"A single man by bringing her into Darvish year had been the means of uniting them pride and prejudice pride and prejudice one of the most famous opening lines in all of English literature it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife and it ends Darcy as well as Elizabeth really love them and they were both ever sensible of the warmest gratitude towards the person who by bringing her into Darvish year had been the means of uniting them and Barry I scale with frustration of myself desperately clutching the flat foil balloon and Taylor's handkerchief and surrender myself to my grief the black foil balloons whose Taylor why does he know where is name a romantic novel that has a foil balloon or perhaps that's done this so this is a a romantic novel about a meteorologist I can give you some help no that would be good at the cost of a few points this particular work is somewhere between a bodice Ripper and the page repor depending on who you speak to hello Jack the Ripper bodice Ripper this is this is Mark Twain any Jackie Collins is it I don't think we do Jackie Collins sure why not we're not doing Jackie Collins on this show this time okay that's not to say we would never.

"Choice of on who is normally normally i feel like wandering through a field of flowers job listening to material girl by madonna and cam patras with his little scarlett johansson face yes is he is not happy this way <hes> recently he took to twitter to criticize gay express us a new zealand l._g._b._t._q. Magazine over there quote disappointing and inappropriate coverage of him it all started when the interviewer for the magazine asked him what he thought were wildly invasive inappropriate questions about his sex and queer culture and i sort of agree i. I think it was crazy interview. I mean some of the questions are just straight up things you ask somebody into grinder. Yes it seemed light. The interviewer was trying to create a sort of familiarity. Yeah i don't even have with most people now now. <hes> before we get into the actual thing that upset them the most it starts out by asking him about does he have a crush on starred mendez and when they met did things get steamy between that wow so the question the question is could you please out. Shawn mendes was gas slighty slighty. It felt like interview in playboy in nineteen ninety-three right yeah cosmo cosmo. The line of questioning at this interviewer did was very that's where my mind went. Magazine uses the word steamy yeah yeah outside of a grades anatomy scriptwriter in two thousand five. Let me say jackie collins but what really made him upset was with the interviewer asked him if he was a fan the end of will and grace because he's a faggot <hes> and whether or not he was a top or a bottom and troy said i thought about asking the interview you're about his absolute favorite sex after that last question but then i remembered how wildly invasive strange and inappropriate that would be didn't stop him though well. I think he should have asked him. Honestly i feel like there's a there's a way to this media thing and you know he answered all of the questions then to only go go back on twitter there and do this rant and i feel like sometimes it could be as simple as i'm not answering that <hes> you know why play the game why feed into it and i i imagine it's hard for celebrities to know they can turn down questions. 'cause it is awkward when you're doing q._n._a. There is a semblance of a real conversation occurring and you wanted to feel like you're talking to a friend because that's how you probably the best interview but at the same time it's not a friend that conversation you know it is business and you should be able to just turned down a question over the phone right person so so it seems like it would be easier when you're not you know in person making eye contact to just be like i'm not answering that especially when the person you're dealing with basically sounds like a mcdonald's drive through they just sitting in your living room or something just. Where did you ask me. I love the interview just describes it as i'm gonna pass on that one and it's the last question but also i feel like the interviewer probably would have loved if troy asked him that question too yeah. It seemed like he was fishing for date. Good lordy right. Maybe which lends itself to this whole thing surrounding the shawn mendez question two right. I feel like so much of the way that we cover gay. Male celebrities. Now is just this idea that maybe you could date them. They're available yet. It's i mean it's the way that you see people insisting that shawn mendez is gay or constantly like wondering what he's doing and like all the time it's sort of the idea that if he were he would somehow be accessible to you and you are still some gates weeding on your shift at starbucks glendale right no kidding. I also just want to say that. One thing. I liked liked about troy. Savant response was he didn't dismiss the outlet wholesale and say oh you're just trash period and he said he didn't like this line of questioning which is so much different than that time. Olivia munn responded to go fug yourself and basically tried to repaint them as you know <hes> patty scandalous you know superficial..

