"We wanted to talk about Jack where you're going to be on Saturday, June eighth and it's not just you. It's Jim is going to be there. John's going to be there in spirit and on a video board. And most importantly, the headliner Jackie Harbaugh will be there as well. Tell us about the outlook youth football camp and is awesome things to celebrate football tied in it's, it's it's two segments to first segment is Dow camp. The youth camp that he's had last year there two hundred and sixty youngsters came fifteen dollars per camper. And if that's a problem that, that can be waived. That's the outlet way of doing things. There'd be college coaches. There will be Michigan football players, there at Warner, there's going to be there. It's, it's going to be a tremendous event. But what L had the vision of is football's in stress right now, concussions and, and moms are concerned about football. Is it safer? My youngster to play football at what age should they play? So al. Had this idea of a Jackson county celebration football. It'll be one hour before the camp starts. We have some excellent excellent speakers. Dr Chris, Hutchinson, who is a doctor, an ER doctor someone that has played football has a son plays football and he's going to be there. John Jensen will be there fifteen year football player has son in making the decision about him playing John has put together a five minute video why football matters and I've seen it and I've watched it, and I've listened to it and it's about it is finally done as you'd ever ever wanna see. And a mother grandmother father someone this looking at this do I want my fourth fifth sixth. Seventh eighth grader involved in football. This is a must see. And we'll have that, that video several players will be there. And then Jackie. Jackie did this last year in Grand Rapids brought the crowd to their feet with a standing ovation when mom's stood up there and talked about the four CS the four CS and the four CS were finals competition confidence courage 'cause but the feature was competition. Here's a mom talking to other mothers about what's wrong with competition. Whether you're in the third grade the fourth grade to fifth grade. No. That's what our life all centers around the importance of that. And then Sam Webb today on the show that we did today. He talked about the sea for him as courage. Football is a sport that demands courage for a youngster to stand up and beat tested its fourth down one yard to go on the goal line. They're digging in the offense is trying to score the defensive striving to stop them and nose-to-nose toes-to-toes. We come together as a team to resolve this issue on the goal line football presents. Challenge in and Jackie talked about that. And and, and got us I say a standing ovation..

"Yes. I've never had fried chicken quite tasted like. Unique flavor all tone. Maybe it was reminiscent to the plastics that they put in it. I think at the time. Preservatives or press the preservatives, a unique taste. So that was good. Life was never met. No. So so Jack, were you at the forty nine or Super Bowl? We were after that game. How long did it take the two of you to have a private conversation with Jim and I or John and Jim, and Jim or John either way. After. Two things, you know, Jim, how, how? How often do you speak you dead before? An important game we're event and and when you win and you have a big victory in life, how long does it take you to call you dead? Because I know I make that call pretty quick myself and curious. Echo comes real quick. We knew and John nobody sells celebrates a win like the Harbaugh's to. There's there's no question about it leading up to the game. He was. He was Jack Harbaugh, Jackie Harbaugh were good. They weren't. They weren't rooting for either team. There were they, they came by, you know, our team hotel and they went by John's team hotel and they were. They were good. They were good. And then after the game, right after the game, my dad was came down to the locker room was one of the first people to talk to me after the game a hug. So who did you speak to? I John Thanksgiving Day two thousand eleven. Oh thanksgiving. When the ravens played the forty nine, that was thanksgiving night thanksgiving evening. That was his fiftieth wedding anniversary next day was our Our fifth. fiftieth wedding anniversary. Can you imagine, who did you speak to? I after that, oh, John went to John and talk to him, and then and then came to Jim, and I got to quivering lip and the the beady eyes. And you know the. Those moments and. The Super Bowl was such a fantastic experience right up until kickoff when the ball was rolling end over end down to the other end of the field. I looked at my wife and I said, what are we in for understanding that any kind of emotion at all would signal that you might favor one over the other? So for three and a half hours, maybe more so with the delay with the lights going out. But we, we didn't make any movement at all in scratch. Our head didn't raise our arms, didn't smile. Didn't do anything for fear that there might be might be an indication or a camera that would show that we would prefer one over the other. So do you think that when a lights out at affected the game? I don't know. Jim, what do you think? Did it feel different? We had had a little experience with it. Actually, we had I might have been our second or third time. It was leased our third time. Maybe our fourth time that the lights had gone out on us. It happened already twice a candlestick. It once a Monday night game and once on a in a preseason game. So I think that was our third time. I mean that the score changed when we came back after the after the lights went out, we were down. I think we're down twenty seven or twenty eight points. And then we came back to where we had a shot to win it at the end. When we were down five, we had the ball, got it all the way to the five yard line. And so I don't know. I don't know if it did or didn't. I was really proud of our team for for coming back and Sav we lost, but really proud for my brother really happy for my brother and, and so I had all those different emotions going like my dad's talking about the that he has two sons key competing against John you. The game is over and we're standing up. We were in a box up there and the confetti was flying, and the lights were gone in the blaring and they were bringing out the podium to present the. Super Bowl, and we're looking down and you feel that they're here. Here's your son that has just won the Super Bowl, maybe the greatest prize and all sport, and there was no emotion. I mean, he didn't feel each didn't feel like he should feel when your son is just won the Super Bowl and we couldn't couldn't wrap our arms around that..

We've been joined by a friend and a mentor mine and somebody that has been an absolutely tireless champion of legal services and access to Justice for every single person across our country, and jumping v and John has his own family history and public service and has been the head of the legal services board for jungle. How many years eight years now and has been doing just carrying so much water to make sure that these issues continue to get carried on from democratic and Republican administrations, and it's not looked at are seen as a partisan issue. And he's been a dear friend and a today. She had forget so pleasure to be with you. John very, very, very famous father of his own attorney general for Gerald r forward, John Levy, welcome to the show. Thank you. Thank you guys and thank you for what you're doing to help shine a light on this really incredible problem that we're having across the country. Getting legal assistance to so many folks who needed and that we're leaving out of the system. In fact, Joe and Jim, you were both there when we released the Justice gap study a year ago and Jim, you use the remarkable very compelling analogy about if you only gave your team twenty twenty percent of the team that could afford them helmets and sent the rest of the team out to play without him and see what happened. Yeah, it would be very pretty. Thank you. Say remarkable now. General. If everybody's ever told me that before that's a, that's a I haven't never mentioned in your lifetime or something that you've done. That's remarkable. Yes. I want to know you're in some deep thought right there. He came up with that one on his own to Jack. I'm amazed that I did. He didn't respond more quickly. Yeah, he turned to me before he got up and said, you know, I think I'll say something like this. That's that'll be. That'd be amazing. That's Terrific. Well, you doing great. John cups, the cubs, how they doing well, I didn't like how they how they played yesterday against San Diego, but they got a few injuries right now, but I think they'll be okay. They gotta get Darvish and Kris Bryant back in there. But as Joe said, we all we all free. She ate you and the country owes an incredible gratitude for everything that you've been able to accomplish with with legal services and talk about the the budget. It was renewed this year, and I know that was something that you worked tirelessly on, where's where? Where does legal.
