Net flicks his hit and miss on their on their original movies So i don't know maybe maybe it'll be good. We don't know I do this seems to be the trend in hollywood over the past several five years or so maybe maybe a little longer to To take to take an wash away all the sequels and do a direct a direct sequel after some time to kind of revitalize these franchises so keeping true to form. You know this is what they're going to do with this one but maybe it's a good thing. Well it's an interesting pivot. Just because we've sort of gone through the Straight up reboot. And i know that jessica deal was in the the flat-out reboots of Texas chainsaw massacre we've had the Jackie earle haley nightmare. The rob zombie. Halloween's i don't know who did friday the thirteenth Like at and again the rebooting the the reinvigoration. And then okay. We'll that either didn't stick or we don't want to move forward with those properties let's just make a sequel to the original and pretend that nothing else happened. And so and it's worked with the productions on halloween with the return of jamie lee. Curtis and i'm you know you have me at the at the name. Texas chainsaw massacre. I check it out But as it as it is going to net flicks. I wonder if it will be that Sort of gory. Horror fast that. I would want from something that says. You know chainsaw massacre in the title. Is it going to be in texas chainsaw massacre or is it just going around and it might be. It could be it. I'm not discounting the possibility it's just we'll wait and see like if if If his work on blood feast is any indication than it will be a gore fest which was probably what everybody wants to see from that that kind of a sequel anyways okay. "Everyone chat cemetery is back. I'm your host diana chapman and today i am joined by brazzi hodson to discuss the unfortunate dark tower movie. That's probably the best adjutant for it. I was watching it. And i was like okay. You know. i've heard this was bad because this was one. I specifically did not watch when it came out because a lot of people were saying it was bad and i hadn't quite started this podcast just yet so i wasn't really like into the dark tower story at all. I hadn't read any of the books so it was one. I was okay skipping at the time but then with all of the negative reviews i was like. Oh i'm just gonna wait until i have to watch it for the podcast because i get the feeling. It's not when i'm going to want to rewatch and yikes yeah. I think the the best review. I read about it was on roger ebert site. It said something white guy you know. Have the opening. Line of the gunslinger. The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed. And then the review is like you know with this amazing opening line. Stephen king hooked millions of fans for decades and decades long journey into this world with role in the gunslinger in not only is the movie mediocre movie. But it doesn't even try to fulfil the promise of that. And i think that kind of sums it up best. Yeah i mean. I want to talk about the cast real quick before we dive into the story and everything because i do think the cast is the most impressive part about this movie but even then you have idris elba as rolling. You have matthew mcconaughey as the man in black. You know randall. Flagg whatever you wanna call him. He has like twenty eight hundred names and the two of them alone. I feel. I should have been enough to make this movie work. And you know it's only about an hour and a half which seems way too short for dark tower movie but because the cast is really so small as far as the main characters go. You don't really know if you know you're going to have any supporting cast. Who really stand out in this story. The way it's told in this movie doesn't really give much of a chance for that you. Have you know tom taylor as jake as well. And then everyone else is just really there and they don't all really have a purpose. You know the screen emmy catherine winning plays his mother. Yeah and jackie earle haley. You know and it's just like they're kind of thrown aside. It's definitely one of those movies where you wonder if there's a director's cut on the floor somewhere. That might have some interesting beat to it is the movie does feel like it's it's racing from one plot point to the next. It's basically the structure of the movie is exposition. Plot point exposition plot point exposition plot point. And that's it and it's it's almost as though the filmmakers aren't interested in the material they wanna race through with race through it all and just get it over with which is kind of crazy because you have big names behind this you know you have the screenplay that akiva goldsman was involved with also produced by them and ron howard and you know i'm not familiar with the director but at the same time i'm just kind of like okay. There are a lot of familiar names involved in this cast and crew and it just fail so spectacularly. It feels like something that got noted today desk at the studio. Yeah i read an interview. Recently with ron howard. In he said his biggest regret about that movie is that they didn't trust the source material. And that instead of running away. From all the weirdness in the books they should've just leaned into it. And i think that's that's the case you can take this. You know the dark tower novels especially when you're doing a movie like this where they're trying to pull from several books instead of just adapting. The first book has so much interesting. Unique bazaar a regional elements who it. That's you can feel while you're watching the movie that it probably scared the hell out of everybody involved with it they had. They weren't confident in how to adapt it and so we just decided to not new. Those in so the kind of life in the flavor of it is just gone. I mean the fact that it's it's about role in the gunslinger in. We hardly see any guns right. It's like one or two scenes that i recall. They're pretty lacklustre. Two hundred. Whoever we have amazing like john wicks style gunfights right. That's all they give us but on top of that just the whole western field. I mean that's i think one of the draws to the dr tower books is taking this what feels like an old westworld and dropping fantasy horror elements on it in. There was very little movie. That celts like a western. I think there's one little town that they go to. After jake it's pulled into to rowlands world. That almost has an old west vibe. That's it never responding most for time in new york where kind of felt like a gypsy masters of the universe. The nineteen eighties dolph longer in human movie. I did not. that's basically. It was a bad movie. A i was a kid when it came for watch eighty seven times. But that's exactly what this thing felt like is just this you know we. We have this fantasy property. We don't know how to adapt it. So let's just take the main character and pull them into our world and try to do a fish out of water thing and it just was so bland as a result yan even though it made money at the box office not a ton but the budget was sixty six million. It made like one hundred thirteen million which okay at least it lose money. you know. But i went to the wikipedia. Page to look something up while i was watching this and the first paragraph you know after the break where it gives you a breakdown of who was in it who was involved. It says intended as the first installment in multi franchise the film combines various elements from the eighth novel series and takes place in both modern day new york city and in mid world rollins old west style parallel universe. The film also serves as a sequel to the novels. So it wants to be a first instalment..