"And I'm not saying all this. But you talk about you know, the fan boys in that kind of community because it's such a different world because he has reviewers and things like when we go into review a game. It's like, yeah, we wanna like this. I mean, especially when you meet developers, and you see people working on stuff, and you see what what goes into it, especially knowing the industry, you want think people to succeed in things to happen. And you know, it doesn't happen all the time. But and that's I mean, that's the thing you speak. I mean, I know you've talked about this million times. But especially with Jan review scale. And when you get like, a seven or eight or six or something like that still good or okay? I mean, it's not it's not doesn't mean the game is like the worst thing in the entire universe. But it's just unfortunately, especially as you start falling off of that. Right. That's where expectations in your personal biases coming play hundred percent where it is. Oh, okay. Cool. If it's a game of the year contender, and I want to know everything about the industry, I should play all of these rather. It's my zone or not. Of course, you start getting into. Yeah. All right. Cool. It's below Nate. But it's six to eight right in that range where it's like, it's all right. I love zombie game superhero game. Whatever I if that. Falls in there. I wanna play that try it. Right. Definitely. Yeah. Definitely definitely. Yeah. It's it's an interesting thing. And you know, it's it's tough because you know, specially when you don't have as much time. And like you said with there are a lot of incredible games coming out. So when there's a game that's not reaching those high points. I understand that it's hard for some people to play everything, but there's merit in those games. And they're worth trying in that kind of pushing aside because they didn't make it to the game of the year talk. 'cause they're still a lot of fun to be had. Sure. And that's about an think false seventy Sixers. Good example, but about crackdown the amount of I've seen in my time line being I mean Christine's timer from what's being like, I don't know if he were expecting four crackdown, and I'm getting. Jackie Collins, Saint stuff to that point to where it was like, you know, what that is. Right. And when I mean that mood for that kind of like just blockbuster right or one I'll jump in attract spectators tough sometimes because then you could be a false expectation so fault there. Follow the media's fault systems ragged, isn't that? Right. Kevin. Adrian wheelers back from Ashland, Missouri. He has his question here officially now. Anyway, on my question last week at the Nintendo direct, we learned that links awakening is being remade for the switch will come out later this year when I saw the news I got excited, but then paused I've never played that game. So why was I excited for a remake I'm excited because although I never gave his games a try when I was younger this new remake will bring me into the franchise for the first time on that note. What games would you like to see be remade today that you never got it to play when you when they came out. It's easy to name old games we loved, but there are lots of games out there that a lot of us didn't get to play for one reason or another what's game or series. You never got into. But would love if they remade them. It was great to meet you both on Sunday. Thanks. Thank you, both for being awesome. And Greg don't forget you. Oh, Andrea pizza for losing anthem bet Winky mode wide you bring that up that far into the question. God damnit, apparently, I was hammered on a kind of funny games day. I made a bet apparently games daily that if is anthem going to get laid and she was like, no. And I was like I'm gonna say, yes, we put a pizza party on there. So pizza party. Android in on Thursday for all day, filming I figured that. We there. Yeah. We all like pizza. Yeah. That was forbear. Good question. I it was interesting. I saw link's awakening obvious like everybody else. Fuck..

But think about how much people you know, what they're studying it. I don't even know we're going to be around to find out what the effects of how porn has affected sexuality. Okay. Okay. But porn has particularly skewed people's and at a younger age the millennials, especially don't you think? Well, anyone who's anyone who hasn't had to rely on a magazine or a dirty get there to figure out? I mean, Julian I had to read like the other side of midnight. And we did Jackie Collins novels and look at playboy, but anyone who's to Nello. Yeah. Anyone who's you know of the generation where you've had access at your fingertips. You know, it is a very skewed perspective. And one of the things that they're finding is the reason why the sex dolls these lifelike sex dolls because people who maybe have gotten into living in their basement living in their base and working digital jobs and don't have to leave their home. Yeah. And they're just looking up. And then when they meet a real person. It isn't anything like that? And Laurie it's all disturbing. But I have to report it so. Yeah, this is the these are trends these are happening. We need to know about it. Knowledge is power. No. Knowledge is power. That's right. Because if you see if you see something that looks suspicious in a closet full that lady out inspector signs of use. Expensive. Show. It might have been in California Gatien Ryan Gosling did the movie with. But that was like five years ago, the real. Then that was based on a book, and that was more the blow up doll with this. You know, the mouth I'm talking about like, these are the people who we? There was a documentary about it that we saw is who make these women. They cost five thousand dollars. Can you can custom make okay now? It's makes me sick. All right. Here's something to make you feel good. Okay. Okay. In twenty nineteen. This is going to be a year, and that finally and more out loud in a way that has never been seen before people are going to women are going to happily declare themselves. Happily single thank you area and other people later in life with no desire to get into a relationship people. I know like this. Yes. As if I'm dating myself, and where you splurge. Say that you just are happy that you don't have the stress of a relationship your perfect by yourself. But. Society hasn't been out loud about that. Okay. Yeah. Even even people on with themselves. I mean, look at you like when you first got divorced. You're like, oh, man. I got that boyfriend or relationship. I'm like what the hell you want one of those for he just had one for twenty four years. You just want to see if you can. I don't know what it is. You know, there there was like, oh, if you're not with somebody, and there is less and less, you're not gonna get that from other pimple, Asher and and in on yourself. So I think that point that the people will remain happily single later and not have to feel anything other than if that is their bliss and their joy. So that's a good. Trend and then we're going to have newer, fresher ways, they're continuing. And I'm sure it's happening at the Consumer Electronics Show somewhere in the bowels of that building. But the completely amazing new vibrators and sin tickling sensation things. They're just getting bigger or better. Getting bigger. Okay. It's very it's a very exciting time to be by raider. You.

"So for me it was a lot of plays that was a big drama nerd i mean i did read a lot of books but they were like jackie collins novels about sex so you all are not surprised are you and and i really liked why too but i didn't realize i was gonna write about i mean i was so focused on the movies and stories i loved that's really what sort of inspired me but i will tell you the best thing that i did as a young assistant in this business if you wanna write become a screenwriter the best thing you can do is read great screenplays i'm totally self taught didn't go to film school and all i did was read great writing through scripts to teach me how to write scripts i mean an outside of that like she's come undone was like my favorite book when i was like twenty three and i fell apart reading it and wanted that to feel that experience in my own work but it's a separate it's such a separate to to read books to what screenplays are yes you can actually have that this experiencing through a book but actually teach yourself how to write the craft of narrative tv film i think actually reading good screenwriters is is such a gift to be able to watch what they can do on a page you know and how they can execute something and to read a script that you can't put down because it's just you can just see how it's shot it's like unbelievable i think that's the best thing you can do if that's what you're asking like how to be a writer.
