who created opportunities. We talk about what aaron donald does for guys we know. What jalen ramsey. Look john john and troy. You really good players but having jalen ramsey definitely help them be better players.

"I had the last couple of weeks then we'll bring in gresh in lieu for the news I camp. I hit out of the box this week, the Jacksonville Jaguars I was down there the day, the fight, and we're gonna talk more about Jalen Ramsey and a second. The one thing that stuck out to me about Jags camp. It is still the same template. They worked from last year and you may remember Doug Marrone gone a lot of attention for making guys run gas. There's after practice and incorporating up downs, which he normally don't see beyond the high school level. All of that wasn't there, but it was a long practice. It was. Under the hot sun and talking to Marrone afterwards. It's very clear that he wanted them to start from ground zero. Again, he wanted them doing all the things that got them there. He doesn't want to give them a break, and I think when you look at the suspensions, then again, we're gonna talk a little bit more about this in a minute with crushing Lou. I think there's an element there of making sure that the team hasn't become too full of itself. They were very good last year. There's a lot of talented, highly drafted guys on that roster. They're highly paid guys in that roster there guys who have every reason to feel good about themselves. And I think they're at least has the tenor of that camp is we're going to keep you guys humble, we're going to keep your, we're going to keep your feet on the ground. We're not going to believe any of these things that people are saying about us. And I think that that played into the suspensions to Jalen Ramsey and Dante foul. We'll talk a little bit more about that. Like I said, I was at dolphins. Camp after that on Monday, the big thing that stuck out to me there was Ryan tannehill looks like he's got more ownership of that operation the day before I got there. He actually kicked murky running back HALE in out of the huddle. You can see that he's got more command over his teammates. You can see that the the offense is running through him a little bit more and watching tannehill environment. I couldn't help, but think maybe this has a little something to do with Jarvis Landry being gone and indomitable, sue being gone and Danny amendola, and Albert Wilson and Robert Quinn being in their place like maybe that has a little something to do with the fact that the locker room identifies with him a little bit more. That's the culture change. They were going through mean who knows if it's going to work, they did say goodbye to some good players, but you can at least see that the focus there on the work and that's a neighborhood Ryan tannehill to, I think, take a little bit more command of the team. Third camp of the week I went from, I went from Miami to Houston, and the one that sticks out there that's been a upside down place for the last year. You think about everything that happened last year injuries, JJ watt, Whitney mercilus. And of course to Shawn Watson the anthem controversy hit them maybe harder than anybody else because a Bob McNair comments and the owner player meeting in October, and you had the relationship fraying between scouting and coaching, and I think you look out on that field and you see a bunch of star players. You know, you see your mercilus. You see your, what you see your to Shawn Watson, you see your de'andre Hopkins. You see a lot of really good like a level players there. I think you see a little bit more depth now and most importantly, you see the organization working in lockstep. It really feels like Bill O'Brien has that place the way he envisioned it when he got there and twenty fourteen. And for the first time, maybe. He, he's got everybody in the building on the same page, then I want to New Orleans. I'll tell you what sticks out about the saints. They've got speed everywhere, and we're gonna talk a little bit more about the saints in a minute, but you can see the talent level there and you can see they've got a lot of athletes on that team. Tell you what watching Alvin Kamara at ground level is wild. That guy just moves at a different pace than everybody else. And they just because of that that that second year class, like because of the chimera ramczyk Lattimore Williams because of that group, it's that's breathe life into the organization, and they look at town team..
"jags camp" Discussed on Izzy and Spain
"We mentioned earlier the issue coming out of the Jags camp where not only did you have guys fighting with each other, but then that caused Jalen Ramsey to try to fight the media start yelling, profane things at the folks covering covering that the that practice. And we know this is coming right? We always know that when training camp. Has been going on too long and guys are looking for somebody to hit. It ends up being either their own guy like it happened with the Jaguars or an opponent, and especially when we've got these mixed practices when we've got, you know, dudes trying to prove themselves or trying to defend their teammates trying to defend their spot on the depth chart. Yeah, that's true. And so we get the smack talking of like the Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton, and they meet on the on the field and. Are you at the fifty yard line, super passive, aggressive beef, or you get a real actual fight like the jets and the Redskins where there was many players involved training camp practice. That's got to teams, know giving each other a little bit of work and jets player, mate, late contact on a right tackle. And then everybody goes off all sorts of profanity in the video, and it's just probably the first of many. Should we even be covering this anymore? Even be surprised anymore. Yeah, because it's the middle August and we talked about it is true. You're right. Like what? It's a hundred degrees outside and guys been going after each other for a couple of weeks. Of course, this is bound to happen. This is a right of passage in any football season over the last twenty thirty years probably longer than that when you have two teams and rosters full of players that are trying to prove themselves trying to keep their spa spot trying to earn their spot. This is the result of that hard work that time invested in. Sometimes the frustration that is involved on a day to day level and training Kip yet. The only issue though is its potential to actually have something bad happen, right? And Washington left tackle. Trent Williams was throwing haymakers at people and presumably either them or yourself. If you're throwing haymakers that someone with the helmet on which is what we always say, what we want. Right? But also Washington's master tests thought thin. I was pronounced that name wrong. Was ushered off the field limping on his right leg. And last year he had January technically, it's still this year underwent ankle surgery. So the potential to lose a player over a skirmish during a practice. I mean, there's always a chance you can get hurt in football, double, you don't. It could be non contact, but that to me, I think is when you have to pay attention to these, there's always a chance to get hurt, sir. But the flipside of that argument is these moments are times when a lot of teams they come together, like my guys stood up for me or or they came to my defense and everybody kind of rallies around one another. So again, if you're in a camp this long and yours hanging around the same people for this many weeks in a row and you're away from your family and in a lot of cases, and you're not able to have some kind of regular rhythm and structure to your schedule. This is the result as long as nobody gets hurt. Things usually just kind of clear up, but you're right. Right? You always run that risk when you have these massive skirmishes of something going wrong and something happening. You just got to be very cautious and try to get out away when a guy who's six, seven, six, eight throwing massive haymakers at ya, Spain and fit Spain and Nick free l. at another training camp. It wasn't so much the fighting as the fraudulent player that was making news. This is just absurd. So there's a Pittsburgh Steelers fan who has hair sort of similar to Troy Paula mellow. Who showed up at practice, complete with full pads, Apollo Malo uniform and attempted to take part in team drills somehow made it past security. And according to the Pittsburgh post gazette, he literally just walked out to the to the field and started doing whatever high knees or but kicks or whatever they were doing. No one's really sure how he got past the security. Presumably that person saw the pads and assume the player had back..