How which makes it like thirty times. Worse losing it have you Revisited that i have not but jackie earle. Haley is kind of almost playing. This looks like the same type of character in a movie that i just watched. That was john stockwell as well. Now your. I don't remember this movie at all but we've talked. Oh it's got a cavalcade of shelley long senate. Tom cruise is the main character as names. Woody woody john p navin junior as you see him. Yeah as wendell. I love those like it when you used to be able to name somebody something and you're like oh well he's at the door or the you know virgin or whatever. Rick rostropovich was in so many meal. Us i mean. What year was this. Losing it is eighty three anyway. I love recruit cevic. His just the big dumb guy from every movie His boyfriend and terminator yip is he. The love interest in rock san well. He's the one that is in love. With daryl hannah and okay martin is riding his lines for him okay trying to portray him. Gotcha yes sarah no diversion. I quote this movie too often. It's very quotable. Yes but where. He's got an earpiece in st martins like in the van trying to tell him things to say and he says he's i'm afraid of worms roxanne were obscure best it's Yea gosh seeing him. Olders kind of shocking. I've only seen him as like a super buff. Young guy but super buff old guy. Yeah i guess so I should've figured he would be in like Like ncis or one of those types of shows he'd fit in that yeah m- anyway. Sorry i completely. I just wanted to say. Jackie earle haley name. That's it and then. I got caught up into losing and great. That has a ton of people in it. And i haven't seen it in probably. I don't remember if i had seen it. We'll get to it avenged all right. Jackie earle haley. Most notably recently was Watchman playing rohrschack and The new freddie krueger which everybody hated. I have to admit i did not watch the entire movie okay. I know. there's a big controversy. You know whether whether whether. And i don't remember if we talked about it too but whether freddy krueger's in the canon of the films was he a pedophile. Or not. Because it's been hinted around but the are just i don't know..

"But there's also a an entire staff of producers here at rich eisen who send you a little nuggets little facts about the day and things that happened in this date in history and in nineteen ninety nine july fourteenth nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine. The blair witch project was released. Now this movie. I think was ahead of its time before cell phone footage before we were used to seeing grainy footage or footage that was hand-held and shaky along comes this movie about these kids in the woods. And there's a ghost and i just remember remember being terrified and to be honest. I don't think i've gone back to a scary movie since. Not because i don't like the experience but i don't think anything could top that original blair witch because now it's just turns and violent and i don't need a guy named jigsaw. Looks like a clown peeling back eyeballs. Like life is too short hostile. The hills have eyes. I'm a knicks fan. I have enough pain in my life. Okay i don't need to sign up and spend eighteen dollars to go get more. But the blair witch project this date in history nine hundred ninety nine a sundance movie. A watershed moment in film. Making an independent filmmaking. I think the film cost a dollar fifty to make and made six hundred million dollars. I think is something around that. I have to check the numbers. A couple of famous birthdays conor mcgregor one of my least favorite athletes. I'm not gonna lie watching. A guy breaks his ankle. Lie down on the ground in scream to his opponent that his wife's hating on them that's not sports to me. That's just a circus. So happy birthday hope. Your ankle feels better. Connor jane lynch one of my father. One of the funniest women in hollywood is. It's her birthday today. As is jackie. Earle haley. Jackie earle haley. Who had a wild career. But to me i always love him as the guy never got the big check and semi pro. I can semi pro. He's always owed the big check from hitting the half court name in to consider baking the able to catch it in the end like such a great little random role for jackie earle. Haley derail rebus his birthday today with one of the great nicknames rivas islands because i think there's an art to having a sports nickname that also has your real name. It's not the splendid splinter where the say. Hey kid or the greek freak but having your real name as part of your nickname reverse island air jordan wade county. I love that. "Feeling part is it's very easy to block. Yeah i definitely went over the top with a villian part. Definitely i got the note to bring it down a lot when you have been on set with all the time. He's really the kind of compass all the time and But they they did give us a fair amount of latitude to kind of explore and find out where those edges were. And i think that was the fun especially in the beginning you know and and and it it would change seen episode to episode. But but there there definitely was a sense of will know when we've gone too far and will know and we haven't gone far enough and the best thing is an actors being able to feel so much trust with the people who are in charge that you can just you just put it all out there and they'll tell you when you know you need to do something different. I definitely felt taken care of. Like i knew i could play. It would bring me back and that that allows her really wonderful sense of freedom. The ben they referred to is ben edlund who adopted the comic and created this series. We had a certain hurdle to overcome because of all the previous versions and people's affections. I with people's affections. So what we wanted to build our own bank account of present day people care about peter as the tick in griffin is arthur. And and they do. I mean like I think there's holdouts here and there but I've just had a lot of Experience now talking to people that really gave us the benefit of the doubt then enjoyed their experience was and have gotten into this new version. I'm pretty happy. What about all the superhero shows on the air and even online. I can't imagine like is he going to be more like two years or something like oh man. I should've waited like how could this be more like huck. Would there be more and maybe there will be. I don't know but this is a lot so the level of superhero fluency basically that this culture has been forced to absorb. It just puts us in this position where even casual. Even if you've only seen superhero advertisements like advertisements for products that have decided superheroes should be their mascots. You've learned more than you could probably pick up passively fifteen years ago. You know like we're just soaking in that right So it's a great time. For which character is your favorite. They are all my favorite. No i mean in a way. They're all my favorite. Like i think you know in terms of It's amazing to work with peter. What's amazing with griffin and watched them work together Just because they both have really taken on these characters in invested in them and they've been their relationship together they'd be bouncing off each other like refining each other's performance and that sort of intimacy is fantastic so that all feels good watching characters that didn't exist before kind of come into like full being so like overkill superior You know it's not. I mean like the terror has been amazing. Because i've been actually a fan of jackie earle. Haley like seriously since of bad news. Bears like i. He was the cool kid like. Yeah i was totally like into that kid. In the we talked to grownups. I'm going to miss that kid. I wish i could know that kid now. I know that kid is the terry But like that's been an amazing thing. just Watching this round of like creatures and characters come alive and have people embrace them. It's been really Reaffirming because it's you know. This is the fourth run now at this thing. I remember san diego. You helped hearing kind. That came into you. Tell kind of build a world revolution woohoo. You worked on supernatural yes Was it kind of easier to kind of build this world because the characters were established a capacity close to those. We've had no well along and do it on your own. I mean i'd say there were things that were easier because the things that sort of said well. You won't make any other decision. But this is what i mean like. I don't know there were other ways to go but for me there was no real choice but like the terror would be sort of the big bad of the first season. And he's got this heritage. That goes all the way back. And he's very generic. The word is perfect. Like it's like so there were advantages that came from having all his you know heritage but then i was a lot less terrified. You know pulling stuff out of my ass for like revolution Or because there wasn't a thing to like mess up it was like oh we're just trying to tell the