"Don't Miss It. All right. We're bringing a jacket here is Bringing in my buddy Jacko last time he was here we are wondering if the baseball season season was gonNA completely fall apart it's still going I remember making the joke. Something like I'll have you on. Right around the next time, Stanton gets hurt staying got hurt so now. Nat- style stay lasted. How many weeks to the half Yeah. Roughly just about that's pretty much part of the course. Yeah. was his injury. Hamstring Hamstring Grade Gani, or great for hamstring injury and attendance -tendance does tendons and muscles. Tough for him. You would think you'd stretch you know a guy making three, hundred, fifty, million dollars or whatever his contract is. You think he'd have a stretching regimen at this point but. That's how much running the bases get you. Every time you know leads leads right to the deal in my l. keep fantasy. There was like a bidding war for stanton adding know what was going on was like did he did he said they figured out how to stay healthy for the terrier how much? How much? Pandemic pandemic. Baseball you've been watching. I've watched except that I was away in Maine for the past couple days I've when I've been home, I've watched pretty much all the games you like it you're getting into it. Of course, I. Mean I had no sports for four months. And I love the Yankees. Love hate the Yankees so of course when they came back I mean it is weird with no fans. You know when there's like a late inning rally or you know classic New York thing where they started with Ron Guidry when the batter has two strikes and the Yankees pitching, it's weird not to hear the crowd you know into it and rising cheering the crowd noise they pumping is ridiculous but yeah, otherwise other than the crowd thing I've I've been into it. Yeah. I can't tell if I just it or I just don't want to watch this red sox team and I. It's about thirty, six, thirty seventy but I mean, I don't know if you've seen are starting rotation this year but they just decided to throw the airway. On top of IT MJ Ben in a coma. And I think Andrew Benintendi was replaced like a year and a half ago by somebody else I think the real Andrew Benintendi is living in like Ohio basement. China get out offensive posture has taken over, right? Yeah. When you're team sucks. It's not fun baseball without fans. Yeah. Absolutely. ADITORIAL understatement. Yeah and you know it would probably be more fun to get the Old Classic Salty Boston Red Sox Fan back, who could be there luckily, booing them and and just hating life and hating the team and the ownership and everything else and you you know the pandemic you've missed out on that. So you don't even get like the best part of a awful Red Sox team right? I don't get no fans. Like when when? Martine Perez look pretty good in his last start last week. But I know his next start he's going to give up like eleven, heads and three eighths. Hopefully. It's Watson off the field. Yeah. Oh, enter the Yankees are GONNA. Be Great I have thought. Oh basketball. Have you joined the bubble basketball? Now. I'm not a big NBA Guy to begin with. So I haven't really gotten into that. I mean I. because I follow the ringer numerous ringer personalities on twitter, yourself included I really can't avoid NBA basketball and you know just scrolling through twitter I get a sense of what's going on i. mean the Celtics have been good right the bucks the buck's are good. Jaanus headbutted a guy. I. Know All the deal. We should hire you for. MBA report. By the Lakers have been a little disjointed, right like there are people a little worried about the Lakers the sons came out of nowhere They J-, My guy, John Mirant. I was early on the ranch train having seen him play at the NCAA tournament Hartford. He he just he's led Memphis into the in game now right? Is that what I've just? Yeah. This is job there. That's my. That's my NBA. report. We have bullish Bob's now have. Jack Jack Gear play. About it Agai bubble. Hockey. Anything there. Well you know. I grew up as a Hartford whalers fan, and of course, the whalers left may some sort of a half ass ranger fan by default? It's really disgusting. Well Yeah. But what's heartbreaking is, of course, then they were swept out of it by the hurricanes that used to be the Hartford whalers just to further my heart that hurtful. But then they bounced back had the maybe the NHL re draft lottery rigged for them to win the number one pick. So now that that worked out, well, that was good for me in terms hockey. So you know. I didn't know if bettman tried to just slide that by everybody because you know the world is so discombobulated if you're ever GonNa, fix the lottery for somebody this year. Well I don't know there's always whenever it's like when ewing the you know the ewing thing which really was rigged you know. So everybody thinks well, he rigged it for the Rangers because they're a big market team but I mean, you know I think if they were going to rig it wasn't they rather rig it