"33 39, Dan Manderson for Eric Curly and Gary McNamara. Such a weird segment over the weekend. On CNN. Now you apparently had the lawyer for as they like to label him the Q and on shaman. You know the guy with the horns and he was one of the ones who broke into the capital and his lawyer, a guy by the name of Al Watkins said this about his client. Jacob Chance Lee and his infatuation it would appear. With Donald Trump. She had a founders for Trump that was not unlike the first love a man may have for a girl or a girl for a man or a man for me and my first log. Always always maintains a tender and soft spot in the heart. Of the lover. So, yeah, That's just a little bizarre and again that is the attorney saying that his client Jacob Chancellor had this sort of weird infatuation for Donald Trump. Because, of course what they're trying to do. Is they are trying to absolve his client of any responsibility and blame everything on the former president. So of course, this being CNN. They had Barbara Comstock God, she was the guest. A former congresswoman, and she is yes, a Republican and very much of what sounds to me like an anti Trump. Republicans think we've still got to the bottom of it, because I think a lot of the people who need to be held responsible people like the White House who may very well as information comes out have been involved in this rally and egging on this kind of activity, and that's why I think it's so important that we get these phone records that we get these text records of people there who are engaged in that activity. And in the days before in the days following first people I'd focus on our people like Donald Trump Jr. Donald Trump, Mark Meadows. Yeah, in case you didn't know where the Democrats stand, or some of these anti Trump Republicans stand They want to see this January. 6th Commission do everything that could possibly to do to destroy the Republicans. So what they have now done the Democrats this January 6th commission. They have instructed various telecom companies to preserve a bunch of phone records related to January 6th. They want to go back. All the way to April 1st of 2020. All the way through January 6th through January 31st of 2021. So they want to go nine months beforehand. And so you know, this is going to be a drip drip drip of information, right? That's what they want to do. They're going to have this commission and they just like the Mueller investigation. Every day. There's going to be yet another story about how Donald Trump or Donald Trump Jr or Jim Jordan or any other You know, Trump aligned or affiliated Republican was out there trying to stir up this quote unquote insurrection. And so now, what they want to do is they want to go Calman through the records of everything they think or every person they think is involved and smeared the heck out of that particular Republican lawmaker. And it's all going to happen heading right into the midterm elections. You see, That's what this is all about. They're going after the communications of Jim Jordan and Kevin McCarthy. Looks like Donald Trump. Donald Trump Jr. No doubt and with they're looking for is just about any form of communication from these Republicans. Social media Again phone calls, text messages as well. And so just today, you've got this story out there about Kevin McCarthy. You know the House minority leader and how he is supposedly now threatening These tech companies who might give up that information to the January 6th panel or the committee, the texts and the phone records and such, the Guardian is now reporting. That, McCarthy said. This a Republican majority will not forget it Remarks that seemed to imply some future threat against the tech sector. So one of the things that I would say is, this whole thing is obviously political, and it's been hashed out time and again in media in both the House and the Senate when they tried to impeach President Trump. A second time, Adam Kinzinger. Of course, You all know that he is, um, supposedly Republican on this panel, and he wants to really go after the other Republicans. He was on CNN this weekend. Some of those people that signed that letter are the ones out there talking about things like, you know, blood shatter supportive of that, or, you know, flirting around with white nationalism. And so the question is, what is our party going to be? Are we going to be the party of opportunity and hope for the party of Anger division and truth has no place in it. Well, I would I would have to ask Adam Kinzinger. Okay, So can you name a Republican? That is quote unquote flirting around. With white nationalism. Because that's not what I'm seeing at all. This is exactly what we're going to be treated to in the months ahead. 866 90 red eye It's 866907 33 39. "And he never had another hit. That story coming up from Ed Wallace with the moment in rock and roll history at 7 55. Well, the big story in Texas this morning is that, uh, that much talked about that much argued about The voting bill that sent Democrats scurrying to Washington, D. C. Where they say for weeks. Is about to be signed into law and joining us now live from Tyler, Texas, where it will all happen is Clayton Neville. Morning, Clayton. Dave. Good morning. Yeah, 11 o'clock this morning. Governor Abbott is going to be in Tyler with Senator Brian Hughes, who represents the Tyler area. That's why the ceremonial signing is here in Tyler. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick will be here as well. And representative Murderer who has his name on this legislation will be here to this is a bill. As you said, that has had a lot of pushback from Democrats. They broke forum over it for months. This was passed, though, during the second legislative session, and today, Governor Abbott will put him Signature on it, Dave this bill or this law in just a few hours. What it will do is limit access to mail in ballots in Texas. It bans 24 hour and drive in voting. Republicans say that it's really the next step and restoring election integrity. Well, Democrats say it discriminates against communities of color. And people with disabilities. Nonetheless, though, it's going to be signed here in a few hours in Tyler, Texas, when will this go into effect? Yes. So this is obviously a ceremonial. You know the governor? I'm sure before he gets here, Health officially put his signature on it and then It will be law in Texas now. This isn't really going to matter much until elections actually start rolling around, but that's coming up here pretty quick. So next time you go to the polls, these will be in effect. Do you know if you heard anything about any Democrats who plan to show up in protest and make a stink of this, or is it all quiet on that front? I haven't been looking out for it so far this morning, and we will see, Um maybe another benefit to having it in Tyler, Texas, is you You may not have it as much as that, right? I know exactly what you're saying. Yeah, in another in another city like Dallas or Houston or El Paso or something like that San Antonio But this is a big deal. You know, this is something that people were outraged about and supported. But a lot of pushback did come from other states to across the United States because Florida and Georgia have enacted, um, similar laws to advance where critics say it restricts access to voting. So this is something that the whole world and whole nation has been looking on. I wouldn't be shocked if there's pushback, but I haven't heard anything about it for this particular sighting. I'm picturing picture and governor Abbott with a map of Texas in his office, and all right, guys, where can we Put the pan that'll have the fewest protest areas. Yeah, this would be the spot. Well, I don't know. Maybe, but it was certainly I think it's a these text is one of the more conservative areas in here. Rural communities. All right, thank you very much. Clayton Neville is SAR report. What a what a gorgeous morning to be able to just kinda hang out in Tyler, Texas. I mean, you can do a lot worse than that, for for a daily assignment. Remember the guy During the capital riots. They got they got. He's got, like the the buffalo Horns, and his face was all painted shirtless, but he's got like the weird headdress thing. His mom was fighting for him saying you can't keep him in jail. He needs his. Whatever its fruit by the foot. I don't know. Whatever was So he's he's a little bit of a nutcase. He's uh he's been he was, uh yeah, And while he was in detention, he underwent mental exams. Was diagnosed by prison officials with transient schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety. I should not have used the word in that case, but because that's not right, but yeah, he does have some problems and, uh well, he could. He could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison. Yeah, that's wild. And he this guy was at a lot of events. It wasn't just the capital right? Like you saw him at a lot of high profile protests and demonstrations in anything that Really encapsulated President Trump at the time. It was always he was always like, right place right time for him. I don't think it's gonna get me 20 years in this because even the prosecutors acknowledged that he was not a planner or organizer. No, he like most of them, you know blindly followed this idea which I'm sorry. It was complete nonsense this Q and on conspiracy it was. It was a bunch of people who wanted to get behind a movement because they needed something to get behind. And and it really none of them. Orchestrated it. I mean, that doesn't mean they're not guilty. Somebody something wrong? I would guess that somebody orchestrated it. But it might have been somebody just trying to make, uh Donald Trump. Look bad. And his followers in general look bad. Did you finish the HBO documentary on Cue in on yet? Yes. That's really, really something. It wasn't the payoff at the end. Really great. Yeah. And so when you go to a Walgreens or CVS has always signs in the window that says we do not have the covert 19 vaccine, which of course, is only partially true. They do have the covert 19 vaccine. And it's sitting in warehouses somewhere. But it's got to be administered by the proper personnel as determined by the federal government. As I sit here this afternoon at 2:12 P.m.. When you Americans cannot put him in the arms right now, and he is saying to my left, they're gonna make another 500 million doses for the American people the rest of this year 500. I said 500 million doses. But the implication is we've already sold you 20 million and you can't get it done. When I talked to Mike DeWine, he'll tell you what the problem is not the person I'll put it in. The problem is, we can't get the vaccines to vaccinate. Why? I don't know. If I'm the Trumpster One surgeon General Adams or someone else that Debra Burkes bra? Of course, the legendary Anthony Fauci. Why can't we have a system like with the polio vaccine or in the military or everyone going in and 12 Million Americans served in war war to within about four days. They were all vaccinated. You can vaccinate each other. But this vaccine has to be administered within about 6 to 8 hours, and one is taken out of the deep freeze.