story and get it out there. Make people understand things. And also i was not the the buck stops here guy so i could always blame someone else. You know. that was eric's fault But no so it was fun. That was a different thing but this has been super scary. Super gratifying to do this. Thanks guys special. Thanks amazon new york comic con. It's funny because i finally showed my kid the beginning of trainspotting so she could see the guy that i referred to in grey's anatomy strains gotcha inside and looks. He looks. he's so much younger. He looks so different. But you can totally tell him are no the man's name. Trainspotting grays kevin kevin mckay. That doesn't say oh. Yeah no fuck that guy. I mean it wouldn't be out of mirror talking about the net. yes thank you. Thank you talking about the sandra bullock vehicle the net. And that's where the the character pie appears on your screen. And then i think you get you get the ringed as he aren't the this this. This movie was what we would watching computer class when it was not the time that was seen as a very silly movie in well. Apparently in two thousand in line was not seen as a silly movie by my computer teacher years old. Yeah thought that lennox was a company. Ole boy you a but oh. Gosh is the year of linens on the desktop. It's pronounced lennox. Actually it's pronounced lean ass- lean is that. Oh gosh lena. That's his real name. His name salinas is his name leanest pauling or is that the guy who invented vitamin c. Wow invented vitamin c is that like inventing the de. Do you invent a vitamin no. You throw the d. okay event. The c. vitamin c was also a a solo artist. That had a hit in late nineties. And i'd seen her performing with the band that she was in before vitamin c. Which whose name escapes me. What was the name of that band. Vitamin c. girl band and it was as the it is. It's one of those one of those letters to cleo type names vitamin c. graduation song. Yeah prince forever yeah. She's so cute. Oh this song. I mean it was. It was played at every graduation in the nineties. I believe she was like she was in liga. Pretty hard hard rock and indie rock band really. Oh yeah yeah yeah. Let's see cows all the time eve's plum which is a joke with the name of actors from the brady bunch eve's plum there you go. Yeah that's pretty anyway I guess that's it for this week. Yeah yeah recording. I mean i am okay yes. I am double checked. I o kosh a friend of the show mark graham hill. i think. Got my loop back to work. But i was too afraid to test it on on this show so i'll throw one of my other shows under the bus and doesn't it then but i i'm very excited to you. Know play very disarming noises out of i guess how to use that. Someday it's on my list Oh yeah you we. We want to talk about The toilet snake. Oh okay yes yes. I just in the early morning times. I saw headline from cnn. World man bitten by neighbors escaped python while sitting on the toilet. And i immediately thought. This is either florida or australia. It's gotta be city yourself. It's got to be australia. Yes yeah exactly. Where else would a python come out of a toilet Flaws if we're being honest florida too. But it's got australia all over. I had no no. It was austria austria ryan. So close. I just want to mention this. You see the headline. I put in here so i look at it. Google news a few times a day. Which i don't know. Why do i still do out of habit. I just look at it sometimes and you know. Sometimes they'll be like a persistent thing. That just won't go away like some like even. If it's the thing i want to hear about like matt gaetz sometimes they'll be something there over and over and over and i say show me less the shimmy shimmy less but the headline that i saw probably seven times yesterday was the following headline austrian man bitten by python during visit to the toilet and i was. I could not stop. I understand you know what this is. In the guardian and two countries divided by a shared language. Did he visit the toilet because it kind of sounds like he's he's on a german doing that but austin's have more dignity than that. Would you go on a toilet vacation. I mean is there the toilet. No i'm not going to take a huge. I'm going to do an absolute paint job on it. But i am but i am going to visit it. Take some photos. Pick up some souvenir sometimes. Just gotta check. The mud pie is just asking some questions you know. He's just as joe rogan podcast club. He had a visit to the toilet. You ever visit.

"What I know. That that's what I know. People shouldn't disparage any body for not having seen something they should just say, well, you should see it for these reasons I. Hope you like it. Tell me you think when you see it, it's you know there there's so many movies and there's only so much time in our lives. You know. So you just add you know it gets higher on the queue or not if people. Got GotTa see it. But that's what I you haven't to weird science I don't know maybe it will meet your expectations maybe it'll feel really dated but. John Hughes ended is sort of wet nickel eighties. So you might enjoy recently have this like Cohen and Dr have that much kind of like out. Right. Colin has a specific honor that allows an I I tend to go for more modern movies but just recently, we were talking about seven Reid David fincher seven collins never seen seven and I was like all right his the cost I'm GonNa make you watch seven. We're going to talk about it. Yeah. That's what's great about doing our picks and I can't wait for monster squad roll around I don't even what are you? I have no idea you know and like I I can't i. Can't wait for that and there's you know. So that was kind of getting back to Patrick Patrick question that was kind of his first one is the follow up his second one. And I can't believe he's GonNa make the ask this. What does Alex winter smell like I mentioned fresh cut grass. He smells like a phone booth he smells like he's been his. For. Time. Yata raves. Is I really questioned what is was? Like. I'm going to tell Alex Winter. He said that Dude I'm sure. He was like Oh my God I can't he loves. Alex winters. Susie and have pop up stuff and. I. Have. Tremendous, admiration for winter because. You. Know like everyone else I knew I was winter from las boys in building tears in and freaked. but that's about it and and I only I never knew the human being the persona of the person. And I knew that he was documentary filmmaker and I was very impressed with Adnan. His movies are very smart and very in depth and they cover a wide. Real broad spectrum of territory with the type of stuff he does and. I got to interview him. On the thirty, th anniversary of bill and Ted for Hollywood reporter and that's the first time I sat down with him and that was when I said I know it might be a little uncouth but I'm GONNA take up by journalists head and going put on the documentary filmmaker head and I'd love to have you in search of darkness and he's like absolutely sure no problem and He is a smart guy and is extremely articulate guy and he's an extremely amiable fellow and. and. It's that much more impressive because he's nothing like his you know his his. Is Build Persona. Who's you know Dope Pagano a happy dope. And So it's real refreshing. Obviously you're like well, it's called acting but I You Know Bill Bill Preston esquire is is such a fixture that it's it's hard to remember that there is just an actor behind that persona and you expect him to be like bill and Wendy. He's not. It's it's very doubly. Impressive. And he smells he smells like. Like Jasmine and vanilla. The phone. He he does look question smells quite good. Patrick Right I imagine you freeze Moseley fresh cut grass. Is the best? Compliment that's not either says he's been picnic picnic picnicking outside or rolling around on the. Writing I do it. I love Moen. Let's like one of the few things I actually love mowing law enforcement. No. So where are we right now right? Yeah. We're. So when? I would prefer that he smelled like foliage, but I'll take the first. So. Yeah. Those were kind of Patrick's questions. One of the things that I that I kind of wanted to bring up was with the with the revival in horror with there being not only new stop but also remakes and reboots and stop. Is there a movie that you've that is there it's kind of a two part question is there one that you're like for the love of God don't ever do that or this definitely needs to be re again. Is there something that sacrosanct? You're? No, don't do that or something that you really WanNa see dot. I I've gone through an evolution in my thinking about remakes. Encapsulated in short sentence Tom. I think that's I don't have any you go ahead. I was GONNA. Say while you think of that I I'm having to throw out one that I personally like ends. In this is a MAG that I think you're not a Lotta people love but I love it because I started when I was a kid and it really introduced to the franchise, the two thousand and three Texas chainsaw massacre. I I. Have a weird love for that. Very a Darnall Y. it's very it's very Mukelebai Affi- because now you. GotTa. Anyway gone. So, what was that? One Word Jessica. That's that's. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Jessica I guess but yeah, like the. That kind of made. Me Say in revisiting erasing recently that really made me see that franchise done in a different way like a different perspective, which is I guess what good does. Before. I mean like Star Wars I don't make dumb remake star wars but it's like down the road it'll happen it's going to happen. Here's the thing there will always be remixed always have been remix. There've been remixed way before we were born we've seen remakes we didn't even know remakes and then we learned they were remakes later they're remakes at are terrible and their remake center that are that are incredibly well done. You know, and so a lot of it has to do with how how emotionally connected are you in to the original and whether you feel like remake is necessary or not, and you're willing to spend the money to watch it. You know the eighties is just like you've got you've got. Nothing. The fly a blob are all remakes and they're all great remakes of those bums. Arguably though one of the reasons why the thing did so poorly was you know people like Howard hawks produced the thing from another world in the fifties and you know if you think about it was only. Twenty five years later that John Carpenter comes along and makes the thing which is. What what Roger Ebert Ebert called the BARF bag movie of the summer you know And it was over the top and it was. Lacking subtlety. All these reasons why they hated it. And I understand why they you know they look at the one that they loved, and then they see carpenter and they're just like this absolute crap for a handful of reasons. Now, of course, we all know from our generation at it's become. ICONIC film it's one of my all time favorites and a standalone film. It's just it's. It's amazing. It's such a well-crafted. You know it's a it's a potboiler anyway. My point is You know. Child's play. I refused to see the child's play remake I refuse to see the poltergeist remake, but there's some remakes a come along where I'm like I. Don't know I i. Saw I saw the nightmare announced date remake because I was curious because I like Jackie Earle Haley and that was the reason to go but I thought it was terrible. But that doesn't mean that the people who were seen that for the first time can't.

"They clearly like hey. We need to make something a little bit more like. Mainstream but NY Inkatha. Make it so we can sell toys. Because the as real weird, they would have cartoons toys of stuff that's rated R.. But. It's also it's almost as if. 'cause. I heard this weird commercials in that one. To throw the movie searches that one with about the car alarm delay shock, people right. Yeah, It's almost like. The people who made partout watched part one and we're like. It took everything that they weren't supposed to for like the, but they got out of. It wasn't what you should have got out of it and they kind of like Oh this these. Like one commercial whistle a bunch of those like. Let's make this kind of goofy. Yeah, you know and kind of like. A kind of it's just like. They did what they. the kind of we're trying to make something more I don't know. Less less. It's just another. Classic Eighty Shit Man it is it is this is, it's just it's fantastic, but I'll use as fans to Kinda. Kinda sucks either dig it. I'll watch it, but then they didn't like really blew for some reason. I, don't know why But, it's is part. Three is horrible, so, didn't they? They do it, they didn't they didn't. They? Do a current one again? They remade or something sure did I share. taught was dog shit? Okay so a lot of people say it's dog shit. I'm more of like entertained by. It I tried to be too hard on stuff. although I thought the design of was real weird. So. He was all robot except for his. Left hand. So he would look you look at them. And I keep the face. But his left hand, which just a normal left hand it's Kinda creepy yet it was, but it looks dumb was just a weird aesthetically didn't really work Ed. They showroom in the movie and the new one like was left of him. And it's it's. It's just like the left hand and like. His brain like face and stuff. And they got. They get rid of a bunch of of his I like kind of crazy Gary Oldman's in it and he's great. Your, she watchmen. Yeah, the place rohrschack is, camera. Kelly from bad news bears. Yep, he's an. He's grace a lot of movies lately. Yeah, he's in that. I hit you up about that Alita the battle, Angel or Z. Nick. He's he's the the big jacked Cyborg. That's hen dog. Watch it again because I've seen in. The little things out of his hand. Jackie Earle Haley summit the I think his name is Kelly from big bad news bears. It's, but there will remake his Kinda. It's. I duNno, they. It's almost like so tyler like those Christopher Nolan by movies, which to make things too realistic and give everything of fucking reason when it's like. Just be ridiculous. Batmans ridiculous. You don't need to be make it. Realistic was the point of making realistic was realistic by guy becoming a robot. What's realistic about a guy? Just a bat suit? Embrace it. It's a that's like. Seguin cutting off the rails here, but you know I don't think we were ever on the rails. The marvel movies. They don't play things realistic at all and those are. Great and You know I just think there's two were living. Dana Age when movies come out. There's no vagueness. There's no kind of like thought behind like there's no editing your head to be like well. We don't have to explain everything. They want to explain every single thing and have every single thing laid out. You know like when you. It's just like an robocop remake robocop. They had explained every single function by Arab of science behind all this and they're like so worried about making the sides make sense. Besides won't make sense anyway, because it can't be done, so why even try to make it accurate I hate? I hate that? She's like it's like when you when our kids watching robocop terminator stuff. Yeah, just took it for what it fucking was exactly you weren't like all. There's a plot hole here. It's like. Oh i. need to know exactly how this Does this this technology sides behind this robot from the future coming back into the past, and like the math questions and it's like no. This is the future. They told they have the technology in the future. That's all you to know. Exactly. WHO's covered him flesh? Beyond belief that this dude came from somewhere where he doesn't belong. I, that was a big lake pet peeve. I had for a long time. Is a hated all the remakes they were doing, you know. 'cause like Yo. Just because this shit was awesome back in the eighties early nineties is because man. It was awesome for what it was that timeframe. It was put out. And then you see these remakes in your. It's dog shit. It's dog shit. Yeah, you know except I'll say this. And I held out on this one for a while Mad Max fury road. That's not a remake, but that's the thing. I thought it was a remake. All. They're gonNA. Try to create this shit so that everyone's like it's bad ass as bad ass, and I was a whatever, and then when it came out on like on demand and I watch it I was like. I can't believe I missed missed out on this in the theater like that's one of the best movies I've seen like like. That's a good fucking movie. Who would have thought like a two hour chase movie? It's wonderful and that's the thing with like. But that movie right? I mean. It's not a remake. It's kind of a sly way to like rerouted because like the with the with the thought by the same director as the original George Miller everything. Yeah, he read it. Is that all these Mad Max movies are stories about mad. Max Sir you're kind of getting it from different perspectives and you don't know they. There's never going to be one. You got different actresses colleague James, Bond. You know different tales of like of like mad. Max, can kind of go on. For as long as they want to with whatever they WANNA. Do you know that? But I. Agree with you. There was a time when they were just fucking like Oh. This was popular in the eighties. Let's remake it strip everything. That's good about it now and take like the like it's. It's almost people are watching the trailers never watch the movies, but wash the challenge for the originals and made a movie based on Truglia. It's just like so bad dude and I'm I I? Kinda think Hollywood getting over that a bit because movies at sucking, not making money. the although there are few remix a a do do like like the hills. Have Eyes thought rate remained that? guy named Alexandra Alexander Aw. The wrong name right now and I believe. Good scripted movie. That evil dead that came out now. Fantastic man. That's Army darkness stuff right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, so they. It was like you receivable dead one into new before that..