for like the Maple leafs or the Canadians Canadians. To I, don't even nobody would rig it for Toronto who's been perpetually awful and Toronto is like the capital of hockey. So you would think they would rig it for them but again, I was away but I saw the thing afterwards and the commissioner I don't even know if it was the commissioner whoever it was that pulled out the ping pong balls he gets to the number one and he drops it and they're like, well, that's because it was weighted. You know. You. Put the lead pellets in the Ping Pong Ball. So it didn't pop out so they end or whatever. So. The raiders of the number one pick you'd think he would be more confident now that rob Manfred has replaced him as the worst condition sports you would at that, right bet would be surgery with confidence days. You could just openly riggott nobody's GonNa say anything just have all the ball say rangers on them and you know. I era the cardinals they missed like what two weeks. I was looking at today. I was looking at the standings and like right now the Yankees are twelve and six. I looked at it in the cardinals are two and three they've played five games and the Yankees have played ATP. And the guy, apparently one of their. Coacher or clubhouse guys somebody tested positive again today, and you have to have to negative testing a row back to back days of negative tests to keep to be able to be to play they're supposed to play the white sox again. Listen to the radio on the way home, and they said though the plan was that the They could have rental cars and drive individually from Saint Louis to Chicago he'd love you. But ten hours? Now from St Louis Chicago. Now that's that's not that far. Five out. No, no. Am I raised. It's like a cross Illinois. Now I'm going to say it's like an hour and a half two hours. Okay. We're going except somebody Google that but Now, I So yeah but then they said this guy tested positive. So now they may be on hold..

Does Trump Want to Fight to Win 2020 Election?

"Trump the president yeah. There, there's a theory going around that. It's becoming unwinnable for him. And he's GonNa know it and he's going to. Basically do the judge smells like my arm I? Think it's broken. GET HIS ASS out. Do something and then he could do thing afterwards like I would have won, but you know I. had that health thing to that. Do you believe in theory? Well. It's funny like before. That theory became a thing I. had that theory because I was like? If he starts looking at the polls and it's like he's GonNa go down and he's going to go down hard. He may come up with some fake health thing and say he's got heart problem or Some bullshit thing and say I can't do it. I would love to serve you my beloved barricade. I can't do it because he can see the writing on the wall and his whole thing like his whole shtick is a winner winning win win win, and I'm like he's gotta be looking at his post-presidency lives such as it is, and his business such as it is, and if he loses like you know, he loses thirty seven states or something. It's like a you know landslide in. He gets killed. How does he come back from that and say like I'm? I'm a winner. I'm a winner. Come to my come to my business. Come to my hotel. Come to my restaurant. You know that's going to be a big ego blast for him now we're talking about this on my birthday. Zoom and house was like well, but he's just going to say it's rigged, so if he loses and goes down. Hard is going to be like well. It was the mail in ballots, and it was all rigged, and it was the fake news, and whatever but part of me Kinda thought he would do this thing where it's like. Again you know the judge snails arm I think it's broken. I can't run, and then he could always say tweet out. Oh, I could have one. If only my health. Let me I would have beat. Joe Biden Sleep. Joe Biden Yada Yada. So I I. Don't know I mean I i. don't know what his course of action is here now I I've seen some speculation now where people think he doesn't WanNa win like based on his behavior like when he tweets out the other day about the bubble wallace thing. Wallace News thing and he you know, which was a non-story at that point in our, you know millisecond of a news cycle now that had passed by, and he felt the need to tweet that for some reason the other day. Ad Like look like he's you know to bring that up and confederate flags and everything and you're like why. Why would he do this? Why would you do this or election? Campaign like this is going to be? Be Your focus with limited amount of time between now and November third, so people are like. Maybe he doesn't. WanNa win. Maybe he's like president. Thing is hard. This is not for me. It was easy when the economy was good, and we were at peace. SORTA speak, and I could just go to rallies and everybody loved me, but now that it's hard like I I don't WanNa. Do this anymore I wanted to start a TV company and Bitch about CNN I. I don't know what his motivation does at this point anymore. If two semi ever did.