"We specifically went to an wrote down that it was nine to reference so new but favorite yeah But yeah that one I just is really like because that was the exploration of her as like her character and her coming to terms with like her father is but then like I really liked that it was really went into those like essential questions of like like. Oh life isn't special like like synopsis. You said he left to make life on other planets like what that's not a case issues left because he didn't think significantly significant event in well he said maybe I'll go make some of my own. Oh yes he says so yes. It is significant. Because that's the reason and why he finds connection to humanity because he says thermodynamic Miracle Right but then like towards the end where ever nine or whatever he there on Mars. And you're like look there's you you know there's no there. There are ninety there are cliffs that are ninety miles high. What a pipeline oil pipeline? Make this better you know woven eleven laurel starts losing the fascistic. I guess to your point like nothing really matters but then she starts crying and then he opens and says you are my only connection to humanity and realizing realizing that out of circumstances at other people and thousands of sperm from that people end up making. You can't say realization like a woman who made love to someone that she can only hate made you menu and so it's like yeah it's like girl to hear that but tiny notice which could totally be just. It's like a random conspiracy theory but when Jon disappears into that little solar system into a cloud of smoke. That husband is looking over all all of a sudden I was like wait. Is He god that made like the universe like Earth. Did he like have a time. Switch and go back and create and create the events that led up to now. What does he do in the first issue or in that issue where he says if I had never been born? My Dad was ever watchmaker. If I never gotten that thing is that the fact guy is at the watch is is it this which one came first exit really matter. So that's what I mean like. Did he just have this moment. where he's like I'm glad I made this. Let's do it again. Like could be because he also like disappears in the little things that immediately I thought of the Snow Globe that Lori brought up so I'll say this on the table if you're watching on Youtube I have doomsday clock which is DC sequel to. What this very so once? Vertigo got rolled into DC continuity. They're like cool. What do we do with the characters and Geoff? John's fucking fucker wrote these But to hell on to do it but also at the same time. Hbo Ran by Damon. Lindelof show and these are two the different sequels both good so whether you want to do the comic book sequel or You wanted TV Siebel. They're both very good sequels and they deal with what happens after no uh-huh so I'm not GonNa say you're going to read them. Yes you're consult. I mean you both named both my favorite parts. Ah specifically though the the one where they're on Mars I mean yours is pretty silent the entire seasons I think that some of the most beautifully yeah chapter four with John and the picture is one of the most beautifully written comics. I've ever read especially as an adult but like the one with Whether on Mars and she's exploring the back story of the comedian I think it's a really wonderful wonderfully written reveal of like the hints are always there all along that he's your dad like especially when he's like yeah. You don't have her hair though if you look at the coloring bring. It's the same color his hair. And so I. It's interesting to get halfway through this book and now the comedian is one way and then just see this other side of him where he was very humanistic just trying to connect with his daughter. You see when a UH Mama Mama Specter Like but he was so kind to get kindness out of a man like that is everything. Yeah just like her. Yeah those that was the other fascinating part was Sally's attachment to the comedian Like like despite the events that transpired like that was that was also it just. It is such a good job of like just at the very end when she kisses the picture. Yeah it's still like such a great exploration this guy but also I get this guy though. Yeah because it's A. It's a very sensitive topic and they somehow or eleanor somehow nailed exploring in such a great way. I looked graceful way. Yeah Josh Bell System I was GonNa say another just purely from a visual. Standpoint is the basically destruction and rebuilding of Dr Manhattan Cool Find Walking around brain. I mean it was just so everybody back together slowly only yeah so that was that was really cool sequence of events of like especially like the people like. They're realizing what's happening. Just the the whole event is just I mean it's it's just a whole bunch of tragic events unfortunately but But it's such a beautiful beautiful story. Actually I I really like the Eh like the comedian. Actually like what he's done to everybody here and like I would say he has a flat arc through the through the The book and everyone's kind of affected one way or the other like Adrian in some sense respects him because he understands it actually all of them kind of respect the community even though he's a piece of shit yeah because I think Russia Gorriak says where he's like he understood humans indefinitely and chose to pair them and chose a show them. What Tru truly American? The thing is is that line that I can think Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the movie did very well. It's like what happened to the American dream. What happen this is it? You're looking at the American dream was like. Oh Aw God And it's it's I mean there's a lot of notion in the in the book where it's kind of like a rohrschack is fucking this piece of shit where he's like. He hates liberalism. He hates women and different ethnicities and he's racist and he's actually a self parody of himself because is he doesn't comp he never compromise but then he does compromise a lot quite everyone like fucking scum of the earth. But he's the one that smells he's the one that's living off people eating their food in their their