The Myths Around Weightlifting

"Seal heard this many times in the past where that be from a friend a colleague or family member saying they want to tone up. Get the dream physique. But they don't want to do any weightlifting omitting too bulky while to say this this plane simply also in such concrete manner simply isn't true. It's also important to say before we start. That bulky is completely subjective term. One person cents a bulky might be light years away from someone else's swampers might think that a level of Muslims beautiful or lovely at another person Martin us to march so it is subjective. So do remember that whenever you think about it or approach anyone in this manner but more and more women these days are picking up barbells and dumbbells and stars and to lift weights and they are becoming stronger healthier versions of themselves and it's important to say that resistance training can be used for a whole host of different goals. Jack Crawford who is a spokesperson for the American Council on exercise says that you could use weightlifting to become a competitive powerlifter. Where of course you will have more muscle mass than someone doing regular exercise or you can use it to simply burn calories and incorporated into your fitness program and shape your body and become fitter and Healthier. Jacko's onto say that weightlifting can help adapt your body composition and it's an important component of a well rounded fitness program. She says that if you want to gain significant amount of muscle mass than you might be looking at going to the gym. Four to six days a week. Really pushing yourself progressively overloading on each different exercise on each consecutive day. Whilst if your goal is just to slim and make your muscles look more toned by losing some body fat and gaining some muscle mass. Then you all to begin potentially two or three times a week for your general health so from the off you can see here that it really depends new. Goal the frequency of your training as to whether your weightlifting journey will lead you to put a more muscle mass than previously anticipated. Or whether you're just going to use it to get toned physique you've always wanted again remember. I don't like the word tone necessarily because I I like to think of it as gaining lean muscle mass losing body fat. So we'll touch again a bit later on but it is not purely for someone who wants to pack on heaps of Muscle Mass and obviously one of the principles of gaining muscle. Mass anyway is. It's again a calorie surplus and so when we think about diet if you are weightlifting and you're not in a calorie surplus. You're not going to be turning into a she. Hulk that's a myth. We know in order to pack on lots of muscle mass. You'd need to be eating more progressively overloading but if you start weight training. You don't bulk up your calories. You won't be packing on tons of lean mass a national completing you to lifting where you might experience the phenomenon of new gains where you can sometimes gained muscle and lose fat simultaneously. But I only happens for a while and is quite difficult yet to have good genetic for that as well so if you're worried about wiping too much muscle don't necessarily bulk up your food intake as much. You may need a little more each day because you're obviously expending more energy when you're working out a special trading days but just be cautious about adding too many calories into your daily nutrition plan. What's more incorporating weightlifting and resistance training to your workout regime? You're going to be burning more calories and you increase your lean body mass. This can give your metabolism boo. So you'll be burning more calories than sitting to nothing and if you're doing quite heavy compound lifting you're actually feel the after burn effect or excess post oxygen consumption or epoch for short which basically refers to the increase quantity of calories bird after exercise and after compound lifting this is actually quite high even higher than cardio for example so you may end up losing body fat giving your muscles that more toned look. You're off to anyway as this is. What the tone look is all about. It's about reducing your body fights whilst also having a bit of lean muscle mass so you have a more toned physique was also interesting to note. Is that if you are someone looking to grow your gluts near Bum. Then that's not going to happen from just continually running. It might help you lose your body fat but in order to get this athletic look that needs to be a level of muscle developed in the first place so when it comes to lose body fat these muscles become more parent and again giving that toned. Look you're after so hopefully some. This rumbling has how showcase why lifting weights were necessarily met. You pack more muscle. You anticipated. It's about your goals house no training. How do view diets? You'll rest levels and many more factors but you are in control of this so if resistance training is something? I've always wanted to try. Give it a go and see if it's right for you or speak to a PT at the gym and just tell them about your ambitions. Tell them that you don't necessarily want to pack on lots of lean muscle mass. But you just want to have more lean to find healthy body so now you know that you can obviously go out and try resistance training. You may be asking if it should be any difference. In the way a woman trains the way among trains and all religious reiterate the American College of Sports Medicine says in the fact that they don't differentiate between sexes when they recommend trading levels or exercises there are of course biological differences. But they shouldn't stop us from referring to the principles all progressive overload to gain muscle and being a calorie surplus. Or if you're trying to lose body fat then obviously being a calorie deficit as well and expend more energy than you take in and so

"Go to newsletter you can just go to strategically DOT COM Gathers free postseason Thomson the poster great. They've been but I don't remember when I first became a subscriber but it was only because you you you just signed me up on. I think you'll like this. I have to say that I'm super happy for you. It's so cool that thank you to the cell. I'm a little bit bummed because I wrote the post. I think this is when you signed up our proposal when grand closed yes they might actually the way the business model should be is. You should use text to build an audience and monetize via podcasts. You need to be all holistic media company. That's what I was them at the time. That's right so I so we were two peas in a pod on that and then you built it with the ringer and it was accessible. So I could point to this a super successful like I talked about this five years ago and And and now now it's independent anti but I think the spotify was willing to put into demonstrates that that it was right so I appreciate that. Thank you for other support. I've enjoyed renewed the as always thanks to I don't know if we've done one in person have we are. We in person did waiting. The second was on the phone. Search says her third one third one. Yeah the trilogy. The second one on the phone. I added epic Jason Kidd Rant. A month later I didn't WanNa talk about the Bucknell because I think it's always been bad talked about the bugs but man seventy wins in play. It's not inconceivable because they can actually win win. Jaanus doesn't play which I Middleton is unbelievable. This year I mean really he twenty minutes a game. I think that Bruno's Denardo use them. Last year there is a class. Oh Yeah Where it was on to play in the mid post more and shooting threes and that like bill is a great shooter. But that's not his game right this year he's operating out of the mid post much more shopping the pick and roll much more. That's actually up sniffly more and he's killer in the pick and roll because he's so tall he comes off and it doesn't matter for guys because he's six nine and so guys in his grill just rise up into silver him. It's like it. What time are the Games? On and Taiwan. It's there on about eight. Am So I is. Yeah Perfect Coffee. I wake up. Watch the Games and then then get to work. I desperately want the Celtics to get to the two seed and not have to go anywhere near Milwaukee until you. I'm full of comedy. I were of Celtics morning. When the East we match up? Okay with Milwaukee's weaknesses the wings and you guys have all those wings. And it's like every game that we played bucks jump out ahead. And then just this drip drip drip drip. Where we're just every possession reading killed on the wings like loose balls rebounds like slashing whatever and so I'm In the east. I'm most worried about fossil. We're taping this on a Tuesday. The the Celtics thing that's changed the most as tatum's really starting to put together in real ways and ultimately unit series against John. Campbell will be there. You'll have your guys be killed are dropped defense. We we have to switch out of what we do. Will we beat the bucks players? Ob because tatum brown went to another level and killed your rings and just outplayed them. And then everything else was. Kind of either ghee. Kind of held on or negligible whatever. I can't wait. I hope out there playing and run through. It'd be fun now. They've done Thanks as always I recon Jack on one second wanted to remind you about the newest podcast from the ringer podcast network. It's called music exists. The hosts are Chuck Close German and Chris Ryan longtime friends from back in the New York days. You know Chris as Executive editor of the ringer. I think that's his title now. It's something else. My apologies Chris. I think that's what what we titled. The quick inner inner circle Guy I've been with Christopher the last ten years and chuck was When we launched grantland was prominently involved for that first year. And we've always been trying to get into a podcast. We finally figured out a format in structure that we liked and it's about music and it tries to accomplish a whole bunch of different things but it's big picture really smart conversations about specific themes based off of albums singers Trans whatever and you know. It's hard to crack the music. Podcast format but I think this one is really good. You can check it out on spotify. It launches next week but follow it right now on spotify and then when the first episode drops it will be Ray in your