beans and it's like you know. This is the audience surrogate to get to know this world. And you know Alan Moore winning record being like if you like if you relate to Rosiak stay stay the fuck away from me. You're missing the point completely. Oh but I will say I do fucking love that one line Adrian vite and then and he says I did it thirty five minutes ago in I just thought it was Terri. Lewis such gangster At the moment and I was just cuts back to post. Is that so gangster movie Roszak by the way because they got rid of all the racist and all the things that make him floral. Yeah Right Earl Jackie. Jackie Earle Haley Jackie. So he killed it but like that if you like the movie Russia that's fine but if you like this congregration we fucking wall. So you can feel insightful insight Kim but you don't want to be right if he's your hero. That's that's where I like Hannibal Lecter B. S. friend. That's what I mean. I don't want to be his friend at all a fair queuing. I and of course just as we're talking about actor who rohrschack bed One of my favorite scenes was or interactions interactions was rohrschack. Having the time with the psychologist I forget his name but at first when he's like it's a pretty butterfly Two people dancing thing. I feel those do so badly. Well I feel like it's it's one of the better depictions of like having really severe mental toll problems and then being around a bunch of people who like you know or just not GonNa get it so you're like it's fine. I'm fine don't worry about it if I explained what this is to you. You'd have nightmares mirrors for months. And when he does. That's exactly what happens things even if you read his notes. They go from being really eloquently. Written to suddenly the short sentences much like rush home wife is dead. A yelling at me again. And you're you're you're the first crack seems. Sounds like it should have been kovacs not rohrschack. Oh Shit starts right in the short sentences and then reject doesn't speak actually pretty intelligible. It's actually they really broken English. Yeah only Kovacs. He actually speaks creole. And only because I feel like Roszak this is totally completely side tangent. But like if he wasn't fighting for the side of good he would really great joker a joker would have killed him one day because of Orthodox mythology -nology joker the same kind of brutality. Oh for sure is a very good mirror image to jokers. Same thing about Adrian. I mean I would say he's a closer to the punisher. Yeah I could see very light. Say Adrian's right bad guy brutal. Thank God yeah. He's a gangster but I mean he can make easily make a great. I loved it. What if we shot? You just have to catch. It's the bullet and then I was like cakes. y'All shadow to the homes that out when I originally when I don't know so with Adrian Vite is as a kid didn't get it and I was like when we release the giants. That's fucked up as you get older as I read as older like yogurt like peace nonetheless. He saved the entire when they're talking to the war room about what would happen if the nuclear war happened and they lost the entirety of the east side of the US till Texas. I mean the lives accounted that way is half the pilots are. How many American lives right? And they're not even talking about like what Russia killing everything on the way and they're like Mexico will get brunt of it and all that kind of stuff not not to include the nuclear winter winner and weather changes and all that kind of stuff So at the same time like yes. It's the utilitarian. Methodology will but like. What did we get out of that? We got a apiece therapies as opposed to losing probably all of humanity so so well yes maybe not the greatest guy at the same time. I'm like as I got all those young currently his side but nonetheless and that's why Rohrschack died because he couldn't this is the opposite clear word nuclearized that's why Warsak died. Because he couldn't accept the fact that this piece that would usher a new age of people a stronger more loving world That he talked about the day to Russia. Yeah fuck sexist but also well. I mean that's the thing where it's kind of like you're not really supposed to. I think sympathize but more understand that someone who does this is highly traumatizing. Needs literally like like help. Yeah Yeah needs help and so it's trying to in like that's something on record that Eleanor's talked about like Doctor Manhattan Represents Superman Roszak represents Batman. What I what I will say okay? Is that worship has always fascinated me my favorite character. He's just I would design standpoint and from a character back story and just the tragically flawed person that he is he just he fascinates. He's a compelling character. Jackie O Haley and Jack. Sandra made him that way he he is. They got rid of all of this stuff. 'cause you're like you do have a really fascinating also. They said they didn't want to have like the probably the best character in the movie. Probably be like such terrible rebel. Purse are pretty Downer movie but No in have you ever. You've never read the before the watchman it does like small little like one shots of like the Of Roszak an night owl together and is really dope. Shot of watch of rohrschack uncover where he's like pulling his glove so fucking. 'cause it's like newer animation seven or New Orleans style. That's Dan talks about how Russia used to be used to be Super Nice really intelligible beautiful tactician tactician like. He was his tactics predictable which made him great and then he just one day just fucking lost it and then next find out what it was that that made him snap. Was that like kidnapping kidnapping thing. But I I mean there's so many little things in this aside from story just aren't wise that like Which I'm assuming is credit? Read it to Dave Gibbons as well as Alamar but mostly given the anytime there outside of Moloch right Milwaukee say the Rx sign that flashes so you get read Ed and then the blue and then the red which wasn't included in the movie but I thought was such a wonderful tone Especially being someone who lived in York and knowing exactly what that shit that Shit's about There's a lot.