spotify the playlist. Whatever your library whatever it will be there and you can listen to it. It's really good. Check it out. Music exists more details on the On the ringer feed and everyone else in speaking of music. We did the Dave Grohl past that we ran Earlier this week. It is the full episode of that is on our Ringer Youtube Channel. So if you'd like to actually look at us we're talking. You could see a little hung over his pale. As I've ever looked entire life I actually wanted to call her tinted to make to make it. Look like I work for my face but It's like a basically an interview. Tv SHOW FOR THAT ONE. So if you like watching the stuff check that out as well all right. Let's Go Jack. All right. The fans have been demanding it. They don't know where he's been. There's been all kinds of red sox. Chaos there's cheaters. Baseball politics is in full swing. And he's here. Now our buddy Jacko Jacko This is your time. The Red Sox traded their best position in sixty years. The Democratic Party is going nuts There's cheaters in baseball. This is really when you thrive. It's my time to shine. Let's do you WanNa congratulate me for losing our best position in sixty years Yes I feel. Very good it It's completely nonsensical I don't understand why the lifeboat first of all the red sox like the Yankees should never ever ever cry poverty because they both have a license to print money and the red sox have basically branded every single thing in the ballpark outside of the ballpark. Anything you could buy any break in the game. Everything like the Yankees Right. So they make money hand over fist and the notion that the luxury tax Israeli hamstring them is insanity. It's crazy it's and go ahead. Day also gave the dodgers forty eight billion dollars right right so they this grand trade to extensively restock their depleted farm system and save a lot of money but they're paying forty eight so they got rid of David prices contract but not all of it just half of it. So they're paying the hundreds forty eight million dollars and they got back jeeter downs. I love that he's named after. Derrick jeeter grew up a ferocious Yankees Fan. By the way. Who's okay who's a semi highly regarded prospect? I guess they got a Catcher who is not super highly regarded and they got Alex Verdoux. Go who looks like the lead singer and they limp biscuit cover band about these events and has a bad back and a bad attitude. Apparently there's some questions about that. So.

The emotional part of the of the switch that has occurred here has been you know a little bit <hes> challenging for me the catch up with and <hes> and and we definitely need more philosophies like yours here on raising our daughters and i think that's very beneficial to everybody that that gets a chance to hear it. Yeah i mean so so when i was really what i'm hoping to do is a wanna set a good example for so that when she she goes in has their own relationships they'll be positive relationships and she's not going to tolerate anybody. <hes> you know treating her uh with disrespecting or incorrectly or or in a harmful manner because that's the example that she's seen me lay out between me and my wife this at it's core. This is about decentralized command where i'm getting. I'm right there. I'm stealing one of <hes> laboring jacko's laws of combat but i want her to make squared away decisions when i'm not around. I want her to be able to take care of herself. I want her to be able to change a toddler. I want her to be able to change the oil if that's what she wants to do and i don't want her to have to be dependent on anyone else and then that will set her up for success excess to be in in the best relationships or whenever she wants to do moving forward as an adult yeah very well said and i and you speak about changes i i actually gave a class at the local library here for the teenagers that were getting their licenses on how to change because it's it's amazing to me how many of the young teenagers that are getting their licensed. I have no idea how to do basic car maintenance so it's just little things like that and i think i speak about a quite a bit on the podcast. We have such a fatherless crisis in our country right now and we see the devastating result result in our society from children that are growing with no father is winless in their life and and so to all those single mothers out air because guys are taking their responsibility and stepping up and helping them out you you can fill this role to you should learn learn how to change a tire and filling that gap 'cause it it it can be done. It needs to be done because like you said the two parent household is becoming <hes> <hes> the exception not the norm or where we're trending in that direction and raising kids is hard. It takes two people yeah. I couldn't agree three more and i know that you you helped so many people now. You're with the echelon franck. You helped so many people in the business world to become leaders. Is it challenging for you to kind of differentiate. A teaching teaching leadership the civilians as opposed to was the sailors and then completely switching to leading your kids all right dad the n._f._l. Season he's in is now upon us and the major.

4 countries vote in high-stakes European Parliament election

"Ryssdal is on this today from the European Council on foreign relations, and I thought it might be useful as a way to set up our next story, it was a survey by country of people from e you countries, asking you a whole bunch of questions including whether people thought it was likely that the e u would fall apart in ten to twenty years in every country in the EU, except Spain majority of people said that was realistic, including fifty eight percent of the people in France. And that gets us to this elections for the European parliament or this weekend, and have been described as a battle for the soul of the European Union, essentially more union or less the economic consequences of which are enormous. Here's marketplace's Stephen beard, make no mistake says veteran French political analyst Dominic Mazi this vote is the most critical in the history of the European parliament way at stake. Fundamentally is the survival of the European Union project. Are we going to break it or to keep it Donald Trump's arrival in the White House? He says, along with the inexorable rise of China, make a United Europe more necessary than ever. There is less America in the world, and much more China, and they should be more Europe. And no one is more committed to more Europe than Emmanuel macro. The European and some not the Frenchman to celebrate Macron's victory in the French presidential election two years ago. It had been years since a main national position in western Europe, had run an election on an openly, and admittedly, and proudly per European message. That's Alexandra Holroyd French lawmaker from microns party on mush as president macro has cast himself as the savior of Europe. He's called for a joint e you military full. And my brain is functioning I can knock it out and twenty five thirty minutes if brain dead from travel or kids or whatever usually takes me about an hour. Can you give the listener in myself, a kind of a Reader's Digest synopsis of what that is? So the daily dose of frog logic really started probably four or five years ago and social media was really starting to go. And and you look at what other motivational guys because that's how I bench Mark. My my, you know, what's Tony Robbins doing measuring what we do that shit? Right. And I started to see these everybody these daily snippets. They've got out. And I was like, oh, yeah. Okay. I'll do that. And I'll bring my infinite amazing wisdom to people and man at first they sucked. Right. It was the typical canned bullshit of pulling some quote from Winston Churchill and then add my little Dom. Saudi Arabia, President Trump and US discussed on BTV Simulcast

"Happen. Sure. Punish them? We went to make sure that we have procedures in place to prevent it from happening again. For the very latest. We're joined by national editor Jodi Schneider, Gulf economy and government reporters and Middle East markets reporter Philippe at oh, let's get straight to you. Jodi from a global perspective. Angela Merkel has warned that the future of military sales society Arabia. What's a quarter of a billion euros is now under threat? This is ask elating. Would you say? I think escalating the right world where there's a lot of skepticism on the part of many of the allies of the US and in the US increasingly about the the evolving story that Saudi Arabia is telling about what happened to Mr.. So I think at this point Germany's reaction is probably the most substantive in terms of deciding to do something to hold on those arms sales in the US. President Trump has said that he is concerned about the deception and lies. I'm behalf of the Saudi government yet at the same time. He's saying that he thinks that the leader is the crown prince's a strong leader. And therefore he and he doesn't necessarily think he was involved. He wants more information and has not talked about any particular kind of. Reaction in terms of something substantive US might do he is under a great deal of pressure. President Trump on arms sales in from the US to Saudi Arabia, many members of congress, including members of his own party want him to halt arm sales. The president has reiterated that he doesn't want to do that. He thinks that what he calls one hundred ten billion dollars arms sales. Just go to other countries. I want to bring data into this conversation as well. A lot of movement on the Saudi side. We saw the Saudi foreign minister in about trying to take a position for the kingdom. But there's also a lot of movement of the Turkish