We had to ban the president from read it because he kept exposing state secrets. The the problem. They're doing the right around you because this is around with a movie confirms that Tim Blake. Nelson is also crooked. But they've been using this device. Where Danny Huston Tim Blake Nelson have been calling each other drivers muffled but like because of the affectation the two of these actors are using this movie? You can tell immediately that it's both of them. I I think look. There's no fucking prized either. It's like Danny Houston gets a phone call. It's a northern you gotta worry about our and then it cuts to the Oval Office offices must be like Tim Blake Nelson. This and I'm like no fucking Shit of course. Does anybody remember if Jackie Earle. Haley ends up being in on it and the second one because I was like. Oh it's Jackie Taylor did I forget I think we sort of we're talking about this. Not In an episode or anything but I think we did say. It was surprising that he's not crooked. I don't remember I was pretty very close to blackout drunk and we saw that when I went to the theater. And so we're wasted. Yeah we're not having fun and we're having tons of fun and not paying attention. No we're at that shitty eight thirty Fourth Street that's on the way to go to the AMC thirty four. You GotTa be fucking waste definitely. So He's driving this truck that cops chasing in him you know He. He was like ripping the trailer part off at falls. And all these dudes going flying and he's about to lose them in the truck turns over. This is my favorite part of the movie. Like like they that there's like a a blockade of the ready for him and he like he jumps out and he like escapes into the into the Cornfield or something just regular warranty woods woods and no one could find him even though he is grunting and going back. Turn your flashlights off. Just fucking elicit woods. They're like really big corn. I think about it. There's a cordless. Yeah he runs into the woods and he winds up stealing another car thinks because at some point he's just driving a pickup truck and he's hilariously fallen asleep at the wheel right because he liked drives all through the night and he winds up in West Virginia in this like backwater whenever the puck and here we go. Primo addition to this franchise. Nick Nolte as the fucking rattled Vietnam veteran crazy. CBS father that abandoned him. Oh Shit Lay Ben Oh wade banning Scottish guy to play I gotta go fucking connery just get connery. Yeah get over time little too old but you know I don't think Klay banning can have a came. Yeah I mean here's the thing. This section section of the movie is almost good. Like it's kind of okay. Nick Dougherty is really good in this really. Thank God I'm not crazy. He's re he likes fucking loving off his old man output lately. This the man to Laurie. That's got that same cadence to his voice. He's just like yeah this is you know. He's I want. This is to be Claybon. I want him to be angel. He's The Guardian Angel. Because it's the first thing you see like he walks in and he's like aggie Fag perfect a Mike banning reveals that he's been like keeping tabs on him and he's like you know you've you've been living here for a while before that it was in North Carolina Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah and. There's a great McNulty lines around here. He's like well did you. You're fucking crazy. Father took out that pressure. Good for you. Thank God now you're talking about Epstein in writing his fucking manifesto is and the way he couches. It though is like I gotta write down my thought so I don't forget your yeah dude so the world can read it. He shitting and buckets right. That's what we're talking about assistance. "If you want to get in here and your trouble Thursday requests come up at five o'clock the percentage of the opening bell on the news is next from the northwestern medicine newsroom WGN all right we're talking about the and the least scary movies of all time how about I know what you did last summer which is a terrible movie Jennifer love Hewitt Ryan slow I forgot Ryan flippy is in that Sarah Michelle Gellar Freddie Prinze junior NIH Jeez I'm gonna remember Jennifer by member Jennifer love Hewitt being in it that's about all there is the only thing I remember and the guys the guys basically dressed like the Gordon's fisherman the killer yeah that's the only thing I remember I remember the movie being terrible and it came out of that it came out that that post scream time where they were making they were trying to repeat the formula of scream over and over and over again and making the posters look like scream like the poster design the art design on the posters was exactly the same they were just trying to grab that scream crowd and you get Neve Campbell in scream so they put them in another party of five star in I know what you did last summer with Jennifer love Hewitt and it says here when you're gone is dressed like the Gordon's fisherman who gives a crap what you did last summer that's about as scary as Jennifer love Hewitt's acting real so aren't then we got the nightmare on Elm Street remake which was shot right here in Chicago came out in two thousand ten absolutely terrible Rooney Mara Jackie Earle Haley who played Freddy Krueger just a bad idea in general you know as we stand and we talk about even at night on the show this morning that sometimes just don't remake a movie like we don't remake not in the nightmare on Elm Street you don't recast nobody on the planet should play Freddy Krueger but Robert England and I think Jackie Earle Haley is a great actor I think he's terrific I think you tried to put his own spin on Freddy Krueger but that is such an iconic role that is so completely associated with one actor in one actor only just anybody you just ridiculous absolutely ridiculous a bad idea from the get go and and and the movie the X. execution was terrible and and unfortunately we shot here re making an iron on street should have given first time filmmaker and music video veterans Samuel bears imagination free reign to conceive all kinds of visual madness after all Freddy Krueger here played by Jackie Earle Haley who should have known better they say does his killing in people's dreams where anything is possible instead say of staging scenes in which Kruger slaughters teenagers usually twist lors while reading a unicorn bear lease lazily remade to several of the original film's famous scenes couple that with infuriating familiarity with bears basic inability to establish tension you've got one of the worst horror remakes of all time yes absolutely I completely agree I'm and once again nobody but nobody but Robert England is Freddy Krueger no you can't you can't you can't so I don't know if they're there you know I mean a lot of a lot of you know big actors and actresses have parts that are that are completely associated with them and that that are their roles that no one else on the planet can play you know like once you remake that read remake the godfather and see if you can you know you can get somebody to play Michael Corleone who is an al Pacino or get somebody to play veto who's not Marlon Brando it's on that level and you know Freddy Kruger is one of the most iconic characters in horror film history and Robert England's performance as Freddie is one of the best so terrible idea all right let's take a break the news is coming up after this Saturday.

"As optimus primal later in the armada energy on cybercrime cartoons. He was often sprite but here in beast wars he was directed by a Friday to thirteenth alumni. Here's where it gets funny now. He started in a Freddie versus Jason movie in fact the Freddie Versus Jason Jason Movie which came out in two thousand three. He played sheriff. You played the town sheriff. I have his name. My notes are not at hand right now. I'm so sloppy this he played the town's sheriff where the whole Freddie versus Jason Jason Shenanigans is going on. I was prepared to tell you that part. You probably already know that that's another one of those not as pretty well known factoid when it comes to this stuff what I just realized was and I wish out realized that earlier talk of works at my notes a little better Friday the thirteenth part seven was originally intended to be a Freddie versus Jason Movie And in those initial movie you got the aridity. There's the first steps are all the legal ease the script writing studios the back and forth and all that that's going back and forth forever until movie actually starts being worked on okay it was intended to be Freddie versus Jason Movie Terms Cubby met and somehow got made into a teen psychic versus Jason Movie go figure that one of the stars of what was supposed to be the Freddie versus Jason Movie later voice directed a guy who's one of the stars in the actual Freddie versus Jason. Sometimes things just work out in a very funny manner. Don't they now. Here's another bit of comedy about that. In Freddie versus versus Jason. We had a cameo appearance by one actor. Who Do we just had a small. Maybe Cameo appearance. That actor's name is Scott Ward. I know that names not flipping anything off in your head right now now. He's been in a lot of things but I'm GONNA get to white is it's funny how this worked out. Scott Ward had a small cameo role just based on his just based on his nominee as an actor or whatever you know nominee that's not the right word is based small cameo role. He was free for versus versus Jason a few years later. Scott Ward was into transformers two thousand seven movie playing one of the military personnel well. That's pretty cool but why is that so ironic just other than an actor was in a Jason Movie and then later transformers movie like like I said these things happen you know the these voice actors or actors water Aaron million productions and there's probably a ton of 'em. I'm not bringing up right now just because of the fact how things work. I don't know everything who knows maybe some best boy or a boom. MIC operator was on and all of them. You know I don't know but anyway. This guy was in a small cameo role in Freddie versus Jason and then a few years later one to military personnel in the transformers two thousand seven movie but what makes that so funny remember they were how I just said. Gary Chalk was Freddie versus. Jason will years later down the row. Gary Chalk was in a direct. DVD movie sequel to a popular all-time movie now the movie. I'm talking about how is Christmas Carol. Christmas Carol of course is a classic movie Ralphie wanting to Red Ryder. Bb Gun for Christmas and it's actually has other sequels. It's actually part of a series. You could google that if you like. I'M NOT GONNA get into all of it. Well there was a direct the DVD's sequel movie not tied into the original source material aside from Christmas story address. You know Christmas story part two would ralphie being older teenager wanting a car for Christmas. That's and to draw comparisons to the original movie. He has a Christmas break job working as an Elf for the Mall Santa. We all remember to Santa Cena Christmas story so Gary Chalk Place Senate that now why is that so ironic and funny. Will you see Zack Ward. Guy Was just mentioning he you Scott Farkas in the original Christmas story. You know the bully who was like terrorizing them in Ralphie. beat the crap out of that guy he was afraid versus Jason he was in transformers and he was Christmas story. That's weird. That's just kind of weird. How these things work out isn't it now it just kind of ironic due to away. These things work out. That was weird to me. I was just like I. I didn't even mean to do that. One what was going on was I was just kind of glancing over some of these things and I was looking at Gerry chalks character on the cast list and I said to myself hey that guy looks familiar because what I was going to do. I I made notes for this episode that like right now. I can't find and it was basically the sheriff's last. I don't think it Sheriff Marshall Who Gary Chalk Plate and I saw the scots like hey he looked familiar and clicked and they're one of the listings was transformer and riot top with Scott Fergus so that was an accidental one right there at all making notes for I didn't make the most comprehensive of notes best trying to get some of them and that was one of them now to end this one out. I'm going to talk about probably the most direct crossover and a real reason. I was clicking transfers two thousand seven listing because I wanted to get the characters name right see the transfers two thousand seven movie character named Trent DeMarco played by sure hold on one second. Pardon me I had a coughing fit for some reason those allergies won't Act Otamendi hit record the Trent demarco was played by Travis Van Winkle indie original coach transports two thousand seven movie. That was one of the reasons I was looking at the two thousand seven cast-list now the transformers two thousand seven movie is a production of platinum dunes entertainment platinum dunes is a production company owned by Michael Bay who made the transformers two thousand seven movie. He may also the Friday the thirteenth two thousand nine remake and two thousand ten nightmare on ELM street remake once again having and Freddy and Jason here in the same discussion but that's okay because it's the same. It's the same a chronological. It's the same cannon it's the same series series just a different bad guy in different parts of the world much like Captain America has to do with Red Skull and iron man had to deal with ironmonger in monger Freddy and Jason Exist in the same fictional setting okay before I get more into Travis Demarco Marco until you guys a funny story. I found out years ago that nightmare ELM street two thousand ten remake. Make didn't have Robert England playing Freddie Krueger as normally you know he's getting a little older they decided to recast them and they picked Jackie Jackie Earle Haley who you guys probably best know from Oh my Lord Africa the movie. The from the watchman will Jackie Earle Haley Played Freddy Kruger earlier in the eighties in the original dime round street. One of the stars was Johnny Depp Well. This is a funny story. Johnny Depp didn't intend tend to be in the movie he had went with his roommate too. The try-outs whose remit was an actor too and his roommate was trying out for the movie. The directors liked Johnny so much. They talked him into trying out and he got a role. We know who's roommate was Jackie Earle Haley who played for a cruiser in the two thousand ten roommate so just by the way a pure luck would have it. The Guy Tried out for the original movie as a teenager to be one two teenage characters and then later was in the reboot as the main bad guy. It's funny how these things work out but it's super funny how these things worked out have is pointed out earlier with Sue Blue Gary Chalk and Scott Farkas you hear see Michael Bay produced a course the the bulk of the live action transformers movies. I I think he just has his name on the credits for the bumblebee movie as part of a contractor whatever I don't know how much he had to do without one liquids Michael Bay his producer third rector records the live action movies his Phillips one of his little studios makes these are remakes they made the Texas chainsaw massacre remake and the Jason remaking all countries mentioned big whoop right. That's just you know. The Guy Likes to make money. Obviously who cares right well that Travis Van Winkle Mhm who was in two thousand seven transformers movie playing Trent DeMarco. If you guys don't remember well you guys remember the jerk in high school that was made to Sheila booth the Megan Fox's original boyfriend or I guess she was hanging around him. She might not have been his girlfriend a friend but she sure was pretty much paired up with him. At the beginning you know he was picking on Shiloh boo for whatever and she ended up leaving her to write off a Shiloh booth hair at that cool all seen and all you got. You got showed up their full that guy the jerk bully cool guy character. Trent DEMARCO. That was the characters name. Why am I pointing that out in two thousand nine okay two movies came out in two thousand nine. Well a Lotta movies did but in two thousand nine the Friday the thirteenth remake came out and then revenge of the fallen transformers partout came out later that summer in fact while you're watching into Friday the thirteenth into theater you likely saw a trailer for revenge fallen I know I did. That's just the way movies work of course will hey. Michael Bay directed one one of his production companies and then later his production company and did you guys notice if your ear nose in the transformers movies a lot of the side characters don't come back. You know it's Shiloh booths friend part one. It wasn't impart to his friend for part. Two was an import three very shallow buffet. Does an empire for you know that sort of thing you know. Megan Fox just vanished and part part three. You know these are things the we've all all discussed the movies rather all these things about the moves. I'm not gonNA say faults just enough people that said already will the trend. DEMARCO guy sure didn't show back up and rented a fallen diddy. Trent DeMarco Travis Van Winkle played the character of Trent demarco and fry thirteen two thousand nine. He played the exact same character who spoiler. It's a decade year old movie got murdered erred so the at least. DEF- reboot Friday the thirteenth from two thousand nine is in the same actual capacity the of the live action movies he played the same guy wasn't just the same actor. He played the same guy. Now I know some you could point will will. There's nothing solid concrete shut up Trenton. Tomorrow was killed by Jason after being a jerk Sheila booth he made fun of Bumblebee and Jason Killed Him that had happened so that's the most concrete Friday thirteen ain't crossover being that in a semi sort of way the move some of the movies are connected funny now. It's not concrete. I know it's just could have been just the they're like hey he's in this movie to listening his character that he played the same ain't sort of upper-class popular kid you know they obviously they just did it for Ngok. Whatever but dude the guy who was a jerk. Trent demarco totally got murdered by chason before part to ever happened..