side. Once again, we could get more details on the investigation. Maybe the coming hours. Absolutely. Because now that Turkish Prime minister Duan who has been silent since the beginning of this decided that he will reveal details in in all that clarity in on Tuesday in a speech that he's planning to make and so far a lot of people expecting that he would be providing evidence for the first time after weeks of leaks from the Turkish side, many of them water caddied out and then York Times, Washington posts and others. What able to use some of these leaks to tie the count prints to some of those people who carried out this attack. The question is just exactly what is going to deliver to the market. Let's bring in our stocks supported Philippa Jacko compensation volatility. I mean, if you're looking for global volatility Saudi Arabia really does personified, but they've managed whippet Ryan. So if the Chinese. Is the national team playing. Now, he's painted Sidey. Well, that's a very good question minutes. We do know that for example, yesterday was a very interesting session to to Washington actually, considering the middle of this whole situation that Saudis in the middle of we saw the index don't close to four percent at open. It was a very sharp move. You could clearly tell that people were just pricing all of the news from the weekend. There was a lot of events that happened since the close on Thursday a lot of official declaration from the US from Germany as we just mentioned. And then at the end of the day, the Dow. Who the main index was up zero point two percent, which is a very slight recover. You could tell that happened in the last thirty minutes what we hear on the ground and people that are actually in the middle of the market is that there's a lot of institutional money in Saudi there is buying while retail are Sally. So we know that there's a lot of speculation that this money could be linked to firms that are controlled by the government. It's hard to prove that, of course, we came to them. And we asked if they're doing this. They prefer not to common, and well, we think we continue to see that during this week. Okay, everybody. This is a discussion which is going to run

"On the land. Right now we recently celebrated our thirtieth anniversary as friends. We met in college at the tail end of August in nineteen eighty eight, and he was wearing Yankee hat. I was probably wearing some sort of Boston thing and we were natural enemies, but somehow fell in love anyway. Jacko. How are you. Good. My friend. How are you? I'm good. We haven't had a glud war at a while. We sometimes we have to go to the mattresses. We could fail this coming for a while. I really enjoyed when you were a sad sack loser on Twitter. I'm just gonna face that sec loser. We're not good enough. Pitchers. Later for you, the originator of the reverse jinx to me out on that is really hurt my mentor in these things to the pupil and you're, you're mocking me on this. By the time we get to that as game. You're tweeting about Luke Tober. You rented by dog just to name it. Luke what happened? Right? Why the one eighty Jacko change my dog's name. He gave them a little jolt. Give him a little Voight entered swagger. He's got a little Nick Swisher swagger, but he's actually like Nick Swisher. He's actually pretty good. Is that what we're con? PDD swagger. That's that's the name. Swagger PD come see, you know, I was really nervous about that well card game, and then I started watching the game and and you know, I don't really follow the as they're on the west coast where an exclusive Yankee guy. I was like, wait a second, their starters, one from Australia and to DFA June. Yeah, win. Second, I I feel better about this and then I kept hearing about the, you know, the strength of the as bullpen and they were going with a quote, unquote opener. You know, head of starter because their bullpen was so strong. I was like, isn't for no Rodney a key component in this bullpen as well as former familia. I'm like, oh, I'm not sure this is like the grids bullpen in the history of mankind. When those two are prominently involved, closing. Closing better. You got, you got to the Coser to you got to everybody. I had the same reaction as you and as you know, I'm in the crazy AL keeper league. Liam Hendriks couldn't start for any of the ten teams and ael only fantasy league. So I saw that he was a starter and I was just dumbfounded. I figured they were using as the him as the opener, but I didn't understand if you're gonna do that process, why do him?.

"Free range critics for your Jacko's. Yeah. So anyway, the real quick before we get to Leonard, actually something we wanted to discuss off the interview with Dan Grassi Yano when you were reluctant to get the crickets, is it because like it bothered you to send them to slaughter or on the cricket? Yeah. I mean, I'm perfectly comfortable eating meat and eating all kinds of things. I don't think Rick it every night. You know it out, cricket guy, just I just was I just kind of get the lose about them. I I, I don't want them coming out of the bag and then having to try to find them in my car. So basically I'm a wuss. Which movies were the kid freeze all the frogs before they get dissected. Oh, you know, like the the class like riots basically it gets in trouble. Oh, it's e. Right? It's evenly Elliot's wanting us all. Yeah, the beer right when when ET was actually drinking the beer because they're connected, and then he sets all the frogs free well. Oh, that's nice. That would be. Yeah. So. Little crickets. Your free now, if so, if there's a giant bug in one of your houses to who kills it, you or your wife me, I mean, okay, absolutely. And so I would prefer not to, but she makes me and then still gives me a hard time for not being up the crickets. I'm the one who's killing all the big Bugner house. I tried to do a catch and release program when I can. But there are certain times when I feel like you know what you you took the risk of coming into my house. Well, I can't do catch and release because my daughter gets so frightened by the bugs that she has to see me kill them in order to be convinced that they're gone. She wants to see the corpse. There's no catch and release once you enter the house. Now I agree. I agree with you die. The flip side is when I'm outside. I don't step on them. That's their area. Yep. But when you come in the house, I support that run. I try to. It's essentially the self defense argument. You know, like if somebody breaks into your house at that point, you have the right to defend yourself. Once you once you're bug breaking into my home, I have the ability to take you out, but there's there's also hierarchy here of what you take out. Like it's a little spider over. It's like a cricket or something like that. If it's a cockroach that thing gets killed, which you don't mess around with those get killed because they're not cute, which. You know, are you a little surprised that coli didn't just grab the bat in his hand image and only do it was Hawaii on the team. I presume so. While you're while you're. Week log you was that was a lot longer ago than you think. No kidding. I will. I will look that up. Meanwhile, speaking, speaking of Leonard, those that way of getting stuff done. Yes. Exactly. He was officially introduced as a member of the Toronto Raptors and as everybody knows, it was a circus leading up to that point. And there was the drama between him and the Spurs, and he's also somebody that nobody knows anything about because he never talks. So this is one of those rare occasions where you have Kawhi Leonard at a setting where he has to speak, and he revealed some very interesting information about him and his personality. I'm a fun guy. It you just feel the fun. When I think of Leonard, I, I'm fun guy. By the way. It was two thousand nine thousand eleven. So you guys are credit. I. I'm in. Why. It was one of those things I in the like the Toronto. He's such a blank slate, and I think they don't want every question to be like, no seriously. What the hell happened in San Antonio so there, hey, like it's is our guy now let's get to know them, but like nobody knows anything about him. So the question was just so tell us about yourself. Why? What's interesting about you. How would you describe yourself and what would you like people to know about you? I'm fun guy. Obviously. I love the game basketball. I mean, it just more question. You have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself..

I even have a little bit of a different perspective on it as somebody who has is apparent of kids, poise us sports and I put myself in that situation. But first of all, what were the highlights for you this time around. The highlight was just the the entire Hawaiian team was just so fun to watch. And I'm gonna start venturing into territory where people are like they can't believe how serious I am about this, but I should reiterate that I'm one hundred percent serious. I got. I got very into Little League World series this year and just the the the entire Hawaiian team was like incredible with just not how good they were, but how they handled everything like off the field. And meanwhile, there's a hurricane barreling toward their hometown as they're playing in the literally World Series and just like the coaching staff, all the players like everything about it was awesome, and it's so corny and so cheesy and all that other stuff to say. But like it that it was. They represented like everything. Why I like the World Series so much that like they won the thing and then they immediately like the coach, never the coach. Never got excited that his team one is dislike, always praising the other teams and always saying thank you to the volunteers for putting on the event and all that kind of stuff. And it's super cheesy, and it's easy to get cynical, especially in the world of sports that we live. But I don't know this stuff totally works on me..
